No-One But You (The Mystic Consultant) - Part 2

Chapter 60: Istanbul(Part 10)

"So… why can't you die?"

Victor Strange was currently the youngest person hanging around the Kamar taj. He was at the tender age of 20, so Wade Wilson gave him a long look after he heard the baby "wizard's" random question.

Why couldn't he die? The mercenary smiled beneath his mask. He gave Steve Rogers a look, and he thought twice about turning in Ezekiel's direction.

Wade wasn't ready to look at him, so he returned to the innocent question.

"Weapon X, kid. Ever heard of it?"

That's why he was unable to die, and it kinda felt like Victor Strange wanted to correct that. Wade was happy to indulge another attempt, in fact, he welcomed anything that the baby Sorcerer Supreme cared to dish. His attention was drawn away from the music and the roof, because Victor Strange responded with a confused look.

His baby face was adorable, so Wade kept looking.

"Weapon X? No, I haven't heard of it."

Victor kind of shrugged. He never cared enough about PSYCHO-FUHHK WADE WILSON to dig into his past. He only asked because the thought of shoving him off the roof wouldn't cease.

I mean, his curiosity about Wade was growing, because the guy was as cartoonish and unreal as a person could get. Victor wasn't sensing anything spiritual, or "magical" behind his uncanny abilities either, so…

Normally, supernatural abilities left an energy trace, but Wade Wilson's body did the opposite. Victor couldn't pinpoint a source to the circus. It was, peculiar. The baby Strange had to glance over in Ezekiel's direction for a sec. He was taking care of the damage that was done higher up. That crime-lord ex boyfriend of his was probably ten feet away from the group.

Ezekiel could hear them tho, and he did listen in when Victor asked Wade his question.

A curiosity about Wade was also building up within Victor, because of the annoying comment his sister made. Donna made a stupid assumption that Wade and Ezekiel were together, and Victor couldn't shake it out of his baby mind. It just buggggeeddd him to the core, so he started directing his attention toward that freak more and more. Think of it as inspecting an enemy, or whatever.

"Awe Victor, you're so cute. Weapon X was a program, and I was a test subject. See, I have this thing called cancer, and so these wonderful people put me in their program to help me out. Ever heard of Wolverine?"

Wade was talking all sweet and friendly to Victor, but Steve Rogers could clearly hear the sarcasm. The sarcasm was oozing through as Wade spoke, so the blonde tossed some rubble in Wade's direction.

The mercenary was all kind, and smiley beneath his mask. He couldn't wait to tell the baby wizard more about why he was unable to die.

Victor had heard of Wolverine. He met the mutant, and he worked with him a lot back when he used to visit the X-Mansion. Victor could sense the sarcasm going on in Wade's voice tho, so he didn't grace Deadpool with a response.

"Victor, Wolverine is Weapon X, and that means his mutant abilities were graciously shared with me. Wolvie-poo is always inside of me, and that's why I can't die."

Oh. Victor tried to act as uninterested as possible with the information that was sarcastically given to him, and he definitely didn't offer up a follow-up question. He did briefly look over in Wade's general direction tho, and he noticed that the mercenary was playfully dangling his legs off of the left side of the roof.

He seemed at ease with the information that he shared, and a thought or two about it crossed Victor's mind after a moment.

Wade Wilson wasn't finished. He took a moment to set up his thoughts, and he gently tossed some rubble back in Steve's direction. Victor Strange couldn't afford to be that NAIVE any longer, so Wade inwardly decided that it was time for him to face the music.

WADE WAS THERE FOR A SPECIFIC REASON, and he wasn't really sure if the precious wizard baby understood the notion.

"VICTOR, Wolverine meets Weapon X program, Weapon X program meets Deadpool. That means…. Deadpool and Wolverine meet Three Mile Island. Three Mile Island meets William Stryker, William Stryker meets Obadiah Stane. Obadiah Stane meets Deadpool…. THEREFORE, Deadpool meets Ezekiel Stane."

And now, ladies and gentlemen, we have come full circle. Wade smiled all the way through the brief story he shared, then he immediately turned in Victor's direction. Wade was more than happy toeducateStephen and Donna Strange's baby brother on what went on in the real world.

The mercenary felt like he had to, because that baby farm boy was FARRRRR from where he used to live out in Nebraska. Deadpool knew exactly who he was looking at in that moment, and he inwardly hoped that the kid snapped into some sort of clue.

It was a dark scary world out there, and Wade was about to admit that he was there for a reason. Ezekiel Stane was that reason, hookups or not. Wade said what he said, so Victor couldget.with.the.program. Mmmkay? All tea, no shade. He studied the look that emerged on Victor's face while the information was dished out and processed.

Victor recalled what happened at Three Mile Island, so he quickly looked over in Ezekiel's direction. The two of them aligned with the X-Men ages ago, and together they shut the island down.

Victor inwardly did the math, and he thought over why Wade fuckface Wilson decided to give him that information. Wade was supposed to kill Ezekiel. He almost murdered him, but he didn't….and they….

"COOL STORY, BRO."

Victor quickly flipped him off. What, did Wade want a friggen cookie? The baby Strange was suddenly over it. OK, so Three Mile Island is why Wade didn't kill Ezekiel. Cool. Awesome. Victor just shrugged his way right off the stupid roof.

He had to go go go go go goooooo away from the annoying scene. He didn't care if the roof was finished. All he wanted to do was leave Deadpool's bothersome presence.

The baby Strange was about to flip his shit. He became even more irritated. Bothered. Pissed. His fired up mind had him heading in a certain direction. Victor wanted to talk it out with someone, and his heart instantly settled on only one person. Only ONE PERSON flashed through his mind in that moment, and his body immediately turned toward his right as a result.

Victor's soul began to seek out Tony Stark. Not his brother, his sister, Ezekiel, Steve, or anyone else in the entire cosmos. Tony Stark was toward his right. Victor knew it, and he felt it… so, he started heading in that direction.
