(Ugh... sorry everyone, it's the end of summer and I'm very upset about it, especially how I wanted to get so much done before summer ended. Originally, I planned for the Legendary battles to be a 4 Parter but considering how I'm feeling, with the weather and end of summer I feel like I should just merge part 2 & 3 together as a longer Pt2 especially since this is in the middle of the battles during the city.

Reminder: I would like to remind you all about the ideas that popped into my head during my hiatus and it's everything listed under "Undetermined" or "Challenge" in my page is yours to pick if you want to write. [Ch9: Legendary Battles; Pt2]

Shadow Hoopa grinned, thinking it was able to destroy Hoopa and those around it, before it saw a light flashing before it and the Legendary Pokémon it had under its control. Making Shadow Hoopa grunt in surprise as three blinding lights erupted.

Coming out from the smoke were Latios and Latias, but their forms changed, their blue and red bodies becoming purple, and their arms grew in size as well as becoming wings similarly found on jet liners.

Coming from the smoke behind them was Rayquaza who also Mega Evolved with them. Ash looked surprised at how these Pokémon were able to Mega Evolve on their own without a trainer and exclaimed, "They Mega Evolved!"

"What a surprise!" Hoopa exclaimed not expecting this. Lugia remained silent watching them.

Shadow Hoopa roared, its anger growing even greater as it made its thralled Legendary Pokémon attack. Kyurem's tail lit up as a sphere of electric blue energy appeared before entering the base of it's claw-looking tail. The electric blue energy flowed throughout the Legendary Ice/Dragon Type, and it changed forms into something that Ash remembered too clearly from his time in Unova, Black Kyurem! A form that Kyurem assumed that not only had it resemble Zekrom, but also had Zekrom's electrical power combined with its own Ice-type strength. Taking off into the air, Ash saw that the two pins that were on the back of Black Kyurem's shoulders extended outwards and connected to the electro-turbine like tail as it began to glow with energy. Meaning Kyurem was about to use one of its most powerful moves while as Black Kyurem

Appearing around Black Kyurem was a sphere of energy that had two stands of energy forming an X before it as Kyurem launched it out, sending its Freeze Shock at Pikachu and Mega Latias.

Pikachu, seeing the Signature move, shouted and Mega Latias evaded, as the Signature Move of Black Kyurem flew and hit one of the darkened buildings, freezing most of the top section completely.

Mega Latios and Latias flew through the smoke unaware of a figure awaiting them. When they got close they saw Dialga roaring at them. They moved out of the way and flew up a building to get some space. Only Palkia was waiting for them charging up its signature move, Spacial Rend, before swinging it's claw and sending the whitish-pink arc of energy at them.

Both of the dragon/psychic types evaded, the empty, and recently completed, buildings were not so fortunate as they were damaged; the force of the Move was enough to make the second building collapse on top of itself.

Ash and Pikachu kept their eyes peeled as a powerful Flamethrower shot out at them. They saw Primal Groundon on the street firing at them. The Fire-Type move missed them, even as it followed after the two Mega Pokémon, hitting the buildings as it did. Ash, Hoopa, Pikachu, and the Pokémon they were riding on, then saw Black Kyurem flying at them preparing to attack them, only for Ash to shout, "Dodge it!"

The two fast flying Pokémon did as instructed and flew out of Black Kyurem's way, just as Primal Groundon shot another Flamethrower and hit the Strongest Dragon-Type in the world. Making it fall to the ground.

Mega Rayquaza glared down at Giratina. The controlled Giratina roared flying at the Warden of the Sky. Mega Rayquaza then roared in response, it's body being coated in a Draconic-green Aura as it shot at Giratina like an arrow, using its signature move, Dragon Ascent. Giratina was forced back into the building, as the sound of the crash and it's cry began to gain the attention of the populace below. Unable to believe that Legendary Pokémon are battling in their city.

Giratina got an Aura Sphere charged and fired it out. Mega Rayquaza moved out of the way from being hit, as the ball of Aura shot towards a populated building. Ash saw this and shouted, "No!"

Before it hit, another Aura Sphere came from the sky and deflected it away from the city.

The boy looked up and saw a familiar shape floating over to them, Mewtwo. However, Ash wasn't sure if this was the Mewtwo he met in Johto, or if this is the Mewtwo he met in Unova. Cautiously, he asked, "Are you…"

"I was in the neighborhood when I sensed this happening." The feminine voice say in his head, Ash knew which Mewtwo this was.

"Mewtwo!" Ash said looking at his friend, who then asked, with a serious expression, "What is going on?"

"We got a big problem! Shadow Hoopa's trying to get and control Hoopa and he's making Six Powerful Legendary Pokémon battle us. We're trying to buy our friends time to remake a bottle that should stop Shadow Hoopa's rampage." Ash explained, gesturing the Legendary Pokémon around them while also the Pokémon with the glowing red eyes.

Sensing the anger in Shadow Hoopa and how the minds of the Legendary Pokémon are being influenced by this creature, Mewtwo nodded, "If it's to protect this world. I will assist."

Ash smiled happy that another of his friends came to help. Mewtwo nodded as it shouted, "Look out!"

And then used Protect to deflect the Shadow Ball that Giratina shot at Ash and his side, deflecting it down to the ground.

Lugia let out a cry as it was facing the Primal Kyogre, even as it urged, "Kyogre-sama, return to your senses."

Primal Kyogre roared, ignoring Lugia's plea, the influence put on it by Shadow Hoopa was strong, as it unleashed a Hydro Pump at Lugia. Lugia quickly put up a Safeguard, protecting itself from the water-type move before unleashing another Dragon Rush at the Warden of the Seas.

While under Shadow Hoopa's influence and its power, Primal Kyogre went and rose above the sea and moved as though it was swimming in the air as it dodged the Dragon Rush.

Lugia was not having a good time, but it knew that it could not unleash its full power while in a heavily populated area, especially now when so many Humans and Pokémon were in the range of the city.

Black Kyurem flew as it chased after the two Mega Dragon/Psychic Pokémon and their riders before it shifted with an infusion of crimson energy that shifted the Strongest Dragon-Type in the world into its other alternate form, White Kyurem. It's body glowed as it prepared for the signature move he had in this form, Ice Burn. The energy created a circular reddish-purple aura around its body. It then released multiple reddish-purple beams of energy at Mega Latios and Latias.

The two Mega Pokémon dodged before one of the beams of energy hit Mega Latios. The force of the impact made Ash fall off the legendary Pokémon to the surface below.

"Ashkan!" Hoopa cried out, throwing one of its rings towards Ash; it grew larger as Ash fell through and Ash found himself landing on Mega Latios' back.

Ash came out of his surprise as he said to Hoopa and the Pokémon, "You saved me, thanks a lot!"

The two new guardians of Alto Mare responded to the boy. Hoopa giggled and asked, "Are you surprised?"

Ash smiled back, happy at Hoopa helping him.

They heard a cry and saw the shiny Mega Rayquaza flying at White Kyurem coiling its body around the Legendary Pokémon from Unova and dragging it down underwater with itself.

"Rayquaza!" Ash shouted, shocked to see the Pokémon doing that.

Immediately a wave was made from either an explosion or the impact and then the entire river froze into Ice from the result of having Kyurem in the water.

No sooner had the ice reached the edges of the river became encased in ice, both White Kyurem and Mega Rayquaza came out from under the water and flew into the air. Without give White Kyurem time to attack, Mega Raquaza let out a Hyper Beam that caused an explosion enveloping White Kyurem. The said explosion could be heard from all parts of the city, and it made the people living at the city evacuate to the only safe place in the immediate area, Dahara Tower.

White Kyurem chased after the target its master wanted, shooting Ice Beams out at them to stop them. The speed of both Mega Latios and Latias made a sharp turn to avoid being hit only to see Primal Groundon there making Ash shout, "PULL UP!"

They obeyed and flew upwards when the Continental Pokémon shot out a Flamethrower at them. As it readied itself to shoot out a powerful move, it was hit from behind by its supposed comrade White Kyurem. As though it was getting payback for being hit with that Ice-Type move from before.

Ash and the immediate group flew throughout the city, though he was pleased that the people were able to evacuate before the battle got further into the city. That was before he saw Primal Kyogre appearing over head with multiple blue orbs under its wing-like fins. It then fires a beam of blue energy from the orbs at them, not even caring about the damage it was causing below it, only wanting to take out what its master wanted to be gone. Rayquaza seeing those under its immediate charge were under attack by one of its fellow Wardens, flew and hit Primal Kyogre with a Hyper Beam, making it stop.

Mewtwo focused its eyes on them and had to admit, "I never thought I'd face such powerful entities as yourselves… It's a shame that your minds are not your own…"

Dialga and Palkia growled before they went and shot out their signature moves at the Clone Pokémon. Mewtwo focused and shifted forms, becoming the form that Ash is familiar with, the form that would be called Mega Mewtwo Y. Time seemed to stand still as the Mega Evolved Mewtwo flew past them at the high-speed manner it had when it assumed this more powerful form, much like when Mewtwo faced the Genesect army at New Tork City. Once it was in position Mega Mewtwo Y unleashed its Psystrike hitting both Deities of Time and Space. The two quickly recovered after several feet in the air, even as they looked around for their human-sized enemy.

Palkia had gotten an idea while getting a quick flash-view of Mewtwo stopping to change directions. After getting up in their faces Palkia saw its chance to strike and used its power to restrain Mewtwo in its current space. The Pokémon clone felt itself being held in place by power that exceeded its own. Dialga took this chance and fired a Dragon Breath at Mewtwo. Mewtwo avoided the majority of the damage by using Protect.

The Shadow watched angrily as those fools who got in the way of it wanting to destroy the 'weak half' of itself being able to repel the strongest legendary Pokémon it summoned and made under its' influences.

Just as it was about to attack, it felt a tremor throughout it's very being, a sense of heavy foreboding...

But no… that was not possible; it destroyed that accursed object when it finally broke free and took on its true form… turning its eyes at the tower that was built on the site where Ghris made the accursed Prison Bottle and its worst fears were being confirmed. The Prison Bottle was being remade by that human's descendants. Refusing to go back into that oblivion Shadow Hoopa roared and sent a ring at the direction of the tower. It reached it's arm through to do damage to the tower.

But something flew in the path of the arm that reached out from the ring and cause an explosion. Shadow Hoopa roared as it withdrew its hand from the portal and the ring returned.

Ash getting a brief look at the thing, asked, "Wait was that a missile?"

They looked and saw a familiar shape standing on the top of the tower. It was Optimus Primal, leader of the Maximals.

"Ash! Get out of there, we'll buy you and your friends inside time!" Optimus Primal reached his ears as he and the other Maximals held out their weapons.

"Ashkan! Pikan! Explain! Explain! Explain to Hoopa! Who they!? WHO ARE THEY!?" Hoopa asked, very confused by what it saw.

"Not now!" Ash shouted at Hoopa before he shouted to the Maximals, not wanting them to accidentally hurt the Pokémon with their weapons, "Just stay there! I got an idea!"

This made the Maimxals look at the human boy confused or bewildered just as they saw Ash turning to Rayquaza.

"Rayquaza use Twister!" Ash called to the Legendary Pokémon of the Sky, "You gotta use Twister now! Big enough to cover the whole island!"

Mega Rayquaza did as requested and flew high above Dahara Tower and, in a fast pace, flew around the edge of the Island, which allowed it to build up enough power to use Twister on a large scale to cover the whole Island.

Ash, seeing the Twister forming, then looked at Lugia and called, "Lugia, use Whirlpool around the Island! It'll reinforce the Twister!"

The legendary Beast of the Seas understood the boy's plan and nodded, "I understand."

And then dove under the water, its blue plates folding onto its body to allow it to swim better. Like Mega Rayquaza, Lugia swam around the island underwater, building up enough momentum to make the Whirlpool rise up, surrounding the island. With both powerful Flying and Water type Moves around them Ash then ordered, "Latios, Latias, Mewtwo use Psychic! Keep both of the Twister and Whirlpool in place around us!"

The three complied, their eyes glowing as the Psychic-type Move kept both the Twister and Whirlpool surrounding the Island of Dahara Tower, keeping both moves in place around both the tower and the Island, to be a makeshift, elemental sort of shield from Shadow Hoopa's attack.

The Maximals on the top of the tower stared in wonder, shock, amazement, or even all three as they saw this.

Optimus stared as he breathed, "By Primus…"

Cheattor gave out a laugh, cheering, "Way to go, Ash!"

Kabubot growled nodding, impressed with the boy's resourcefulness. Perhaps this will allow them a respite to coordinate better against their enemy outside.

(The Maximals have arrived!

Things are getting intense with every Legendary Pokémon fighting each other. In case you are all wondering, I had Lugia address Kyogre with "Sama" due to the fact that it is a gender-neutral honorifics from Japan/Nippon whether they are a male or female. I thought this was very appropriate title to use for certain Legendary Pokémon due to how everyone, especially Game Freak had listed the Legendary Pokémon as Genderless.

And yes, I added Mewtwo from M16, because I thought since three of the Legendary Pokémon were able to Mega Evolve on their own, so too would that Mewtwo be able to help, especially it's my theory of Kalos and Unova being in the same continent with each other. I also had Lugia do Whirlpool with Rayquaza's Twister, because I thought it'd be a good way combine both moves as a means to buy them more time while the Prison Bottle was being remade inside the tower.
