Hecate Reborn: The Legacy of Asakara, Between Warriors and Shadows

In a world where prophecies and ancient gods intertwine, the goddess Hecate is reborn as Asakara. She navigates a unique upbringing alongside the legendary Golden Saints of the 20th century. This fanfic reimagines Hecate's character, portraying her struggles, conflicts, and quests against formidable foes as she seeks her place in the battle between Athena and Hades.

Asakara: The birth of Hecate

Sixteen years ago, the Patriarch Shion of Aries observed in the stars the imminent arrival of the goddess Hecate to Earth in mortal form. As soon as he saw the radiantly glowing baby, he was confident that she was the earthly embodiment of the Greek goddess.

He was determined to ensure she would align with Athena in the upcoming Holy War. Patriarch Shion knows that, given her self-defining nature, the goddess could freely ally with Hades instead of Athena or stay out of the conflict altogether. The goddess represents an inherent duality, teetering between good and evil, light and shadow, and life and death.

Addressing the girl, Shion spoke: "Little Hecate, your destiny lies in championing peace and justice alongside Athena. I shall guide you to mentors who will help you master your ambivalent nature, allowing goodness and light to illuminate your path." Convinced that Hecate's proximity to the Sanctuary during her upbringing could foster a deep bond with Athena and her Saints, the Patriarch envisioned this as a crucial advantage in future battles.

Understanding Buddhism's emphasis on equilibrium and inner peace, he transported the young goddess to India to be raised alongside Shaka, the future Virgo knight, who was also a newborn baby. Once in India, the baby received a new name: Asakara. She was raised alongside Shaka as siblings, undergoing rigorous training steeped in the teachings of Buddha. Through this shared upbringing, they cultivated a profound connection with each other and with the Cosmos.

Shadows of the Past: The Remembrance of Aioros

The Sanctuary is covered in shadows of the past, marked by fierce competition where survival and power surpass loyalty and friendships. Aspiring Saints are engaged in intense combat training, bearing determination and aggression sculpted on their faces, with their Clothes adorned by scars and wounds.

In this fierce environment, 16-year-old Asakara stands with an impressive and energetic presence. Her robes, inspired by India, reflect the simplicity of Buddhism.

She is of medium height and slender. Her long, silky brown hair cascades down her middle back in a subtle natural wave, adding volume and movement to her appearance. Her face is heart-shaped, with high cheekbones accentuating her delicate features.

Her large, almond-shaped eyes are framed by long, thick lashes and hold a striking golden honey shade. Well-defined and elegantly arched eyebrows complement her small, straight nose, while her full, soft lips naturally curve into a gentle smile. Her flawless skin, with a smooth and even tone, highlights her natural beauty.

In a clearing, Asakara is training a group of dogs tasked with guarding the Sanctuary. As she affectionately pets one of the dogs, she notices Aioria has returned. "I'm glad you're back! How was the mission?" Asakara asks with excitement. Aioria, who is the same age as Asakara, has an athletic, muscular build and short, messy, light brown hair. He approaches with a tired expression and responds dismissively: "The mission... just another excuse from the Grand Pope to send me away. It seems like I've been serving as an errand boy lately."

Asakara cautiously raises a sensitive topic: "Have you thought about Aioros? Today marks ten years since..." Aioria, sighing and wearing a frown, answers sarcastically, "Since he tried to steal baby Athena and was chased by other Golden Saints to his death. Ah, because thinking about it will make me feel much better, won't it?"

Feeling guilty, Asakara tearfully apologizes, lamenting her inability to change the situation. Aioria, after acknowledging that he came across as somewhat of a jerk, comforts her and urges her not to carry the burden of guilt. He recognizes that the passage of 10 years has not been enough to overcome the pain.

As they attempt to move past the emotionally charged conversation, Aioria suggests a light-hearted activity: a mock fight with the trained dogs. Despite her initial disbelief, Asakara joins in with laughter, and the scene ends on a lighter note as the friends engage in a playful exchange. Subsequently, Asakara walks back to Virgo's temple accompanied by two of the dogs, her thoughts consumed by memories of Aioros, Aioria's older brother.

While she walks, Asakara recalls an extraordinary moment from her past, when she was about to turn seven years old—transporting herself to a sunny day when Sagittarius Aioros, a handsome 15-year-old boy with short brown hair and piercing brown eyes, stands with the younger Golden Saints: Leo Aioria, Scorpio Milo, Aries Mu, Aquarius Camus, Virgo Shaka, and Tauro Aldebaran.

Aioros had gathered them around a series of stones arranged before them and started explaining in a firm and calm voice: "To destroy a stone with your Cosmos, you must concentrate all your energy on a single point. Visualize your power flowing from the Cosmos within you, channel it through your body, and let it burst against the target."

The young Saints began to concentrate, one by one. They executed the technique with determined movements, and their stones burst into pieces before the force of their Cosmos. Aioros smiled, satisfied. However, when he turned to Asakara, he noticed something surprising. The stone before her had not exploded; instead, it had simply disappeared.

"Where is your stone, Asakara?" Aioros asked, surprised. "The stone went to another place where it can't be harmed," Asakara calmly and serenely responded. The other Golden Saints looked at Asakara in astonishment while Aioros felt admiration and curiosity. This young girl, a promise for the future, had achieved the unimaginable: not to destroy but to protect in a way no one could have foreseen.

At the end of the session, Aioros approached Asakara with a warm smile. He crouched down to be at her level, looking directly into her eyes, full of innocence and potential. "Asakara, what you have done today is extraordinary. The power within you can not only destroy but also protect. It is an incredible gift," Aioros said softly and sincerely. Asakara listened attentively, her heart pounding with excitement at the recognition.

"Always remember that a true Saint does not seek only strength and destruction but also understands the value of protecting and caring for others," Aioros continued. He gently touched Asakara's shoulder, reinforcing his words with this gesture.

Aphrodite's Garden: Quest for the Sacred Lotus

Asakara is lost in her thoughts when a shout interrupts her. Pisces Aphrodite appears visibly annoyed, accusing Asakara's dogs of destroying his roses again. Aphrodite has a slender, graceful build, long flowing blue hair, striking blue eyes, androgynous and ethereal beauty, and exceptionally handsome features.

Asakara apologizes, explaining that one of the dogs must have wandered into the rose garden while she was distracted. Aphrodite has been helping Asakara by making the dogs immune to the Demon Roses, and now he laments his decision as they have left his garden in ruins. He threatened to reverse the process and make the dogs vulnerable again.

Aphrodite, blackmailing Asakara, says: "Maybe you could help me with something. I need your help to get to the Sacred Temple of Shanti Divya in India." Aphrodite has been desiring to retrieve something from this temple, something of great value to the Sanctuary: a sacred lotus flower with enormous healing powers.

Aphrodite warns Asakara that the Ara Saint, a disciple of Asakara's brother Virgo Shaka, protects these flowers, which will represent a significant problem for her. Hesitating, Asakara accepts, closing the deal.

Finally, after a long travel, Asakara and Aphrodite arrive at the Sacred Temple of Shanti Divya in India. They cautiously enter the temple, surrounded by mystical energies and gardens filled with beautiful flowers. They enter a garden with a giant statue of a Smiling Buddha in the center.

Pisces Aphrodite stands in front of a lotus, holding it delicately while visualizing how this sacred flower will become the most precious jewel in his garden. Suddenly, a burst of golden energy interrupts Aphrodite.

Ara Ariya, in his shining Cloth, appears in the center of the temple, surrounded by an aura of serenity and determination. Ariya has a slender build, short black hair, and serene and focused eyes. His calm and composed presence radiates peace and wisdom.

Ara's Cloth features serene blue and pure white colors, adorned with intricate motives symbolizing the harmonious union of mind, body, and spirit, emanating a sense of holistic serenity.

"These flowers are under my protection. None will be taken as long as I am their guardian," Ariya firmly declares. Aphrodite seductively replies, "You have a brave spirit, Ariya. I like you, but this is inevitable". Asakara calmly reminds Aphrodite that she has kept their pact by bringing him to the temple but will not intervene in any fight. Aphrodite confidently responds, "Perfect, then I'll take care of it myself."

Aphrodite makes quick and precise movements, but Ariya manages to dodge them. Aphrodite challenges his enemy: "Interesting. But can you face this?" and executes his fighting technique !**Demonic Roses**¡. Aphrodite launches a flurry of red roses towards Ariya.

"I will not allow you to destroy the peace of this place!" Ariya firmly claims while extending both arms. A golden energy field unfolds, filling the air. A purifying white light envelops the red roses, turning them to dust. Aphrodite, looking shocked but quickly regaining self-control, states: "Your technique is similar to Shaka's. But don't be so proud; we are infinitely more powerful than you, Shaka, Myself, or any of the Golden Saints."

Ariya threatens Aphrodite: "With this light, I will banish any evil and torment within you; the serenity of your soul will immobilize you" while performing his attack !**Celestial Light of Purity**! Ariya's body begins to glow with an intense golden light. With a wave of his hand, he releases a burst of energy directed towards Aphrodite.

"Do you really think you can catch me? We, Golden Saints, move at the speed of light; I overtook you before your pretty eyes even blinked. Your slowness almost moved me. Surrender! The fate is already decided," Aphrodite laughs.

Ariya, with a serene but firm expression, responds: "True strength lies neither in speed nor in arrogance. The eyes of a saint who fights for justice do not yield to threats. These flowers have not yet decided their fate, and as long as I have breath, I will fight to protect them." This moral speech upsets Aphrodite and motivates him to execute his final attack: !**Bloody Rose**! A white rose pierces Ariya's heart.

Aphrodite explains as Ariya increasingly agonizes: "This white rose will gradually absorb the blood of your body until it becomes a red rose, and at that moment, your soul will reach serenity eternally," Aphrodite mocks sarcastically.

Firm and imposing, Asakara steps in, asking Aphrodite to stop as there is no need for such violence. She shows Aphrodite a lotus flower that she has carefully removed from the garden. Aphrodite approaches Ariya and removes the white rose, which is partially stained red. "Well, you've ruined the fun, so it's time to leave," Aphrodite complains, turning to Asakara.

Back at the Sanctuary, Virgo Shaka angrily intercepts Asakara and Aphrodite. Shaka speaks firmly, "How could you do such a foolish thing? You have betrayed everything we stand for."

Aphrodite steps forward defiantly; he will not allow Shaka to patronize him as if he were a child: "I care little for your moral judgment. I make my own decisions." Aphrodite angrily states.

Asakara, distressed, pleads, "Shaka, please, listen... please, let me explain..." as she tries to get closer to him. Shaka turns his back to Asakara; his voice is icy and indifferent, "I have no interest in listening to explanations."

Aphrodite, frustrated, crosses his arms and says: "Enough, Shaka. We are not your subjects for you to treat us so haughtily." Shaka looks out, disappointed, and glares at both, hoping they will someday understand the consequences of their actions.

Intertwined Destinies: The Call of Duty

Asakara is training the Sanctuary's guard dogs on a sunny afternoon when Shaka, the Virgo Saint, approaches with a determined but loving expression.

Asakara senses his presence and quickly straightens up, assuming a submissive, respectful posture. With his long golden hair, penetrating blue eyes, and calm and composed demeanor, Shaka emanates an aura of enlightenment and immense power in his golden Cloth.

Asakara has always been amazed by her brother's peaceful presence. She expresses her admiration and desire to achieve such calm, if only for an instant. Shaka responds solemnly: "Meditation is the path to the greatness of the soul. Only then we can protect this world with justice."

Sighing, Asakara admits: "I try, Shaka, I do. But my spirit needs freedom. Being still suffocates me." Asakara, petting the dog, looks visibly concerned. She fears that Shaka is still upset with her for stealing a sample of the Sacred Lotus.

Shaka persuades her: "Asakara, you can't go on like this, getting into trouble, without doing something truly profitable. The Sanctuary needs more of you." Annoyed, Asakara refutes him by saying that training the Sanctuary's dogs and handling the affairs of the Virgo Temple is not precisely doing anything. But Shaka states that playing with dogs and running a household isn't a significant contribution.

Shaka points out gravely that she hasn't claimed a Cloth despite her significant strength and training, emphasizing that she possesses the strength to surpass any of the aspirants to a Silver Cloth. Asakara insists that hiding her face forever isn't the right path for her.

Frustrated but affectionate, Shaka emphasizes Asakara's duty to Athena, concluding that she can no longer avoid her destiny. Asakara looks him in the eyes and responds, "My loyalty does not need to be demonstrated with a Cloth." Shaka exhales slowly and turns away, assuring her that the situation will have to change.

As Shaka withdraws, leaving Asakara surrounded by the dogs, the air is thick with tension, and the dogs' low growls intensify the solemnity of the scene.

Shaka is now in the Athena Temple, heading to the Pope's chamber. As he gets closer, his footsteps echo through the grand hallways of the Sanctuary.

The Patriarch is seated on his throne. He is dressed in a flowing white robe richly decorated with symbols of ancient power and a detailed, ornate mask covering his face. Only his fierce eyes are visible, radiating an aura of authority and mystery. His presence is commanding and intimidating.

Shaka, known in the Sanctuary as "the man closest to God," stands before the Grand Pope; each step breaks the silence in the regal chamber. He bows his head slightly in respect. "Virgo Shaka, why have you come?" the Pope asks authoritatively.

In a calm and serene voice, Shaka speaks, the timbre of his words blending with the chamber: "Great Master, thank you for receiving me. I have come to you with an exceptional request." Shaka explains his concerns about Asakara.

The Pope's frown is invisible beneath the intricate mask as he listens. The flickering lights cast shadows on the chamber walls. "Asakara is... unsettling, but I don't like wasting potential either," he says, his enigmatic eyes fixed on Shaka.

Shaka confidently asserts that Asakara's strength is comparable to the Golden Saints. He believes that if Asakara understands the value of their mission, she will be convinced to seek a Cloth suited to her strength and talent. Though warily nodding, the Pope agrees to send her on a mission accompanying the Scorpio Saint, stating consideration for Shaka. It's a chance for Asakara to prove her worth.

Scorpio Milo is summoned to the Pope's Chamber. As he opens the door and steps inside, he finds Virgo Shaka standing at the Great Master's side. The room is filled with an air of authority, and Milo approaches with curiosity and respect.

The Pope's voice carries the weight of command as he speaks to Milo, "Scorpio Milo, come closer. I have a mission for you." Milo listens attentively, his eyes reflecting the flickering light of the torches mounted on the walls.

"I need you to go to the region near Mount Carpathian," the Pope continues. "There are reports of unrest caused by Renegade Saints. The population is being intimidated. However, I could see in the stars that this might be more serious than just a few renegades. That is why I send you Scorpio Milo."

Milo accepts the task with pleasure, with the sense of duty reflecting in his eyes he responds: "Understood, Great Master. I will fulfill the mission."

The Pope's voice grows firmer: "But you will not go alone. Virgo Shaka's sister, Asakara, will accompany you." Silently filled with pride, Milo protests: "I don't need help, Great Master. I prefer to work alone." The Pope looks at him with disapproval, and Milo bows submissively, " I will do as I am commanded."

As Shaka and Milo leave the Pope's chamber, Milo complains: "I don't need help on this mission, Shaka. It's a simple task. Besides, I don't want a girl without a Cloth getting in my way." Shaka patiently encourages him, "Give my sister a chance. You will see how she will surprise you with her strength, talent, and wit."

As Milo made his way to Scorpio's temple through the marble staircases of the Sanctuary, Milo's thoughts drifted back to when he first met Asakara. The afternoon sun cast a warm golden glow on the majestic marble structures and illuminated the path gently. The air was heavy with the solemn beauty surrounding the Sanctuary, and Milo was filled with nostalgia and grandeur as he remembered his childhood.

The Great Pope's speech echoed in Milo's mind, infusing the air with a sense of destiny and determination. As the Golden Saints gathered around the Pope, the imposing marble pillars provided a breathtaking backdrop for the solemn occasion. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the Pope, with a solemn appearance, began his welcoming speech:

"Welcome, Golden Saints. Today marks the beginning of a promising era. Each of you has been chosen by destiny to protect peace and justice on Earth. In this sacred place, you will discover your true powers and the meaning of courage and loyalty. Though you are young, your hearts are strong, and your wills are unbreakable: Aries Mu, Tauro Aldebaran, Gemini Saga, Cancer Deathmask, Leo Aioria, Virgo Shaka, Scorpio Milo, Sagittarius Aioros, Capricorn Shura, Aquarius Camus, and Pisces Aphrodite."

While at the gathering, Milo's attention was briefly drawn to a young girl with brown hair and large, sparkling eyes. Standing at the edge, the serene atmosphere of the Sanctuary seemed to surround her, adding to her mystery and innocence. Intrigued, Milo couldn't help but speak to her: "You must be Libra," he said. Embarrassed, Asakara quickly hid behind a nearby pillar.

"The Libra Saint is currently fulfilling an important task outside the Sanctuary so that we won't see him around here," clarified the Patriarch. He then introduced the hidden girl as Asakara, Virgo Shaka's sister. "Although she is not a Gold Saint like you, she will train as if she were. But don't worry, she is as strong as any of you," he said in a reassuring and gentle manner.

Milo's senses were reawakened as he finally arrived at the temple of Scorpio. The imposing structure stood before him in majesty, casting a captivating presence against the late afternoon sun.

The next day, Milo arrives at the entrance to the Sanctuary very early, almost at dawn. He is wearing a simple, casual outfit, far from the formality of the Scorpio Cloth. He stands with his arms crossed, waiting impatiently.

Asakara cautiously approaches, unsure of what to expect from Milo. After all, her brother Shaka has bombarded her with instructions about how she should behave.

Milo greets her with a hint of arrogance: "I'm not sure why the Pope has paired you with me for this mission. It's not exactly a journey suited for someone without a Cloth." Feeling frustrated, Asakara answers: "It's not like I asked for it." Asakara explains that it was Shaka's idea.

Milo sighs critically and adds: "Shaka has always been... particular. But honestly, I think you'll be more of a liability." Asakara sarcastically thanks Milo for his "encouraging" words and "confidence" in her.

Both walk together in silence. Milo's face is clouded with concern as he steals a glance at Asakara. "Things have changed since 'it' happened," he remarks, choosing his words carefully. "You seem to only talk to Aioria these days; You've distanced yourself from the rest of us." He says with a slight frown. Asakara, looking surprised, replies, "What did you expect, Milo? Nothing has been the same since then."

Since Aioros's passing, everything has changed for Asakara. For a long time, she has been overwhelmed by grief over his loss, as she deeply respected and admired him. Everyone in the Sanctuary believes Aioros's guilt, but she has always maintained his innocence.

She cannot imagine how someone with all that compassion could have committed such a terrible crime. Whenever she expresses her doubts, she is accused of being a naive girl influenced by a sick admiration. She has grappled with the disbelief and frustration of being unable to convince others of Aioros's innocence.

After walking silently for a minute, the crunch of gravel under their feet echoes in the air, adding an eerie soundtrack to the tension between Milo and Asakara. Milo's gaze is firmly on the horizon, and Asakara's eyes remain on the ground. Her earlier nervousness is replaced by an underlying sense of confrontation, leaving her in the uncomfortable situation she so much feared.

Abruptly breaking the silence, Milo's serious voice addresses Asakara: "It's hard to imagine you spending all that time with someone who carries the blood of a traitor." Asakara's response is swift, her tone serious and unwavering: "Don't speak that way about Aioria. You have no right."

Milo hesitates momentarily, feeling the weight of the unspoken tension between them. He struggles to find the right words, knowing that his tone might come out harsher than he had initially intended. He also understands the importance of completing the mission.

Milo's voice softens as he says: "Remember the good times we had as friends? You, me... the pranks we played as kids." Asakara smiles slightly, "Yes, the days when the Sanctuary was a place of laughter." Milo looks at Asakara with hope: "Perhaps this mission will help us understand each other again." Asakara sighs, "Come on, Milo. The sooner we start, the sooner we finish." Asakara's coldness is palpable, clearly reflecting her upset over Milo's attitude toward Aioros and his condemnation of Aioria.

Milo's smile softens. "Alright. But don't expect it to be a cakewalk. The Carpathian Mountains are treacherous. You need to stay sharp." Resolute, Asakara responds: "Don't try to scare me. I'm ready for whatever comes."

Reunion: Asakara and Milo face their fears.

Later that day, when the sun is about to set, Asakara and Milo arrive at the outskirts of a small village. The village lies in a serene valley surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains. Since summer is nearing its end, the snow is melting, creating crystal-clear streams that flow down the slopes, feeding the rivers that meander through the valley.

The houses in the village are picturesque. They are built of wood and stone; many have gabled roofs covered with red tiles. The gardens are filled with wildflowers, adding touches of color to the landscape. Dirt roads are lined with tall, leafy trees. In the distance, extensive spruce and pine forests stretch as far as the eye can see.

Milo looks around, feeling a strange energy in the air. Asakara, serene but alert, agrees. They walk along the dusty path leading to the village. As they approach, they notice a figure hunched over next to a tree, watching them vigilantly.

As Asakara and Milo move forward, they can clearly see an older man with a weathered face and a cautious gaze who slowly rises as he sees them approaching; his modest clothes fluttering slightly in the breeze. With a hesitant gesture, the man approaches the newcomers. "Are you travelers?" he asks with a trembling voice, showing distrust.

Milo nods with a serious expression. "We are looking for information. We've been told there's trouble in this town. We have come to help."

The villager nods vehemently and desperately: "Yes, it's true. A warrior has arrived. He is terrorizing everyone, endlessly asking for the location of an ancient temple. No one dares to confront him."Asakara speaks firmly: "Where is he now?" The villager points with his trembling hand. "There, in the square."

Asakara and Milo exchange a knowing glance. Milo stands determinedly, gazing at Asakara. "Come on, Asakara. We can't let this go on like this," he says as he puts on his Scorpio Cloth. They enter the village and head towards the square.

As they approach, the crowd's murmur and the warrior's shouts become clearer. The villagers' fear is palpable. As Asakara and Milo get closer, they can distinguish the warrior—a man with an imposing and enigmatic presence. He has an athletic body full of scars; his hair is short and jet-black, and his eyes are as gray as a storm.

With a protective air, Milo indicates to Asakara that she should step aside and stay safe, before advancing determinedly towards where the warrior was mercilessly beating a villager. The warrior notices Milo's presence and begins to move towards him.

The warrior's Cloth is imposing, forged from a dark, shiny metal. The helmet covers his head with a visor in the shape of the constellation Orion and horns, symbolizing the stars Betelgeuse and Rigel. The breastplate, decorated with ancient runes emitting a blue glow, has an obsidian gem carved with the image of a sword in the center.

The warrior stands with a malicious smile and a defiant attitude. He questions the presence of an Athena Saint so far from the Sanctuary. He introduces himself as Orion Edrik and declares that he will be the one to defeat the Gold Saint.

Edrik faces Milo, his eyes burning with determination. He unleashes a calculated maneuver, and a surge of adrenaline pulses through his veins, overpowering his senses with the rush of battle. Milo's resolve remains unyielding as the weight of responsibility bears on his shoulders, amplifying each heartbeat to a deafening roar.

In a sudden burst of movement, Edrik extends his arms, casting forth an unexpected maneuver !**Ghost Vision**! Enveloping Milo in a thick mist with his technique. The mist distorts Milo's senses, plunging him into disorienting darkness. His pulse quickens and his breaths become shallow as he struggles to orient himself in the swirling abyss, a sense of suffocating dread weighing on his chest.

After the mist dissipates, Milo is stunned to see his friend Aquarius Camus brutally wounded. Shock and anguish wash over him, threatening to overwhelm his resolve.

Meanwhile, the villagers look on in dismay, their once peaceful surroundings shattered by the violent confrontation before them. The situation's urgency is palpable, and the fear and tension permeate the air as they seek refuge from the violent spectacle.

Startled by the haunting apparition of his wounded friend, Milo's focus momentarily wavers, and False Camus takes advantage of the distraction, casting !**Pavor Immobilization**! Dark energy encases Milo, rendering him immobile.

Alarmed, Asakara runs towards the fight. She sees Milo in danger and quickly turns on her Cosmos, preparing for combat: !**Om**! With this technique, she unleashes an energy hit towards Orion. The blow unbalances her enemy, but he quickly counterattacks with his technique !**Ghost Vision**!

In response, Asakara now faces a dark and ruthless version of herself, an evil and menacing doppelganger. The evil Asakara confronts her, declaring her weak and an easy target. Asakara, charging her Cosmos, uses !**Khan**! To activate her impenetrable defense, protecting herself from the attacks.

However, the evil Asakara unleashes a devastating technique: !**Dark Fire**! It surrounds Asakara with dark flames. In response, Asakara casts !**Demon Pacifier**!, an indirect attack that solemnly summons a horde of spirits to face the fire. Enraged, Evil Asakara cruelly threatens her opponent by ironically suggesting that it might be easier to finish off the Scorpio Saint first, given that he is defenseless, while she continues to defend herself cowardly.

While Milo is still immobilized, he watches in anguish as the battle unfolds. Evil Asakara launches a powerful attack !**The Orion Star**! A burst of luminous energy rushes toward him. Unwilling to let Milo get hurt, Asakara rushes to protect him, using her defensive technique !**Khan**! In the process of stopping the attack, she gets wounded and falls unconscious to the ground.

Furious and fueled by his intense Cosmos, Milo breaks free from his paralysis. With a fierce gaze fixed on his opponent, threatening, raising his hand, he directs to his enemy: "Listen well, Orion Edrik, this technique is called Scarlet Needles, an attack that inflicts a series of 15 precision hits on your vital points. Each needle causes indescribable pain and paralyzes a part of your body. As you have exhausted my patience, you will suffer 14 needles at the same time."

Scorpio Milo unleashes !**Scarlet Needles**!, inflicting precision hits on the evil Asakara, who quickly transforms back into Orion Edrik; Milo offers him a chance to redeem himself.

However, in pain but resolute, Edrik states that he would rather die than betray his goddess. "Which goddess?" Milo asks, but Orion Edrik remains determined to stay silent. Feeling a mix of respect and disappointment, Milo assumes his final combat stance: !* Antares Needle**!

After rushing to Asakara's side, Milo is relieved to find her awake, though still injured. Milo can notice her efforts to downplay the pain. With a mixture of relief and concern, Milo gently reprimands her, saying, "You're stubborn." He then carefully lifts her and walks away, leaving Edrik's body behind.

The Legend of Melinoe: The Shadow Conflict

Milo and Asakara are inside a modest inn room. Asakara lies on the bed while Milo finishes healing the wound on her right side. He gently presses the bandage against her skin, feeling the warmth of her body seeping through. As he meets her gaze, he notices pain in her eyes.

"There, you should feel better now," Milo said. "Thank you, Milo," Asakara responded kindly, looking at him with a soft smile. "It's good to know that you have this talent," she added in a grateful tone.

Impressed by her strength, Milo says, "It's nothing compared to what you did for me. The battle against that evil version of yourself was impressive." Asakara smiles faintly and murmurs, "I just did what I had to do."

Asakara's sacrifice deeply touches Milo. "You risked your life to protect me, and I'm grateful for that, but honestly, it wasn't necessary. I would have found a way to deal with Orion alone," Milo says.

Sighing softly, Asakara responds sarcastically, showing a mix of exasperation and sarcasm: "Sure, Milo." She feels put down.

Leaving her frustration behind, Asakara asks Milo why Orion's illusion turned into Camus. Milo hesitates momentarily, his eyes distant as he considers the question. "I think it was because facing a friend in combat would be my greatest fear," he finally responds, with a slight furrow in his brow.

As he watches Asakara, an ironic smile plays on his lips. "It's interesting that in your case, the illusion took the form of an evil version of yourself," he says, subtly shifting the conversation and redirecting the focus to Asakara's experience with genuine curiosity.

As she lay in bed, feeling the tiredness in her bones, Asakara tried to change the subject, "I'm exhausted... Thank you for everything, Milo. Seriously." Her body ached, and she desired the embrace of sleep. She closed her heavy eyelids and let out a long, contented sigh. Despite the lingering pain, she felt safe and secure in Milo's presence.

Milo sits to the side, watching over her with a protective gaze. He leans in closely as he whispers, "Sleep well..." His fingers caress her hair, feeling the delicate softness beneath his touch, a touch that lingers just a moment longer than necessary.

As Asakara dreams vividly, she sees herself standing before the imposing gates of the underworld. It's as if she is enveloped by fog and shadows and feels a dense, dark atmosphere surrounding her. Suddenly, a woman appears before her, holding a scepter wrapped in black energy. "Hecate," the woman addresses Asakara. "Melinoe, you must stop this madness," Asakara declares firmly. Melinoe expresses deep-seated anger and a desire for revenge, claiming that Chaos should rule the universe.

Tension rises as both women prepare their next moves, and the clash of energies creates explosions of light and darkness. As Melinoe refers, Hecate asserts that justice and balance shall prevail and invokes the names of Persephone and Zeus, suggesting a greater purpose.

Meanwhile, Melinoe's fury grows, and she exclaims vehemently about her mistreatment. As the dream unfolds, the clash between the two women intensifies, and Asakara feels that the world's fate depends on this confrontation.

In a final act, Hecate, determined, pulls out a chest covered with ancient inscriptions and magical symbols that glow brightly. Melinoe laughs, "That won't be enough to hold me back! No, you won't lock me up so easily!" With determination, Hecate seals Melinoe in the chest: "I, Hecate, goddess of the new moon and crossroads, seal you in this chest !**Nova Nyx**! The chest closes with a loud crack, and the inscriptions glow brightly before returning to their shadowy state, leaving Asakara dreaming restlessly, murmuring one name: "Melinoe."

The sun streams through the window, casting a warm glow across the room. Milo is asleep, perched on the edge of the bed, his head tilted down. Asakara, lying on the bed, her head resting in Milo's lap, gazes at him as he stirs awake.

"Asakara," Milo is startled, his face flushed with embarrassment, as he quickly stands up, almost stumbling. His expression shows a mix of nervousness and pride. "Good morning, how are you feeling?" he asks, his curiosity evident. "Incredibly well," Asakara replies optimistically.

Milo is intrigued. "You had some pretty restless dreams last night," he notes. "You were mumbling something... a name: Melinoe." "Melinoe?" Asakara's eyes spark with interest.

Inhaling deeply, Asakara remembers. "She is the goddess of ghosts and spirits, associated with madness and fear. When I was a child, Master Shion used to tell me that story. What if this dream was a premonition?" Asakara turns to Milo, seeking his reaction.

Milo raised an eyebrow as he replied, "A premonition, you say?" His tone was tinged with skepticism, and he couldn't hide a slight mocking undertone. Asakara nodded, and Milo reached out, theatrically placing his hand on Asakara's forehead as if checking her temperature. "You're sure you feel fine?" he asked, his manner insistent yet uncertain, with a hint of sarcasm.

Later, Asakara and Milo find themselves in the heart of the village, surrounded by curious villagers. Persistently, they seek to uncover the mysterious motives of the Knight of Orion.

One of the villagers shrugs his shoulders, puzzled, admitting, "I'm sorry, I don't know what you're talking about." Milo exchanges a glance with Asakara, conveying their shared frustration. Asakara gazes into the distance, pondering their next move. "Let's go to the church," she suggests, her eyes alight with determination. Maybe we can find some information there.

The duo makes their way to the church, its ancient structure looming mysteriously. Entering through the creaking doors, they're enveloped by an atmosphere of solemnity and enigma. As they tread the aisle toward the altar, Asakara's eyes are drawn to the walls adorned with a distinctly unorthodox mural.

"Look at that mural; it doesn't look Catholic," she remarks, her voice barely above a whisper. The mural depicts two enigmatic female figures surrounded by old cryptic Greek symbols.

With a slight smile on his lips, the pastor approaches them. "That mural was crafted by an unknown artist centuries ago," he shares. "There are many legends about it."

Milo, pointing at the mural, remarks, "That looks like a scene of combat. And the setting could be the door to the underworld." Asakara, with curiosity, begins to decipher the inscriptions. With a sudden realization, she exclaims, "Look, Milo! It says 'Melinoe'...it's a seal!"

The Temple of Shadows: The Encounter with the Destiny

The dense Carpathian Forest is shrouded in an eerie stillness as Milo and Asakara pass through the ancient trees. Milo appears uncertain but remains determined to trust Asakara, who radiates confidence. Milo's confusion shows as he asks Asakara about their purpose.

"The place we seek must be empty, without spiritual energy," Asakara confidently asserts, closing her eyes and concentrating on feeling the forest's energy. As the goddess Malinoe is associated with errant spirits and ghosts, Asakara believes that her seal must be hidden somewhere between the world and the underworld. Curious and relieved, she remarks, "This forest is full of spirit energy and ghosts. Come on, follow me." Milo, though confused, has decided to give her a chance as she ventures into the woods, trusting her instincts.

They venture further into the forest, ascending towards the Carpathian Mountains. The spiritual energy grows stronger as they advance, and Asakara senses the presence of renegade spirits awaiting their goddess's guidance.

Finally, after a long and treacherous walk, they arrive at an ancient temple hidden among the mountains. The temple is adorned with intricate mystical symbols and seems to be protected by powerful magical barriers. As they approach, Asakara feels a sudden emptiness, as if the spiritual energy that had guided them thus far has ended abruptly. She can't help but shiver as she remarks, "The spiritual energy stops here. This emptiness is almost overwhelming. Can you feel it, Milo?"

Milo, too, senses the change in the atmosphere. A palpable dark aura seems to envelop the temple, sending chills down his spine. With deep concern in his voice, he urges Asakara, "Remember, you are hurt. Whatever happens, you must not interfere in the fight. You have no Cloth, and that is dangerous. Although the power of your Cosmos is great, your body is vulnerable like any human being."

Asakara reluctantly agrees and withdraws to a safe place, watching with concern as the atmosphere becomes tense, charged with cosmic energy. A figure, Circinus Omar, stands calmly in the center of the ruined temple. He is a man of imposing stature, clad in dark indigo Cloth that fades to black, with a curved horned helmet and a menacing presence.

The silence of the night is suddenly disrupted by the soft sound of Milo's footsteps. Omar confronts Milo with a menacing look.

"So, fate has brought before me the murderer of my companion. I will finally be able to avenge him. I am Circinus Omar. And I swear you will pay for what you have done to Edrik," Omar declares with a fierce determination.

Milo, exuding confidence, retorts, "Your threats don't scare me."

Omar launches his first attack: !**Bind of the Shadow**! Dark energy manifests from his fingers, exerting an invisible pressure that drastically reduces Milo's agility. Intrigued, Milo senses his body's weight and questions, "What is this power? My body feels heavy..."

Fearless, Milo emits mental energy waves and attempts to immobilize Omar, exclaiming !**Restriction**! However, Omar seems barely affected, smiling mischievously and declaring: "Your efforts are useless, Scorpio. Destiny is already written. The seal of my goddess has weakened, and she has blessed me with her power.

A swarm made of shadows and sand surrounds Milo as Omar invokes !**Chisel of Despair**!, enveloping Milo in a time loop filled with suffering and confusion. Struggling to distinguish between the past and the present, Milo strives to concentrate and launches !**Scarlet Needles!**!, aiming directly at Omar's vital points. The needles pierce Omar's shield of shadows, but not enough to stop him.

Confident in his power, Omar conjures !**Glimpse of Doom**! Chains of dark energy burst from the ground, binding Milo and subjecting him to visions of his death at the hands of his friend Aquarius Camus.

As the vision unfolds before him, Milo prepares to unleash his attack !**Scarlet Needles**! In response, Camus, brandishing his icy fist, attempts to freeze Milo with his !**Aurora Execution**! The two powers collide as Milo defiantly declares, "It doesn't matter if I am wounded. I will go as far as my Cosmos takes me." Camus, equally determined, utters, "May absolute silence consume you until death devours you again."

In a last effort, Milo, aware that it is an illusion, concentrates all his energy and unleashes his most powerful technique: !**Antares Needle**! The scarlet needle illuminates the ruins, penetrating Omar's defenses and causing critical wounds. Omar, falling to his knees, can only mutter, "Impossible...! Fate... defeated by a Gold Saint...?"

Milo, standing firm, responds, "Fate may try to control us... but it will never control our will."

As Circinus Omar fades, Milo stands victorious, calculating the aftermath of the intense battle. However, despite the triumph, a lingering feeling of distress drags at Milo's heart. The illusion of the fight with Camus continues to haunt his thoughts, casting a shadow on his victory.

The Seal of Melinoe: The Confrontation of Fear

Asakara and Milo stand, panting heavily after the battle. Milo stands with a victorious yet tense posture. "We have finally defeated the enemy," he declares. Asakara, with eyes reflecting a mix of relief, responds, "Yes, now we can..."

Asakara suddenly halts in mid-sentence, her gaze fixated on an ancient chest of dark metal adorned with mysterious runes resting in the corner of the temple. The chest vibrates gently, emitting a dull, ethereal glow. As she attempts to approach the chest, Milo abruptly intervenes, his voice laced with a sense of urgency. "Watch out!"

The atmosphere in the temple intensifies, an eerie tension settling over the ruins. A mystical presence begins to materialize, and a tremor shakes the very foundation of the structure. Dust and stone fragments fall from the ceiling as the chest emits a brilliant, ethereal light, casting unsettling shadows across the room. The air grows unnaturally cold.

Asakara, surprised, gasps, "The chest...!"

A thick, shimmering mist seeps from the cracks of the chest, slowly enveloping it. Melinoe's energy permeates the atmosphere, infusing the air with an ethereal, almost suffocating presence.

With every muscle tensed, Milo remarks, "What is this feeling?"

The chest creeks open with a metallic groan, releasing the essence of Melinoe. A glowing aura hovers over the ruins, and a distant, chilling voice echoes like a pervasive whisper.

Melinoe's solemn and chilling voice permeates the air, "I can feel your fears, your doubts, your insecurities... fueling my strength."

Asakara and Milo sense an oppressive force on their shoulders, weighing them down and forcing them to their knees. Melinoe's voice, tinged with mockery, says, "Oh, pretty girl... Is it possible that you don't know who you are? How ironic— human nature is so desperately weak! It's so special to wake up like this and find yourself face-to-face with your great rival at such a disadvantage."

Asakara and Milo struggle to stand but are unable to resist the assault. Melinoe's voice mocks Milo: "Oh, Scorpio... does the fear of facing your friends weaken you? That glimpse that Circinus showed you was your future. You are right to fear it."

Melinoe's sinister smile is audible as she continues, "Brave warrior, how does the destiny, which you cannot control, weigh on your conscience? Today, I will make you a prisoner of your uncertainty. Imagine your deepest fear, but you will not fear to lose, nor will you fear to win. You will not know, and that will be your eternal torture."

Milo's mind becomes entangled in a painful knot of doubt. He feels like a prisoner in a mental labyrinth filled with the heartbreaking uncertainty created by Melinoe. The shadow of doubt consumes him at every turn, with no end in sight.

The haunting words of Melinoe linger in her mind as the goddess cruelly addresses Asakara: "You will never be at the level of the great Virgo Shaka, for whom your rebelliousness will always be a burden. He embodies only virtue, and you are a shame to him." The weight of these words feels like an impossible burden on her shoulders, threatening to drown her in self-doubt.

"Asakara... how much guilt for the death of Aioros." Melinoe's attack becomes even more intense as she continues, "You should be drowning in guilt, knowing that it was your irresponsible words that caused his untimely death. You are responsible for his demise, and that burden will haunt you for the rest of your days." Her words are filled with cruelty and inflict a deep wound on Asakara.

Asakara's mind is tormented by the relentless self-blame, haunted by the belief that her words triggered the fatal sequence of events. Every passing moment is a cruel reminder of the hypothetical alternate reality where she remained silent and Aioros lived. The weight of her perceived responsibility grows heavier with each tear that falls, binding her in a suffocating embrace of guilt.

Melinoe's voice turns cruel and even more sarcastic: "Milo, I pity you. She has always preferred others over you: First Aioros, the traitor; now Aiora, who shares his blood. It seems everyone is better than you. How pathetic, knowing she will never see you like she sees them." Milo casts a look full of pride and resentment towards Asakara. She responds through tears: "That's not true, Milo! Despite the time we've been apart, you've always been important to me." Melinoe's voice becomes mocking as she laughs: "Hahahahaha, this is entertaining!"

Asakara realizes the extent of Melinoe's manipulation and desperately tries to reason with Milo, sounding sincere as she pleads, "Milo, please don't listen to her, trust me!" Asakara unleashes her Cosmos. Milo looks at Asakara and raises his Cosmos to the maximum. With great effort, they both manage to move to launch their respective attacks. Milo, determined, utters !**Scarlet needles**! Asakara, equally determined, cries out !**"Nova Nyx**! An explosion of light and energy floods the scene as the two launch their combined techniques and move imposingly toward Melinoe.

Just as in the dream, Melinoe struggles and screams but is inevitably pulled towards the chest. Asakara crawls across the floor and tightly closes the chest. With her Cosmos turned on to the maximum and in a trance state, she says, "Melinoe, I seal you in this chest."

Metamorphosis: The Battle between Good and Evil

The Great Pope, in his characteristic robe and heavy mask, is seated on his throne, emanating his imposing authority. Scorpio Milo stands before him, reporting what happened on Mount Carpathian.

The Pope, intrigued, leans forward fascinated by Milo's story: "So, you're telling me that Asakara faced a distorted version of herself. That's particularly interesting. Why do you think this happened?"

Milo, mind wandering back to the encounter, speaks thoughtfully. "I think Asakara faced her greatest fear: facing herself. I'm guessing because when I faced the enemy, the enemy took the form of a great friend, which represents my greatest fear."

Milo chooses his words carefully, seeking to reveal as little information as possible. He feels a strange uneasiness as he describes Melínoe's sudden mention of the name of Aioros, the traitor. Those accusations against Asakara confuse him, and he wonders why she would feel responsible for Aioros' death. turning to the Pope, he stresses that the situation makes no sense.

The Great Master is worried; thankfully, his reactions are hidden under the mask. Asakara seems to know something about Aioros' death. The Pope is the only one to blame for his death, and he needs to make sure that this secret remains hidden, as well as his true identity.

The Pope's curiosity and skepticism are evident as he scrutinizes Milo. He is greatly surprised that Scorpio and a girl with no Cloth were able to restore the seal of a God, for to perform such a feat, great power is required. Milo's actions speak for themselves when he hands him the chest containing the seal. The Pope takes the chest with authority and dismisses him with a gesture.

The Pope is left alone as the door closes. Deep in thought, he looks at the chest and mockingly and ironically mutters: "...her worst fear, facing herself..." followed by a wry chuckle. "That, I understand better than anyone else."

As the Pope is momentarily engulfed in a wave of contemplation. His thoughts wander through the maze of his memories. For a moment, he is transported back to those days of his past as Saga.

A voice inside the Pope's mind warns him that he will not allow him to cause trouble; he will not condemn a young girl to his fate. Annoyed, the Pope abruptly interrupts and, challenging the voice, asks: "What will you do about it?". Saga is determined not to allow the Pope to go ahead with his plans and vows to do everything in his power to stop him. Grimly, with a half-smile, the Pope declares that he will do as he pleases, reminding Saga who is the one who has controlled them for the past ten years.

The Pope closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. His mind begins to wander, remembering his internal struggles. As he ponders, he feels tension rising in his chest, the memory of an inner battle. The air feels heavy, charged with the conflicting energies of his two personas.

Saga's gaze was full of steadiness, his hardened face hiding the deep anxiety that plagued his mind. The wind was blowing in the Gemini Temple, carrying a haunting melody, as if nature was witnessing the rivalry unfolding inside the house. Saga is engaged in a heated argument with his twin brother Kanon about the decision of Pope Shion to appoint Sagittarius Aioros as his successor.

Saga remembers that confrontation vividly. He could still feel the weight of the air when his brother, Kanon, confirmed his inconceivable plan to kill Athena. Disbelief gripped him as he struggled to comprehend his brother's sinister proposition. His heart raced, unable to accept the betrayal of his own blood.

The conversation still echoes in his mind. He can still hear Kanon speaking seductively, trying to tempt him to participate in his treacherous plan. The words bounced around in Saga's head; he immediately felt a surge of exasperation and disbelief at Kanon's audacity. The conflict within him intensified as Kanon, in defiance of his own identity, accuses him of harboring the same darkness as he does in his heart.

Saga's inner turmoil was palpable as he dealt with Kanon's constant accusations. He could feel the emotional and psychological battle within him, torn between his noble responsibilities as a Saint and the disturbing revelations about his nature.

The argument continued to escalate until it reached a climax when Saga and Kanon simultaneously unleashed their powerful technique: !**Galaxy Blast**!, giving rise to a whirlwind of force as they engaged in a fierce and relentless battle. Saga's calm and calculated movements contrasted sharply with Kanon's relentless and passionate attacks.

As Kanon fought persistently, Saga couldn't help but feel annoyed by his brother's emotional approach: "Your emotions cloud your judgment, Kanon. You will never match my prowess if you are driven by blind rage," Saga commented with disappointment and sadness.

Trying to surprise Kanon, Saga tried to use his technique !**Another Dimension**! Anticipating Saga's move, Kanon quickly counterattacked with his technique !**Golden Triangle**!, sending Saga's attack to another dimension.

Enraged, Kanon unleashed an illusion, creating multiple clones of himself that surrounded Saga. Confident, Saga reminded Kanon: "No matter how much you try to escape, brother, you will always be a shadow of me, the true Gemini. Everything you have achieved, you have done at my expense, deceiving yourself at every turn."

Sensing the source of his brother's enraged Cosmos, Saga immediately counterattacked with a refined version of his technique: !**Other Dimension**! With this attack, Saga manipulated the space to open a portal to Cape Sunion and settled Kanon's fate. With a final burst of cosmic energy, Saga managed to weaken Kanon enough to secure his confinement: !**Dimensional Lockdown**! announced Saga as he sealed the dimension around Kanon, ensuring that his escape would be impossible.

Desperate, Kanon begged to be released, but Saga was immovable: "Kanon, you must remain there until your evil mind disappears and Athena forgives you."

"We are blood brothers. Yes, I am evil, then so are you, do not deceive yourself. Someday, your evil will control you." Kanon burst out defiantly, his words cutting the air like a knife. Saga could feel the weight of the accusations, his fierce gaze drilling Kanon.

The memory of Kanon's manipulation still lingered in Saga's mind. His voice echoed in the depths of her consciousness, mocking and unrelenting: "The more you deny it, the more you let your true self show. His words echoed in his head, generating a nagging fear that would not leave him alone. "Damn it, Saga! You're evil; remember that. Haha. You're wasting your power; it'll weigh on you if you keep this up. I'll kill Athena myself, and I'll have control of the Earth. Then it will be too late for you to change your mind. Too late!" he heard Kanon shout as he walked away without looking back.

On his way back to the Sanctuary, in a moment of deep despair, Saga saw himself reflected in a pool of water. What he saw shocked him deeply: his eyes, normally full of determination and kindness, now had a haunting, eerie glow. His reflection had returned his gaze with a wicked smile that had twisted his features. Enraged, he kicked violently at the puddle.

The darkness had consumed Saga, leaving him helpless against its relentless dominance. Desperate to free himself from the suffocating embrace of his evil alter ego, he unleashed an anguished scream that resounded as an overwhelming testimony to the power of his inner demons.

The Pope, still immersed in his memories, is now transported back to the pivotal events that occurred ten years ago at Star Hill. The memory of being ignored by Pope Shion again ignites a storm of frustration and anger within him. The vivid memory of Pope Shion's unwavering refusal to name him his successor fuels his fury.

Fury rises in his mind as he relives the powerful emotions of that moment. Saga vividly recalls delivering the decisive blow to Shion's heart as he shouted, "Die!".
