The night was heavy and the air was alive
Carried away by a moonlight shadow

Kagome sat on a log overlooking a silent pond and waited for Sesshomaru to finish explaining. When he did he demanded they stay back while he spoke to Kagome and so he found her sitting there, under the star and moonlit sky.

"Miko,"

Kagome stood and looked at him, "It's you, but the you now and not the you then,"

"That is one in the same Miko,"

She looked away "But it was a long time ago,"

"Not for you and only an instant for me,"

She looked at him in his eyes "Is it weird for you?"

"No, It is a memory I do not recall not having," Though he knew and understood what happened.

"You kissed me,"

"More than once,"

"Sesshomaru-" She was cut off as he did it again. Moving his strong jaw, tasting her as she melted into him. His hands holding her face, his thumb pushing her lip down more so he could devour her mouth.

They broke with heavy breaths,

"What, what is this?"

"Do you need words woman or shall I continue to show you just what it is?"

Her heart skipped a beat and his mouth took hers deep again as she pushed her against him, one free hand going to her ass, pushing her hips into his so she would have no doubt where this night was going.

He broke the kiss again and took the skies.

Her friends all came out and looked up as a shadow took to the skies, carrying her away to a hidden place.

"Where are they going?" Sango asked,

Inuyasha inhaled, "He is taking her away,"

"Why?" Sango asked,

"To mate with her," Miroku said sternly,

Sango looked back. It was hard for them to wrap their minds around it. They had no memory of death, only what was told to them by him. That she had died and gone back to save them, had saved them and somewhere along the way he had come to care for her, missed her, wanted her.

So Kagome was carried away and laid down and kissed more as clothes where shed. The weight of his need was heavy and strong and the sounds he made drove her over the edge of a cliff she had no idea she was even on. He made her feel alive, the power between them was electric.

His hips moved as they did a dance as old as time itself and the past and present faded together as their world, and power, and love collided and they were both carried away in mated bliss.

Only this mattered now. She had saved him so that he could mate, and love and she would carry his children. In saving them, she saved herself and the jewel and its four souls were set free.
