Padmé stepped out of her ship, she was dreading this moment the assaination her master planned for her she was utterly confused why he wanted it. As she stepped out of her ship the explosion went off in front of her she was hoping Cordé would make it out alive though the odds of that were relatively low. She ran up to the ship, smoke obscuring her vision she could feel Cordés force presence fading slowly she ran over to her body guided by the force, she kneeled in front of her body but before she could speak Cordés force signature faded from the galaxy. Padmé screamed in anger and sadness letting the dark side seep out from around realizing that she would give herself away, she quickly hid her force presence masking it.
Padmé signaled to the rest of the survivors to run.

Senate
"Order! There will be Order in this senate! The movement to comision a Grand Army of the republic takes precedence over bickering" Mas Amedda spoke with authority in his voice "Honorable colleagues of the Galactic Senate please excuse me but I have received terrible news of an assaination although currently unconfirmed reports have labeled esteemed Senator Amidala having come out of a ship that has been destroyed!" Although he knew this wasn't true Palpatine knew it would be of great use to have a senator with an attempt on their life support him in the establishment of an army that would be subsumed by the clone army. "This is a terrible situation for all of us but especially for me. Before I became chancellor I had close working relations with the senator whilst she was Queen. She was a great woman who saved and fought for justice on my planet but also for the galaxy in general. Her service to us all will not be forgotten like me. She was a fervent believer in justice and democracy. We need peace not war to crush the separatists, an army would simply ensure protection in case of rebellion!" Silence shook the senate. The chancellor's words rang true to many of the senators, something about his words seemed quite compelling. "My noble colleagues, I concur with the Chancellor. We must avoid war at all costs and an army is the way to do so!" Padmé announced much to the surprise of the Senate just like the Chancellor's speech, something felt very compelling about Padmés words.
"It is with great joy that we now have Senator Amidala speaking to us!" Palpatine spoke with faux joy. "Less than an hour ago an assaination attempt was made on my life. My body double and many others were ruthlessly and needlessly murdered. Although I was the target, the most important thing is this was done to sabotage the passage of this bill. I have led the support of this bill and was the one to put this to the senate. I belive that there is a separatist among us who will stop at nothing to snuff out the passage of this bill." The senate shouted out in shock and confusion many among them opposed the bill despite this Padmé continued her speech. "I warn you all if we fail to pass this bill there will be a separatist uprising and war will follow. I have experienced war on my planet and the main supporters of the secession are the trade federation whom invaded Naboo! We must wake up! If we show the separatists weakness violence will follow! Many will lose their lives and freedom. Opposing this decision will most certainly put an end to the republic as we know it! I pray that you all do not let idealistic visions of the Republic push you into making a disastrous decision. Vote for this security measure or there will be a secession and declaration of war! Does anyone here want that? I doubt you do!" Padmé spoke her passion sang clear. "Due to the seriousness of the situation and lateness of the hour we will take these matters up tomorrow."

Chancellor's office
"Master Windu unfortunately for us I think that we must establish an army for the republic. I know that you said there are not enough Jedi to fight a war and unfortunately you're right." Before Windu could respond the door opened Padmé entered with Binks Typho and Senator Organa. Yoda turned to Padmé and spoke. "The force is strong with you Senator, seeing you alive brings warm feelings to my heart." Padmé smiled before turning more serious. "Thank you master Jedi, do you know who is behind this attack?" Windu was quick to respond. "Our knowledge points to disgruntled spice miners on Naboo." Padmé was quick to speak up. "I wish that were true, but I think Count Dooku is behind it as he is the leader of the separatist movement." Padmé was careful not to out him as a sith yet but seem believable giving the Jedi could help her be free of Sidious. "He was a Jedi, he couldn't be like that." Padmé, not wanting to elaborate further, spoke cryptically "I just know something I just do." Palpatine frowned and spoke up "May I suggest that Senator Amidala be placed under your protection, possibly someone she's familiar with, possibly Master Kenobi and Knight Skywalker? Knight Skywalker is highly skilled" Padmé spoke up. "I would prefer not but I will concede as that is your will Chancellor."

Padmés Apartment
"It's great to see you again milady." Obi-Wan spoke respectfully. "Thank you Master Jedi although it's nice to see you again although I think your presence here is unneeded." Padmé moved over to Anakin. "You've grown much taller and more dashing, It's good to see you safe after that incident" Anakin held back a blush and responded in kind. "You have certainly grown more beautiful and you feel shorter than before." Anakin couldn't help but reciprocate the compliment she was gorgeous he couldn't deny that. "You won't notice a thing senator , I promise that." Obi-Wan chimed in. "I don't need security, I need an investigation." Padmé said slightly annoyed Sidious wished for the Jedi to investigate this so Padmé thought she could at least nudge them in the right direction. "I wish to talk to Anakin in my quarters. I think it's best if we catch up." "Padmé, I just wanted to ask, why choose us not someone as powerful as Master Windu or as Wise as Master Yoda?" Padmé was surprised, from what she had been told by Sidious Anakin was highly prideful, surprisingly Sidious shared his insights on Anakin with Padmé. "Well it's simply actually the chancellor suggested you for your familiarity with me and your apparent skill." Anakin smiled, the chancellor always seemed to have his back. Before Padmé could respond a Probe droid breaks the window and begins firing with a blaster Anakin hastily blocks the shots with his lightsaber Obi-Wan runs in and leaps onto the droid. "Stay here Padmé ill take a speeder down to catch Master."

Pov Anakin
Coruscant Streets
Anakin jumps into his custom built speeder and traces Obi-Wan's signature to see the droid crash into a wall and explode and Obi-Wan falls with it, he quickly follows him with the speeder and Obi-Wan falls onto the speed, Obi-Wan crawls into the passenger's seat. "What took you so long?." Obi-Wan says as Anakin weaves through traffic. "I almost got lost in the traffic Master." Anakin says as they race through the sky but before they can continue their conversation an unknown speeder slams into them knocking Anakin onto the ledge off the speeder Obi-Wan quickly moves over into the driver's seat and follows pursuit the unknown entity fires at Anakin who quickly responds by jumping onto their cockpit and igniting his lightsaber and stabs it through the engine he holds onto the speeder for dear life as it falls to the ground. Obi-Wan follows him down. Before Anakin could recombobulate himself from the crash the man jumps out of the speeder and runs off into a bar. "Kriff" Anakin swears they had gotten away when Obi-Wan appears next to him. "WeLl? What are you doing? Let's follow them." Anakin takes off into the bar following them and Obi-Wan trails behind, they finally arrive in a one way alley and the man backs off into a corner before hitting a wall. Anakin ignites his lightsaber and holds it to his neck. "Who hired you?" Anakin questions. "It was just a job!." The bounty hunter answers in fear. "Tell me!" Anakin shouts in anger, his lightsaber now burning against the flesh of their neck. "It was a bounty hunter name-." Before they could answer, a dart flies into the bounty hunter's neck killing them. "It's a toxic dart." Obi-Wan says, pulling it out of her neck.

Padmés Apartment
"Vice senator Binks, I count on you to be my representative in the senate." Padmé says as she finishes packing her bag. "It's a great honour for youssa to give meesa this honour" Jar Jar says as he bows and leaves the room to Padmé and Anakin. "I don't like the idea of hiding." Padmé sighs out. "Trust me now that the council has ordered an investigation. It will be sorted soon." Anakin spoke authoritatively. "It's not like I have worked for a year to stop a galactic civil war." Padmé sighed again. "Sometimes we must let go of our pride and do what's required of us." Anakin spoke, trying to be wise. "I don't think you know what youre talking about, maybe think of what you say first." Anakin stares into Padmés eyes how would it feel to slide his hands across her body undre-. "Stop staring at me, I know what you're thinking." Padmé says snapping Anakin out of his fantasy. "I didn't know you had the force milady." Padmé frowns. "I'm sorry Padmé, I went too far."

Coruscant spaceport
Before Anakin and Padmé depart, Obi-Wan waves goodbye to them. "Anakin stay on Naboo don't do anything suspicious." Obi-Wan speaks cautionarily. "Will do master." Anakin responds before the door closes on Padmé, Anakin and Artoo.

Freighter/Hyperspace
"Mum, no, no NO!" Anakin shouts before waking up and realizing where he is. "I'm sorry I have nightmares sometimes." Anakin says in a conciliatory tone to a shocked Padmé. "I'm sorry to hear that it sounded like one." Padmés hands drifted through Anakin's hair, relaxing him. "Im looking forward to seeing Naboo soon, it's a beautiful place." Anakin said changing the topic he was clearly uncomfortable about his nightmare. "I am too, I love it there. I just wanted to ask what its like to be a Jedi?" Padmé asked to understand Anakin's boundaries. "Its hard not being able to love and see my mother as attachments are forbiden.
