Chapter 1: Waking the Fallen
A/N: Welcome to my story. Everyone is about 17, 18 they are all juniors. I don't own Pokemon or its characters!
Also I will use band references and music as well in which I also don't own rights to cool thanks! Also please read the authors note at the bottom.
Friday night had finally arrived and for the students at Pallet Town high it only meant one thing.. The weekend! Friends were making plans with each other and the excitement roared throughout the entire school. Of course, everybody had their own little clique. It was normal for jocks to hang out with each other and the popular crowd of course. There were also the nerds, the theater kids, band geeks etc and of course the metal heads also known as the "emos" or the "goths" according to the jocks. Basically, the kids that walked around school who wore band tees and ripped jeans instead of khakis and polos. The four boys had a group of their own known as "Rejected Alliance" which was also their band name!
"Friday night is here Ketchum" said a very excited Gary Oak as he and his longtime friend walked out onto the catwalk.
"Yeah and you know what that means?!" said the raven haired boy
"Concert night!" screamed Ash and Gary in union!
The band was able to get a gig at a new nightclub that just opened called "Rocket Track" a club dedicated to music from all genres. The main goal was to show the unique musical talent that the townsfolk had. Gary's granddad was the owner and of course the band's biggest supporter.
The band consisted of 4 members:
Ash Ketchum - Lead vocals, Keyboard, Lead Guitar
Gary Oak - Rhythm Guitar, Backup vocals, Rapper
Paul Shinji - Bass
Brock Harrison - Drums
"Fuck yeah can't wait! What do you think Ash? Should we preform our new song?" asked Gary
"Totally I mean if you can get the rapping part down in time! I got my screams ready to go." said Ash ecstatically
"You know I'm always ready to go Ketchum. How many songs are we doing again?" asked Gary
" Four" Ash continued "But I think we'll save the new one for last. I talked to Paul and Brock and they're just as excited as we are! Sound check is at 6 and the show starts at 8 so better get going to have everything ready and don't be late Oak!" Ash said as he began running home
"Yeah yeah whatever I'll be there before you. Later Ash" and with that Gary went home to prepare
At the football field cheer leading / football practice had just ended
"All right ladies, that was a good practice. Since it is the weekend, you're all free to go early today." said Misty the team captain.
"Finally, the weekend is here" said a familiar blued hair teen "Are we still on for tonight May? I really wanna see what this new club is about plus I hear the music is great"
"Ohh I don't know Dawn. You know how Drew gets when I go out. He doesn't really like it" May said worriedly
May and Drew had been together for a year now. At first things were smooth and simple. He would always give his girlfriend roses, would always take her on dates and be a true gentlemen but about eight months in, it just seemed like he was too busy with his sports that he didn't have much time for her anymore but that didn't stop him from being the insane jealous type.
"Come on May you're going with me and Misty to check out the music scene not boys-" said Dawn before she was interrupted
"Well she's not but we are right Dawn?" said an excited Misty
"Hell yeah!" she responded
"Come on May let loose for once." Misty exclaimed "You're allowed to have fun with your friends now lets go plus I hear some of pallets very own students are preforming too"
"Well it does sound fun... Alright what time?" May asked
"Yay! I'll pick you up at 7" said Dawn
"Alright I'm gonna go tell Drew see you tonight girls" and with that May made her way towards the locker rooms to wait for her boyfriend.
Drew comes out and greets his girlfriend with a kiss
"Hey babe sorry I took long." Drew said as he pecked Mays lips
"No worries! Drew so the girls and I wanted to check out this new nightclub is it alright if I go? I just wanna go for the music" She asked politely
Drew hesitantly answered "Of course.. but if I find out you were flirting with guys, we're through!"
"Drew it's been a whole year! God I would've thought you'd trust me at least a little bit by now" May said as she crossed her arms in disappointment
"Honey I trust you with every ounce of my being." Drew began pinching her cheeks roughly "But if I found out you're going behind my back I'll fucking kill your other lover and that's a promise."
"Ouch Drew you're pinching too hard!" May said as hit his arms to make him let go
"Sorry, guess I don't know my own strength... Okay you can go but remember what I said!" He screamed
"Okay okay.." she said startled
Later that night sound check ended, and the boys were backstage ready to rock!
"We look bad ass!" Paul said
"Fuck yeah we do!" screamed Ash
The girls walked in not knowing what to expect.
"Woah this place is packed. Let's get a good spot in the front and hurry the shows about to start" Misty told the girls as they squeezed their way to the front.
The band wore their signature black jean jackets, black jeans and their favorite band tees. Paul wore a Slipknot tee with their 1999 self-titled album cover on the front. Brock wore a Follow the Leader T shirt an album from his favorite band Korn. Gary wore a Ride The Lighting tee an album from 1984 by Metallica and finally Ash.. instead of a jacket Ash wore a black vest with his signature black cap backwards. He wore a tee shirt with the album cover for Nightmare an album by Avenged Sevenfold. Together they were Rejected Alliance and they were ready to blow the roof off the club!
A/N: And that is the end of chapter one. I know I left it on a little cliff hanger but trust me it will get better as it goes. I read the fanfic called Hell's Outcast and was immediately inspired to write my own. Check it out when you can I highly recommend. There is no Pokemon in this story so feel free to skip this story if you don't like it. I apologize in advance for the spelling errors. I made Drew the crazy jealous type because I felt like it just fit him. Also, if you don't like the bands/songs I use well suck it up it ties into the story. Thanks for reading Chapter 2 coming soon!
