The Krakken
It was night time at a foggy forest. There was a large lake surrounded by trees
"Cannonball!" Ben shouted as he leaps into the lake while making a splash
He then resurfaces. Gwen and Zach were watching him from a pier
"Nice splash, buddy!" Zach said
"Thanks, Zach" Ben said
From afar, the light blue Anodite was watching them from behind a tree
"Judges score... yes! Perfect 10! Yeah!" Ben said before imitating cheering fans "The crowd loves him!"
" A perfect dweeb is more like it." Gwen said clearly unimpressed
"Come on, dive in!" called Ben
"Please! Who knows what nasty, slimy things are slithering around in there." Gwen said as she shines her flashlight on the lake's surface and on Ben "I rest my case."
"Oh come on, Gwen. It can't be that bad" Zach said
"What's the point in camping by a lake if you're afraid to get wet?" Ben asked
He then splashes water at Gwen. Zach steps to the side to avoid this
"Knock it off midget!" Gwen said before walking away
Suddenly, Ben begins to splash around in the lake
"Hey! What's - Happen-? " Ben asked before sinking underwater
"Ben!" Zach yelled
"Very funny Ben... I'm not falling for it. " Gwen said as she walked back and shines her flashlight on the surface "Ben?"
Suddenly, the water begin to bubble and a giant swamp like monster comes out growling. Gwen screamed at the sight of it and fell to the ground. Her flashlight shines on the creature revealing it to be Four Arms covered in seaweed.
"Ben?" Gwen said in annoyance
Zach then begins to burst out laughing
"We gotcha!" he chortled
"You should have seen the look on your face!" Four Arms said "Ah, priceless!"
The light blue Anodite giggled as she saw this
"It is kinda funny" she said
"You two are so busted when I tell Grandpa!" Gwen yelled as she storms back into the Rust Bucket
Four Arms and Zach both laughed as the Tetramand removed the seaweed
"We sure got her, did we?" Zach asked
"Yeah. I can't believe she fell for it! A monster in the lake! How dumb can you be?" Four Arms asked
Suddenly, something bubbled from behind Four Arms and a gigantic creature emerged from the surface. The light Anodite gasped as she saw this. Four Arms and Zach both looked at it in shock.
The mysterious monster grabbed Four Arms with it's tendril and hurls him across the lake. He lands in the water
"Ben!" shouted Zach
Four Arms gets up to the surface before getting pulled down by the monster's tendril.
"Hang on, buddy! Help's on the way!" Zach said as he activates his Omnitrix "Got to pick an alien that can swim"
Scrolling through the dial, he sees a silhouette of a humanoid fish like alien
"Bingo" he said
Zach slam down on the face plate. He then transforms into a humanoid anglerfish like alien. He has white scales and black leotard. The Omnitrix symbol is on his chest. He then dives into the water. Underwater, Four Arms was pulled down by the monster's tentacles. He gasped as he saw the monster's eye. Zach swims over, his legs is now a tail. He then used his sharp teeth to bite on the tendrills to free Four Arms. Zach then grabs his friend and they swam up to the surface.
"Thanks, buddy" Four Arms said as he inhales some air
"No problem" Zach replied
"We gotta tell Grandpa and Gwen" Four Arms said
They got out of the water and raced to the Rust Bucket. They slammed it open while waking Gwen, Grandpa, and Arsen
"I was just attacked by a giant lake monster!" Four Arms yelled
Gwen throws a pillow at his face
"Hello? Current events? You already got me with that one." she said
"But I'm not kidding this time!" Four Arms protested
"He's telling the truth. I had to rescue him from the lake. We know what we saw" Zach added
"Come on champs, joke's over." Max said
"But..." the two boys said
"Get some sleep, remember we have an early day tomorrow for our fishing trip." Max said
The Omnitrixes timed out and the two boys were back in their human forms
"He has a point, boys. We will talk about it in the morning" Arsen said
"Okay" sighed Zach
He and Ben went inside the Rust Bucket while closing the door
Ben, Zach, Max, Gwen, and Arsen were walking along the coast. Max was holding a fishing rod
"No, really! It was humongous with these red glowing eyes-!" Ben explained
"I'm sure it was just some kind of big fish, that's all." Max said
"Yeah, so give the mega-fish story a rest, will you 'Captain Dweeb'?" Gwen told her cousin
"Are you sure that you two saw something down in the lake?" Arsen asked from Zach's pocket
"I am sure, Arsen. It was really big and it has tentacles on it's face. I had to turn into an anglerfish alien to rescue my friend" Zach explained "By the way, what type of alien species did I turned into?"
"I believe that anglerfish alien you turned into is called a Piscciss Volann. They are native to the planet Piscciss. Not only can these aquatic aliens swim underwater, but their large jaws and sharp teeth can cut through even the thickest of steel" explained Arsen
"Interesting" Zach said "I think I'll call this form: Torrent-Strike"
Ben walks ahead and sees a bucket of worms. With a mischievous grin, Ben shoves a handful of worms in front of Gwen making her scream.
"Breakfast?" he asked
"Eugh- Ben, gross..." she said in disgust "What's with the bucket of slimies?"
"Bait" Max answered
"Yeah- Well, I think I'm gonna pass on the fishing thing, I'll stay here and catch some sun instead!" Gwen said as she walks away
"Okay, but you don't know what you're missing!" Max called
"I'm pretty sure I do..." Gwen replied back
"Will she be okay?" Arsen asked
"I'm sure Gwen will be fine" Zach replied
The light blue anodite saw this from atop one of the building
"There's nothing wrong with some rest and relaxation. But it is also more interesting to see those boys fish" she said as she looks at Ben and Zach
The boys and Max turn to see a man on a boat
"Captain Shaw?" Max asked
"Who wants to know?" the man asked
"I'm Max Tennyson, and this is my grandson, Ben. And this is Zach Chase. He's with us " Max said "We chartered your boat today for a fishing trip"
"Well what're you waiting for, an engraved invitation? Get aboard, I ain't got all day." Shaw said in a rude way
Ben comes aboard with Zach following behind. Max was looking concerned before following after them. The boat then sailed away while the light blue anodite followed after them while being invisible.
Captain Shaw's ship sails slowly through the lake. Ben and Zach both donned life jackets while onboard
"Anything... interesting out there to catch today?" Max asked
"More than you can imagine..." Captain Shaw answered before noticing Ben sticking his head over the boat while Zach is looking out at the lake "Looks like your boy's using his breakfast as chum."
"Ben? You feeling okay?" Max asked his grandson
"Yeah, I'm just keeping an eye out for the lake monster. That thing's not taking me by surprise this time!" he replied
"Me too! I know it's out there somewhere" Zach added
"Hmmm" the light Anodite hummed as she heard them from atop the roof of the ship
Ben then noticed a monstrous silhouette
"There it is!" he cried
But when they got closer, it was revealed to be a log with a box on it
"It's just a tree branch. With a box on it?" Zach said confused
"Oh, my bad." Ben said
"Now, boys. This is a fishing trip, not a monster hunt." Max said
"It's called 'the Krakken'." Captain Shaw spoke up
"Whoa. You know about it?" Ben asked
"It's my business to know about it." Shaw replied as he passed a picture to Ben
The two boys looked at the photograph.
"Wow. I thought the Krakken was suppose to resemble a giant octopus" Zach commented
"Ye be mistaken, matey. It's an entirely different creature" Captain Shaw said "I've been on it's tail for years. Folks say my rudder's not right."
"Why doesn't that surprise me?" Max wondered as he arched an eyebrow
"Sightings go back hundreds of years, on this very lake. Some say it's a myth... not me!" Captain Shaw explained "I could take you to a spot where I personally laid eyes upon the beast. That is, if you've got the stomach for some real adventure!"
Ben and Zach turn to Max with smiles on their faces.
"I guess so" Max said reluctantly
"Alright!" Ben cheered
"Now this will be interesting" the Anodite said quietly
"Sonar, high-def video setup, ultrasound. I got it all. And I will find it. Mark my words, it can't hide forever." Shaw vowed
The elder Tennyson pulls Ben and Zach aside to talk to them
"Boys, I don't want you to put too much stock in what Mister Shaw says. I don't think he has both oars in the water, if you know what I mean." Max told them
"I'm afraid I'm with Max on this one" Arsen said as he peaked out of Zach's pocket "He's what you humans would call: A Nutcase
"Why? Just because he saw the Krakken too?" Ben asked before walking off
Zach, Arsen, and Max watched him go. The boat continue to sail as the captain was at the helm looking at the sonar. Shaw then noticed some buoys and tapes blocking the way
"Do not enter? What's going on?" he demanded
"Looks official. Maybe we should turn back!." Max suggested
"Nonsense, this is my lake and I'll go where ever I-" Shaw decalred before being interrupted
"Fishing boat! Stop where you are. "
They turn to see another boat pulling up to them
"I am Jonah Melville, the founder of 'Friends of Fish", we've closed this section of the lake for an environmental study. You'll have to turn your boat around." the man known as Jonah said
"'Suppose you make me, fish-hugger?" Shaw stubbornly said
"Well, since I chartered the boat for the day, I believe I'm in charge. Isn't that right, Captain?" Max asked
The captain grumbled before storming up to the front
"But- what about the Krakken?" Ben asked
"The Krakken? Not that old fish story?" Jonah said with a chuckle "Look, I'm a marine biologist. Anyone who tells you they've seen a monster in this lake, is casting without a hook."
'Why do I get the feeling he can't be trusted' Zach thought clearly unamused
Shaw's boat was going back to the pier while trailing behind the Friends of Fish boat. Just then, the sonar begins to ping which alerts Shaw
"The sonar! We've found something!" he said
That's when Ben and Zach notice a shark fin sticking out of the water
"Or something's found us! Look!" Ben said as he points forward
"The Krakken!" Shaw yelled
The fin dips underwater. Ben, Zach, and Max looks down to the Krakken's giant size underneath as it rocked the boat
"It's heading for the docks!" Shaw said
"Gwen!" Ben, Max, and Zach said in unison
At the dock, Gwen was sitting on the pier
"Ah finally a little sun, and with my big-mouth cousin and Zach nowhere in sight, I can just lay back and relax" she said
The Krakken headed straight towards the docks. Captain Shaw attempts to warn the civilians by the docks by ringing his ship's bell. Gwen sees the Krakken coming
"How many times does that doofus and his sidekick think I'm gonna fall for this?" she asked thinking Ben and Zach are pranking her again
The Krakken emerged from the water and with a roar, smashes the pier into pieces sending the dock-goers and Gwen into the water
"That's not Ben or Zach" she said
"My word" Arsen said as he saw the Krakken
"I told ya!- It's real! The Krakken lives!" Captain Shaw said as he looked through some binocculars
"Sail now, gloat later." Max told him before turning to Ben and Zach "Someone's got to rescue those people."
"Right" Zach said
Ben jumps into the water and activates his Omnitrix. The dial shows an aquatic alien on it
"Ripjaws to the rescue"
Ben takes a deep breath and goes underwater. He slams on the faceplate which makes Zach and Arsen cover their eyes. What came up was not Ripjaws, but XLR8
"Hey! I said Ripjaws, not XLR8 stupid watch!" he yelled
"What just happened?" Zach asked
"It appears as though my master's Omnitrix has a little malfunction. It can sometimes give the user the wrong alien form" Arsen explained
"My turn" Zach said as he activates his Omnitrix "You know the drill, Arsen"
"I know. I'll keep out of sight" Arsen said before leaping out of his pocket and running off
Zach turns the dial and once he selected the form he wants, he slams down on the face plate as light blue light shines. Zach transforms into Odor Bug and flew up to XLR8
"No fair. You get the right alien" the Kineceleran complained
"Complain later, we got people to rescue" Odor Bug said as he points to Gwen and other people swimming away from the Krakken
"Here goes nothing" he said
XLR8 begins to run on the surface of the lake. He nearly slips but he kept running towads Gwen and the people in trouble. XLR8 then grabs Gwen out the way and takes her on land.
"You okay?" he asked
"I think so, thanks for the save." Gwen said as she coughed out some water
The Kineceleran splashed some mud on Gwen as he rushed into the water making her cough again
"Hey! You did that on purpose!" she complained
XLR8 and Odor Bug then both rescued people in the water and brought them on land.
"Get us out of here!" Jonah ordered
One of Jonah's crewmates started the boat and sails away. The Krakken took notice and goes after the boat. Odor Bug and XLR8 head towards the boat. The Friends of Fish boat was still getting away until the Krakken appeared in front. The crewmate attempts to turn the boat, but the large monster slammed it's tail on the water making a large wave which makes the boat rock.
"Whoa!" Jonah and his crew yelled
The Krakken approaches the boat again, but XLR8 arrived and creates a water tornado to block the Krakken making go in the water. XLR8 then came on the boat. Suddenly, the Krakken appeared in front of the boat again and begins to grabbed a crate with the word Cannery on it with it's tendrils. Jonah rushed over and grabs the crate
"No you don't!" he cried
XLR8 rushes up and grabs the Krakken's tendril while running backwards to prevent it from taking the crate. The friction from his feet caused smoke to blow in the creature's face. The Krakken pulls back and let's go while sending Jonah and XLR8 flying back. Odor Bug flies in and shoots green slime at the Krakken's eyes to blind it as it got near. XLR8 then zips in and rapidly kicks the Krakken in the chin. The Krakken roared and goes back into the water
"Thanks for the hand and feet" thanked Jonah
"What's so important in that crate- that you'd risk your life for it?" XLR8 asked
"Um... Our lunch!" Jonah replied
"You almost got munched for a few sandwiches?" XLR8 asked
"I also find that very unlikely" Odor Bug added feeling suspicious about Jonah's claim
Just then, the Krakken's tendrills reached out from the water and grabs the crate, dragging it down.
"Whoa. Didn't see that coming" Odor Bug said before both his and XLR8's Omnitrixes begin to time out "Whoops! Gotta fly!"
"Uh oh. Sorry, gotta run." XLR8 said as he leaps into the water and zips away
Odor Bug flies after him. The two alien heroes were flying and zooming towards Captain Shaw's ship.
"Almost there" XLR8 said
"Just gotta make it" Odor Bug added as he flaps his wings furiously
The Omnitrixes then timed out and Ben and Zach are reverted to normal while skidding on the water like stones before landing behind the ships. Max noticed them in the water
"Men overboard! Shaw, Ben and Zach are overboard! Bring the boat around!" Max called to Shaw who attempted to shoot the Krakken
"Next time you're in my sights, you won't be so lucky..." he vowed
The light blue Anodite who was still invisible shook her head in amusement. She had witnessed the battle from afar.
That night, all the campers were packing their stuff up and drove away from the lake. Ben, Zach, Arsen, Grandpa, and Gwen were sitting by a campfire. Ben and Zach were covered in towels to dry off
"See, I told you so. That was the same thing that tried to munch me last night. Captain Shaw, Zach and I were right." Ben bragged
"I must admit. I have never seen a creature quite like this before" Arsen admitted
"Me neither" Zach admitted
The light blue Anodite was behind a nearby tree while listening in on their conversation
"Just because he was right about the Krakken doesn't mean I was wrong about him. I want you boys to stay away from that guy. He's trouble." Max advised
"You're just being stubborn." Ben said
"Yeah, don't you hate people like that?" Gwen asked
"We'll leave this to the experts Ben, like those 'Friends of Fish' guys." Max said
"Experts? Who better to snag a lake-monster than the guys with the monster-busters on their wrists." Ben said
"I'm afraid this is just gonna have to be the one that got away, son." Max said
"I don't know, Mr. Tennyson. There's something about those Friends of Fish guys that seem a little off. I don't trust them" Zach said
"Low-down no good fish kissers!" Captain Shaw angrily said
"Captain Shaw, what is it?" Ben asked
"The nerve of those 'enviro-punks'! They shut down the entire lake! Nobody tells me where to sail, and nobody's gonna keep me away from reeling in the catch of the century. Nobody." Captain Shaw said before storming off
Ben and Zach look at each other. A few minutes later in the Rust Bucket, Gwen was knocking on the door to the bathroom.
"Come on Ben! What did you do- fall in?" she asked
Max comes up and opens the bathroom door only to find it empty. He then turns to Arsen on the table
"Arsen, where's Zach?" he asked
"I believe he said something about going out on a late night hike near the lake" Arsen replied
Captain Shaw got into his ship and sailed into the lake. He then heard a noise from behind him. Shaw turns to the tarp
"Hey! No stowaways on my boat, even if you are only a filthy rat!" he said
Shaw used an oar to remove the tarp, revealing Ben and Zach underneath
"Um? First mate Tennyson reporting for duty... sir?" Ben said
"And second mate Chase. Heh heh. Permission to come aboard, captain?" Zach asked nervously
The captain was not amused. With no other choice, he was forced to let the two boys come along. Unknown to them, the light blue Anodite was watching them from above the ship
"She's probably been chased deep by our 'fishy friends'. Only one way to flush her out... with a little live bait." Shaw explained as he donned a diving suit
"Maybe I should go with you? Y'know, just in case?" Ben offered
"No need. I've got my dive body right here." Shaw replied as he holds up a harpoon "Wish me luck"
And with that, he dove into the water. Ben looks to see a red diving suit nearby
"You're not thinking of going after him, are you?" Zach asked
"Uh huh" Ben answered as he begins to put on the diving suit "I'll be right back"
Deep underwater, Captain Shaw was swimming through the depths. He became startled by something only to see that it was a seaweed. He continued swimming until he reached the Krakken's nest. Then something appeared behind, startling him again. Shaw attempts to shoot at the figure, but it dodged the shot and got closer revealing it to be Ben. The captain sighed in relief and motions Ben to stay close to him. They then see the egg. Back on Shaw's boat, Zach was waiting for Ben and Shaw to come up. The Anodite looks down on him
'Time to have a little fun with him' she thought as she silently flies down behind him
"Man, I knew I should've brought some books to pass the time" Zach complained
The light blue Anodite stretched out her energy like hair and taps Zach on the shoulder
"Huh?" he said
Zach looks behind him, but the Anodite quickly turned invisible. She then flew behind him and became visible again. The Anodite then tapped him in the back again with her hair before flying up in the air as Zach turns around
"That's weird. I thought someone tapped my shoulder" he said
The Anodite silently giggled while putting a hand to her mouth before turning invisible. Zach looked out at the lake until he saw a boat coming by
"Someone's coming. Better hide" he said as he goes somewhere to hide. The Anodite, having seen this as well, turned invisible. Captain Shaw then rose from the surface and noticed the other ship. Climbing up on his ship, he was pulled up by a masked figure followed by two more.
"Don't you know night diving is dangerous, old timer? Unless of course, you went with a friend." he said
"I work alone. I ain't got no friends." Captain Shaw fibbed
"...and with a sparkling personality like yours?" asked the masked figure
Ben came up to the surface while witnessing the confrontation
"I haven't anything worth stealing either." Captain Shaw claimed
"Ah, but you have us all wrong. All we want is information. Like, what did you see down there?" the mask figure interrogated
"Nothin'. Same as always." Shaw answered
The masked figure knocked out Shaw with a punch. He then removes his mask to reveal that he is Jonah Melville.
"Well... I have to be sure." he said
Ben looks at his Omnitrix to see if it works, but it was still in recharge mode.
"Come on, work!" he begged
"Take 'Ahab' here with us. Find out if he knows anything back at the Cannery. We'll come back later with a mini-sub to snatch the rest of the eggs." Jonah said to his two henchmen
He then takes out a device that glowed green and dropped it into the water. They then brought Captain Shaw to their boat
"In the meantime. I think his boat just got lost at sea." Jonah said as he threw an explosive into the ship before sailing away
Zach gasped as he saw the explosive
"Uh oh. Abandon ship" he said as he leaps into the water
The ship explodes while Ben ducks down to avoid the debris. As he swam he meets Zach as they both swam up. They look to see the boat sailing off
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Zach asked
"Oh yeah. It's Hero Time" Ben said
Back on Jonah's boat, he and his crew were going fast. One of the crewmates notice something
"Is that a bird?" he asked
"Nah. Looks like a plane." another crew member replied
It was revealed to be Stinkfly who was flying after them.
"It's a bug! Man the harpoons!" Jonah ordered
"Give it up! You are totally busted." Stinkfly said heroically
One of the crewmates fired a laser gun at the Lepidopterran, but he easily evades it in the air and begins to shoot green slime from his eye stalks. One of the crewmates got hit along with the other crewmate manning the laser. Seeing this, Jonah flipped some switches to disperse some explosive barrels. Stinkfly did his best to avoid the barrels as they begin to explode. Then a tree got blasted by the barrrels which knocks Stinkfly into the water.
"Aw, man. My wings are too wet for take-off." he said
Jonah then turns the boat around and accelerates the boat towards Stinkfly.
"Let's squish that bug, once and for all!" he yelled
Stinkfly begins to swim away as Jonah's boat was on his tail. The Lepidopterran got onto a log and looks with his eyestalk to see his enemy still coming. He attempts to fly
"Aw, come on, come on! Dry off" he groaned as he attempts to dry his wings off
But Jonah's ship was still coming. Stinkfly then noticed a nearby tree branch. Shooting a spit of slime from his mouth, Stinkfly slurps it as he swings up to safety just as the crewmate fired at him. Just then something swats the turret into the water.
"What the ?" he puzzled
Just then, a ghost like alien with blue chains on his wrists and neck appeared in front of him. He has a light blue eye and the Omnitrix symbol is on his chest
"Boo!"
"Aaaah! A ghost!" the crewmate yelled
"The name's Spector" the alien replied "And I'm gonna make you sleep!"
Spector then punched the man knocking him out. He then turned invisible while flying up to Stinkfly who hid from the spotlight. Jonah then sees the Kraken's fin from the surface
"It's getting too crowded around here" Jonah said "Dump the trash overboard."
The crewmates tossed the Captain Shaw overboard. Luckily, Stinkfly, with his wings dried off, was able to grab Shaw before he sunk. He along with Spector looked to see that Jonah's boat was gone.
"Good work. Now let's head back to the others" Spector said
They two alien heroes then flew back to the Rust Bucket. The light blue Anodite, who was invisible, tailed them. As they were heading back, both the Omnitrixes begin to time out
"Aw, not again..." groaned Stinkfly
"Not right now!" added Spector
At the Rust Bucket, Gwen was looking at some binocculars as she tries to find the boys. Max, with Arsen on his shoulder, came outside
"Any sign of Ben, Zach, and Shaw?" Max asked
"Not yet" Gwen replied before hearing the beeping of the Omntrixes
Stinkfly changes back into Ben as he and the unconscious Shaw begins to fall from the sky. Luckilly, they landed on the Rust Bucket's sun shade. Spector then changed back into Zach. He screamed as he starts falling, but the light blue Anodite was able to catch him while invisible. Zach was surprised as he was set back down on the ground.
"Whoa. How did I do that?" he asked
The light blue Anodite smiled at him from behind him. Ben then recovered from the fall
"Aw, I hate it when that happens." he groaned
Inside the Rust Bucket, Ben and Zach were explaining to everyone what happened in the lake. Gwen was typing on her laptop while Arsen hid in Zach's pocket to avoid being seen by Captain Shaw
"...and the Krakken's nest was full of eggs! No wonder she's been attacking everything, Jonah must be stealing her eggs!" Ben finished explaining
"And I think I know who Jonah is. I did a little checking on "Friends of Fish" and found out it's not listed on any environmental website. But I did find this" Gwen said as she turned her laptop to show what she had found "Jonah Melville isn't a friend to any kind of wildlife, he travels around the world poaching rare animals. then crates them up, and sells them to private collectors."
"Crates them up?" Ben said with a face palm "Oh man! I bet that crate, the Krakken took off their boat, had her egg in it!"
"I knew that guy can't be trusted" Zach angrily said while clenching his fists
"Looks like we were both, a little too hard headed." Max said
"We've got to stop them! They said something about going back to a cannery." Ben said
"All this talk doesn't change a thing. Mommy or not, that beast is mine. Let's go! I've a spare boat down at the docks." Captain Shaw said
"But Captain Shaw. If you take her out, her eggs will be unprotected. You can't do this" said Zach
"I must. Once a monster, always a monster" Captain Shaw stubbornly said before heading out
The Tennysons, Arsen, and Zach exchange looks at each other with smiles before following after him
The gang were on a boat preparing to set sail
"It'll take a while until the police can get here." Gwen said as she holds out her phone
Captain Shaw was untying a rope. Before he can get on, the boat took off without him
"What're you doing? Get back here!" he demanded
"Sorry, Captain" Ben called
"You'll thank us for this later" Zach added
"You don't know what you're doing! A monster's a monster, and I know a monster when I see one!" yelled Captain Shaw
But they were long gone. Shaw clenched his fists in anger until he shines his lantern at a rowboat nearby. The Anodite was up high in the air as she observed this. Meanwhile, at a place called the cannery, a crane with a clamp pulled a submarine with Jonah inside out of the water with one of the Krakken's eggs. The submarine was set down at a dock. One of the crewmates takes the egg
"Careful! -Or you'll be cleaning up the world's most expensive omelette." Jonah warned as the crewmate placed the egg in a cylindrical capsule with the other egg "After we sell these babies to the highest bidder, we'll be kicking back on a beach in the Bahamas."
The gang then arrived underneath the cannery at the entrance with a ladder. Max, Gwen, with Arsen in Grandpa Max's pocket climb the ladder.
"See if you can find the eggs." Ben said
"What about you two?" Gwen asked
"Let's just say that me and Ben are gonna kick some Friend of Fish tail" Zach answered
"Oh yeah" Ben said
The two boys activate their Omnitrixes and after selecting an alien, they slammed the faceplates. They both transformed into Pisciss Volanns Ripjaws and Torrent-Strike. Just then, the Krakken burst through the cannery docks clearly angry that her eggs were stolen.
"The bigger the Krakken, the bigger the payday." Jonah said as he heads to the submarine
His crewmates opened fire at the monster, but the Krakken got closer. One of them decides run away leaving the other behind. The Krakken swipes the gun away with her tendrill and attempts to get her eggs, only for Jonah to snatch them. Jonah then begins to fire at the Krakken. Ripjaws and Torrent-Strike leaps out of the water and latches onto Jonah's sub
"You want to mess with a monster. Try me on for size" Ripjaws said
"Don't forget me" Torrent-Strike added
Ripjaws attempts to grab the eggs, but Jonah primed his laser on him. Luckily, Torrent-Strike used his jaws to bite it off while Ripjaws used his jaws to bite the other arm to make him drop the eggs. Ripjaws dives down and grabs the capsule only to get punched by Jonah. The container breaks and the Krakken's eggs rolls over to a plank. Inside the cannery, Max, Gwen, and Arsen were sneaking around. Max looks around a corner to see one of Jonah's henchmen going for some guns. Max turns to Gwen and did some hand signals to communicate with her. But just then, the crew member that shot at the Krakken came up from the entrance. Spotting them, he takes out his gun and aims it at them.
"All right, buddy. We can do this the easy way, or the hardy way." Max said
The crewmate only advanced them with his gun out making the two back up. Just then, the Krakken's fin breaks through the wall
"Go high!" Max yelled
He and Gwen leaped to some hooks and slides over the floor while the Krakken's fin destroyed the floor causing the goon to fall into the water. Another goon came out as he heard the commotion only to get knocked down by Max and Gwen as they leaped off the hooks.
"Is this the easy way, or the hard way?" Gwen asked
"I say it's more of the hard way" Arsen said as he appeared on Max's shoulder
Outside, Torrent-Strike, Ripjaws, and Jonah all rushes over to the eggs, but the Krakken scoops them up
"My eggs!" cried Jonah as he shot up
Just as he reached for the eggs, the Piciss Volanns tackled him from the sides
"They are not your eggs!" Torrent-Strike yelled
As the eggs fell, Ripjaws grabs the eggs and goes into the water along with Torrent-Strike. Jonah unlatched his sub from the crane and tackles Ripjaws underwater.
"Rescuing babies? Very heroic, but not very smart." Jonah taunted as he repeatedly punched Ripjaws
Torrent-Strike got behind him and bites his arm only to get shrugged off by Jonah. The evil man then scoops up the eggs and heads up to the surface. After the two alien heroes recovered from the attack they both swam after Jonah. Ripjaws first latched onto Jonah's sub, but he puches him off, but Torrent-Strike swam in front of him and wrestles the eggs from Jonah's grip. He then placed the eggs into his jaws, pushes Jonah off, and swim away. But the Krakken swam in and attack him with her tendrills. Torrent-Strike dodges one strike but got hit by the second strike forcing the alien hero to let go of the eggs while the Krakken takes them back. Torrent-Strike hits the ground as Ripjaws swam next to him. Nodding at each other, they swam after Jonah who was chasing after the Krakken. He then unleashed a sonic attack from his suit which disorients the Krakken and allowing him to grab the eggs. Ripjaws then tackles Jonah sending him to the ground, only for Jonah to pin him with his suit. Torrent-Strike then swam behind him and then quickly grabs one of Jonah's arms and starts to rip it off using his jaw. Yelping in pain, Jonah shrugs him off while Ripjaws used a nearby anchor to swing at him before attempting to bite Jonah, but the man punches him away and then begins to swim up. Seeing him get away, Ripjaws swings the anchor and throws it at Jonah which knocks his arm off and drop the eggs. Ripjaws and Torrent-Strike both worked together to pull the chain only for the Krakken to bite on it. Jonah dropped the eggs allowing the two alien heroes to grab one of them. They then swam for it with the Krakken in pursuit
"Oh come on! We're on your side!" Torren-Strike said before turning to Ripjaws "Looks like we'll have to prove it to her. Right bud?"
Ripjwas, who has the egg in his mouth, nods his head. They kept swimming until they reached the Krakken's nest. Ripjaws and Torrent-Strike then placed the eggs on the nest. They then backed away as the the Krakken begin to huddle close to the egg. Just then, Jonah swam in and is getting close to the eggs, but the Krakken grabs him with her tendrills. She then bites on his suit destroying it in the process. Without his equipment, Jonah was out in the open. He takes out a knife and attemmpts to stap the Krakken, but it breaks. The Krakken then opened her mouth and attempts to eat him, but Ripjaws and Torrent-Strike both swam in front of Jonah. Understanding this, the Krakken goes back to her nest to be with her eggs. The alien heroes and Jonah looked at each other. Both Piciss Volanns delivered a punch to knock the poacher out. They then came up to the surface as Ripjaws hung the uncoscious Jonah on a debris.
"Hang here for a while, until the police find a nice, dry cell for ya." Ripjaws said
"Yeah. Let's see how you like being in a cage for a change" Torrent-Strike added
They then dove into the water as the police boat arrived. Gwen, Max, and Arsen witnessed this from the Cannery dock.
"Ha, 'good riddance to bad rubbish'." Max said
"Got them!"
They turn to see Captain Shaw coming up in his rowboat. Ripjaws and Torrent-Strike were in his net
"I finally got me some Krakkens! The eggs must've hatched. Imagine these trophies mounted on my wall." Shaw boasted
The Omnitrixes symbols beeped red and the two Piciss Volanns reverted back
"I think your 'catch of the day' isn't exactly as advertised." chuckled Max
Confused, Shaw holds up his lantern and sees Ben and Zach back in their human forms. They both smiled
" But I could've sworn..." Shaw said confused
Up in the air, the light blue Anodite watched this
"Hee hee. Now that's one fishing trip I'll never forget" she said
Deep underwater, the Krakken was still at her nest as she cradled her eggs making sure that she never lets them out of her sight.
