An hour after defeating the Grimm Liquid, Deku was helping to clean up the hallway so that everyone could use the school as a place to rest for the night.
"There, that at least opens the hallway," he said after moving some rubble.
"And I managed to bring everyone I sent to the pocket dimension back," said Uravity as she walked over to him.
"Which still feels weird because I'm only used to making people float," she said.
"Everything has been weird since we got here, but at least we can take a minute for ourselves right now," said Deku before kissing her.
"Hey love birds!" yelled Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight from down the hall, causing them to jump slightly.
"She's awake," he said before heading back into the room he had come from. Once in the room, Deku and Uravity found Ruby sitting up in a bed wearing clothes that Yang had given her.
"How are you feeling?" asked Ren.
"Like I've done something that can't be forgiven," said Ruby who was looking down at her hands which were resting in her lap rather than at her friends.
"Anyone can fall to the darkness, Miss. Rose," said Ozpin.
"Even us Silver Eyed Warriors can be infected by it," said Summer as she stood next to the bed.
"But we weren't in control of the actions we did, neither of us meant to do the things we have," she said while placing a hand on her daughter's shoulder.
"And that's supposed to just absolve us of our crimes?!" asked Ruby while shrugging her hand away.
"No, your crimes are too big for that," said Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, causing everyone to turn to stare at him.
"Watch yourself, Bakugo," said Eraser Head.
"All I'm saying is that she can't be forgiven so easily," said Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight.
"But instead of just sitting here letting the grief get to her she should be out there helping to fix the things she destroyed and showing others that she's not the same person as before," he said before leaving.
"Hate to say it, but he's right," said Deku.
"Sitting around, stewing in self hatred, it will only make you feel worse and make others distrust you even more," he said.
"I need some time to think," said Ruby. Everyone else then left without another word.
