The Equestria Civil War
AN: -This is a fanfic I am writing after some good years. The time for this fanfic takes place after the Canterlor Wedding when Princess Cadance marries Shining Armor and Celestia sends them to the Crystal Empire so Twilight ain't the Princess of friendship yet. I will refer to Celestia and Luna as Queens since it is much easier than Princesses to write. An OC of mine will be used, General Thunder Wave, a pegasus general of the Wonderbolts who lives in Clouldstade. I don't know how long this will be but we shall see. Have a good read, Trifosu out-
Chapter 1: -A military problem-
The changeling invasion left a lot of damage to canterlot and the ponies are working night and day to repair all the damage…well the lesser classes are, the rich unicorns like Fancy Pants or Prince Blue Blood were safe and sound. This was expected of the nobility to flee during times of need. But this did not bode well with a certain General Thunder Wave, the blue pegasus mare wearing her blue wonderbolt uniform with a medal of duty over her chest walks down the halls of the castle towards the throne room. She narrows her one good right eye, the left one was damaged during the battle for Canterlot and it is now scarred but she does not hide it, the doors are opened and before her are Queen Celestia and Queen Luna on their thrones. Without even a proper bow Thunder Wave walks in front of Queen Celestia and slams down a mountain of reports.
'Those are the reports of this week, my Queen' speaks Thunder Wave in a not so calm tone 'The repairs are still going on in the city….the nobility are making things even harder with their crap' she looks away at the painting of Twilight and the girls who defeated Nightmare moon and she looks back at her rulers. 'My Queens, may I ask why you are excluding the nobility to donate even a small bit of bits to reconstruct the capital?'. With a small frown from the lack of proper respect Luna speaks up and her wings slightly expand
'General Thunder Wave, we do understand your concern about the city, but I assure you that we do not need the nobility to work. They lack the talent of others. Thunder Wave looks down and mumbles angrily 'Yeah…maybe the unicorn ones don't know a buck'. This was a little too loud and Celestia raises an eyebrow and her usual kind smile turns into a serious look.
'Pardon me? General, what do you mean by 'The unicorn nobles don't know a buck? I would appreciate a proper tone from one of my top generals. I am grateful for your service during the invasion but that does not mean you can talk like this to me and Queen Luna so please show some respect' speaks Celestia as she stands up and Thunder Wave has no choice but to bow her head. 'Yes Queen Celestia…I apologize for my…tone' and with that Thunder Wave is dismissed and she walks out of the throne room and down the hall she looks as the unicorn nobility has a great time eating and drinking their usual fancy meals while her fellow pegasus are put to the hardest works due to their ability to fly. 'Look at them…fattening like pigs while my pegasisters and brothers work. Disgusting' thinks Thunder Wave as she walks out of the castle and she flies to her home in Cloudsdale. Now left in the throne room alone, Luna looks up at Celestia.
'Sister…I am worried about the General Thunder Wave. I know the battle scarred her eye and she lost good soldiers but that is no way to speak to us or to act.' Luna speaks slightly worried. Celestia sights calmly and leviates some a piece of paper and quill 'I do agree Luna…let me write a letter to Twilight Sparkle about the situation'
Meanwhile in Ponyville…
Twilight, Spike, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are in Rarity's home watching the photos taken at the wedding and laughing at the mess that was created.
'Well I'll be…Look at RD's dress after them bugs almost ruined it' snickers a very amused Applejack as she almost falls down her chair. Rainbow dash pouts and flies to Applejack's head and taps her snout
'Oh yeah Cowgirl? At least I don't wear boots at a wedding' replies Rainbow Dash with her usual smug smile and she sticks her tongue. Rarity rolls her eyes at such childish behavior.
'Darlings, can you cut it out? I do want a tornado in my house' speaks rarity in her drama Queen fashion, Pinkie pie and Fluttershy just eat some leftover cake from the wedding but also giggle at the small conflict between Applejack and Rainbow Dash. It was calm until Spike's tummy rumbled and he burped out a letter from Celestia. Twilight was quick to take the letter in her magic and read it out loud for the girls to hear.
'My faithful student Twilight Sparkle. I write this letter to you because I am worried about Thunder Wave, The pegasus war veteran and current head of my Wonderbolts. Since the wedding she has been acting out of turn and it worries me. I do not need a racist individual in my land of harmony and peace. Please do what research you need and write back to me as soon as possible. -your dear teacher and mentor Queen Celestia. P.S. Beware of her anger, Thunder is unpredictable' reads Twilight as her eyes go wide. A general….to show rebellion to the queens? Rainbow's eyes meanwhile glitter and she spins in the air. 'WAIT WHAT?' she pushes Twilight aside making her fall with her face in her piece of cake and Rainbow takes the letter and reads it one more time for herself 'General Thunder Wave? THE Thunder Wave?' smiles Rainbow. Rarity looks at her confused.
'What is the big deal, darling? She is just a general like any other in the royal guards and Wonderbolts. I do not see why you pushed poor Twilight in the cake' speaks Rarity as she helps Twilight up and she cleans her face with a napkin and Twilight nods as a thanks. But Rainbow grabs Rarity's face in her hooves and speaks close to her face.
'YOU CRAZY? Thunder Wave is a pegasus hero. During the wedding invasion she stood defiant and protected as many ponies as she could. She even got a cool eye scar for taking a changeling bite to the face to protect a colt. She is like…20% cooler then even Captain Spitfire. She alone is responsible for at least 20 changelings dead and many more captured. They even gave her the title of 'Changeling Bucher' , laughs Rainbow Dash a bit too excited about meeting a war hero of Equestria. Fluttersky however looks disturbed about the massacre that this 'hero' committed.
'2-20…changelings dead? That is no joke Rainbow Dash…those were lives lost! Being happy that one of our ponies killed others is not ok and changelings are like us living beings…' she looks down and hides her eye behind her mane 'even if they did invade us…'. Rainbow looks at her shy friend annoyed.
'Those bugs invaded us. Queen Chrysalis harmed Celestia and shoved our Queen in a cocoon to consume her love for later, she replaced Princess Cadance and nearly married Twilight's brother. I think they deserve what they got! So toughen up Fluttershy, had it not been for ponies like Thunder Wave to save some of us…maybe right now me and you would have been kept as cattle by the changelings!' snarls Rainbow Dash getting a bit angry. Pinkie pie trying to lighten up the mood gets in between the two and hugs them both 'Woah woah woah. Let's all take a deep breath. We are gonna meet Thunder Wave alright? We can't present ourselves like this to a great flier, much less a battle hardened veteran. Let's put on some smiles and make haste' and Pinkie happily hops out of Rarity's house and the others follow not knowing what will await them upon meeting Thunder Wave.

AN: Ok this was fun to write. I want some opinions on this, did I nail the characters on how they speak and act? I know some of them didn't get enough dialogue but I plan to do more in the future. This was rather short as I am still rusty at writing after some 2 years since my last fanfic. But for now , I was your writer Trifosu.
