It was just your average day in Kivotos. The sun was shining. People were out shopping and chatting about their daily lives. Cars driving by while girls sold knick knacks on street corners. Cats and dogs getting along. Robots making their way to work, usually grumbling about students getting in the way.

Oh and the armed and dangerous car chase making its way through the street.

As usually happens in Kivotos.

Cars were pushed aside as a large truck smashed through traffic. For something so large, it was going impressively fast. A couple of black vans and several motorcyclists were racing behind it. It was an impressive lot, but given how haphazardly they were driving, their size wasn't something they had full confidence in. This was especially so given how many bullets they were spraying behind them.

The reason for that was confidently driving her own motorcycle after the criminals. Suzumi Morizuki confidently moved her motorcycle efficiently through the storm of bullets being thrown her way. The Trinity Vigilante narrowed her eyes as she kept up with her prey. She had been hunting these goons for a good while. The city was still in disarray and although a good chunk of the delinquents had called it quits after Sensei's victory, there was still a good bit of clean up to do. This was the largest group of delinquents she could find. She was confident she could take them on her own. They were skilled enough to be much of a threat but she was being proven slightly wrong. At least in how annoying it was to keep pace with them.

Some of their motorcyclists moved back to get close to her. She released one of her hands from the steering handles and reached for her rifle on her back. Swiftly, she pulled it out and fired a burst. The stream of bullets impacted one of them enough to knock her off her ride. She was thankful that she didn't have to keep pumping into them to knock them fully out. It was a bit tricky to reload on a motorcycle. Not impossible, but tricky.

She ducked under a hail of bullets before pointing her rifle at her left. She pulled the trigger and another goon fell off her bike. A battle cry could be heard as one of them had fully turned around and tried to ride right into her. She weaved around the short bursts of bullets before making a slight right move to her right. Her rifle pointed right at her opponent's front wheel. A few bullets and it was destroyed, sending the girl flying off as it crashed, spinning on the ground.

Another girl tried the same. This one was far closer and on the opposite side. Suzumi didn't have the time to fire. So she didn't. She ducked her head and used the rifle in her right hand as a club. She just extended it and smashed it right into the girl's helmet. She heard a pained 'oof' as the girl tried to keep herself in control of her ride after a hit like that. Commendable. Of course, in a dazed state, the delinquent smashed right into a parked car.

Four down. Several more to go. It was never easy in the life of Suzumi.

One of the van's opened up their back door. Suzumi's eyes widened when she saw a tripod set machine gun at the ready. One of the hooligans was ready and willing to fill her full of lead. A viscous smirk was on her face.

"We've had enough of you so eat this," she shouted as she gave it her all to fell Suzumi.

Suzumi gritted her teeth as she steered her motorcycle over to the sidewalk. She didn't like getting more citizens involved in the gunfire but most everyone was already doing their best to get out of the way anyway. Besides, stray gunfire was normal in Kivotos. What she needed was for the parked cars to absorb a lot of the gunfire directed at her. One or two bullets hit her shoulder but she kept at it. She'd had worse and it wasn't bad enough to mess up her steering.

Suzumi put her rifle back onto its place behind her. Then she reached for her pouch. She had a good shot at this. She just had to be careful.

"Come on," the machine gunner shouted as she kept spraying, "You aint winning this. Just give it up already and go home."

"Funny," Suzumi said, mostly to herself as she gripped one of her flashbangs. "I was thinking the same thing."

The moment the machine gunner stopped to reload was when she struck. She sped right between two cars and leaned the motorcycle to the side as she sped on past the open door. She did this mostly to avoid the machine gunner's companions from taking a pot shot at her. She grabbed the pin of the flash grenade with her teeth, pulled, and threw it right into the van. The goons cried out in panic but unfortunately couldn't do anything in time. There was a loud bang. They were either blinded or sent rolling out into the street. Mostly both.

The van careened into another car. It seemed the driver had chosen the wrong time to look back into the van's interior. Suzumi nodded to herself before unslinging her rifle to fire into another motorcyclist. It might take a bit but she was sure this wouldn't be much harder then it was now.

Collateral aside, of course.

"Damn it," the leading gang member slammed her hand onto the truck's dashboard, "Why'd we have to bump into that crazy chick? Now of all times when we've got the motherload of scores in the back?"

"I don't know boss," her driver said, "Maybe it's karma?"

"Well I don't believe in karma," the leader scowled, "And you don't either or else you wouldn't be here."

"Well that's more due to my poor life choices-"

"I don't want to listen to you blab about your life's history again," the leader said with a snarl, "We've just got to lose her."

"In a truck?" Her driver glanced at her for a moment.

"If we knock her out or off of that motorcycle," the leader said, "We should be good. Just take a right here. We've got a safe place close by. We hunker down there and she's not going to be able to drag us out until its too late."

"Then we'll be rich," the driver said, "Right boss?"

"Absolutely," the leader said. She could imagine just swimming in all those credits. Oh she didn't even know what to spend it all on. "But first we've got to make it through today. We've had bad days before but pulled through. I'm sure we can do that again now."

Unfortunately for her, it seemed she was destined to be proven wrong. As they turned the corner, a motorcycle crashed right into the leader's door. It wasn't enough to burst inside but just enough to bend it far enough to hit her. The truck's drive panicked and swerved more to the left, smacking aside another car. Neither of them heard something on the roof.

That something being Suzumi, who had leaped off her motorcycle. Landing on the top of the truck's carriage, she moved forward and fired right into the top of the truck's head. The driver was hit with the full brunt of it. A full mag was plenty enough to knock out a student like her. The leader yelped through her cries of pain and fear as the truck crashed into the side of a building.

The leader sat there as her world was swirling around her. She just let herself breathe in and out as she tried to make sense of it all. Then she turned to her left and saw an angel.

No. A devil was more like it in the form of an angel. One wing on top of her head wiggling in the slight wind. The girl who had put them all through the winger lifted her gun to point it at her head.

"Cease and desist," the Trinity girl said, "This is your last warning."

The leader would have given up right then and there. She should have. She was in no position to refuse. Yet her anger got the best of her. She leaned over to grab her gun. She wasn't fast enough. Bullets impacted her head, knocking her out.
Unfortunately for the both of them, she hit the 'release' button as she fell unconscious. The Trinity girl didn't notice anything wrong at first. Sure the doors were opening in the back, but it was probably a stolen tank or a load of cash. She just had to focus on the rest of the gang when they made it over.

The loud roar, however, shook her of that notion.

Rin Nanagami had been sitting in her office with her face buried in her hands for a good half hour. Her mind was lost in a deluge of thoughts. All of which were centered around what had happened recently. More specifically, the prior day. She had still been plagued by questions about her friend's disappearance and the chaos that followed. Yet it was everything about this 'servant' that truly puzzled her.

She still found it difficult to come to grasp with his existence. People of the past given new form? Ghosts in physical bodies? It sounded so absurd. That was especially hard to swallow since she had never heard of Napoleon Bonaparte. Then he had to go and suggest he was from another world as well? It was all absurd! Preposterous. No one could believe that.

Yet how was she supposed to refute it? He had literally come about in a magical circle. Summoned like a spirit of ages past in her own world. She had heard about ghosts and monsters in other districts. She had thrown those aside as tall tales. Perhaps she should look into them more closely after this.

Then came the Shittim Chest. An AI? A smart AI capable of doing basically anything it wanted? Truly the President had to be a genius to create something like that. It was somehow easier to believe than the spirit. Yet for some reason, only she and Napoleon could see her.

"What do you mean you can't see her? She's right there?"

"I-I'm so sorry, Rin. But I-I c-can't see anything but a blank screen."

"Maybe she's finally lost it."

"Momoko! Shut up or no more chips for a week!"

That had been a disaster. It seemed Arona was simply too shy around the others. Maybe she could clear that up in a future date when she gets on the AI's good side. Perhaps barraging her with questions she couldn't answer to the point she was a little scared wasn't the best first impression. Napoleon had to snap her out of.

Speaking of which…

She glanced over at the TV in her room. It was playing a recording of the press conference she had attended earlier today. It was getting right to the part where their new 'Sensei' was making his big speech.

The large broad man towered over a lot of the students and the podium itself. He grabbed it and looked everyone in the eyes. Rin could remember how everyone went silent when he did that. He had the most intense stare she had ever seen. There was so much drive in them. A fiery determination you couldn't help but get lost in.

Then he smiled.

Rin had rolled her eyes at how many of the students started to blush when he did that. Sure he was pretty handsome and well built. Not to mention that there really weren't any other guys around. So 'something' was sure to happen. Thankfully the girls kept it in their pants or skirts and listened intently.

"My students," Napoleon started, "I am ever so proud to stand here before you today. The last good while has been hard on all of you. I know what it's like to see your beloved country fall into chaos. You never know what's going to happen next. Are you going to get robbed? Kidnapped? Worse than that? To watch everything you hold dear go up in fire and smoke. It gets to you," he thumped a hand against his broad chest.

"But you stayed strong," he continued, "You persevered. I saw the fire in the eyes of those that fought by my side. Through it all, they never gave up. They never gave in. I'm sure you all had that same fire within you."

Some of the students looked away. Probably thinking that he didn't mean them specifically. How could he? Not everyone fought as hard as those on the front lines.

"And I'm not just talking about those that fought with me," Napoleon said, "I see that same fire in each and everyone here. If you think I'm wrong, then speak with me. I want to bring out that fire and see you rage on to be your very best. That's my job as your Sensei. I will not rule you or anyone. I simply wish to be by your side and lead you to victory."

"You are proud citizens of Kivotos. You fight for yourselves every day. You are unbreakable and we have shown that. Kivotos still stands here and now. We will make sure it stands forevermore."

"Yeah!" A cheer from the crowd sounded.

"So give a cheer to those that fought on the front lines."

"Yeah!"

"Give a cheer for those that fight every day."

"Yeah!"

"Give a cheer for yourselves and your friends who will live on in infamy!"

"Yeah!"

"I am gladdened to see you all in good spirits," Napoleon laughed, "Make me proud, Kivotos. I will be here whenever you need me."

"Sensei. Sensei. Sensei!"

"Arona," Rin said tiredly.

"Yes?" The little AI in the tablet on her desk said.

"Turn off the TV for me," Rin said.

Rin huffed as the little AI did as she asked. Normally the Shittim Chest would stay with Sensei at all times. He agreed with that but thought to leave it here with her as he straightened a few things out with some of the girls.

"Hello Rin," Napoleon shouted as he burst into the room with a wide grin, "I am here1"

"Yes you are, Sensei." Rin said, holding up the Chest.

Napoleon gladly took the Chest, "Did you like my speech, Arona?"

"It was the best speech I've ever heard," the little AI said jubilantly.

"I think I've given better," he rubbed his chin but chuckled anyway, "But I'll take your word for it," he looked at Rin. "Anything I should know about, miss down in the dumps?"

"That is…" She sighed, "Nevermind. We've got a lot on our plate. It's going to take a while to set things in order. Which is why I need you to go about your duties as Sensei as quickly as possible."

"Are you sure you don't need my help?" Napoleon said, "I do have some experience building a nation after all."

"That won't be necessary," Rin shook her head, "Wherever you came from, it's not like Kivotos. I know what I'm doing."

"I'll take your word for it," Napoleon sighed, "But the offer still stands. Still, I best be off and help my precious students."

"Sensei!" Arona shouted, "We've got an emergency."

Napoleon laughed, "Speak of the devil. The timing couldn't be better. Now what's the problem, my little secretary."

"There's a huge gunfight in the middle of a highway a few blocks from here," Arona said before picking up a digital piece of paper, "And… there's a dinosaur on the loose too."

"...Eh?" Both Rin and Napoleon said in unison, equally puzzled.
