After spending a whole class trying to keep from falling asleep, Usagi was more than happy to be eating having ice cream with Naru-chan and Trevor-nii.
"That Home Economics class was so boring," she sighed, finding herself yawning all over again. "It's made me all sleepy."
"Akiyama-sensei used to be so passionate about sewing," Naru-chan said, sounding a bit worried, but also a bit curious.
"Well, there's a reason she isn't anymore!"
"Umino-kun!" Trevor-nii exclaimed, pulling Umino-baka out from under their table by the collar of his shirt. "You shouldn't startle people like that!" Trevor-nii snapped, glaring at Umino-baka and almost looking like he was going to chop Umino-baka on the head for being dumb.
Or maybe that was just what Usagi herself wanted to do to him, the idiot.
"Sorry! Sorry!" Umino-baka said, squirming even as Trevor-nii let go of his collar and pushed him away from their table. "But, Akiyama-sensei's strange behavior is strongly connected to her engagement."
"Engagement?" she and Naru-chan asked together, while Trevor-nii folded his arms, raising an eyebrow curiously.
"Yes," Umino-baka said, looking deeper into that weird little book of his. "Higure Akiyama-sensei is thirty-four years old, and still unmarried, but she has a strong desire to change that. Her greatest dream is to have a wonderful wedding ceremony in a wedding dress she sewed herself!"
"You know, you shouldn't spy on people like that, Umino-kun," Trevor-nii said, frowning as he interrupted Umino-baka before he could say anything else.
"It's not like someone else couldn't have found all of this out, Trevor-kun," Umino-baka said, holding that weird book of his close to his chest, as though he was afraid that Trevor-nii would take it from him.
"Someone who was willing to stalk people, you mean," Trevor-nii said, still glaring at Umino-baka where he was standing.
"Stop being creepy," Usagi said, punching Umino-baka in the head, since she knew that Trevor-nii was too nice to do anything like that.

Searching for the human that the stars had led him too had eventually ended up with Nephrite stopped for a moment in front of a shop that sold what seemed to be long bolts of fabric, with a pair of rather energetic women speaking among each other out front. Rolling down his window for a long moment, Nephrite paused to watch the pair of them, and then returned once more to the mansion and the mountain that he had created for his own use.
Making his way into the mansion where he performed his divinations, Nephrite considered once more just how he would be able to lay his hands to the schoolboy that Queen Beryl wished him to obtain.
Still, he could consider such a thing once he'd managed to determine just which of the many humans in the surrounding city. Calling upon Vega, from within the constellation of Lyra, Nephrite determined that it was indeed Higure Akiyama who would provide him with the energy that he could harvest energy from for Queen Beryl and the Dark Kingdom.
He would also need to find a way to obtain the schoolboy for Queen Beryl, as well; the youma he was going to create would likely be of use, in that case.

As he and Usagi made their way back home, he felt her pull him lightly to a stop at the sight of a wedding party. Smiling slightly as he watched his younger sister's face light up as she watched the party. The pair of them stayed like that for a long moment, before the sight and sound of some other people putting up a sign drew their attention.
"Huh?! A handmade wedding dress competition?!" Usagi exclaimed, looking over at the sign that had just been put up, a cheerful smile growing on her face. "The prize is a lavish, all-expenses paid wedding reception?!"
Chewing his lower lip for a moment, Trevor found himself wondering if he should be worried about this – it had showed up just as he and Usagi had been on their way home, but on the other hand he didn't want to start being so paranoid he couldn't let himself or Usagi enjoy anything – or if he shouldn't be thinking too much. Usagi was happy, along with the rest of their school friends, so Trevor tried to be happy for her.
"Oh, but I'm not good at sewing," Usagi sighed, staring at the sign advertising the contest.
"I guess you won't be able to enter this contest, Usa-ko," he said, hugging her as she sighed and leaned against him.
The sound of Rei-sempai's voice drew his attention, and he and Usagi made their way over to where she was standing.
"So, you're interested in this, too, Rei-sempai?" he asked, once the three of them had all met up with each other.
"Of course, Trevor-kun!" Rei-sempai said, a cheerful smile on her face. "It's the dream of every young girl in love," Rei-sempai said, fists clenched giddily in front of her face. "I'm sure there's even a girl out there who'd like to marry you, someday."
"I guess," he said, not quite sure what to think; Rei-sempai and Usagi seemed to be excited about this contest, do he tried to be excited for them.
As the three of them headed home, with Usagi and Rei-sempai talking cheerfully about their plans for their respective dresses and how they were going to be making them, Trevor found himself curious about what Mom was going to think of Rei-sempai when the both of them met. As it turned out, though, Mom was just happy to see Usagi making friends.
Though, she was curious to know just why he was calling Rei-sempai "sempai" at all, since the both of them were in the same grade, even if they did go to different schools.
Explaining what Rei-sempai was teaching him, without mentioning either of their respective abilities or anything about Luna-sensei or the Sailor Senshi as a whole, wasn't exactly the easiest thing Trevor had ever done. But, in the end he and Rei-sempai told her that she was helping him with his Japanese Mythology studies. That was something that he and Usagi were both kind of weak on, so it made sense that he at least would have sought out someone who could help him with those weaknesses.
Of course, telling Mom that did mean that she would be expecting him to at least get better grades in the subject, something that Rei-sempai seemed to understand just as well as he did.
The four of them settled into a comfortable conversation after that, with Mom bringing out some snacks on her own even though Trevor offered to help her. She'd always been understanding like that, which was something he appreciated, while at the same time wondering if his first mother had been the same. He couldn't remember many concrete things, other than the fact that she and his first father had existed, not after everything that had happened.
Not after so many years had passed.
When Usagi left for Ami-san's house, Trevor waved to her as he and Rei-sempai made their way back to the Hikawa shrine.
"Trevor-kun."
"Mamoru-sempai," he said, finding himself more than a little surprised to have run into the older boy on his way to take Rei-sempai home.
"Are you two on a date?" Mamoru-sempai asked, though it didn't seem quite like the question he wanted to ask.
"No, Mamoru-sempai," he said, smiling. "I was just taking Rei-sempai back home. Usa-ko wanted her to meet our mother," he continued, when Mamoru-sempai still seemed to be confused.

"All right, I'll wait for you, then," he said, keeping pace with Trevor-kohai as he and Usagi-san's friend made their way to the place where she seemed to live, folding his arms and waiting outside the torii gates as Trevor-kohai and the girl he was escorting made their way to the temple.
Trevor-kohai returned alone, and Mamoru stood back up.
"Is there something you wanted to talk to me about, Mamoru-sempai?" Trevor-kohai asked, once the pair of them had met up outside the torii gates again.
"Not out here," he said, after the pair of them had left the temple grounds behind. "Come back to my apartment."
"All right," Trevor-kohai said, though there was still a curious expression on his face.
The pair of them moved more quickly after that. Soon enough, they arrived back at the apartment where Mamoru had lived by himself ever since the car accident that had taken not only his parents, but also every memory of his life before it.
"What's going on, Mamoru-sempai?"
"You remember how I asked you to help me find the silver crystal, since it seemed to be the only thing that would help me to recover my memories?" he asked, hoping that he wouldn't have to explain himself again, but knowing that it had been awhile since the pair of them had met for any kind of conversation.
"Yes, I remember," Trevor-kohai said, then tilted his head curiously. "Was there something else?"
"Yes," he said, bracing himself for a moment before he continued; he knew that Trevor-kohai wasn't the kind to mock people for their troubles, but he still didn't like talking about this. "But there's something else: I've been dreaming about a princess, too. I feel like I know her from somewhere, and I think she's the one who's been asking me to find the silver crystal."
Trevor-kohai paused for a long moment, and Mamoru found himself wondering just what it was that the younger boy was thinking. Trevor-kohai seemed to gather himself then, standing up straighter with a look of determination on his face.
"Mamoru-sempai, I'd like to show you something," Trevor-kohai said, reaching into the front of his gakuran and pulling out… a yellow rose, of all things.
Before he could ask anything else, Trevor-kohai reached out for his hand and…

…He felt that same, strange transformation taking hold, and Trevor looked up to see Tuxedo Kamen standing in front of him, reaching up to remove the mask he'd found himself wearing. Doing the same, even as he stepped forward to support Mamoru-sempai as he rocked back on his feet, Trevor gathered himself for a moment, as well.
"Trevor-kun, what is this?" Mamoru-sempai looking at the tuxedos the both of them had ended up in.
And, seeing the both of them standing together, Trevor couldn't help but notice that the only real difference between their respective costumes was the golden color of his mask, and the fact that his cape was about half the length of Mamoru-sempai's own.
"There was something I had to be sure of, before I told you anything else, Mamoru-sempai," he said, letting go of Mamoru-sempai's hand, since he'd found out that Mamoru-sempai was just as much a part of this as he, Usagi, and the rest of their friends were.
"You had to be sure if I was Tuxedo Kamen?" Mamoru-sempai asked, seeming like he was starting to regain at least some of his mental equilibrium.
"Yeah, but there's someone else we need to find; she'll be able to explain things better than I can," he said, allowing his transformation to fade even as Mamoru-sempai did the same.
"All right," Mamoru-sempai said, though he looked and sounded more than a little dubious about everything that was going on.
Trevor took a moment to be glad that he hadn't tried to explain the situation with Luna-sensei to begin with, since Mamoru-sempai might not have been so quick to go with him if he knew that they were both looking for a cat.

As he and Trevor-kun left his apartment, Mamoru found himself wondering just who it was that Trevor-kun wanted the pair of them to meet, and just what he thought they would be able to explain better than Trevor-kun himself would be able to. The sight of a chesnut-haired man with cold, blue eyes walking past them drew his attention for a long moment, and Mamoru-felt a shudder crawling its way up his spine as the man's gaze settled on Trevor-kun. There was just something about the look on his face that Mamoru didn't trust.
Although, for some reason, Mamoru found that he felt like he should recognize the man; it almost felt like he'd just awakened from one of his dreams.
"Did you notice that, Trevor-kun?" he asked, once the pair of them had passed out of the chesnut-haired man's earshot.
"The way he looked at me? Yeah; that was strange," Trevor-kun said, looking more than a bit unsettled, himself.
"Nothing for it now, I guess," he muttered, narrowing his eyes as he looked down the path where the chesnut-haired man had passed by them. "Have you seen whoever it is we're looking for?"
"I know where she usually stays, so we'll be able to find her there," Trevor-kun said, though he was still clearly searching for whoever he'd spoken about when the pair of them had been talking about the dreams he had been having for so long.
"All right," he said, nodding as he followed along in Trevor-kun's wake.
He seemed sure of what he was doing, so Mamoru had decided to trust him.
When Trevor-kun stopped to scoop up a black cat that had been about to cross their path, Mamoru blinked in surprise as he recognized the cat now resting in Trevor-kun's arms.
"Isn't that bun-head's cat?" he asked, feeling like he should have bitten his tongue as soon as he finished speaking; here he was, talking to Trevor-kun, and he still couldn't manage to stop insulting his sister.
"The cat's kind of adopted the two of us," Trevor-kun said, glancing down at the cat in his arms, before turning a disapproving look on him. "She doesn't like it when you call her that, so could you please stop?"
"I'll do my best," he said, not knowing himself if he'd be able to keep any kind of promise that he otherwise might have made.
Glancing at the look on Trevor-kun's face, Mamoru saw that it seemed just as unimpressed as he'd been feeling with himself. "When do you think we're going to be able to find that guy you were talking about?" he asked, not wanting to spend any more time on such an uncomfortable subject than he truly had to.
Trevor-kun looked around, but the place they were standing in now was secluded enough that no one was likely to run across them by accident. He didn't think anyone would be looking, either. For a moment, Mamoru found himself wondering just why Trevor-kun seemed so concerned about who might overhear them.
"Mamoru-sempai, you remember how you've been having dreams about a princess, and the silver crystal?"
"The Silver Crystal?!"
Blinking at the cat in Trevor-kun's arms, the one who had just exclaimed in surprise, Mamoru turned to Trevor-kun to see how he was reacting to all of this.
"Mamoru-sempai, this is one of the things that I thought she would be best suited to explain," Trevor-kun said, holding up the black cat in his arms. "This is Luna-sensei, she's the one who's been working with us."
"Wait, Trevor, let me handle this," the black cat sitting in Trevor-kun's arms said, reaching up to pat him on the cheek with her right, front paw. "Now, Mamoru, you said you've been having dreams about the Silver Crystal?"
Looking from Trevor-kun to the cat in his arms and then back again, Mamoru took a deep breath, gathering himself before he started speaking.
"Ever since the car crash that killed my parents, I haven't been able to remember anything about my life before it happened," he said, focusing on the cat in Trevor-kohai's arms so he wouldn't end up wondering what the younger boy thought of him while he was speaking. "And, ever since then, I've had dreams about a princess, and lately I've heard her asking me to find the silver crystal."
"That sounds a lot like the Sailor Senshi, doesn't it, Luna-sensei?" Trevor-kohai asked, and Mamoru glanced back up to see the curious expression on the younger boy's face.
"It really does," the cat said, nodding, and for a moment Mamoru thought he could see a thoughtful expression on her feline face. "Mamoru-kun, that Princess you've been dreaming about almost sounds like the Moon Princess. Sailor Moon and the rest of the Sailor Senshi have been searching for her ever since they reawakened, since it's their duty to protect her," Luna rubbed her chin with her right paw. "It almost sounds like that car crash you spoke about served as an incomplete awakening of your own memories of the Moon Kingdom."
"That's where the princess I've been dreaming of comes from?" he asked, feeling almost as though he should have realized that on his own; it only made sense for a Moon Princess to come from a Moon Kingdom, after all.
"Yes, but we can talk about that kind of thing later," Luna said, sitting up straighter in Trevor-kun's arms. "There's an enemy called the Dark Kingdom, and I've been sensing the presence of one of their youma in this area."
~SM~
Sighing as she made her way back home, Usagi couldn't help but wonder where Trevor-nii had gotten off to. Seeing the way Akiyama-sensei had acted, even around someone who had clearly loved her, made it seem like she had been possessed by one of the Dark Kingdom's youma. Usagi knew that she should probably wait to confirm that kind of thing with Luna-sensei, since she was the one who knew more about the Dark Kingdom than either her or Trevor-nii.
But neither of them had come back home, so all she was left to do was wait.
Under the circumstances, the sound of Trevor-nii coming back in through the front door brought her right out of her room to greet him. Pausing for a moment to wait for Mom and Shingo-chan to welcome him home, Usagi hurried over to take him up to the room the both of them shared.
"Trevor-nii, did you notice how strange Akiyama-sensei has been acting?" Usagi asked, as soon as she'd shut her door, so that Mom and Shingo-chan wouldn't end up finding out something that could only put them in danger from the Dark Kingdom.
"I haven't noticed that, but Luna-sensei told me that one of the Dark Kingdom's youma was probably possessing her," Trevor-nii said, as the both of them settled down on her bed to talk.
"We should go to that contest and try to save her," she said, folding her arms and standing up.
"Yeah, we should," Trevor-nii said, rising back to his feet. "The contest isn't going to be for a couple days, though, so we might have trouble finding the youma right now. It might still be dormant."
"That just means we'll have a better chance of catching it before it hurts Akiyama-sensei!" she said, grabbing Trevor-nii's right arm so that she could pull him along. "Naru-chan and I were just at her house, so I can take you right back there."
"Wait, Usa-ko," Trevor-nii said, pulling lightly on her arm. "If we're going to be fighting another of the Dark Kingdom's youma, you should probably contact the rest of the Sailor Senshi."
"Right!"
~SM~
He'd managed to get Usagi to agree that she would let him make the first approach, since the Dark Kingdom was interested in him already, he'd be better able to bait one of their youma into attacking before it was ready. Ami-san had given him a communicator and told him to contact them if he ended up being confronted by the youma possessing Akiyama-san.
Usagi also said that they would all come in if he was out of contact for too long, and especially if they suddenly lost contact.
It was a comforting thought, and as he made his way up to the door of the apartment where Usagi and Naru-san had seen Akiyama-sensei, Trevor found that he still felt comforted by the thought. Knocking on the white door in front of him, Trevor paused for a moment as Akiyama-sensei threw it open. She looked angry, at first, but when her gaze settled on him, she smiled in a way that Trevor instantly didn't like.
"Come inside, young man," she said, eyes fixed on him.
Just as he was about to refuse, Trevor caught Akiyama-sensei's eyes and they caught his, and Trevor… Smiled, as Akiyama-chan reached out to take his hand and lead him inside.
"I know," Akiyama-chan said, smiling as she led him to a couch and sat him down on it.
"I love you," he said, as Akiyama-chan reached out to caress his right cheek, settling him down on the couch even as she did so.
"Sweet boy," Akiyama-chan said, then jerked her head at the sound of his communicator going off.
Before he could shut it down, Akiyama-chan reached into his right pocket, snapped the communicator in half and pushed him down onto the couch almost in one, smooth motion.
"Relax, sweet boy," Akiyama-chan said, and Trevor felt her laying him out on the couch as his vision grew soft and hazy…
~SM~
As soon as they'd lost contact with Trevor-nii, Usagi had transformed into Sailor Moon, and she and the rest of the Sailor Senshi stormed the house. Breaking through the door, Usagi saw one of the Dark Kingdom's youma leaning over Trevor-nii, wrapping him up in a cocoon of webs. The youma looked way too much like a spider, so she used her Moon Tiara Action while Rei-chan used her Fire Soul to destroy the youma in front of them.
Hurrying over to Trevor-nii, Usagi helped him to sit up, smiling as he blinked tiredly at her.
"Usa-ko…"
"Trevor-nii, I'm so glad you're all right," she said, smiling as she helped him back to his feet.
Akiyama-sensei was being helped by Rei-chan and Ami-chan, and Usagi left them to it while she focused on getting Trevor-nii back on his feet so that the both of them could leave.
~SM~
Once the pair of them had made their way back home, Trevor found himself thinking about what he and Mamoru-sempai had spoken about earlier that day. He didn't quite know if Usagi would want to hear it, since she wasn't fond of Mamoru-sempai even on good days, but finding out that Mamoru-sempai was still a part of all of this. He also found himself wondering just who he might have been, back during the days of the Moon Kingdom. Maybe he'd find that out, when all of them finally found the Moon Princess they were searching for.
It was something to look forward to, at least.
When he, Usagi, and the rest of their class were invited to Akiyama-sensei's wedding, Trevor found settled back in the crowd to people watch. It had been nice of Akiyama-sensei to invite them all, but even the festive atmosphere of the wedding all around him couldn't really distract Trevor from the thoughts of who he might have been on the Moon Kingdom; thoughts of how Usagi was going to react to Mamoru-sempai joining the Sailor Senshi as someone like him; thoughts of what the Dark Kingdom might try next.
The Dark Kingdom would try something again; they always did.
