Watching the commercial for the new Sailor V movie was kind of fun, but Usagi couldn't help the feeling of wanting an Anime of her own. It would be so cool; maybe she could even have a video game, or a manga of her own. Maybe she could even have fans, her, and Trevor-nii, and Rei-chan, and even Ami-chan; they could all have fans of their own.
It would have been so cool.
Leaning back into Trevor-nii's arms as they curled around her shoulders, Usagi sighed. "I wish they'd make an anime about us, Trevor-nii."
"Really?" he asked, as the pair of them settled down together to watch the rest of the program they'd been watching together.
"Yeah," she said, turning back to smile at him. "But, maybe they could make it a slice-of-life, or something like that," she continued, remembering all of the scary things that she, Trevor-nii, and the rest of the Sailor Senshi had all been through; even Mamoru-baka had been through scary things, though he'd probably never admit it. "I wouldn't want to scare people."
Trevor-nii hummed softly, he probably knew what she'd meant when she'd said that; Trevor-nii always knew.

Walking out of the bookstore, Ami heard someone's voice shouting for someone else named "Kazuko", as a pair of figures dashed by too quickly for her to make out any details on either of them. One of them had dropped a package on their way past, however, so Ami checked to see if there was a name on it. The address on the package was for somewhere called Studio Dive, but now Ami had a different conundrum: she'd only a few more minutes before she was due back at cram school.
She couldn't search for Studio Dive, or the person who dropped their package; not until after cram school, at least.

Back within the walls of his mansion, Nephrite found the constellation of Gemini calling to him. It seemed as though his next target would be an artist of some kind. I suppose now is the time to call upon Castor and Pollux, he mused. Those were two of his most powerful youma, and so likely to have a better chance at defeating the Sailor Guardians; and possibly capturing the schoolboy, when Zoisite inevitably failed again.
With the image of the artist firmly in his mind, Nephrite made his way back into the city once more.

Panting, as he threw himself out of the way of another of those blasts of sakura petals that seemed to be the attack that Zoisite favored for long-range, Trevor forced himself back to his feet just in time to be thrown to the ground.
"Stay down!" Zoisite snarled, and Trevor screamed as the man drove one of those crystal spikes he used for close-range battle into and through his left shoulder.
Dragging his focus back, even through the searing pain in his shoulder, Trevor blasted Zoisite back and flung himself into a narrow alleyway between the pair of buildings that he'd been knocked to the ground in front of. Running as far as he could managed with his shoulder in the state it was, Trevor checked to make sure that Zoisite wasn't about to jump out at him from any of the alleys he'd just run past, then paused to heal his shoulder.
Leaning against the wall of the building he'd taken shelter behind for a long moment, Trevor turned at the sight and sound of a familiar someone coming over to where he was standing.
"Sailor Mercury," he said, smiling tiredly as he saw Ami-san in her Senshi form coming over to him. "I'm glad you're here."
"I'm glad you're all right," Ami-san said, a serious expression on her face. "Is this new enemy from the Dark Kingdom, too?"
"He is; he told me that his name is Zoisite," he said, as Ami-san laid down a fog bank for the pair of them to hide in so that they would be able to get away.

Once she and Trevor-kun had managed to escape from Zoisite, with Trevor-kun filling her in on how the man seemed to have been assigned by someone else higher up in the Dark Kingdom to hunt him down according to what the man himself had said, Ami found herself wondering just how they were going to be able to protect Trevor-kun from the Dark Kingdom. Especially when it seemed like Nephrite had been assigned to attack people for their energy, while Zoisite hunted Trevor-kun in particular.
Jadeite had been doing both, so it had been simpler for Sailor Moon and the rest of the Sailor Senshi to protect him, so having both Nephrite and Zoisite here was a problem they would need to solve; Usagi-chan would probably want to have it solved quickly, but it was starting to seem like that wasn't going to be possible.
Ami was only glad that she'd been able to help Trevor-kun before something too terrible had happened to him. Something worse than being stabbed in the shoulder, which he'd clearly already healed. She couldn't imagine what would happen to Trevor-kun if he was ever taken by the Dark Kingdom. She hoped that she and the rest of the Sailor Senshi would be able to stop anything like that from happening.

When he'd managed to find the artist who was to provide her energy to the Dark Kingdom, Nephrite made his way into the building, looking around at all of the art, some of it posted on the walls and a great deal more laid out on tables all around him. Sweeping his gaze over the walls and tables, all of them filled with art of what looked like one of the Sailor Guardians who had been causing him, Queen Beryl, and the rest of the Dark Kingdom so much trouble, Nephrite found himself growing more and more annoyed.
Harvesting this girl's energy for the Dark Kingdom, therefore, would be particularly enjoyable.
Making his way over to the desk where the girl was sitting, Nephrite smiled slightly; he was going to enjoy this.
"I apologize, I didn't mean to startle you," he said, looking down at the girl with as soft an expression as he could manage, under the circumstances. "You're Hiromi Matsuno, is that correct? I'm a big fan of yours," he said, when the girl didn't say anything in response; that, at least, seemed to catch her attention. "And, I suppose I just wanted to see your workplace for myself."
"Wait!" the girl exclaimed, as he took the pencil she had been using, implanting Castor and Pollux into the pencil, pausing for a long moment to give them their orders.
As ever, it would be their duty to build this girl's energy to the very peak, and then to harvest it for the Dark Kingdom; a process he would particularly enjoy, considering what the girl was so deeply involved in.
"All that's left is to lure the Sailor Guardians here," he muttered on his way out.
Climbing back into the red car he'd found himself becoming more and more fond of, Nephrite stopped short at the sight of Sailor Mercury, as well as that schoolboy who'd proven to be such a troublesome one to catch.
"Nephrite!" the Sailor Guardian snapped, once the pair of them had caught each others' gaze, and she could hence be certain that she had his attention. "You're up to something again, aren't you?! We won't stand for your attacks on innocent people!"
"You or Zoisite!" the schoolboy said, clearly drawing courage from Sailor Mercury's presence so close to him; it was, then, likely the reason that he stayed so close to the Sailor Guardians as a whole. "We'll stop you from hurting innocent people!"
"Well, you've both certainly saved me a lot of trouble," he said, smiling amusedly at them, even as he leaped forward to swat Sailor Mercury aside; and also to make a grab for the schoolboy she was shouting, but he was at least clever enough to leap backwards. "I've prepared the perfect youma to deal with you. In the meantime, I suggest you practice fighting," he called back, slamming the door on the sight of the schoolboy helping Sailor Mercury back to her feet.
It was interesting, if not more than a little troublesome.

Watching Nephrite drive away, Trevor couldn't help but be unsettled by how well it seemed that Nephrite had integrated himself into society. Ami-san had called him Masato Sanjoin-san, which meant that Nephrite had tied himself deeply enough into society that he could move around under a name that would sound normal to anyone who didn't know what he truly was. Shuddering, even as he followed Ami-san into Studio Dive, Trevor found himself wondering just which poor person had found themselves targeted by Nephrite this time.
He'd have to at least try to help them, whoever they ended up being.
Looking over at Ami-san, as she met up with one of the workers at the studio, he turned at the sight of someone else making their way over to where the pair of them were standing. Their gaze passed over Ami-san and the girl she was talking to, settling on him for a long moment, before they turned and made their way into a room just off from the front door. He wondered about that, even as the girl Ami-san was talking to called out to Hiromi-san before she made it into the room.
Hiromi-san closed the door without a word, however, and Trevor found himself wondering if she was the one who had been targeted by Nephrite this time; he'd talk to Ami-san once the pair of them had left for the night.

The next day, during school break when the three of them had all gathered together with Luna-sensei and after she and Trevor-kun had discussed his suspicions about what might be happening to Hiromi-san, Ami found herself with Luna-sensei cradled in her arms.
"That was a dangerous thing you both did," Luna-sensei admonished the both of them, looking like she'd be glaring at them if she'd been capable of those kinds of human expressions.
"I'm sorry about that," she said, feeling more than a little foolish about how impulsive she and Trevor-kun had truly been.
"Luna-sensei's right!" Usagi-chan added sharply. "I'd have rushed right over there if either of you had called me. Though, I guess it was a good thing that you ran into Trevor-nii when you did."
"Yeah, I don't like thinking about what Zoisite might have done to me if you hadn't gotten there when you did," Trevor-kun said, a shaky sort of smile on his face.
Usagi-chan went right over to hug him, before Ami herself could think of anything that might have made Trevor-kun feel better, but then she realized that there was something that she could do.
"We could all go to Studio Dive together," she said, smiling as Usagi-chan turned back to her with a wide, cheerful grin.
"Thanks, Ami-chan," Usagi-chan said, smiling as she leaned against her older brother. "I'll let Rei-chan know, and then we can all go."
"We still have to find out what Nephrite's planning there," Trevor-kun said, still looking a bit worried, but more relaxed than he had been previously.
Ami could be happy about that, at least.

"My, don't you look calm," Zoisite said, brazenly making his way over to where Nephrite sat, indulging himself in a drink.
"You're one to talk," he said, glancing over at the man who had proved himself to be so annoying. "I don't see that schoolboy with you."
Zoisite turned, a look of annoyance on his face. "He's been under the protection of those annoying Sailor Guardians for this entire day."
"I suppose you'll be explaining that to Queen Beryl yourself," he said, casting a last, annoyed glance at Zoisite as he glared in response.
"How is your plan going, then?" Zoisite demanded, clearly not in any kind of mood to have his own flaws pointed out; it had always been a problem for the younger man.
"My current plan is going perfectly well," he said, watching annoyance play over Zoisite's young face, even as he took another drink.
"Well, you certainly sound confident," Zoisite said, annoyance writ large across his narrow face. "Let's see how all of this goes."
With that last word, Zoisite vanished, back to Queen Beryl and the Dark Kingdom, and Nephrite returned to his drink.

When all of them had left school and made their way to Studio Dive, Trevor found himself worried all over again for Hiromi-san. The more time he'd spent thinking about how she'd reacted to his presence last night, the more certain he'd become that she was the one Nephrite had targeted this time. He still didn't quite know what Hiromi-san could have been involved in, to draw Nephrite's attention the way she had, but there was no more doubt in his mind that Hiromi-san was Nephrite's latest target.
Now, it was only a matter of protecting her when Nephrite's youma came to this place.
Keeping an eye on Rei-san and Usagi, and casting the occasional glance at Ami-san as she watched the various animators at work, Trevor made sure to keep himself out of the way of anyone who might be making their way through the aisles and rows of desks in the large, open space of the interior of Studio Dive. Usagi looked over at him, smiling as she waved him over to the animator she and Rei-san had been watching work. He smiled back, making his own way over to where she and Rei-san were both standing.
The pair of them were trying to be quiet, though it was clear that the both of them were excited about watching the animator at work; turning to look over at Ami-san again, he saw that she'd settled down on a chair at the far end of the room to speak to Kazuko-san. The pair of them didn't look worried, so Trevor didn't think Ami-san would appreciate him interrupting them to check on her.
The sight of someone else, making their way over to where he, Usagi, and Rei-san were all standing drew his attention, and Trevor found himself facing the stern, unimpressed face of Hiromi-san. Of course, she only looked that way when her gaze passed over Usagi and Rei-san. When Hiromi-san turned to him, her gaze became more interested, and a small smile emerged on her face.
"I'm surprised these girls actually managed to convince you to come back here, of all places," Hiromi-san said, making her way over to him, and even going so far as to put her hand on his right shoulder. "Come on, I'll show you what I've been working on."
"Thank you, Hiromi-san, but I-"
"No need to thank me," Hiromi-san said, moving to pull him along, seeming not to care about anything he'd just said, or the way he'd attempted to duck out from under the arm she'd curled around his shoulders. "I needed some new inspiration, anyway."
"Hiromi, wait!" Kazuko-san called, as Hiromi-san continued to drag him along, toward what looked like the same room she'd been working in, when he and Ami-san had first come to Studio Dive on the trail of Nephrite's next plan and whatever youma he had assigned to carry it out.
"Hiromi-san, the director wants to speak with you," one of the other animators called, holding up a phone that he and Hiromi-san had passed on their way to the workroom that Hiromi-san seemed entirely too determined to walk him into.
"Right, I'll take that," Hiromi-san said, taking the phone, even as she moved the arm she'd wrapped around his shoulders down to his waist to keep him in place. He could really only hear Hiromi-san's side of the conversation, but she seemed more driven than anyone else he'd heard even in this place; she almost reminded him of the way Mika-chan had been, for those few moments he'd been cognizant enough to observe anything at all during those times. "Boss, about that last scene: I'm going to introduce a new love interest."
Hiromi-san glanced over at him as she said that, smiling in the strange way he'd seen Mika-chan smile, at least for that brief moment when he'd been awake to see it, and as Hiromi-san marched him into the room she'd been working in, Trevor cast a speaking glance back at Usagi. It was clear to him now that Hiromi-san was the one that Nephrite had targeted this time, and as he caught Usagi's attention, he saw her straightening up.
There was a determined look on her face, and Trevor allowed himself to relax; there wasn't going to be much more that he could do against Hiromi-san than he'd been able to do against Mika-chan, in the end.

Bringing the boy who'd inspired her so much along with her as she made her way out of the building, Hiromi grabbed his chin, looking into his eyes before leaning in to kiss him on the cheek. She wasn't going to steal his first kiss, of course, but he was cute enough, and as she took him up to the rooftop with her, Hiromi ruffled his short, black hair. It was just as soft as she'd been expecting, and Hiromi found herself smiling again.
As the pair of them made their way up to the rooftop together, Hiromi found that while she was starting to feel a bit cold, she also felt a lot lighter; everything felt right, from the way she'd come up here in the first place, to the boy standing next to her. Even the sight of Kazuko and those other girls coming after her didn't take away from the lightness – the rightness – that Hiromi was feeling at this very moment.
"Kazuko," she said, in response to the other girl's call. "You really think you're better than me, don't you?"
"No, I never-"
"You let what little talents you had go to your head," she cut in, before Kazuko could try to confuse her with any more excuses. "But now, I'm the one who's on a roll! As long as I have this pencil!" she shouted, raising her pencil to the sky, even as she wrapped her arm tighter around the boy she'd brought up with her.
She really was going to use him as inspiration for Sailor V's new love interest, and she might even decide to date him when she was done…

The sudden surge of evil energy let Rei know that Nephrite's youma was just about to appear, and that it was a powerful one, but not that there were going to end up being two of them. It was troublesome, but even more troublesome was the way Zoisite appeared in the air above them.
"Well, it seems you've done my work for me," the man said, and Rei could practically hear the self-satisfied grin on his face. "I'll be taking that."
"What, so you can take the credit from Master Nephrite?" the red youma, who had its arms wrapped around Trevor-kun's chest – just below Trevor-kun's own arms, in fact – demanded, looking up at Zoisite as their new enemy descended.
"We're not about to allow you to take credit for our capture!" the blue youma, who had its arms wrapped around Trevor-kun's legs, shouted up to Zoisite as he dropped down towards them.
She, Ami-chan, and Usagi-chan had taken the opportunity presented by Zoisite's appearance to transform, but the three of them seemed a lot more focused on each other than any of the Sailor Sensei who were currently facing them. Neither Zoisite nor either of the youma that Nephrite had sent seemed concerned about Hiromi-san or Kazuko-san, so she and Ami-chan had carried the two of them out of the way of any stray attacks, while Usagi-chan looked out for them.
When the blue youma actually used Sailor Mercury's Bubble Spray to try to drive Zoisite off, Rei found herself startled at first, but then the red youma used her own Fire Soul and Rei was able to calm herself down. Yes, it was true that the pair of youma in front of them – the ones they would have been facing in battle if not for Zoisite appearing in front of them – seemed to be able to use two of their attacks, but neither of them seemed to know how to use Usagi-chan's.
That was one thing they had in their favor.
With Zoisite distracting the two youma, she, Ami-chan, and Usagi-chan were able to combine their three attacks to destroy the two youma, and then she drove off Zoisite with another Fire Soul. Smiling slightly as Usagi raced to catch Trevor-kun before he could fall to the ground, Rei sighed softly as she looked up into the sky. It looked like Nephrite wasn't the only enemy they were going to have to worry about.
~SM~
"Damn those Sailor Guardians! They might've scarred my beautiful hand!"
"You shouldn't have interfered with my operation, then," Nephrite snapped in return, not remotely in the mood for Zoisite's whining about his self-inflicted injury.
"I wouldn't have needed to interfere, if you'd stop attempting to capture that schoolboy," Zoisite snarled. "Queen Beryl gave me that assignment."
"The schoolboy was my assignment before you ever decided to involve yourself, Zoisite," he said, no longer interested in anything Zoisite had to say.
It was frustrating, to have the schoolboy slip through his hands again, but at the moment it seemed a small price to pay to frustrate Zoisite's own efforts.
