Nya was doing a bit of training outside the keepers' village in a lush and oddly colored jungle of the Island of the keepers. The ninja were helping out the keepers for a day after the whole fake Wojira fiasco, and Nya was on her break but decided to get a little exercise by training. Nya continued to train until she ended up under a canopy of trees blocking some of the sunlight. Then she noticed something out of the ordinary fall from the trees. It was an odd red color, contrasting the bright greens and purple that surrounded her saw.
Nya looked around for the culprit who managed to get past her and saw a small bouquet of these beautiful red roses. She picked the bouquet up and smelled it. With it came a tiny note attached. It read "Happy Valentine's Day, love" in blue with handwriting that Nya recognized. "Oh today's Valentine's Day!" Nya thought to herself.
With the whole Island adventure, Nya totally forgot about it. It was like Jay to remember things like anniversaries and birthdays in the most deadly of situations. He must be around here somewhere. It must have been hard finding a red rose in the tropical client.
She loved Jay's little romantic gestures and pranks too.. One of Nya's fondest moments with Jay was when he pretended that he didn't know the meaning of roses, so Nya began ranting about them. When she got to the meaning of red roses he was there smiling when she said that red roses mean "I love you." Yeah, she was flushed like a red rose after she realized what she said and Jay was laughing after his little joke. The two agreed that this I love you wouldn't count as Nya's first but Jay would consistently remind her of it. Now all she needed to do was thank Jay, and Nya knew the perfect way to get him out
"I guess I owe someone a kiss!" Nya said loud enough for a certain someone to hear. However, all she got as a response was some loud rustling, probably Jay trying to make his escape. "That normally works," Nya said, confused.
Nya decided to continue on and wait for him back at the Keepers village. Unbeknownst to her, Jay popped out from one of the trees. "Happy Valentine's Day, my love," he whispered and blew her a kiss before quickly ducking before she could spot him. He decided that he wanted to have a little game of hide and seek before he got that kiss.
~The End~
I love my cuties... yeah I'm coping. I accidentally made a pun early that I'm not going to include because I'll cry even more.
