Chapter 14:
Traverse Town:
Sora spoke with Merlin. "I understand why you sent me there," says Sora, "thank you."
"I'm glad to help," says Merlin.
"Hold it," says Asha, "there's a keyhole you missed!"
"What," asks Sora, "where?"
"The Olympic Coliseum," says Asha.
Hollow Bastion:
"Pete may be down, but there's still one chance. Hades, you mind?"
"Sure thing, Ansem," says Hades.
Olympic Coliseum:
Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive, only to see Hercules having trouble with two giant monsters.
"Like my boys," asks Hades, "they're called Titans!" One was made of rock and had to heads and the other was made of ice.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy then helped Hercules take then on. These two terrible Titans were probably the toughest so far, but Sora used the power of his Keyblade and sent them back to Tartarus! With that, Sora and his friends are now the Campions of Phil's tournament. Hades was not amused. Donald used his magic to put Hades' hair out.
Sora then uses his keyblade on the keyhole. Now, the Heartless can't return to this world either.
Traverse Town:
"That light at the end of the tunnel..." says Kairi.
"Oh, your grandma's story, right," asks Sora.
"That's right," says Kairi, "we were together."
"You know what's funny," asks Sora, "I looked everywhere for you, but you were with me all along. Finally, we're together. Now, it's time to get Riku back."
Sora: If I could see what's out there
I would travel anywhere
And then I would've had a care
You know what I'm saying
Kairi: There's more beyond this place
Just sitting around is such a waste
We could go to any space
Trust me, I'm not playing
Sora: To see the world
And all the other lands
That is my goal
That is my plan
Kairi: We can't just stay in one place
We have to see the others
I'd like to know if I have
A father and a mother.
Sora: And then we can go together
Kairi: It'd be a great adventure
Sora/Kairi: Adventure
Sora: We could see them all
Sora/Kairi: Adventure
Kairi: And we could have a ball
Sora/Kairi: Adventure
Sora: Where we live is great and all
But sometimes, I get a little bored
Kairi: I know what you mean
I want something more
Sora: We could see the kingdoms
And all the heroes
Kairi: We could meet the princesses
And show everyone we're not zeroes
Sora/Kairi: Adventure
Sora: We could see them all
Sora/Kairi: Adventure
Kairi: And we could have a ball
Sora/Kairi: Adventure
Sora: And maybe I could figure out what my dream was telling me
Kairi: There's so much I want to see
Sora: And as long as we have each other
Kairi: We will never fall
Sora: So, are you ready?
Kairi: Let's go see them all
Sora/Kairi: Adventure
Sora: We could see them all
Sora/Kairi: Adventure
Kairi: And we could have a ball
Sora/Kairi: Adventure!
"You think it will ever be the same again between us," asks Kairi, "Riku lost his..."
"When I turned into a Heartless, you saved me," says Sora, "remember? I was lost in the darkness. I couldn't find my way. As I stumbled through, I started forgetting things, my friends, who I was. The darkness almost swallowed me, but then I heard a voice- your voice. You brought me back."
"I didn't want to just forget about you, Sora," says Kairi, "I couldn't."
"That's it," says Sora, "our hearts are connected. And the light from our hearts broke through the darkness. I saw the light. I think that's what saved me. No matter how deep the darkness, a light shines within. I guess it's more than just a fairy tale."
"Well, let's go," says Kairi, "wait, isn't there something you should do first?"
"Right," says Sora. Sora then uses his Keyblade on the Keyhole. "Anyway, you can't go."
"Why not," asks Kairi.
"Because it's way too dangerous," says Sora.
"Come on, Sora," says Kairi, "we made it this far by sticking together. You can't go alone."
"Kairi, even if we're apart, we're not alone anymore," says Sora, "right?"
"I can help," asks Kairi.
"You'll kind of be in the way," says Sora.
"Okay," says Kairi, "you win." Kairi hands her lucky charm to Sora. "Be sure to bring it back to me."
"Don't worry, I will," says Sora.
"Promise," asks Kairi.
"Promise," says Sora.
"Don't ever forget," says Kairi, "wherever you are, I'm always with you."
End of the World:
Riku's alone in a dark void, but he's on some sort of bridge. All he could think about was Sora and Kairi. There's only one way out, but he's going to need Sora! They need to close the door from both sides to save Riku's heart!
Traverse Town:
"I can't believe we managed to return all the puppies," says Goofy.
"Let's go," says Sora.
"99 puppies," says Donald, "poor parents."
"Actually, most of them are adopted," says Merlin.
Hollow Bastion:
The three return to Hollow Bastion and find the Beast.
"Where's Belle," asks Sora.
"Still in the castle," says the Beast.
"Against her will," asks Goofy.
"No, I think she stayed for a reason," says the Beast, "the other princesses are in as well."
"I wonder why," says Donald.
"Let's ask them," says Sora, "you ready, Beast?"
"Please, call me Adam," says the Beast.
...
Adam finds Belle. "Belle," says Adam.
...
"You've come to seal the keyhole, right," asks Belle, "please be careful. The darkness is raging deep inside. We've been holding it back, but we can't hold out much longer."
"We'll take care of it," says Sora.
...
Sora, Donald, and Goofy find the keyhole, but they have to fight this large heartless. Sora then summons Mushu to help take it down.
...
After defeating the heartless, they go to the keyhole. "Now, let's go and seal that big keyhole," says Goofy.
"Sora, you did it," says Leon.
...
"What are you guys doing here," asks Sora.
"This is our childhood home," says Aerith.
"It's in worse shape than I thought," says Leon, "it used to be so peaceful..."
"Don't worry," says Aerith, "if we defeat Ansem, all should be restored. Including your island."
"Really," asks Sora.
"But it also means goodbye," says Yuffie.
"Once the worlds are restored, they'll be seperate again," says Aerith.
"Everyone will go back to where they came from," says Yuffie.
"Then I'll visit you guys with the gummi ship," says Sora.
"It's not that simple," says Leon.
"Before all this, you didn't know about other worlds, right," asks Yuffie.
"Because every world was isolated," says Aerith, "impassable walls devided them.
"The Heartless destroyed those walls," says Yuffie, "but if the worlds return, so will those walls."
"Which means gummi ships will be useless," says Leon.
"So, you're saying we'll never..."
"We may never meet again," says Leon, "but we'll never forget each other."
"No matter where we are," says Aerith, "our hearts will bring us together again."
"Besides, I couldn't forget you even if I wanted to," says Yuffie.
"What's that supposed to mean," asks Sora.
"Sora," Donald calls.
"Hurry," says Goofy, "come and close the Keyhole!"
"Sora, good luck," says Leon.
...
Sora uses the Keyblade on the Keyhole.
...
Sora, Donald, and Goofy then met with the Princesses. "Thank you, Sora," says Cinderella, "I think the darkness has begun to weaken."
"But I can feel a powerful darkness growing stronger somewhere far away," says Jasmine.
"It's the heart of the darkness," says Aurora, "it must be where Ansem went."
"Then we'll take the Gummi ship to deal with both Ansem and the Heartless," says Sora.
"A worthy answer, Keyblade Master," says Cinderella, "we offer you our power."
End of the World:
Sora, Donald, and Goofy have made it to the End of the World. When they got there, Goofy holds up his shield, Donald touches his staff to it, and Sora touches his Keyblade to it. They then took a look.
"Gawrsh, is that all that's left of the worlds taken by the Heartless," asks Goofy.
"Those worlds will be restored when we beat Ansem, right," asks Sora.
"You betcha," says Donald.
"But if we do beat him and all those worlds become restored and disconnected, what's gonna happen to this place? And to us?"
"Well, uh..." Donald tried to think.
"This is a Heartless world," says Goofy, "so maybe it will just disappear." Sora and Donald then look at Goofy. "But no worries. Even if this place goes poof, our hearts ain't goin' nowhere. I'm sure we'll find our pals again. Yup, I just know that we will."
"Yeah, you're right," says Sora. He then looks at Kairi's lucky charm.
...
After fighting so many Heartless, the three arrive at this strange mountain. "I didn't think you'd come," says Ansem, "welcome to Bald Mountain!"
"Ansem, what is this," asks Sora.
"A playmate I have for you," says Ansem, "Sora, meet Chernabog!"
Chernabog then awakens.
"What is with villains and giants," asks Sora.
The three then fought Chernabog. He may have been the toughest opponent they have ever faced! They were barely tickling him. Then Sora seens some church bells and threw his Keyblade at them, causing them to ring, weakening Chernabog. Sora, then Donald, and Goofy then defeat him.
"Why are those even here," asks Ansem, "if you want something done right, do it yourself!"
Sora, Donald, and Goofy then take on Ansem, but he starts beating them down. "I won't give up," says Sora, "I will save Riku!"
"Your voice can't even reach him where he is," says Ansem, "his heart belongs to darkness! All worlds begin in darkness, and all so end. The heart is no different. The heart is no different. Darkness spreads in it, it grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came. You see, darkness is the heart's true essence."
"That's not true," says Sora, "the heart may be weak, and some times it even gives in, but I've learned that deep down, there's a light that never goes out!"
"I suppose I will have to teach you that every heart must return to darkness," says Ansem.
The fight goes on, but then a field surrounds Sora and Ansem, keeping Donald and Goofy out. Ansem then turns to a giant shadowy monster.
"See," asks Sora, "this is what I'm talking about? I guess I should be glad Oogie Boogie didn't go giant."
The fight goes on, but then Sora manages to beat the giant shadow. Sora was then fighting Ansem himself. Then the whole area was covered in darkness. "Behold the endless abyss," says Ansem, "within it lies the heart of all worlds: Kingdom Hearts!" They then saw it. "Look as hard as you are able. You'll not find even the smallest glimmer of light. From those dark depths are all hearts born. Even yours. Darkness conquors all worlds!" Ansem then became another giant monster.
"You're right," says Donald, "that does happen a lot."
Donald and Goofy then disappear. It was up to Sora. He then thought about Riku. Sora then flew to Ansem. Sora then used all the power of his Keyblade and defeated Ansem. He even got Donald and Goofy back.
"This can't be," says Ansem, "Kingdom Hearts will will me with darkness!"
"You're wrong," says Sora, "I know, for a fact, Kingdom Hearts is light!"
The door then shines a light that destroys Ansem.
The three then run to the door and attempt to shut it. Goofy then sees something. "Stop staring," says Donald, "and keep pushing!"
Donald then looks and he and Goofy both see the Heartless.
They then keep trying. "Don't give up," says Riku, "come on, Sora! Together, we can do it!"
"I take back what I said about you," says Donald.
"And I take back what I said about your Mother," says Goofy.
"Wait, what did you say about my Mother," asks Riku.
"Nothin'," says Goofy, "let's just all make sure the worlds are happy... except for your Mother."
Riku's more confused.
Anyway, they were still trying to close the doors, but then something was destroying the Heartless. It turned out to be King Mickey! Remember him? He's the reason Donald and Goofy were doing this in the first place!
"Now, Sora," says Mickey, "let's close this door for good!" He had a golden keyblade.
"Close it, quick," says Donald.
"But," Sora begins.
"Don't worry," says Mickey, "there will always be a door to the light!"
"You can trust King Mickey," says Goofy.
"Now," says Riku, "they're coming!"
"Donald, Goofy, thank you," says Mickey.
Sora closes the door. "Take care of her," says Riku.
The door's closed and Sora uses the Keyblade to seal it shut while Mickey uses his keyblade. The door then disappeared.
Sora then sees Kairi and runs to her. Donald and Goofy felt sadness. But it will be some time before he can return to her. But all the worlds were restored.
Out of the Story:
"And that is how Sora saved the worlds," says Jiminy.
"But what about King Mickey and Riku and..." Sofia begins.
"Easy, Princess," says Jiminy, "those are stories for other times. Just remember, there is nothing stronger than a pure heart!"
...
End credits would play.
Mid-Credits Scene:
Since those are all the range, I thought you kids would like to see this!
"So, Ansem was defeated! Well, this should be interesting." That fellow is Xehanort!
Post-Credits Scene:
Now, here's a post-credits scene. I remember when the end credits were the end. Anyway, Sora, Donald, and Goofy are now walking through a field.
"So, now what do we do," asks Donald.
"We've gotta find Riku and King Mickey," says Sora.
"But where do we start lookin'," asks Goofy, "for that there door to the light?"
The three then stop and realize they have a lot of work ahead of them. The three then see Pluto.
"Pluto," asks Donald.
"Hey, Pluto," says Goofy, "where have you been?" They then see an envelope in his mouth. "Gawrsh, that's the King's seal!"
"Hey, have you seen King Mickey," asks Sora. Pluto then runs and the three chase after him.
"For the last time," says this one guy, "we don't want to buy any cupcakes!"
"But we're offering a great deal," says Isabella.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy run past them. The adventure continues and this cricket has more stories to tell.
