No-One But You (The Mystic Consultant) - Part 1

Chapter 75: Red Lights (Part 5)

Ok, so...

Some real-time nick-knack paddywhack, give a dog a bone, shit was going on in that moment.

Tony Stark was responsible for it, and Wade Wilson was the bait. Stark played his cards right, and he was able to finally observe Ezekiel's behavior towards Deadpool.

It was perfect. Tony slowly swallowed.

He kept quiet as he listened to a distorted version of Ezekiel's voice. He said something about getting rid of filth. The words reached Tony's ears, but he didn't react.

Obadiah's son wasn't sick. It was complicated, just like he said.

The suit Ezekiel wore used a massive amount of force. He was finally showing its real strength for the first time as he drove the bizarre mercenary down hard into the ground below them.

Steve Rogers was much closer at that point. He thought about using his shield once he noticed a translucent vapor exit from within the white armor.

Deadpool became covered with it and a layer of his suit began to dissolve. It slowly dissolved and Wade kinda freaked out. His arms and hands were still secure beneath Ezekiel's armor, but the mercenary could only hold back what was in front of him.

Wade gripped the faceplate of the suit on top of him and he screamed out because everything began to melt around him.

Within seconds, parts of his already damaged skin was exposed and Wade felt like he was in actual danger for the first time in a while.

The face of Ezekiel's suit even altered how it looked. It began to attack him like a rabid dog. The arms of the suit actually scratched him. It's design took shape with a mouth and teeth.

Deadpool looked up at what he technically created and he began to kick his goofy legs.

"HEY GUYS?! CAN I GET A LITTLE HELP HERE!?"

UHhh, hello? Deadpool didn't realize that he signed up to actually die. He tried to get out from under whatever Ezekiel Stane had become. Wade almost managed to turn the two of them over, but his face and chest were almost bitten. He tried to hold the vicious suit back from his face.

Bucky Barnes seriously wanted some popcorn as he looked upon the encounter. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, and wearing the technology helped him achieve a better look.

Bucky was able to zoom in, and he was enjoying the show.

Deadpool managed to force the rabid suit over onto it's back. His own suit was holding on for dear life as he manuvered his way over the altered Ezekiel.

He wondered what happened to the person inside the suit. What happened to that quiet young man? Where the hell did he go? Wade almost asked as he pressed his weight over him and he wrestled with what was moving below.

He didn't dominate the situation for very long, because someone from the outside saw what was happening and intervened. Something slammed into Deadpool with a ton of force and he was knocked off of Ezekiel entirely.

The mercenary went flying as far as the eye could see...

Bucky Barnes watched him suddenly shoot off toward the moon, and the not-so-winter soldier had to laugh. The situation was crazy, but he couldn't stop watching for a second.

Victor Strange did the damage. He arrived at the scene just when Deadpool took control of Ezekiel's suit. Witnessing that sparked a memory, so the baby Strange sent him flying.

Victor couldn't stomach what he witnessed between Ezekiel and Wade Wilson in that moment. It seemed like the violence had slowly phased out of the equation, but...

Ezekiel slowly drew in a few breaths. He was trying to get rid of an internal mess, in a sense. The Jackal sat up after a moment, then he looked toward his right.

Things were a little clearer for Victor at that point, but he still felt troubled. I mean, he...

He was right there when Deadpool almost killed him. Victor saw the whole thing, and he thought that Ezekiel had died right beside him. It affected Victor more than anyone knew, because he was left alone.

The baby sorcerer tried not to see it in a negative way, but his mind naturally migrated in that direction. Ezekiel kept him in the dark as well, just like his brother.

Victor tried to ignore the feelings that emerged. He closed his eyes again, then he started looking around the pack of people.

They all seemed so, busy. Busy? Possibly. He heard Wade Wilson off in the distance. They all heard the mercenary say something sarcastic. None of it seemed to affect Ezekiel tho.

The "White Jackal" eventually stood up. He was pulled aside by Steve Rogers. Victor watched him walk Ezekiel away from all the others, and the whole world sorta ... carried on.
