"Team, let's move. I think we're being followed," Aoba said, looking at Sakura, Ace, and Kaza as the rest of Team Asuma slept. "We can hide and ambush them before they get into range. Kaza, find us a good place to set up the ambush. Sakura, prepare to use a genjutsu. Ace, be ready to join me in entering the fight immediately. Got it?"

"Team Asuma will remain here to protect the convoy in case I'm wrong. If I'm wrong, we can get back in time. Kaza, keep tabs on Ino via mental telepathic communication. If something happens here, she can tell us, and we can adjust our plan on the fly. Don't worry; I'm sure you two can communicate. She will send you a message if Team Asuma needs us," Aoba added, ensuring everyone knew the plan and their roles.

The three nodded their heads and moved forward along the trail, following Kaza as he scouted for the right spot. He found it at a fallen log and set to work, preparing it with several explosive tags. Additionally, he set up a couple of traps he had learned from his dad, including a hidden spike trap along the path of least resistance and another covering the shortcut to the convoy.

"Okay, got it," he said, pulling back and looking at the others.

"Alright," Aoba said, "the moment the traps go off, use the confusion to launch the genjutsu, Sakura." He glanced at her, ensuring she was ready. "Once that happens, Ace and I will attack the confused and hopefully panicked group, and we'll take the fight to them."

Sakura nodded, her hands already forming the seals she would need. Ace flexed his fingers, the fire of determination burning in his eyes. The members of the team moved and settled quickly into their places that overlooked the narrow path. It was a perfect ambush point for them to use and it would hopefully work out perfectly. Aoba kept an eye on the spot as he was prepared to give direct orders and take charge. Yet, he wanted to give the kids a chance to show their teamwork and leadership abilities.

The attack happened just as Kaza had predicted. A group of ten or so bandits emerged from the direction they had anticipated. As the bandits entered the prepared area, the explosive tags detonated, causing a series of explosions that felled several trees and blocked off their path of escape. Amid the chaos and confusion, Sakura immediately activated her genjutsu, casting it over the area.

The bandits, disoriented by the explosions and now trapped in Sakura's illusion, stumbled and looked around in confusion. Some of them froze, their minds ensnared by the genjutsu, making them easy targets.

"Now!" Aoba commanded.

Ace and Aoba sprang into action. Ace moved quickly, his hands already forming seals as he prepared to unleash his Blaze Release. His movements were swift and precise, targeting the bandits who were not completely immobilized by the genjutsu. Fiery fists and feet struck with devastating force, disarming and disabling the bandits one by one.

Aoba moved with the same efficiency, his taijutsu skills on full display as he incapacitated bandits left and right. His movements were a blur, a testament to his experience and training.

Meanwhile, Kaza maintained his focus, ready to assist or adapt as needed. Did move in as he wanted to be ready to help when and where he was needed. He kept hidden to be a backup should it be needed where he could use the fact he remained a unknown factor to the bandits still.

However Ace's quick strikes, as well as Aoba's overwhelming power and skill was able to quickly handle and neutralize the bandit threat that was before them capturing them and leaving them crushed due to the coordinated strike by Team Aoba.

As the fight came to an end and the last of the bandits were subdued, Aoba signaled for the team to regroup. "Well done, everyone," he said, a note of pride in his voice. "Sakura, your genjutsu was flawless. Ace, Kaza, excellent work on the front lines and the traps. Let's secure these bandits and report back to Team Asuma and the convoy."

"Everyone, there was a second force. Team Asuma is engaged with them, but I think they should be okay. I think we should hurry back, or at least may I go make sure things are okay there?" Kaza asked, knowing they had to tie up the captured bandits and that would require guards. He could zip over quickly, and he wanted to help out Team Asuma a lot.

Aoba quickly assessed the situation. "Alright, Kaza. You go ahead and assist Team Asuma. Ace, Sakura, and I will secure the prisoners and make sure the convoy is safe. Be quick and stay alert. We'll join you as soon as we're done here."

Kaza nodded, feeling a surge of urgency and determination. He moved swiftly, using his speed and agility to cover the distance back to the convoy as quickly as possible. His mind raced with concern for Team Asuma and the hope that he could make a difference.

As he approached the area where Team Asuma was engaged, Kaza could hear the sounds of battle. Shikamaru's strategic commands, Choji's powerful attacks, and Ino's supportive techniques were all being put to use against the second force of bandits. Kaza took a moment to assess the situation from a distance, noting the positions of both allies and enemies.

He moved with great speed, tapping into his Light Release as he blazed forward. His knee slammed into the head of a bandit that was closing in on Ino. Landing on the ground, he spun to face the remaining enemies; there were not many left.

"Here to help. The group we found was defeated," he said as he attacked, using his quick movements to support the perfect teamwork of Team Asuma as they all used their advantage to support one another.

Kaza danced between attacks, his speed and agility at their peak. He managed to take out a second bandit while Choji used his Human Tank Bullet technique to incapacitate several others. Asuma finished off most of the remaining bandits, ensuring the area was secure.

"Thanks for the assist, Kaza," Asuma said, his tone both appreciative and impressed. "We could have handled it, but you made things a lot easier."

Shikamaru, catching his breath, nodded. "Yeah, good timing. It was getting troublesome."

Ino gave Kaza a grateful smile, her earlier frustration with him replaced by appreciation for his help. "You really saved me there, Kaza. Thank you."

Kaza, a bit flustered but relieved, nodded back. "No problem. Just glad I could help."

With both forces of bandits now defeated, the group regrouped and prepared to return to the convoy. Aoba, Ace, and Sakura met up with them shortly after, having secured the prisoners.

"Looks like we got them all," Aoba said, surveying the scene. "Good work, everyone. Let's get these bandits tied up and make sure the merchants are safe."

"Thank you, sensei," Kaza said as he looked at the others. "I'm glad we could help out. We should be at the beach town pretty soon, right?"

"Yep, about a mile or so away," Sakura confirmed with a nod. "Just over the last hill and down into the coastal town, where the wood and supplies are going to build the new port city."

As they traveled, the view of the town was breathtaking. Nestled in a natural cove, the town featured a long beach outside of a natural harbor area perfect for transportation. Palm trees became more abundant as they neared the coastal area. The sight of a town emerging from nothing was evident, with a few completed buildings and a large headquarters for the workers standing out prominently.

The group took in the scene, a mix of relief and anticipation washing over them as they approached their destination. The fresh sea breeze, the sound of waves, and the sight of the bustling yet still-developing town filled them with a sense of accomplishment.

Ace grinned as he looked around. "Not a bad place to finish up a mission, huh? Maybe we'll get some time to enjoy the beach before heading back."

Shikamaru yawned, stretching his arms. "That would be nice. A little relaxation after all this trouble."

Choji's eyes lit up at the thought of seaside food. "I bet the seafood here is amazing. We should definitely try some."

Ino, walking alongside Kaza, gave him a friendly nudge. "You did great, Kaza. Maybe we can explore the town a bit together once we get settled."

Kaza blushed slightly but smiled back. "That sounds nice. I'd like that."

Aoba and Asuma exchanged satisfied looks, pleased with how well their teams had performed. "Alright, everyone," Aoba said, "let's finish this mission strong. We'll deliver the supplies and then check in with the local officials."

Asuma nodded in agreement. "After that, we can take a little time to rest before heading back. You all deserve it."

"We do have to check out and make sure they don't need our help, plus I agree a bit of fun wouldn't hurt you kids," Aoba said, walking with the genin as Asuma ensured the bandits were secured and the convoy checked in.

Aoba led the team to the one inn in town and, after checking in, he returned with room assignments. "Okay, Shikamaru, Choji, Ace, Kaza—you're sharing a room. Same with you two," he said, indicating Ino and Sakura.

"Sounds good," Shikamaru said with a yawn. "As long as I get a bed, I'm happy."

Choji's focus was already shifting to potential dinner options. "I wonder if the inn has a good kitchen. I'm starving."

Ace grinned at Kaza. "Looks like we'll have plenty of time to unwind, little brother. And maybe a chance to explore the town a bit."

Ino and Sakura exchanged a glance, both excited and relieved to have some downtime. "This is going to be fun, Sakura. We should definitely check out the beach."

Sakura nodded, smiling. "Absolutely. Maybe we can find a good spot to relax and talk."

Aoba and Asuma gave their teams a final nod before heading off to coordinate with the local officials. "Alright, everyone, settle in and take some time to rest. We'll regroup later to see if there are any additional tasks or if we're free to enjoy some downtime," Aoba said.

The two adopted brothers wandered the area, as they walked out onto the beach that late afternoon, the head of the sand noticeable. It was a great view of the ocean as the two of them found some rather colorful shells and even a hermit crab or two scurrying over the sand. They found a patch of trees and among the tree were some that had some tropical fruit hanging from them.

Kaza's eyes lit up when he spotted some tropical plants with unique large seeds. He knelt down to examine them, his curiosity piqued. "I wonder if I could grow these back home," he mused, collecting a few seeds and carefully tucking them into his pouch.

Ace chuckled, watching his younger brother's enthusiasm. "You always find the most interesting things, Kaza. Who knows, maybe you'll bring a piece of this place back with you."

As the pair continued to explore the beach they found the whole place rather peaceful and quiet. They were both able to just enjoy time talking and also exploring. Something that they had done since they were young in the woods around the shrine. Now it was just in a different and unique location. However after a bit they two turned and headed back towards the Inn.

As they walked back towards the inn, Ace glanced over at Kaza. "You know, it's nice to have some time to relax and just be ourselves. Sometimes I forget what that's like."

Kaza nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, it's nice. I think we all needed this."

"Yes, though I think you little brother need to spend some time with Ino tomorrow," He teased as he patted him on the back. "It seems you're finally making some progress on that front after what forever," he teased his brother.

Kaza blushed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, maybe," he admitted shyly. "I just hope I don't mess things up."

Ace laughed, giving his brother a reassuring pat on the back. "Don't worry so much. Just be yourself, and things will work out. You've already shown her that you're strong and capable. Now just show her who you really are."

Kaza nodded, feeling a bit more confident. "Thanks, Ace. I'll try."

Getting back to the town and heading towards the Inn, the two could see the sun setting over the hills that were ahead of them, meaning that it would come up over the ocean in the morning. The two had a good time and exploring the area was fun.

Back at the inn, they joined the others for dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed, filled with the comfortable chatter and laughter of friends and comrades. Aoba and Asuma discussed the next steps for their mission, ensuring that the convoy's arrival and the band's capture were handled smoothly.

Ino and Sakura chatted excitedly about the beach and the possibility of exploring the town further the next day. Ino caught Kaza's eye and gave him a small smile, making his heart skip a beat. Maybe Ace was right, and he was finally making some progress.
