Chapter 18: Forbidden Siren:
Prudence's POV:
I woke up and saw Michi. I think the curse is making her sleepwalk... either that, or we should not have had those nachos before bed.
...
I then Michi go, and I followed her, but when we got out... I heard that sien sound and I was quiTte scaed. I then lost Michi, and I went looking for her.

As I was quiTte looking for Michi, I kept heaing that sien sound. Then I saw someone. It looked like Itsuki... but she's supposed to be dead! She then looked at me with a murdeous glae that also kind of looked unintelligent. Like she was quiTte a zombie, but her eyes ae teaing with blood! I then ran.
...
All the other girls that wee quiTte taken have come back as zombies. They all came for me, but I ran.
...
The zombies kept coming and I kept running from them. I was quiTte in a corner, but then...
"Whatever you're seeing isn't real!" I looked and it was quiTte the boy.
"You're Susumu, right," I asked.
"It's all an illusion," says Susumu, "the girl caused this!"
"I can't hear you over that sien sound," I said.
"There is no siren," says Susumu, "it's all a trick!"
The sound then stopped, and the zombies wee quiTte gone. "They're..."
"This photo will show you what you've been running from," says Susumu.
I looked and... it's the girl! I was quiTte so relieved, I kissed Susumu on the foehead. He was quiTte grossed out.

Befoe I went to find Michi, I decided to learn what the sien's story quiTte was and Susumu says thee's one person who can tell me. "Ae you Saien Mameido?"
"Indeed."

"Long ago, Mother and Otoshigo were created at the beginning of time. After Earth was created, it was in darkness and many dark creatures dwelled in it. When God created light, the creatures combined into one entity and split into 2; one was eventually trapped in a cave in Yamijima, and the other went into the ocean, waiting for its mate. The trapped one became known as Mother, while the sea-dwelling one is named Otoshigo. Mother remained trapped on the island in the Underworld for countless centuries, and Otoshigo spends millennia searching for her. 7 seals surround her location, preventing her from getting out. During her imprisonment, Mother uses entities created by her to try and free her. These creatures, avatars, would go out and manipulate a male into breaking the seals."
"And what does this have to do with the sien," I asked.
"Mother uses the siren to trick humans into killing each other!"
"The curse," I said, "she's using the curse, too!"
"And you can't stop her!" The woman disappears. She's an avaTtar of Mother!
