Kara's fist struck the face of the Citadel soldier, his head struck the sidewalk, she threw her head back sweat dripping from her chin, her hair was plastered to her forehead, and her chest heaved, she placed her fingers to her ear,
"Rachel" She gasped into the microphone, it took a minute for the response to come through.
"Go for me" Rachel's voice cracked through,
"I've got 4 down, what do you need me to do?" Kara asked,
"Communications with Donna and Garfield is still down, we need to get that back up" She responded,
"on it" Kara heard someone asking something in the background "Stay safe," she said quietly.
Donna held the lasso taunt against the struggling Soldier, Garfield swung his shoulder into the large creature, and Donna was nearly drug to the ground by the rope.
She collected it up as Garfield Contorted his body back to normal,
"Great job" She said offering her hand for a high five,
"You too, I can even see you having a career in this" He joked,
"Well I guess I've made it" She laughed.
Garfield's phone pinged and he pulled it out,
"Kara's on her way, some of the coms are down," He said, a minute later Kara landed near them, after she updated them on the situation she turned up her earpiece for the others to hear,
"Rachel, I've got Donna and Garfield here" There was a second of static,
"Are you all ok?" Rachel asked,
"My cars fucked up but we're fine," Donna said,
"WE need to put a rush order on getting civilians to the tower" Rachel was cut off by static.
Artemis hand wrapped around the detonator, her thumb found the button and depressed it, she let it go and quickly pulled the parachute release.
