Corrine was still fussing over someone shoving her mother to the ground she didn't notice that she was being watched from a distance the person who was watching her glared at her soulmates from afar
'Cori should only be mine, she belongs to me' the person thought to themself as they poured something into a glass of wine containing poison to make her sick
Ursulis felt someone watching them and looked up at the second floor but saw no one was standing there 'was it my imagination' Ursulis thought narrowing his eyes slightly
"Who would dare shove my mother to the ground I won't forgive their insolent behavior" Corrine said sounding upset and annoyed Corrine was handed a cup of wine to drink
When Ursulis turned his head away from the upstairs balcony area he looked at the drink Corrine was holding making his eyes widen at the hidden ingredient
"Don't drink that" Ursulis said a little late as Corrine took a sip and immediately felt her blood pulse Ursulis quickly pulled the wine glass out of her grasp
"What's happening?" Aaron asked a little concerned and mildly confused "I don't feel so good" Corrine said as she staggered and fell backwards causing both Ursulis and Aaron to catch her from falling
Ryn gasped in fright covering her mouth everyone in the ballroom screamed in fright for they had not expected this to happen on their soon to be Queen's birthday
Ursulis brought the cup of wine to his nose and sniffed it "sure enough she's been poisoned" Ursulis said bitterly, handing the poisoned cup to a nearby butler to dispose of it
"How could this have happened" Ryn said as Ursulis picked her up bridal style "where is her bedroom, she can rest there while I make an antidote" Ursulis said with urgency in his eyes
Rose interrupted the story with urgency in her tone [Rose- You were poisoned! Why didn't you say anything to any of us I'm sure any of us could have helped you, we're experienced potion makers] Rose fussed
Corrine sweatdropped [Corrine- it's not that I didn't want you...but it was the heat of the moment I was distracted because I was upset so I didn't notice the poison in my cup] she said awkwardly
Ursulis interjected [Ursulis- don't worry her food is being checked daily for poison so no harm will come to her] Ursulis said as Corrine blushed in embarrassment clearing her throat to continue reading
Corrine was being carried to her bedroom by a frantic Ursulis who took a vile of the wine that had been poisoned for the antidote he set her down on the bed and went to work on the antidote
Aaron was even more worried than Ursulis who was quickly making the antidote in a cauldron "is she going to be ok" Aaron asked Ursulis in worry "just keep her conscious" Ursulis replied trying to stay calm
Ursulis finally found the right mixture and poured it into a cup corrine was barely conscious and her body refused to drink the antidote "guess there's no choice" Ursulis said pouring the antidote into his mouth
"Huh what are you doing?!" Aaron said confused and shocked that Ursulis would pour it into his own mouth Ursulis opened up Corrine's mouth and forced her to drink it through a forceful kiss
Aaron's jaw dropped Corrine shook wanting to spit it out but Ursulis made her drink all of it, Corrine after drinking the antidote fell asleep making Ursulis sigh in relief
"Is she ok!" Aaron said slightly panicked "she's out of danger, the antidote detoxified the poison in her bloodstream" Ursulis said rubbing the back of his neck feeling fatigued
"But who would poison Corrine" Aaron said feeling a bit put off and upset "that's what I want to know as well" Ursulis said just as curious about who dared to poison their beloved soulmate in their presence
