Aké and Vaxis meditated in an empty field on the planet of Endor. Vaxis held in her hands two flames as she concentrated.

Back at the home base Shaak Ti stood in the tent as she watched troopers use their gadgets. "The enemy should attack in this area." A trooper pointed and circled at an area on the radar screen. "Hmm!" Shaak Ti mumbled in thought. "Ghost?"

"Yes, Ma'am?" He asked.

"Take your crew and scout ahead."

"Yes, Ma'am!" He saluted, running toward another area he stopped where the rest of his crew rested. "We have an assignment…"

Tymerr was sitting back with his feet propped up on a crate when he sat up, taking his feet off and looked around through the dense empty forest. "There's nothing out here."

"There, expecting an attack."

"We're in the middle of nowhere!" Pryx said, raising his hands in the air.

Ghost placed his hand on the bridge of his nose. "Why are you always… complaining!" He growled.

"You allow us to complain."

"Move it!" He yelled before walking away.

"Why are you always antagonizing the captain?" Fangs asked, opening a crate.

"It's fun." Tymerr laughed, grabbing a field pack, and putting it on his back before grabbing his DC-15LE blaster rifle with an under-barrel grenade launcher attached to it. Grabbing his helmet, he slid it on.

Pryx grabbed two grenade belts and strapped it across his chest, he opened a crate and picked up a grenade launcher (revolver type). Opening the cylinder, he slid in six grenades into six different slots. Grabbing his helmet, he slid it on.

Fangs put a field pack on his back before grabbing out an RPS-6 Rocket Launcher from the crate he opened before, he attached it to his shoulder and slid it down his back. Grabbing his helmet, he slid it on.

Locket put his medical bag on his back before grabbing his DC-15LE Blaster rifle. Grabbing his helmet, he slid it on and walked out of the area with the rest of the group.

Ghost holstered a blaster pistol on his left side, an M8 combat knife on his back, and opened a crate revealing his DC-15x sniper rifle modified with E-5s sniper rifle components. He also slid extra blaster packs into his belt before walking away to meet the others. "Ready?" He asked, sliding his helmet over his head.

"Ready to go." Fangs replied.

Shaak Ti watched as the troopers walked into the dense forested planet. The troopers slid branches out of the way as they trekked to their destination, scaring away wildlife as they got closer.

Ghost held his hand out stopping the group. "Where should I put this?" A droid asked a man wearing a dark cloak. "Over there!" A raspy voice spoke out of the hood as he pointed, his finger was close to skeletal but still had skin over it.

"Roger!" "Roger!" The beige-colored droid carried a cylindrical tube and placed it on the ground near a cannon. The clones ducked to cover as black-colored droids wielding some type of two-handed blue colored cannon in their hands walked in front of them. "Those clankers have new weapons." Fangs said.

"We should tell the general." Ghost said. "Come on." The group slowly walked backwards; they turned around to walk away but were stopped by different, black-colored droids. Ghost fired his blaster pistol at one of the droids heads but with no avail as it bounced off. "Kriff." Ghost said in defeat. "Run!" The troopers ran through the trees. "We have intruders!" One of the droids said in a deep voice.

"Stop them!" The cloaked man hissed. "We cannot let the enemy know of our plans!" He pointed his finger toward the forest. "Fire the Plasma Cannon!"

The team ran through the forest as droids shot blaster bolts at them.

A droid stood beside the cannon as he tapped on a screen. The screen lit up as it found and targeted the clones, the cannon hummed to life as four panels on the side opened, allowing legs to slide out and raise the cannon off the ground. "Plasma Cannon, ready!" The droid operator said.

"Fire!" The man yelled.

"Roger!" "Roger!" The operator tapped on the screen. "Firing!" The cannon jolted back shaking the ground as a purple giant orb ripped through the forest decimating everything in its way. The troopers jumped in a cave as a giant explosion sent them flying forward.

Aké and Vaxis opened their eyes as the ground shook, they jumped to their feet as the explosion went off. Running toward base camp they found Shaak Ti and the troopers packing up everything to leave. "Master Ti, what's going on?"

"We have been ordered off this planet."

"Aren't we supposed to stay and fight!"

Shaak Ti was about to answer when the radio interrupted her. "Mayday! Mayday! We need backup, now!" Locket screamed through the radio as screams echoed behind him.

Ghost screamed in pain as both his hands were disintegrated in the blast leaving him with the most intense pain he's ever felt. Fangs leaned against the wall as his prosthetic leg melted away leaving a puddle of slag on the floor. Tymerr and Pryx held off the droids as they came after them. "Tymerr!" Fangs yelled, detaching his rocket launcher he threw it at him. Tymerr loaded the launcher and fired at the black droids. "I got one…" He halted his celebration as the damaged droid walked through the explosion. "Kriff!"

"We can't just leave them there!" Aké shouted, walking away.

"We can't go on a suicide mission to save five troopers."

Aké walked back to Shaak Ti. "You sent them on this mission!" He roared in her face. "You should be the one saving them, and you're cowering!"

She cleared her throat and stepped back. "I'm sorry…" She said calmly. "There's nothing we can do." She turned around and walked away. "Let's move out."

Aké clinched his fists together. Shaak Ti stopped when she noticed the ground beside her break as a crack ripped through it. She jumped in the air as a stream of fire flowed beneath her. Landing she turned around to find Vaxis wide eyed and staring at her as Aké was nowhere to be seen.

"Fire the plasma cannon!" The man hissed as the troopers held off the droids.

The operator tapped on the screen. Aké ran through the forest, cutting down anything that came in his way. "Firing!" The raw plasma fired out of the barrel. Aké came to a complete stop as the orb shot through the forest, holding his hands out the orb froze in the air. "Jedi!" The man yelled pointing at Aké.

Aké snarled at the Sith before throwing the plasma orb back at its owner. "Run!" The droids screeched; the orb hit the cannon along with the ammunition sending a massive explosion covering most of the area.

The troopers tried getting to cover as the blast got closer toward them, Aké landed in front of the cave and put his hands in front of him blocking the blast as it hit the cave. He slid further down the cave as the impact pushed him. His body shook and he screamed as he pushed himself to the limit in the force. A few moments later he was about to give in to his exhaustion when the blast calmed down. Stumbling forward he collapsed.

"Aké…" Aké mumbled as a blurred light went in and out of his vision. "Aké!" He opened his eyes and found the troopers staring at him. He tried to stand but fell due to plasma burns on the bottom part of his legs.

He groaned in pain and grabbed for his shins which were burnt down to the bone. "I wouldn't do that." Locket said stopping him.

"How do you… expect us to get off this planet?" Aké groaned as he slid to the wall.

"The communicator went out along with my hands." Ghost said, raising his arms.

Aké sighed and looked around at all of the troopers. "Let me meditate… Tymerr, Pryx why don't you two go look around."

"For what?"

"For unfriendly's… we could be here for a while."

The two troopers grabbed their weapons and made their way out of the cave. "Be careful." Locket said.

The two walked through the scorched area until nightfall when Tymerr finally lost it. "Everything is dead… look at this place! Everything either melted or burned!" He yelled in annoyance.

A boulder rolled out of the way revealing a damaged droid wielding the blue-colored cannon. "Die republic…" It aimed the cannon at them but with no avail, it stumbled back as it was hit in the chest by a blaster bolt before being blown up by a grenade.

"You were saying?" Pryx asked.

"One kriffing droid!" He walked forward.

"Let's take this with us." Pryx grabbed the cannon from the ground. "Fangs will want to examine it." They were walking further in the forest when they heard a LAAT/s flying above them. "Hey!" They shouted running after the transport.

They stopped at the base camp breathing heavily and coughing as the vehicle landed. The doors opened as Zing Krul stepped off along with his crew which holstered swords on their backs along with blaster pistols holstered on their waists. "Where's Aké?" Zing asked stopping in front of them.

"Uh…" Tymerr and Pryx froze as they looked at the Yuuzhan Vong staring down at them. The two slowly pointed toward the cave.

"Bring the medical beds!" Zing growled as he walked past the two troopers and down toward the cave. Minutes later Zing Krul and his team carried Fangs, Ghost, and Aké on separate medical beds as Locket walked beside them. "Move it!" Zing Krul snarled at Tymerr and Pryx.

"Yes, sir!" They ran into the LAAT/s and stayed far away from Zing as the transporter would allow. "Take off!"

"Yes sir!" The pilot said, the doors shut allowing them to ascend off the ground.

A week later Aké found himself bobbing up a down in a Bacta tank, minutes later a Clone Trooper walked in the room and stopped in front of the tank. He pulled a screen connected to the tank closer toward them as he read. Pressing some buttons, Aké found himself slowly losing consciousness.

Faint beeping from machinery was heard as Aké gained consciousness. Becoming fully awake he found himself in a medical bed, looking around it was a standard white roomed medical wing. Hearing the door open he looked around to find the medic walk in. "Good morning, General Aké… How are you feeling?" He asked looking at a screen and typing on a holopad.

"Where am I?"

"General Krul's flagship… You never answered my question."

"I feel good… How am I supposed to feel?"

"You could have Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, and some other… unfortunate side effects." He looked at Aké as he slid on some gloves. "This should stop that from occurring." He pulled out a needle from a cabinet, wiping Aké's upper arm with a disinfecting wipe he injected him with the shot. "There you go…" He took off his gloves and threw the gloves and needle in the sharps container.

Zing Krul walked into the room as the Doctor was about to leave. "How's he doing, Doc?"

"Ask him yourself." He pointed toward Aké before leaving.

Aké smiled and held his hand in the air. "How you doing, Krul?"

"Better then you." He chuckled, as the two clasped each other's hand. "It's been a while."

"About two years."

"It's good to see you." He slid a chair over and sat down. "What's going on? The Jedi Council is asking for you."

Aké chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of his head. "I might have attacked Master Ti."

"That would explain it… Why?"

"She sent my crew on a suicide mission and ran when the Council told her to retreat, she didn't even go after them.

"I'd attack her myself… I wonder why the Council told her to retreat?"

"I don't know…" He shook his head. "I'm ready to talk to the Jedi Council."

"You left my Crew to die!" Aké shouted. "You sent them on a suicide mission!" He yelled at Shaak Ti through the holotable. "When the Jedi told you to retreat, you ran like a coward!"

"Aké, calm down!" Mace Windu said.

"You calm down!" He pointed at Windu. "You Jedi scum are all the same…" He sneered. "Protecting each other! You know what you are? You're Bantha Fodder!"

Zing Krul stood outside of the deck as he heard the commotion. "There still at it?" Ghost asked.

Krul nodded his head with a growl.

"You are to report to Coruscant for your punishment."

"Go to Hell! I never even wanted to be a Jedi, all I wanted to do was train Vaxis! I never even wanted to be a general in this Kriffing war and you put it on me! I was peaceful…" His voice cracked. "I was peaceful in Cro Var until you brought the war to me!"

Mace Windu sat back in his chair "You abandoned me!" Aké yelled. "Then you bring me back and make me your puppet! You betrayed me!" He pointed to himself. "Your Jedi Council is nothing but lies… to think I had respect for you, and Master Yoda!" He pointed at Windu.

"You sit in your chairs all day and do nothing but peace talks… Jedi are peacekeepers!" He mocked. "Is that why everyone is dying!?"

"You are arrogant bastards and if you died tomorrow, I wouldn't even bat an eye! You can take that as my resignation!" Windu was about to speak when Aké slammed his fist on the off button. He placed his hands on both sides of the table as he held his head down. Clinching the table, he screamed allowing all of his emotion and anger out. "Master?" He slid against the table. "Where are you?"

"You've always been a hothead!" A voice chuckled.

Aké jumped up and Found a bald-headed, white skinned man with red tattoo and markings going all over his body and down under his Hakama. "Master Ashar?"

The man smiled before chuckling. "I've missed you kid…" He stood up and walked around the deck. "My hope was for you to stay on Cro Var and far away from the Jedi order as possible. I guess, the dice rolled against me."

"You died…" He chuckled. "How are you standing… I mean…"

"I knew there would be a time that you needed me… You know, when the Jedi order called me to be your master, I hesitated… I didn't want to be anyone's master." He slid his hand over a chair. "Then I met you at the temple, you reminded me so much of myself… I just… I had to train you. I told the Jedi Order that I was taking you to my home world and that they were never going to see you or me again. Of course, you know what happened, we got ambushed and I died, something or someone had different plans."

"Are you saying the Jedi Order was the one that ambushed us?"

"I wouldn't trust anyone… except people you trust and are close to… I would look into…" He stopped in front of the table and looked at Aké. "Someone in close relations to the Jedi, someone in politics, maybe. Someone who can influence and change any part of the war… someone waiting for the right time to strike." Master Ashar suddenly disappeared as the door to the deck opened. Aké looked around trying to find his master. "Are you okay?" Zing asked.

"Yeah… I… It's nothing." He shook his head. "What's going on?"

"You're going to want to see this." He pressed the Holotable, turning it on.

"Aké." Chia said, appearing on the table.

"What's wrong?"

"It's Yosvi, she's missing."
