Been on a bit of a Yu-gi-oh! kick of the lore and stories of the cards.

There will be others snippets that range for lore of the cards to the anime/manga.

So let's get to the first concept, The Cunning Fox of the Labrynth!

"Welcome to the Silver Castle, dear knight!"

"Are you here for the treasure hidden deep within? To earn an audience with the Lovely Labrynth of the Castle? Rest assured, the treasure is safe! Not a soul has ever reached it!"

"To earn an audience with our Princess and a chance at the treasure you desire, you must make your way through the castle, pass our traps, and go down to the courtyard. Enter the grand entrance of the tower, ascend to the chamber, and defeat the Archfiend of the Castle guarding the Lovely Labrynth's chamber."

"There, you will have one last challenge as you stand before our beautiful Lady Labrynth. Only then will you be granted your audience and see if you have impressed our Princess. Only then will you have the treasure you so seek."

"Are you brave enough to challenge the Silver Castle, dear knight?

(Flashback)

Where was he?

This place seemed so fantastical. It was a massive castle that he only thought existed in stories and movies! In fact, he had never seen one so vibrant in the film before! And what was that structure above the central tower? Was it heart designed? And with an enormous heart-shaped jewel at its core, radiating a strange glow?

And why were there so many traps in the hallways of this castle?! Were they trying to kill him?! Or themselves? Why would anyone do this?!

Hallways that walls closed in on themselves. Spike floors and ceilings. Tripwires and trapdoors. A chandelier attempting to fall upon him and crush him! Any trap he could think of existed in this hallway! This place was a death trap!

"I'm getting really tired of this!" The young boy with spiky blonde hair and tattered orange clothes screamed at the top of his lungs, jumping away narrowly, avoiding the wall of spikes that shot up from the floor beneath his feet. Scowling as he crouched on the wall, the boy spat and called out the residence of this so-called castle. "You gotta do better than that! A trap like this isn't gonna take down Uzumaki… Woah!"

Narrowingly avoiding a bat flying from a grandfather clock that sprung toward him, Naruto flipped back onto the floor. Watching the bat retract into the clock, Naruto glowered at it, scrunching his brow. "Mah, where did that even come from? That wasn't there before…"

"Who are you? I don't recall inviting anyone into the castle today."

"Because we didn't! Who are you, and how did you get in here?!"

"Ah! Who are you two?!" Naruto leapt in place before wheeling around to see two young women with silver hair tied into two short side ponytails wearing maid uniforms…With long striped tails that extended past their skirt and curled in the air behind them. Naruto leapt once more, his eyes widening. "Never mind! What are you?"

"What does that mean?" The possible cat-girl with a red striped tail glowered, placing her hands on her hips in indignation. "You better not be calling us ugly! How dare you?! You are the intruder! You should be answering our questions!"

"Ariane, please contain yourself," The calmer twin cat girl responded before gently bowing toward Naruto. "Please excuse our behavior. We are to greet all visitors and inform them of what lies in wait. My name is Arianna, and this is my sister Ariane. We are servants to the Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle."

"Are you here to claim our most valued treasure?"

(Current Time)

As the light slowly filtered into his vision, cerulean eyes flickered open. A content sigh left his lips as Naruto gazed upon the azure sky with a tint of silver rays shining through the jewel of the castle. Leaning against the tilted roof of the castle, he flicked his hand through his long, spiky locks before bringing his hand down to the collar of his traditional black satin suit, moving to tie his unbound orange tie.

He was sure he would be called upon soon enough. Knights came upon the castle almost daily, seeking the treasure of Silver Castle. If the fools only knew what it actually was... and that it had already been claimed, and now she made a game of it for all the knights who still came to claim it.

How long ago had he wandered into the Silver Castle? He no longer really knew. It had been so long. He had long since given up returning home. Despite knowing there had to be a way home after seeing how many travelers were from other universes, like that one dragon capable of changing his forms depending on the powers given to him… It had been far too long to return home.

Several hundred years made returning home relatively pointless. To whom would he return to? No one he knew was still alive. The Lovely Labrynth of the Castle had gifted him this long-lasting life. It was the treasure, after all…

He had become her dear prince and was to stand at her side for the rest of eternity until death did them part.

"I thought I would find you out here, my handsome prince." A harmonic voice resonated, followed by the click of two metallic heels. Naruto turned his gaze toward the voice to see an elegant, silver-haired draconic woman with blue horns approaching with a set of silver armor tinted with a royal blue clutched in her grasp. "It is almost time. Ariane and Arianna are greeting the knights that have arrived. It is time to dawn your prized armor. Our Lovely Labrynth wishes you to be at her side."

Naruto scoffed and shook his head. Pushing off the angled roof, a large smirk plastered on his face, taking the armor from the elegant dragoness dawned in her refined armor. "I suppose it is, Arial. Heh, fools. When will they ever learn?"

"The treasure of Silver Castle isn't for mortal hands."

"So a knight has made it this far, even past our big welcoming party… How rare. Perhaps you really wish to claim the treasure of my castle. I am sorry to inform you there is one last challenge before you can possibly claim it."

"You must defeat my Handsome Knight and King of the Silver Castle to claim my hand for all eternity. Can you overcome this one last challenge?"
