Chapter 3: Tower Assault
V and Ayaka got to the secret compound where Michiko was planning out her assault. V can see Several troops donned a samurai-like power armor called Standard-D which is an updated version of the Standard-C model. It has a blue and white paint job like Michiko's Dove faction, standing 7.5 feet tall and using an HA70 HB machine gun like a normal weapon.
"Michiko-Hime we are ready to go on your mark," the Powered Armored trooper said.
"Good, V and Ayaka good for you to join us. V this is Kenichi, my bodyguard and long-time solo of Arasaka," Michiko said as V looked at Kenichi to see he was a Full Borg using a Militech Eclipse Full Body Conversion becoming a Borg ninja.
"Good to see you, I heard about your record. Someone so young, you have deep potential, and killing Adam Smasher takes that cake to 11," Ken said.
"It's nothing," he said, humble about it as he could see his single mono visor showing one red cyberoptic.
"I can't wait to see you in action, V-San," Kenichi said, showing respect and patting him on the shoulder to get ready for the operation.
"Well, here is the plan. We are going to hit a mag train construction site in the badlands. Kill all the Militech guards, hijack the drill which will get us underneath the tower, get to the subnet access room, insert Alt to let her work her magic and you all leave within the chaos she makes," Michiko said.
"Crazy but preem plan," V said.
"I am impressed myself with how nutty this is but it's the best shot we got," Michiko said as she let them suit up, get into their gear, and gather weapons.
They go into the locker room where they find two outfits they will use for the operation. They strip out of their clothing with Ayaka's curvy short body on display with V being awestruck by her erotic beauty. Her long metal tail curls up, her long silver hair tied up in a high ponytail, and her thin blue horns match well with her hair and skin.
"Watch out V, I don't need you distracted with my body," she said to go up to him with her tail slightly caressing his nice back making him shiver with delight. "So cute," she said with a seductive wink to grab onto a combat suit. "Lucky, I put on a sports bra, don't want my girls going crazy out there," Ayaka said only wearing a white sports bra holding her huge bust and pink panties molding around her wide hips and big rear.
"Yeah, that would be too bad," V said as he could imagine Ayaka's large breasts bouncing around when she was fighting and moving around.
"Well, you see me in my underwear, you can watch them bounce as much as you like. Come on, let's do this," she pats him on the back to zip up her bodysuit to grab a Shigure SD having a holo scope along with a DB-4 Palica Smart double barrel shotgun.
"Right," he said as he needed to focus on the task at hand to wear a combat outfit with body armor and a helmet. He grabs a VST-37 full auto shotgun with a 24-drum magazine and a Copperhead equipped with Holo sight, muzzle brake, and an underslung grenade launcher.
"We got me to lead the group, you and Kenichi to aid me as well as 12 powered armored troopers. A small strike team to get the job done," she said as they went to the hanger to see a large Surveyor AV having the power armored soldiers inside wielding MA70 HB machine guns, CRISP-er Flamethrowers, and Assault Cannon Rocket Rifles.
Kenichi is using a Raiju Tech SMG and a suppressed Nue pistol. "Michiko-Hime, we are ready to go," Ken said.
"Good, good luck everyone you are going to need it," Michiko sends him off with three powerful Arasaka Solos and 12 Powered Armored Troopers. She hands V Alt's data shard for safekeeping. "Remember put it in the subnet server and she will do the rest," she said as the 15 went into the Surveyor to fly off into the Badlands to their chosen location with the moon high in the night sky.
The AV turns off its lights to maintain its cover in the darkness to head for the mag train site. "We are heading for the location. I am detecting several units of Militech troops there. Wipe them out clean and fast, so they don't call for backup," the AV pilot said.
"Well do," she cocks her Shigure SD SMG to check the 50 rounds of 9mm in its casket magazine. She sits down to gather herself with her metal tail curling around her stomach.
"Nervous?" he asked.
"Yep, I am. You went through before," Ayaka said.
"Don't worry about it. I doubt it's going to be heavily guarded like before," V said.
"Yes, we still need to be cautious. I am happy you are here by my side. I feel safer knowing you have my back," she said as V grabbed her chin to look into her bright blue eyes.
"You gain my respect and trust, no matter what. I have your back," he said as this made her two hearts flutter.
"Goodness, this young man is winding up my insides," she said feeling her pussy pulse with desire for this wonderful young man.
"Hey sir," V said to Kenichi checking up on his pistol.
"Oh yes V-San," Kenichi said in his stern yet warm robotic voice.
"How long did you know Lady Michiko?" he asked, showing respect to his new boss.
"I have known her since she was a little girl. I was assigned to be her bodyguard. I have dutifully served her over the many decades of my life," Kenichi said.
"I see, loyalty is strong with Michiko," V said.
"Yes, my loyalty is stronger to her than the company. She is like a daughter to me. Her vision for the company is worth dying for," Kenichi said.
"You remind me of Goro Takamura," V said.
"I heard about him quite sad. He is an old friend. He is a good man, a true-blue samurai, sadly his undying loyalty is with a man who is willing to burn the world for the sake of unending power," Kenichi said showing disgust with the Secure Your Soul program.
"Okay, we are closing in," Ayaka said as the large AV hovered near the construction site to let the strike team leap out onto the sands. She feels her hands on her suppressed SMG to approach the site. "Every beside me, V and Ken will approach into the site while everyone else surrounds the area and come in when I give the signal.
"Of course, we await your orders," the head trooper said as they spread into the darkness with V and Ken using their cloaking device to disappear to begin picking off targets with their arm blades slicing them up.
"I am going to the security center. I will knock out their alert system and cut them off from reinforcements," Ayaka said as she used Ping on the devices to give everyone a good amount of coverage of all the guards moving around.
She rushes in with her inhuman speed to use her Shigure SD to pop Militech troopers in the head.
She uses her Mist Slicer to chop up soldiers and drive her blade into the head of a trooper. She goes behind a crate to drag a guard to use her blade to slit her throat letting the blood flow onto the sand.
She uses a charged jump to leap on top of a building to overlook the site with her cyberoptics triggering night vision to see all the soldiers getting picked off by V and Ken. She uses her grapple arm to latch onto a soldier to quickly pull them up the building and snap his neck.
Like ghosts, the two men pick apart the enemy troops with their arm blades. V uses his Apogee to speed through several enemies to leave a path of death in his wake. He lunges and puts his arm blades into the head of the soldier.
Kenichi is using his suppressed Nue to put shots into the heads of the soldiers. He gets behind a man and twists his neck with his two robotic hands. He uses a monoblade to slice a soldier in half to grab onto the guard's head to crush it against the building's wall.
Ayaka uses her combat tail to snap the man's neck while impaling another's head. She leaps high and uses her grapple arm to latch onto a guard tower to grab onto the ledge. She slices the guard's hand off while crouching into the tower.
She goes down the ladder to go into the security center to use her gun to sweep through the area with ease to clear the area. One of the soldiers wakes up from their nap as Ayaka uses her blade to shove it through her head killing her.
She puts in her plug to use her Cyberdeck to undermine their alert system to cut them off from backup. "Okay, I managed to cut them out. Wipe out the rest," she fires her PLS to launch a mini rocket to blast apart a bunch of enemies.
The Armored soldiers came in with their heavy weapons to use their big machine guns like rifles to rip into the enemies like wet tissue paper. Their flamethrowers lit up the night and the Militech forces melted their bodies with harsh flames. Their Assault Cannons blew up guard towers and vehicles turning them into piles of burning scrap metal.
Ayaka uses her Arasaka Cyberdeck to unleash her cyber witchery to turn soldiers on fire, making them deathly ill or frying their brains with electric pulses. She sees a Minotaur coming at her but she hacks a truck to take control and shove it into the robot destroying it by running into it at fast speeds.
V and Ken deflect the bullets back at their users to clip them in the head killing them. "That's all of them," V said.
"Nice work, good form out there," Ken said impressed.
"Same for you, you were a pro," V said as they went into the cave nearby to see the drill is owned by Night Corp. "Night Corp?" he wondered.
"Yes, they are the ones who are making this and put Militech as guards. Come on, time to dig under Arasaka Tower," Ayaka said as the strike team entered into the huge drill to begin drilling deep underground towards the underbelly of the tower.
They hold tight inside the drill with everyone getting tense. V holds onto Ayaka's hand tightly to make sure she feels secure and safe.
"Thanks, I need that," Ayaka said as they stopped to see they were in the belly of the beast. "We are in the basement and those are seismic binds to keep the tower from being moved by earthquakes," Ayaka said as the strike team got out to see a group of robotic troopers moving in single file.
She uses her Short Circuit to make the robots overload with electricity scattering them across the cold metal floor. "Time to go deep here," Ken said to hold his Raiju SMG in one hand to go forward with V coming in with his auto shotgun.
The Power Armored troopers come from behind to go towards the security center. She uses her quickhack to convert a Minotaur onto their side to begin fighting the enemies. They went in and wiped them out.
"Okay this is a terminal, let's see where we can give Alt a backdoor into their subnet," Ayaka said to lock onto the terminal with an interface plug. The soldiers secure the area to watch out for Arasaka guards.
"Okay I found it, an access point in the lower area," Ayaka said as V held Alt shard to go down a maintenance hatch to go into a room that has a server she can use.
"In you go," he slips her inside as the powerful AI Alt works her Blackwall magic to begin taking control of Arasaka's subnet.
"Thank you, V, you should have done this before," Alt said to scold him.
"Yeah, I know but I want to unfuck my mistake," V said as all the tower's defenses are turning on the Arasaka employees. Robotic forces go on a rampage with Alt smashing through their ICE and taking over Mikoshi.
"Okay, we did it. Now time to get out of here," Ayaka said as the way back was destroyed in an explosion within the chaos. "Well, that's not an option," she said.
"Alt, do you know another way back to our entrance point?' V asked.
"Yes, but you need to go around the lower levels to get back there," Alt said as she transferred a map of the lower-level layout.
The strike team went out to see Arasaka troops fighting their drone forces. Ken goes in with his Raiju and opens fire with a charged rapid fire to slice through the enemies. A Powered Armor trooper fires her MA70 HB machine gun into crowds of enemies to tear them up.
"What chaos," V said as he fired his auto shotgun to strike them down using his Sandy to dodge incoming rockets and grenades. He slides towards an Arasaka trooper to blast them apart with his shotgun.
Ken is slicing and blasting enemies. His armored body is taking multiple shots without much damage. He puts his monoblade into the head of an enemy soldier to rip it off his body.
Ayaka spears a soldier in the head with her combat tail as she blasts them with a DB-4 Palica. Locking onto targets to take out 4 targets with one sweep of her smart link. She fires one more shot to take out a few more targets.
She uses Contagion to spread the opponents' cyberware leaking toxins into their blood causing them to be badly sick. She uses Overheat on them to trigger a set of big poison explosions by heating the toxins and setting them off.
The Powered Armor trooper fires their flamethrowers to burn away any troops nearby. "We are going through Mikoshi areas," V said as he was using his sandy along with his Mantis Blade to deflect all the bullets back at the soldiers to clip them in the skulls killing them swiftly.
"You have no choice, it's the quickest route back where you came from," Alt said as they craved a path back to the drill.
"Shit, what is happening," Arasaka trooper questioned as all the robots are going berserk killing all the security staff. The three Solos along with their backup go to town wiping out many soldiers. Ayaka is shocking and burning targets by using her smart shotgun to lock on and pop open their heads.
She cracks the barrels open to put them in two rounds into the barrels. She uses her smart link to strike down more troops with homing shots from her shotgun. She fires her PLS to unleash a fiery blast to burn the enemies alive.
Kenichi is easily dodging bullets and rockets with ease to use his arm blades and his Raiju to unleash bursts slicing through cover and hitting his targets.
V is using his Copperhead to get body shots and headshots to see them dropping onto the floor. He tosses a Gash grenade to see arcs of lasers to slice up incoming soldiers. He lobs a frag grenade from the rifle's launcher to blast apart more enemies.
Ayaka has a Reflex Booster which is increasing her reaction times to use her Mist Slicer to deflect back the bullets to kill off the soldiers. She spears her combat tail into the heads of incoming guards.
A Powered Armor trooper fires her Assault Cannon to blast apart groups of enemies. A Standard D unit kicks down a heavy door with ease to get hit with an RPG to damage the suit but still fighting.
"Watch out for rockets," Ayaka said as she spread Contagion making all the enemies too sick to fight to be cut down by her troops. She triggers Overheat to wipe out the rest in big toxic explosions.
Ayaka can see a terminal that contains research data on Mikoshi. "This will be useful," she said to use her cyberdeck to crack the files to put them in data shards. "Cover me," she said to plug in and draw out the data.
Alt is wreaking havoc on the tower and purging all the engrams from Mikoshi while destroying its network making it more unusable. V looks down to see a data shard that contains secret info on Secure Your Soul which shows Arasaka's true intentions with it.
"Oh fuck. This shit is never about immortality. They have access to a ton of powerful people and they are going to make them their puppets," V looking horrified by this.
"Sadly yes, Immortality was never the goal. Saburo wants to control the whole world and Secure Your Soul is the key to this plan," Ayaka said being angry about this herself.
"Disgusting," Kenichi said with venom in his voice.
"No one knows how deep this goes," V said.
"Secure Your Soul is the biggest scam in human history. Straight supervillain stuff. I am going to take this data back. Michiko would know what to do with it," Ayaka transfers the data into a shard to put it into her neck slot. "Let's move," she said as the tower was in complete chaos.
"How are you dodging like that?' V asked Ken.
"I have a Kerenzikov which unless Sandevistan. It always stays on," Kenichi said as he saw everything in slow motion all the time.
"That takes a lot of patience to pull that off," V said.
"I have time, you get used to it," Ken said as they reached back at the drill to get back inside to go backward to escape the tower leaving it in chaos. Alt has destroyed Mikoshi's network and wiped out the Secure Your Soul labs. She absorbs all the engrams to become even more powerful and leaves the tower to go back beyond the Blackwall.
"We did it. We did it," Ayaka said feeling excited to give V a big kiss out of happiness.
"Yeah, we did it," V said as this crazy plan worked with minimal deaths on their side.
"Good job everyone," Kenichi said as they went back to the construction site to see the AV coming in to pick them up.
"Michiko, we did it and we got data on Secure Your Soul," Ayaka said as Michiko was impressed with this.
"Interesting. Not only Grandfather will suffer a massive setback and tanking in the stock market. Exposing the secrets of Secure Your Soul on the news will leave a black mark on Grandfather. Giving him a massive PR disaster to deal with," Michiko said as V sat down with Ayaka by his side.
"You know I almost got that put into that scam. They were never going to give me a new body," V said.
"You are right. You would be a slave to them but thankfully I was there before you signed your life away," Ayaka said.
"Thanks," V said as she hugged him.
"My pleasure, we should rest on. Our work is just beginning," Ayaka said
Within a day, the efforts showed big results as Arasaka took a huge hit sowing doubt within the company about Saburo's leadership while the data got leaked to the press causing massive outcry around the world about the true purpose of Secure Your Soul.
"The world has gotten a second chance," Michiko said feeling good about it to get a call from her aunt Hanako.
"What is the meaning of this?" Hanako's voice is stern and still but filled with quiet anger at her actions.
"What do you mean?" Michiko asked.
"Don't play dumb with me. My troops noticed V, Ayaka, and Kenichi there at the tower. You were involved with this," Hanako said.
"Sorry after when Grandfather, Saburo came back alive. That was the final straw for me. Saburo is a monster that must be removed," Michiko shows no respect for him.
"Show some respect for your Grandfather. You crippled the company. Hundreds of billions of investment was lost due to your actions. All the secrets of Secure Your Soul have been exposed to the public," Hanako said.
"Feels good," Michiko said feeling proud of herself.
"You betray this company," Hanako said.
"Betray, coming from you that is rich. You doomed your brother who you deeply loved to be on your knees by your daddy," Michiko is mocking her.
"Do not push me," Hanako said as Michiko laughed at this.
"You got no threats. I never wanted this become part of this company. Myers fucked me over at my old life and forced me to come back to the cursed family. I am going to change this company and rip it out of Saburo's hands. We need to move forward not be stuck in the past. Don't get in my way Hanako," Michiko said coldly to cut off the phone call.
"Sounds productive," Ken said dryly.
"They will be busy trying to get the company from falling apart while we keep them on the defensive. It's only the beginning Ken," she said as her phase 2 plan was about to begin.
