Rise from the Ashes!
(KING SAURAVIS POV)
It's cold... The feeling of my blood flowing out of my body the moment I was face to face with the culprit who unleash those monsters called Zombiesaurs, he pierced me using my sword that he swiped off me using his magic.
The fire burns and spreads from the chaos filling the air in smoke and the flames covered my body as it burns into ashes.
My soul falls asleep of my death.
How could this happen?
My wife, Saffira... My daughter, Saura... And everyone in the kingdom I love. I'm sorry... As king, I failed you all to both humans and dinosaurs alike.
What if... What if I could be reborn? If possible, I want to do everything I can even if it's in a new life. Please, help me...
"Do you really wish for it, my king?"
A gentle female voice echo in space and I heard it.
Just then, a hand stretched out to me and I grab it. When that happened, a bright light dazzled, as if covering the whole world.
Seconds later, I open my eyes and found myself somewhere unfamiliar... yet beautiful at same time. It looks like a throne room similar to my castle.
The place where I am now is when I look out the window... It's like a beautiful island in the sky! There's a stream of river and a huge waterfall where you can see fishes swimming in it! As well as the nature is brimming with fruits, as well as the trees streaming in vines and nests filled with green and pink new and never-before seen dinosaurs!
The green and pink dinosaurs look like they're part of the raptor family. They have feathers on their arms and their tails have a unique 3 clover shaped design, some are short and long. On their backs they have some kind of special marks, different on each dino. However, unlike medium-sized raptors we know, these dinosaurs can fly!
While I was admiring the view, 2 of them come towards me and bow down. One green with a spade on the back and one pink with a heart on the back. Around their necks have a scarf tied with a yellow and purple gem brooch.
"Welcome, Your Highness King Sauravis!"
"I'm Kio."
"And I'm Mia."
Hearing their voices, the green one is male named Kio and the pink one is female named Mia.
"Where am I...?"
"You are in my domain, my King." A gentle female voice said from the throne. The very same voice I heard during the brink of death.
I turn to the voice and found... A Goddess sitting on the throne! I recognized her! She's the Goddess who created the kingdom of dinosaurs and humans... Goddess Arciel!
Her long white hair with rainbow ombre and her blue eyes brings out the beauty for a celestial being in a white robe-like dress and laurel crown.
"Goddess Arciel!" I immediately bow down to her.
"It's alright, my King. Please raise your head." She said as she walk up to him and the 2 dinosaurs are now at her side, between her.
"Um, Goddess Arciel? Tell me, am I alive or dead?"
"Unfortunately, you're dead, but not alive either. You're in a realm between the living and the dead. In other words, you're now in a spirit form."
I see. That means I really am... Dead.
"I'm sorry. I know it must be painful for you to die at such a young age. Especially when you are living happily with everyone." Goddess Arciel comforted me as she bring me to a table with tea and treats brought out by her 2 dinosaurs. "Please have some tea to calm down."
It's ironic that even in death, you can still eat and drink. It's like I never even died.
"Um, Goddess Arciel?"
"Yes, what is it?"
"What am I going to do from now? I mean, I died... But I can't accept this!" I bang the table in frustration. "Not when the danger stills lurking in my kingdom. Even in death, I want to help them!"
"Are you saying this because it's your duty as king?"
"Not just that, Goddess Arciel. I know being king is my destiny to rule the kingdom but it's more than that!" I answered from the heart. "The moment I met my love, Saffira, she taught me everything about outside the kingdom and about the struggles dinosaurs and humans living together. Because of her, I can become the kind the king who I wanted to be!"
I learned that being king is not only about ruling for power or living life in luxury. It's about the responsibility to take care of the people living in it. In the past, as the crown prince of Dainason, living life as royalty was fine dandy and all. I never had to worry about food or any other stuff. But the moment I met Saffira, I learned all sorts of things that I never even know about like friendship, love, happiness and the life of the Kingdom's magic elemental dinosaurs!
Growing up into an adult, having a family with Saffira and having our child, Princess Saura made me even more happy. I love our daughter and I promise that I would raise her into a kind of princess she wants to be whether it's for her friends or for everyone she loves.
But now that I'm dead, my time to spend with her was now just a dream bursting away into a puff of smoke. She's only a small baby. How will she survive in this world where those zombie monsters could be there!?
As if Goddess Arciel read my mind, she made a sudden suggestion.
"How about, what if I can give you a chance... To be reborn?"
"W-what?"
"Be reborn. More specifically... Reincarnate." Goddess Arciel verify. "I can give you a chance to let you go back and be reborn again."
"R... Reborn? Is it possible?"
"It's possible with me being a goddess and my powers can help souls or spirits." The goddess confirmed. "However, I can't possibly just help any lost souls, it's one of the laws of a divine being. But I can make a special case for you, Your Highness. Since you said your answers with a true heart."
"I... Can... Be... Reborn..." I must be dreaming, but I'm not! "Goddess Arciel who create and watches over us... Please grant me to reborn again!" I bow my head.
"... Alright. But first you must choose which of two options you wish to be reborn."
"Huh?"
"First, I can let you reborn into human form again with your memories erased or the Second, I'll reborn you into a Dinosaur with all your memories of your human being life from the moment you're born up until now." Goddess Arciel offer and continue. "Every wish must have a price to be paid and this is no simple wish either. Think carefully and choose wisely."
Let's see... if I reborn as human again, I can live out like normal but in exchange I won't keep the my memories I made in all the years I've spent until now. But, if I choose the second option, living as a Dinosaur, I'll still keep all of my memories!
Living as human again without any memories or living a new life as a Dinosaur with my memories intact?
The answer is abvious! Facing the Goddess with my mind made up, I give my answer to her.
I answer. "My memories are precious and too important for me to give it up! I choose the Second!"
"That's your answer, is it?" Goddess Arciel smile like she knows it's obvious.
"Yes! Please, Goddess!"
"Very well. Then, I'll grant you your wish to reborn."
The Goddess spread out her hand towards me and a column of light and sparkles all over me, covering and transform my body into a Dinosaur.
My whole body turn dinosaur-like in the shape of a raptor with bright red feathers on my arms, tail and head. My fingers and toes turn to claws of a raptor. My eyes remain the same gold color and change the pupils into dinosaur-like slit shape. When my transformation is complete, I found myself standing at the very same place where I died.
I heard a voice telepathically talking to me.
"From now on, your new name will be 'Phoenix Pyroraptor'. You also will have special skills that I'm sure will be useful to you."
I know that must be Goddess Arciel's voice. So, I'm a Dinosaur now and as a Dinosaur, the name Phoenix is my new name and the name of the dinosaur I'm reborn as called Pyroraptor. A Dinosaur born from fire.
As for the special skills she speak about, I'm not sure other than the natural abilities, but I'll find it out soon in the future.

Now then, if I'm going to live in this new life, I can't just walk up randomly to anyone telling them that I'm King Sauravis and that I've been reborn like this. Besides, it might put more trouble and danger than it is now.
For the time being, I should just observe and be mysterious for the time being.
As about revealing my true identity, the person I have to see would be my love, Saffira.
Right here and then, I met and reunited with our trusted loyal Lavender Witch, Zinnia and she told me the whole story about what happened when I saw my queen sleeping in a glass coffin filled with flowers.
Saffira kept our daughter Saura safe in Dino Village for protection while she sacrifice herself to pay the price for Zinnia's protection barrier spell.
Zinnia promised me that she'll keep my past self a secret and only reveal to others we trusted when the time is right, in exchange that I will locate where the Acceraptors were hiding for their cooperation in investigation and elemination the all of Zongazonga's Zombiesaurs.
After my meeting with Zinnia's finished, I left the Castle and decided to do my own work and at the same time fight back against the Zombiesaurs.
I learned that as Pyroraptor the Goddess reincarnate me into, this particular dinosaur type has the power to use both wind and fire magic and swim in waters. Swimming in the water as a raptor with feathers was unique for one especially with this fire magic I have. This type of fire magic for a Pyroraptor is unlike the theropod's normal fire magic used for battle. Pyroraptor's kind of fire magic is Purification Fire. It happened when I was facing against some more Raptor Zombiesaurs after I beat it in battle. The sight of their undead, broken body parts left a disgusting sight. At first I thought of burning them with my fire but can't because I'm scared I'll cause a forest fire, but as long if I don't make the flame too big it will be fine. Then, as I did my fire magic on the undead bodies, they all melt away like a candle waxes until they turn into a pile of ashes. When the ashes are blown away by my wind, they spread all over the lifeless trees making them grow leaves and bloom flowers all around. Who would have thought that this power could be so... Beautiful.
There's also a unique skill I have which is called Rise from the Ashes! It's a skill that only works when I'm almost at the brink of death. When that happens, I burst into flames and then be reborn again good as new as if I've never died. I have to say, this is a very special skill of the Pyroraptor! This way I never have to worry about the fear of death again!
Years later of watching, I believe it's time that I should reveal myself, in other words, my true self to my loyal friends the Velociraptors.
And wow, do they look shock at this! At first they didn't believe me, but to prove it, I talked about everything they did for the Kingdom and about their past as youngsters. Along with Zinnia's story and testimony, the Velociraptors finally believe that I, King Sauravis, am now reincarnated and reborn as Phoenix Pyroraptor.
Of course, they were happy and glad to see me, their king again, but I'm not anymore. Not in this new life anyway. I am now living a new life as a Dinosaur not human. They have accepted the fact but it doesn't matter because I am me, whether as Sauravis, Dainason Kingdom's king or Phoenix the Pyroraptor. They just accept both are a part of me and I'm glad.
After everything's done, I've decided to wander and explore Dainason's current state and maybe I'll get a chance to see my grown-up daughter, Saura one more time.

As you read it, Pyroraptor is like the magic phoenix in fairytale stories hence, the kind of powers I wrote. As to why it can swim, it's based of Jurassic Kingdom Dominion. I like the way it confronts Owen when he accidentally tried to jump over the icy water and end up falling into the water and the Pyroraptor swims around him to attack!
About it's Purification Fire magic, I based it on the Japanese story of Hanasaka Jii-san. The part when he spreads ashes on a dead tree and flowers magically appear and blooms.
As for the green and pink dinosaurs, they're from Doraemon movie Nobita's new dinosaur. I don't own them!
I select this dinosaur because it is the only unknown species and I DON'T plan on using Nobisaurus as their dinosaur name! These dinosaurs serve as helpers to the Goddesses.
Just once, I'm giving you a fun fact: Kio and Mia are incarnations of Cosmo and Wanda!

The answer is already written in this chapter and as for the water and Z-Elamos, it won't be able to pollute the waters because the water is already being protected by Lazula the Guardian of Water. But that doesn't mean there won't be any dangerous things happenning. Sorry, I'm not giving any spoiler!
The Guardians and Goddesses can't do anything against the "dead". But you don't have to worry and wait any longer because in the next chapter, you'll get to see Zongazonga's return! I just need to work on my evil villain writing dialog but I have to warn you, it's not going to be very pretty.
