Zombiesaur and Boneysaur!

Successfully finding the second treasure hunt clue in a bottle, we started unrolling as we read it.

The Second Clue: Go to Deep Trench.

"Deep Trench?"

When we read that's where the next clue is, Doris looks more scared than she was when mentioning the Boneyard.

"What's wrong?"

"Why does it have to be in the Deep Trench?" Doris moaned.

"What's the Deep Trench?"

Doris describe it as one of the creepiest places of the whole ocean. Nobody dares to go into it because once they enter it, they never return back.

"Seriously?"

Doris nodded.

I don't know how to compare the Boneyard with Deep Trench but I guess both are equally creepy, I think.

GROWL~

Just before anymore negative thoughts could occur more in our minds, the sound of our stomachs starts to growl. We blush out of embarrassingly.

"Um, shall we eat first?

"Yes"

Since we're in an open air space, we had our break here despite the Futabasaurus skeletons the only thing in with us.

The food we packed for our journey were some fish and veggie sandwiches that Doris' sister, Marin made and my leftover artificial meat I made before at Misty Paradise. Both Doris and Momo have never seen or eaten meat since the only meat-like taste they've eaten were fish. Once they've tried it, they said it was delicious and it doesn't come from the flesh meat of other dinosaurs. It's an eco-friendly meal.

After we finished eating, Doris said since there's some time before going after the next clue, she'll teach me some basic water magic since she promised to help train my new power.

There are 2 basics of water magic:

1. The Pushing and Pulling.

2. Streaming the water.

First off is the pushing and pulling.

This training is said to follow how the moon's gravitational moves the water tides. Also, like fire's energy comes from the sun, the water's energy comes from the moon. I guess maybe that's one of the reasons why fire and water are opposites but they work together in harmony.

Speaking of it, I've heard a story about how in the past, the fire and water elements don't get along well and as to how they were brought together was thanks to a certain prince and a commoner girl before the two were married. I don't know their names because when I asked the dinos, they said they have no memory about them or when I asked the Guardians, they said they forgot. But I have a feeling they're aren't telling the truth when I saw their awkward expression on their faces.

Anyways, back to the first basic lesson, the pushing and pulling. Doris show a demonstration. The water form a wave of going forward and backward, it's just like she's really pushing and pulling the water to and away from her.

When I get give it a try, but it's a little bit hard. Doris advised something that's similar to push and pull. That made me recall, when I'm making sweets, I have to roll a dough flat. It makes it almost the same as pushing and pulling.

Imagining I'm rolling a dough, I focus on the water and just like I imagine it, the water's wave comes to me and then away from me!

"I did it!" I smiled while Miku chirp.

"Well done. It took me 3 months to get it right but you're a fast learner at learning the basic." Doris praised.

"Thanks, Doris. But it's thanks to your advise that I mastered pushing and pulling the water!"

Hearing someone else other than Momo compliment a thanks to her is a first made Doris cried tears of joy. To make her first human friend praise her more, she'll move on to the second basic of water magic.

"Now that you've mastered Push and Pull, let's move on to, Streaming the water."

"Yes, Doris!"

Streaming the water involves taking some ribbon of water and just like the name says, manipulating the water, making it move to your own will.

Doris shows her demonstration. She takes some ribbon of water, floating in the air then sinking it. Watching it makes it like she's dancing with the water! after she's finish, she send the water back to the pool.

I clap at her performance as she bow in thanks.

"Now, it's your turn, Saura!"

I nodded as I face the water. Spread out my hands, I command the water to float over to me but it proves more difficult than I imagine despite carrying the same amount of water as Doris. The water felt heavy unlike the other elements I've learned and trained. When I lost control, the water splash on the ground.

I groan.

"It's okay, Saura. Just relax and the water will flow smoothly." Doris comforted.

I nodded and try again.

(ZONGAZONGA'S POV)

Inhabiting the body of my Z-Elasmo, I follow the princess and her friends.

Seems like they have entered the secret cave of Boneyard. If I recall correctly, there's a deceased Futabasaurus skeleton in there.

I put on my evil in grin as a plan pop up in my mind. I can use this.

Swimming slowly and carefully to the avoid their attention, I found them doing something which I pay no mind to it.

Oh, before I advanced, let's have some fun with them for a while before moving on to the plan.

Still in the water, I waited for the time and chance to strike.

After 20 minutes of practicing streaming the water, I managed to manipulate the water and it flow smoothly thanks to Doris' advise of staying calm and let it flow. She told me that the water element connects to our emotions better than any other element and that's the key to controlling it. Though I have to admit it's not as good as my tailed-friend's techniques but since I've just newly-obtained it other than the tail transformation, I'm learning this new water magic the best as I can as well as the other 4 elements I've gained since they're all came from helping my dinosaur friends.

After I send back the water into the pool, I sigh in relief and exhaustion.

"Well done, Saura. You've mastered the 2 basics of water magic." Doris said.

"Thank you. I'll continue honing my water by reviewing the basics again later."

Doris nodded. "Of course. Now then, shall we set off to the Deep Trench to our next treasure hunt clue?"

"Wait, are you sure?" I asked asked, noticing Doris not afraid of going into another creepy place.

"Yes! now that we practiced our water magic together, I'm not afraid advancing forward, right, Momo?" Doris said confidently and Momo nodded too.

Wow, what a change. One minute she's afraid, then she's brave! Her emotions flow just like the water! I guess this proves that one of the key of using the magic of water.

"Well then, shall we go?" I told everyone and they nodded.

Before we can jump into the water, small bubbles starts to foam in a small spot in the pool.

What's going on?

SPLASH

Suddenly, a huge water splash up and a figure emerge from it, landing on the ground!

ROAR!

The moment Doris and Momo saw the figure, a Dinosaur figure to be exact, their faces turn pale.

"Ahh! It's the Elasmosaurus zombie!" They screamed.

When Miku and I saw the figure for the first time, it's appearance looks rather similar to that zombie T-Rex, except the dinosaur kind is an Elasmosaurus.

"Run!"

Doris grab my hand with our dino partners in our arms as we run away from the zombie Elasmosaurus.

The spirit of Zongazonga who inhabitant Z-Elasmo's body had exit its body and now flown as a spirit again watching the princess and friends running away from his zombie creation.

"How hilarious, watching them running for their lives!"

Zongazonga look at the Futabasaurus skeleton to make his plan more interesting. The aura of his skull spirit glow as his power sends it into the skeleton.

"By the power of the Dark Sorcerer, Zongazonga, rise from the dead and become alive, I call thee... Boneysaur!"

The Futabasaurus skeleton turn blue color and the eyes glow yellow color as it roar.

"Now that that's done, I should take my leave."

Usng his ghostly spirit body, he exit the cave after taking one last look at his monsters.

Little did he know, a certain red raptor was watching it. It swims inside to where it flew away from.

Z-Elasmo were using it's poison water beam, aiming at the us and our dino partners. We managed to dodge them but then suddenly we were blocked by... A moving skeleton of a Futabasaurus?!

ROAR!

We screamed as we come to a stop.

"What is this?!" I cried.

"I don't know! Momo and I never even seen this before!"

"We have to go back!"

Unfortunately from the back was Z-Elasmo and in front of us was this dinosaur skeleton monster.

We're trapped!

The two Plesiosaur monsters roar from the front and back.

"Doris, let me go. I'll fight them!" Momo told her human partner.

"But, there's 2 of them. You don't stand a chance. Besides, what if you get poison again? I don't want to see you get hurt again!" Doris said, holding Momo tighter.

"But..."

Against a poisonous Zombiesaur and a dinosaur skeleton monster with our fighting inexperience, we don't stand a chance!

When the 2 monsters were about to attack, a sudden something came out of the water and send a fire blast at the zombie and skeleton!

ROAR!

We turn to face our savior, it looks like a raptor in red color with feathers on its arms. It's appearance looks almost similar to Miku but larger.

The red raptor got in front, protecting us. "Are you all alright?"

We nodded.

"Thank goodness." The voice I'm hearing is male and sounds like an adult. "You all get out of here, now."

"But, what about you?" I asked, worried.

"Don't worry, I can handle them."He saw the enemies have recovered from the attack. He then turn to me as he bow his head, surprise by his action. "Your safety is our kingdom's first priority." He turn to Miku next. "Please take care of her the best you can."

Miku was confused but he nodded anyway.

Huh, what does he mean by Kingdom's first priority? Am I someone important or something?

The Z-Elasmo and Futaba Boneysaur charge for a counterattack!

"Go, now!" The red raptor told us and we obey as the 4 of us quickly jump into the pool turning our legs into tails and Miku in a bubble, swimming out of the Boneyard cave.

As we swim away, I hope the red raptor who saved us was alright. After all, we it's 2 against 1.

"I don't know who that red dino is but we owe our thanks to him." Doris said.

"Yeah. I hope he's doing alright."

Meanwhile, as for the red raptor he's in standby mode to fight back the 2 villains.

"In the name of Phoenix Pyroraptor, I will defeat you for Dainason Kingdom!"

Both Plesiosaur monsters fire off their poisonous water beam at him and but he gracefully dodge them. Just before he could attack, the Zombiesaur sensing the souls of Saura and the others, it slip out and swims away out of the cave.

"No! Don't you go after them!"

Unfortunately, the Boneysaur block the Pyroraptor's path making the Zombiesaur get away! he grit his teeth in anger!

"GRR! Looks like I'll have to take care of you first!"

Using his sharp claws, he did consecutive slashes at the Futaba Boneysaur. Since the monster is undead, the pain didn't bother them as it counterattack by biting but Phoenix using his fast speed of a raptor, they couldn't even land a single bite attack on him.

"Time to put you out of your misery."

Using the full blast of fire power he have, the blast hit the Futaba Boneysaur in an K'O, turning it to a pile of dusty ashes.

As for the escaped Z-Elasmo, Phoenix will have to track it down to make sure it didn't get to the girls and their dino friends.

"This time... I will protect my daughter in this new life, no matter what!"

Well here's the appearance of a Boneysaur Futaba. By the way, this is the only Boneysaur I add. As for the others, I'll have to think carefully about it.

I hope the battle is good enough, sorry if Saura and the others couldn't fight since they're small and have little battle experience or that battle was too simple.

The language of communicating with dinosaurs is the same when the characters communicate with the Pterosaur in human tougue except for writing. The writing is using dinosaur footprints just like the ones used in Dinotopia books.
