Love is in the air when a school dance is coming up
Principal Office:
Figgins was sitting behind his desk, writing on his notebook until his door opened up, revealing Will. "you wanted to see me, figgins". Figgins nodded as he closed his notebook. "yes, william, i did. Have a seat"
Will closed the office door before sitting down. "am i getting fired" he ask jokingly. Figgins laughed as he sat up. "i got some news. The school dance is coming up, and we have the senior class president handle the arrangement, but. Well, he's been stealing our school". Will made a shock expression. "george Mckenzie been stealing our supplies?". Figgins nods. "he's been stealing our stuff and sells them on the internet". Will sigh as he sat down. "he seems like a good guy". Figgins nodded. "he's suspended, so we need someone to run the school dance. And i would like New Direction to run the dance"
Will makes a shock expression. "what, really?". Figgins smiled. "you all have some fun experience with your rehearsals. I figured glee could help put the dance in a school dance"
Will: I'm honored. Thank you for this opportunity
Figgins: i hope New Direction has some ideas
Will smiled. "oh believe me. We will"
Music room:
After-school, Will told the news to the club, making them cheer together. Will held up his hands up. "OK OK, i knew you guys would be happy about this"
Rachel: Happy, this is awesome. But it's mainly because it's my first school dance
Quinn: This would be great for all of our reputation
Will starts talking as he grabbed a marker and removed the cap. "well. I figured with all of us working on the same dance, it'll create tension. So I'm gonna pick three". Tina held up her hand i-i wanna-a do i-it". Santana says "dream on"
Matt: can't a guy work on the dance
Will kneel down behind the piano, and took out a hat and set it down. "i already wrote your names on a piece of paper and I'll choose randomly. That's the only fair thing". Will reach his hand in the hat and picked a random paper. He opened the paper and read the name. "quinn". Quinn smiled as brittany and santana clapped for her. Will grabbed another name. "Puck". Puck nodded as he and mike high fived. Will grabbed the third random piece of paper. "and finally, finn hudson". Finn smiled
Mercedes: you do realize you picked the men that fell in love with quinn
Will looks at both finn and puck before saying. "oh, i didn't realize that". Quinn shook her head. "no, it's fine. There's no reason i can work with finn and puck". Mercedes says "keep telling yourself that".
Will: for the rest of you. Get ready for the dance
The glee club disbanded, and the group walked out if the music room. Rachel and kurt started walking together. "i figured you wanna offer your assistance to quinn"
Kurt: they won, fair and square. Beside I'm kinda nervous about this dance
Rachel looks confused. "why?". Kurt looked around before looking back at rachel. "ok. Don't tell anyone this, but I've been talking to this guy". Rachel started to smile. "he's been real nice to me and well". Rachel squeal. "ooh, you have a crush?". Kurt shushes rachel. "stop"
Rachel: This is so great, who is he, what's his name. Is he handsome?
Kurt started to chuckle. "ok. His name is jeremiah, we met when i came out to the school. A few weeks ago, i bumped into him during lunch and we started talking.". Rachel smiled. "No way. This is big for you. Not only are you having your first crush, but also you found another gay guy".
Kurt: well he actually didn't told me he's gay
Rachel makes a confused expression. "then how do you know he's gay". Kurt says "he's been giving me signals. We've been hanging out together. And he's been flirting, i know when someone flirts". Rachel smiled. "well if you think so"
Kurt: oh i am. Oh i gotta go, I wanna talk to him about the dance
Kurt walked away as rachel made a concern expression
At santana locker, she was standing beside her open locker. Looking at herself in the mirror while adding lip gloss on her lips. Quinn walked up and says "woah. Santana lopez pampering herself during school. Gonna ask out rachel to the dance?". Santana shook her head as she closed her lip gloss and set it in her locker before closing it. "very funny. You know she's going out with jesse"
Quinn: sorry. Didn't mean to tease. But you let that happen because you waited so long to ask her out
Santana: shouldn't you be planning the school dance?
Quinn: yes. Finn and puck are gonna be meeting at my house to talk about the dance
Santana slowly nodded. Quinn says. "you know you can still call berry and tell her how you feel". Santana says "I'm more nervous about berry and jesse. He is bad news". Quinn sigh. "no, listen to me. Berry told me that jesse tried to force her to eat meat and pasta". Quinn looks confused. "you told me the last time she ate meat, she puked her guts out"
Santana: exactly. It's like he's trying to change her
Quinn sigh. "look i promise I'll keep an eye on her. But right now she seems fine. Don't worry about her, ok?". Santana nodded. "yeah". Quinn smiled until she heard some arguing behind her, and she turned around to see rory walking away while brittany was following her. "why are you getting so mad?". Rory turned around and says "we always go to breadstix for a dinner date"
Brittany: you said that's your favorite american restaurant, even though it's Italian
Rory: you know what, forget it
Rory walked away as santans and quinn stares at him. "qué demonios. What was that about?". Brittany shrugged before looking at quinn and santana. "i don't know, for the past few days, we've done nothing but fight. And i am a bubbly person"
Santana: no one questions that
Quinn looks at brittany and starts talking. "uhh, why have you been fighting?". Brittany shrugged her shoulders. "i don't know. I thought we have a good relationship. And I-". Quinn phone buzzed, making her take out her phone from her pocket and opened up a text message. "oh. The dance budget was just message to me, ok i wanna hear this, but i need to start working on my to-do list". She said before walking away
Santana looks at brittany and says "he hasn't laid a hand on you, right?". Brittany shook her head. "oh no, rory is not like that. I just don't understand why he's getting so angry"
Santana: Who knows. Is everything ok with his home life, i heard host parents treat kids badly. Has he says anything?
Brittany: he won't talk about anything
Santana: just give him some space. He'll cool off and he'll be opening himself up to you
Brittany smiled. "oh i hope so. I miss my cheerful leprechaun". Santana covered her mouth to stop herself from laughing. "you call rory your cheerful Leprechaun?". She started to laugh quietly, making brittany shake her head before slapping santana shoulder
Will was walking through the hallway while looking at a couple of papers. He walked up toward his classroom door and opened it up, seeing shelby Corcoran, sitting on his desk while looking at a photo of himself and kendra. She look up to see Will. "Ah, Mr. Schuester, nice to see you again"
Will, with confusion, walks in the room. "hey, shelby. What are you doing here?". Shelby got up and starts talking while Will started to close the door. "uhh. I just wanna talk to you about something, personal". Will quickly widen the door before walking behind his desk and set his satchel on his chair, and set the papers on his desk. "what is it you want to talk about?"
Shelby: i just wanna say, your glee club really impressed me
Will: Really? that happened two weeks ago, why now?
Shelby sat down ontop of one lf the desk while saying. "I'll admit, i am not the most open person in the world, but i don't know. Something about you, makes me. Feel weird in my stomach". Will accidentally tipped his coffee mug, letting the coffee flow on his table. Will quickly grabbed some blank papers and started wiping his table as shelby continue staring at him. Will dropped the papers in his trashcan before saying. "you don't say"
Shelby: you must be a good director for the club?
Will nodded. "well, i was a glee member back when i was a student here. It was, the most fun i had in my school years". Shelby smiled. "you know i too was in love with the theater back when i was in school. The drama, and mostly the romance". Shelby smirks at Will, who started coughing while looking away. "uhh. Well that's nice to hear. Uhh". He looked at his wrist and says "well look at the time. I need to go". Will grabbed his satchel and quickly walked out of the classroom, leaving shelby in his classroom, making her smile
Quinn house:
In the fabray living room, her father, russell was sitting on the couch while reading a newspaper until a knock was heard. Quinn came downstairs and says "that's for me"
Judy came out of the kitchen while wiping her hands. "who are you expecting?". Quinn opened the door, revealing finn, using one crutch to walk in the house. "hey". Judy and russell smiled, as he got up. Judy says "oh i knew you guys would get back together"
Quinn: mom, we are not back together. It's an assignment we're doing for school
Judy: Well just incase. I'll go cook up some nice snacks for you two
Quinn sigh until another knock was heard. Judy walked up and opened the door, revealing puck. "can i help you?". Puck was about to say something, but judy interrupted him. "oh. Your our pool guy". Puck slowly nodded "mom!" quinn said
Russell: did we forget to pay you?
Puck: uh no
Quinn: mom, dad. Puck is helping me and finn
Judy looks at puck before whispering to quinn. "are you sure you ok to be in the same room with a pool cleaner. He might steal something". Quinn made a shock expression. "mom!! puck. Is a friend". She sigh before continuing to talk. "finn will be up with us if that makes you feel better". Judy slowly nodded as finn and puck started heading upstairs, and quinn followed upstairs
The three walked into quinn room. Puck sat down on quinn bed and says "your parents are always, lovely". Quinn looks at puck as she closed the door. "I'm sorry for what they say". Puck shrugged. "it's fine. It's actually not the first time I've been judge, and it won't be my last". Finn laugh as he sat down on quinn computer chair
Quinn walked up and sat down on her bed and says. "ok, we need to start thinking on ideas on the school dance". Puck grabbed a glass cup that was on quinn nightstand and says "easy. Alcohol"
Finn: we can't have Alcohol at school, puck
Puck: then get some punch and I'll the special ingredient
Quinn sigh. "puck, focus. Alright, we're getting teased as it is and we need to make a good party to take to heat off us. All of us". Finn looks at quinn and ask "you ok?"
Quinn: yeah, it's just. Since i quit the cheerios, they've been bullying us more. I just wanna show them I'm more than just a glee club member and a cheerio
Puck turned his body to look at quinn. "hey, if anyone can make a party It's you". Quinn smiled "thanks, puck". Finn smiled at the two
The next day:
Finn and kurt were walking through the parking lot of the school. Kurt ask "so how was planning last night?". Finn shrugged "it's a good start. No slushies around the dance"
Kurt: now that's a relief
Finn laugh until they heard a bell, making the brothers turn around to see rachel riding up toward the two. "hi, guys. Ready for a new school day?"
Finn: you seem happy
Rachel jumped off her bike and walked up beside them while pulling her bike. "i am in a good mood, thanks for asking. This is my very first high school dance". finn starts talking "you planning on going with jesse?"
Rachel: of course, who else would i go?
Finn: I'm just talking
Kurt look straight ahead and stopped walking. "guys. It's him". Finn and rachel look ahead, and see Jeremiah walking toward the school with a backpack, hanging on his shoulders. "oh is that him?" rachel asked as she pointed at him
Finn: who?
Rachel: kurt crush
Finn makes a shock expression. "woah, wait. You have a crush on him. Dude, why didn't you tell me?". Kurt looks at his brother and says "I'm sorry, but it's none of your business"
Finn: Maybe not, but you, my gay brother going to a homophobic school, and a crush with one of the students, i think it's my business. Is he even gay
Kurt: yes he is
Rachel starts talking as she removed her helmet. "finn's got a point, kurt. I mean, how do you know he's gay?". Kurt turned around and says "why are you doing this, you should be supportive as a friend"
Finn: we are. I'm just looking out for you
Kurt: well i appreciate if you don't
Kurt walked away as finn sigh. "just give him time. A first crush is very hard to let go". Finn nodded "ain't that the truth. I want kurt to be happy, but i don't want him to get hurt"
Rachel: well, how about talking to jeremiah
Finn: i can't, kurt wants me to back away, and if i talk to the guy, he's gonna tell kurt, and he'll get angry with me
Rachel: well, you'll think of something. I gotta go
Rachel walked away from kurt and headed toward the bike rack
In the courtyard, artie was rolling himself toward the front doors, but azimio and karofsky came out of the doors. Azimio says "sup, cripple freak". before bumping into artie, pushing him toward the stairway as he scream until tina ran up and caught artie. "got you". Tina looks at azimio and karofsky before saying. "y-you better w-watch it". David says "s-s-sorry" before laughing with azimio, and the two walk away. Tina grabbed artie handle and started pushing him toward the front doors. "thanks, tina. I wish i wasn't this helpless"
Tina: it's no problem. You can't help it. H-how d-did you end up l-l-like this?
Artie: uhh. It's something i don't like to talk about
Tina and artie walk through the doors and started walking through the hallway. "i always a-admire your confidence. You don't let being in a wheelchair b-bother you". Artie smiled. "thanks. That's good to hear. You are the same with your stutter". Tina chuckled. "oh, here's my locker". Tina stopped pushing artie, and walked around to look at artie as he opened his locker. "h-hey, I've been meaning to talk to you. Uhh, I'm a little nervous. S-since the school dance is coming up. I-i-i was wondering if you would like to go to the dance w-with me?".
Artie looks shock before saying. "w-wait. Are you asking me out?". Tina slowly nodded. "yeah. It's obvious we won't get ask out so why don't we go, together". Artie smiled before saying. "uhh, yeah, this can be fun". Tina smiled before giving artie a kiss on the cheek before walking away
Teacher lounge:
Will walked in the room, seeing emma, using a cleanex wipe to wipe her coffee mug clean before pouring herself some coffee. He set his satchel on one of the tables before walking toward emma. "hey, emma, can i talk to you for a minute?". Emma looks confused before saying. "sure, what is it?". Emma and Will walked toward the table and sat down
Will: umm, when was the last time you got ask out
Emma jokingly ask "are you going to ask me out". Will laugh before saying. "I'm being serious". Emma shrugged "i don't know, why?"
Will: it's a little personal
Emma: your asking a guidance counselor for advice. I deal with this stull literally everyday
Will laugh. "Ok, something weird happened yesterday before i went home. Remember shelby Corcoran". Emma nodded "New Direction rival, why?". Will says "I think she came on to me yesterday". Emma makes a shock expression before smiling. "No way! i need details". Will laugh as he shook his head "nah, i can't tell you everything that happened"
Emma: i can't give you advice unless i hear what happened. And be specific
Will shrugged. "well, let's just say that when she started talking, i kinda accidentally spilled my coffee on my desk". Emma chuckled while covering her mouth. "I'm not used to that. The only women i ever went out was. Kendra"
Emma: which is exactly why you should go out with her. Yeah, i know, going out with your rival may seem inappropriate and possibly suspicious
Will: get to the point
Emma held her hands up in defense before saying. "you need to start dating again. Kendra would want this. It's almost been five years since the accident, but your never gonna move on if you actually move on". Will says "so you think i should go out on a date with Corcoran?"
Emma: better than nothing. It only takes one date to finally push the past behind. I really think you should consider going on a date with her
Will slowly nodded. "maybe. But i feel guilty". Emma sigh. "i understand. It's not going to be easy, but it'll help you, i promise". Will smiled
Back in the hallway, santana and quinn were walking together. "so how's the party planning business been going?". Quinn shrugged "it's going slow right now, but i still have good ideas". Two cheerios walked up and shot some slushies at the two faces as they walked away. Santana spit the purple slushie out of her mouth as quinn wiped the slushies out of her eyes. "i hope this dance will bring us to the top again". The two heard some arguing, and the two walked through the doors to the courtyard, seeing brittany and rory arguing again. Brittany says "i don't understand why you can't eat the spicy corn chips".
Rory: it's too spicy and it burns all the way through my body
Santana and quinn gag. Brittany says "these are my favorite chips and i just wanted to share them with you". Rory then yells out "Well, you can't always get what you want". Before walking away. Brittany shook her head as tears came out of her eyes and threw her chips in the trashcan
Santana: what happened on giving him space
Brittany: i can't help it. I wanna help him, but he yells about everything now
Quinn: giving him space or not, that doesn't give him the right to yell at you
Santana nodded. "yeah, your a nice girl, brittany. You shouldn't be in a relationship like that". Brittany says "but guys, i still love him". Quinn sigh before saying. "Ok, you just need to confront him about his mood swings". Santana nodded
Brittany: yeah, i wanted to avoid it since i don't like fighting, but i guess i need to really talk to him
Santana: but one thing. If he slaps you. Doesn't matter if it was an accident or not, send him to me
Brittany laugh as she walks away. Santana look up at the steps, seeing rachel walking down with a bag in her hands. She walked into the doors to the lunch room. Quinn looks at santana and says "Talk to her". Santana sigh before walking toward the lunch room
Rachel ran into one of the girls bathroom and opened her bag, and she started putting on a chambray dress, with visible brown stains, and also has a piece of duct tape by her belly. She looks at herself in the mirror and sigh until the door opened up, revealing santana, who stares at her costume change. "uhh. Slushie"
Rachel: no. This is my clothes I'm planning to wear to the dance
Santana covered her eyes and says "this image is making my eyes burn". Rachel look down and says "ok, it's not that great, but this is the only clothes-i mean formal clothes i own"
Santana: ever thought of asking your dads for a new dress. And an actual dress!
Rachel: their at a convention for a week
Santana shook her head before saying. "no, no, no, no, no. your not wearing that for your first high school dance". Santana walked up and pointed at the duct tape. "i accidentally ripped it". Santana nodded
Santana: yeah, i notice
Rachel says "really, san. I'm fine. Beside i don't have any other option. It's this or nothing". Santana says "it's not your only option"
Rachel looks confused. "what are you talking about". Santana says "meet me after-school, I'm taking you to a taylor shop". Santana was about to walk out of the bathroom, but rachel stopped her. "wait what are you talking about?" santana turned around to look at rachel
Santana: I'm buying you a new dress
Rachel makes a shock expressionm "what! no, that'll be too much money". Santana says "both my parents are doctor's, they love you". Rachel starts talking. "i don't want to be a burden"
Santana: your not. Your a beautiful girl, berry. You'll be torn to pieces if people seeing you wearing that
Rachel looks down before saying. "you'll really do this for me". Santana nodded "yeah. I just want to see you happy"
Rachel looks up with a smile before giving her a hug. Santana smiled before returing a hug
Rachel: I'm so lucky to have you in my life
Santana smile grew wider before whispering. "I'm the lucky one"
The bell rung, and quinn walked out of her classroom and and started walking through the hallway until she heard guitar being played in the astromony room. She walked into the room, seeing puck playing his guitar while sitting on one of the tables. "weird place to practice." Puck turns his head and notices quinn. "Oh. Yeah, I just wanted a moment for myself. I had a thought, you want the glee club to be entertainment"
Quinn: Really?
Puck: yeah, saves the school money and the glee club is incharge of the dance
Quinn smiled before walking up and sat down beside puck. He looks up and says "you know, you don't have to go overboard with the dance"
Quinn: I just want something happen in my life, good. All i have right now is glee. I just want to do something that Won't break
Puck set his guitar down and says. "you can make a good dance, you just need to be patient and don't feel bad about yourself. You gotta believe in yourself. I mean, your a star to me". Quinn smiled, but started to think "wait. What did you say?". Puck, with confusion, says "your a star to me". Quinn looks up at the ceiling, looking at the model planets and stars. "star" she whispers
Tailor shop:
Santana, brittany and rachel walked into a tailor shop. "remember this place?". Rachel nodded "yeah, this is where you got your quinceanera dress". Santana looks at rachel "and this is where you get a new dress". Brittany says "i also need one. Maybe rory would like to see me in a brand new dress"
Rachel is now standing on a step stool and is being measured by a tailor worker. The worker wrapped the measuring tape around rachel waist before telling another worker some numbers, which she started writing down. Santana grabbed the stain dress, and dropped it in the trashcan
One tailor worker walked up to rachel while holding a bag, and opened it up, showing rachel a dress, making her look shock as she covered her chest. "is that all of it?".
Santana and brittany were sitting on a chair while drinking a couple of soda until the tailor walked out of a dressing room. "the new rachel berry, take one". Rachel came out of the dressing room, wearing a cami london pleated dress. She spin in a circle before looking at the two ex-cheerleaders. Brittany and santana looked at each other before giving a thumbs down
The next dress rachel came out, she's wearing a halter midi dress. Rachel shrugged, but santana and brittany shook their heads together
Rachel came out a third time, wearing a red eloise midi dress. Santana and brittany shook their heads again, but santana says "can i take that one?". The tailor nodded as rachel went back into the dressing room
Rachel came out again, wearing a Black Ribbed Dress. Brittany smiled before saying. "you look beautiful, rachel". Santana blushed before saying. "yeah, you do. I think we got a winner". Rachel smiled while looking at herself in the mirror
Santana, rachel, and brittany came out of the shop while holding plastic bags that's covering their new dresses. Santana says "now your ready for the dance". Rachel looks at the dress "this is the best dress i ever got". Brittany took a couple steps away before taking out her phone and dial a number. She waited for a few seconds until she heard rory voice "yeah"
Brittany: rory. I just got this beautiful dress, and i can't wait for you to see it
Rory: uhh, actually, I've been thinking. About the fight
Brittany: what about it?
Rachel and santana look at brittany. Rory says "this is hard for me to say, but i think we should. Break up". Brittany makes a shock expression. "wait what?!, no. Please, rory, we can still fix this". Rory says "I'm sorry, brittany" before hanging up. Brittany started crying as she kneel down. Santana and rachel ran up and kneel down, and both gave her a hug
The next day:
Brittany was by her locker, taking out a couple of books, not knowing mercedes, santana, rachel, and quinn were staring at her. "how was she?" quinn asked
Santana took a deep breath. "never seen her this upset. You gotta admit, this was her real first relationship". Brittany closed her locker and started walking away
Quinn: I'm sorry i wasn't there, but i just got this genius idea for the dance
Mercedes: dam. She doesn't look good
Rachel says "let me go talk to her". Rachel walked up toward brittany and see her pouring a cup of red slushie from the slushie machine. "uhh. Brittany. It's me, rachel". Brittany looks at rachel as she finishing pouring the slushie
Rachel: look. I understand that yesterday was very rude. But you shouldn't let a break-up, affect your day to day life
Brittany: actually. I'm fine
Brittany dropped a straw in the slushie and took a sip before walking away and notice rory walking up, and she threw the slushie in his face as she walked past him. Rachel watches with shock, not knowing santana and quinn walked around her and pulled rory into the music room. The two girls pushed rory down on the bleachers. "ok, brittany is like a sister to us. And you hurt her real bad".
Quinn: you know something, brittany is better off. You've been yelling at her for days now
Rory wiped his eyes before saying. "i know, i treated her bad". Santana cut him off. "you treated her like shit. You broke up with her on the phone after she bought a dress to impress you". Rory shook his head "it's a little more complicated then what you think"
Santana: what's complicated about breaking our friends heart
Rory: i figured if i rip it like a band-aid, it'll softened the blow
Quinn: what are you talking about?
Rory sigh before saying. "you wouldn't understand". Santana starts talking in a frustrated expression. "oh we understand. Your like every boy, first she's nice and fun, but then you grow bored and throw her away without thinking about her feelings". Quinn slowly turn her head to look at santana. Rory says "it's not like that"
Santana: then what is the problem?
Rory stood up with anger and yelled out "IM BEING DEPORTED!!!". The two girls made a shock and confused expression. Quinn says "come again?". Rory slowly says "I'm being deported. I love my country, i miss my family. But i love america, so i decided to extend my exchange program for the remaining of my high school years, but it was denied. I just found out about this a couple days ago"
Quinn: so you are forced to go back to ireland?
Santana: when?
Rory stay silent before whispering. "the end of this school year". Quinn sigh before saying. "that is why you've been in a bad mood. Your are force to go back to your home land"
Rory: i love it here. I love glee. I love brittany, you were all like a second family to me. And I'm gonna lose you all
Santana: wow. We're sorry to hear this, rory. But that doesn't excuse on how you treat brittany
Rory: i know, i just thought if i break up with her. It'll soften the heart break she'll have next year
Quinn: rory. She thinks your a jerk
Rory: it's better like this. We obviously don't have a future together, so why not do something that'll make her think she can do better
Santana: that girl is crying. And when you go back to ireland, leaving a girl who was in love with you and is crying. You have nobody to blame, but yourself
Santana walked out of the music room with quinn, leaving rory in the room. Santana and quinn started walking through the hallway. "ugh, he made me so mad"
Quinn: i kinda feel bad actually. He is forced to leave america. I feel bad for both of them
Santana: Brittany has been like a little sister to me. Because he breaks her heart so he can leave, he is so stupid. He doesn't deserve her
Quinn: its not him or brittany your talking about
Santana sigh before saying. "i tried to talk to her, but she needed a new dress so i took her out and she got one". Quinn smiled. "aww, that's sweet"
Santana: Don't get used to it. She's happy
Quinn: you don't like the guy she's going out with. Just tell her how you feel about him, she'll understand
Santana: i don't wanna intervene, it's her first dance. It should be memorable
Quinn nodded "yeah, but what about you". Santana sigh before looking down
School gym:
the school wrestling team were practicing ontop of a mat, the morbidly obese girl lifted a wrestler boy in the air before dropping him on the ground hard. a male coach walked up and says "good. Now jeremiah and wilder, go at it"
Jeremiah and another wrestler walked on the mat just when the girl walked away. Thw two boys then tackled each other to the ground. Kurt walked into the gym, seeing jeremiah holding the other student down on the ground. The coach blew his whistle. "very good. Alright boys, and laura, wash up. See you tomorrow". The wrestling team grabbed their bags from the bleachers and walked away. Jeremiah notice kurt and walked up to him. "hey, man. What are you doing here?"
Kurt: uhh. I was actually hoping if we can talk, real quick
Jeremiah slowly nodded. "uhh, sure. Let me get change quick". Jeremiah walked into the boys locker room just when quinn, finn, and puck walked into the room while pushing a cart filled with supplies. Finn notice kurt and says "hey, lil bro. What are you doing here?"
Kurt: I'm actually waiting for jeremiah. Gonna ask him to be my date to the dance
Finn: kurt, i know your not gonna like hearing this, but do you think he's gay. Or just wanna believe it
Kurt: finn. Please, i don't wanna get through this today
Jeremiah came out of the locker room, wearing his school clothes. "alright. Let's go". Kurt and jeremiah walked out of the gym as finn watches.
Puck opened up a packet of rubber balloons and says. "ok, this is gonna take awhile". Quinn grabbed a banner and says "we can do this. I got most of the stuff from the astromony room. We just need to start working on the gym right now". Puck grabbed an air pump from the cart and started pumping air in the balloons. He notice quinn giving him a glare. "i work smart, but hard". Quinn laugh as she started grabbing models of stars from the cart
Jeremiah and kurt came out of the school and walked into the courtyard. The two sat down on one of the tables. Jeremiah starts talking. "ok, so what is it?"
Kurt: ok. We've been hanging out for awhile now
Jeremiah: only for a week
Kurt: well. This is getting me nervous
Jeremiah: dude, what is it?
Kurt took a deep breath before saying. "will you go to the dance with me. As a date". Jeremiah makes a shock expression. "ooh. Really". Kurt nodded "i know you didn't expect this, but i feel like we should finally gone out. What do you say? its kinda hard to tell from your face"

Jeremiah stares at kurt for a moment before saying. "uhh. Sure, why not". Kurt made a smile. "oh really. This is great. We can get dinner before we go there, but only if your hungry". Jeremiah made a nervous chuckle while watching him
In one of the classrooms. The school bell rung, and the students, including tina, started packing their stuff. Tina turned her body and see artie rolling himself toward her. "hey. Uhh. Your cherish awaits". Tina smiled.
Artie rolled out of the classroom with tina sitting on his lap. Tina ask "is this hard for you?". Artie shook his head. "i own a dog and he always does this". Tina giggled as artie rolled up toward tina locker. "and here you are. Please leave a 5 star review". Tina laugh as she climb off of artie lap and opened her locker. "no water or music, be glad I'm leaving a 3 star review". Artie laugh before saying. "hey, can i say something". Tina looks at artie
Artie: your kinda loosing your stutter. That's great, it means your learning to control it
Tina looks around nervous before saying. "can i say something?". Artie nodded. Tina took a deep breath. "ok. I've actually been faking my stutter". Artie looks confused. "wait what".
Tina: yeah. I feel ashamed of myself for doing it
Artie: i don't understand. Why fake a disability
Tina: look at me. I'm a chinese goth girl who nobody talks to, i try to talk to people, but they always walk away because of the way I'm dressed. So i started telling myself why bother making friends. So i started faking the stutter when someone try to talk to me so they will walk away
Artie: you fake a disability?!
Tina: I'm sorry, but during glee, i started having fun and love the club. Including you, i finally realize you guys are my friends. I then realize I've started dropping my stutter because i feel accepted
Artie stares at tina before saying. "ok, I'm out". Artie turned himself around and started rolling away, but tina started following him. "artie, wait! i didn't mean for this to go on". Artie rolled himself back around to look at tina. "tina. Do you know how i got into this wheelchair". Tina stares at artie
Artie: it was a family night. But my mom got called into work so she couldn't go. My dad took me, and my older sister for a night out. It was raining, and my dad forgot to fix the wipers on the windshield. Sure they work sometimes, but almost never. When they did wipe the windshield. My dad saw a car coming up and ram into us. Then the car behind us hit us from the back. The glass shards from that car and the back windshield were shot into my back, breaking through my spine. I survived, but my dad and sister weren't so lucky
Tina covered her mouth in shock. "oh my god, artie i had no idea". Artie nodded. "nobody does. So as you may guess. Faking a disability really offends me as a person who outlived his dad and sister with the cost of my legs". Artie rolled himself back around and started rolling away from tina as she made a guilty expression
Three days later:
At breadstix, jesse and rachel, wearing their dance clothes, were sitting at a booth. Rachel says "it was actually a great idea to get a bite to eat before the dance". Jesse took a sip of his water. "yeah, party food usually suck". Rachel smiled as she took another bite of her vegan food. "beside. They probably don't have any vegan food there"
Jesse: i gotta ask. I don't understand that vegan nonsense
Rachel: do you know how many poor defenseless animals that died from people who harvest their meat
Jesse: who the hell cares. We didn't kill them
Rachel: i tried non-vegan food. And still not a fan, but i think you need to take a shot on vegan
Rachel grabbed her plate and offer it to jesse, who waved his hand away. "get that shit away from me". Rachel, with a sad expression, set her plate back down. She looked back up, seeing santana walking in the restaurant, wearing the dress she picked up, and started talking to the hostess. "santana?". Santana notice rachel and jesse. She sigh before walking toward the two and says "you guys on a date"
Jesse: we were until you showed up
Rachel: jesse. This is santana, she is part of the glee club
Jesse snapped his fingers. "oh yeah. You were that cheerleader that was about to quit". Santana did a sarcastic laugh. "tu hijo de puta" she whispered
Rachel: uhh. Are you meeting your date
Santana: nah, I'm going solo tonight. I'm just going to get something to eat
Rachel: oh. You can join us if you want
Jesse looks at rachel. "we already ordered". Rachel says "well she can share my food. I'm not that hungry anyway". Santana shrugged as rachel scooted herself toward jesse, letting santana sit down. Rachel pushed the plate toward santana, but she pushed it back. "berry. This is your food"
Rachel: i don't mind. I'm full anyway
Jesse: and she can skip a few meals. She eats so much i am broke. Seriously, she eats too much
Santana shook her head. "i don't think it's nice to shame your girlfriend about her weight. I think she looks good. Especially in that dress. Hey jesse, did you ever notice rachel new dress?". Jesse shrugged "a dress is a dress. Doesn't make any difference". Rachel slowly looks down. Santana shook her head. "having a girlfriend means you need to appreciate what she's wearing. It's new too, i bought it for her"
Jesse: I'll tell you this. Why not worry about your girlfriend instead of mine. Yeah, rachel told me. How's your gay life treating you in that school of yours
Rachel makes a confused expression "our school. Cause we go to the same school". Santana says "rachel. Stay out of this". Rachel whispers "ok" before sitting back. Santana says "yeah, my social life hasn't been great since my outing, but i love who i am and nobody gonna change that. Berry is perfect the way she is". Rachel smiles at santana
Jesse: then if you like who you are. Then why don't you have a date to the dance
Santana and jesse glare at each other until rachel was clapping her hands quickly with a nervous expression. "ok, that's enough". All of a sudden, kurt and jeremiah, both wearing tuxes walked up. "oh. Hey guys. We ready for the dance". Rachel nodded as she forcibly push santana out of the booth. "yes. Yes we are. Let's go". Jesse climb out of the booth and followed the boys out of the restaurant. Santana look and see rachel looking in her wallet and sigh. "what's wrong?".
Rachel: i uhh. I don't have any money to pay the bill
Santana: shouldn't the gentlemen pay
Rachel: he left his wallet at home because he didn't know we were eating out. Oh boy
Santana took out a couple of twenties and set them on the table. Rachel grabbed the money and says "I'm sorry i can't let you do that. You already got me the dress". Santana took the money out of rachel grip. "it's a gift. This is what friends are for" santana said before setting the money on the table before guiding rachel out of the restaurant
Now in the school gym, with the lights dimmed. The party is set. With models of planets and stars hanging from the ceiling. The stage is set up in the side of the gym. Stage lights were moving in the dance floor while a disco ball was spinning in the center of the gym. A food stand was set up by the bleachers, where rory was taking a couple bites of the chips until he notice brittany walking in the gym with quinn
Back on the stage, finn, mike and matt were standing infront of a set microphone stands while singing

This is a nice party you set up"

Puck smiled. The head cheerio says "yesh, obviously. Dancing under the stars. Good theme. It's too bad you couldn't focus this energy on the getting a date". Quinn makes a confused expression. "what?"
Cheerio: you broke up with finn. He's one of the hottest guys in the school and you broke up with him. Meanwhile you set your own school dance without a date. Wow, talk about being a loser
The Cheerios walked away as quinn shook her head before taking a large sip of her punch. Puck says "hey. Forget about her". Quinn says "Even when i did something that makes me feel good. They make me feel like crap. But she's right, i am the hottest girl here and i don't have a date to my own dance"
Puck: you said you wanted to focus on yourself
Quinn: i know i did, but. When will i find myself
Puck: that's a question for yourself. Until then, you wanna dance
Quinn smiled. "puck" she whispers as he took her hand and guided her to the dance floor
Rachel and jesse were standing beside the bleachers, moving from the beat. Jesse says "hey I'm going to use the restroom real quick". Rachel nodded as jesse walked away. Rachel looks around and notice rory sitting on the bleachers. She walked up and sat down beside him. "hey, why aren't you out there dancing?"
Rory: im actually planning on going home
Rachel: why? the dance is starting to get good

Rachel says "is it because of brittany?". Rory looked down. "just apologize". Rory looks up to look at rachel before saying. "we can never happen. It'll all go away one day and it'll be a memory". Rachel nods "yeah, but isn't the memories are the reason we do it. It makes us happy that we experience what we wanted to do, even if it doesn't last". Rory stares at rachel with confusion

Rory slowly nodded. "you got a point" he said
At the food stand. Tina was taking a chip while talking to mercedes. The two turned their bodies to see artie rolling up while looking at the stand before turning his head and notice them. Mercedes says "I'll givd you guys some privacy" before walking away
Artie: hey
Tina: hey. I didn't think you'll come
Artie nodded. "i didn't, but my mom is working late again today so i figured it's either this or wait for my mom to help me upstairs". Tina says "artie. I am so sorry about my fake stutter"
Artie: uhh. I actually wanna apologize, i overreacted
Tina: you shouldn't. I faked a disability, but you can never walk
Artie looks at his legs. "i was offered physical therapy, but they never work. I'm fine for who i am. I'm also glad you like who you are too". Tina smiled. "can we just start over?" she asked, making artie smiled as he held up his hand. "oh hey, I'm artie abrams". Tina giggled before shaking his hand. "tina cohan-chang".
Rachel notice tina and artie and smiled while she was still sitting on the bleachers until santana walked up and sat down beside her. "where's that boyfriend of yours?". Rachel says "in the bathroom"
Santana: your just going to sit here until he gets back?
Rachel: yeah, is something wrong with that?
Santana: well. It's your first dance
Rachel: I'm having a good time so far
Santana sigh before saying. "you can't sit here while waiting for him". Rachel says "he's in the bathroom, he'll be here"

Karofsky walked up and says "relationship. Who would wanna go out with a girl like you". Santana growled. "back off, karofsky". David shrugged before saying. "you know something. You are at the right spot in this gym. The loser seat, this is where losers with no date sits". David walked away as santana shook her head before looking at rachel and see her head looking down with a sad expression. "i want to have fun in my first school dance"
Santana shook her head. "c'mon, let's go". Santana pulled rachel up to her feet. "what?". Santana says "this is your first dance, and I'm gonna make it memorable. C'mon". Santana pulled rachel arm and the two walked through the crowd
Jeremiah was standing by the dance floor, moving from the beat until kurt walked up with two cups of punch. Jeremiah took the drink and says "thank you"

Kurt looks at Jeremiah before saying. "Jeremiah, you ok?". Jeremiah nodded "yeah, I'm having loads of fun". Kurt looks at his drink before saying. "jerry. Are you ok with being here with me?". Jeremiah sigh, not knowing finn was walking around and notice the two
Jeremiah: look. I really like you, kurt. But i didn't realize i was giving you the impression

Jeremiah slowly nodded before saying. "I'm not gay, kurt". Kurt made a sad expression before looking down. "the only reason i said yes was because i didn't wanna hurt your feelings". Kurt took a deep breath while putting his drink down on the bleachers. "we're still friends right?". Kurt slowly nodded. He turned around to walk away as Jeremiah sigh before walking away
Finn walked up and gave his brother a hug. Kurt quickly wrapped his arms around finn. "sorry, bro" finn said. Kurt pulled away before saying. "you were right. I was just kidding myself, he was my first crush"
Finn: you just need to leave your eyes opened. And next time, ask if he's gay
Kurt laugh before saying. "thanks for looking after me". Finn nodded. "no problem. Let's get some snacks". Finn and kurt walked toward the food stand
Brittany notice the audience were starting to slow dance with their partners, and she took a large gulp of punch before putting it on the table. Rory walked up, grabbed brittany by her waist and dipped her before kissing her on the lips. He brought her back up, and she pushed him away. "what the hell are you doing? you broke up with me".
Rory: Brittany, I'm sorry. I'm being deported
Brittany made a shock expression. "yeah, i thought if i broke up with you before i go, it'll soften the blow". Brittany says "why didn't you tell me?". Rory shrugged. "i was sad and angry. But if their is someone i wanted to spend my remaining times in america. It's you". Brittany smiled while looking at rory
Santana and rachel walked on stage together before santana flick a switch on the music table, turning the music off. Santana grabbed the microphone and starts talking. "Listen up. I like to thank quinn fabray to make this dance". Quinn smiled with puck. "with the help of some members of the glee club. You might think we're different, and we are, but that doesn't mean we are all the same. We have something in common. Love. That's why were all here together, for love". Rachel smiles at santana. "now i have a song for all the couples out there". The music started and santana sang to the beat while looking at rachel

Santana and rachel stares at each other while singing together The two circled around each other as they sang

Matt guised mercedes to the dance floor and the two started slow dancing together

Quinn started walking through the hallway until she found a girls bathroom. She slowly opened the door and made a shock expression when she sees jesse making out with an unknown girl, who was sitting on the sink. Quinn slowly closed the door as she looked at the door before walking away
I'll admit, not my best. But hey, good right. So much has happen in this single story. Santana has made enemies with jesse. Shelby came onto Will, who reluctantly asked her out. And so much romance
This is the last time tina will make a stutter. And rory is going to be gone soon. And don't worry about kurt, he will find love one day
