My White Wolf, My Omega

An Omegaverse and BL story (RATED M)

Summary:

Zero Kiryu has a secret that he keeps even from his best friend Yuki. Everyone knows that he is the lone survivor of the Kiryu Clan, which were regarded as the best vampire hunters to ever exist. But What if I told you that he wasn't even a Kiryu at all?

Zero is the biological son of Shizuka Hio, who is also the woman who killed his adoptive parents, which fueled him with his hatred for vampires, even though he himself is a pureblooded vampire.

But being a pureblood isn't Zeros' only secret. Once a month on the night of the full moon, he has a chance of undergoing a transformation if he is bathed in the moonlight's glow. Zero is the Hio Clan's White Wolf, an incredibly rare type of omega vampire that gives males the ability to birth children.

Chapter 1: Fur As White as Snow

Today was not going to be a good day, Zero could already tell. Since he woke up this morning, he had a splitting headache that just wouldn't seem to go away. Not to mention he felt feverish, and his body was hurting all over, especially in the lower part of his abdomen where his pelvis was. That could only mean one thing, that his monthly was about to start at any moment now. But as one of the only two prefect's that worked at the school, he had a duty to fulfill before he could retire for the night.

And it wasn't that he had a sense of responsibility to uphold, but he knew he couldn't leave it to his partner to deal with by herself. Yuki always did try her best, but she was too soft and was kind of a pushover, which is why she needed a hard ass like him around to scare the public into submission. Currently, he was at the Class Exchange where the Night Class students were about to exit the Moon Dorms, and just like how it was every day, there was a crowd of adoring Day Class students waiting at the gate to greet their idols.

Yuki blew the whistle she had hanging around her neck, but of course the crowd just ignored her. "Please stand in a single file line, ladies! I know you're excited to see the Night Class, but they won't be able to walk to the school if you guys keep blocking the path!" Yuki said frantically as she tried to tame her fellow classmates, but to no avail. Zero stood off to the side with his hands in his pockets while he watched his best friend getting utterly ignored. He sighed, because he really didn't want to have to get involved considering he wasn't feeling good. But oh well, looks like he was going to have to help her.

Zero easily walked through the rampaging crowd of screaming fan girls to join Yuki by the front gate. He turned to face the crowd, who could sense his dark presence and they had already started to calm down just by seeing the aggravated, silver haired teenager. He sighed deeply before he put on his signature scowl and glared at them with a sharp gaze that just screamed 'If you don't do what I say, then I'll kill you'. What Yuki had failed to accomplish for the past hour, Zero was able to do in mere seconds. The girls all shut up and formed two perfect rows on opposite sides of the path and bowed their heads respectfully as they waited for the gates to open.

"God they're just so damn annoying and loud. Why do we have to do this same dance every single day like they don't know the drill already?" Zero said underneath his breath as he pinched the bridge of his nose. All that screaming, plus Yuki's whistle only made his head hurt even more. Yuki noticed how much paler he was looking today, and instinctively went to place a hand on his forehead. Zero glared at her but admitted that her cold hands felt good against his burning face, so he let her do it anyways. "Zero! You have a fever! Why didn't you tell me you weren't feeling good today? You should be in your room resting!"

He just shrugged his shoulders and then proceeded to swat her hand away. "Well, I knew that I couldn't trust you to handle this group on your own. You needed me, obviously. Because if I wasn't here to put them in line you would still be struggling to hold them off. Or am I wrong?" He said nonchalantly as he started digging a finger around in his ear, acting all cool. But on the inside, he was dying. The longer he stayed outside, he could feel the night drawing closer. Every fiber in his body could sense the rising of the moon. So, he was hoping that those damned vampires would hurry up and just come out already.

As soon as that thought passed through his mind, the gates started opening on their own and the dazzling Night Class students that everyone had been waiting for started pouring out. But none of them shown more radiantly than their leader Kaname Kuran did. He was leading the group lock a herder guiding his flock. The minute that Yuki saw him, a blush spread across her face. Ever since she was a kid, she had an undeniable crush on the pureblooded vampire. But she knew that he only saw her as a little sister, and oh how she wished that he didn't.

Zero saw that familiar look of pining on her face and he clenched his teeth. He walked up behind her and then rested his arm on top of her head, making her jump from the sudden contact. "Why are you looking at him like that? He's a disgusting pureblood, a monster even among the leaches. How many times do I have to tell you to stay away from that bastard?" He said with venom dripping off the tip of his tongue. Yuki glared at him and then stepped away, making him lose his balance as he stumbled forward.

"Don't talk about Lord Kaname like that! He's not like the others, and he's a good person. He's kind and he's gentle, unlike someone else I know." She said as she rolled her eyes and scoffed. Zero could feel a vein pop out on his forehead, because he knew that she was talking about him. But when he opened his mouth to argue back, he felt a sensation in his stomach that made him blush. He awkwardly shuffled from one foot to the other as he tried not to make it not obvious that something was bothering him, but of course it was too late.

"Ah, Kiryu. Are you not feeling well today?" Asked Kaname as he stopped to talk to the two prefects. Zero growled between his clenched teeth as he glared at the man he absolutely despised. "Sh-shut up. Don't talk to me pureblood. It's none of your god damn business how I'm feeling so…" He couldn't finish his statement as he released a gasp and went to pinch his nose. He could smell Kaname's pheromones, and his body was starting to react. He couldn't wait any longer, he had to get out of there quickly before his secret was revealed.

"Actually Yuki… I think I'm going to turn in early for the night. I trust that you can handle the rounds by yourself after the Day Class students head back to their dorms. You're capable of that much at least." He said as he turned around and started walking away, but Yuki grabbed him by the hand and stopped him. He looked over his shoulder to see her wide brown eyes, staring up at him with worry. "Why don't I ask the headmaster for some time off too? Someone needs to take care of you when you're sick and-" "NO!" Zero suddenly blurted out, shocking her.

He realized what he did and covered his mouth in embarrassment before he looked away and sighed. "I mean, no thank you. I just want to be alone tonight, and I don't need some annoying little girl getting up in my space. So just focus on patrolling tonight, and I'll see you in the morning." He said before he retreated again and started making his way to his private quarters at headmaster Cross's house. Yuki glared at he back of his head and crossed her arms before puffing out her cheeks. "Geez, why does he have to be such a jerk all the time? All I wanted to do was help him, but he just can't stop being a hardhead."

Kaname chuckled as he stood beside her and affectionately rubbed the top of her head, making her blush come back just from that single, innocent action. "That's just Kiryu being Kiryu. We know how he is, so don't take what he said personally Yuki. And thank you for being so thoughtful. If I were the one that was sick, I would gladly accept your help if you offered to take care of me." He said as he flashed her a smile that made her heart jump into her throat. "O-Of course Lord Kaname! But I can't even imagine someone like you getting sick." She said as she laughed nervously while rubbing the back of her head.

They chatted for a little while longer before Kaname checked his wristwatch and noticed how much time had passed. They finished up their conversation and started to part ways. "It appears we've talked longer than I anticipated, but nevertheless, I hope you have an easygoing night, Yuki. I will talk to you later." He said before he bowed to her and continued walking to the school. But with his back turned to her, his face became oddly serious. "Seiren." He called for his bodyguard who appeared out of nowhere by his side.

"Yes, Lord Kaname?" She said as she walked with a straight face. "Did you do that thing that I asked of you?" He said as he gave her a side eye and she nodded her head, before withdrawing a manilla folder from underneath her arm. "Yessir. I investigated Zero Kiryu's background like you have requested. And my research was quite fruitful, my lord." He took the folder from her and opened it and started reading the contents. As he read, a smirk formed on his face and his eyes started shining mischievously.

"I had my suspicions, but never did I think I would be right about this. How interesting." He said before he gave the folder back to her. He dismissed Seiren who disappeared once again, and he walked with a devilish look on his face. Hanabusa caught up to his favorite pureblood prince and stood in front of him while he walked backwards. "What's with that look on your face Lord Kaname? I don't think I've ever seen you grin so hard like that before." He asked curiously. Kaname smirked again as he addressed his subordinate. "I'm just excited because soon, we will have a new vampire joining our class."

Later that night, Zero was holed up in his room with the curtains to his windows drawn completely shut, making sure that no moonlight peeked inside. He was wrapped up tightly underneath his bedsheets as his body shivered. He was panting with a deep scarlet blush spread across his face, and his groin was aching. Smelling that bastard's pheromones was sending him spiraling over the edge and were making emotions inside of him that he hated feeling, arise from the pits of his stomach. "Damnit! Why now? Why did it have to be tonight?" He said aggravated as he buried his face into his pillow.

He heard a knock at the door and chose to ignore it, but the person knocking decided to come inside anyways. "Oooohh Zero? How are you feeling my son?" Said Headmaster Cross as he walked inside while holding a silver tray with a cup of tea, some medicine and blood tablets in a glass bottle. Zero gritted his teeth before he sat up and chucked a pillow at his adoptive father who swiftly dodged it, making sure not to spill anything off the tray. "Now that wasn't nice! I only came here to make sure that my little Zero was feeling okay, but I guess I'm not appreciated."

He said as he pouted and placed the silver tray on top of Zero's nightstand and pulled up a chair to sit beside him. "What I'd appreciate is peace and quiet, but of course you just had to invade my privacy with that annoying sounding voice of yours." Zero said as he rubbed his tired eyes. Cross was busy making his medicinal concoction and he made sure that the tea was still hot before adding a blood tablet to it, and then handing Zero his medicine. "These suppressants should make you feel better soon." He told his adopted son who put the pill in his mouth and started chugging his tea to wash it down.

Zero gagged as the bitter taste of the pull flooded his mouth and inched its way down his throat. "What the hell old man?! Why does it taste like that?" He said as he started drinking more of the tea to wash the bad taste out of his mouth. "Sorry, but I was messing around with the formula since I must make your medicine myself. These should be a lot stronger than the ones I've had you take in the past. So, think of this as the testing phase." Cross said before taking the empty cup from Zero's hands and setting it down on the table.

After he finished his medicine, Zero laid back down, pulled the blanket over his head and sighed loudly. "This is all Kuran's fault. He got way too close to me during the Class Exchange and now my body is the worst it's been in a while. It was like he was purposefully fanning his scent in my face!" He said as he tried to sound angry, but if Cross could see the expression on his face right now, you could see the lust written all over it. "Well, I highly doubt that he did it on purpose. The only person that knows about your secret is me, so he must have done it intentionally."

He picked up the tray and the empty teacup before he started walking away to leave, but as he stood in the doorway, he turned around to ask the silver haired teen one more thing. "Before I go, is there anything else you might need? I know it's going to be a rough night for you." He asked sincerely, but Zero just shook his head underneath the blanket. "Well alright then. Goodnight Zero, I'll check on you again in the morning." He said before he closed the door to allow his adopted son to get some well-deserved rest.

Yuki was doing her rounds as usual, but instead of being her happy go lucky self, she was deeply depressed. After all these years of her and Zero knowing each other, she thought they had grown a lot closer but he still seemed to hold her at an arm's length. No matter how hard she tried to make him open up to her, he only seemed to pull back even more. "He's like this every time… He's always getting sick, but he never wants me to help him. After living together for the past four years, you'd think he'd be more vulnerable around me. But I guess not." She said as she sighed.

A sound caught her ears, and she immediately went into prefect mode. She cupped a hand around her ear and tried to focus on the sound, and that's when she heard it again. It was the sound of two giggling schoolgirls. "Oh, come on! Even after I told all of them to head back to the dorms, of course I'd have some stragglers! Typical, and on the day when Zero isn't here too." She was standing on a nearby roof when she spotted them lingering on the inside of the fence near some bushes, no doubt having found a way to scale the wall and entering the schoolgrounds.

"Hey! You two down there! Don't you go anywhere!" She shouted at them before she hopped off the roof and grabbed onto a tree branch to slow down her descent, and then gracefully landing on her feet like a gymnast. She strode over to the girls and grabbed them by the arms before they could go anywhere. "What the hell do you two think you're doing?! You know it's forbidden to be out at night, it's dangerous!" Yuki said as she scolded them, but the two teenaged girls just rolled their eyes.

"And just how is it dangerous? Geez, this is private property, and we have security for a reason! If it's so dangerous, then why are the Night Class students allowed out at this hour, but we aren't?" Said one of the two girls. "Yeah! You probably made up that rule Yuki so that you can hog all the hotties to yourself!" Said the other one, and Yuki had a look of disdain in response. "What?! You know that's not true! Headmaster Cross even stated that was the rule in the beginning of the semester!" She said as she stomped her foot in aggravation, but the two girls soon started squealing which made her jump in shock.

Standing behind her were two of the most popular members of the Night Class, Aido Hanabusa and Kain Akatsuki. "Why weren't we invited to the party?" Said the handsome blonde boy with a princely looking face. He walked over to the three girls and stroked the hair of one of them, before taking a lock into his hand and giving it a kiss. Yuki got between them however with a glare as she placed a hand on Artemis, her antivampire weapon that was still strapped to her thigh.

"You know the rules Aido. I don't want to have to fight you, but if you don't go back to class this instant then I'm not going to have no choice but to use force." Hanabusa smirked before he shrugged his shoulders, and Akatsuki came to stand by his side with that regular blank look on his face. "Be careful Aido. You wouldn't want to upset Lord Kaname again now do you?" Akatsuki said to his comrade, but Hanabusa just laughed it off. "I'll only get in trouble if he finds out. And I don't want to hear that from you, hypocrite. You came with me because you couldn't resist wanting a late-night bite either." He said as he licked his lips.

"A late night bite? OMG! That's such a sexy thing to say!" Said one of the two girls as they started shrieking again. "Yuki turned around and again to face them and looked at them with a serious expression. "I'm not going to tell you two again! Go back to the dorms right now. If you do, then I won't report you both to the headmaster. I'll just sweep it under the rug this time, understood?" The two girls groaned but complied anyways and left. They didn't want to have another mark on their records which could get them kicked out of school for good.

Hanabusa groaned as he pouted. "Well, that's no fun! When did you become such a buzzkill Yuki? I can see that Kiryu must be rubbing off on you." He said as he crossed his arms and smirked when a playful idea popped into his head. "Since you stopped us from having fun with those girls, then why don't you have some fun with us instead?" He said as he disappeared in a flash and appeared behind her. She had no time to react when he wrapped his arms around her body and brushed the hair away from her shoulders to reveal her neck. "You know, you have a very delicious scent. Did you hurt yourself somewhere?" He said as he slunk his hand down her arm.

She tried to struggle, but he was just too strong compared to her. Hanabusa grabbed her hand and flipped it over, palm up where he saw her brazed skin that was raw and dripping with blood. "You cut your hand when you jumped down from that tree earlier. But don't worry, I'll make you feel better real soon." He said as he pulled her hand up to his face and licked her palm, which sent a shiver up her spine. The minute he tasted her blood, his eyes started glowing with a red luster. "This is… Akatsuki, you really need to try this!" He hollered to his best friend who also started licking her hands, and Yuki couldn't take it anymore. "No! Get away! ZERO!" She shouted out, desperate for his help.

Even though he was in another part of the school at the headmaster's house, he was able to hear Yuki call out his name with his enhanced hearing. He sat straight up in bed and gasped before he looked towards his covered window. "Yuki!" He said before he stood up and started ruffling through his closet. He knew it was risky, but he didn't have a choice. If she was desperate enough to be screaming his name, then that must mean she was in a lot of trouble, and he had no time to waste. He slipped on a jacket and pulled the hood up before throwing on his school blazer and putting on a pair of sunglasses.

It wasn't the best protection against the moonlight, but it was the best solution that he could think of. After getting dressed, he bravely opened his bedroom door and braced himself for what was to come next. Normally, he wouldn't be this dumb to even consider going outside during a full moon. But Yuki needed him, and he wasn't going to let her down. "Come on Zero… Don't be afraid. You got this!" He pumped himself up before stepping outside and rushing out of the headmaster's house towards Yuki's location by following the smell of her blood.

Back where Yuki was right outside of the school's main building, she was still sandwiched between Hanabusa and Akatsuki who were entranced by the taste of her blood. She was on the verge of crying as memories from her childhood flashed in her mind. She remembered about the last time she was attacked by a vampire, on the same fateful night that she met Kaname for the first time. She thought she had gotten over her fear of vampires, but here she was, too scared to move. "Get your hands off of her right now." She heard an angry sounding voice, and she realized exactly who it was.

She smiled brightly as she looked at her savior with an expression of pure relief. "Zero!" She said happily to him. Zero was standing a little bit aways from them with his Bloody Rose aimed right for Hanabusa's head. After hearing the clank of the chain on Zero's gun, Hanabusa was brought back to his senses as he looked up to see the infuriated vampire hunter. "Aw crap. So, you're here now, huh?" He said before letting Yuki go. "I heard you were sick so I thought we would have more time to play, but you're still as annoying as ever." As he jabbed the silver haired hunter with his witty remarks, an all-new smell flooded his nose.

It was far sweeter than the scent of Yuki's blood. It was aromatic with an overwhelming smell of Rose peddles that were soaked in a fresh rain, as well the smell of lavender and sugar. But just where was that smell coming from? "Wait a minute… Zero, is that scent I'm sensing coming from you?" He asked the vampire hunter, but Zero's silence spoke a thousand words as a blush crossed the hunter's face after being called out. "So, I was right? Holy crap, you smell like a broad! Your pheromones are stronger than any of the other female vampires in our class! Honestly, it's kind of turning me on." He said with a smirk but Zero wasn't having any of it.

"Shut the hell up, pervert. One more smart mouthed remark out of you and I will blow your fucking brains out." He said as he cocked his gun, and Hanabusa was starting to get more nervous by the second. During the distraction, Yuki used that as her chance to escape as she slunk past Akatsuki who too, was enraptured in Zero's pheromones. She rejoined Zero by his side as she hid behind him. But she didn't know what they were talking about. While she stood behind him, she sniffed the back of his jacket, but she didn't know what scent they were talking about. As far as she could tell, he just smelled like regular old Zero.

They were at a standstill with neither side wanting to back down. "Go to your class Hanabusa, Akatsuki. Before things start to really get ugly." The blonde just laughed as ice started to form around his feet. "Nah, I don't think I want to. I was interested in Yuki at first, but now I want to know more about you. It's like your scent is drawing me in… Let me bathe in it just a little bit longer, yeah?" He said as a spike of ice shot out from his feet towards Zero. The hunter reacted quickly as he scooped Yuki up in his arms and jumped away before the ice could reach them, because if it did, they would have been frozen in place.

Akatsuki slapped his hand to his forehead before he sighed. "We're really going to get in trouble now… But I guess I should give you some back up." He said as he conjured up a ball of fire in his hand. Zero was back on top of the roof and he carefully set Yuki down. "Stand back, I don't want to get any of their blood on you." He said with a delicate smile before he turned his attention back to the two vampires down below. He raised bloody rose, with its steal shining in the light of the moon. "I've been waiting to do this since I met you, filthy vampire. Now die!"

He pulled the trigger, and a loud resounding blast rung out in the air. Hanabusa flinched, waiting to get shot, but the pain never came. When he reopened his eyes, Kaname was now standing behind Zero with his hand on the gun. Right when Zero had fired, Kaname had forced his hand up so that he would shoot into the air instead. And Hanabusa was relieved, but at the same time, he was terrified. Because he could sense that horrifying amount of malice coming from his beloved pureblood. "L-Lord Kaname! It isn't what it looks like!" He said as his ice disappeared and he fell to his knees.

Kaname let go of Zero's hand and glared daggers at his subordinates who dare defy his orders and then attacked his precious Yuki of all people. "I am not a fool, Aido. But I will deal with your punishment later… As for you, Mister Kiryu. I would prefer if you didn't shoot my classmates. This gun of yours is lethal to us, after all." He said as he gestured to bloody rose. Zero sucked his teeth before he holstered his weapon back inside his jacket. "Then keep a tighter leash on your pets. Cause I can't promise I won't put them down the next time they try to pull some bullshit like this again." Zero started walking away, as his headache came back with a passion.

He was outside for far too long, and with Kaname being so close to him again, his body was starting to react to the strong pheromones of the pureblood. He became dizzy and started swaying side to side, and almost fell off the roof which made Yuki scream. "ZERO!" She shouted as she ran to grab him, but Kaname beat her to it as he took ahold of his hand. Zero's head flopped backwards, making his hood fall off his head and his sunglasses fell to the floor below and shattered on impact. "It's hard to view you as intimidating when you can't even stand up straight, Kiryu." Said Kaname as she pulled Zero back onto the roof who was sat on his hands and knees.

The hunter shook his head as he gathered his bearings. "Shut up you bastard. Wait, what the?!" Zero said as he started to panic after realizing that his protection was gone. His face was uncovered, and he was now at the mercy of the full moon. "What's the matter Zero?" Said Kaname with a mischievous smirk. The silver haired teen instinctively looked up towards the moon, and he could almost hear it calling to him when the sound of a wolf howling resounded in his head. "N-no… I can't look away." He groaned as he hunched over, and Yuki ran to his side and started rubbing his back.

"Zero! What's wrong?! Tell me where it hurts!" She said to him, but Zero just pushed her back and she landed on her butt. "Y-Yuki! Don't come any closer!" He said in agony as he started to transform. His silver hair started shimmering, almost as if it was glowing. It went from a metallic silver to an almost ethereal color of white. His lilac eyes began to glow and pierce through the night like a beacon. But the most dramatic part of his transformation was the pointy wolf ears that appeared on the top of his head, and the long white fluffy wolf tail that poked out from underneath his school blazer. His fingernails also grew longer and thicker, like the claws of a canine.

Down below, Hanabusa and Akatsuki watched with shock and intrigue when Zero started to transform. "What the hell?! I didn't even know they existed but is Zero a werewolf?!" Exclaimed Hanabusa as he slapped his cheeks, not being able to believe what he just witnessed. "Not quite. Just like how every vampire clan has their own special abilities from your ice to Akatsuki's fire or even to Ruka's mind control, this is a special power that only comes from Zero's clan." Said Kaname matter of factly.

"Zero's clan? But I thought he was a Kiryu! Aren't they just a group of human vampire hunters or something?" Hanabusa asked as he tilted his head in confusion. "They're not just a group of vampire hunters, they were THE vampire hunters. They were the considered the best of the best before they met their ends at the hands of Shizuka Hio. But that's not the clan that you come from, is it Zero?" Kaname said as he knelt in front of him. Zero growled at him before swiping his claw at the purebloods face, but Kaname easily grabbed his hand and squeezed it, making him whimper like an injured pup.

"Shut the hell up you damned pureblood!" Said Zero as he glared icy spears at Kaname, but he only cried out in pain when Kaname started to twist his arm. "Is that really how you talk to a fellow pureblood?" He said with an evil grin that only infuriated Zero even more. Yuki, who was sitting right next to him covered her mouth in shock. "What do you mean by fellow pureblood?" Kaname looked her way, pretending to be surprised. "He never told you? Well then let me be the first to reveal to you our dear Zero's ugly secret." Kaname said as he stood up and grabbed Zero by the collar of his shirt.

"You don't know what the hell you're talking about! Stop talking, before I make you!" Zero growled like a feral beast. "I know a lot more than you think I do. You see, I've been keeping my eye on you, and I noticed a pattern. Once a month on the night of the full moon, you claim to be sick and hide away never to be seen until the morning after. And that got me thinking, so I had Seiren investigate your past. You were orphaned as a child along with your twin brother, and then adopted into the Kiryu Clan. While your brother had human birth records, you did not. That's because you were never a human, were you?"

"You were stolen from your home after the Kiryu's went to cleanse the world of the Hio's, but they couldn't stomach the idea of killing the two infants they found that night. While one twin was born a regular old human, the other twin was born with wolf ears and tail with fur that sparkled like snow. You Zero, were the omega pureblooded child of Shizuka Hio that they found that night. They kept you a secret and raised you as your own and told you to never speak a word of your true heritage. But I know, and now they all do to. You can't fight your destiny anymore, Zero. Embrace who you are as a patriarch and leader of all vampires!"

Hanabusa and Akatsuki couldn't believe what they were hearing, but they knew it must have been true if their pureblooded prince spoke about it. He would have no reason to tell a lie like that, which means they had no choice but to accept it as the truth. They fell on one knee with their heads lowered as they accepted the existence of another pureblood in their school, and even though they hated Zero, it was their culture to not deny that he was above them. "We profess our loyalty to you, Zero Hio." They said in unison.

Zero felt sick to his stomach and was finally able to break away from Kaname's grasp. "N-no… Stop. It's not true. I'm not a… I am not a pureblood!" He said as his ears drooped, and he clutched his hands into his hair. He looked at Yuki who looked to hurt to meet his gaze. "Yuki, you believe me, don't you?" He said as he walked towards her, but she flinched away. "How can I believe you Zero? I know you have your secrets to keep, but why are you still lying to me? Do you not trust me to the point where you can't even admit the truth to me? I thought we were friends. No. I thought we were family!"

Tears started pouring from her eyes as she couldn't contain her emotions anymore. She wasn't crying because he was a pureblood, but she was crying because he had been hiding a secret like that from her after all these years. "It's not you who he is lying to. But Zero who is lying to himself. He just doesn't want to admit the truth, because if he does, then he is admitting that he is the same as me." Kaname said with a smirk, and Zero had about enough of it. By now, the rest of the Night Class started filing out of the school and were now looking at them. He felt exposed and tried to cover his ears with his hands, but he could do nothing about his tail as it wagged.

"Stop looking at me! Everyone just look away!" With his enhanced reflexes, Zero hopped off of the roof and started jumping from tree to tree as he retreated away. Yuki would have tried to stop him, but even she wanted her pace away from him. She felt betrayed, and she knew she shouldn't because this was obviously a big deal to him. He was probably ashamed of who he was and that's why he never told her, but that didn't make it hurt any less. "So, what happens now Lord Kaname?" She said as she turned towards the pureblood prince. "I think it's obvious what happens next. Zero is a pureblood, and he needs to be where he belongs. I will convince Headmaster Cross to enter Zero into the Night Class."
