Dragon Ball: The Adventures of Goku and Gine (Goku x Suno)

This FanFic tells an alternate story in which Goku arrived on Earth as an infant accompanied by his mother Gine, and it's a reboot of Dragon Ball with Goku and Gine as the main characters. As an additional detail, it shows how, thanks to the care and influence of his mother, Goku ended up marrying the beautiful and tender Suno instead of Chi-Chi.

6. The Training Begins

The Training Begins

Goku and Gine had just recently parted ways with their friends Bulma, Oolong, Yamcha, and Puar after having lived an exciting adventure in search of the Dragon Balls. Now, Goku and Gine were happy and sitting on the Flying Nimbus as they flew over the surroundings of Mount Paozu, admiring the places and landscapes near their home.

_ "Look, Mom! It's the first time I've seen the areas near our house from above. It's fascinating," said Goku, happily.

_ Gine smiled and said to her son, "Yes, Goku, it is beautiful. Now, let's head home to change out of these horrible clothes before we go see Master Roshi."

_ Gine was dressed in the sensual and daring bunny outfit that Oolong had given to Bulma, and the last thing she wanted was for the perverted Master Roshi to see her dressed like that.

_ "You're right, Mom. Let's go home first," said Goku.

Then the Flying Nimbus descended towards Goku and Gine's house, which had previously belonged to the late Son Gohan. When Goku and Gine entered their house, they saw that, as expected, the interior was dusty due to the time they had been away, but they felt happy to be home after so long, even though they knew they couldn't stay since they were just passing through. Both Goku and Gine changed their clothes. Goku put on his usual blue gi with a white belt and red wristbands, while Gine put on a gi that was a combination of blue and pink, short and tight black pants, and brown boots. Then Gine packed some changes of clothes and bedding for both herself and her son and placed everything on the Flying Nimbus.

_ Gine smiled and said to her son, "Alright, Goku, I've packed everything we need. Are you ready?"

_"Yes, Mom, but I'm hungry," said Goku, looking a bit sad as his stomach growled.

_ Gine sighed and said, "I suppose I'll have to cook something before we go."

_ Goku then said to Gine, "That won't be necessary, Mom. Maybe Master Roshi will invite us to eat something."

_ Gine replied to her son, "You're right. Well, let's go then."

After that, Goku and Gine climbed onto the Flying Nimbus and flew off, leaving their home in Mount Paozu once again as they headed towards the island where Master Roshi lived. Goku and Gine watched from above as they left behind the forests and landscapes around Mount Paozu and ventured over the sea. The Flying Nimbus descended to fly just a few centimeters above the water, so much so that both Goku and Gine enjoyed the splashes from the sea until they saw a small island with a pink house in the distance that said, "Kame House," which they obviously recognized as Master Roshi's house. Once they arrived at the small island, both Goku and Gine got off the Flying Nimbus with their things and started knocking on the door.

_ "Master! It's me, Goku! My mom and I are here for the training you promised us!" Goku shouted while knocking on the door, but there was no response.

_ "Hmm, that's strange! Could it be that no one's here?" Gine asked, confused, scratching her head. But then they heard a noise coming from inside the house. Goku and Gine noticed that Master Roshi's window was open, so they peeked in to see what the noise was. They saw the perverted Master Roshi lying on the floor, watching a TV program of scantily clad women doing aerobics, saying, "1, 2, 1, 2."

_ "Hehe, that's right, ladies, keep it up! Go, go!" said Master Roshi, happily and blushing.

_ "Typical of that old pervert," Gine said with a look of discomfort and a large sweat drop.

_ Goku and Gine climbed through Master Roshi's window to try to get his attention, but the old Turtle Hermit was completely distracted by his show until Goku shouted in his ear, "MASTER ROSHI!"

The Saiyan child's shout made Master Roshi jump, and then he turned around and saw that it was Goku and Gine.

_ "Oh, it's you, kiddo, and I see you brought your beautiful and sexy mom!" said Master Roshi, making Gine look at him with complete disdain.

_ Goku said to the old Turtle Hermit, "Hello, Master Roshi. Could you please give my mom and me something to eat? We're hungry."

_ "Ah, yes, of course! Go to the kitchen and open the fridge; you'll find everything you need. Help yourselves to whatever you want, now let me watch my favorite show," said Master Roshi, pointing towards his kitchen.

_ "Well, Mom, you heard Master Roshi. Let's go eat," said Goku.

_ "Perfect, let's go!" said Gine, smiling at her son.

Then Goku and Gine went to Master Roshi's kitchen, and Goku was fascinated when he saw a refrigerator for the first time, although Gine already knew what refrigerators were like since Son Gohan had often taken Gine and Goku, when Goku was very small, to see how Earthlings lived. Goku and Gine started eating everything in the refrigerator, and after Master Roshi finished watching his show, he went to the kitchen and was horrified to see that the two Saiyans had left the refrigerator practically empty.

_ "I can't believe it! You two ate everything in the refrigerator? This food was supposed to last me a whole week!" said Master Roshi, perplexed and horrified.

_ "Well, Master Roshi, you said my son and I could help ourselves to whatever we wanted," said Gine, happily blushing while she and her son took the last spoonfuls of a vanilla ice cream tub with chocolate chips.

_ "Well, now that my mom and I have finished our search for the Dragon Balls, we came here for you to teach and train us as you promised, Master Roshi," said Goku with a smile.

_ "Ha! It's not that easy to study and train," said Master Roshi, serving himself a beer.

_ "My mom and I want to become stronger than you, Master," said little Goku.

_ "Hahaha, sure, 'you want to become stronger than me,' but I'm not going to teach you for free. If you want me to teach you, it will be under one condition," said Master Roshi while drinking his beer.

_ "And what condition is that?" asked Gine with a somewhat serious look.

_ "I'll teach you on the condition that Goku brings me a pretty girl to take care of the household chores," said Master Roshi.

_ "WHAT?!" shouted Gine, upset, making Master Roshi scared.

_ "Don't worry, Mom! If that's the case, I'll gladly bring Master Roshi what he asks for," said Goku with a smile.

_ "But Goku..." said Gine, feeling a bit uncomfortable.

_ "But she has to be a really pretty girl, okay? Someone who knows how to do the housework and isn't too old or too young, but very pretty. In other words, someone who looks like your mom, got it, Goku?" said Master Roshi while Gine looked at the Turtle Hermit with disdain.

_ Goku nodded and said, "Yes, Master Roshi! As you say."

_ Gine sighed and said, "Well, I guess there's no other way."

Then Goku got on his Flying Nimbus in search of the "pretty girl" that Master Roshi had requested, while Master Roshi went to his room to put on a formal suit. Meanwhile, Gine, frowning and with her arms crossed, simply leaned against one of the walls of the living room, looking uncomfortably at Master Roshi putting on music on a radio and starting to dance in a ridiculous manner. He then placed a bucket of ice with a bottle of champagne and two glasses on the center table in the living room.

_ "Don't you feel ashamed of using my son for your dirty, perverted tasks?" asked Gine, upset.

_ Master Roshi, blushing completely and with a perverted expression, said, "Ah, don't be jealous, Gine. I also like young and beautiful, sexy moms like you, haha."

_ Gine, completely furious, responded by kicking Master Roshi in the face, saying, "Dirty old pervert."

_ "Ouch! Can't you take a joke?" asked Master Roshi while putting on new glasses.

_ Then they heard Goku's voice saying, "Master, I'm back. I brought the girl you asked for."

_ Both Gine and Master Roshi went outside and saw that Goku had brought an enormous woman dressed in pink tights with two ponytails, saying, "How can I help you?" making Master Roshi scared while Gine laughed out loud. Goku had to return the woman to where he found her, but not before receiving the proper apologies from both Gine and Master Roshi.

_ Master Roshi said to Goku, "You didn't understand anything I said, did you?" Then Master Roshi took out two photographs. One was of a pretty woman, and the other was of a woman who wasn't very attractive. Master Roshi then said to Goku, "Alright, Goku, tell me... which of these two girls do you think is pretty?"

_ "Hmm, well, I don't know, I don't see much difference," said Goku.

_"Hahahaha, Master Roshi, my son is very innocent and he doesn't understand these things," said Gine, laughing heartily.

_Master Roshi sighed and said, "Look, I want you to bring me a girl like this, and if it helps, I want her to be a girl as pretty as your mom, got it?" while pointing to the picture of the pretty girl.

_"I understand, master. Alright, I'll bring you another girl," said Goku as he flew away on his flying nimbus. After a while, Goku returned with another girl and said, "Master, I brought you the pretty girl you asked for."

_Master Roshi said to Gine, "I hope this time your son has brought a nice girl." Then Master Roshi came out and blushed upon seeing a beautiful girl with purple hair and a red shirt on Goku's flying nimbus. Master Roshi said, "Wow, Gine! It seems your son did things right this time."

_The girl asked Goku, "Hey kid, what is this place?"

_Master Roshi called Goku, and Goku said, "Master, look, I brought you a pretty girl like you asked."

_"Very well, boy. Now I think I can give both you and your mom the lessons I promised," said Master Roshi.

_"Great!" shouted Goku with excitement.

_"Now Goku, go and tell that girl to give you her panties," said Master Roshi.

_Gine, furious, said to Master Roshi, "What did you say?"

_Master Roshi, nervous, swallowed and said to Goku, "Panties? Sorry, I meant to ask her to bring you her slippers. That will be your first lesson."

_"But master, that lady isn't wearing anything under her shirt," said Goku, surprising Master Roshi, who started bleeding from his nose.

_"What?!" exclaimed Gine, astonished.

_Then Master Roshi approached the girl on the Flying Nimbus, but as he got closer, Master Roshi fell backward upon seeing that the girl had a fish body instead of legs.

_"It's a mermaid! I'm dreaming," said Master Roshi, blushing while the mermaid looked at him, confused.

_"What do you want from me?" asked the young mermaid.

_Perverted Master Roshi asked the mermaid, "Hey, beautiful, may I touch your breasts?"

_Then the furious mermaid slapped the perverted Master Roshi with her fin, breaking his glasses, and then returned to the sea while Gine laughed heartily at the scene, thinking to herself, "It seems this isn't so bad after all."

_"Master Roshi, can you tell me why you got hit?" asked Goku with a smile.

_"Well, you see, enduring hits is the best way to learn to be strong. Listen, Goku, I want you to fulfill my request this time, but I don't want you to bring another mermaid. And you, Gine, I want you to accompany your son to ensure he does it right this time," said Master Roshi.

_"Who? Me?" asked Gine, confused.

_"Yes, Gine, and believe it or not, this will be part of your training," said Master Roshi, thinking to himself, "And it's good that turtle isn't here to bother," referring to the sea turtle who constantly scolded him for his perverted behavior.

But then Goku, Gine, and Master Roshi noticed from afar that a boat was slowly approaching.

_"What's that?" asked Goku.

_"It looks like someone is approaching in a boat, and I think it's a child," said Gine, watching the boat closely.

The child approaching in the boat was a bald child with six dots on his forehead, wearing a yellow oriental monk outfit. When the child was several meters from Master Roshi's island, he jumped confidently towards the island but ended up crashing headfirst into the sand, burying his head in the sand as he tried to get out.

_"Oh dear! Are you alright, little one?" said Gine, helping the child out of the sand.

_"Thank you very much, miss," said the small monk child.

_Gine, smiling, said to the child, "You're welcome, little one."

Then the monk child addressed Master Roshi, asking, "Excuse me, are you the great Master Roshi?"

_"Yes, I am. What can I do for you?" responded Master Roshi.

_"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Krillin, and I come from the Shaolin Monastery located in East City. I came to learn everything you know about martial arts," said the young Krillin.

_"Well, unfortunately, I can't take just anyone as my student, Krillin," said Master Roshi in a serious tone. But Krillin, with a sly smile, opened his bag and handed Master Roshi a pornographic magazine, which Master Roshi gladly accepted, much to Gine's horrified surprise that a child would carry such a magazine.

_"Well, Krillin, to be my student, you'll have to do a task for me," said Master Roshi.

_"And what task is that, Master Roshi?" asked Krillin.

_"You'll have to find a pretty girl for me in the company of that boy and his mother," said Master Roshi, pointing to Goku and Gine.

_"Hello! Nice to meet you, I'm Goku and this is my mom," said Goku with a smile.

_"Hi Krillin, my name is Gine. I hope you and I get along well," said the young Saiyan mother with a smile.

_"Do you guys practice martial arts?" asked Krillin, seriously.

_"Of course. Both my mom and I are very strong," said Goku with a smile.

_"Don't be arrogant," said Krillin.

_"Hahaha, hey, why don't you have hair?" asked Goku, laughing.

_Krillin, annoyed, replied, "Idiot! I don't have hair because martial artists always shave their heads. Just look at Master Roshi."

_"I don't have hair simply because I'm bald," replied Master Roshi while looking at the pornographic magazine Krillin had given him. Then Master Roshi said to Krillin, "Well, Krillin, now go with Goku and Gine to find me that pretty girl so I can train you."

_"Alright, master," said Krillin.

_"Come on, Krillin! Get on my Flying Nimbus," said Goku, sitting on his flying nimbus.

_"Do I have to get on that? Alright," said Krillin, trying to get on the Flying Nimbus, but when he did, Krillin ended up falling through the Flying Nimbus and into the sand. Krillin, astonished, asked, "What happened? Why couldn't I get on the Flying Nimbus?"

_Master Roshi, serious, said to Krillin, "It's simple. Only people pure of heart can ride the Flying Nimbus, which means you came here to learn martial arts with bad intentions."

_"No master! I swear! I came here to learn martial arts because I want to be strong so that girls will notice me," said Krillin, scared.

_"Those are bad intentions for wanting to learn martial arts," replied Master Roshi.

_"Look who's talking," replied Gine, seriously.

_Master Roshi, annoyed, said, "Silence, Gine! Remember, I am the master here." Then, seriously, Master Roshi said to Krillin, "I'm afraid I can't train you."

_Gine, serious, said, "Don't you think you're exaggerating, Master Roshi? Look, you can't ride the Flying Nimbus either because you're an old pervert."

_"That's different, Gine! And don't question your master!" replied Master Roshi.

_"Come on, master, don't be like that! Look, you'll like this," said Krillin, opening his bag and giving Master Roshi a bunch of pornographic magazines, which Master Roshi gladly accepted and began flipping through one by one.

_Gine, seriously, said to Krillin, "Hey Krillin, you know it's not right for you to carry those magazines, especially as a child? Now you see why you couldn't ride the Flying Nimbus? I'm telling you this because my son and I didn't need to resort to that to get Master Roshi to train us. We simply showed him our martial arts talents, and you should do the same."

_"Well..." said Krillin, a bit nervous.

_"Alright, enough talk, go find me that pretty girl so I can train you," said Master Roshi.

Then Gine helped Krillin get on the Flying Nimbus, and Krillin held onto Goku's back to stay on the Flying Nimbus while Gine flew beside them on her own.

_Krillin was amazed to see Gine flying and said to Goku, "Wow! Incredible, Goku! Your mom can fly!"

_"Yes! Isn't it fantastic?" said Goku with a smile.

_"Well, yes... It's incredible. Mrs. Gine, how can you fly?" asked Krillin, amazed.

_"With a lot of practice and training," said Gine with a warm smile at the young monk, causing Krillin to blush slightly.

_Goku, Gine, and Krillin flew for hours, and as they flew over a desert, they heard a girl screaming for help. They went to see where the scream came from and saw a beautiful girl with long blue hair, wearing a short green shirt with suspenders that showed her navel, yellow shorts, green stockings, and red sneakers. She was kneeling on the ground, surrounded by a group of policemen shouting, "Stay still, Launch! You're under arrest for your crimes!"

_"That girl needs help! We must help her, mom!" said Goku.

"Are you crazy? Those people surrounding the girl are policemen," said Krillin.

But Goku and Gine didn't listen to Krillin and knocked out all the policemen with ease, saving Launch in the process.

_"Thank you so much, friends! You have no idea how grateful I am," said Launch.

_"Hey Mom, Krillin, do you think this girl will please Master Roshi?" asked Goku.

_Gine and Krillin, carefully examining Launch, realized she was indeed a pretty girl. Gine thought to herself, "She's definitely pretty, but I'll have to keep an eye on her so that old pervert doesn't try anything."

Then Goku got on his Flying Nimbus with Krillin and Launch, and they flew back to Kame House with Gine flying alongside them on her own.

_"I didn't introduce myself earlier. My name is Launch. And you all are?" asked Launch with a smile. Goku, Gine, and Krillin introduced themselves. "It's a pleasure to meet you all. By the way, where are we going?" asked Launch.

_"We're going to Master Roshi's house," said Goku with a smile.

When they arrived, they landed on Master Roshi's island. Launch was fascinated by the beauty of the island and Master Roshi's house.

_"Master Roshi, we're here! We brought the girl you asked for," said Goku, but there was no response. Goku then asked, "That's strange. Where did he go?"

_"He probably went to the bathroom," said Krillin.

_"Oh, well! In that case, we'll wait," said Goku.

_"I'm glad Goku has learned about the importance of bathroom privacy," thought Gine.

_Launch, confused, asked, "So what do I have to do here?"

_Krillin responded, "Nothing, we just want you to stay with us for a while because it would be nice to have another woman in our group. The only woman here is Gine, who is Goku's mom."

_"That sounds perfect, especially since I'm running away from the police," said Launch.

_"And why are you running from the police?" asked Gine.

_"Well, apparently, I robbed a bank and a train," said Launch, looking at the money she was carrying.

_"You don't seem like someone capable of doing that," said Gine.

Just then, Master Roshi came out of his house and saw Launch. "Excellent, you finally did it right. Now you three are officially my students," said Master Roshi, making Goku, Gine, and Krillin jump with joy.

_Launch, with a smile, said to Master Roshi, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Master Roshi. My name is Launch. Your students are very brave; they saved me."

_"I'm glad to hear that because I'm training them in martial arts," said Master Roshi.

_"Oh! That's fascinating, no wonder they're so strong," said Launch with excitement.

_Gine, with a serious expression and arms crossed, said to Master Roshi, "But you haven't trained us yet."

_"That's true," said Goku.

_Master Roshi, annoyed, said to the two Saiyans, "Silence, you two! You must not question your master. By the way, Launch, would you like to live here? You could be my student."

_Launch responded, "Here? I think it would be great to live here, but I don't think I can be your student because martial arts aren't really my thing."

_Krillin said to Launch, "You're very lucky because Master Roshi is the best martial arts teacher in the world, and he's asking you to study with him."

_"Nah, it's not that big of a deal," said Master Roshi, blushing.

_"I didn't know you were so famous," said Launch with a big smile.

_Master Roshi whispered to Krillin, "Well done, Krillin."

_"Can we start now?" asked Gine.

Then Master Roshi ran into his house and brought out five boxes, giving four to Goku, Gine, Krillin, and Launch.

_"Alright, we'll start our training using these," said Master Roshi.

_"This is a joke, right?" asked Gine, blushing and frowning slightly after seeing what was in the box.

_"I don't want to wear this," said Goku.

_"Don't complain and just put it on," said Master Roshi.

After a while, Goku, Gine, Krillin, Launch, and Master Roshi were all wearing a one-piece blue lingerie outfit with pink borders.

_Gine, blushing and frowning, commented, "This is humiliating."

_"How do I look? This seems like underwear," said Launch.

_Master Roshi responded, "Well, it's not, because it's the uniform all my students wear," causing Launch to fall comically backward.

_Master Roshi lustfully looked at both Gine and Launch and then said, "Well, it's time to start."

But then a bee flew near Launch's nose, causing her to sneeze. To everyone's surprise, Launch's hair changed from blue to blonde, and her face went from reflecting sweetness and kindness to showing rudeness and aggressiveness.

_"But what happened to Launch?" asked Gine, astonished.

_"Where am I? At least it's not prison. And what do you want from me?" said Launch, pulling out a machine gun and starting to shoot at Goku, Krillin, and Master Roshi. But Gine stepped in between them, easily catching the bullets, mostly to protect her son. As Launch kept shooting, she sneezed again and realized what had happened. Launch, with a smile, said, "Oh right! I forgot to mention that every time I sneeze, my personality changes radically to one where I become aggressive. Tell me, did I hurt anyone?"

_Gine responded, "Don't worry, Launch. Fortunately, I was here to prevent your shots from hurting anyone."

From then on, everyone decided to take precautions with Launch. The next day, Master Roshi decided to take everyone to a large island with a population of 300 people to start the training of his three students. He stored his house in a Hoi-Poi capsule, and when they arrived at the island, both Goku and Gine began exploring the island from the sky, amazed by its size. Then Master Roshi set up his house on a nearby beach and gathered his students to test their speed.

_Goku, happy and excited, said, "Great! We're finally starting the training."

_"Master, a question. Am I also going to train with you?" asked Launch.

_Master Roshi responded, "Well, if you want, you can."

_"Well then, I'll go cook," said Launch.

But at that moment, Launch seemed about to sneeze, causing Goku, Krillin, and Master Roshi to hide behind a rock while Gine assumed a defensive stance to control Launch. Fortunately, it was just a slight yawn.

_"That was a scare," said Krillin.

_Master Roshi, annoyed, said to his student, "Don't be silly, boy! You'll never be a man if you get scared by such insignificant things."

_Gine retorted to Master Roshi, "But you also got scared and hid."

_Master Roshi responded, "Silence, Gine! Don't question your master. Now, let's see. We'll start with a speed test. Look, there's a 100-meter distance between that rock and that tree. How fast do you think you can run that distance? That's what we're going to see now."

_Krillin, full of confidence, was the first to run the 100 meters and did it in 10 seconds, confident that no one could ever match or surpass him. Then it was Goku's turn, who ran the 100 meters in 11 seconds.

_Krillin, with a proud smile, boasted, "I knew no one could beat my speed."

_"Hey, master, can I try again with different shoes?" asked Goku.

_"What are you talking about, Goku? My shoes are no different from yours," replied Krillin.

_"Yes, but mine are broken," said Goku, showing his broken shoes.

_"Oh! I see," said Krillin, somewhat astonished.

Master Roshi agreed to Goku's request, and Goku went to his mom to get his spare shoes. Gine then started mending her son's broken shoes. Goku repeated the speed test and ran the 100 meters in 8.5 seconds, breaking Krillin's record and leaving the small monk in shock.

_"Tell me, Goku, how did you learn to run like that?" asked Krillin, amazed.

_Goku responded, "My mom and I always train by running up and down mountains."

_Master Roshi said to Gine, "Alright, Gine, it's your turn."

_Gine nodded and thought to herself, "I could easily surpass Master Roshi's speed and these kids, but I'll use only a part of my power to train alongside my son." Then Gine ran the 100 meters in exactly 7 seconds, leaving Krillin in shock while Goku was happy for his mom.

_"Not bad, but you're still at a human level, and to master martial arts, you must be perfect. Now it's my turn," said Master Roshi while throwing his heavy turtle shell onto a rock, completely smashing it. Master Roshi then said to Krillin, "Alright, Krillin, I want you to time me," handing his stopwatch to Krillin. To everyone's astonishment, Master Roshi ran the 100 meters in 5.6 seconds.

_Gine thought to herself, "Not bad! Though I could easily surpass Master Roshi's speed."

_Master Roshi said to Goku, "Alright, Goku, I need you to bring me some sake."

_Goku asked, "What's sake?"

_Krillin responded, "I'll go get the sake, master," then Krillin ran to Kame House.

_Master Roshi, serious, said to Gine, "Gine, it seems you haven't given your son a good basic academic education."

_Gine, embarrassed, replied, "I know, Master Roshi. The thing is, my dad Gohan barely taught Goku to read and write, and my dad Gohan didn't leave me and Goku a big inheritance. He never taught us a trade in which Goku and I could work, so I never had the money and resources needed to give my son a proper academic education."

_Master Roshi responded, "Don't worry, because Goku will receive an academic education as part of his training."

_Gine replied, "Thank you very much, Master Roshi."

But then they heard a scream coming from Kame House, which was Krillin's. He came out pursued by Launch, who was wielding a knife, trying to harm the boy because Launch had sneezed again, changing to her aggressive personality. Gine intervened and grabbed Launch's hand, making her drop the knife.

_Launch, annoyed, said to Gine, "Let go of me, you bitch."

_Gine, serious, said to Launch, "You better calm down, Launch! I'm not going to let you hurt anyone, especially not a child."

Then Launch sneezed again, returning to her kind and peaceful personality.

_Launch, seeing she was outside Kame House, worriedly asked, "What happened? Don't tell me I hurt someone."

_Gine sighed and said, "Don't worry."

_Launch responded, "Thank goodness! I'll go back inside to continue cooking."

_Gine then looked at Krillin, who was still scared to the point of wetting his pants, and asked, "Are you alright, Krillin?"

_The 3 students started swimming, and Goku, with a smile, said to Gine, "Hey Mom, this feels good, it's like taking a bath, don't you think?"

_Gine, with a smile, said to her son, "Nice try, Goku, but you'll still have a bath before going to bed, got it?"

_Goku pouted and replied, "Yes, Mom."

_Master Roshi told his students, "Watch out for the Shark!"

_Krillin asked, "What did he say?!"

Then a huge Shark appeared, causing Goku, Gine, and Krillin to scream in fear and swim hastily to the other shore. However, when they reached the other shore, they saw a Tyrannosaurus Rex, and then the three students started running.

_Master Roshi told his 3 students, "Remember, you have to swim!"

Later, Goku, Gine, and Krillin jumped back into the water, being chased by the shark again and then by the Tyrannosaurus Rex until they finished their swimming practice, completely exhausted. Afterward, the 3 students put back on their clothes. Gine felt relieved not to have to wear the daring bikini given by the perverted Master Roshi. For the next training, Master Roshi tied his 3 students to a tree.

_Master Roshi told his students, "Alright, your next training will involve escaping from some bees."

_"What?!" the 3 students exclaimed simultaneously.

Then Master Roshi hit a beehive with his staff, and several enraged bees emerged from the hive, chasing Goku, Gine, and Krillin who began running, waving their arms to fend off the bees. By the end of the day, both Goku, Gine, and Krillin were covered in bee stings, tears in their eyes, and groaning in pain.

_Gine, with tears in her eyes and groaning in pain, asked Master Roshi, "Are these the training sessions going to be like this every day for the next 8 months?"

_Master Roshi pulled out large Turtle shells and told his 3 students, "Yes, and starting tomorrow, you will have to wear these heavy Turtle shells to further increase your strength and endurance."

Then both Goku, Gine, and Krillin collapsed unconscious.

One week later

It was a beautiful clear night, and the stars were shining. Goku, Krillin, and Launch were sleeping, while Gine had decided to go out to meditate by the sea. The only sound was the strong noise of the sea waves until suddenly Gine felt someone watching her from behind. Gine turned around and saw that it was Master Roshi.

_Master Roshi asked his student, "Can't you sleep?"

_Gine replied, "It's not that, Master Roshi. I just wanted some time alone to meditate."

_Master Roshi responded, "I understand. Gine, can I ask you a question?"

_Gine replied, "As long as it's not one of your disgusting indecent proposals, go ahead."

_Master Roshi with a smile said, "Don't worry, I just want to know if you and Goku are not human."

_Gine, astonished, asked, "What makes you think that?"

_Master Roshi chuckled and replied, "Well, I've been observing both you and Goku, the great progress you are making in the training I'm giving you, and I've realized that you have a strength and power that are far above the average human. Not even I, who am the best and greatest Martial Arts Master in the world, could have achieved the progress that you and Goku are having in my youth. Also, Gohan told me that several years ago he found you and Goku near a spaceship."

_Gine, feeling nervous, replied, "Um... Well..."

_Master Roshi with a smile said, "You don't have to lie to me, Gine. I'm quite observant, and I know when someone is trying to hide something from me."

_Gine replied, "Promise me you won't tell anyone."

_Master Roshi told his student, "Don't worry, Gine, your secret is safe with me. There's just one thing I don't understand."

_Gine asked, "And what is it?"

_Master Roshi replied, "Why are you holding back your strength with the training I'm giving you? I can see that you are very strong and powerful, so you are ready for a much higher level of training than Goku and Krillin are receiving."

_Gine with a smile said, "I see you are very observant, Master Roshi. The thing is, I am holding back my strength because you are a wise Martial Arts Master, and I can learn a lot from you, even though it's a shame you're an old pervert."

_Master Roshi, feeling embarrassed and blushing, said, "Haha, well, thank you, Gine."

_Gine replied, "And I also train with Goku because I enjoy spending time with my son and because I want to make sure Goku becomes strong."

_Master Roshi with a smile said, "I understand, I'm glad to know that, Gine." Then Master Roshi started to gaze at the stars and said, "So there really is life on other planets."

8 months later

Goku, Gine, and Krillin unknowingly kept getting stronger. Gine and Launch developed a great friendship, and Gine learned not only cooking from Launch but also how to handle Earth's technology like the Internet, social media, and various electronic devices like smartphones, computers, and all the different household gadgets of Earthlings' daily use. Gine also formed a great bond with Launch's tough personality. On the last day of training, Goku, Gine, and Krillin went to find Master Roshi.

_Goku, excitedly said to his Master, "Master Roshi, look, we can now move that big rock."

_Gine, equally excited, replied, "That's right."

They then took Master Roshi to the big rock, and he was surprised to see how all 3 students were able to move it.

_Goku, excitedly asked Master Roshi, "Will you teach us to fight now, Master Roshi?"

_Master Roshi replied, "The rock-moving was a joke, and there's hardly anything more I can teach you about Martial Arts."

_"What?" the 3 students exclaimed.

_Master Roshi told his 3 students, "All the basic martial arts techniques I can teach you are contained in the instructions and teachings you have received over the last 8 months. Now you are ready to enter the Supreme Martial Arts Tournament."

_Gine, amazed, said to Master Roshi, "Incredible. I never imagined that delivering milk and all the other tasks you had us do during these 8 months were actually the martial arts techniques you were going to teach us."

_Master Roshi told his 3 students, "You can see it for yourselves by taking off your heavy Turtle shells and starting to jump."

After Goku, Gine, and Krillin removed their heavy Turtle shells, they felt much lighter and began to jump. To the joy of the 3 students, they were able to make immense jumps several meters high.

_Goku, with a big smile, said to Gine, "How exciting! We are lighter and stronger than before, Mom."

_Gine, equally excited, said to her son, "That's right, Goku!"

_Master Roshi told his 3 students, "Come here, the 3 of you. Launch and I have a surprise for you."

_Launch came with 2 boxes which she opened with a big smile, saying, "Surprise!"

Inside the boxes were 2 formal black suits with hats for Goku and Krillin, and the 2 boys were happy to receive their suits and then put them on.

_Launch, happy and blushing, asked both boys, "Do you like them?"

_Goku commented, "They're great. You look good, Krillin."

_Krillin, equally happy, said, "You too, Goku."

Then both Goku and Krillin said at the same time, "Thank you, Launch."

_Launch replied, "You're welcome, boys."

_Gine, happy and blushing, said to Goku and Krillin, "Awww, you both look handsome and cute."

_Launch handed a box to Gine, saying, "Here, Gine, this is a gift I made for you."

_Gine received the box, asking, "For me?" Gine opened the box, and she was overjoyed to see a beautiful and elegant black dress inside. Gine, happy and blushing, hugged Launch, saying, "It's a very beautiful dress! Thank you so much, Launch!"

_Launch, equally happy and blushing, returned the hug, saying, "You're welcome, Gine. I'm glad you liked it."

As the evening approached, it was time for Goku, Gine, Krillin, and Master Roshi to head to Papaya Island where the World Martial Arts Tournament would take place. The 3 students were dressed in their respective formal suits given by Launch. Master Roshi was outside dressed in a formal suit, waiting with a taxi, and he told his 3 students, "Hurry up, we have to take the plane to go to Papaya Island, where the World Martial Arts Tournament will be held."

_Gine hugged Launch, saying, "Goodbye, Launch, thank you for everything."

_Launch reciprocated the hug from Gine, saying, "Goodbye, Gine, good luck in the Tournament."

_Both Goku and Krillin bid farewell, saying, "Goodbye, Launch!"

_Launch said goodbye to both children, saying, "Goodbye, kids, take care and good luck in the Tournament."

Then Goku, Gine, Krillin, and Master Roshi got into the taxi that took them to the airport, and once there, they boarded the plane that would take them to Papaya Island where the World Martial Arts Tournament would be held.
