Episode 2- Not Very Happy Campers pt.2

Authors Note

Ok so the second episode is here! I have been really looking forward to showing glimpses of how the campers will work together, and kind of introducing some rivalries and friendships during this challenge, while trying to keep everyone in character. I will also be answering reviewers in the section below, so be on the lookout for your name and my response.

Reviewers:

CMC: Glad you're expecting big things! As for what will be different with having the first three generations mixed around in Island, you'll have to stick around and see what happens :)

: If you mean does Mike have his Mal personality, he does. However, I will be using him much more effectively than the show did.

Onto Chapter 2! I hope you all enjoy it!

(Start Episode)

The episode opens with Chris standing at the boat dock where he began last episode. "Last time on Total Drama Island," the camera flashes to show the 22 campers sitting in front of Chris, "22 unsuspecting campers made their way to Camp Wawanakwa, where they will spend eight weeks competing in challenges for a shot at one-hundred thousand dollars!"

The shot flashes to show the campers moving into their cabins and eating the lunch Chef made for them. "It's our first challenge dudette, I doubt they'll make us do anything too crazy." The camera then quickly zooms out to show the island's massive cliff.

"Oh, shit."

XXXX
(Opening theme)

{The shot starts with several different cameras popping into the screen, pushing wildlife out of the way in doing so, and a clapperboard slams down, starting a flyby shot which starts at the dock, moves past the cabin, and past Chris sitting in a directors chair}

Dear Mom and Dad im doing fine

{The camera flies up the cliff and two rings are shown in the water below}

You guys are on my mind

{The camera flies down into the water below and we see Ezekiel swimming underwater. He spots a shark and screams while trying to swim away.}

You asked me what I wanted to be

And now i think the answer is plain to see

{We see a fish hook come up and grab Ezekiel by the swim trunks and pull him up. B is seen tinkering with a fishing rod and a motor tied to a canoe when the motor breaks and the pole snaps, flying into the sky.}

I wanna be famous!

{The pole comes back down into the woods where Ella is seen singing with all sorts of woodland creatures smiling at her singing. The pole hits her in the head and she falls over. The shot zooms out a bit and we see Sugar laughing, and then we see Jasmine giving her a deep frown.}

I wanna live close to the sun

{We see Geoff and Heather arguing in a yellow raft heading near the edge of a waterfall. They notice too late and scream as they fall down.}

Well pack your bags cause i've already won

{We see Dawn meditating in the lotus position, opening her eyes and looking backwards just as Geoff and Heather pass by. As she peers over the edge Dave can be seen running away from a swarm of bees. He trips over Dawn and rolls off the left side of the camera.}

Everything to prove nothing in my way

{Dave rolls into the outhouse and hits it with enough force to make Amy fly out. The camera moves over to the dining hall, where Chef can be seen through the window.}

I'll get there one day

{The camera goes through the window showing a smirking Chef with his hand deep in a pot of some green sludge. He looks back at Duncan and Eva who both give each other a worried look.

Cause I wanna be famous!

{The camera pans over to show Jo and Brick arm wrestling. Jo stomps on Brick's foot hard enough to make him break concentration, and she slams his hand down and jumps up in victory. The camera zooms out to show a very sad looking Sadie, with Courtney sitting next to her with an arm around her. Then they both look up and start to swoon.}

(nananananana-nanananana-nanananana)

{Justin is seen bare chested holding a mirror in each hand, looking at himself and winking.}

I wanna be I wanna be I wanna be famous (nananananana-nanananana-nanananana)

{The camera moves to the dock and Tyler can be seen trying to do a backflip, with Lindsay watching him holding orange pom poms. Tyler lands on his face and Lindsay throws her Pom poms in the air and cheers.}

I wanna be I wanna be I wanna be famous (nananananana-nanananana-nanananana)

{The pom poms stop in front of the sun and fall down as it quickly turns to night, panning down to show Mike and Zoey holding hands by a campfire. Zoey leans in to kiss Mike when suddenly, Mike gasps, closes one eye, and hunches over. Zoey stops and looks at Mike strangely as the shot zooms out to show the rest of the cast sitting around the fire and whistling the last few notes of the tune, as Chris watches from the back.}

XXXX

The camera fades into a shot of the cliff, then quickly transitions to show the Screaming Gophers all peering over the edge. "Ok, today's challenge has three parts." Chris says as the camera pans over showing the Killer Bass team watching nervously from farther back. "Your first task is to jump off this one-thousand foot cliff, into the lake." Chris says smiling at the campers.

"Hah! That's nothing for a triathlete like me!" Jo says confidently to a smiling Sugar. "If you look down," the host continues, "you will see two target areas." Jo and Sugar peer over the edge and see two rings. One ring was massive and was almost impossible not to jump into, and the other was maybe twelve feet wide and would be near impossible to jump into.

"The wider area represents the part of the lake that we have stocked with psychotic," the host laughs as the sharks are shown jumping out of the water, "man eating sharks!" The camera cuts back to show Duncan looking down the cliff and grinning widely.

"Inside that area is a safe zone which, we're pretty sure is shark free." Chris voices over as Dave's nervous face is shown as well as Tyler, Dawn and Lindsay looking down nervously. "Pretty sure?" Jasmine says with a questioning look.

"For each member of your team that jumps and actually...survives," Chris says while still smiling, "there will be a crate of supplies waiting down below." The camera quickly pans down to the beachfront by the lake, showing about sixteen wooden crates waiting to be moved. "Inside these crates are supplies that you'll need for the second part of the challenge. Building… a hot tub." The camera zooms in on the wood and then quickly zooms out as game show music begins to play and a fully built hot tub is shown.

"The team that builds the best one gets to have a wicked hot tub party...tonight!" Chris says pointing directly at the camera. "The losers, will be sending someone home tonight." The camera cuts to luggage laying on the dock with a sunset in the background. The suitcase opens and two yellow eyes poke out and a creepy laugh can be faintly heard. "Let's see…" Chris says while looking at both teams. "Screaming Gophers, you're up first."

"Oh wow that's...pretty far." Geoff says as he peers over the edge again. Anyone wanna like, volunteer?" The camera pans over and crickets can be heard as no one speaks up. The camera pans over more and shows the Bass watching the Gophers in anticipation. "Don't worry guys, I'm sure it's perfectly safe. I mean I hear they have to make interns test all the stunts to see if it's even possible." Zoey says to the rest of her team.

Harp music plays as a flashback starts. Chris and Chef are shown standing near the edge of the cliff, with Chef in purple swim trunks and an orange floatie. "We need to test the stunts first, you know that." Chris says while standing behind Chef. "Do I look like an intern to you?" Chef asks angrily. "No...but the ones we had are all in the hospital." Chris says matter-of-factly. "Come on just jump it you big chicken! Bawk bawk bawk bawk!" Chris finishes while flapping his arms like a chicken. " I don't get paid enough for this man." Chef grunts as he puts some pink goggles on.

Chef jumps off the cliff and screams on his way down until he hits the water, outside the safe zone. "Hey, I made it! I made it man!" Suddenly the camera switches to an underwater view, and it moves closer to Chefs dangling legs.

"Something just brushed my foot!" Chef shouts while looking around wildly. Behind him a shark fin rises out of the water. "Hey Chris man, something ain't right down here!" Suddenly Chef is dragged underwater by an unknown source. "AHHHHHHHHH!" Chef surfaces and cartoon runs all the way back to shore just as a shark tries to bite him. The shot cuts back to Chris writing something on a clipboard. "Well...that seems safe enough."

(End Flashback)

"Does anyone really want to go first?" Jasmine says while looking back at her team. "Ladies first." Duncan replies. "Fine. If I can jump something half this height in the wild, I can do it now." She jumps off the cliff and the camera follows her down as she stays close to the cliff. The camera then cuts to the smaller ring surrounded by metal buoys, where Jasmine easily lands. She surfaces as a tugboat arrives to pick her up, and she waves back up to her teammates who cheer. "Wow she actually made it!" Duncan grins while peering over the edge.

"Yeah that was extreme!" Tyler yelled in agreement. "Let's go guys!" Tyler takes a couple steps back, sprints towards the edge…and trips over a bulging rock. Tyler screams as he rolls over the edge, not knowing what he'll hit or where he'll land on his way down.

The camera follows him down the cliffside as Tyler falls, and he yells in terror. Just before landing however, the breeze blows Tyler towards one of the metal buoys and he smashes into it with a massive clang. "Owwwwwwwwwww!" Tyler groans in pain as we cut to a concerned looking Jasmine watching Tyler slide off the buoy into the safe zone.

The camera cuts back to the falling shot, showing several more Gophers following behind Tyler. Geoff can be seen waving his cowboy hat on the way down, Lindsay flailing her arms not far behind, and Dawn falling in the lotus position. Duncan is the last one seen jumping, and he doesn't make a sound as he falls towards the lake. A splash is heard and the shot cuts back up to the top, where Courtney, Ella and the other Gophers still stood.

"Excuse me, Chris? I won't be jumping. I'm not gonna risk falling into the shark zone." the rule follower tells Chris while walking towards him. "That's fine Courtney, you don't have to jump." Chris tells her while clearly trying to hide a grin. "Unfortunately that also makes you a chicken! So, you'll have to wear this for the rest of the day." Chris grins after putting a rubber chicken hat on Courtney's head. "Bawk bawk bawk! The loser's path down is that way." Chris mocks while imitating a chicken.

"I'll take the risk. I don't think all eleven players will jump from the other team." Courtney retorts while pointing at the other team. "Alright then, but if you do lose, your team will hate you and you'll probably be voted off first." Chris calls to her as she rides down an escalator built into the cliff. "Alright, next!"

"Jump with me?" Justin asks Ella as he flirtatiously grabs her hand. "Oh why thank you very much. I'd love to!" Ella responds blushing while holding a hand to her mouth. They both step towards the cliff and Justin jumps off and into a swan dive. Ella jumps not too far behind and sings jubilantly on her way towards the water.

The shot changes back to the water as they both land, very far outside the ring. The sharks take notice, and quickly move to eat the two teens. But just as they surfaced, they noticed Ella humming an enchanting tune, and they were drawn to the beautiful boy floating next to her. Immediately, they fell head over heels for the two and helped carry them to shore instead of eating them. "Show offs." Duncan scoffed as they walked towards the rest of their team.

"There's no way that I'm doing this, I could get my hair wet on national TV." Heather says shown to be close to the edge. B is standing next to her and giving her a pleading look while motioning to jump off. "Are you trying to say something? Why don't you actually use your words, you oversized lump." B gets an angry look on his face, then smirks. He taps Heather on the shoulder, then moves quickly to the other side, puts his leg out and pushes her, causing her to fall over the edge.

"AHHHHHHHH!" Heather screams while flailing as she falls closer and closer to the water. She lands inside the ring with a splash, and comes up spewing water. "Ugh, B! You're so dead when you get down here!" B smiles and shrugs in reply. But as he got to the edge and really started to see how far he'd have to drop, he gained a nervous look on his face. "Come on man you got this!" Tyler yelled up to the inventive boy. "Believe in yourself!" Dawn pitched in.

"I'm looking at this guy and thinking, there's no way he's gonna make it." Geoff says in the confessional.

(static)

"I figured if he jumps, he's going to die!" Courtney says while throwing her hands up.

B, who is wearing several floaties, again looks over the edge while biting his fingernails. He moves back from the edge, and drops his shoulders in shame as he starts to walk towards the escalator, before stopping and turning back around with a determined look on his face. He takes a very deep breath, and runs towards the edge. B jumps off the edge and falls towards the water belly first. His teammates watch in awe as the large boy falls rapidly towards the water, with Heather still in the ring watching in horror as he gets closer and closer. B hits the water, and a massive splash about half the size of the cliff is formed, washing the boat, sharks, and other contestants far down the beach. The camera pans to the right to show all the Gophers soaked, some hanging onto the now grounded boat, and the sharks clinging to a pine tree. Triumphant music starts to play as all the Screaming Gophers cheer loudly for B, who pumps his fist in excitement and grins at his team. The shot then cuts back up to the cliff where Chris is seen standing.

"Now that was an impressive splash!" Chris says while looking over the edge. "Ok so it looks like the Gophers had ten jumpers." He turns to the other eleven teens. "Killer Bass, you have to have everyone from your team jump to win. If you do, we'll throw in some pull carts to put your crates on."

"Darn right we're gonna have everyone jump!" Sugar says to her team. "So, who's gonna go first?" She looks around at her team, and none of them are willing to volunteer first either.

"I for one would like to stay alive, so I think I'll just chicken out and go down the escalator." Dave quickly says. "Oh no you don't!" Jo says as she quickly grabs Dave by his arm and pulls him close. "Listen nimrod, I'm not losing this challenge just because you don't have the guts to do anything around here. If you go down that escalator, I can promise you I will make your life miserable for the rest of your time here, if I don't vote you off first." she snarls at the boy. Dave gulps. "G-got it." he squeaks out.

"Good, I'll help you down." Jo smirks as she raises the boy above her head, then throws him off the cliff and towards the ring.

"Why meeeeeeee!" Dave screams as he curls up in anticipation of hitting water. Dave cannonballs into the ring, and comes back up flailing his arms. "Help me, I'm drowning! Wait, I'm-im alive!" Dave realizes as he feels his face to make sure he's not imagining it. "Good job Dave!" Mike yells down to the boy. Dave gives a nervous smile as the boat comes and picks him up.

"Hey, that wasn't a good tactic Jo." Brick says while scolding the jock-ette. "We need our teammates to get along, not throw them around like dead weight!" he finishes pointing a finger in accusation. "Oh yeah? Do you wanna be next, buzz cut?" Jo steps forward and folds her arms while glaring at Brick. "Guys, guys! Can't we all just get along and finish this challenge?" Zoey pleads while stepping in between the two glaring teens. "We need to have all eleven of us jump or there's no way we're gonna win."

"Ugh, seriously?" Amy groans from the back. "Can't we just like, get this over with? I'm tired of hearing you talk, flower girl."

"Then you can go next, Lame-y." Jo grins again and rushes to grab the mean twin. "Hey put me down! Don't you dare throw me off this cliff!" Jo ignores her angry comment and throws the girl off the cliff. The camera follows Amy as she screams and holds her legs together as she falls, and Jo quickly follows while expertly diving down the cliff. They both land in the circle and surface at the same time, Jo smiling and Amy glaring at her.

"Well, I guess that worked out." Sugar shrugged. "Might as well join 'em and win this thang!" The camera goes back to the cliffside shot as we see Sugar gleefully cannonballing towards the water, Mike desperately holding his shirt down as he falls, Zoey screaming as she grabs onto Eva who looks annoyed at the attached girl. They all land safely inside the ring and look back up to see only four of their teammates left.

"Uh-uh, no way can I do that man." DJ says while cowering behind Brick. "I'm too scared of heights." A chicken hat comes into the shot, and it zooms out to show a laughing Chris holding it. "Alright, here's your hat, chicken." the host snickers to the large teen. DJ sulkingly walks towards the escalator and gives one final look back to his remaining teammates as he steps onto the machine. "Sorry guys." DJ solemnly says.

"Don't worry soldier, we'll finish the job for you." Brick saluted. He turned to his last two teammates and put his arms around them in a huddle. " Alright cadets, all we have to do is jump off this cliff to tie the game. That means neither team will get the cart and we have a greater physical advantage than the other team. So, who wants to jump first?" He asks the other two as he breaks the huddle. "I can go first, eh. I wanna win this thing too." Ezekiel smiles as he confidently walks towards Chris who is standing near the edge. "I hope your other teammates jump, otherwise you'll probably be sending someone home." Chris says as the boy passes by.

"Don't worry, eh. They'll all jump." Ezekiel replies while preparing to jump. "Yeee-hawwww!" he yells while pumping both fists into the air as the boy jumps and descends down the cliff. The camera cuts to the ring and Ezekiel successfully makes it into the ring, and surfaces while giving his waiting teammates a thumbs up. The rest of the team cheers after seeing the boy make it into the pit. And they wait in anticipation for the last two members of their team to join them.

"Ok there's nothing to worry about. It's just an insanely high dive into shark infested water." Brick tells himself. "Well it can't get any harder or more painful than boot camp was." Brick jumps off and towards the awaiting lake. "Wooohooo!" He yells as he does the splits and pumps his fists into the air. A loud clang can be heard as the camera cuts to show Brick hitting the water while still in the splits. Mike, Sugar, and even Amy are seen wincing as Brick screams in pain. "Mommy..." Brick whimpers as a lone tear falls down his cheek before submerging. The shot goes back to Chris and Sadie, the only two left on the cliffside.

"Ok Bass, only one jumper left!" Chris yells down to the Bass. "If Sadie successfully jumps, you'll force a tie and no one will be using the cart!" Sadie looks nervously down at her team. "It's all up to you Sadie. You got this!" Zoey yells up to the girl. "Don't think about it too much and just jump!" The rest of the team started to shout words of encouragement, but Sadie didn't seem to hear anything but noise as sad music started to play in the background. Sadie started to tear up. "I can't jump without Katie! She has to be here or I won't jump!" the girl says while trying to hold back tears.

"Uhh Sadie, you do realize that if you don't jump, your team will lose this part of the challenge, and you'll be booted off first." The host says with a frown. "I don't care. Katie isn't here and nothing else matters." Sadie says as she starts to cry.

"Uhhhh, yeah." the host says awkwardly. "Here's your loser headgear. Go join the rest of your team." He finishes while putting the chicken hat on the crying girl's head. As Sadie's head descends off the screen, Chris picks up a megaphone.

"The Screaming Gophers win! They can use the carts to pull their crates while the Bass are stuck using their...whatever you'll use to move the crates." He finishes with a laugh. The Screaming Gophers cheer after hearing they won, while the Killer Bass mumble and groan amongst themselves after losing.

The scene flashes and the Gophers are seen carrying all eight of their crates in four carts, two people pulling each one. "Ninety-nine bottles of pop on the wall, ninety-nine bottles of pop, if one of those bottles should happen to fall, ninety-eight bottles of pop on the wall!" They all sing.

The camera quickly pans over to the Bass, and are shown to be having a much harder time transporting their own crates. Brick, Jo, and DJ are leading the group, having no trouble picking up their crates. "Ow I think I just got a bunch of splinters." Dave says as he stops pushing his crate to examine his hand.

Eva, already carrying one box with her right arm, lifts up Dave's box with her other arm. "Quit complaining and push." She throws the box back down in front of Dave and walks away. "Alright alright! Just don't expect me to go fast." Eva and Sugar look at each other and roll their eyes.

The shot flashes back to the Gophers still singing Pop on the Wall, the campground coming into view. "Look, it's the campsite! Geoff yells excitedly. They all cheer and move even quicker.

The scene shifts once more and the Bass are shown falling very far behind. "We're pretty far behind, eh." Ezekiel says while catching his breath. "Hey why aren't you pushing a crate Amy? You're just walking with us, eh." The boy points out at the cheerleader who is in fact, not helping. "Why would I want to help?" She retorts back to the boy. "It's not like we're gonna win anyway." She shrugs and continues to walk towards camp.

"Forget her hon, we're just gonna have to do it ourselves." Sugar grumbles as she passes by. A motor can be heard growing louder as Chris appears on an ATV from the right side of the shot. "You guys are like, way behind." He tells the team. "We're doing the best we can Chris." Mike tells the host as he walks into the shot.

Suddenly he gasps and hunches over, lips curling in and one eye shut. "Dag nab it! Back in my day, when we got this far behind, we just used our muscles and carried everything over!" Mike says in an old man voice. "Uhhh Mike, are you alright?" Zoey asks, walking up to the teen. "Mike? I'm Chester girly." Chester retorts to the now confused girl. "Mike, what's going on?" Zoey asks again, now concerned. Mike gasps, and looks at Zoey with a questioning look. "What do you mean?" he asks in his normal voice. "Wow...that was...something else Mike!" Chris said, looking at Mike strangely.

Back at the cabins, the Gophers are seen attempting to open the crates with their teeth. "I thought this would make it more…challenging." Chris voices over and laughs. As the rest of the team tries to pry the crates open with their teeth, B rubs his soul patch, smiles, and then goes to grab a large stick.

He brings it back, wedges it between the lid and pushes down with his teeth. The lid easily comes off and B smiles. "Dude nice work!" Duncan says to the silent genius. The rest of the team follows suit, and they get the rest of the crates open. "I've got some wood in my crate." Justin says pulling out some planks. "I've got some tools and a pool liner in mine." Jasmine says.

"Ok great. Does anyone actually know how to build a hot tub?" Heather asks, looking annoyed. "B does. He can help direct us." Dawn interjects, poking into frame. "Uh hello? He doesn't speak. How can he direct us if we don't know what he wants?" Heather snaps back. "I'll translate for you all. I can read his aura, which will tell me what he wants to tell you all." The mystic finishes with a blank stare.

The Bass finally arrive at the cabins, to see the Gophers already starting to assemble their own hot tub. "Hey aren't you missing one of your friends?" Ella asks them. They look around for a couple seconds before Brick realizes who they were missing. "We lost Sadie!" he yells.

The camera flashes back to the beach and Sadie can be seen crying near the water, not knowing her team had left her. Chris is seen behind her shaking his head and driving away.

"I'm sure she's fine. Now let's get to work!" Jo says nonchalantly as the camera flashes back to the cabins. "No can do ma'am. I'm going to go look for her! No man left behind is my personal motto." Brick runs off in the direction of the beach, leaving the rest of the bass to start the hot tub themselves.

A montage begins showing the Gophers and Bass' progress in building their hot tubs. We see the Gophers holding up boards for each other, nailing in wood and sharing tools. The Bass are shown trying to nail in boards all by themselves, hogging hammers and nails, and having a hard time keeping the hot tub together.

The camera flashes to the lake where the Gophers were dipping a bucket into the water, and formed a line, and passed the bucket down to the next person until it reached Heather, who dumped the water into the tub. It flashed back one more time to the Bass, showing they had duct taped the wood together, and had formed a leaky, creaking, and barely functional tub.

The shot flashes again and we see Chris standing in between both teams, hot tubs next to them and logos flashing overhead on the screen. Chris walks over to the Gophers hot tub, watching the steam rise from the perfectly built and functional hot tub. Triumphant music starts to play as Chris smiles. "This...is an awesome hot tub!" he exclaims while raising his hands in the air. The gophers cheer and all pat B on the back for helping them build the hot tub.

As Chris walks towards the Killer Bass, the music takes on a more ominous tone. Some of the bass members can be seen looking nervously at Chris as he narrows his eyes when he sees their hot tub. As the host goes to poke the hot tub to test its stability, he gets sprayed in the face with water, and the hot tub falls apart in an instant.

"Well, I think we have a winner here." The host says after wiping off his now drenched face. He looks at both teams before smiling. "The Screaming Gophers!" the host says, raising his hand towards the team. They cheer loudly and the bass can be seen hanging their heads in disappointment.

"You guys are safe from elimination this week." the host says. "And, you guys get to rock this awesome hot tub for the rest of the summer! Bonus!" the host finishes. The Gophers cheer even louder after hearing they get to keep the hot tub. "Killer Bass, it sucks to be you right now huh? I'll see your sorry butts tonight at the bonfire." Chris says shooting the team a finger pistol.

"How grand! We all get to stay another three days!" Ella says to Lindsay and Heather, who all cheer and hug each other. "Woohoo! We get to stay! We get to stay!" Tyler is seen dancing butt naked next to the girls who watch with questioning looks on their faces.

The scene flashes to the main lodge where both teams are seen eating. "So, what do we do now?" Dave asks Sugar while waiting in line. "We gotta vote someone off now." Sugar replies while frowning. "Ok, who should we pick?" Mike says not knowing what to do. "Well I think it should be one of the chicken heads." Jo says as she points to DJ. "Hey where's the other chicken?" she says as she looks around confused. "Guys I'm back!" someone yells.

The camera pans to the door and Brick is seen walking in with a still teary-eyed Sadie. "I finally convinced her to come back and have some dinner with us." he finishes while saluting. "Great! Now we can boot her off." Amy says looking annoyed. "Hey she's been through a lot! Why shouldn't we vote you off instead?" Zoey asks with an angry look on her face.

"Because," Jo interrupted, "even though she didn't jump, she was at least with us when we lost, not hiding away crying herself to death. Plus, even though muscles over here didn't jump, he at least helped out with carrying and building the darn thing." she finishes while pointing towards DJ who gives her a hopeful smile.

"Well I don't like voting anyone out. I value all my teammates and don't wanna see any of 'em go." Brick finishes, sitting down and eating his slop. "I don't even wanna be here anymore, none of you guys even cared that I was alone for most of the challenge. Just vote me off and leave me alone." Sadie says to her group before running back outside, crying along the way.

The scene skips to nighttime, and the campfire pit is shown. The Killer Bass are shown sitting on the stumps, with Chris facing them holding a plate with ten marshmallows sitting on it. "Killer Bass, at camp, marshmallows represent a tasty treat that you roast by the fire and enjoy with your friends." The host says with a serious face. "Here at this camp, they mean life." He finishes.

The teens look unimpressed, and Mike gives Zoey a wave to which she blushes and returns. "You've all cast your votes. If you hear your name called, come up and grab a marshmallow." The host pauses for effect as suspenseful music starts to play. "The first ever marshmallow goes to…Sugar." The host hands the smiling pageant girl her marshmallow and Sugar goes back to her seat. "Mike, you're safe. Zoey, so are you." The two teens walk up and grab a marshmallow while blushing after brushing hands. "DJ, Eva, Jo, and Brick." The four teens happily celebrate and come grab their marshmallows and put them on their pokers.

"Ezekiel and Dave. You're both staying here." the host says. Ezekiel wipes his brow and breathes a sigh of relief. Amy rolls her eyes and comes up to grab her marshmallow too. "Campers, there is only one marshmallow left on my plate. One of you will be going home tonight. Sadie and Dave look at each other, Dave with fear and Sadie with a somber look. "The final marshmallow goes to…" Chris pauses for a very long time to add effect. The music swells as Dave's nervous face is shown again, and Chris dramatically points back and forth between the final two campers left. As the music crescendos and Dave and sadies faces are shown one last time, Chris smiles. "Dave."

"YES!" Dave shouts as he runs to grab his sugary treat. Sadie sighs but doesn't look too surprised. "Can't say I'm surprised Sadie. You left your team to cry alone on the beach. Not cool." the host says while pointing a finger at the girl.

He steps towards the girl who slowly gets up. "Dock of shame it thataway." Chris points with his fingers offscreen to the right. Sadie tears up again as she walks towards the dock. The shot flashes to show the boat of losers waiting for Katie at the end of the dock, and she steps on and departs. The shot cuts back to the remaining ten Bass. "The rest of you," Chris says while giving them an impish grin, "you're all safe. For now."

The camera flashes to show the Gophers partying in their hot tub, dancing around and just having a good time overall. "To the Screaming Gophers!" Duncan toasts. "To the Gophers!" The rest of them yell back and toast their drinks. The Killer Bass can be seen at the bottom of the screen walking back towards their cabin to get some rest.

"Hey are you still filming? Good." Jo asks before turning towards the camera. "I'm here to win, no matter what. And if that means I have to carry my team or make some sacrifices along the way. I'll do it. You better watch out, because no one here can stop me." She sneers and points towards the camera.

(End Episode)

So sorry for the late upload! I was in a spot with poor internet access, I promise to upload by Saturday morning next the second episode is done, and the first elimination has finally happened. When I got Sadie, I didn't know what I would do with her this season. One; she didn't have Katie with her, and two; she doesn't do much in the canon show anyways. This was really the only way to boot her that felt even semi convincing.

On a lighter note, there were some glimpses of the Brick and Jo rivalry! I like the dynamic that they had in Revenge of the Island, but it ended way too short. Plus Ezekiel lives another day! I hated how they never used him in canon so he'll be used much more here in Mix-Up. I'm liking where the story is heading so far

As always, leave your thoughts if you would like, and I should have the next chapter up in about a week. Hope you liked it and see you next week!
