Hey, guys! Welcome to the next Jurassic Universe Chapter! Now, to explain my 2-year Hiatus, I'm going to tell you all the honest truth...in the past, I had lost my love for the Steven Universe Fandom.
Let me explain, I know what I said about the Steven Universe Season 5 Finale and Steven Universe Future and how I praised it, but after giving it more views, I had grown to see the...NUMEROUS flaws in them. I won't say how I feel about both things since it could be about 10,000 words, but basically the Steven Universe Season 5 Finale and Steven Universe Future SHATTERED my love for both the show and this fic. I tried really hard to get into it, but I couldn't at the time, so I decided to focus on other stories, but it wasn't until recently, when I created my Steven Universe/Adventure Time Story, that I started regaining my old love for the show and I regained my spark for this story.
So, suffice it to say, I will drastically change Steven Universe Season 5 and Steven Universe Future to how I WANTED it to end instead of the massive disappointment that we got. Oh, and before I go, I have a few things to say. Since I went back into Jurassic Universe, I decided to re-edit the past chapters to fit my modern writing, created an actual real theme song, and copied and pasted it into this chapter and the past chapters, and I also changed Saurus's age to 16 instead of 14, and I also changed the rating to M for violence, language, sexual humor, and future lemons...anyway, I don't own anything except for my OCs as the OC Arthur Galaxy belongs entirely to my friend 9655.
NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
A few days had passed from the unfortunate Halloween Incident, and ever since then, things have been tense in the Universe household as the Crystal Gems had not talked to Saurus at all ever since they saw the young teen almost shatter a Gem and have been giving him dirty looks every time they see him, much to his annoyance as Saurus wasn't fond of receiving the silent treatment and being glared at 24/7, but Saurus figures that they couldn't be angry at him forever and will eventually stop being hostile around him someday, so Saurus decided to leave them be for now as he was in no rush in trying to talk to them as well. Steven, however, was a different story as he was beyond confused about why the Crystal Gems had stopped talking to Saurus and had asked the Gems many times what did he do that warranted being ignored, only to receive grim looks as the Gems told him that they would explain the problem more clearly when he's older.
Frowning, Steven was about to protest, but after Saurus told him that it was best to give them their space for now, Steven reluctantly allowed the Gems to continue giving Saurus the silent treatment as he secretly hopes that this problem goes away quickly and they become friends again. Although, much to the Boys' shock, even after two weeks had passed, the Crystal Gems were STILL trying their best to ignore the Human/Dinosaur Hybrid Teenager as they were starting to spend more time in the Temple, which Steven had later explained to him that the Temple was where the Crystal Gems truly lived in, and whenever they want to come outside, the Gems make sure that Saurus was nowhere around before exiting the Temple.
Saurus was starting to get frustrated by the clear tension around him and the Gems and how hard they were trying to avoid him as Saurus decided that he had enough of being patient and tried to talk to them, but whenever he tries to have a conversation with them, Garnet, Amethyst or Pearl either flinches at his sudden presence and makes up an excuse to leave Steven's house quickly or bluntly ignores him and stoically walks back into the Crystal Temple as they hide there for a couple of days. Growling in anger at the Crystal Gems' treatment of him, Saurus decided to take out his anger in training as he stormed off outside and walked off to the area of the beach that Saurus had designated as his 'Training Area' as he stood in front of a large boulder and glared at it furiously as Saurus wore his training clothes, which consisted of a sleeveless black tank top with a red headband, red straps wrapped around his arms, black shorts, and flip flops.
"Stupid Gems," Saurus growled out in anger while transforming into his Hybrid Dinosaur Form as he started punching the boulder. "Ignoring me. Getting angry at me for no good reason." Saurus hissed out as he continued punching the boulder and began to crack the huge rock with the sheer force of his punches alone as Saurus remembers what Garnet said earlier about mindless monsters not deserving death and scoffs at this as he continued punching the rock. "Who cares that I could've killed that Gem Monster?! It's what it deserves after killing multiple people for a decade!" Saurus says, his anger slowly growing with each punch as he also remembered Garnet telling him about not being remorseful for killing the Ventadores, leading him to start punching the rock with more ferocity as Saurus narrowed his eyes in absolute fury and transformed into his Full Dinosaur Form as he roared.
"MERCY!? REMORSE?! FOR THOSE BASTARDS!? DID THEY EVER SHOW REMORSE FOR WHAT THEY DID TO ME GROWING UP?! NO!? THEN I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT! WHO'S SHE TO JUDGE ME FOR KILLING THEM! THOSE ASSHOLES, AS WELL AS EVERYONE IN GENEYSN, DESERVE NOTHING BUT DEATH AT MY HANDS!" Saurus roared out in anger as he reared back his large arms and slammed them on the boulder, instantly breaking it apart as Saurus panted heavily before slowly transforming back to his human form as he bends down to his knees and glanced down at his hand as Saurus noticed that dark green scales still littered around in his hands and soon his whole forearm was starting to get covered in dark green scales. Saurus panics a bit, his earlier anger disappearing as he grabbed his arm and took deep breaths as Saurus slowly calmed down, and his dark green scales started receding back into his body as Saurus let out a shaky breath of relief.
"Man, that was too close. I really need this whole Crystal Gem mess under control before I go into a rampage again. I can't let that happen...not after last time." Saurus says while looking down at the ground with a remorseful look on his face as he sighs heavily and was about to continue with his training but was stopped as Saurus heard a familiar voice rang out.
"Saurus!" A young childish voice yelled out as Saurus looked up and saw a worried Steven looking down from his balcony. "Are you okay? I heard loud noises coming from outside." Steven says while running down the stairs as he ran over to Saurus.
"Uh, yeah, that was me. Sorry, I may have gone a little too...intense during my training." Saurus says sheepishly while pointing behind him as Steven was surprised to see thousands of broken pieces of rubble laid behind Saurus.
"Yeah, I can see that," Steven says while running over to inspect the ruble as he turned back over to Saurus confusedly/worriedly. "What happened?"
"It was nothing. Just something stupid." Saurus says as Steven gave him an unconvinced look, and the young hybrid sighed tiredly as he rubbed his head. "Fine, I took out my frustrations with the Gems on that rock, okay?" Saurus asked in annoyance while sitting down on the beach as he placed his head on his hands. "I don't really like letting loose like that, but this whole Gem situation is really getting on my nerves."
"I know how you feel, Saurus. I'm getting angry by what's going on as well," Steven says while sitting down next to Saurus as he looked up at him sadly. "It's getting hard trying to hang out with you lately because the Gems always have me go out on missions without you and stuff. I miss you, Saurus." Steven says as Saurus, who got annoyed at being excluded to go out on missions, smiled at him lightly and gave Steven a side hug.
"Ah, I miss you too, kid. Don't worry. I'm sure this whole thing with the Gems will blow over. They can't be angry at me forever, you know." Saurus says as Steven beams and nods. "Although I hope they don't hate me for that long," Saurus added in quietly under his breath as he turned back to Steven and was about to say something else when suddenly-
"STEVEN! WE HAVE ANOTHER MISSION TO GO TO! HUSTLE UP!" Pearl's voice rang out from inside Steven's house.
"Well, that's your cue to leave, kid. Make sure to bring back a souvenir for me, okay?" Saurus asked jokingly as he stood up and was about to go back to his training, but was stopped by Steven as he gave him a serious look.
"No, no more staying behind. You're coming with us, Saurus." Steven says firmly as Saurus didn't look like he was on board with what Steven was saying.
"Uh, I don't know, kid. I don't think the Crystal Gems want me around anytime soon, especially for a mission." Saurus says as Steven huffs and grabbed his hand, and the 13-year-old Boy started leading him up the stairs.
"Well, tough cookies. I'm tired of you guys not talking to each other for weeks, so we're going to fix this problem right now," Steven says while walking up to the balcony as they reached the front door.
"I don't think this is a good id-," Saurus says before getting by Steven as he opened the door, and the duo saw the Crystal Gems standing near the Warp Pad as a smiling Pearl turned to the boys.
"Oh, Steven, you're here. Good. We need to go-," Pearl says before frowning subtly as she saw Saurus standing beside Steven. "Oh, hey, Saurus. We're about to head out, so if you don't mind me borrowing Steven here, we will be on our way." Pearl says while grabbing Steven's hand as she was about to lead him towards the Warp Pad.
"Wait, before we go, can Saurus come with us?" Steven asked hopefully as the Crystal Gems flinched and glanced at each other warily as they then turned back over to Steven, and Garnet stepped up.
"Steven, I know that you care about Saurus, but we can't bring him with us," Garnet stated firmly.
"But why not?" Steven says with a confused and disappointed tone as Garnet sighs heavily and shakes her head as she gave the Human/Gem Hybrid Pre-Teen a serious glare.
"You are too young to understand-,"
"What I understand is that you guys have been acting distant and not friendly to each other for two weeks now, and I'm sick of it!" Steven snapped, surprising everyone as they turned to him. "All of you guys are supposed to be friends, but ever since Halloween, you all have been acting mean to each other! I don't know what's going on and stuff, but what I do know is that you guys need to settle your differences, and the only way to do that is for Saurus to come with us on the mission! It's either he goes or I won't!" Steven yelled firmly, once again surprising everyone since they all know how much he loves their missions as the Crystal Gems and Saurus shared an awkward look before the Human/Dinosaur Hybrid sighed heavily as he stepped forward.
"Alright, I'm coming...for Steven's sake," Saurus says while glancing over at Steven as the Crystal Gems shared an annoyed look but nodded reluctantly as the Human/Gem Hybrid perked up happily and eagerly ran over to the Warp Pad but not before snatching his ukelele as the others followed after the Young Child and the Crystal Gems warped them all away.

Standing in a large red colorful background with millions of glowing stars, we see a stoic Garnet lifting up her glasses to wink at the readers with her Dual Germstones glowing brightly as we see a pair of smirking Pearl and Amethyst standing back to back with their Gemstones glowing brightly as a roaring Saurus dropped down from the sky and landed in front of the Crystal Gems in his Full Dinosaur Form with Steven riding on his back and his Gemstone glowed brightly as they all struct a heroic pose.
And if you think we can't,
We'll always find a way!
After warping themselves into the other side of the planet, the Crystal Gems can be seen glaring at a hoard of Corrupted Gems, Evil Dinosaurs, and Jasper and Peridot as Garnet swiftly summoned her Gauntlets while Pearl summoned her spear as Amethyst pulled out her whip, Steven summoned his Shield, and Saurus transformed into his True Dinosaur Form as the Crystal Gems then mounted onto Saurus's back and charged forward as they all let out a loud battle cry.

After defeating their powerful foes and saving the Planet Earth, the Crystal Gems decided to head back to Beach City as, after warping themselves near their Hometown, a roaring Saurus ran down the streets of Beach City, alarming Lars and Sadie, surprising the Pizza Family, impressing the Cool Kids, and caused a visiting Connie to gasp in awe as the Gang were able to arrive at their home and everyone got off Saurus's back as he transformed back into his Human Form just as Greg drove up to them as he got out of the vehicle and placed a grill in front of them to grill up some victory Hot Dogs as a smiling Saurus rubbed a giggling Steven's head proudly.

"Pay attention, Boys, this is going to be your first serious mission with us," Garnet says with a firm tone as we see the Crystal gems warping through a warp stream. "Which means that you two have to follow our orders to the very letter," Garnet says while glaring firmly at Saurus, who rolled his eyes a bit but crossed his arms as, unlike the Lunar Sea Spire Mission, he was able to keep a steady stature throughout the whole trip.
"Yeah, yeah..."
"Don't worry, Guys, I'm totally ready!" An excited Steven says while warping upside down as Pearl turned to give him a disapproving glare.
"Steven, come on, you're gonna make yourself sick," Pearl says while reaching over to grab an airborne Steven as she turns him upright, but then yelped in pain as she gets hit in the eye by Steven's ukulele. "Why did you bring that?
"I don't know! I was excited, and it's mine, and I like it!" Steven says with a smile just as his ukulele started floating away upwards as a surprised Steven swims after it.
"Whoa, Steven, be careful!" Saurus yelled worriedly as he then composed himself and started swimming after his Alien Human/Gem Hybrid Friend.
"Boys! Get back here! You could get seriously-," Pearl says scoldingly before getting interrupted by the Crystal Gems warping themselves in the middle of a field of giant strawberries as they safely arrived in the Warp Pad. "...hurt!" Perl finished as the Boys ended up warping several feet into the air and a couple of yards away from the Warp Pad as Saurus reacted quickly and reached over to grab Steven just as they fall down into the strawberry field as the Boys ended up crashing down on top of someone.
The Mysterious Man is a 6-feet-tall, 18-year-old Male Human/Gem Hybrid with black eyes, shaggy purple hair, thin purple eyebrows, a small nose, a sharp chin, a small black gemstone planted inside of his right hand, Light Skin Skin, a tall muscular slim build, and his outfit consists of a long-sleeved opened black leather jacket with a short-sleeved white shirt underneath, a black belt with a silver belt buckle, long black jeans, and a pair of black/white shoes. His name is Arthur Galaxy, the second known Human/Gem Hybrid in the world.
"Boys! Are you...?" Pearl says before trailing off as she and the others noticed that Saurus and Steven had crashed down on top of Arthur as the Gang stared at each other silently for a few tense seconds before composing themselves as the 18-year-old threw off the Boys from his back and stood up from the floor as Saurus landed on the ground on all fours while a grunting Steven landed beside him as, much to everyone's shock, Arthur stood up from the floor and his gem glowed brightly as he summoned a pair of armored sharp gauntlet claws.
"Stand back!" Arthur demanded as the Crystal Gems flinched and reacted quickly as Saurus morphed into his Human/Dinosaur Hybrid Form while Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst summoned their Gauntlets, Spear, and Whip as the Gang were about to attack each other, but then-
"Hi! I'm Steven Universe! What's your name?" An oblivious Steven asked with a friendly tone while walking over to Arthur, who slowly blinked in shock as he eyed him and the others.
"Wait, hold on, you are Steven Universe? You guys are the Crystal Gems?" Arthur asked while desummoning his weapons as Saurus and the Crystal Gems shared an odd and suspicious look, but after getting a look from Garnet, the Gems desummoned their weapons as Saurus morphed himself back into his Human Form.
"Yeah, we are. What about it?" Amethyst asked rudely as Arthur stepped forward and held up his arm to show off his gem.
"Because I think we all have something in common."
"Whoa! You have a Gem too!" An amazed Steven exclaimed as Pearl narrowed her eyes suspiciously.
"But you are Human. How is this possible?"
"Well, long story short, I was transmuted into a Human/Gem Hybrid by someone who saved my life when a Corrupted Gem attacked me and my Family."
"Seriously?! So you're like me!? That's awesome!" A starry-eyed Steven says as Saurus stared at Arthur curiously.
"So, who was this Gem that saved you?"
"Can't say, but I will say that I owe my life to her. If it wasn't for her, I would've joined my Family in the Afterlife." Arthur says, surprising the Crystal Gems as they could tell that he wasn't lying by the tone of his voice. "And it's also why I am here. I was sent here by her to try and find a Gemstone for her to help defend Earth and Humanity." Arthur explained as Steven perked up excitedly.
"Ooh, really? Hey, maybe you can come with us on our mission, and we can help you find what you are looking for?"
"Seriously? Wow, thanks, I would appreciate that." Arthur says with a smile as Saurus and the others didn't look comfortable with what Steven suggested.
"Uh, Steven, are you sure about this? I mean, we barely know the guy." Saurus pointed out as Pearl nodded.
"While I hate to agree with Saurus right now, he makes a good point. How do you know that we can trust him?"
"I don't know. I'm with Steven on this one. He seems like a chill dude." Amethyst says as Pearl frowns and shakes her head.
"Look, I just don't think-,"
"Let's put it to a vote." Garnet interrupted, gaining everyone's attention as they turned to her. "Raise your hands if you think that we shouldn't bring him with us," Garnet says as Saurus and Pearl raise their hands. "Now, raise your hands if you think that we should bring him with us," Garnet says as Steven and Amethyst raised their hands as, much to Saurus and Pearl's shock, Garnet did the same.
"Garnet-,"
"Just trust me, it will all work out soon," Garnet says as Pearl huffs but nodded as Saurus scoffed.
"I still don't think that it's a good idea to bring him, but whatever," Saurus says with crossed arms and a glare as the Crystal Gems gave him a small glare, and Steven sighed a bit disappointedly, still sad to see his Friends fight as they then turned back to Arthur.
"Well, we talked about it and...I guess you can come along with us." Pearl says with a hesitant smile as Arthur nodded.
"Good to know, and since we are going to be working with each other, we might as well know each other's names. My name is Arthur Galaxy. What are your names?"
"I'm Steven Universe."
"Saurus."
"Garnet."
"Pearl."
"Amethyst." The Crystal Gems said in unison as Arthur nodded before the Gang turned around as they walked forward.
"So, I'm curious. I have heard about the Crystal Gems and even Steven, but not about you, Saurus. " Arthur says as he walked alongside the Human/Dinosaur Hybrid. "And how were you able to transform like that earlier?"
"I'm a new member...well, kind of. The Gems and I are kind of suffering through a rift. I will explain another time, but anyway, I was experimented on a lot as a child and gained the ability to transform into a Dinosaur and such." Saurus explains while summoning dark green scales on his arms to demonstrate as Arthur 'ooooohed' in amazement.
"Oh, cool."
"Thanks," Saurus says with a nod as the Gang continued walking through the strawberry field, which was littered with swords stuck in the ground as Pearl looked around in awe.
"Unbelievable, this was once a Gem Battlefield, and now it's wild strawberries as far as the eye can see!" Pearl exclaimed while twirling around in joy as she perked up. "Oh, that's what I love about the Earth! Maybe this will be a light mission after all!" Pearl says before grunting in surprise as Garnet comes to a halt and Pearl bumps into her as, after composing herself, the Crystal Gems and Arthur find themselves standing in front of an upside-down pyramid temple.
"Maybe not," Garnet stated bluntly before holding out her arms as she magically summoned a small pyramid piece and slots it into the Pyramid Temple as the door magically disappears, revealing a path into the temple.
"Woooaaahhh!" Steven says in awe as he and the others walked into the Pyrmid Temple Outer Chamber, which was filled with all kinds of Gem Carvings. "Wooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
"He's easily impressed, isn't he?" Arthur asked Saurus amusedly as the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Hybrid nodded.
"Steven's the best!" Steven yelled after cupping his hands around his mouth as his voice echoed across the chamber. "Why thank you, temple."
"You're a doof." Amethyst says as she and Saurus chuckled a bit before noticing what they did and shared an annoyed look as Steven saw this and frowned a bit before spotting a small pyramid levitating on a pedestal as he walked over to it.
"Hey, what's this thing? It's like a cool floaty triangle thing."
"Wait, Steven, don't touch it!" Pearl warned worriedly just as Steven touches the small pyramid as it tips over, and the Temple begins to shake and rumble as the Crystal Gems and Arthur quickly rush to Steven.
"Steven! What have we told you about touching magical things?!" A stern Pearl asked as Steven gave her a sheepish smile.
"Definitely always never do it?"
"Then why did you touch it even when you know not to?" Arthur asked incredulously as Saurus shrugged.
"Well, to be fair, when you tell a Kid to not do something, almost always expect them to do the opposite."
"Oh just like during Halloween," Pearl says snidely as Saurus turned to glare at her.
"Okay, you want to know something? I-Whoa!" Saurus says before he and the others yelped in surprise as they all begin to float off the ground and are sucked into a hole in the ceiling as the Gang falls through a corridor and appeared on the other side as they landed inside of the Pyramid Temple-Inner Chamber and the Crystal Gems landed gracefully on the ground with Saurus and Arthur landed beside them with ease as a grunting Steven landed flat on his stomach and the hole is then sealed up as torches begin to light up all around them, revealing several doorways as the Crystal Gem and Arthur looked around warily.
"Looks like we're gonna have to split up," Amethyst says as Arthur frowns a bit.
"I think that's a horrible idea."
"Same. I mean, sure, after falling down into a random area inside a magical chamber, it's totally a good idea to separate." Saurus says sarcastically as the Crystal Gems glared at him in annoyance.
"We are splitting up because we can't just stand here and do nothing," Pearl says with a huff as she then walked over to hold Steven close to her. "Now, Steven and I will stay right here, where it seems to be safe, while you guys go and solve the mystery of this place. "Garnet? You take Arthur. Amethyst? You take Saurus."
"Wait, I want to help solve the mystery!" Steven yelled as a smirking Amethyst nodded and walked over to grab him by his stomach as she lifted him up into her shoulders.
"Yeah, I want to spend time with my little Steven, anyway, Now, c'mon, Steven. Let's solve the mystery."
"Yeah, mystery solvers!" A beaming Steven shouted as he and Amethyst were about to walk away but was stopped by Pearl as she rushed over to snatch Steven away.
"No. No, no, no, no. You two are a disaster waiting to happen, and I don't feel comfortable if Saurus goes with you guys alone, so...maybe it's best that Saurus stays with me and Steven."
"What? No, I want to help find a way to get out of here as well." Saurus says with a glare as he crossed his arms. "If you guys are seriously that bothered with teaming up with me, then how about I go with Arthur?"
"That sounds reasonable," Arthur says with a nod as Steven pouts.
"But I wanted you guys to come with us," Steven says disappointedly as Garnet spots this and hums in thought as she then stepped forward.
"The Boys go with me," Garnet says stoically as Saurus, Pearl, Amethyst, and Arthur gave her a surprised look while Steven beams.
"Really?! Awesome!" Steven exclaimed excitedly with starry eyes.
"But remember, this is a serious mission, and you have to follow my orders," Garnet says while giving the Boys a serious glare as Saurus sighed heavily but nodded with Arthur doing the same as Steven perked up.
"Understood! Serious Steven-Wait, Pearl, can you put me down?" Steven asked after realizing that he was still being held by Pearl.
"Wha-Oh, yes, of course." A sheepish Pearl says as she sets Steven down.
"Thanks...Serious Steven Activate!" Steven yelled while striking a pose as he, Saurus, Garnet, and Arthur then began treading off.
"But this could be the teacups all over again," Pearl says worriedly as Steven flinched but then composed himself as he turned to her.
"Hey, I've put that behind me!" Steven yelled firmly as a confused Arthur turned to Saurus.
"What's up with the 'Teacups' thing?"
"Oh, I will tell you about it," Saurus says with a nod, remembering about the Teacup Incident, which happened shortly before the Halloween Incident, funny enough as Saurus began telling Arthur about it, the Gang walked through a doorway as Steven starts singing.
"Oooh, we're on a magic treasure hunt, for some magic treasure junk! Something, something, magic something~," Steven sang just as the Gang entered an open room and a door closes behind them as a door on the other side of the room glows, and random tiles on the floor begin to light up all around the room.
"Whoa, a Mystery Room. Hmmm, and I guess that we need to stay on the glowing panels, huh?" Saurus deduced as Garnet nodded curtly.
"Yes," Garnet says as the Boys nodded, and the Gang began leaping through all of the glowing panels with Steven surprisingly reaching near the exit first as he cheers for his accomplishment.
"Nice work, Steven," Saurus complimented with a thumbs up as Steven beams at the praise and danced in joy, but then yelped in surprise when the temple suddenly rumbles and caused Steven to trip and fall onto a non-glowing panel as all of the glowing panels all turn red and the room begins to shake as the floor collapses into a pit of open flames and the panel under Steven collapses too as he clings onto the edge of an intact panel.
"Steven! Like we practiced! Bubble Time!" Saurus ordered as Steven nodded shakily and took a deep breath as his Gem glowed brightly and summoned his Bubble Shield just as he fell down and fell down through the flame pit as the Gang sighed in relief when a bubbled up Steven leaped upwards into the air, and Arthur reacted quickly as he summoned his Spiked Gauntlets and leaped up high into the air as he stabbed himself against the wall and began scaling up it as the Human/Gem Adult reached an airborne Steven in no time and used the wall as a springboard to leap forward and collided against Steven's Bubble Shield as they fell down and landed on the exit. "Let's go, Garnet!" Saurus yelled to Garnet while morphing into his Human/Dinosaur Hybrid Form as she nodded stoically, and the Duo began hoping to cross the intact panels as they front-flip over to land beside the boys.
"Ha, ha, ha! Woo-hoo! I can't believe that work!" An amazed Steven says after his bubble popped as Arthur placed him down on the ground. "That was...uhh... seriously dangerous. Thank you, for your advice and help, guys." Steven says gratefully after quickly changing his tone when the Gang gave him stern looks as they nodded in satisfaction before walking into another chamber as the door closes behind them again, startling Steven as he then groaned a bit when the chamber starts to rumble again.
"What is with that rumbling?" A confused Saurus asked with Garnet and Arthur nodding in agreement before noticing that Steven was sweating and looks a little green faced as they gave him a concerned look.
"We can take a break if you're not feeling well, Steven," Garnet says reassuringly as Arthur nodded.
"Yeah, I mean that was an intense situation after all."
"Huh? Oh, no, I'm okay! Let's keep going!" Steven says with a grin while flexing his muscles as Garnet smiles softly and placed her hands on her hips.
"Alright, but be careful. You might trigger a trap with that gun show."
"Right. I'll put these babies away and use my mind." Steven says with a nod as he began inspecting the wall. "Maybe there's a clue hidden in these ancient drawings?"
"Well, you could be right, honestly," Saurus says as he and the others began inspecting the Gem Drawings as well.
"It looks like... there are lots of triangles hidden somewhere in this room."
"Ha, ha, again, you are not wrong," Arthur says with an amused smile as Steven grinned while feeling around the wall as he accidentally pushes a section of the wall inwards and caused spikes to appear from the ceiling as everyone flinched in shock.
"Cheese it!" Saurus screamed as he and the others ran ahead just as several ceiling spikes begin crushing upon them with Steven barely misses the trap, ripping his shirt and the strip of his ukulele as Saurus winced in pain when he felt a spike trap go down his back, wounding him as he then gasped when another ceiling spike came down on them and reacted quickly as Saurus transformed into his Full Dinosaur State and ran over to tackle his friends onto the ground with him hovering above them as Saurus gritted his teeth in pain when the ceiling spikes stabbed into his back and got stuck as it struggled to move upwards.
"Saurus!"
"I'm okay, Steven! Don't worry! Garnet, Arthur? Destroy the rest of the ceiling spikes!" Saurus ordered as the Duo nodded and summoned their weapons as Garnet and Arthur got out of cover as they then crouched down and leaped up high into the air as they threw a swift punch against the roof, cracking and damaging it with their Superhuman Strength as large cracks ran down it, destroying the rest of the ceiling spikes as Saurus then grunted and ripped out the ceiling spike from his back with his Healing Factor healing up his injuries as Saurus grabbed the ripped out ceiling spike and twirled around as he tossed it forward and it flew over to collide against a wall, creating a large cracked hole on it as everyone ran through the makeshift exit. "Whew, that was a close one."
"Yeah, thanks for the help, Saurus," Steven says with a smile.
"Yeah...thanks..." Garnet says awkwardly as Arthur gave him a worried look.
"Are you going to be okay?"
"Hmmm? Oh, yeah, I will be. I have a healing factor." Saurus explained while shifting into his Human Form as Arthur sighs in relief and nodded before the Group walked further through the makeshift exit and arrived at another chamber as, this time, it was full of swinging blades, spikes, falling lava, and open flames as Steven becomes visibly nauseated and frightened.
"Get ready, Steven. This is gonna be intense-Oh..." Garnet says before blinking in disbelief and shock as a moaning Steven crashed down into the ground due to passing out.
"Okay, then, while Steven is taking a small nap, how about you and I have a talk, Garnet?" Saurus suggested, wanting to fix this whole mess as fast he can as the Leader of the Crystal Gems nodded curtly. "Arthur? Do you mind looking after Steven while we talk for a bit?"
"Sure," Arthur says while walking over to grab Steven and dragged him away as Saurus turned to Garnet with a serious glare on his face.
"Okay, Garnet, don't bullshit me. What did I do exactly wrong during the Halloween Incident?" Saurus asked as Garnet glared at him.
"You know what you did wrong," Garnet says as Saurus narrowed his eyes at her suspiciously.
"Hmmm, I don't know, you guys seem to be REALLY bothered and angry that I nearly tried to shatter that Gem Monster's Gem. I get that you guys don't like me killing stuff, but this seems to be too personal of a matter. I mean, you guys were acting as if those Corrupted Gems used to be peo..." Saurus says before trailing off as he put two and two together, and a look of horrifying realization appeared on his face. "Oh..."
"Yeah."
"Oh..."
"Yeah."
"Oh..."
"Yeah," Garnet stated with a firm glare as Saurus then composed himself and took a deep breath as he turned to her.
"Okay, look, I may not know what is fully going on, and I know that you guys don't want to tell me the full story yet, but I think it's unfair that you guys are judging me for something that I didn't know. How I was supposed to know that these Corrupted Gems were sentient?"
"But you did know that those Ventadores Creatures were sentient, and yet you killed them without remorse," Garnet says sternly as Saurus gave her a surprised look.
"How did you find out about that?"
"I have my ways," Garnet says ominously as Saurus huffs but sighed heavily as he glared at her.
"Garnet, I killed them because they tortured me when I was young. They are nothing but sadistic evil creatures and deserve nothing but death. But if I had known that those Corrupted Gem Beings are sentient from the very beginning, I would've NEVER thought to kill them."
"...Seriously?" A shocked yet hopeful Garnet asked as Saurus nodded.
"Yeah, I mean, it's clearly obvious that they must've lost their minds when they become corrupted, so they aren't in control of their actions and are innocent, but the Ventadores? They aren't. I mean, seriously, do you all think that I would kill any person that I meet?" Saurus asked as Garnet remained silent and looked away guiltily as she sighs heavily.
"Alright, maybe...we were a bit too harsh on you. We just assumed the worse, and...we shouldn't have. I will talk to Pearl and Amethyst about it." Garnet says as Saurus sighed in relief.
"Thanks, that's all that I asked for," Saurus says with a smile, happy that they finally make amends as Arthur walked over to them while carrying around Steven.
"Are you guys done? Because we really need to go."
"Yeah, we are," Saurus says while shifting into his Human/Dinosaur Hybrid Form as Garnet nodded before she summoned her gauntlets, and the Gang leaped forward as Garnet punched through the giant swinging blades, breaking them apart as a grunting Arthur carried around Steven while jumping across the platforms and avoid all of the incoming ceiling spikes as a glaring Saurus used a combination of his Superhuman Strength and Speed to jump up high into the air and leaped cross the platforms while avoiding the numerous rising flames as he landed on the ground and gasped in shock as a huge stream of lava fell down from the ceiling above him, and it was about to collide against him, but thankfully Garnet zoomed onto the scene and tackled him into the ground as the lava splashed against her body harmlessly and splashed down off the platform.
"Are you okay?" Garnet asked worriedly as Saurus glanced up at her and nodded as he was about to thank her, but then freezes in shock as he spotted her large F-Cup Boobs hovering above him and blushed heavily as Saurus coughed awkwardly and looked away.
"Y-Yeah, I'm alright," Saurus says as Garnet nodded just as they noticed more and more platforms being splashed down by lava as she glanced down at the 16-year-old Human/Dinosaur Hybrid Teenager.
"You might as well hang onto me." Garnet warns as Saurus blushed awkwardly but nodded as he wrapped his limbs around her body and Garnet grunted as she began using her Alien Agility and Speed to leap across the platforms while protecting Saurus from the lava with her body as they were able to reach the exit just as Arthur appeared with a still unconscious Steven as they landed beside them. "You can get off me now, Saurus, and stop poking me with your tail."
"Errr, yeah, tail..." Saurus says with a heavy blush while letting go of Garnet as he landed on the ground and turned away as the Human/Dinosaur Hybrid feels awkward about getting a semi-boner around Garnet, but his thoughts were interrupted by Steven slowly waking up from his unconscious state and groaned as Arthur sets Steven down on the ground.
"...Ugh...Whoa, what? We made it?" A surprised Steven asked as Arthur turned to him.
"I carried you while you took a nap," Arthur says as he and Garnet walk off into the doorway.
"N-Nap?!" A shocked Steven asked while being disappointed and embarrassed that he had passed out in the middle of their mission as Saurus reached over to pat Steven's head before they followed after the Duo and the Gang stepped into a large chamber as they look up and sees the sealed hole where they previously fell in from as Saurus and the others gasped in shock.
"We're back where we started."
"How did that happen?" A bewildered Saurus asked with Arthur looking around curiously while Steven lets out a small 'Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!' as Pearl suddenly rushed onto the scene after making their way out of the doorway.
"Garnet, there you are! The doors and rooms here make no sense! They all bring you here!" A panicking Pearl yelled just as Amethyst rushed out of the same doorway that Pearl came out of and groaned in agony as she gripped her head in dismay.
"Get me out of here!" Amethyst screamed as she runs into another doorway crazily.
"There are sixteen doors, and we entered from the northeast and went through three consecutive rooms in a straight line..." Pearl trails off as Amethyst returns with a bear trap on her head and pulls it off as she runs back to the same doorway. "...but we then arrived back here out the southern-most door, which could only mean...w-well, I don't know what it means!" Pearl yelled frantically just as Amethyst slides in from a different doorway, frozen in a block of ice as Pearl winced. "THIS IS A DEATH TRAP!" Pearl exclaimed in exasperation while summoning her spear as she tries to break Amethyst out of the ice.
"Wha...? What do we do?!" Steven asked worriedly as Garnet gave him a serious look.
"We go back in. Again, and again, and again, and again." Garnet says with Steven trembling a bit as he whimpered.
"What? No, that's a horrible idea. We will just keep coming back here over and over again. We have to come up with another plan." Arthur says as Garnet frowned and was about to say something, but then-
"I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE!"
"Steven?!" A worried Pearl asked as she and the others turned to him.
"Steven, it's okay," Garnet says as a nervous Steven shakes his head.
"No! No, it's not! You were all right about me! I wanted to do this so bad, but now I feel like I'm gonna throw up! THIS IS JUST LIKE THE TEACUPS!" Steven screamed as Pearl gave him a guilty look.
"Oh, Steven, I-I didn't really mean that-,"
"Wait! Ah! Wait, you guys, what if this is just like the teacups?! That's why we're getting so lost! That's why I'm feeling so sick! All the rooms are spinning us around, so we end up here!" Steven exclaimed as the Gang perked up and shared a look, realizing that he had made a good point as Garnet turned to Saurus and Arthur.
"Boys? Let's roll." Garnet says while summoning her gauntlets as the Boys nodded with Arthur summoning his spiked gauntlets, and Saurus transformed into his Full Dinosaur Form as the Trio walked forward and raised their fists before delivering a powerful punch down on the ground, cracking the floor and breaking it apart as they all fall into a hidden lower room filled with spinning upside-down pyramids, orbiting around a central floating obelisk embedded with a gemstone as Garnet, Steven, and Arthur landed on one of the small pyramids platforms with Saurus and Pearl landing on their own platforms as a frozen Amethyst collided against a third pyramid platform, and her ice trap shattered apart as she got freed.
"This is unbelievable!" An amazed Pearl exclaimed as she projects a hologram of the room mechanism with her Gem. "This Gem-powered mechanism! It's manipulating the rooms above! Every room we entered spun us until we came back to the central chamber! It's just like the teacups ride at Funland!"
"Steven already figured that out!" Garnet yelled with Steven smiling and giggling as an embarrassed Pearl hides her hologram away, and Saurus chuckled a bit before noticing the gemstone in the obelisk as he narrowed his eyes and turned to Garnet.
"Garnet, I need to go and get that gemstone and end this! Do you trust me enough to get it?!" Saurus asked as Garnet thought about it before nodding as Saurus grinned cockily and stood up from the pyramid platform as he leaped forward with his Superhuman Strength and flew through the air as Saurus landed on the obelisk and cling onto it as Steven and Arthur began cheering for him while Pearl and Amethyst looked worried as Garnet gave them a reassuring look and the Human/Dinosaur Hybrid grunted as he opened up his jaws and clamped it down against the gemstone in the obelisk, causing it to glow and eject itself as the upside-down pyramids stop spinning and begin to glow, being absorbed back into the gemstone as the Pyramid Temple start glowing too and explodes, creating a massive crater and rubble all around as the Crystal Gems and Arthur emerged one by one from the strawberry bushes.
"Well, that was crazy," Saurus says while emerging from the strawberry bush in his Human Form as he held up the gemstone and Pearl and Amethyst looked worried for a bit before sighing in relief as Saurus casually hands it over to Garnet, who bubbles it away as Arthur smiled.
"Well, even with a few hiccups here and there, I say this mission was a success."
"Yeah, it was," Saurus says while sharing a smile with Garnet as Steven spots this and beamed excitedly, happy to see that it seems that his plan had worked and they are friends again.
"And I'd have to say that you handled that adventure very well, Steven," Pearl says as Amethyst nodded.
"Yeah, nice job, 'Serious Steven',"
"Although, I prefer regular, Steven," Garnet says as she handed Steven his ukulele.
"Hey, my ukulele!" A happy Steven exclaimed while reaching over to grab his ukulele as he tunes his ukulele and starts to sing. "Oh...that's the end of another day. It was mighty serious, I'd have to say. The Crystal Gems looked really cool when they made the temple explode~," Steven sang with the others watching this amusedly as they cheered, and while Steven was signing, Arthur can be seen walking away from the group as he pulled out a holographic alien-like communicator and called a certain someone.
"My Lady, I'm sorry to say that I wasn't able to recover the Gemstone, but I did meet the Crystal Gems and...I think I might be in." Arthur says with a smirk as Steven's signing rang out in the background.
