Episode 7 - Phobia Factor

Authors Notes

Another week, another episode is released! This week's episode was very fun to write, cause it's phobia time! Coming up with some of the campers' fears was a challenge, but I think I managed to make them all believable. I think this week's elimination will surprise you, but you'll have to see for yourself who gets voted off! :)

Reviewers,

Gucci Mane LaFlare : Lindsay leaving early was not an easy choice let me tell you. But I felt like I needed a surprise elimination to shake things up a bit, and I wanted Heather to actually have allies that got booted earlier. This gives her more of a legitimate reason to start friendships with other people instead of having plot armor. Also I did really consider having it rain, but nahhhh that's too easy :)

Zeke the Prophet : You'll have to wait and see who Heather chooses to get in her alliance with her! I'm glad you're liking Dave so far, I wanted to make him more grounded and less insane/obsessed. He's still gonna have his quirks, but he'll still actually want to win this competition.

amit : True the OG trio is still intact, but yeah no cussing out Heather anymore, which was one of my favorite moments of the canon season.

Shuffollower : Tyler surviving longer than Lindsay is rare for sure, but I think it opens a door for Tyler to have more motivation and angst towards Heather. Duncney will get their time to shine, don't you worry I haven't forgotten about them.

millikan : Yeah she left pretty early, but it was necessary. You'll have to wait and see who returns!

romeoaifesili : I really wanted to do a player switch at some point, and I felt like the earlier it happened, the better it would be for the storyline and other plots to move along. Also, I agree with your mini rant, I was not a fan of why they kicked off Tyler. It felt way too forced and lame for me. You'll have to read to see if this ends any differently! Lindsay leaving was hard! She is one of my favorite characters from the first generation! Don't worry, her boot wasn't in vain.

The Gophers still have the advantage in numbers for now, so onto the next chapter!

(Start Episode)

"Last time on Total Drama Island," Chris begins his usual recap and the series capstone theme starts to play, "our two teams were asked to survive one whole night in the woods." Shots of both teams walking in the woods towards their camp and setting up their tents pop up on screen as the host continues. "They both sent out search parties to find some food, and neither were very...successful. Chris laughs as Mike and Zoey are seen being chased by a grizzly bear, and the shot of Dave being chased by bees pops up next. "Somehow, Lindsay was able to make her way back to her camp along with Jasmine and Dave. Unfortunately Ella decided to summon a bear, and Lindsay gave everyone poisonous berries, getting half her team sick."

The Gophers can be seen climbing the oak tree by their tent, looking down in fear at the now eating grizzly, and eventually puking all over their campground and even the bear. "And even though Mike and Zoey got lost in the woods it was Brick's perseverance and Dawn's hint that helped the Bass find the missing duo and ultimately win the challenge." Jo and the other Bass can be seen already standing at the campfire pit, and the Gophers are seen glaring at Lindsay and Ella.

"After Lindsay got the boot for obvious reasons, Heather is already thinking about who her new ally will be. "That's cold sister." he laughs as Heathers confessional is put on screen, before quickly being replaced by the host, who sits in the confessional with a smile on his face. "Who's gonna board the boat of losers next? Find out right here on Total, Drama, Island!" Chris exclaims, the shot zooming out with every word, showing the whole island as the capstone theme ends.

The shot fades back into the fire, gently burning as it bathes the Screaming Gophers in an orange glow as they sit around the warm flame. The camera zooms in on Jasmine, who has an especially hard look of defeat on her face. "I can't believe we didn't win that challenge. It's all my fault for letting Lindsay go on her own." she sulks, and Courtney shoots her a consoling look.

"It's ok Jasmine, you didn't know it would end up like this, none of us blame you for how it ended up" she tells the tall girl.

"End up like what?" a voice in the distance can be heard saying. Courtney looks up and glares, as the Killer Bass walk towards the defeated Gophers, looking rather joyful after their tuck shop run. The Type-A stands up and meets Jo halfway, the jockette smirking down at the girl in front of her.

"What do you want? Here to rub it in that you won?" she says peeking around Jo to look at the other Bass members.

"I am, but they came for a different reason." Jo says, pointing to her teammates behind her.

"We actually ended up having some extra dessert after our tuck shop run." Brick calls out to her with a soft smile. "We thought you guys might like some." he finishes as he holds up a plate of green jello, a gummy worm suspended inside the green casing.

"Hey, where's Lindsay at? I don't see her with you guys." Tyler looks around at the teens sitting down, and they all look away out of guilt. "Guys, this isn't funny. Where'd she go? What happened?" he repeats, beginning to gain a worried look on his face as once again frantically looks around.

Jasmine sighs and turns towards Tyler. "We-"

"We got rid of her because she got us sick, and lost us the challenge." Heather interjects, looking upset with a still greenish complexion. Tyler gapes in shock, which quickly turns into anger. "You voted her off?! But she was your friend! How could you betray her?" He threw down his dessert and stormed over towards Heather. "She trusted you and you...you just tossed her to the side like trash!" His mouth blurs as he starts yelling out a string of curses, and his

DJ and Duncan quickly grabbed the jocks arms, holding him back as Heather scoffs. "I don't know what you're so mad at me for. She got six of us sick, and even if I had defended her, she still would've gotten the most votes. You really need to start thinking before you go crazy." she tells the boy, not even bothering to look up at him.

"I think that's enough honey." Duncan growls at the queen bee before turning back to a now tearful Tyler. "Come on dude, let's get you to your cabin." he says. Duncan and DJ walk past with a sobbing Tyler, while the Killer Bass watched the scene unfold with wide eyes.

"Whoa..that was heavy, eh." Ezekiel whispers to Mike who nods in agreement. They turn back around to see the equally shocked Gophers, and Courtney quickly regains her composure.

"Well, I think we'll take those desserts to lighten the mood now." she awkwardly calls out to Brick who shakes out of his stupor and goes to hand her the jello. Just as she reaches for it, a terrifying chord spikes. "NO!" she quickly says putting her hands up defensively. "I mean, no thanks. I'm good." she quickly tells the cadet as the camera cuts to Duncan and DJ, who had just come back from walking Tyler back.

"What's the matter princess? You on a diet or something?" he asks, hand waving in the air nonchalantly.

"No," the ex-CIT immediately corrected him. "I just don't like green jelly ok?" she angrily tells Duncan before crossing her arms and walking away.

Brick approaches DJ with the dessert and the music once again spiked dramatically.

"SNAAAAAAAKE!" the Brickhouse screams while flipping the green dessert onto the floor.

"Uhh, I think this is just a gummy worm, eh. Nothing to be too scared about." Ezekiel says, rubbing his chin. He holds up the candy in his hands, and DJ sighs.

"Sorry for tripping man, snakes just give me the creeps." he tells everyone, and the camera zooms out to show that Dave had walked over to stand next to him.

"At least you're not scared of mysterious stains in the dirty laundry." the germaphobe shudders. Duncan laughs at Dave's statement and puts a hand to his head.

"Mysterious stains? That's pretty lame man." he smirks at the boy who sighs.

"After DJ and Dave shared their mortal fears, everyone else finally opened up and shared as well, just as the universe intended us to do." Dawn said to the confessional camera. "Mike told us his fear of needles, Ezekiel mentioned his fear of crowds, and even Heather opened up on her fear of sumo wrestlers." the moonchild explained with a smile.

"I already knew everyone's fears from their auras, but hearing them admit them is a great way to break down those walls we put up." she finishes, putting her hands together and up towards her cheek.

The campers now sat in a U shape around the campfire, one by one sharing the thing that scared them the most. Dawn sat in the middle point on the curve, and continued the heartfelt sharing. "My biggest fear? Well that's simple; chainsaws. They tear down mother Earth's beautiful creations with their metal teeth! It's horrifying." she shudders as the camera pans over to the right, and Zoey begins.

"Flirty jocks scare me a lot. They just don't leave you alone!" she says with a large frown.

"I'm scared of hail. It's small but deadly dude." Geoff tells the group with a wary look in his eyes.

"I'm terrified of tight spaces, I feel like the walls are closing in on me." Jasmine tells the group with a frown.

"Th-the dark…" Brick says as he looks around nervously.

B motions with his hands before Dawn speaks up. "B is afraid of public speaking." she says as the large boy nods in agreement.

"I'm scared of my poor animal friends being caged up." Ella pipes up.

"Spiders freak me out. Nothing should have that many legs or be that ugly, except Samey." Amy tells the group.

"Well I'm not really scared of anything." Courtney tells the group with a cocky smile.

"Same here! I'm not scared of anything at all!" Jo says with a smirk. "Fear is for the weak."

"Baloney." Duncan coughs out, and they both give him an angry look.

"Oh really? Then what's your phobia Mr. Know-it-All?" she taunts as the delinquent gains a nervous look on his face. The camera pans around the group, and everyone is looking at Duncan, waiting for his response.

"S-Seline Dionne music store standees…" he mumbles.

"Hahahahaha! Ex-cuse me? I didn't hear that." Amy laughs at the now frowning teen.

"Did you seriously just say Seline Dionne music store standees?!" Jo says stifling laughter. "That's so lame dude! It's cardboard!"

"Shut up! Don't say it like that!" Duncan yells, covering his ears to drown out the laughter. "Alright, what's your phobia Jo?" he accusingly points at the jockette.

"I guess I'm scared of losing?" looking thoughtful before shrugging. "But definitely not something lame like dressing up all girly."

"Come on Courtney, you gotta be scared of something." Duncan says, looking at the brunette.

"Nope, nothing freaks me out at all." she says confidently putting her hands on her hips.

"That's not what you were saying when that bear came onto our campsite last night." he whispers to DJ and Geoff, who snicker at the boy's comment.

"Shut up Duncan!" Courtney yells.

/

The camera cuts to a morning shot of the main side of the island, and a sharp whistle can be heard as the camera quickly zooms in on the main lodge.

The shot cuts to show Chris standing in front of the remaining seventeen campers. "Campers, your next challenge is a little game I like to call, Phobia Factor! Prepare to face your worst fears!" He says raising his hands up in the air dramatically.

"Worse than this?!" Dave frowns holding up a hairy sausage.

"We're in big trouble." DJ gulps before looking back at the host.

"Now for our first victims," Chris says, now standing near the door and holding a white card. "Heather. Meet us all in the theater. It's sumo time!" he yells as Heather spits out the tea she was drinking right into Geoff's face.

"Dave, you me, a large pile of Chef's dirty laundry." Dave gasps before turning around and fainting.

"Wait, how do they know both of your worst fears?" Jasmine asks the Gopher table.

Dave groans as he gets back up before face palming. "Probably because we told them last night at the fire."

A flashback of the teens sitting around the fire and sharing their worst fears pops up on screen, before returning to a groaning Jasmine. "They were listening to us? Can't we get any privacy?"

"Chef Hatchet, didn't you have a surprise for Tyler?" Chris calls out to the cook as he hands the jock in question a cooked chicken, to which Tyler screams at in shock.

"Hey, how do you know mine? I wasn't even at the fire!" he yells.

"You're right, but we have cameras everywhere." Chris grins at the boy.

Another flashback is shown, this time of Tyler walking out of his cabin and back towards the bath house. Ominous music can be heard as he makes his way closer, when a chicken suddenly crosses his path to the bath house.

He freezes in his tracks, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead. The chicken turns towards him and as the music peaks, it clucks. Tyler screams and runs back towards his cabin, arms raised.

/

Both teams surround Dave as he stands near a large pile of disgusting laundry with several large stains spread within the pile. The camera pans over both teams as DJ looks at the large pile and pukes, and Brick passes out from the smell.

"Ok Dave, all you have to do is survive ten seconds in a massive pile of Chef's dirty clothes, which have tons of unknown stains on them." Chris tells the boy as a timer pops up in the top right corner.

Dave looks at the pile, eyes wide in fear, but he still steps up to the pile and jumps in,and his teammates look on as the timer slowly ticks down to zero. The normal boy resurfaces looking even more terrified than when he left, and the timer dings and a score of one shows up in the gophers logo.

"And somehow, Dave is the one to set the bar high. Really high. Didn't expect that from you bro." he puts a hand on the boy's shoulder, and he jumps in fear as he shivers continuously, teammates cheering for him after he survived.

/

Amontage begins, with a peppy whistling tune in the background. "I'm scared of my poor animal friends being caged up." Ella says in a princess is seen sitting in front of several cages, and animals can be seen walking around inside them. Ella gasps and rushes away from cages, tears welling in her eyes.

/

B is standing on the amphitheater stage, a script in hand, and Chris pushes him out onto center stage. "Just gotta say one line bro, one line in ten seconds."

B gulps and looks out to his team nervously, and back to his script in hand. He inhales and raises his hand and opens his mouth, but the timer goes off and he pouts.

/

Ezekiel is seen in the center of all the campers as they close in around him, surrounding the prairie boy. He starts to freak out and push people away from him when they get close.

/

"Spiders give me the creeps. Nothing should have that many legs or be that ugly." Amy recalls in her flashback. She is shown sitting down as the host dumps several spiders down onto her. After several seconds, she shrieks and starts to stomp on them with her heels. She squishes them all, and finally breathes a sigh of relief and the Bass get their first point on the board. "And Amy gets the Bass their first point, in a rather disturbing way." Chris comments.

/

"I'm terrified of tight spaces." Jasmine recalls in her flashback. The survivalist is shown walking alone in a cave, with only a flashlight in hand to provide light. Breathing fast, she starts to move at a more rapid pace through the cave. It starts to flicker, and eventually it goes out completely, and Jasmine starts to scream.

/

" Heather was able to step up to the plate and score the Gophers their second point." Chris voices over as Heather and a sumo wrestler are shown standing on the stage. The sumo charges at her and Heather curls up in fear as he gets closer and closer. But as the sumo reaches her, he trips over her curled up form, and starts to bounce down through the woods, bouncing off the trees as he goes.

/

Mike can be seen sitting down in what looks to be a medical tent, nervously watching for any sign of Chris or Chef. Zoey walks over to him and sits down next to him. "So how are you feeling?" she asks the laying down teen.

"As good as I can be," he shrugs, "I'm not sure how well I'll do when they actually arrive with needles though. I have to last ten minutes watching Chef inject liquid into a fruit or something."

Just as he finishes, Chef walks in in a nurse's outfit, carrying a large needle.

"You can't be in here girlie." He tells Zoey as he steps towards Mike.

"Wait, can I at least sit outside and talk to him?" she asks while looking at Mike who gives her a thankful smile.

"Fine, whatever. Just don't complain anymore." he grumbles as he closes the curtain and Zoey slumps down on the pole outside.

(Fade to commercial)

The shot opens back up with DJ standing on the stage, a glass case standing in front of him.

"Come on DJ! You got this man!" Duncan yells to the large teen. DJ looks back at the glass and an extremely small snake can be seen inside, smiling at him. "SNAAAAAKE!" DJ cries as his flashback is shown on screen.

It blinks once and DJ scrambles back, looking terrified. "It blinked at me!" he cries.

"That means it likes you mate!" Jasmine calls out to him. Courtney glowers before cupping her hands to her mouth.

"Come on DJ! It's just a snake! We need this point so SUCK IT UP!" she frowns deeply.

The camera focuses behind her frowning figure and her teammates can be seen shaking their heads at her in disappointment.

"What? We need to win this challenge. I'm not going back to loserville." she says looking back at her team.

DJ slowly grabs the snake out of the glass, and nervously stares at the reptile in his hands. He slowly reaches out to touch the snake, and he successfully does so, gaining a huge smile on his face.

His team cheers loudly as their score goes up to three, the Bass still with one point.

/

Zoey is seen still sitting outside the tent and Mike can be heard inside the tent calling out to her. "Zoey? Are you still there?" he calls out to the girl.

"Yeah Mike I'm still here." she replies, moving her finger through the dirt. "So why are you scared of needles?"

"It's a really long story, but I've been to so many doctors and hospitals, they freak me out even more. You'd figure it would be the other way around, but I never got used to them." he tells the indie girl as he's seen tied to a chair as Chef grins and puts a very large needle into a watermelon, and pushes down until it bursts.

"Why were you always at the hospital?" Zoey calls out to the spiky headed boy, her eyebrow raised in confusion.

"I don't know how to tell you just yet, but I promise I will. So stay here?" Mike says looking wide eyed at Chef as he laughs at the boy before grabbing another fruit.

"Don't worry Mike, I promise I won't leave you." Zoey smiles as a shadow can be seen growing behind her, and she turns around in surprise.

"Hey girl, did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" A boy with slicked back hair, blue varsity jacket, and black jeans calls out to Zoey, flashing her a bright white smile.

Zoey looks up and freezes in fear. "Uhhh I gotta go somewhere, like right now!" she quickly runs away and the jock runs after her.

"Zoey, hey Zoey are you still there?" Mike calls to her before Chef grabs a life size dummy, and starts to inject it with liquid in front of Mike. "Oh no…"

/

Chris can be seen with Dawn, as he brings her out to an open section of the forest. "So Dawn, you have to survive watching this lumberjack cut down three trees with a chainsaw." He motions to the flannel covered man who holds up a chainsaw and revs it up.

Dawn looks at the man, then back at Chris before gaining a terror look on her face. "I can't watch this happen! It goes against everything Mother Nature stands for!" She cries to the host as he begins to walk away.

"Then you better hide, cause those trees are coming down, and I don't wanna be in the way when they do." He calls back to her.

/

The camera pans up to show a cardboard woman in a red sparkling dress, blue eyeshadow adorned on her eyes, standing in a dramatic opera pose. The camera zooms back to show Duncan and Courtney looking at the cutout, one with fear, and one with a smile.

See, she's nice and she's pretty! It's not gonna hurt you." she tells the delinquent.

"Just one hug Duncan, and then you're done." Chris says with a snap of his fingers, and Duncan looks even more worried.

"I..I dont know, that looks really real." he says as he meets eyes with Courtney.

"She's made of cardboard! Get it together!" Heather calls as the Gophers who had finished their challenge watch the delinquent with interest.

"It's ok if you can't do it, we understand." the Type-A tells him, and grabs his hand in support. Duncan looks back with some surprise, but after seeing Courtney's reassuring smile, he gains a small smile himself.

"Okay, I'll try." he says looking back at the cardboard cutout and gaining a determined look. Triumphant music starts to play as Duncan runs towards the cutout, arms wide open in preparation to hug the figurine. He wraps his arms around the cardboard woman with his eyes clenched shut, and after a second, lets go with a smile plastered on his face.

"I-I did it!" Duncan cheers as his teammates rush him. Courtney runs over to him and pulls him in for a hug. "You did it Duncan! Way to go!" she says as she snuggles closer to him. She opens her eyes and quickly lets go of the boy and sheepishly smiles at him as the rest of the Gophers cheer. Their score goes up once again, bringing the score to four to two.

/

"The-the dark…" Brick recalls in his flashback. The cadet is thrust into a dark looking part of the main lodge's kitchen, while Chris and the rest of his team are standing on the other side of the doorway. "Good luck, eh! Just think of winning this challenge for comfort guy!" Ezekiel calls to the whimpering cadet, and Chris locks the door behind him. "Alright, now that Brick is locked in the pantry, it's time to check and see how things are going with Mike and Zoey."

/

The camera pans down to show the indie girl running along the dock, still attempting to escape the pursuing jock. "Hey cutie! Let me take you on a date!" the boy calls out as he continues to chase her.

"Leave me alone! You're freaking me out!" Zoey looks back and yells, as she reaches the end of the harbor, and looks back and forth between the approaching jock, and the lake behind her. She hesitates, but closes her eyes and jumps into the lake and the jock halts and looks over the water as Zoey resurfaces.

"Don't worry girl, I'll save you and then you owe me a date!" he calls out as he crouches down to jump into the lake. Zoey frantically looks around for something or someone to save her, before she perks up and looks back at the boy with a smirk.

"Hey! If you jump in, you'll get your hair wet and you'll look dumb!" she yells towards the jock. He pauses as he was about to jump in, and frowns as he puts his hands to his hair. "Wait, I'll look bad? I can't look bad, I have an image to uphold!" he cries before sulking and walking back down the dock dejectedly.

"And Zoey scores another point for the Gophers!" Chris says, appearing on the dock near the passing jock. The Bass' score dings and raises up to two, and Chris cringes as the sulking boy passes by him. "Things are looking well for Zoey, but not so much for our buddy Geoff."
/

"I'm scared of hail man, it's small but deadly dude." Geoff says in his flashback. He is shown leaning back in a beach chair, adjusts his cowboy hat, and puts his arms behind his head as he closes his eyes.

He lies in his seat comfortably, unaware of a shadow approaching the party boy. THe camera cuts to the sun sitting in the sky, as a thundercloud slowly covers it up. Geoff opens his eyes as thunder rumbles overhead, and the raincloud sits above the teen. It rumbles once more, and starts pouring down hail onto Geoff, and he screams as he covers his head and runs around, attempting to escape the icy pelting.

A green dot can be seen popping on and off of a blue screen, and the camera zooms out to show the blip moving along the screen of a controller-like device, with someone's hand moving the joystick around. The hand is revealed to be none other that Chris's, and the controller is what makes the cloud move and pelt hail onto Geoff.

"Are you controlling that cloud?" Zoey asks as she pops up behind the host, curiously watching him attack the party boy.

"Oh yeah, and I can make it pelt even harder on him if I want." Chris grins as he pushes the joystick down and Geoff screams even louder as he is seen running past both Zoey and Chris, the cloud covering most of his body.

"Watch this, I can make it feel like needles are hitting him instead!" he says as he presses a button on the remote.

"Needles...wait a minute... MIKE!" she gasps and quickly runs off to rejoin the spiky haired teen.

/

Mike is struggling to break free from his restraints, as Chef continues to inject the dummy full of liquid. "Chef, thats enough! You're starting to freak me out more than the needles are!" Mike says before gasping and squinting one eye.

"Back in my day, at least they gave us something to relax as we watched torture!" Chester says looking at Chef with a frustrated glare.

"I say when we're done string bean!" Chef yells at the teen before continuing. Just as he grabs another needle, Zoey burst through the door and tackles the large cook.

"Chef that's enough, he's lasted the ten minutes he needed to!" Chris yells to the now angry Chef. The cook grunts before rolling his eyes and packing up his things. "I don't get paid enough for this." he grumbles on his way out.

The Bass' score dings again and they bring it to four to three. A loud crashing can be heard in the woods behind the tent, and Mike and Zoey poke their heads out of the tent in wonder.

"What was that noise?" Mike asks as the host pokes his head out as well.

"My guess is that Dawn is done with her challenge, and who knows if she actually stayed." he tells the two teens.

The camera cuts to Dawn, who fell to her knees as she watched the lumberjack cut down the trees. "Oh Mother Earth, please forgive my lack of action to stop this massacre." the moonchild whispers as she clenches her hands together and a tear falls down her face. The score dings and both teams are tied at four apiece.

/

Jasmine is shown running through the other end of her cave, arms raised in the air, and the Gophers score jumps up to five. She breathes a sigh of relief as she sits down under a tree to catch her breath and calm down.

/

The timer runs down on Ezekiel as he emerges from the crowd gasping for air, and shivering in fear. His teammates cheer as their score goes up to five, edging out the Gophers by one.

/

Tyler is seen leaning on the fence of a chicken coop, looking confident as can be.

"I can't forgive Heather for getting rid of Lindsay so easily. I mean she was her best friend!" the jock throws his arms up in frustration. "I have to win this for our team to make it up for Lindsay."

"Alright gang, we're in the ninth inning." Chris tells everyone. "Tyler, your challenge is to get into this pen for three minutes with these chickens." the host says as he lifts a lid off of a basket, and three chickens pop out.

"You got this Tyler!" Brick calls out to the boy, and Tyler looks back at the chickens. He immediately loses his confident smile and gains a very frightened face. "I-I can do this.." he says as the timer continues to run down. He walks towards the chickens and reaches a shaky hand towards the bird. He pets the bird with a nervous hand, and the timer immediately turns to zero, and the Bass cheer as their score reaches six.

"Alright, only two more challenges to determine the winner of today's challenge." the host calls out to the two teams.

"Wait, how? It can't be me or Jo, we both said we don't have any real fears!" Courtney tells Chris, as Jo stands by her. She nods in agreement before voicing her opinion. "Plus, it doesn't matter even if we both do something, we'd still win!" the jockette tells the host.

"Well, unfortunately for you both, we do know what your fears are. We're always watching, and how you react to certain things. I can also help entice you both to compete." he says as a flashback begins.

"Ahh! I mean no thanks, I just don't like green jelly." Courtney says to Duncan.

"I'm probably scared of losing? Not something lame like dressing all girly." Jo says in her flashback. And it cuts back to the smiling host.

"Let's make things interesting, shall we?" Chris says as he walks towards a large wooden pool. "I'll give whoever successfully completes their challenge double their teams points." both teams gasp and Jo and Courtney sigh. "So, Courtney, you'll have to jump into this pool full of green jelly." he motions towards the pool, a large ladder leading to a diving board. Courtney gulps as the host continues.

"Jo, you get to dress up as, a princess!" he happily says. Jo gasps in mortal terror as a dreamy theme starts to play and a bright yellow princess dress appears behind an orange background.

"No, no way am I putting that thing on." Jo says, and her team gets a nervous look on their faces.

"Well I'll go for it." Courtney says, as she walks towards the ladder, and gulps as she starts to climb up.

"You got this Courtney!" Duncan cheers for her as she continues to climb.

"Oh I bet the jelly must be warm and gooey, like snot!" Amy trolls her team as she looks at the jello in disgust.

"You're not gonna psych me out!" Courtney yells down as she finally makes it to the top, and walks over to the edge and peers over.

"Like you said, it's ok if you can't do it!" Duncan calls up to her once more and Jasmine raises an eyebrow. "No it's not." she mumbles.

Courtney looks down at the awaiting jello once more, and Amy's words ring in her head. She gains a deep frown, and sighs deeply. "I-I just can't do it. I'm coming down!" she whimpers, climbing back down the ladder.

"And that's it! In a very anticlimactic conclusion, the Killer Bass win with a score of six to five!" Chris announces as Courtney walks back to her team, ashamed of her loss.

"The Killer Bass win immunity this week. Gophers, I'll see you once again at the fire tonight." the host finishes.

/

The shot starts with a full view of the island at night, and slowly zooms in onto the campfire pit, and the dramatic tune accompanying every ceremony. The shot pans down to reveal two remaining marshmallows, and three remaining campers in B, Geoff, and Courtney. "Campers, there are only two marshmallows on this plate. The three of you didn't complete your challenges tonight." Chris says as the camera zooms in in the three remaining teens.

"One of you is going home tonight, and cannot come back...ever. The next name im gonna call…" Chris pauses for dramatic effect. "is….Geoff." Geoff sighs in relief and walks up to grab his marshmallow.

"The final marshmallow of the night goes to...Courtney." Chris says as the music peaks. Courtney smiles and goes up to get her prize.

B frowns and slumps his shoulders, as he gets up to walk towards the boat of losers. "Sorry B, it was a close vote, but we'll miss you mate." Jasmine says, putting an arm on his shoulder. The silent genius nods and gives the australian a smile before heading down the dock of shame, and boards the boat of losers.

"Sorry B, but I'm in this game to win." Courtney smiles as she holds the voting box, and pops it open with a screwdriver, and switches out some votes with her own. "I won't go home because of some stupid green jelly. If that means I have to use my trump card, I WILL." She says, gaining a small but evil smirk. "You better not tell Duncan about this, he'll never let it go."

So instead of Courtney getting the boot from Harold switching the votes, Courtney kicks out B by switching the votes! I thought that was a nice twist on her elimination in canon, without having her be booted off with the same strategy. Since Courtney and B were the two main reasons that the Gophers lost the challenge, everyone was going to vote for either of the two. Obviously Duncan sided with Courtney and voted off B, but a lot of the others would have more than likely voted off Courtney for not winning them the challenge with such an obvious victory standing in front of them. Since no one knew who anyone was voting for besides Duncan, Courtney switching votes for insurance makes sense here, especially with this many people so it's easier to cover up. B was the only other member of the Gophers who felt like a reasonable substitute at this point in the story, so sorry for you B fans out there. Duncan and Courtney got their canon development episode, which I think was very much needed for future plot. Plus, Mike and Zoey got some more time together. I thought having Mike's fear being connected to his disorder, and I felt needles were a valid choice, as I'm terrified of them as well. XD

I hope that their fears felt valid, as I had to come up with some on the spot, like Zoey, Ella, and Ezekiel to name a few. It was hard to keep transitioning back and forth as well, but I did the best I could. Anyways, I look forward to hearing from you all, and ill see you next week!
