15. So Many Birthdays!

Hey, guys. Welcome to the next Jurassic Universe Chapter. I hope that you guys will enjoy the new chapter...anyway, I don't own anything except for my OCs, as the OC Arthur Galaxy belongs entirely to my friend 9655.

NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!

"Wow, I can't believe that this is my first time inside of the Crystal Temple...AND IT STINKS LIKE FUCKING HELL!" Saurus screamed with a glare while covering his sensitive nose as we see him and the others walking through Amethyst's Room in the Crystal Temple as it was located at the bottom of the waterfall that begins in Pearl's Room, and the whole room was filled with millions of piles of junk as Amethyst's Room has geodes and some grass tiles as well as some puddles that can lead to the other rooms in the Crystal Temple.

"Seriously, how can you live like this?!" An incredulous Pearl asked Amethyst sternly while they walked through the piles of random junk in her room in search of an object causing the foul odor throughout the temple.

"It was fine 'til you guys all started whining," Amethyst says while rolling her eyes with a scoff as the Human/Gem Teenage Hybrid turned to glare at her.

"Whining?! The whole temple reeks!" Arthur screamed as the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Hybrid nodded vigorously with an annoyed scowl on his face.

"Yeah, the smell got so bad that it was able to somehow go through the Temple Door and cover the whole Beach House! The Crystal Temple is placed in a Pocket Dimension! How is that even possible?!" Saurus asked in exasperation with a glare while throwing up his arms in exasperation as Steven, who had shapeshifted himself into a dog, ran forward as he looked around, and took a big sniff as Steven gagged and shapeshifted himself back into his Default Form as he walked over to bend down and reached over to grab something wrapped in tinfoil.

"Guys, over here! I found it!" Steven yelled while holding out the foul-smelling tinfoil wrapper as Pearl, Saurus, and Arthur walked over to them as they covered their noses.

"What matter of magical alloy is this?" Pearl asked just as Steven unwraps the tinfoil as a puff of green gas plumes out, and it caused Steven, Pearl, and Arthur to recoil in disgust with Saurus growing green as he took a couple of steps back and kneeled down into the ground as the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Hybrid coughs loudly with his face green in disgust and shock.

"It's a burrito," Garnet stated bluntly as Amethyst perked up excitedly and walked over to grab the visibly rotten burrito as a frantic Pearl pulled out some hand sanitizer from her gem and splashed the whole bottle into Steven's hand as Pink Diamond's Pearl began vigorously scrubbing his hands to make sure that her Baby Boy doesn't catch any diseases or viruses from the expired burrito.

"Oh, God, I'm glad that Blue is not here or else that would've killed her." Saurus says with a moan, remembering having Jenny babysit Blue for the weekend as his Friend had told him that she needed some much-needed 'Girl Time'.

"Hey, it's the Tuna Burrito from Aqua-Mexican," Amethyst says with a nostalgic smile as the Human/Gem Hybrid Child gave the Earth Prime Kindergarden-Made Gem an aghast look.

"That place closed like five years ago," A stunned Steven says with his jaw dropped and held his stomach as Amethyst stared at him quietly and smiled mischievously as the Overcooked Amethyst Quartz Soldier takes a big bite of the burrito and eats it with a big cocky smirk on her face as Steven and Arthur flinch in disgust while Saurus and Pearl look on in horror as the Human/Boy Gem Child Hybrid glanced away and then perked up in shock at the sight of an old painting of the Crystal Gems.

"Huh, what's this?" Steven asked curiously while spotting an old painting of the Crystal Gems wearing all timey-clothing as they resided inside of a giant ship named 'The Titanic' with a grinning Rose using her Superhuman Strength to toss Amethyst over to an iceberg and was able to shatter it apart with her flaming spindash as Garnet can be seen using her flight and ice powers to fix up a large hole on the side of the ship as an annoyed Pearl could be seen using her Shapeshifting Powers to stretch down her arms and grabbed a couple of people named 'Jack' and 'Rose' as they had fallen off from the Titanic accidentally and were riding around on a door, although Jack was close to sacrificing himself due to saying that there wasn't enough room on the door as a glaring Pearl scolded the idiot and told him that if Rose merely scoot the side, there would've been more than enough room for the both of them. "It kinda looks like you guys and my mom."

"Oh, Steven, that is us." An excited and smiling Pearl says with a nostalgic look on her face as the Human/Dinosaur Male Hybrid and the Human/Gem Hybrid gave her a surprised look.

"Seriously?!" A stunned Arthur asked as Garnet nodded while placing her hands on her hips.

"It took us forever for Rose to be able to toss Amethyst at just the right angle to get a cool action shot for the photo," Garnet says while rolling her eyes a bit as Pearl then shakes her head and crossed her arms as she huffed.

"I swear, I was so happy that they fired that incompetent Sea Captain. He can't see a giant iceberg coming their way when it could've been seen from miles and miles away? Humans, I swear." Pearl says with an annoyed tone and rolled her eyes.

"Whoa! So you Guys were the ones that saved the Titanic?! That was sick!" Saurus praised, remembering hearing about the Mysterious Heroes that saved the Titanic a century or so ago as he couldn't believe that it was the Crystal Gems who did it.

"Hey, so why is everyone dressed like old-timey people?" Steven asked curiously while pointing at the old painting as Pearl walked over to bend down and grab it.

"They are old-timey people," Pearl says while placing the old painting on top of a junk pile as Steven gave her a shocked look.

"Wait...but that would mean...how OLD are you guys?"

"I'm 5,100-years-old," Amethyst says with a smirk and a shrug.

"I'm 5,749-years-old," Garnet stated stoically with crossed arms.

"And I'm 7,500-years-old," Pearl says with a warm smile as the Human/Dinosaur Male Hybrid and the Human/Gem Hybrid's jaws dropped in pure surprise and amazement as they all gained starry eyes.

"Whoa...I mean, I know that Amethyst must've been the youngest in the group, but I'm genuinely surprised that Pearl is the oldest." Saurus commented with a hum as Arthur nodded in agreement while crossing his arms.

"And it makes sense that you guys are immortal since your bodies are made of light, which means that none of you can age physically, only mentally," Arthur says as Pearl nodded with a small smile on her face.

"Exactly," Pearl says while giving him a thumbs up as Steven gasped sharply and stared at her with starry eyes.

"Does that mean you'll live forever?!" Steven asked excitedly as Pearl chuckled amusedly and held out her hand as she shakes her head.

"No, no. We don't age, but we can still get hurt and get shattered." Pearl explained casually as Steven's smile quickly turns into a big disappointed, and sad frown as he then flinched in surprise when Amethyst then starts moaning in pain, looking visibly sickened as she keels onto the ground. "But not from food poisoning."

"Yeah, Amethyst, we know that you didn't Shapeshift to gain a stomach yet, so you can stop pretending," Saurus says with a stern glare as Amethyst pouted and stopped pretending to be sick as she glared at him in annoyance.

"You are no fun, Saurus," Amethyst says with a huff while flipping him off as a grinning Saurus did the same.

"Wow, I just can't believe you guys are like a bazillion years old. How do you find a cake big enough for all those candles?" Steven asked curiously as the Crystal Gems briefly looked confused before realizing what he said as they shared an awkward look and turned back to Steven,

"We don't really celebrate birthdays," Garnet says as Steven went wide-eyed in shock and gasped overdramatically.

"Why not?!" Steven asked as Pearl raised her arms in a way that means, 'Sorry, I don't know what to tell you. It is what it is, Steven'.

"We don't have birthdays, or at least we don't know when it is," Pearl says sheepishly as Amethyst nodded.

"Yep. That kind of thing happens when you're immortal." Amethyst says with a casual shrug as she dug her finger into her nose and scratched her ass.

"Makes sense, really," Arthur says with a nod while placing his hands on his hips.

"Yeah, sorry, Steven but celebrating birthdays isn't our thing," Garnet says with an apologetic tone as Steven's jaw dropped before blinking in surprise as it was only now that he realized that, in all of the time that he had known them, they never really celebrated any type of birthday in the past. Sure, the Crystal Gems did help out his Dad with setting up for his birthdays, giving him presents, attending said parties, and playing with him, but Steven had never seen them throwing a birthday party for themselves.

"I can relate to that since I don't throw birthday parties for myself as well," Saurus says while nodding in understanding as Steven and even the Crystal Gems gave him a shocked look.

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! You don't celebrate birthdays too!?" Steven asked as Saurus nodded with a shrug.

"Yeah, I mean, I don't want to be reminded of the day that I was born." Saurus says quietly with a sweatdrop on his head.

"Why?" Arthur asked with a raised eyebrow as Saurus frowned nervously and crossed his arms as he looked away.

"I...I just don't." Saurus says ominously, leaving the Crystal Gems worried and awkward as they gave the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Hybrid sympathetic looks.

"Well...uh...I can't just ignore this travesty of injustice! I pledge that you will have your birthdays! With all the candy, cake, and ice cream you've been denied!" Steven screamed with a determined glare on his face as Saurus groaned and facepalmed.

"Ugh, this is going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong day..." Saurus says as Arthur went over to pat his back while being thankful that he doesn't have to suffer any of Steven's Birthday Shenanigans since he already celebrated tons of birthdays in the past.

Standing in a large red colorful background with millions of glowing stars, we see a stoic Garnet lifting up her glasses to wink at the readers slyly with her Dual Germstones glowing brightly as Arthur stood beside her and grinned slyly as the 18-year-old Man lifted up his right arm to show off his glowing Gemstone and we then see a pair of smirking Pearl and Amethyst riding around on Blue's back with their Gemstones glowing brightly and the 10-year-old Female Hybrid Child was transformed into her Full Dinosaur Form as a roaring Saurus suddenly dropped down from the sky and landed in front of the Crystal Gems in his Full Dinosaur Form with Steven riding on his back and his Gemstone glowed brightly as they all struct a heroic pose.

And if you think we can't,

We'll always find a way!

After warping themselves into the other side of the planet, the Crystal Gems can be seen glaring at a hoard of Corrupted Gems, Evil Dinosaurs, and Jasper and Peridot as Garnet swiftly summoned her Gauntlets while Pearl summoned her spear as Amethyst pulled out her whip, Steven summoned his Shield, Saurus transformed into his True Dinosaur Form, Arthur summoned his spiked gauntlets, and Blue transformed into her Full Dinosaur Form as the Crystal Gems then mounted onto Saurus's back and charged forward at high speeds as they all let out a loud battle cry.

That's why the people of this world

Always believe in...

Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Arthur, and Blue...and Saurus and Steven!

After defeating their powerful foes and saving the Planet Earth, the Crystal Gems decided to head back to Beach City as, after warping themselves near their Hometown, a roaring Saurus ran down the streets of Beach City, alarming Lars and Sadie, surprising the Pizza Family, impressing the Cool Kids, and caused a visiting Connie to gasp in awe as the Gang was able to arrive at their home, and the Crystal Gems got off Saurus's dinosaur back as he transformed back into his Human Form just as Greg drove up to them as he got out of the vehicle and placed a grill in front of them to grill up some victory Hot Dogs as a smiling Saurus rubbed a giggling Steven's head proudly.

~[Amethyst's Birthday Party]~

Two hours later, we cue over to the outside of the Crystal Temple Beach House as we see several birthday decorations being set up, which include a picnic mat with food items, a birthday cake with lots of burning candles, balloons, and a large 'Birthday Throne' with Amethyst sitting on the throne while wearing a long red cape that reaches down to her legs and has poofy white collar/edges as Saurus, Pearl, Garnet, and Arthur can be seen sitting on folding chairs as Lion and Tiger were playing around with each other in the background.

"And the birthday queen is Amethyst!" A beaming Steven says while walking up behind Amethyst as he placed a big red/golden crown on top of her head.

"Yeah, I'm a Queen, bitch! Bow in my presence! I'm the Birthday Queen!" Amethyst cheered while standing up from her throne and throws up her arms as she laughed evilly with Steven laughing joyfully, Saurus smirking amusedly, Arthur rolling his eyes playfully, Pearl looking annoyed, and Garnet was feeling a bit jealous as Lion and Tiger were distracted doing their own thing.

"So, I have to ask, Steven, what's with that getup?" Saurus asked with a raised eyebrow as Steven turned to smile at the Human/Dinosaur Teenager.

"Well, every year on my birthday, Dad allows me to wear this getup that he made for me ever since I was a baby, and it brings me special birthday luck every year," Steven explained as Saurus nodded in understanding.

"I will admit, his Birthday Suit is adorable," Pearl says with a giggle and a smile as the Human/Teenage Male Hybrid's nose crinkled in disgust at what she said.

"Yeah, you have to find a better way to rephrase that," Arthur says with a wince as the Leader of the Crystal Gems nodded in agreement.

"You really do," Garnet stated bluntly with crossed arms as Pearl looked briefly confused by what they said...until she blushed in embarrassment upon realizing what she said and looked away sheepishly as a smiling Steven pulled out a microphone and took a couple of steps back as the Human/Gem Child Hybrid smiled widely.

"It might as well be your birthday, so why don't we have a party? Even if your age isn't real, and your body's an illusion-Hey!" Steven sang before yelping in surprise as Lion ran past him and could be seen playing with a party hat as he frowned at this. "No, Lion. That's not a toy. It's a hat. You are supposed to wear it like this." Steven says while walking over to carefully place the party hat on Lion's head, only for his Magical Pet to shake it off as Steven gave him a stern glare. "Lion, you're killing me," Steven says as Tiger walked over to Arthur with said person putting a party hat on him as he purred.

"Um, Steven? I know you put a lot of effort into...putting faces on things, but could it be that we're just a tad mature for this ritual?" Pearl asked Steven with an awkward smile on her face while holding up a balloon with a face drawn on it as Amethyst appeared out of nowhere and could be seen using a birthday hat to simulate Pearl's nose as she pokes Pearl's nose with it.

"Boop."

"GAH! YOU WILL REMOVE THAT HAT THIS INSTANT!" An angry Pearl screamed while getting up from her chair as she chased after a laughing Amethyst with Arthur chuckling a bit as he rubbed Tiger's head.

"Alright, now this is a party," Saurus says with a laugh while leaning back against his chair as a panicking Steven ran over to them and could be seen holding a metal bat with a pink ribbon on it.

"Wait! Here!" Steven yelled while offering Amethyst the metal bat as she perked up.

"Awww, thanks, Stevie! I'll use it all the time!" Amethyst says with a mischievous smirk on her face as she reached over to grab the bat and attempts to hit Pearl with it, but a frantic Steven immediately stops her.

"No! It's for the piñata! Bring it in, Saurus!" Steven yelled as Saurus sighs heavily but nodded as he stood up from his chair and walked off as, a few minutes later, Saurus returned back while holding onto a piñata on a stick as Steven walked over to blindfold Amethyst with a white band. "Alright, Amethyst, let it rip." Steven says with a smile...but then flinched in surprise as Amethyst rushed over to swing wildly at the piñata, nearly hitting a worried Saurus as he swiftly changed into his Full Dinosaur Form just as a grinning Amethyst continued to swing her metal bat forward and began hitting all across Saurus's body before swinging her metal bat upwards as she ended up smacking Saurus below the belt, causing a surprised Steven and Arthur to wince in sympathy and Pearl gasped in shock while Garnet raised her glasses as Saurus remained unfazed by the onslaught due to the metal bat bending in half upon collision with Saurus's crotch.

"Am I getting close?!" Amethyst asked while raising her blindfold as she was surprised to see what happened to the metal belt and where she hit as the Crystal Gem slowly blinked in shock. "Damn, Saurus, are your balls made of steel or something? How did you survive that?"

"I've been hit worse. Plus, I'm stronger than I look." Saurus says with a shrug, mentally thanking his Superhuman Durability to protect his balls, as Amethyst nodded before taking a good look at the piñata as she smirked slyly and dropped her bent metal bat while swiftly shapeshifting herself into Purple Puma as she also morphed her left arm into a bat and lets out a loud battle cry as Amethyst swung her makeshift weapon over to slam it against the piñata and was able to smack it hard enough that it flew over to land deep into the ocean with her Superhuman Strength.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, that was fun. What's next, Little Stevie?" An excited Amethyst asked casually as Steven sweated nervously.

"...Well...you were supposed to get delicious candy when you broke it open..." Steven says awkwardly with a big sweatdrop on his head.

"Wait, you had candy, and you didn't just give it to us?" A shocked Amethyst asked while gasping sadly as she went tear-eyed.

"There will be more sweet treats at Pearl's party. I promise." Steven says reassuringly with a stifling Amethyst nodding as Saurus morphed back into his Human Form.

~[Pearl's Birthday Party]~

"Happy birthday, Pearl! Honk! Honk!" A smiling Steven says as we fast forward in time, and we see the Crystal Gems sitting on a picnic blanket placed on a cliff overlooking Beach City with Pearl now wearing the Birthday Outfit as Steven can be seen wearing a rainbow- afro wig, white makeup with a fake rubber nose and pink lips, one of his Father's white tanktops that reach down to his legs and exposes his Gem, and his normal pants and his sandals.

"Steven, that is a brave look." Amethyst complimented as Garnet gave him a thumbs up.

"More like a funny look," Saurus says with a chuckle as Steven perked up and nodded while pointing at the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Male Hybrid.

"Yes, funny, exactly," Steven says with a nod as Arthur smirks amusedly while leaning back against a tree as the Human/Gem Teenage Male Hybrid propped up his feet on top of the empty picnic basket.

"Be careful, Steven, you might scare kids by accident and be mistaken for a certain evil dancing clown," Arthur says with a snort and a small laugh while sharing a fist bump with Saurus for the epic scary movie reference as Rose's One-Sided Lover frowned subtly and shakes her head.

"I never understood why Humans find Clowns to be funny," Pearl says with an irritated huff as the Human/Dinosaur Hybrid nodded in agreement while crossing his arms.

"Not gonna lie, I'm kind of on Pearl's side here. I never found Clowns to be funny, either. Just either disgusting, lame, or pathetic." Saurus says with a shrug as Steven pouted at Pink Diamond's Pearl and the 16-year-old Experiment Hybrid.

"Oh, come on, guys, don't be such spoilsports. I even wrote some jokes for us." Steven says while reaching into his back to pull out a pile of papers filled with jokes. "Now, why did Pearl throw butter out the window?" Steven asked with a wide grin, preparing a joke as the Crystal Gems looked confused by what he said.

"Wait, you did what?" A bewildered Amethyst asked while turning to a shocked Pearl as she shrugged at her.

"To see a butter-fly!" Steven yelled as Arthur laughed.

"You did what?" A chuckling Amethyst asked Pearl, who blushed in embarrassment as she waved her hands around panickedly.

"Hey! I never did that! Steven, are you telling lies?!" A saddened and betrayed Pearl asked as Saurus rolled his eyes playfully and turned to her.

"Steven is trying to tell a joke, Pearl," Saurus explained as Pearl slowly blinked.

"Oh...got it." A sheepish Pearl says with an awkward nod as Steven frowned discouragingly and glanced down at his stack of papers nervously as he then tossed them away.

"A-Anyway, Pearl, do you like pie?" Steven asked Pearl, who shakes her head as she crossed her arms.

"Well, I hate eating, but I do like the process of cooking. Like whenever I make food for you and the boys." Pearl says with a warm smile as Steven faltered a bit before perking up as he walked over to a picnic basket and opened up as the Human/Gem Hybrid Child reach in to pull out a pie.

"Well then, in that case, I might as well save this delicious-looking pie for the others," Steven says as Pearl nodded.

"That sounds nice," Pearl commented as Saurus and Arthur immediately realized what was going to happen and laid back as the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Hybrid and the Human/Gem Teenage Hybrid smirked amusedly.

"I sure hope nothing happens to it~,"

"Yes, me too." An oblivious Pearl says as Steven giggled to himself mischievously before pretending to yelp in surprise as he intentionally trips and fell forward as Steven was about to fall face-first into his pie, only for a gasping and worried Pearl to use her shapeshifting powers to stretch her arms over to grab Steven by his waist and helps him stand up.

"Whoa, Steven, be careful. You almost fell right on that-Ah!" Pearl scolded before screaming in shock and confusion as Steven shoves the pie in his own face.

"See, Pearl? It's funnnnnnnnny!" A joyful Steven says with a laugh, and his face was covered in pie cream as Saurus and Arthur laughed while a nervous Pearl shapeshifted herself into a Mouse and turned around to run over to Garnet as she climbed up her body and appeared on her shoulder as a scared Pearl whispered something to her Leader.

"Pearl says she's all partied out, and she's ready to go home," Garnet stated bluntly as Steven frowned disappointedly and turned around as he tossed away the pie tin and takes off his wig.

"Hmmm, this isn't going at all like it should. I've got to pull out the ultimate birthday."

~[Saurus' Birthday Party]~

"Ta-da!" Steven exclaimed excitedly while he and the others stood on the beach near the Beach City Boardwalk with a huge green bouncy house placed before them as Saurus can be seen wearing the Birthday Suit, and the Crystal Gems stood behind them as Pearl morphed back into her Default Form earlier.

"Uh...what's this?" Saurus asked in bewilderment, legitimately never seeing a bouncy house before as Steven turned to smile at him.

"It's a bouncy house. You go in and jump around."

"...Why?" Saurus asked with a raised eyebrow as Steven beamed at him happily

"It's fun. Come on, let's go and try it." Steven says while taking off his sandals as he went into the green Bouncy House and began bouncing around, laughing childishly as he did so as Saurus pursed his lips...but shrugged as he took off his sandals as well and made his way into the bouncy house as the Alien and Jurassic Hybrids began bouncing around together with Saurus actually looking like he was having fun as he laughed and was about to continue bouncing, but then-

"Awwwww, look at Saurus playing around with Steven." A familiar voice rang out as Saurus flinched, and he and Steven stopped bouncing as they glanced up to see the Cool Kids walking on the boardwalk with Blue riding around on Buck's shoulders. "That is so adorable." Jenny cooed as Buck turned to glance down at Saurus with an emotionless look on his face.

"...Heh, bouncy castles. Isn't that kid stuff?" Buck teased as a laughing Jenny punched his shoulder playfully and scoldingly.

"Oh, come on, Buck, stop teasing. Just let Saurus play with Steven. Also, good outfit there, Saurus." Jenny says with a wink and a giggle.

"Yeah, man, rocking that King Look." Sour Cream says with a nod while having Raddishes ride around on his shoulders as she and Blue were licking a couple of red/blue snowcones in their hands.

A sly Raddishes rambled with a teasing tone as Blue giggles and nodded in agreement before glancing down at the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Hybrid as she smiled down at her Older Brother warmly.

"Bye bye, Big Brother!" Blue yelled while waving at them goodbye as the Cool Kids then walked off, and Saurus blushed in embarrassment as he got out of the bouncy castle, and strangely enough, even Steven was left embarrassed by what the Cool Kids said as he looked around with a subtle frown on his face.

~[Garnet's Birthday Party]~

"Alright, so maybe this Birthday Party will be fun for all of us," Steven says with a forced smile, not sounding as enthusiastic as he did before as we see the Crystal Gems residing in the Big Donut's empty parking lot with Garnet wearing the Birthday Outfit as a bunch of small kiddie cars placed in front of them. "This is Kazoo Racers. You guys have never seen this, but after all of my Birthday Parties, Dad has me get into one of these cars, drive around, and play a kazoo. What more could you want?" Steven asked while blowing into a kazoo as he held up five more kazoos.

"...Yeah, I'm out," Saurus stated bluntly while turning around to try and walk away, only for Garnet to reach out and grab his head to prevent him from leaving as she then lets go of him and walked over to bend down to Steven's eye level.

"Steven, we want to thank you for all of the effort that you had put in on all of our birthday parties, but I don't think we'll need anymore," Garnet says with a gentle yet firm tone as Steven gave her a surprised look.

"Why not?" Steven asked with a pout as Garnet takes off her birthday crown.

"Our age is only an illusion, and Pearl's pretty sure this ritual is more for Human Children," Garnet says with Pearl nodding in agreement as she then gave the Human/Gem Hybrid Child a sheepish smile.

"Nothing against children." A guilty Pearl says as a stunned Steven turned to Saurus.

"Do you feel the same way, Saurus?" Steven asked as Saurus bit his lip nervously before sighing heavily as the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Boy nodded.

"Yeah, sorry, Steven, I tried to keep an open mind, but all of these parties are just...embarrassing. No offense, I'm sure that you loved them, but...Steven, I'm like sixteen years old and the Crystal Gems are older than all of the Human Race combined. We are just too old for Birthday Parties." Saurus says with a shrug, not especially bothered by this, but Steven was as he frowned and throws up his arms in exasperation.

"Too old for Birthday Parties? But everyone gets to have birthdays. Seriously, give it a try. You're never too old." Steven says stubbornly, not wanting to give up on giving his Friends' Birthday Parties so quickly as he went over to try and get into one of the kiddie cars but failed to do so because of his large size. "Errr...uh...this is a lot smaller than I remember..."

"Wait, hold on, I know of a way where we can all fit in," Amethyst says with a grin while shapeshifting herself into a Purple Baby as she walked over to sit in a small kiddie jeep. "Which way to the baby war? EAT TREAD, DIRT BAGS!" Amethyst says with a maniacal laugh while driving around crazily as a slightly panicking Steven got out of his kiddie car.

"I just don't get it, why isn't all of my Birthday Parties working?" Steven asked while gripping his head in confusion and misery as Arthur walked over to then bend down to his eye level as the Human/Gem Teenage Hybrid gave him a serious frown.

"Because maybe all of your Birthday Party' ideas are kind of too childish? Look, Steven, birthdays are for all ages, but things that happen on birthdays change as everyone gets older." Arthur says wisely as Steven hums in thought.

"Hmmm, I'm not so sure about that yet, Arthur, so why don't I study the old Family Albums to see where I went wrong? Pearl, can you please." Steven says while turning to Pearl, who nodded, and her Gemstone glowed brightly as she summoned a large pink/blue book named 'Steven Quartz Universe's Family Book' with a large star symbol on the front.

"What's that?" Saurus asked curiously as Steven walked over to grab the book.

"This is a book that Mom and Dad made for me to document my life before I was born," Steven explained as the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Male Hybrid and the Human/Gem Teenage Male Hybrid blinked in surprise.

"Oh, so it's like a Baby Book," Arthur says as Steven nodded while sitting down on the ground as he placed his book in his lap.

"Yep, now, let me look through all of the photos of my past Birthdays to see where I went wrong," Steven says while opening his Family Book as it showed an old picture of his First Birthday with a 24-year-old Greg, a 7,486-year-old Pearl, a 5,735-year-old Garnet, a 5,087-year-old Amethyst, a 24-year-old Vidalia, a 4-year-old Sour Cream, and a few others as Steven began flipping through the pages, showing all of the Birthday Pictures that his Family took over the years as everything seemed normal and such, but then Steven did a double take as, after flipping through his 8-13 Birthday Pictures, Steven couldn't help but notice that...he retained the same appearance and size. "Uh, guys? What's going on? Did we have to retake photos or something?"

"Hmm? No, why do you ask?" A confused Pearl asked as Steven pointed at his Birthday Pictures.

"Well, I couldn't help but notice that I had stopped aging and it seemed to happen right around the time that Dad had me live with you guys," Steven says with a frown as Saurus and the others lean closer to stare at the pictures thoughtfully.

"Huh...wow, you are right. This is kind of weird." A stunned Arthur says as Saurus nodded while placing his hands on his hips.

"Yeah, I just thought you were short for your age like me, but all of these pictures have you literally looking the same," Saurus commented with a worried tone as Pearl rubbed her chin a bit with a hum.

"Hmmm, you know, whenever we go to the Doctors, they do always report that you seem more...childish than other Kids your age," Pearl says as Steven turned to her in shock.

"Wait, seriously?! Why didn't you tell me!?" A surprised and slightly angry Steven asked as Garnet walked up to the Human/Gem Child Hybrid.

"We got a second opinion, and the Doctors told us that not all Humans grow at the same rate as others do," Garnet explained as Pearl nodded.

"Yeah, Greg even told us that having stunted growth is normal for your side of the Family," Pearl says with a reassuring smile as Saurus narrowed his eyes and studied the pictures more as he frowned stoically.

"I don't know. I'm not a Doctor, but this doesn't seem like any normal stunted growth that I had ever seen and I should know since I had one. I mean, look at this, Steven basically looks the same in all of these photos." Saurus says while holding up Steven's Family Photo Book as he skimmed through various pages. "The only difference is different hairstyles and clothes just like the Crystal Gems...wait...wait, wait, wait, hold on, Steven, you said that you were only 8-years-old when you went to live with the Crystal Gems, right?" Saurus asked while placing down the book as Steven turned to nod at him.

"Yeah, I used to live with my Dad in our temporary house for a long while before my Dad and the Gems build the Beach House so that I can live with the Gems," Steven says as Saurus hums...and his eyes widen in surprise as he gasped.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it all makes sense now! Steven, I know what's going on now! You had stopped aging!"

"WHAT?!" Steven and Pearl exclaimed in shock with even Garnet having her jaw dropped as Arthur looks worried.

"Look, look, I know this sounds crazy, but think about it. Ever since Steven started living with you guys, he hasn't grown at all. Mentally? Yes. Physically? Not really. I mean, Steven is 13 years old and still has baby fat, and his voice is still high pitch." Saurus says as Steven took a couple of steps back and stared down at the ground in deep shock as Pearl wanted to protest...but then clamped her mouth shut as she sweated nervously.

"Well...that theory doesn't sound too far-fetched. The Doctors always told us that Steven looked supernaturally younger than he should look...Steven hasn't grown taller at all...nor has gotten puberty yet..." Pearl trailed off anxiously as Arthur pretended to be in thought and looked away.

"Honestly, I agree with Pearl on this one. Saurus's theory does sound plausible. I mean, Gems can't age, right? And Steven is Half Gem. Maybe his Gem has been subconsciously keeping him at the same age all of this time, and we had never known. I mean, it's not like this idea is ludicrous. Steven has shown to be able to shapeshift, so how do we know that his Gem hasn't been keeping him physically 8-years-old this whole time?"

"I hate to say it, but what Saurus said is plausible. Steven may be Half-Human, but he is also Half Gem. We thought that means that Steven can live longer than normal Humans, but maybe this means that he can't physically age up to a certain point in his life." Garnet says as Saurus nodded and was about to say something else, but then-

"I HAVEN'T AGED PHYSICALLY IN FIVE YEARS?!" Steven suddenly screamed panickedly as Saurus and the Crystal Gems turned their heads as they were surprised to see him gripping his head in shock and worry as Steven sweated tremendously.

"Steven-,"

"Leave me alone! I need to process this! The Birthday Parties are off!" A nervous Steven says while turning around to run away as a concerned Saurus and Arthur were about to follow after him but was stopped by Garnet as she shakes her head at them, mentally telling him that Steven really needs some time alone now as the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Hybrid and the Human/Gem Teenage Hybrid frowned somberly.

"Whoa, what's wrong with him?" Amethyst asked with a raised eyebrow while driving up to the others as she was completely oblivious to all of the emotionally shocking drama that just occurred.

"...And that's what happened," Steven says as we fast forward in time and we see him lying down on a bench on the Beach City Boardwalk with the sun going down in the background as a large gray mist can be seen rolling onto the scene and Steven was currently face timing with Connie on his phone as he had finished explaining to his Best Friend and Secret Crush on what just happened earlier.

"Wow, I'm so sorry that happened to you, Steven." A sympathetic Connie says as Steven sighed solemnly and glanced up at the sky.

"Connie, I...I just can't believe that I haven't physically aged in five years. I didn't even know that I had a power like that. I mean, I think it's cool that the Gems are immortal, but I don't want to stay 8-years-old forever. I want to age and grow up like everyone else, but after today, I'm not sure if I even can."

"Grrr, why can't this new power show up when I was an adult or something?! At least then, I would've looked more socially acceptable! What if I'm going to stay like a little kid forever?!" Steven asked panickedly as a thought bubble appeared on his head, and it showed the image of everyone being 10 years older while he stayed the same age as a 46-year-old Greg, a 7,510-year-old Pearl, a 5,759-year-old Garnet, a 5,110-year-old Amethyst continued treating him like a little kid, a 26-year-old Saurus, a 28-year-old Arthur, and a 20-year-old Blue no longer hanging out with him due to Steven still being a little baby kid and a 22-year-old Connie refusing to date him because she doesn't want to be seen as a predator as she decided to marry a 26-year-old Lars and it caused a Present Day Steven to shiver in fear and disgust while panting heavily.

"Steven, please calm down," Connie says reassuringly while snapping Steven out of his little nightmarish fantasy as he glanced down at his phone and spotted the Indian-American Pre-Teen Girl giving her a warm smile as she waved her hand around playfully. "I'm sure that Saurus and the Crystal Gems were just exaggerating. I mean, sure, you look a little bit younger than a normal 10-year-old, but-,"

"Wait, what?! You think I'm 10!? I'm not 10-years-old!" A surprised and angry Steven yelled while sitting up from the bench as Connie blinked in disbelief and shock.

"Wait...you're not?" A bewildered Connie asked while placing her hand on her chin as she looked away thoughtfully. "I mean, I always assumed...how old are you exactly?"

"I'm 13 years old, Connie!" Steven screamed with a glare as Connie slowly blinked and held up her finger, signaling him to wait as she got up from her bed and lowered her phone as Steven heard Connie walking away, and after two minutes of waiting, his Best Friend came back as she picked up her phone and Steven saw that Connie had a glass of water in her hand as she drunk it and sighed contentedly...before doing a massive spit take as a stunned Connie turned to him.

"STEVEN, YOU'RE 13-YEARS-OLD?!" A surprised Connie asked while using her free hand to cover her forehead in disbelief and astonishment as she looked away. "BUT I'M ONLY 12 YEARS OLD AND ONE-FOURTH QUARTER! YOU'RE OLDER THAN ME!? I JUST...I CAN'T...I MEAN, LIKE...WHAT?!" A flabbergasted Connie screamed, completely caught off guard by this new shocking revelation about her Best Friend, as Steven frowned subtly at her reaction and sighed heavily as he lowered his head solemnly.

"Connie, I have to go. I will call you later."

"Wait, Steven, I didn't mean to-," A more calmed down and guilty Connie says before being cut off by Steven, who shut off the call as he puts away his phone and stood up from his bench as the Human/Gem Child Hybrid jumped off and started walking forward as he groaned loudly and facepalmed.

"I can't believe it...all of this time, I haven't physically aged in 5 years?! How could Dad not notice this!? How could the Gems not notice this?! How could I have not noticed this!?" A frustrated Steven asked himself in frustration with tears in his eyes as he then remembered the handful of times when Saurus, Connie, and various strange mistook him for a little child and also remembered all of the times when he acted childishly as the Human/Gem Hybrid groaned in mortification and facepalmed.

"Ugh, no wonder people think that I'm an 8-year-old. I always keep acting like I am a little kid, and all those parties, ugh, so embarrassing. If only I was as mature as Saurus or Arthur are." Steven says while closing his eyes as, unknown to him, his Gemstone started glowing a hot pink, and his body gained a pink aura, and he started growing older with age as Steven was now 5'8-feet-tall and 16 years old with his facial features being sharper and angular, his curly dark brown hair now reaching down to his shoulders and got poofier as his hair has multiple pink stripes in it, a sleek pink mustache, has a neck now, gained a more muscular slimmer build, and his shirt and sandals got ripped to pieces, but thankfully, his blue jeans remained intact, although they were stretched to their very limits.

"Ah, if only," Steven says sadly while speaking in a deeper yet cracking voice as the Human/Gem Hybrid was completely oblivious to the fact that he had aged himself to be Saurus's age and continued walking forward as he arrived near the Beach City Funland Arcade and spotted Onion playing near the Skeeball Machine Game. "Oh, Onion, so young, so innocent," Steven says while shaking his head somberly as he turned around to walk into the Funland Arcade, not knowing that a mischievously grinning Onion was prying open the skeeball game machine with his crowbar and stealing the quarters from it as Steven walked forward and flinched in surprise as he spotted a Whacker Man Jr. Game Console.

"Ooh, I can't be seen playing a childish game like Whacker Man Jr." A blushing Steven says while looking around nervously as he then turned around to face a Whacker Man Console. "I better stick to sophisticated games, like regular Whacker Man," Steven says while pulling out a few quarters as the Human/Gem Teenage Male Hybrid inserted it into the videogame console before reaching over to grab a fake hammer as the Whacker Man Videogame Console glowed.

"It's whackin' time! You're gonna get whacked!" Whacker Man says as Steven bops a gopher figure with a mallet and chuckles nervously as he then spotted a glaring Mr. Smiley rushing over to try and stop Onion from stealing the quarters from inside of his Videogame Consoles as Steven frowned sadly and stops playing as the Human/Gem Teenage Hybrid then turned around to walk away and was able to make his way out of the Beach City Funland Arcade as he placed his hands on his hips.

"That was fun, but a Boy on the cusp of manhood can't spend the whole day whacking his joystick," Steven says, referring to Whacker Man's Joystick, but the Beach City Civilians around him thought he was talking about something else as they gave him a disgusted look. "I need to take control of my life," Steven says to himself with a determined glare as his Gemstone started glowing a hot pink and his body gained a pink aura, and he started growing older with age as Steven was now 6-feet-tall and 18 years old with his curly dark brown hair now reaching past his shoulders and the majority of his hair now turned pink, a short full pink beard and his blue jeans broke apart, but thankfully, his underwear remained intact, although they were stretched to their very limits as all of the Beach City Citizens screamed in shock and disappeared as they ran away from the half-naked man.

"It's time for me to go to college to get my education and graduate...hmmm...nah, that sounds like too much work. Besides, college isn't that important. I might as well as try and find a proper job." Steven says with his voice being deeper as he placed his hand on his chin thoughtfully and nodded to himself, remembering that his Father dropped out of college, so it might not be that important as his Gemstone started glowing a hot pink and his body gained a pink aura, and he started growing older with age as Steven was now 6'5-feet-tall and 25 years old with his curly dark brown hair now reaching down to his back and turned completely pink and more thicker and luscious, a medium-length full pink beard, a more muscularly thick form, and his underwear broke apart, leaving him naked as a still oblivious Steven walked over to a Clothing Store and made his way inside.

"Welcome to Beach City Clothes Shop, how may I help-GAH!" A Teenage Girl says lazily before going bug-eyed at the sight of a tall muscular handsome naked man standing before her and blushed heavily as she scrambled backwards and crashed down into the ground as Steven didn't seem to notice this and merely walked over to inspect the clothes before him.

"Now, which job should I get?" Steven asked with a deep and gruff voice as he narrowed his eyes at the clothes before him. "Surf Master? No. Love Doctor? I'm too squeamish...ah, now this is the job for me." Steven says while reaching over to grab his new clothes as he turned around to walk over to the Cash Register just as the groaning Teenager got up from the floor as she flinched in shock and embarrassment at the sight of a smiling and still naked Steven standing in front of her. "Hello, miss, how much do I owe you?" Steven asked with his usual happy-go-lucky smile while leaning against the counter as the Human/Gem Teenage Male Hybrid was completely oblivious to not only the fact that he was naked but that he was giving the teenager a near panic attack.

"Oh...uh...nothing, nothing, just please...please put on some clothes, sir." The Teenager says shyly while looking away with a blush as Steven perked up and nods, happy that he will be getting these clothes for free, and turned around to go over to changing room as, a few minutes later, we see Steven coming out of the Beach City Clothes Shop while wearing a long-sleeved red shirt with the words 'Professional Beach Hunk!', a brown belt with a golden belt buckle, long dark blue jeans, and a pair of pink sandals.

"Ha, this day went so fast, I need a pick-me-up," Steven says with a smile before turning around to walk toward the Big Donut as he enters the building and spotted Sadie and Lars stocking up some donuts in the freezers behind the counter as Steven walked over to them. "Two of the usual, please. I've had quite an exhausting day filled with an existential crisis and some age-angst."

"Ha, you must be confused, pal." An amused Lars says with a snort while turning to smirk at Steven as he and Sadie didn't recognize him whatsoever for very obvious reasons. "I work here every day and I've never seen your mug before."

"Oh, hardy har, Lars." A glaring Steven says, startling Lars and Sadie as they glanced at each other in confusion. "I used to make jokes, but you know what? I've had a lot of time to think today, and sometimes you gotta smarten up, act like an adult. Because one day, if you don't, everyone you know is gonna grow up without you, and then you won't have little Steven to pick on anymore because I'll be a grown-up too." Steven stated with a firm glare as Lars and Sadie stared at him oddly and anxiously.

"Steven...who?" Sadie asked with a wince as Steven gave her a shocked and disbelieving look before growing angry as he slams his fist onto the counter.

"STEVEN QUARTZ UNIVERSE!" Steven screamed in exasperation and frustration as he threw up his arms in exasperation with a glare as Sadie and Lars flinched and backed away from the Human/Gem Adult Hybrid warily and in fear. "And I want THAT doughnut, right there! " A scowling Steven yelled angrily while pointing over at the Doughnut Case, but then flinched in surprise at the sight of his reflection on the glass as he screamed in fear. "Woa-wooaaahhhh!"

"Sir, are you okay?!" A worried Sadie asked as Steven took a couple of steps back and gripped his head in shock and horror as he gritted his teeth.

"I'M OLD!" Steven screamed in agony and surprise as Lars, after composing himself from his fear, gave the Human/Gem Hybrid a flat look and crossed his arms with a scoff.

"Yeah, no shit, dude! Are you drunk or something?!" Lars asked with a glare as a nervous and scolding Sadie elbowed him to not aggravate the delusional and crazy random stranger that looks like he can bench press a fucking house.

"No, no, no! I didn't want this! I wanted to grow up, but not so fast! I'm going to have to get a real job now! Do taxes! Lose all of my hopes and dreams! Marry Connie, although I'm okay with that part, and have Kids! I'm too young to have Kids! Hell, do I have to give up my Gem to my Kids?! What would happen if my Gem gets ripped out?! Will I die like my Mom?! I'm not emotionally ready for this!" Steven cried while placing his hands on his face as his Gemstone started glowing a hot pink and his body gained a pink aura, and he started growing older with age as Steven was now 7'5-feet-tall and 40 years old with his full pink beard way longer as his clothes thankfully remained intact since Steven recklessly bought clothes that were XXX large.

"I need to reverse this!" Steven shouted while going over to sit down at a table as an awkward Sadie went over to try and comfort the possibly drunk mysterious, crying man. "I need a, 'Reverse Birthday'...the Birthday Costume!" A gasping Steven yelled as he then turned to smile at Sadie and Lars excitedly. "Will you two help me into my Birthday Suit?" Steven asked hopefully as Sadie and Lar's sympathetic looks instantly evaporated upon hearing what he said and were left stunned as, a few seconds later, we see a screaming Steven running out of the Big Donut due to a blushing and furious Sadie chasing him out of the restaurant with a metal baseball in her hands.

"YEAH, YOU BETTER RUN, YOU DRUNK PEDOPHILIC FUCKING RAPIST!" Sadie screamed angrily while holding up her metal bat threateningly as a panting Steven ran along across the beach and stopped as he looked around anxiously just as his Gemstone started glowing a hot pink as his body gained a pink aura, and he started growing older with age as Steven was now 8-feet-tall and 60 years old as he pretty much looks the same.

"I can't stop aging! I need to get back to the Gems!" Steven says panickedly before narrowing his eyes as he turned over to glance at the cliff and ran forward, not knowing that he was running at speeds that seems superhuman as Steven spotted an incoming large trash box on the ground and reacted by jumping over it, but much to his surprise, the Human/Gem Hybrid jumped waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay higher than any Human could do as he was practically soaring through the skies. "W-What?! I can Super Jump like the Gems! Sweet!" An excited Steven yelled before remembering his problem as he glared and made his way towards the Crystal Temple Beach House.

"You know what? Steven was right. This is fun," Pearl says with a smile as we see the Crystal Gems picking up the Birthday Decorations that Steven left behind and putting them away as Saurus was nowhere in sight.

"You don't have to keep wearing that stuff," Amethyst says with a bewildered look while holding a bunch of balloons as she turned to Garnet, who was holding up a box filled with Party Supplies as she was still wearing her Birthday Costume.

"It makes me feel...important," Garnet says with a sheepish blush as Amethyst rolled her eyes playfully.

"I will admit, the bounce house did look a little bit fun, I guess," Arthur says with a shrug while noticing that Lion and Tiger were playing with each other in the background as they then ran off and disappeared from sight just as a worried Saurus appeared on the scene as he emerged out of the Temple Beach House and then made his way down to the beach as the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Male Hybrid then ran over to the Crystal Gems.

"Guys, Connie called me and told me that she is currently on her way to Beach City now because Steven called her earlier, and he seems to be really freaking out about the whole 'Not aging since he was 8-years-old'. I seriously think we need to go find and comfort him." Saurus stated sternly as Pearl rolled her eyes with a chuckle.

"Oh, please, Saurus, calm down, I'm sure this will blow over soon, and Steven will fall back into his normal self soon," Pearl stated confidently before she and the others yelped in surprise as Steven crashed down into the ground in front of them, creating a big crater around him as a groaning Steven shakingly got up from the ground.

"Hey! Who the hell are you?!" A surprised yet glaring Arthur screamed as the Crystal Gems got ready to attack the weird stranger, but then-

"Wait, wait, guys! Don't attack me! It's me! Steven Quartz Universe!" Steven screamed nervously while using his right arm to pull up his shirt to reveal his Gemstone as he used his left arm to summon his Shield and even briefly summoned his Bubble Shield.

"Steven?!" The Crystal Gems exclaimed in shock and worry as they ran over to the Human/Gem Male Adult Hybrid.

"What happened to you, man?!" A stunned Amethyst asked as Steven moaned nervously and cradled his hands together as he shrugged helplessly.

"I don't know! I was just walking around Beach City, trying to act more mature and junk, and the next thing I know, I'm old!" Steven screamed panickedly as the Crystal Gems all shared worried and anxious looks.

"Geez, how old are you now?" A concerned Arthur asked as Steven shrugged.

"Don't know, the last time I checked, I was 25-years-old, and now I'm like 60-years-old," Steven says as Saurus hummed thoughtfully...and gasped in horrifying realization as he went bugged-eyed in shock.

"Oh no, that Gem Block that you had must've been unlocked upon you realizing that you haven't physically aged in half a decade, but since you have no control over this new power, you keep constantly aging at a rapid pace," Saurus says anxious just as his Gemstone started glowing a hot pink as his body gained a pink aura, and he started growing older with age as Steven was now 9 feet tall and 100 years old as he pretty much looks the same.

"Just like that!" Pearl says with a startled gasp while clamping her hand over her mouth as Steven flinched in surprise.

"Oh, no! I seem to be 100 years old now!" Steven screamed anxiously as Saurus briefly looked concerned...before blinking in surprise as the Human/Dinosaur Teenage Hybrid stared at him with an impressed stunned look on his face.

"Wait, you're 100-years-old and you still look like you are in your 20s? Goddamn. That must be because of your Hybrid Genes. You can live longer than normal Humans." An amazed Saurus as Steven gave him a nervous frown.

"But can I live as long as the Gems, or is there a limit?" Steven asked as Saurus opened his mouth to answer...only to clamp his mouth shut due to not knowing the answer to his question, and everyone flinched in surprise as Steven's Gemstone started glowing a hot pink and his body gained a pink aura as he started growing older with age and Steven was now 200 years old as he pretty much looks the same.

"Okay, this was cool and fun at first, but now it's getting serious. How do we stop this?" Saurus asked Pearl with a glare as she flinched and tears appeared in her eyes.

"I-I don't know! Gems can't die from aging, but Steven's Half Human! This is a unique power to Steven! We don't know how to stop it!" An anxious, nearly panicking Pearl yelled as a shocked and angry Amethyst turned to her.

"What?! So are you saying that we don't know how to help him!?" Amethyst asked incredulously as Arthur bit his lip worriedly, knowing about this power since he had accidentally aged himself into an adult a while back, but doesn't know how to fix it since his Lady fixed the problem for him and contemplated calling her for help, only to be distracted by Steven as he stepped forward.

"My birthday suit might help," Steven says as everyone turned to Garnet, who was standing there motionlessly for the whole conversation, although it was mostly because a frantic Sapphire was using her Future Vision to find out what is going to happen to Steven and she and Ruby argued about how to help him out or else Steven will age himself to dust or age backwards enough that he becomes a fetus and die.

"Garnet!" Arthur yelled, snapping Garnet out of her thoughts as she reacted quickly and takes off her Birthday Costume as she used her Super Speed to put it on Steven's body.

"There, good as new...right?" An anxiously laughing Amethyst asked with her and the others waiting patiently for Steven to revert back to his old self, only for nothing to happen as Steven sighed somberly.

"Thanks, guys, but I guess this suit's all out of birthday magic. We had a good run, huh?" Steven asked with a weak smile and tears in his eyes as Steven's Gemstone started glowing a hot pink, and his body gained a pink aura as he started growing older with age and Steven was now 300 years old as he pretty much looks the same, except that the sides of his head have gray stripes and has a few locks of gray hair.

"Oh, no...guys, I think Steven is reaching his limit! Steven looks like he is in his 40s now!" Saurus yelled worriedly as Amethyst looks on in horror, and Pearl was about to cry as Garnet clenched her fists and took deep, shaky breaths as she then reached over to grab the Crystal Gems' arms.

"More birthdays! Now!" Garnet ordered sharply while pulling everyone away as Steven held his head and groaned in pain as he sits down on the ground and struggled to stop aging.

"Check it out, B-Day Boy!" Amethyst says with a fake cheerful grin as Steven raised his head and deadpans as he spotted Amethyst, who had shapeshifted herself into a Purple Kiddie Cat with Comically Big Human Eyes and a Cartoonishly Large Mouth, driving around rapidly and stopped near him as she smiled at Steven. "I'm a tiny car!" Amethyst says as Steven frowned angrily and closed his eyes as he shakes his head.

"Kid stuff," Steven says with a huff as his Gemstone starts glowing a hot pink, and his body gains a pink aura as he started growing older with age and Steven was now 400 years old as the majority of his hair and even his beard turned white with wrinkles on his face as his muscular build got toned down a little bit.

"Hey, Steven, look!" Saurus's voice rang out as Steven slowly turned his head and spotted the Human/Dinosaur Hybrid and the Human/Gem Teenage Hybrid jumping around inside of Garnet, who had shapeshifted herself into a huge and fun-looking Maroon bounce house. "A big awesome bouncy house!"

"Want to jump in with us, little buddy?!" An anxious Arthur asked as Steven rolled his eyes and scoffed.

"Don't patronize me, guys! I don't want to be treated as a little kid!" Steven screamed angrily as his Gemstone starts glowing a hot pink, and his body gains a pink aura as he started growing older with age and Steven was now 500 years old as his hair and beard were completely white and reached down to his feet as his skin was wrinkled as a prune and lost his muscular build as well as his teeth.

"Oh, shit! Steven now looks like he is in his 80s!" A shocked and heavily concerned Saurus says while he and Arthur jumped out from Garnet's body, and both Boys landed back down on the ground as the Leader of the Crystal Gems shapeshifted herself back to her Default Form.

"This is not good!" A tearful Arthur yelled worriedly.

"This is not working," Garnet says with an uncharacteristically nervous tone as Amethyst gritted her teeth with tears of frustration appearing in her eyes as she whirled around and ran off.

"Pearl, what the fuck are you doing?! Get over here already!"

"I can't!"

"FOR STEVEN!" Amethyst growled while running back and could be seen holding Pearl as she plants her down on the ground, and Pink Diamond's Pearl can be seen wearing the same Clown Outfit that Steven wore earlier, sans the makeup and fake red nose, as she was also holding a freshly baked pie.

"Oh, look!" A weeping Pearl says while biting her lip nervously as she approached a really old Steven. "I-I...have what...umm...what appears to be a delicious pie...I sincerely hope that...nothing happens to...I CAN'T DO THIS! OH STEVEN! MY BABY BOY!" Pearl sobbed while breaking down as she shoves the pie into her face and cried, heartbroken that Rose's Baby, the one that she raised since infancy, will soon die of old age unnaturally as Garnet remained stoic and emotionless while Amethyst, Saurus, and Arthur stared at Pearl in deep shock, bewilderment, and anger.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL HIM FASTER?!" Amethyst asked in exasperation and anger as Arthur turned to glare at her while shedding tears of sadness and frustration.

"YOU ARE NOT HELPING, AMETHYST!" Arthur screamed while seriously thinking about calling his Lady for help as Amethyst turned to scowl at him in irritation.

"ARE YOU SERIOUSLY GIVING ME SHIT NOW?! NOW OF ALL TIMES!?" Amethyst asked with a snarl as Pearl sniffled and rushed over to cling herself tightly to Amethyst and Arthur as she cried on their shoulders. "PEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARL!"

"FOR FUCK'S SAKE, PEARL, PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER ALREADY! CRYING ISN'T GOING TO SAVE STEVEN!" Saurus screamed furiously with tears of rage rolling down her eyes, and green scales appeared on his body, absolutely devastated by the fact that his Little Buddy was dying, but pulled back his raging sorrowful emotions for Steven's sake as a crying Pearl was about to say something, but was caught off guard by a quiet Garnet walking over to shove past the Group as she made her way over to Steven and stared down at him quietly for a few seconds before suddenly bending down to grab Steven as Garnet lifted him up into the air and starts shaking him violently with a tense and somber glare on her face.

"GARNET?!" Saurus, Amethyst, Pearl, and Arthur exclaimed in surprise and horror and anger as Garnet suddenly dropped Steven, causing him to drop down into the ground as she then raised her arms and covered them with red/blue electricity as the Crystal Gems flinched worriedly and immediately rushed over to stop Garnet as Saurus and Amethyst shapeshifted themselves into their Full Dinosaur and Purple Puma Forms as they ran over to tackle Garnet into the floor while Pearl and Arthur ran over to stand in front of Steven protectively.

"GARNET, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Pearl screamed with a teary glare while holding up her hands.

"ARE YOU FREAKING CRAZY!?" Amethyst asked with a scowl while making sure to use all of her strength to hold back Garnet to prevent her from attacking Steven,

"WERE YOU TRYING TO KILL HIM?!" Arthur asked in exasperation while placing his hands on his hips with tears in his eyes as he was barely keeping himself together.

"GARNET, STOP!" Saurus ordered with a threatening growl while holding back a glaring and grunting Garnet as she briefly struggled in her teammates' hold before the Leader of the Crystal Gems stopped fighting and went slack as she relaxed her powers and her lighting powers died down as Garnet trembled and Saurus and Amethyst let go of her as Garnet sits up from the ground, and laid down on her knees as she held her head and her visor disappeared with a flash of magical maroon light as the Fusion of Love started shedding hot frustrated and remorseful tears.

"I-I'm sorry..." Garnet says while she and the others spotted Steven's Gemstone glowing a hot pink as his body gains a pink aura and he started growing older with age as Steven was now 600 years old with the top of his white hair being bald, his eyesight was practically gone, and all he could hear was loud ringing in his ears as his skin was completely wrinkled and was left extremely skinny and frail as even his Gemstone gained a duller color. "I thought...violence...would be the answer," Garnet says solemnly while clenching her fists, and a single tear ran down one of her eyes as she heard the voices of Sapphire and Ruby in the Fusion Realm.

"How could you do that to him?! You could've killed him!" A furious Sapphire yelled as Ruby bit her lip and tears appeared in her eyes.

"I-I thought that I can-,"

"Why didn't you wait until I found a solution to save him?!" Sapphire asked while stepping towards to glare into Ruby's face and pulled back her hair to reveal her teary single eye as her Lover winced, but then grows angry as she glared back at her defiantly.

"You were taking too long! He could've died!"

"I'm trying my best, okay?!" Sapphire screamed while whirling around and placed her hands on her face as she cried.

"I know you are! I'm not blaming you!" A now guilty Ruby says while walking over to give her a comforting hug as Garnet placed her hands on her face and lowered her head as she gritted her teeth solemnly.

"Please, you two, stop fighting. We need to help Steven," Garnet mumbled under her breath as an oblivious Pearl began hitting her back and scolding her for what she did with tears running down her eyes as Amethyst angrily screamed at Saurus to come up with a plan to save Steven and he yelled back at her to cool it while Arthur gritted his teeth and turned around as he kneeled down to the floor and punched at the beach in his sadness and frustration as he then shakily started reaching into his pocket to pull out his communicator to call up his Lady for assistance.

"..." A severely-aged and near-to-death Steven said nothing but weakly opened his eyes and could barely see and hear the Crystal Gems arguing in despair with one another as he glared at this angrily, and his gemstone began glowing a hot pink. "Would...you...guys...just please..." Steven says with a severely weaker and almost whispery tone while coughing loudly as the Crystal Gems turned to him and were stunned to see Steven's Gemstone glowing a hot pink as his body gains a pink aura and Steven aged down immensely to be his 100-years-old self as he stood up from the floor and gave his Family and Friends a stern glare.

"CONTROL YOURSELVES?!" Steven ordered with a huff while placing his hands on his hips as the Crystal Gems stared at him in shock and awe with Arthur taking his hand out of his pocket and negating on calling up his Lady as Saurus and Amethyst were so stunned by this that they reflexively transformed back into their Real/Default Forms. "Ugh, oh no," Steven says nervously with a blush as his Gemstone glowed a hot pink and his body gains a pink aura as Steven aged himself down to be his 16-year-old self. "Oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled...but I can't stand to see you all freaking out like this!" A glaring Steven shouted just as his Gemstone glowed a hot pink as his body gains a pink aura, and Steven aged himself up to be his 25-year-old self.

"What?!" A shocked Pearl asked as Saurus gasped in realization.

"Oh, this makes sense now! Guys, his Fluctuating Aging is tied to his Gem! Just like when summoning his Shield, his Aging Powers are tied to his emotions, but it's even more than that! Steven's Gem is reacting to his state of mind! No wonder Steven stayed the same age for five years! Because he thought of himself as a kid!"

"Of course! And when Steven found out about being unable to age past eight years old, it caused his state of mind to go all over the place and caused him to rapidly age from young to old!" A gasping Pearl screamed concernedly as Amethyst gave them a confused look.

"Which means?!" Amethyst asked desperately, trying to understand as the Human/Gem Teenage Male Hybrid turned to the Overcooked Amethyst Quartz Soldier.

"We have to make Steven think like a kid again!" Arthur screamed as Garnet nodded firmly while snapping her fingers as she summoned her visor again.

"Gotcha...Stevie, stop feeling old!" Amethyst screamed while she and the others turned back to Steven, whose Gemstone glowed a hot pink as his body gains a pink aura, and Steven aged himself down to be his 18-year-old self.

"I'm trying!" A panicking and worried Steven screamed while gritting his teeth in effort as he struggled to gain control of his Fluctuating Age Gem Powers.

"Steven, you have to think about being your old self!" Arthur screamed while clenching his fists with a concerned frown on his face.

"Think about all of the childish things that you love!" Garnet yelled as Steven glared and bit his lip while clenching his fists in frustration and sadness.

"But I don't want to be a kid again!" Steven snapped with his Gemstone glowing a hot pink as his body gains a pink aura, and Steven aged himself down to be his 8-year-old self. "I want to grow up and mature like my Dad or Connie or any other person that I met!" Steven screamed with his Gemstone glowing a hot pink as his body gains a pink aura, and Steven aged himself up to be his 40-year-old self. "But I don't want to be an adult either or old!" Steven shouted while gripping his hair as tears ran down his head and sobbed as his Gemstone glowed a hot pink and his body gains a pink aura as Steven aged himself up to be his 500-year-old self. "I don't know what to do!"

"Steven! If you don't want to be young or old, then let's go with the middle option and age yourself down to be 13 years old! Your real age! Do you want to grow up and mature like any other human being? Then learn to let go of your childish behavior and grow up, but still be a kid! Just think about you being 13! Do it!" Saurus screamed panickedly yet had a firm tone as Steven sniffled but nodded as he closed his eyes in concentration and lets out a loud and determined scream as his Gemstone glowed a hot pink, and his body gains a pink aura as Steven aged himself down immensely to be his true age of 13-years-old.

Once the pink glow died down, we see that Steven has now aged himself down into his True Age, which consisted of him being 4'6-feet-tall and 13 years old with his face being slimmer and angular as his curly dark brown hair now reaching down to his shoulders and gained multiple pinks stripes in it, has a neck now, gained a slimmer athletically toned build, and the only thing that he could be seen wearing is his long-sleeved red shirt since Steven's clothes were now comically large and loose on him, but thankfully, his shirt reaches down to his feet and protected his modesty.

"STEVEN!" An extremely happy and crying Saurus, Pearl, Amethyst, and Arthur screamed while rushing over to hug Steven, who seems to be the same size as Amethyst now as Garnet smiled warmly and sighed in relief as she felt Sapphire and Ruby making amends in their Fusion Realm.

"Steven, two things. One, I'm happy that you are safe now, little buddy. And two, are you okay?" Saurus asked worriedly as, after the Crystal Gems let go of him, Steven inspected his body.

"Hmmm...you know what? I actually feel...great. Better than usual, actually." Steven says with a warm smile, feeling big and strong now that he was physically his real age now, as the Crystal Gems smiled happily...but then gasped as they took a good look at Steven's 13-year-old body.

"Huh...you look good, Steven," Garnet complimented while brushing away her tears as she then gave him a thumbs up.

"Dude, your neck!" A stunned Amethyst yelled while pointing over at Steven's neck as said person flinched in surprise.

"What?! What's wrong with my neck!?" A concerned and scared Steven asked while gripping his neck as the Overcooked Amethyst Quartz Soldier had her jaw dropped.

"You have one now!" A wide-eyed and amazed Amethyst exclaimed as Pearl rushed over to begin touching Steven's muscles.

"Oh, my stars! Steven, you look so mature right now! I'm so proud of you!"

"Heh, yep, I guess Mr. Universe was right. You weren't really fat. It was just baby fat." Arthur says while respecting Steven's slimmer form as said person blushed sheepishly.

"Man, this is going to get some getting used to. Also, don't get me wrong, I really love the compliments, but can we please get me some new clothes? I don't think my old clothes will fit me anymore." Steven says with an awkward laugh as Saurus nodded while patting his back.

"Don't worry, Little Buddy, we will go to the Beach City Clothes Shop tomorrow and buy you new clothes," Saurus says reassuringly as Steven sighs in relief and nods.

"Thanks. Oh, and also, Saurus? For helping me out on aging back to my real age, I'd like to give you a gift," Steven says while turning around to walk over to a table from where a plate filled with pink strawberry cupcakes could be seen resting on it as the Human/Gem Pre-Teen grabbed one of them and walked back over to the Crystal Gems as Steven splits a cupcake in half and gave one of the halves to Saurus. "Half my birthday. It'd make me real happy if you'd share it with me."

"Wait, seriously? So every year, it'd be my birthday too?" A surprised Saurus asked as a smiling Steven nodded.

"Yeah, I feel bad that you don't have a real birthday, so I'm going to give you one, and don't worry, I will make sure that our Birthday will be age-appropriate to us," Steven says reassuringly before leaning over to whisper into Saurus's ears. "And if you know what you're doing, you can milk it for a whole week."

"Oh, really?" An amused Saurus asked as Steven nodded with a giggle.

"Yeah, Dad, the Gems, and everyone spoils me rotten, so they should spoil you too if you play your cards right. Don't worry. I will teach you my ways." Steven says as Saurus nodded with a chuckle and was about to say something when suddenly-

"STEVEN!" A familiar yell rang out as the Crystal Gems flinched in surprise and whirled around to see a frantic and panting Connie running into the beach as she looked around worriedly.

"Connie! Over here!" Steven screamed while raising his hand as Connie perked up, being able to spot him and the Gems as she ran over to them.

"Oh, Steven, thank goodness you are okay! After you hung up on me and Saurus told me that you haven't returned home yet, I assumed that our talk hurt you a lot, so I was able to convince my Parents to allow me to take a quick Bus Trip to Beach City! Look, Steven, I didn't mean to hurt you with what I said! I was just in shock, but I want you to know that even if you stay 8 years old forever, I will always still be your Best Friend no matter...what..." Connie screamed with a sincere and determined tone before trailing off as she was able to run up to the others and finally got a good look at her Best Friend as Connie noticed that she was staring at Steven's chest and slowly glanced up at his face as the glasses-wearing 13-year-old Girl's jaw dropped in pure shock. "S-Steven?!"

"Hey, Connie, sorry for leaving you hanging like that. I had a lot of issues to work through." Steven says with a chuckle as, for an odd reason, his deep voice made a shiver crawl down Connie's spine. "So, I know this looks crazy, but don't worry, I'm fine...well, I wasn't, but I will explain it all soon. Basically, long story short, I was able to finally get past my Gem Age Block with the help of Saurus and the Crystal Gems, and now I'm aged up to my true physical age of 13 years old, and I'm pretty sure that I can age normally now...hopefully. What do you think?" Steven asked with a charming smile and struck a pose as a stunned Connie continued staring up at her Best Friend, who was now two inches taller than her and way more slim and muscular than before as Connie scanned his body up and down as she blinked a couple of times, feeling her brain short-circuiting as she mumbled something under her breath and her face went fully red as blood squirted out of her nose and Connie moaned as her eyes rolled to the back of her head and crashed down into the ground.

"Huh!? Connie, what happened?! Are you sick!? Answer me!" A concerned Steven screamed, oblivious to why Connie fainted, as he ran over to bend down and check on her as the Human/Gem Pre-Teen Hybrid noticed that Connie had swirls for eyes and was smiling goofily as an amused Arthur chuckled and turned to him.

"Quick, Steven, give Connie mouth-to-mouth to revive her," Arthur says teasingly as Steven blushed heavily while Saurus rolled his eyes knowingly with a big playful smirk on his face as Amethyst snorted and laughed while an equally worried Pearl ran over to check on a passed-out Connie as Garnet turned around to walk into the Crystal Temple Beach House to find some medical supplies and lie to Connie's Parents about why Connie needs to spend the night with them as she was also planning to call up Greg since he probably wants to know about his Son's Magical Growth Spurt.

And done. I hope you guys enjoyed the new chapter, and I can't wait to write the next chapter. Also, before I go, I know what you are all wondering. Why did I have Steven physically aged to be 13 years old in this chapter? Well, when I was watching the show, I thought Steven did look like a 13-year-old, but the art style made him look younger, but on Steven's Birthday, I was absolutely stunned to find out that Steven hasn't physically aged since he was 8 years old. Like...that was honestly disturbing. It's why I hate the episode because it left a sour taste in my mouth, and what's worse is that this episode has the biggest StevenXConnie Shipping Moments, but I couldn't enjoy it since I was thinking bout the horrible implications that Steven can never physically grow up.

Of course, thanks to Steven Universe The Movie and Future, we all know that Steven can grow, but I didn't want to wait that long for Steven to age, so I decided to fix it by having Steven more or less master his Age Manipulation Powers and grow up to his physical age of 13 and can grow normally as any Human can from now on, and, as you can tell, Connie definitely likes the new change. Heh, I also admittedly changed Steven's Age so that he and Connie can properly date each other now that Steven doesn't have the body of an 8-year-old..also, this is a minor random nitpick, but I was angry that Connie legit did not know how old Steven was until the Steven's Birthday Episode.

Like, come on, how can she not know how old Steven is? That's one of the basic things to know about your bestie. Sure, Jurassic Universe Connie didn't know how old Steven was either, but here's the thing, they have only been friends for like...what? A few months maybe, and haven't hang out as much due to Connie going to school, so it made sense that it wasn't brought up yet, but Canon Connie should've long known Canon Steven's Age by the point of Steven's Birthday Episode occurred. Oh, and if it isn't obvious, I will change how Steven's Birthday Episode will play out since Jurassic Universe Steven was able to get around his aging problems. Don't worry, though. I have a great plan for that episode...also, here are the Voice Actors for Steven across the ages:

1) 16-year-old Steven's Voice Actor: Zach Callison, specifically the voice that he uses for the character Steven Universe in Steven Universe The Movie and Steven Universe Future.
