Chapter 10

Authors Notes

Hello everyone! I first want to apologize for the extremely late upload, I took most of the weekend off, I just got engaged and was celebrating with my fiance's family, as well as having several days of thanksgiving dinners. I am thankful for all of you guys sticking it out as I finished this chapter, and started my work on this week's chapter. Secondly, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, full of good food and family!

Now, onto the reviews;

Gucci Mane LaFlare : I wanted Ella to stand up to Heather to show that she isn't just a pushover, but still wants her to be a friend in the end. Ezekiel is one of those characters that I want to develop more, but felt shouldn't be hogging the spotlight because of that, so booting him around here felt better.

Haha I'm glad you liked Geoff getting blasted near the end! Yeah it was pretty obvious that Jasmine would be good at this challenge.

Zeke the Prophet : I was thinking of you when I made the decision to boot Zeke, and it sucks but I have plans for him don't you worry! I think having him be more wild and nature-y fits him just as good as his social problems do, but I didn't wanna focus on those, at least not now. Ella standing up for herself gives her more ground to share her opinions, and it forces Heather to play nice for sure

millikan : yeah Ezekiel leaving was for the best, I'm glad you liked Ella standing up for herself! She needs to look out for herself

amit : yeah like I said my computer was messed up for like 3 days I normally write on, so I had to work with the days I had available to me. I'm glad you found it still more fleshed out than a lot of others! Also I know what you're talking about with Brick wanting to quit for breaking his code, but he hasn't broken his code yet.

Shuffollower : I totally get how the way Ezekiel left would leave a bad taste in your mouth. It was hard to think of a way to validate his elimination due to injury, without it being something like being mauled. I'm not finished with him though, so don't you worry. Yeah Total Shuffled was the inspiration for me writing this series, so a subtle nod with Tyler comforting Ella was put in. All three of them are villains for sure, but you'll have to see if any of them get the boot before the merge. Also, no worries work happens I get that a lot more than you know hahah!

romeoaifesili : yeah it was a twist having Ella stand up for herself, I wanted her to actually do more than just get bullied and not do anything about it. I wish she would've done the same in canon but alas, that's not the case. Since the two you mentioned aren't in this season, Jasmine having a friend is key, and I think Dave fits that role well, sort of a weirdo who has issues but isn't intimidated by Jasmine. Yeah Ezekiel was a hard character to place, I didn't want to favor him and all of a sudden have him be a super force, but I didn't wanna have him leave early either. I felt having him leav closer to the merge was better for him to develop without making him seem too protected just for him being Ezekiel. Worry not, I have more plans for him so he's not done yet!

Ok, with that now finished, here is chapter 10!

(Start Episode)

"Last time on Total Drama Island," Chris begins as he is seen standing on the dock, "the two teams battled it out, and got to test their hunting skills." the host says as clips of the two teams being handed their gear plays on screen, the capstone theme slowly fading in. "Both teams split into hunter and deer, and went off into the woods to play a colorful game of hide and seek." More clips are shown on screen of both teams running off into the woods and shooting their paintball guns, chasing the "deer" to tag them.

"Heather may have just lost another member of her own alliance, and Brick trapped half of his own team! Hahaha!" the host laughs as Ella can be seen tearing up as Heather yells at her, and Mike, Dawn, and Brick are shown falling into the cadets pit trap.

"And despite Heather and Ella not really doing much of anything today, it was Jasmine who's tree hopping strategy won the Gophers the challenge." Jasmine is shown on screen jumping from tree to tree, following Dave and shooting the opposing prey and hunters around him. "Haha ohhh that's hilarious." the host says as Jasmine is seen pelting the Bass with paintballs, a slight smile on her face.

"The Bass had a tough decision to make, but instead of eliminating Brick, who lost them the game, they voted off Ezekiel, who hit his head too many times chasing Courtney and Duncan."

A clip of Ezekiel being helped to the boat of losers by Zoey is shown on screen, and they wave off their friend as he fades into the distance. "Now it's seven all. Who will win more than one challenge at a time, and will anyone ever hook up on this show?" Chris says as he raises his hands up dramatically. "Find out right now, on Total, Drama, Island!" the camera zooms out with every word, the island coming into full view as the music peaks.

(Fade to Intro)

Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine

You guys are on my mind

You asked me what I wanted to be

And now I think the answer is plain to see

I wanna be famous

I wanna live close to the sun

Well pack your bags cause I've already won

Everything to prove nothing in my way

I'll get there one day

Cause I wanna be famous

(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The shot opens up as the camera passes through two lone pines, revealing a cliff hiding behind the trees. A clear, pristine waterfall runs over the cliff and down into the lake, sparkling in the sunlight. The camera flashes and shifts to an ariel view of the dock, cabins standing off in the distance. The shot moves forwards as if the camera were in the air, flying forward as if it were a drone.

/

Inside the Gopher cabin, the camera pans over each boy sleeping peacefully. Geoff is snoring, with his cowboy hat blowing up and down with every breath he takes. Dave can be seen squirming in his bed as he tosses and turns, obviously having a dream of some sorts. Duncan sits up as the camera settles on him, and he quickly jumps down from his bunk and starts to do some pushups. As he does his morning exercise, Dave can be heard mumbling, getting louder and louder.

"Don't eat that!" the germaphobe yells, rapidly sitting up, hitting his head, and falling on top of the delinquent who grunts under the new weight, and flops to the ground. Both boys groan as the recover their senses, and Duncan glares at the boy. "Do you mind?"

Dave, now wide-eyed after seeing who he had fallen onto, quickly gets off of him and backs away. "S-sorry Duncan, I didn't mean to! Honest!" he says, holding his hands out in front of him in fear.

"You had better mean that spray can, or I'm gonna have to teach you a lesson in manners." Duncan growls at Dave, clenching his fist and grinning. The boy quickly puts his clothes on and frantically walks towards the door.

"I'm just gonna leave...and not bother you anymore ok?" he quickly says as he opens the door and slams it behind him.

Duncan grins at the doorway when a hand appears on his shoulder. "You gotta take it easy on the little dude, he doesn't mean it." Geoff tells the delinquent who rolls his eyes at the party boy.

"Relax, I'm just messing with the guy. He's a runt, and it makes staying on the island a little more bearable." he says as he puts his clothes on.

"Yeah but aren't you gonna really hurt the guy? He doesn't have that many friends now that DJ's gone." Geoff replies with a more concerned look.

"Don't worry, I'm not gonna do anything that'll make him pee his pants." Duncan goes wide eyed and starts to snicker. "Unless I made him pee his pants! Ha! That would be hilarious." he says as he walks out the door, leaving Geoff standing alone.

/

An eagle cries out as it flies over the clear skies, and the camera pans down to reveal the campers standing on the beach, the host in front of them about to explain their challenge.

"Today's challenge will test your minds, your teamwork, and your skills in the kitchen." Chris says as he puts his hands on his hips, the logos of both teams spinning on screen as the camera switches shots.

"You will be cooking a three-course meal, and serving it to me for a taste test. Winners get a reward, losers will send someone home." Geoff and Dave give each other hesitant looks as Chris continues."Both teams will need to appoint a Head Chef, who will pick your theme for the meal, and will oversee cooking."

"To cook, you need ingredients. Every morning, a truck arrives on the island to bring us food. Today's task starts there." he says as a small, rusting truck emerges from the water, and a dolphin wearing a delivery hat and a tie pokes his head out and salutes cheerfully.

/

The dark interior of the truck is flooded with light as Geoff and Dave open the doors. "We can do a killer Italian theme!" Geoff says with a wide smile.

"Hello Head Chef!" Duncan says, appearing next to the party boy, and the rest of the team nods, even Heather. "Seriously? You're all ok with me being head chef?" he asks, surprised.

"YES! Hurry up before I change my mind." Heather huffs.

"Alright! Let's get grabbing guys!" Geoff calls out. The camera pans back as the Bass make their way to the truck. "I call Head Chef!" Jo yells to her team, and Amy glares back.

"Um, loud cough of interruption? I should be Head Chef, not you! We actually need to be gentle with our food!" the mean twin retorts.

"Let's take a vote then." Jo says. "Who wants Amy to be Head Chef?" Tyler and Brick raise their hands. "And who wants me as head chef?" Mike, Zoey, and Dawn all reluctantly raise their hands. "Perfect. I've got the perfect Spanish course in mind." the jockette grins.

/

The Gophers hop off the truck carrying wooden crates full of food, with Geoff not far behind, carrying a can of tomato sauce. "Okay guys, let's get to cookin'!" he shouts as the Gophers walk away and the Bass arrive at the truck, a drumline playing in the background.

"Okay Mike, olive oil. Brick, ciabatta bread. Zoey, that crate of spices. Dawn, tomatoes. Tyler, shrimp. Amy, sugar and flour. Move, move, move!" Jo yells and blows her whistle to the ire of her teammates.

/

The Gophers carry their assorted goods through the swinging doors, and set them on the main island. "Okay, we've got three courses, and there's six of us, everyone partners up!" Geoff cooly commands as he takes a seat on a stool.

"I know how to make some killer pasta sauce."Jasmine calls out.

"I can boil pasta pretty well I guess." Dave says and Jasmine gives him a smile and holds out her hand for a high five, which he returns.

"Me and Ella can handle the antipasto." Heather says with a straight face.

"O-okay…" Ella says looking down awkwardly.

"I guess that leaves you and me on dessert detail." Duncan says as Courtney goes wide eyed in realization.

"Oh no. No way." she says standing up definitely. Geoff walks over to the two and puts a hand on their shoulders. "Come on Courtney. For the team."

"He's so unmotivated, he never washes his hands, and he's so obnoxious!" The camera speeds forward as the Type A continues to rant. "Owning sunglasses does not automatically make you cool." she hand quotes, and the camera speeds up once more. "People like that are so annoying. Honestly, who does that? And don't get me started on his hair." she finishes with a roll of her eyes.

Ominous music plays as Amy breaks off from the group as they make their way to the kitchen to enter her cabin. She looks around before stepping inside and reaching under her pillow. She pulls out the tiki idol and starts to laugh. She tucks it in her pocket and walks back out of the cabin, unaware of a certain mystic's eyes watching her from around the corner of the cabin.

"I knew I sensed negative energy coming from Amy's aura. Her having the cursed tiki idol explains it!" she says with wide eyes in the outhouse. "This must be why we lost last week's challenge! I must warn the others before she causes irreparable damage!" she exclaims.

"String bean and Brick for brains, you're on the Ensalada templada. Lamey and Jockstrap, you're making the Paella." Jo says as Tyler pumps his fist in the air.

"Yeah! I rock at cooking seafood!" he shouts before Jo blows her whistle directly at Tyler, and the boy falls on the ground, the noise clearly still ringing in his ears.

"Fortune teller and flower girl, you guys are making our dessert, Flan." she says as Tyler gets up only to slip on a tomato can and hit the ground once more. "And can someone help balance beam over here?!" she shouts as she walks away.

/

"So, Dave. You ready to help me cut these tomatoes?" Jasmine says as the boy looks down nervously, two cutting boards and a large saucepan in front of them. "Are these tomatoes organic? Because I'm probably allergic to them if they're not." the Normal Guy says, sheepishly rubbing his arm and Jasmine just laughs at the boy's remark. "You'll be fine Dave, just start slicing the tomatoes and I'll take it from there." she says as Dave relaxes and picks up his knife, ready to start slicing. "Okay, let's just hope these tomatoes don't attack me after I cut them." he says and Jasmine gives the boy a questioning look.

/

The camera cuts to Zoey and Dawn as they start on the Flan, Dawn stirring the caramel mixture, and Zoey mixing the eggs and sugar in a bowl. "So Dawn, how come you can see people's auras? That seems like a very rare gift." Zoey says as she continues to mix the eggs.

"Oh yes, I'm the only one in my family to have the gift. I was just blessed by Mother Earth to be her protector is all it really is." the mystic says as she sticks her finger in the caramel mixture to taste, and hums as she adds a bit more vanilla.

She frowns before turning around. "Zoey, there is something I must tell you. I saw Amy with a cursed idol! She must have grabbed it from Boney Island, and it's been used for evil!" she says and the indie girl stops stirring.

"What are you saying Dawn? Yeah she's a jerk sometimes, but sabotage? That seems way too complicated for someone as dumb as her." she says before going wide-eyed at her own comment.

xxx

(static)
"Did I really just say that?" Zoey asks the confessional camera before looking around nervously. "Maybe Jo is starting to rub off on me."

The Gopher logo appears and Duncan can be seen flattening some dough with a roller. "Careful you big paws don't mash the pastry!" Courntey says as the Type A mixes something in a large bowl.

"Careful your uptight butt doesn't curdle the custard!" Duncan smiles and Courntey stops mixing the custard. "Oh hahaha...very funny." she says as she turns around and gasps at the sight in front of her.

Dave stands in front of the two, hand wrapped in bandages, and the boy sheepishly laughs before Duncan notices and laughs at the Normal Guy. "What happened to you? Allergic to kitchen knives?" he laughs.

"I guess I'm not good with a kitchen knife, haha. I really should've seen that coming after I wondered why the tomato juice was so red, and thick, and not coming from the tomatoes..." he explains as Chris appears behind the swinging door. "Three hours and counting guys!" he says before looking at Dave's wrapped hands. "Oooookay." the host awkwardly says before leaving.

/

Mike and Brick are seen combining their respective greens and meats into a bowl to start tossing, when Jo slams her hand on the table. "Hey, where are the olives and roasted peppers? We need those for this dish in order for it to be perfect!"

"Well, I'm allergic to peppers, so we don't think it's a good idea for me to prepare them." Mike says while Brick gives Jo a glare.
"Too bad, I don't trust this guy with anything after seeing these slices of chicken. I mean look how disproportionate they all are!" she throws her hands up in frustration.

"Hey how about cutting Mike some slack? He's doing all he can ma'am." the cadet responds in a serious tone. Jo whirls around and points her finger right at Brick, who yelps.

"You're gonna get this done one way or another, you know why?" she asks and he nervously shakes his head. "Because the Head Chef says so!" she yells and blows her whistle, and Brick cringes after hearing how loud it truly was.

(static)

"Alright, I think it's time I do something about Jo's attitude." Brick confesses to the outhouse camera.

Heather and Ella can be seen working on the antipasto, silently working together as they slice some cheese and meat, decorating a platter already filled with an assortment of other meats and cheeses. "Ella, can I talk to you for a second?" she asks, and the princess doesn't say anything in return.

"Listen, I'm sorry for what I said in the forest. I was just so upset with our team losing two challenges in a row, and I said some things I didn't mean."

Ella stops slicing and looks at Heather with a hopeful expression. "Do you truly mean what you say?" she asks, hands together in anticipation.

"Yes, Ella. And I do want to be your friend, can you ever forgive me?" she looks at Ella with pleading eyes. The princess jumps up and down excitedly. "Oh yes, that would be wonderful!" She joyfully says, as she hugs the Queen Bee, and then turns back to make the finishing touches on the antipasto, humming to herself cheerfully.

xxx

(static)
"Barf, fake apologizing is so hard." Heather says giving the camera a look of disgust. "I didn't come here to make friends. I came here to win. And if that means I have to suck up to Ella for a couple challenges, that's what I'll do." she finishes with a wide grin on her face.

Zoey and Dawn wait around the oven, and both jump up in excitement when they hear a ding, and they quickly open the oven and pull out the pan, the Flan steaming as it exits the oven. "Wow, this looks so good!" Zoey exclaims. "I wonder how Jo knew the recipe for this stuff." she thinks aloud as they set it on the wooden table.

"That's because she secretly cooks when she's not working out. It gets her in touch with her feminine side." Dawn says, and Zoey starts to burst out in laughter.

"Hahahaha! That's the best thing I've heard all day!" she giggles some more before Dawn starts to laugh along with her. Their laughing bout is interrupted by Jo who blows her whistle and walks up to their finished dessert.

She looks at the Flan with discerning eyes, and takes a piece to taste. The jockette takes a bite, and opens her eyes as she coughs, Zoey rushing over to see if she was ok. "Hey, are you alright Jo?" the Indie Chick asks.

"I'm fine!" Jo says shoving the girl away. "That Flan is way too sweet! We can't serve that!" Jo says as Dawn and Zoey look at each other in worry.

"But Jo, we cannot make another batch in time for the taste test!" Dawn says as the jockette narrows her eyes. "I don't care. Make. Another. BATCH!" she yells and reaches for her whistle. Just as he raises it to her lips, a hand snatches it from her grasp."Hey! Give that back!" Jo yells.

The hand is revealed to be Brick's, who smiles and rears back. "Mike! Catch!" Brick throws the whistle into Mike's hands, and he tosses it to Zoey, who catches it with a surprised look on her face. "Zoey, give me my whistle back. Right NOW." Jo says, holding her hand out. The indie chick looks at the jockette before steeling herself, and throwing it towards Brick once more, who opens the freezer door, letting the whistle bounce inside. Jo quickly chases after it, and picks it up off the ground.

"Ahh much better." she says as she hangs it around her neck, but gasps as she hears the door close behind her. "Let me out! You'll all regret this!" Brick and Mike lock the door as Jo pounds on the steel frame, creating dents as she yells. They high five each other before getting up and walking away with the others to finish their courses.

/

The Gopher logo appears as Duncan can be seen sloppily filling in Custard shells for their desert, Courtney watching behind him. "You're such a slob. They all have to have the same amount of custard!" she glares as the delinquent continues to squeeze the custard tube.

"Oh relax, they're fine. You know you'd be more fun without that pole up your butt." he grins.

"I'm like the most easy going person I know!" a shocked Courtney replies. "Oh yeah you're totally laid back." Duncan replies as he holds up the tube and squirts some of the custard onto Courtney's face.

She glares as she picks up the bowl of the leftover custard and chucks it at his head, giggling as it hits its mark. She dips a finger into the custard running down Duncan's face, and tastes it, giggling even more.

(static)

"Man, that girl creases me." Duncan confesses to the outhouse camera. "I dig that in a chick." he finishes with a smile.

(static)

"Duncan and me? As if!" Courtney scoffs to the confessional camera. "I'm so sure. Not in a million years. PLEASE. When pigs fly." she says and is interrupted by a voice outside the outhouse.

"Are you done ranting or do I need to throw you out?" Jo calls out before Courtney looks back towards the camera. "Like I said, not gonna happen."

The Bass stood around their three presentations, looking very impressed with their creations. "Tyler, you and Amy made a killer Paella!" Mike gives the boy a high five, and Tyler puffs his chest proudly, motioning to the seafood and rice dish.

"Yeah, I'm a pretty good seafood cook." he confidently tells the others while Amy rolls her eyes at his comment. "Quick, we better set our side of the table for Chris. Amy, you watch the food while we get everything ready out front." Brick says as they quickly rush out, leaving the mean twin behind.

Ominous music begins to play as she once again looks around before taking the tiki idol out of her pocket, setting it beside the dishes. She laughs as she walks off, leaving the tiki doll to curse their food, however that may occur.

xxx

(static)
"If our food fails, Jo is so gone." Amy says smirking devilishly. "Once she's gone, this team is mine to run for the rest of the game." she laughs and wipes a tear from her eye. "Oh this is so easy."

Chris sits in the middle of a lone table, purple banners and orange ribbons decorating the table to give the setting a more official feeling. Fork and knife in hand and a smile plastered on his face, he awaits the teams for tasting. Geoff and Zoey step forward, each placing an ornament on the table. Zoey sets up a flamenco dancer figure, while Geoff lights a three pronged candle. "Dinner will be served shortly sir!" Zoey cheerfully says as her and the others walk back to the kitchen.

"Dinner is served dude-I mean...sir." Geoff follows up before the antipasto is set in front of the host.

Chris smiles and takes a collection of meats and cheeses onto his fork, and takes a huge bite. He chews for a minute, a thoughtful expression on his face. He swallows, and gives the Gophers a thumbs up. "Your antipasto passed the test-o. Pass the pasta please." the host smiles as the pasta dish slides along the table, causing the other pate to hit the ground with a crash.

He stabs his fork into the dish, and puts the noodles in his mouth. He chews, slurping up the noodles hanging from his mouth, and swallows. He smiles once more, and gives a chef's kiss to express his delight. The camera cuts to show Dave and Courtney watching the host with nervous expressions.

"On a scale of one to ten, fifteen!" Chris says, turning to the camera as he continues. "How will the gophers respond?" The camera pans over and the Bass can be seen holding some maracas, and wearing sombreros. Brick gestures towards the door, and after several seconds of silence, he walks in. He looks on in horror as he sees their food being eaten by flies, raccoons, and mice. "What in TARNATION happened Amy?" he yells to the girl as he whacks the animals with a broom, scattering them towards the door and out.

"I tried to stop them, but there were so many!" Amy says, huddling in a corner. Brick shoves her out the swinging doors, the remains of the Paella in hand. Chris had just finished the Ensalada templada, giving the Bass ten points for having something presentable.

She sets it and the idol down in front of the host, who gives it a wary look. "This looks, eaten." he says, pointing to the nearly empty dish with a frown.

"Uh, hello? There's some in the corner, can't you see?" Amy says as the camera zooms in to a corner of the dish, showing one piece of shrimp, some rice, and some cooked veggies left. Chris picks it up with his spoon, and shoves it in his mouth. He thinks to himself for a second, before swallowing and giving them a smile.

"You know, I've had worse. Two points!" he exclaims, and Amy gasps in anger. "What?! Two points!?" she growls, before Chris puts his hands up.

"Whoa, whoa, slow your roll. The Gophers are still up fifteen to twelve, but you can still win this. Bring out...dessert!"

/

Chris rips a bite of the custard filled desserts the Gophers had prepared, and Duncan and Courtney watch with nervous looks before looking at each other and smiling. The host swallows, and looks at the two. "Ehhhhhh, six." he says, and the two teens frown at their low score. "The Gophers have twenty-one points. The Bass need a miracle to just tie things up." Chris says as Dawn and Zoey set the flan down in front of Chris.

"I've gotta say, this dessert looks like a winner to me." he says as the girls gain big smiles on their faces as he puts his fork into the Flan, pulling a piece off. He takes a bite of the caramel dessert, and gasps before coughing and choking on the dessert.

"Don't worry sir, I'll save you!" Brick yells as he puts Chris in the heimlich maneuver, and he spits up the piece he was chewing on.

"What the heck is that stuff? Is it just pure sugar?!" he asks the Bass.

"Well, Jo did tell us to remake the Flan...OH MY GOSH! Jo is still in the freezer!" ZOey yells as she runs into the kitchen. Chris shoots the team a questioning look. "What?" Brick responds. "She was getting on everyone's nerves." the cadet shrugs.

"Oh I hear that." Chris responds before making a ghastly face, along with the rest of the Killer Bass. "Oh my lord…" Brick says before fainting.

Jo's now blue face can be seen glaring right at her teammates, the jockette shivering from the cold. "You guys are a-all d-d-dead." she says, shivering even more. "Is it over? Did my Spanish theme win?" she asks looking back at Chris.

"It is! The Gophers won twenty-one to twelve. And it's not just because I almost ate pure sugar. The Paella sucked too."

"Oh great. That's just what we needed. Another freaking loss!" she turns her attention back to the table, where the tiki doll still sat, unbeknownst to the host. "What is that? I didn't say this could go on the table, it's not even Spanish themed!" she yells. "But that's you-"

"It's Amy's." Dawn says, interrupting the mean twin who gasps and growls at the mystics' words. "She brought it back from the cursed island." She calmly says, and Chris gasps, standing up and clutching his hair.

"You mean Boney Island? The deadliest island in Muskoka?! The one I specifically said not to take anything from, or you'll be cursed?!" he says, eyebrow raised as Amy nervously backs up. "I-i-it wasn't supposed to turn out like this! Jo was supposed to take the blame...URGHHHHH!" she yells, storming out the door in frustration.

The camera cuts back to Chris, who turns to the camera. "Okay, the Gophers now lead with seven members with the Bass' soon to be six. And, as promised, the winners will be enjoying a reward tonight. A five star dinner, under the stars." he finishes as the shot cuts to the now celebrating Gophers team. "We did it!" Duncan grabs Courtney and pulls her into a hug, and they continue to celebrate. "Okay, put me down!" she laughs. "Put me down!" she yells after a couple seconds, and the delinquent nervously smiles as he sets her back down on her feet.

/

Outside the Bass cabin, several members of the team sit on the porch, discussing something. "I'm telling you guys, Jo has got to go!" Brick says to his teammates.

"Yeah, but Amy had that cursed doll thingy or whatever, that's probably why we've lost the last two challenges." Tyler retorts.

"Fair point soldier." Brick replies, and Zoey sighs. "I just feel like we're not getting along as a team anymore with either of them around." she slumps down on the steps, and Mike and Dawn nod in agreement.

"Friends, Zoey is right, we must choose one of them to leave, but if we want to get rid of this cursed energy, Amy must leave tonight."

xxx

(static)

"I really wish I could vote for more than one person again." Jo grumbles, finally a normal color once more. "This team is horrible at nearly everything!"

(static)
"I can't believe I locked Jo in the freezer!" Brick laughs as he wipes a tear from his face. "Ohhh she was so upset." he says.

(static)

"I can't get that Svetlana person to help us because we haven't had a physical challenge in so long! Ugh, this whole competition is starting to get to me." she groans as the jockette facepalms.

(static)

"I'd love to vote for Jo, but Dawn is right, Amy and her curses have to go." Bric says, suddenly gaining a worried look on his face. "Jo won't see these will she?"

The scenery shifts to nightfall, as the island is shown in its full glory, the moon rising high above the island's cliffs. The camera zooms in on the campfire pit area, the suspenseful elimination music starting up once again. The Bass logo appears in the corner as the campes sit in front of the fire, Jo and Brick giving each other the stink eye, and everyone else glaring at Amy.

"I've got seven Bass in front of me, but only six bits of sweet fluffy safety in my hands." Chris says as he walks towards the group, the plate in his hand. "So, good luck." he says, setting the plate down on the stump in front of him.

"If I call your name, come up and get your marshmallow." the host says before calling out the first name. "Mike." the boy happily hops up and grabs his treat. "Brick." the cadet walks up and tosses his marshmallow into his mouth on his way back to his seat. "Zoey." the indie chick smiles and gets up. "Dawn." The mystic stands up and follows Zoey, both grabbing their safety item and sitting back down, the camera lingering on the plate as the number of marshmallows has dwindled down to two. "Tyler." the jock breathes a sigh of relief, and goes to grand the second to last treat.

"Jo, Amy, it's down to you." Chris says as the camera pans back to the host, who leans down towards the plate. "Whoever doesn't get this last marshmallow," he gestures towards the final fluff, "must immediately walk the dock of shame, and leave on the Boat of Losers. Forever." Both girls give glares to each other, the music intensifying with every second.

"The final marshmallow goes to…"Chris says as the camera pans back between Jo, Amy, and the last marshmallow. The music peaks, and the camera pans between an even closer shot of both girls' angry expressions towards each other. "Jo." Chris motions to the jockette, who quickly grabs her marshmallow and turns to her team.

"You're all so lucky. I'm gonna make you guys wish you hadn't even considered voting me off!" she angrily yells at her team. "And you. You thought you could pin the blame on me and get away with it?! Think again Lamey!" she taunts.

"Urgh STOP calling me that! I'll get my revenge on all of you! Just you wait!" She says as Chef appears and drags the squirming girl down the dock. "Hey! You can't do this to me! I deserve this more than all of you!" she screams, as Chris watches with an amused face.

"Well, that's it for tonight. You guys might want to burn some sage to get rid of any lingering curse vibes." Chris says, and Dawn perks up. "Worry not friends, I have just enough sage to get rid of this curse." she says and the team cheers, Jo giving a shrug of nonchalance.

On a nearby cliff surrounded by pine trees, the silhouette of a wolf can be seen in front of the moon. The wolf howls into the night, and the camera cuts to the Gopher cabin. The shot moves inside where Dave lies sleeping, unaware of the silhouette next to his bed, the shadow comes into focus, and it is revealed to be Duncan. He takes the Normals Guy's hand and sticks it in a bucket of water. The boy groans and a tinkling sound can be heard. Duncan snickers quietly to himself. "No way, it actually works!" he whispers excitedly. Another form appears next to Duncan, and this time it's Geoff who appears.

"Dude… that's kinda funny" the party boy snickers, and they both start to laugh uncontrollably, the camera cutting to a shot of the cabin once more.

So, one of the more villainous characters has been eliminated! Amy's streak of using the cursed statue was short lived, and it came back to bite her after it ruined two of their teams chances at winning. And even though she planned to sabotage Jo and get her kicked off, Dawn sniffed her out and quickly alerted the team of Amy's actions. It also didnt help that she brought the idol out with her, ruining any chance of her plan working. Overall, this was a fun chapter to write, albeit not a ton of material to work with because this episode is a lot of short clips, and it's a cooking challenge. Not very fun to show the teens standing around waiting for the food to finish.

More characters got to show their personality, like Duncan and Dave for example. I also got to venture down a road I think will be fun, and that's Dave and Jasmine's friendship. I also got to explore Duncney a lot more this chapter, with Courtney starting to let loose just a bit. Also, having Jo get stuck in the freezer instead of Heather was more for Heather to make up with Ella, but she is the perfect candidate to be trapped. Anyways, I wrote this all in two days, so if the reasoning of how the statue got to the table seems shaky, I'm sorry. That is my bad XD

Anyways, I will be working hard on this week's chapter to come out on schedule, so be on the lookout, and I look forward to your reviews!
