Chapter 12
Authors Notes
Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed the last chapter, as no one was eliminated! There are still thirteen campers left competing for the one-hundred thousand dollars, and one of them is going home. This episode was honestly pretty fun to write, but it wasn't one of my favorites to watch. Never the less, the story continues on! I hope you guys have enjoyed it thus far. It's been a joy to write. With regards to the reviewers;
Shuffollower : Haha! Glad it caught you off guard. There is a reason for this, and you'll know why soon. I never thought about a double elimination to be honest, but you never know, Might change my mind!
Zeke the Prophet : Glad you found the non-elimination interesting! I wanted to incorporate one this season, and this chapter was the perfect opportunity. I am definitely thinking about doing a double elimination at some point, i just don't know when. Yes, Manitoba makes his debut!
millikan : Haha I'm glad no elimination surprised you! You'll have to see if there's a double elimination waiting.
romeoaifesili : Yeah I felt as if Dawn would have quite a few more friends in this cast than she did in Revenge of the island. Her and Ella would get along really well I think. As for Jo getting upset and messing with Brick, can you blame her? But hopefully since they won, maybe she'll calm down a bit. Yes, Ella has eyes for Duncan now that he saved Bunny, so that makes for an interesting dynamic. And finally, yes no elimination this week! I figured it would be a big surprise, but I have a plan in mind, so don't worry.
Alright, onto Chapter 12! I hope you all enjoy it!
(The poll is now up on my profile, so vote on it if you would like)

(Start Episode)
"Previously, on Total Drama Island," Chris starts as the capstone theme starts to play in the background, "our thirteen remaining campers were going through a rough patch, so I decided to give them some...bonding time!" the host laughs while clips of Jo and Ella sliding down the cliffside and Ella dropping Heather into the pond are shown on screen.
"The teams formed several pairs and competed in several normal and blind trust building exercises around the island, with...interesting results!" Clips of a blind Duncan pelting Dave with apples, Heather feeding Geoff the toxic blowfish, and Jo grinning as she yanks on Brick's climbing line all appear on screen as well.
"The Gophers and Bass were neck in neck, and needed one last extreme challenge to determine the winner." Chris says as both teams are shown racing down the cliffside on bobsleds, the hill exploding behind them as the blindfolded drivers shout frantically.
"And just as the Bass thought they had the win in the bag, the Gophers made and explosive finish to win the challenge!" the host voices over as the Gophers sled is seen falling onto the finish line from above, their team cheering loudly after winning.
"Or..that's what I would say if they hadn't cheated, giving the Bass the victory!" he continues, a clip of the Bass celebrating their newfound win.
It was back to the elimination ceremony, where a surprise waited for them. No one was eliminated!" Chris says, and a clip of the team looking at the host with wide eyes before all of them smile or holler in pure excitement. The clips ends, and Chris is sitting on a lounge chair by his trailer, aviators resting on his eyes and a glass in his hand.
"It's still anyone's game! Who will take charge of the Gophers and gain an advantage? And will someone please refill my lemonade?!" He shouts, looking around with a frown before returning his signature smile towards the camera.
"Find out right now, on Total, Drama, Island!" the camera zooms out with every word, the theme peaking as the island is shown in it's full glory. "Is anyone gonna help me out here?!" Chris shouts angrily.

Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine
You guys are on my mind
You asked me what I wanted to be
And now I think the answer is plain to see
I wanna be famous
I wanna live close to the sun
Well pack your bags cause I've already won
Everything to prove nothing in my way
I'll get there one day
Cause I wanna be famous

Duncan and Geoff mill around on their cabins porch, Geoff resting on the steps while Duncan artfully carves a skull into the cabin with his pocket knife, ribbons of wood falling with every slice.
The door swings open, and Dave walks out, a disheveled and tired look on his face. "Hey dorkaholic, how'd you sleep?" Duncan says, looking at the tired boy. "You would know, you're the reason I didn't sleep." Dave replied flatly.
A flashback begins, and the Gophers cabin is shown. The camera zooms in, and Dave and Duncan can be seen lying in their bunks. Dave grimaces while holding a pillow over his head to drown out a loud, gravelly noise.
Duncan runs the edge blade of his knife along the mug he had stolen earlier, making a low but loud scraping sound. He grins as he hears Dave groan in annoyance. The flashback ends and Geoff can be seen snickering softly as Duncan continues to play aloof. "Hey c'mon, I can't help that I snore that loudly." the delinquent grins widely, and Dave rolls his eyes at him.
"Whatever, I'm gonna go take a shower" the Normal Boy says, walking past Duncan. Just as he makes his way down the stairs, the loudspeaker can be heard turning on. "Listen up you little cockroaches!" Chef's commanding voice shouts through the loudspeakers, a military drumline playing.
"I want all campers, to report to the dock of shame at 0900 hours!" The teens can all be seen looking at one another in confusion as to what the hulking man meant. "That means now soldiers NOW!" he yells, the camera shaking with his powerful voice. The teens frantically fall over each other, sprinting towards the dock.
/
The thirteen remaining campers line up on the dock, a sergeant dressed Chef stoically standing in front of them. "Line up and stand at attention." he shouts, megaphone in one hand, pointer in another. Brick already standing to full attention, watches as Chef berates the others.
"You call this a formation?! Feet together,"he says, smacking Geoff in his legs, "arms down," he smacks Duncan's arms down, "eyes straight," Jasmine turns her head directly to the camera, "head up!" Chef finishes, putting his pointer under Mike's chin and tilting it up.
He walks towards Tyler, and smacks him with his pointer several times, and Tyler stands to attention, an annoyed look on his face. "Oh this'll be great.." Dave grumbles to a now smiling Jasmine.
"Did you say somethin'?!" Chef wheels around with his megaphone, whipping Dave's hair back from the force. "N-no sir?" the germaphobe replies nervously. "And you will continue to say nothin' until I tell you you can say somethin'!" he roars, Dave standing with his eyes wide in terror.
"Today's challenge will not be an easy one," the hulking man starts, pacing up and down the dock, "in fact, I do not expect all of you to make it out alive." Mike snickers at the comment, and receives a smack in the back from Chef. "Hey that hurt!" he says, glaring at Chef.
"My orders are to make all of you sissies drop out of my boot camp..except one!" he continues, still pacing past the teens. "Last one standing wins immunity for their team." he says, and Heather looks at the man with a confused expression. "Uhhh, what happened to Chris?" she asks, but Chef ignores her and presses on.
"Rule number one! You will address me as..Master Chief! Have you got that?!" he says, looking around with a nervous expression. "Yes Master Chief!" the campers shout in unison. "You will sleep when I tell you to sleep, and you will eat only when I tell you so! Is that clear?!" he shouts.
"Yes Master Chief!" Geoff shouts, his nervous expression reflecting off of Chef's aviator sunglasses. "Rule number two! When you are ready to give up, walk to the end of the dock and ring the bell." he points towards the end of the dock, where a small golden bell hangs from a wooden post.
"And that brings me to rule number three! I'd like to get a quitter before the end of the day. And that day will not end until someone drops out!" He turns to face the teens one last time. "Now get your butts down to the beach soldiers! Now, now, now!" He hollers through the megaphone, the campers screaming by him to rush to the beach.

"Okay, I don't know who thought it would be a good idea putting Chef in charge...he's a psycho!" Tyler confesses to the camera. "He once dumped an entire dumpster full of grease on Mike because he didn't like his spaghetti! We're all gonna die…" he moans, burying his face in his hands.

"Listen up!" Chef shouts, standing behind two canoes, the campers waiting for the man to continue. "Each team must hold a canoe over their head. I catch you taking your hands off the canoe, and you will be eliminated." he growls, pointing at the gulping campers.
"And no one eats lunch, until someone drops out. Canoes UP!" he shouts, and both teams lift their canoes above their heads, red for the Bass and green for the Gophers. "Ha! This is a piece of cake! I could do this all day!" Jo confidently tells her team, to which Brick nods. "Affirmative, this is a simple exercise. We got this in the bag."
/
The sun blazes high in the sky, ripples of heat flowing down from the scorching ball. Both teams' logos appear, as the camera pans down to show the exhausted looking teens.
Courtney's arms shake from exhaustion, and Jo's stomach rumbles in hunger. "Come on you sissies, it's only been three hours!" Chef calls out, to which Jo rolls her eyes.
"Looks like they missed lunch today." Chris says, suddenly making his appearance. He watches the kids with a smile and the camera quickly cuts back to Chef.
"Mmhmm. I guess they just weren't hungry! Unless someone just wants to quit now!" he shouts, the camera zooming out to show the hulking man and the host sitting on top of each canoe, adding several hundred pounds to the canoe's weight.
Dave stands underneath the canoe with a bored look on his face, when a ripping sound is heard from behind him. He looks around with a horrified look on his face, before resting his eyes on a smiling Duncan.
The delinquent smiles and holds up his underwear for him to see. Dave just sighs and turns around, and Duncan frowns and glares at the boy.

"It's like nothing I do gets to the dork!" Duncan shouts frustrated, hands thrown up in the air in annoyance. "Am I losing my mojo? Or is he just that unbothered?" He asks, a concerned look forming on his face.
(static)
"Yeah Duncan really upsets me, and Heathers 'alliance' hasn't really done much for me either." Dave plainly says, arms crossed. "There's no point in making a big deal about it, so I just let it happen." the normal boy shrugs.

The moon rose high above the island, a fog settling in on the beach. The campers still held their canoes above their heads, Geoff and Mike somehow asleep and still holding their arms up.
"Twenty-five of us went into the jungle that night." Chef says in a solemn voice, aviators reflecting the light of the fire he sat next to. "Only five came out."
Zoey yawns and looks at the hulking man. "What war did you serve in?" she asks him. "Did I say you to speak? I don't remember telling you that!" Chef shouts, and Zoey just shrugs and turns away.
"Ohhh, I don't think I can do it anymore guys.." Ella somberly says, and drops her arms and begins to walk towards the dock.
She passes by Chef, who watches her with interest. "Looks like we've got ourselves a quitter!" he grins.
"Ella don't do it!" Dave calls out to the princess, but it was too late. She groans and hits her head on the bell, signaling her defeat.
The Gophers groan and set their canoe down, while the Bass toss their canoe to the side and grin widely at one another.
"Listen, you have nothing to be ashamed of." Chef says, putting a hand on her shoulder in comfort. "Except for being a big baby and letting your team down!" He shouts through his megaphone.
"The rest of you, meet me at the mess hall. Dinner is served." he shouts, and the teens cheer that dinner had arrived.
/
"Alright maggots listen up!" Chef calls out from the main lodge, where the teens and Chris have all gathered. "You've got ten minutes to eat before night training, so get to it!" He tells them, and they groan after hearing about night training.
"Umm Master Chief? Where's our food?" Brick hesitantly asks him. "You're looking at it." Chef chuckles, gesturing to the many trash cans next to him.
Mike, Dawn, and Tyler all look down into the can with disgusted faces. "This is the leftover garbage from breakfast this morning." Tyler says, looking at Chef with confusion. "Darn right! In war, you take what you can get!" Chef shouts, a frown on his face.
The jock sifts through the trash, and pulls out a fish skeleton. He shivers before tossing it and reaching back in. "Well, it looks like you've got this under control." Chris says, turning to the cook. "I'm off to craft services. Coming?" he asks as he walks away. "Serve me some of that!" Chef says, following him out of the lodge.
As the rest of the teens sift through the garbage, Heather scoffs and takes a step back. "There is no way that I'm eating that." she frowns, and Courtney nods in agreement. "I'm not eating anything from that either!" she huffs, just as Duncan walks by with a glass of juice.
"What? Don't like what's on the menu princess?" he grins as he walks past. The Type A huffs once more. "I'm going to be running for the oval office someday, I don't need someone digging up a file of me eating garbage!"
"Hey Dave, I felt really bad about the whole underwear incident, so I brought you a glass of juice." the delinquent says, holding out a cup with suspicious looking liquid inside. Dave looks at the cup, then back up at Duncan with a raised brow. "Yeah sure, that's totally juice." he deadpans, and Duncan growls. He dumps the cup over Dave's head, and he recoils in shock.
"That's kitchen grease, germaphobe. Better go wash off!" he says angrily, and Dave, now horrified, runs towards the bathroom with a scream. "Wow, you are so immature. I hope you're proud of yourself." Courtney says as she walks over to the snickering teen.
"Ok look. I know you like me, the dweeb knows you like me, everyone does!" he says, leaning in closer to Courtney. "So here's a tip. If you want to kiss me, I might just let you." He smirks as he steps back, and she scoffs. "As if! And to think I thought you were nice!" she angrily replies.
"Ahh-ahey-um, nice? Why would you think that?" Duncan quickly says in a panic, signaling Courtney to stop talking. "Why would you think that?" Geoff asks, his attention caught after hearing what Courtney had said. "Nevermind, I was mistaken. He's just as gross and repulsive as he wants you all to think." she sighs, walking away from the delinquent.
/
A very familiar 80's tune plays on a silver boombox, Chef dancing on a raised platform. He dances to the music, doing all sorts of moves. Shimmies, leg twists, head bobs, and hip thrusts. The remaining campers can be seen following suit, all in sync to Chef and the familiar tune. They continue for several minutes, and the camera zooms in on Chef as he continues to thrust, and the music abruptly stops.
The campers sigh in relief, and Chef wheels around to see Duncan take his hand away from the boombox. He looks up at the cook and grins. "Duncan, what are you doing?" Courtney shouts. "You said if one of us drops out, we're done." he stares up at the now angry Chef.
"We're done, when I SAY we're done. Now drop and give me twenty!" he shouts, and Duncan rolls his eyes before getting down and starting his pushups. "Anyone else have anything they want to say?" he shouts, and Jasmine clears her throat. "Yeah…can I use the bathroom?" she asks.
/
Jasmine stands in the communal bathroom, a mop and gloves in her hands. "Not really what I meant, but whatever." she says before starting to move the mop across the floor.
/
"For your next challenge," Chef tells the campers who are all gathered in the main lodge once more, logos spinning above their respective tables, "you will complete a three hundred word essay on how much you love me." he says with a sadistic grin before continuing. "Anyone who falls asleep or fails to complete their essay will be eliminated! You may begin!" he shouts, the camera cutting to the clock on the far side of the wall, reading 9:30pm.
The clock skips forward to 12:30am, and the camera cuts back to the teens. Heavy bags under their eyes, some campers yawn, some snore, and even Brick and Jo stare off into space as they write absent mindedly. Chef walks amongst the campers to grab their papers, and Tyler frantically scribbles some more words on his sheet before it is snatched away.
"I love Master Chief. He is very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very…" Chef reads Duncans paper aloud, growing softer with every word. "This is just one sentence with five pages of very's!" Chef throws the papers in the air, and Duncan laughs.
"It's three hundred words, just like you asked! If you want you can count them all to make sure." Chef rolls his eyes and walks away, only to slip and fall. Mike sits at his table, drool running down his chin and onto the floor.
"Wipe this up you scrawny baby!" Chef shouts before pointing at an asleep Dawn and Geoff. "You two slackers are out! The rest of you, get some sleep and report back to the mess hall at 0500 hours for morning training!" the hulking man shouts, now splattered in drool.
"You missed a spot general." Duncan slyly comments, holding a rag towards the man. "Boy! Do you want to run fifty laps around this island right now?!" Chef says as he leans in, towering over the teen. Courtney grabs the green haired boy and pulls him away quickly. "No, he doesn't Master Chief, he'll learn to behave himself." she says as she glares at Duncan, who still has an indifferent look.
"You need to get a hold of yourself! We can't have you eliminated!" She hisses at him. Duncan smirks at her comment. "I didn't know you cared princess."
"I don't. I just don't want to lose this challenge. So for once, please just listen to what Chef says!" she says, and walks away. Duncan and Heather watch her walk away, and Duncan puts out a fist. "She wants me." he says, and Heather laughs before nodding and returning the gesture to Duncans surprise.

"Uhhh...what was that about? Heather never plays nice, unless it's with her little 'alliance' she somehow still has together." Duncan looks at the camera with a worried look.

The camera pans over a long obstacle course, with a tall wall, rope swing, tire hoops, and even swinging axes stationed throughout the deep, thick mud. "You will all run this course until you can all run it in under a minute. Do I make myself clear?" he shouts, popping up in front of Duncan. "Crystal." was the delinquents reply.

"Finally!" Brick cheers, looking really excited. "I can finally put my academy training to the maximum test!" he says, rubbing his hands together in excitement. "No one's gonna outperform me in this one."

"If you lose this for us, I'll make sure you're gone." Courtney narrows her eyes at Duncan. "Move maggots, MOVE!" Chef shouts, as the teens rush towards the wall to start their runs. As a fast paced tune starts to play, Jo and Brick arrive at the wall first, and easily hop over and jump down, sprinting in a dead heat towards the next obstacle.
Heather arrives and jumps through the tires with no issue, while Tyler attempts to do the same, but smacks his face against the tire instead. Mike and Zoey nervously army crawl underneath the swinging axes, to finish their first run. Dave nervously grabs the rope swing, and Jasmine joins him. They swing to the other side, rolling down the slope towards the next obstacle.
As Tyler makes his way over the wall once more, he falls face first into the mud. He lifts his head up, looking dazed before his eyes go wide and he begins to puke mud. "Um, Master Chief? I think Tyler can't keep going.." Mike says, stopping near the still puking boy.
"Ring the bell and report to the infirmary. Your tour of duty is done, soldier." Chef says, and Tyler walks away, head hung in shame.
/
The campers continue their runs at the obstacle course. Jasmine easily leaps over the wall, landing on the other side with a thunderous crash. Zoey leaps through the tires, but her foot gets caught on the tire, and she falls into the mud, leg still hanging. Heather frowns deeply, and is seen hanging upside down from the rope swing, her legs tangled in the rope.
Brick confidently makes his way under the axes, but gets stuck in some deep mud. He starts to sink, but no matter how hard he struggles, he can't escape the muds grasp. "Fallen soldier, I salute you!" Duncan says, crawling past the cadet and right into Chef's army boots.
Duncan slowly looks up and sheepishly smiles at the cook. "You just earned yourself another twenty!" he shouts, Duncan grinning widely. "Thank you so much!" he says, and lunges up, kissing Chef on the nose.
Chef screams in anger, the background turning red. "One night solitary confinement." Chef says, veins pulsing in anger, a beating heart heard in the background. "Doesn't sound too bad." Duncan shrugs.
"In...the boathouse." Chef finishes, and the campers gasp, and Duncan looks around in confusion. "What? That doesn't sound so bad." he says, and Jo laughs at the delinquent, camera panning to her. "HA! Serves you right for the talking back you did to that idiot general of ours." she says, pointing to Chef, who snarls.
"Sweatsuit! You can join Duncan in solitary as well! NOW GO!" he screams, and Jo looks at Chef first with shock, then with anger. "Fine, whatever. I can take one night in a lame boring boathouse."
/
Sharp objects glint in the moonlight, from fish hooks, to spearheads, and even shark jaws. Duncan and Jo sit on wooden crates, hands on their chin, grumbling to themselves. "Me and my big mouth." they both say. A wolf howls in the distance, and they both look around with wide eyes.
xxxx
A bowl of nasty white paste sits on the table in the main lodge, and a pair of hands grab it. "I'm going to go check on him. He hasn't had any dinner." Courtney says, looking outside longingly. "Do you like him?" Mike asks from the Bass table. The Type-A rushes over and slams her free hand onto the table.
"Not only do I not like him, I think he's repulsive, disgusting, he never listens to anyone...I'm gonna go check on him." she quietly finishes, rushing out the door. Mike watches her leave with a knowing smile.
/
The boat house comes into view, a light cutting through the dark to illuminate the door. Courtney approaches the building, flashlight and food in hand. "Duncan?" she asks, opening the door to the musty wooden structure. The camera pans right and Duncan calmly whistles a tune while sweeping the floor, Jo still grumbling on a box. "Princess!" Duncan perks up, throwing his broom away, Jo turning her eyes to the new presence.
"I wish you'd stop calling me that." she says, the delinquent stopping short of Courtney. "Still wanting that kiss?" he asks, Courntey returning a small smile and holding up the gruel. "Even pigs deserve a meal." She softly replies. Duncan peers into the bowl, and grimaces. "I think I'll stick with the bait." He says, pointing to a bucket full of wriggling worms.
"Give it here! I haven't eaten anything all day!" Jo says, running towards the two, snatching the bowl from Courtneys hands. She goes to pull the spoon out, but the utensil won't budge. She grunts in frustration, pulling with all her might but to no avail. She stops, panting before angrily throwing the bowl away. "That guy can't cook anything right!" she cries out in frustration.
"Anyways, why do you need to egg Chef on like that? You know nothing good comes from it." the Type-A says, Jo watching the pair with an interested look. "Why do you have to be so uptight all the time?" Jo and Duncan reply, both giving each other an understanding look, before looking back at the brunette.
"I am not uptight! I just don't feel the need to break every rule in place!." she says, Duncan still smiling. "Only the ones I want to. But seriously, why do you follow them all?"
"Because not following them gets you stuck in a fish house!" she shouts, suddenly holding a fish, which she tosses away in frustration. Duncan and Jo look at each other with a smile. "But I'm in a fish house with you." he says with a flirty tone, and Courtney smiles bashfully. "Wanna ditch the joint and grab some PB&J? He asks, Courtney now looking up with excitement.
"YES! All we've had is that gruel." she shudders, before sulking. "But there's no way Chef will give us any."
"See, that's the problem with your thinking!" Duncan says, pointing at the girl as he talks. "There is a way we can get some, but it'll involve breaking a few rules. Are you in?" he asks, and Courtney looks around hesitantly before smiling happily. "Yes, I'll do it!" she says, and the pair high fives.
"I want in too! I'm bored out here!" Jo intervenes, walking up to the two. "Alright then, the more people, the more food for us!" Duncan smiles, giving Jo a fist bump.
/
Outside the crafts tent, Duncan, Jo, and Courtney quietly approach, disguised as bushes. They poke their heads out of their disguises, and Duncan gives Courtney a smile.
/
"Slowly, slowly…" Duncan whispers to the pair of girls as they quietly crawl behind a table full of food towards the fridge. Chris and Chef can be heard talking in the background as Duncan opens up the fridge, and starts putting jars of peanut butter, jelly, and other desserts and snacks into some bags they had brought.
"If we get caught, we are so dead!" Courtney whispers, smiling as Duncan continues to stockpile, and Jo keeps a lookout. "You really don't get out much do you?" Jo whispers back to the pair, to which Duncan stifles a laugh, and Courtney rolls her eyes before Duncan takes one final dessert.
"Okay, lets bounce you guys!" he whispers, but Jo approaches the fridge with a fish from the boathouse. "Here's your dessert general." she snickers, Duncan grinning as the jockette closes the door, and the three take off into the woods, Courtney cheering loudly as food falls from their overflowing bags.
/
In the Gophers cabin, the campers all snack on the goods the three had brought back, and talk amongst themselves while enjoying real food. "I was hoping to do more of that obstacle course…" Brick sighs, but pops another cookie into his mouth. "But the cookies are sweet!" he smiles, and pours the whole plate into his mouth.
"Don't fall into a sugar coma yet, we've got a challenge to win!" Jo shoots the boy a cocky look, to which Brick smiles and salutes in return. "I gotta say, Chef's stories do sound a bit far-fetched to me." the cadet says, and Zoey nods in agreement. "Yeah! I just can't see any of them being true either." She says, sitting by a plate of brownies.
Courtney walks over and grabs the last one, but Zoey grabs her hand. "I think you've had too many already Courtney, you'll puke if you java any more." the indie girl says, a concerned look on her face. "Hahahaah! Jus-just one more. Hahaahaa!" the brunette laughs, clearly in an adrenaline rush. She stuffs the brownie in her mouth, groaning in pain.
"I probably shouldn't have done that.." she moans before belching loudly, bits of brownie flying everywhere. She quickly runs out the door, Dawn and Jo watching with smiles draped on their faces.
The Type-A leans over the railing and starts to puke profusely, retching in pain. "So the princess has a dark side." Duncan smiles as he walks over to the brunette. She turns around, holding onto the railing for support. "Ugh, it felt so good to be bad for once. Like onc I started doing something bad, I just wanted to do more and more!" She stands up, grinning at the delinquent.
"You could always give me that kiss. That would be pretty bad." he hints, but Courtney ruffles his hair. "Nice try, but you're still not my type." she smiles flirtatiously. Duncan rolls his eyes and smiles. "Yeah? Well have fun living a peanut butter-less life." he says, crossing his arms and turning away. "Thanks! You enjoy life without jelly." Courtney says as she copies the boy's actions.
Courtney suddenly grabs Duncan's head in her hands, and kisses him right on the lips. The green harried boy looks at her in shock, before melting into the kiss. She pulls away, waving at him as she leaves, Duncan swooning on the porch.
Geoff walks out, and puts his arm around the teen. "DUDE! That's huge!" the party boy shouts. "Told you she wanted me." Duncan gives the boy a fist bump.
Unbeknownst to the two boys, Ella watches through the cabin window, and gasps loudly. Tears forming in her eyes, she backs away from the window and slides down to the floor.
"Ella? Are you ok?" Heather says, walking over to the princess. She shakes her head as she wipes away the tears. "I thought Duncan had eyes for me, not Courtney!" she sniffs. Heather steps away, a scheming look forming on her face.

"I need to gain Ella's trust again, and I think I know exactly how to do that!" she smiles evilly, rubbing her hands together.

The loudspeaker turns on once more, and Chef's booming voice echoes throughout the island. "Get some sleep and meet me in the forest clearing at 0700 hours. And if I find the person who stole my dessert, you're dead meat!"
/
On the branches of a tall tree, three members from each team hang upside down with their legs, Chef walking below them with a watchful eye.
"What you are experiencing in an ancient form of torture. By now, the blood has probably rushed to your head, making you feel light headed."
Duncan starts to wobble, and his eyes go cross-eyed. "In the second stage, you will become dizzy, and start to lose your vision as the blood rushes into your eyes." Chef calls out as Duncan smiles and falls off the branch, slamming into the ground with a thud.
"Duncan! Are you ok?" Courtney cries out to the fallen boy, who groggily gives her a thumbs up signaling he's ok. The Type-A looks around, then grabs the branch with her arms with a smile, Dave doing the same.
The rest of the campers follow suit, Jo, Brick, and Mike hanging for the Bass. "This is nothing for me, I did this type of training in boot camp all the time!" Brick confidently says, before swooning and falling off the tree himself.
"Nice going, dumbass.." Jo says, rolling her eyes as Brick is dragged out of harm's way by Zoey. Mike watches the cadet being carried away, and looks at Jo with a questioning eye.
"Hahaaaha!" Courtney giggles uncontrollably, before attempting to talk. "Are-are you ok-hahahahaha!" She bursts out laughing again, and falls off the branch herself. She lands on her feet as Chef approaches the brunette.
"Girl, you've got some explaining to do.." he frowns. Courtney giggles before responding. "Master Chief, I have something to say to you."
"And what might that be?" He asks, eyebrows raised in questioning. "You really need to take a chill pill." the Type-A laughs while walking away. Chef boils in rage, a teapot whistling in the background for effect.
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Duncan says, Courtney giving him a high five. "You got this Dave!" She shouts as she puts an arm around the delinquent, both watching the Normal Boy with grins.
"You guys can do it!" Zoey cheers, and Mike bashfully smiles. "You can count on us!" He replies, Jo grinning in agreement. Several minutes pass by, with no one dropping. Dave looks over at the two Bass players and gives them a look.
"So, how've you guys been?" he asks his former teammates. "Good! I think I'm starting to finally get somewhere with Zoey!" Mike says, smiling back at his former teammate.
"Eh, I guess I could be worse. I am still here after all." Jo says nonchalantly. She looks over at Mike, who starts to swoon with exhaustion. "I better get down before I pass out too. You got it Jo?" he asks, the jockette scoffing at his question.
"Heck yeah! I could do this all day!" she gives the scrawny guy a confident look. Both continue to hang up on the branches for several more minutes, before Dave starts to slip. "Wh-what? Why am I slipping?" Dave cries, his legs slipping out from his pants, and he desperately hangs on with his hands. "Whoaoaah!" the germaphobe screams as he falls to the ground, pantless.
"Woohoooo! We won again!" Jo cheers, hopping down from the branch, her teammates carrying her in their arms in victory. "Jo, congratulations! I'd go to war with you anytime soldier!" Chef shouts as they carry her past the saluting man. "Uhhh, thanks?! I'll keep that in mind when I choose my career…" she says, as she passes by. "You do that soldier! You do that!" he cries out, a tear running down his face.
"Duncan, how could you cut Dave's belt?" Heather asks the delinquent, who looks at her with confusion. "What are you talking about? I never cut the dweebs belt." he glowers, and Heather tosses the boy's belt at Duncan. He looks down, and sees a large, jagged cut through the belt, and Dave gasps as he lifts something off the ground.
There in Dave's hands sat Duncans knife, a piece of leather stuck on the tip of the blade. Courtney gasps, and Duncan backs away in fear. "W-wait, that's impossible! I was framed!" he says frantically, and his team glares at him with condescending eyes.

The moon casts a faint glow on the island, the firepit adding light to the area around. The camera zooms in on Chris and the Gophers as the intense tune plays once again. "I have five marshmallows on this plate. And these marshmallows represent campers...that will continue to be...campers...here." the host drags on, the team looking at Duncan with a glare, Courtney holding his hand in anxiousness.
"You've all cast your confession ballots in the confession can. If I do not call your name, you must immediately go down to the dock of shame," Chris says, camera cutting to the aforementioned dock and boat, "catch the boat of losers, and you can't come back. EVER." he finishes, smirking with evil glee.
"Jasmine." the host calls out. The Aussie smiles and gets up to grab her marshmallow. "Dave." Chris continues, and he cheers as he too walks up to the host. "Geoff, Ella, and Heather. Come on up." he calls out, and the three 'teammates' walk up together and grab their treats.
Duncan and Courtney grab a hold of each other, now knowing that one of them was going home. The dramatic music peaks, and Chris tosses the final marshmallow. "Courtney." he says as the fluffy treat lands in her lap, and Duncan stands up, shocked. "Are you kidding me?! I didn't do anything! This bites…You better find out who framed me princess! I promise I'll be waiting for you at the end!" he says, as Chris and Chef drag the boy away, and toss him onto the boat.
"Duncan wait!" Courtney calls out to him, and she leans over the railing and kisses him on the lips. "One last gift before you go." she says, and Duncan smiles at her gift. "I'll miss you babe! He calls out as the boat drives away, Courtney waving as he fades into the distance.
The camera cuts back to Heather, who smiles while standing by the fire. A flashback starts, and Heather is seen grabbing Duncans knife from his pocket, and Dave's belt from under his bed. She cuts the belt just enough for it to rip, and leaves a piece of the leather belt on the tip of the knife.
The flashback ends, and she smirks as she holds up a flaming marshmallow, a devilish smirk dressed on her face.

So! Finally another chapter is out! I hope you all enjoyed it. And Duncan is gone! I hope that surprised some of you. He and Courtney got their bonding episode, but Duncans constant bullying of Dave ended up being his downfall, when Heather framed him for messing with Dave's belt. So now Heather is slowly gaining control of her team, while Courtney just lost her biggest ally. It's getting crazy people! Final note, I put a poll out for next weeks episode, so please vote on that if you would like! See you all next week!
