Chapter 13

Authors Notes

Hello everyone! As you probably guessed, I took Christmas week off for obvious reasons. I do a lot of travelling and spend a lot of time with family, so I felt it best to postpone the story one more week. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas, and I pray that 2022 will be a year of growth for you all.

Anywho, we are halfway in this first season! I'm honestly shocked at how well this series has done so far. I was definitely not expecting all the reviews and likes and all that stuff you guys have done. It really does mean a lot to me, and I really do hope you'll stick around not just for the rest of this season, but for the entire series as well. This has been such a fun experience for me, not knowing how you guys would receive it, but the reviews have been very positive! I'm very grateful for that, but if you have a concern or criticism, please let me know. I want to make this story as good as I can for you guys. Once again, thank you so much for everything so far! Let's finish this season strong!

After all that it's time for the reviewers;

Shuffollower : I've never read Random Drama Island, but it's pretty funny that Duncans elimination was fairly similar! Courtney is in a pretty rough spot now, her only true ally is gone, so she either has to make allies fast, or she'll be gobbled up by Heather or Jo.

Yes! The re-edit was a necessary addition, I felt as Dave would be a good match for Ella, now it's about how to develop that thread into an actual legit plot point in the future.

Zeke the Prophet : Yeah, Duncan leaving was unfortunately before the merge, but who knows, he might come back during the merge...you'll have to wait and see. But you're right, him bullying Dave was the reason they lost, and with Heather and Jasmine taking control, he didn't have much leverage. Ella's quick crush was just that, a crush with not much behind it. Having that stay longer would cause problems for future plans, you'll find out.

Gucci Mane LaFlare : Thank you! It's good to have you back, glad you're able to have a computer again!

romeoaifesili : Yeah, I really did think about having Brick absolutely dominate, but then I felt it would take away from the Duncan and Dave/Courtney plot, which was the main focus of the episode. Don't worry, the cadet will get his time to shine.

Dave honestly reminded me of Noah(or at least the potential of Noah) at the start of PI, but then they ruined him. I felt him being this nerd who just takes it because he's used to it gives him more character than "insane love-sick teenager". Duncan's streak could be gone, but like you said, he might come back..you'll have to wait and see. And yes, Duncney is here! One of my fave ships in TD, I'm glad I got both of them in the same generation. Ella's heart is indeed vulnerable, and you know Heather is gonna do something about it.

millikan : Yep! A different scenario where Duncan goes home instead of Courtney. I thought it would be a nice little twist, plus I wanted to see what it would be like if she made it to the merge. You'll have to keep reading to see how she does!

Alright! Now, onto Chapter 13!

(Start Episode)

"Last time on Total Drama Island," Chris starts as the camera opens up to a full view of Camp Wawanakwa, the capstone theme playing, "I decided to take a break from my hosting duties, and let Chef whip 'em into shape!" the host says with a chipper tone, clips of the cook in question smacking the teens with his pointer, doing dance routines, and yelling at them from very close range.

"And while Chef was prepping the campers for the army, Duncan and Jo were given the lovely gift of solitary." Chris continues as Duncan is shown kissing Chef on the nose, prompting Chef to scream for the delinquent to be confined to the boat house, while the laughing Jo is also commanded by the hulking man to join him.

"But, in a not-so-surprising sequence of events, Courtney takes a bowl of food to see Duncan, and they eventually break out together to cause mischief. Awwwww!" the host says in a gooey voice, as Duncan and Courtney plan their escape, Jo joining them as they sneak towards the crafts fridge and steal every piece of food.

"But, Duncan's constant berating of Dave came back to bite him when Ella spilled the beans about her secret crush for Duncan, and Heather planting evidence against him. Sneaky sneaky.." Chris continues once more, the clip of Ella crying from the windowsill, and Duncan's knife piercing a piece of Dave's belt appear on screen.

"After a heartfelt good-bye, and another promise to a surviving camper, Courtney looks to sniff out the traitor amongst her team. Will she find out who? My money's on no!" Chris says from the inside of a yellow plane, his familiar pilots suit on. Find out right now on Total, Drama, Island!" the host says the camera zooming out with every word, showing the host flying over the island as the theme peaks.

(Fade to Intro)

Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine

You guys are on my mind

You asked me what I wanted to be

And now I think the answer is plain to see

I wanna be famous

I wanna live close to the sun

Well pack your bags cause I've already won

Everything to prove nothing in my way

I'll get there one day

Cause I wanna be famous

(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The shot opens up, and camera moves around to show the buildings of Camp Wawanakwa. The view changes to inside a dumpster, to which the lid is opened, revealing a bear. The bear reaches inside for the contents, pulling out several bags of unopened marshmallows.

Inside the cabins, the campers sleep peacefully. Geoff with his signature hat over his eyes, Jasmine on the rooftop resting under a little lean-to, and Mike constantly switching personalities, to which Tyler watches in fear.

"Every morning, Brick's alarm wakes everyone in our cabin up..except Jo." Tyler explains, looking tired and annoyed with the cadets' antics. "Well, I can't go back to sleep, but Mike can, and I see him talking to himself every morning, calling himself 'Svetlana', 'Chester', and even 'Vito'...I'm starting to think Mike is hiding something." the jock confesses, looking nervous as to what to do. "I hope I can tell someone about this." he says as he nervously rubs his arm.

Heather tosses and turns in her sleep, trying desperately to find a comfortable spot on the creaking frame. Her efforts are interrupted when the sound of a loud plane engine can be heard roaring overhead. She growls in frustration and looks out her window.

Chris can be seen in the yellow plane from the intro, speeding towards the ground as the rest of the campers step outside to watch with tired looks in their eyes. "INCOMING!" he shouts with a smile, and the plane makes a beeline for the cabins.

"Hit the deck!" Geoff shouts, and the teens scramble, screaming as they run for cover. Just before the plane hits the ground, the host pulls the junky plane up, just enough to still be above the ground.

"Yes! I can't wait until I get my pilot's license!" he shouts in exhilaration. He turns back to look out the front, and gasps as he slams into the outhouse confessional, blowing it to pieces and revealing the bear, who had apparently also decided to hide.

The plane's landing gear screeches as it comes to a stop, and the camera zooms in on Chris, whose visor lifts up as he leans out the cockpit towards the teens. "Just flexing your muscles for today's EXTREME SPORTS CHALLENGE!" the host shouts through a megaphone, the last words echoing while the campers grimace in pain from the sheer volume.

"It's way too early for this…" Zoey groans, Mike and Tyler nodding in agreement. "This week you'll participate in three challenges." Chris explains, pulling out his megaphone once more. "First up, EXTREME SOFA BED SKYDIVING!" he shouts once more before continuing. "Campers will plummet-uhh skydive to a waiting sofa bed target below." the host explains. Chef, dressed in a soldier's uniform, opens up the back hatch and tossed out a dingy looking couch, the springs popping out as soon as it hit the ground.

Chef then jumps onto the couch in demonstration, only for it to snap shut as soon as he hit the bed. His muffled screams can be heard, the campers watching in horror as Chris simply continues. "Of course, you'll be jumping from five-thousand feet, and using these!" he grins as he reaches to the seat next to him holding up two worn looking parachute packs.

He tosses them out for the two unlucky participants. "Our lucky contestants are.." the host calls out, reaching into his helmet for a list of the participating teens, "Dave, and Jo!" he says, the two former teammates looking at each other with questioning looks.

"I..guess I can jump from a plane and not die." Dave nervously reassures himself. "Oh come on Dave! Stop being such a wimp and enjoy the thrill. It'll help grow some hair on your chest." Jo confidently shouts, wrapping her arm around the Normal Boy, giving him a smirk. "Okayyyy…" Dave says, eyeing her warily from the sudden contact.

"Not so fast!" Chris shouts now standing next to the teams, holding out a hand at the two campers, the other holding his megaphone. "Because the next challenge is EXTREME RODEO MOOSE RIDING!" he blasts through the device, the camera quickly panning over to a fenced in area where a grumpy looking moose stands, a ladder leaning on the wooden posts.

Chris pops up on screen, and continues to explain the challenge. "Contestants will ride the great Canadian Bucking Moose 'Bucky' for at least eight seconds," he points to his watch, "or get hoofed into a giant pile of socks from the lost and found."

A large pile of socks sits a few feet away from the moose, the stench visible as it wafts up. "Oh that's not that bad. I've smelled worse at boot camp inside the cabins!" Brick says with a small grin on his face. "It's your lucky day then Brick," Chris pops up behind the boy, putting a hand on his shoulder, "You'll be riding for the Bass! And Geoff, you'll be riding for the Gophers!"

"He doesn't even really move! How is he gonna buck us off?" Courtney says as she peers into the pen, and Bucky sneers and kicks her right in the gut, the girl falling to the ground with a sharp cry in pain.

"And the final challenge is…EXTREME SEADOO WATER SKIING!" the host shouts once more as the scene flashes to a muddy pond full of green and red flags, two ramps, and a checkered banner standing at one end of the pond. "Contestants will water ski a race course grabbing as many flags as they can before crossing the finish line, while a member from the opposing team drives the sea-doo." the scene flashes back, and Heather walks up to Chris.

"How are we supposed to water ski without water?" she asks the host, who gains a large smile as he beckons to the pond with his free hand. "It's really hard. Check it out!" Chirs says as Chef zooms out from the woods on a junky sea-doo, screaming as he hits the ground and bounces comically into a tree, and hitting the ground after the rebound.

"Hahahaha AWESOME! Dawn, you'll be riding for the Killer Bass, and Jasmine for the Screaming Gophers." Chris says, and Jasmine gives her team a confident smile and thumbs up, to which Courtney rolls her eyes at.

"Now for the cool swag!" he continues, the music taking a serious tone. Whoever scores the most wins in the challenges gets bragging rights, saves their butts from elimination and, wins a tricked out multi massage mobile shower!" A melodious harp melody plays as the camera zooms past several trees and onto the truck, which glitters in the sunlight. Chef is seen playing a harp next to the reward, and rays of sun hit the harp and showers giving it a magical glow.

Inside the truck bed, several ahowerheads potruded, a large mirror gracing one wall, and towels and bottles of shampoo and other necessities sparkled as the remaining twelve teens gasped in awe. "Can it be?" Heather wonders aloud, hands clasped together in awe. "Oh...it be!" the host responds.

"I really don't see the point in a fancy shower. The one's we use already do the same thing." Jasmine says, and Heather rushes up to the Australian with a glare. "Listen up you amazonian survivalist, we are winning that shower no matter what. Got it?" she barks at Jasmine, who glowers but says nothing in return.

/

The plane's rotors start to spin as CHris hops back in to fly away. "Ok gang, chow for brekkie, and then report back in twenty minutes for the EXTREME SPORTS CHALLENGE!" he shouts through the megaphone, the contestants hair whipping back from the wind made by the rotors. The plane kicks up a ton of dust as it takes off, leaving the campers gasping and coughing for air.

/

Outside the dining hall, Geoff, Tyler, and Courtney can be seen leaving the building to make their way back to the clearing where their next challenge awaits. Inside the hall, Heather, Dave, and Ella start to make their way towards the door, but the Queen Bee pulls the two to the side. "Okay you two, I know I haven't been the best alliance mate to you both lately, but I want to change that! And to do that, I am willing to hear who you guys think we should consider allying with, or kicking off if we end up losing tonight." she says in a hushed tone, Dave and Ella giving each other a wide eyed look.

"Are you ok Heather? You've never asked us our opinion on anything before." Dave says, his eyebrow raised, and Ella looking at her with nervous eyes. "Relax you two, we've made it this far together, why not go all the way with me?"

xxx

(static)

"As much as it pains me to stoop down to their level, I had to do it to fully gain Ella's and Dave's trust once more." Heather snidely tells the confessional camera. "I didn't think either of them would have anything good to say, but Dave actually said something smart. I don't know whether that's a good thing or not yet." she says with a now concerned look on her face.

Both teams stand around their respective sofa beds, their respective jumpers wearing parachute packs. "Now remember, ground teams can wheelie the sofa bed wherever they want to help their comrade with the landing." Chris explains from his pilot's seat.

"Sayonara Jo! I hope the thrill is worth the chalk outline!" Heather grins as the jockette looks down at the outline of her body with a confused look. "How did you know my exact body measurements?" she asks, and the Queen Bee purses her lips but says nothing.

"Ahem!" Chris frowns deeply before continuing. "Dave and Jo, it's time to di- I mean fly!"

/

Overlooking the vast expanse of water and island mixing together, the plane flies out into the expanse of wilderness. The sliding hatch opens up, revealing both Jo and Dave, one who grins as she looks down, the other wearing several large pieces of protective gear as he trembles.

"If you could just fill these out!" Chris shouts above the roar of the engine, popping up near the two jumpers. "Didn't we already sign insurance forms at the beginning of the show?" Dave shouts back.

"Yeah, you did! But these are for organ donation!" the host continues, pointing to the forms excitedly. "I have this cool cannibal challenge I want to pitch to the producers, and this will go a long way into getting free props!"

"Here comes the drop you two!" he says, disappearing back to the cockpit. Dave and Jo peer out the side, both searching for the so-called 'drop zone'. "I don't see anything McLean!" Jo shouts, the whole island now visible in its glory.

Down below on the island, the Gopher team pushes their couch slowly up the beach. "Does anybody have any big ideas on how to get Dave's attention?" Courtney asks, looking around at her team with a condescending eye, to which Heather scoffs. "I've got something in mind." she says, as she pulls out a paintbrush from seemingly thin air.

"There! That should do it!" Heather says, the others smiling and nodding. "He'll definitely land on this sofa now." Jasmine smiles and gives Geoff a high five.

/

"Uhhh, I don't really think I want to do this anymore…Dave says, turning to Jo frightfully as they both stand by the open hatch. "Too scared short stack? Pfft, what a baby, makes it easier for me though." She grins darkly, leaning over to the boy. "Out of my way sweater vest." she says, shoving the boy out of the way...and out of the plane. Dave screams as he falls, Jo peeking her head out in surprise. "Huh, not what I mean to happen...oh well!" she shrugs.

Dave screams loudly as he falls rapidly towards the camera. He sees his team standing around the sofa bed he's supposed to land on, noticing the writing on the bed. He stops screaming and squints to take a better look, but as he does he hits the ground with such force, he makes an indent in the sand in the shape of his body. "Dave? Dude?" Geoff calls out, the boy groaning in pain as the rest of his team surrounds him.

xxx

"How am I supposed to read something from five-thousand feet up? I'm not Superman.." Dave shouts in frustration, his body in a full cast as he groans in pain.

xxx

"Alright! It's finally my turn! Time to win this thing! WOOOHOOOOOO!" the jockette shouts as she front flips out of the plane, Chris watching with an amused face.

/

The Killer Bass push their sofa bed lazily, waiting to hear their teammates shouts from above before they spring into action. "Do any of you guys think Jo is a threat to the team?" Zoey suddenly asks, gaining surprised looks from her teammates. "Why the sudden interest? You're not normally one to talk about strategy Zoey." Brick says, his eyebrow raised.

"I know, it's just that I feel like she's nicer to me than you guys, and if that bothers you I want to talk to her about it. The rest of her team look at each other in surprise, before hearing the jubilant shouts of their discussion topic.

"Quick, everyone push!" Mike shouts, and they rush into action. Rushing to meet the jockette as she races towards the ground, they unfold the bed at the last second, the jockette landing on the springy mattress with a boing. "YEAH! That was a rush if I've ever felt one!" she shouts, jumping up and down on the sofa. Just as she lands, the bed suddenly retracts inside itself, and the teens gasp. All but Zoey look at each other before walking away, whistling in ignorance while the Indie chick stares with concern.

xxx

(static)

"I never thought Zoey would talk bad about anyone!" Mike says, a look of surprise on his face. "But she has a point, Jo seems to treat her better for some reason, maybe she wants to have someone she can ally with if they both make it to the merge maybe?" he ponders.

A cinematic shot of Chris and his plane flying through the trees plays on screen, as he passes by the Gophers. "Gophers lose, Bass win! One-Zero!" the host shouts through his megaphone, as Dave is wheeled up to his team on a gurney. "Nice going Dave." Courntey sarcastically huffs towards the Normal Boy, who sighs in response as Ella, Geoff, Jasmine, and even Heather give him a sympathetic look.

/

"Ok cowfolks," Chris begins, the camera showing the side of his face, "the rodeo moose challenge!" Bucky the moose still stands in his pen, as Brick approaches the moose with a confident smile. "Alright now moose, I'm gonna show you who's in charge around here." the cadet proudly announces as he climbs onto the animals back, Mike and Dawn watching with concern.

"Be careful Brick, this poor animal has been through a lot of pain, it is a very tempered creature." Dawn says as Brick turns back around to look at both. "Don't worry men, I'll bring us another win for the team. Then you won't have to do your challenge Dawn!" he replies, as the moose snorts and growls.

Chef nervously reaches for the lock, but Bucky smashes the gate open, trampling Chef. Brick screams as he is tossed about like a rag doll, before being tossed into the air and straight into the pile of socks. "And Brick clocks a not so impressive time of seven seconds!" Chris says, popping up in front of the camera, holding a stopwatch in one hand, and a nose clip to close his nostrils.

Brick emerges from the pile, a mouthful of socks coming with him. "Alright moose dude, it's my turn!" Geoff shouts, walking up to the animal which had apparently gone back into his pen. "It's just like surfing. Once you catch the wave, you just gotta ride it out!" the surfer boy says, hyping himself up as he climbs up the ladder.

"Are you sure you can do this Geoff? There's no harm in wanting to back out." Jasmine says as she approaches the pen. The teen tips his cap to the Australian before jumping on Bucky's back. "It's all good dude. I gotta win this so we have a chance!" he says, patting the moose on the head. Bucky's eyes turn red with rage, flames coming out of his nose.

"Sweet mother of-" Chef cries out before Bucky rampages out of the pen, smashing through the pen and planting the cook directly into the dirt. Geoff screams for his life as he desperately holds on, the moose trying to buck the Party Boy off.

After a few more attempts, the moose throws Geoff off his back, his pants catching on his antlers. The boy screams as he passes over Chris' head, and into the pile of socks alongside Brick. "Well, well, ten seconds isn't the best but it's enough to win the challenge!" Chris says, before getting a frown on his face. "Hold on, replay that last clip.

The camera starts to rewind as the previous clips rewinds. "Stop it right there! Now, that is embarrassing! Can you believe my hair looked like this on TV?" Chris moans, a red circle outlining itself around the host as Geoff flies above him, covering his family jewels. "Can we get a real cosmetics team next time? This is really bothering me." he finishes.

Back in real time, the Gophers cheer as they won the second challenge, meaning the third and final challenge would decide the winner.

/

A red ATV rolls up to a stop, the camera panning up to reveal Chris aboard the vehicle. "Sooo, we have a tie!" he shouts with enthusiasm through his megaphone. "Whoever wins the EXTREME SEA-DOO WATER SKI CHALLENGE wins invincibility!" the host says, as both Jasmine and Dawn arrive in their swimwear. "I think Courtney should drive for us, she's obviously the most capable." Heather says with an obvious fake tone, but Courtney seems to not notice.

"It's about time someone realized that I'm the only hope of us winning that shower!" she snootily says as she grabs the keys from Heather. The Bass look at each other for who will drive, and Mike steps forward. "I can drive if you guys want." the lanky boys tells his team, to which they all nod.

/

Dawn sits on her skis with the handle in hand, Courntey laughing as she looks back at the mystic. "You are so not the winning type. You act more like a loser who cares more about feelings than winning." she laughs as Dawn gives her a frown and a glare.

"Here's the road rules...oh wait, there are no rules!" Chris shouts as he passes by the contestants on his ATV. "Which means, this is gonna be awesome!" he shouts.

/

"Do you really think that my idea is a good one?" Dave asks Heather, the boy still in a body cast. "Oh yeah, if we lose, COurtney takes all the blame and is gone. If not, she gets overconfident and lets her guard down for another shot at getting rid of her." the Queen Bee smirks devilishly.

/

Chris sounds his airhorn, and Courtney takes off with a roar, Dawn being pulled along. The Type-A swerves and cuts her jet ski in sporadic patterns, hoping to throw the petite girl off balance. However, despite the continuous movement and waves of mud, Dawn manages to stay on her feet, and even grab the first two flags.

Courtney growls and revs the engine, starting to swerve around obstacles at the last second making Dawn run into them. Yet every time she would hit an obstacle, she would gracefully land back on her skis, holding another flag. "How is that possible?!" Courntey looks back, baffled at a smirking Dawn, who now held six flags in her hand.

"And Courntey has been set! She has to cross the finish line or she'll automatically give the Bass all six points!" Chris shouts, driving through the mud next to the brunette. "Oh shut up Chris!" she shouts, driving off towards the finish line, before smiling evilly and turning towards Dawn. "Like I told you, I'm a winner!" she shouts, holding up a pocket knife. Dawn gasps as the Type-A brings her knife down towards the rope.

"I know who got Duncan voted out!" Dawn yells desperately. Courtney halts mid swing, looking up at the mystic with suspicious eyes. The mystic nods hastily before opening her mouth. Just as she was about to speak, the jet ski hits a bump, sending the standing Courtney flying, and Dawn and the abandoned jet ski past the finish line.

"And the Bass start off strong! To be honest, I did not expect that from Dawn at all." the host says, shrugging when Dawn shouts in protest. "Can the Gophers match the Bass and force another round, or will Dawn and her expert flag grabbing win the day?"

"Good luck Jasmine!" Geoff shouts, sitting in a tree while the stink emanates from him profusely. "Get set…" Chris finishes as he blows his airhorn once more, and Mike takes off, Jasmine being pulled behind him.

Mike takes one of the ramps, doing everything he can to ensure that Jasmine misses at least one of the flags. However, Jasmine's sheer length allowed her to grab the flag even when Mike went over the jump to avoid the flag, the Aussie snagging the first flag. "Dang it! This'll be harder than I thought!" he grumbles, then gasps and hunches over.

"Dag nab it! Let me show you how I used to ride back in my day!" Chester shouts, revving the engine and taking off. Jasmine shouts and grabs her hat, three flags in hand while her other hand holds the handle. Chester swerves and turns like a madman, Jasmine barely holding on to the handle.

"You sure are one tough cookie missy!" Chester shouts, taking an extremely sharp turn, causing Jasmine to slam into a tree. Somehow, she makes it out and back onto the course, her hand still holding onto the rope, even more flags in her possession.

"Mike has to cross the finish line, or he'll be disqualified!" Chris shouts. "It's Chester ya looney!" the 'boy' responds, Chris frowning. Chester crosses the finish line with a battered, bruised, and muddy Jasmine behind him.

"You did it Jasmine! We won!" Ella shouts with joy, a triumphant tune starting to play. The Gophers cheer, but Chris coughs, interrupting their celebration. "Sorry to tell you, but the Bass actually won, because Jasmine dropped two of her flags when she hit the tree. The Killer Bass win the challenge and the mobile shower!" Chris exclaims, the Bass looking at their reward before cheering loudly!

"Aww man, I could've used that shower…" Geoff moans, his teammates nodding in agreement as they pinch their noses.

/

"The Gophers dug their own grave, and will have to send someone home tonight. The Bass played hard, and earned their much needed showers." Chris announced, the camera zooming over to the mobile shower as Zoey, Dawn, and Jo step out with looks of pure bliss.

"I guess it's our turn now huh?" Tyler asks, Brick nodding in agreement. "Uhh...I think I'll just wait a bit longer." Mike nervously says, rushing away from the two, Jo gaining a suspicious look as she watches the teen runs off.

xxx

(static)

"Alright, Mike is definitely hiding something. I wish I knew what though!" Jo frowns, still in her bathrobes. "I bet it has to do with his funny characters he plays, especially cause he hasn't done that 'Svetlana' routine lately. I wonder…" she mumbles thoughtfully, her hand on her chin.

The full moon once again bathes the island in light, save for the campfire pit. The suspenseful theme plays as the camera zooms in on the fire, the Gophers looking tired and downtrodden. "As you all know by now," Chris starts, " if you do not receive a marshmallow you must immediately walk the dock of shame and board the boat of losers. And you can never ever return to camp." he finishes, the camera zooming in on the platter as he grabs the five marshmallows that sit atop it.

"Dave and Heather," he shakes the marshmallows as he calls out their names, "you're both safe." Dave gasps in delight, Heather smirking cockily as she catches her treat. Chris walks over and grabs his megaphone. "Geoff, you're safe too!" the host shouts, Geoff giving him a thumbs up from a very distant tree, accompanied by a skunk. Chris winds back and tosses him his marshmallow, which he catches. "Muchos luchos compadre!" he shouts.

"Ella, you are staying a bit longer!" Chris says, the princess smiling nervously as she receives her marshmallow. "Courtney, your poor driving skills gave your team a huge disadvantage, plus you got caught getting distracted for almost no reason." Chris says, to which Courtney gasps in protest.

"It was for a very good reason!" she shouts, but Chris shushes her and moves on. "Jasmine, you're here for losing your team the chance at the mobile shower for dropping flags while being tossed around." Chris says, growing nervous when Jasmine gets up and approaches the host.

"I got slammed into a tree by accident." she growls, Chris shrinking before the tall Australian. "Which is why you're safe. Courtney, you're done like dinner!" he announces, the Type-A standing up in utter disbelief. "You can't be serious! I demand a recount!" she shouts, the host shrugging in nonchalance. "Sorry, no recounts." he replies plainly.

/

"You'll be hearing from my lawyers Chris! I don't deserve to go home! Dawn was about to tell me who framed Duncan!" she shouts, Chef grabbing her as he drives the boat away, the rest of her teammates watching in confusion as the girl screams in frustration as she fades into the distance. "Framed Duncan? How does Dawn know?" Geoff asks no one in particular.

"It's because she's mystic. She can read auras and stuff like that. I was on her team for a little bit." Dave says, Heather narrowing her eyes after hearing what Dave had to say.

xxx

(static)

"If Dawn knows I framed Duncan, she probably knows I set up Courtney for failure. She's got to go, before the merge takes place. Otherwise, I'm not sure about how safe I'll be…" Heather quietly tells the confessional camera, narrowing her eyes in suspicion when she hears a noise outside the outhouse.

The door swing open, Heather looking around in paranoia. She quietly closes the door behind her and walks away. Ther bushes rustle, revealing Ella to have been listening in the whole time. "Uh oh…" the princess mumbles, "what shall I do?" she quivers, holding her hands to her face in distraught.

Courtney is gone! Now before you all start berating me about how one of the best characters in the series is gone too soon and somehow Dave is still here, yes, but there is a reason for it all, and it's my story! I want to flip the script and give others some time to shine. (I also like Courtney so I'm definitely not done developing her)Heather is now one step closer to running her team, and now even closer to running the game now that she knows Dawn is basically her main obstacle. Her only hitch is that Ella now knows Heather's true nature for real, so you'll have to see how that all goes down.

In terms of the episode, this one really doesn't do much, because the canon love letter sub plot is gone simply because Harold isn't here, and no one else seems corny enough to write one. Not even Dave. I feel like he'd be too embarrassed. Other than that whole side plot, it's just a normal episode with no really glaring choice as to who goes home. Courtney is one of my favorite characters, so we haven't seen the last of her. Another thing to note, more and more of Mike's teammates are starting to grow suspicious of him and his actions, it might be something to keep an eye on. Anyways, I hope you all had a wonderful new year, and my poll is still up so please go vote! See you all this weekend,
