Chapter 16
Authors Notes
Hello everyone! Sorry for the unexpected delay, but the chapter is out! I can't believe we're on the other side of the hill for this season! It feels like not very long ago that I was just starting out writing this story, and it has blossomed into something special for me and a lot of you as well! Anyways, onto the reviews!
SideshowJazz1 : Glad you're liking the story so far! Zoey will definitely have more of a personality outside of Mike, so I hope you like the direction I take her in. I hope when you catch up to the current chapter you'll have a good idea of where I want things to go with characters. Look forward to hearing from you again!
Gucci Mane LaFlare : Glad you enjoyed my choices on who came back! I really thought long and hard about it, but I decided they would be the best options. Unfortunately for Geoff, this meant he had to get the boot, especially now that Heather has a strong teammate by her side. And yes, Tyler and Lindsay are adorable together.
Zeke the Prophet : Yeah…poor Geoff just wants to have a good time with his friends, and he got booted for it. Yes! Duncan and Lindsay are back for more, and you're a pretty good guesser! Heather is just becoming so unlikeable that others are voting for her even though she's immune. You'll have to wait and see if Ella is voted off soon.
Shuffollower : Glad bringing back Duncan and Lindsay took you by surprise! I was hoping they would be some unexpected picks. I really wanted Heather to have an ally who was unaware of her true self. It gives Heather a solid ally, and gives Tyler a ton more motivation to win or at least reveal who Heather is. Mike and Zoey will get together at some point, so don't you worry.
amit : yeah, having geoff leave was a bummer to write, but I think you'll like the end result. Don't worry, it'll make sense why Heather won the trailer instead of Jo, who was more fit to win I agree. Dave and Ella ship may be coming this season, or it might be set up, not sure about it yet. Lindsay being back means the roast could happen!
romeoaifesili : Yes, you were right! The girls did not have a very fun stay at the resort because Heather and Jo couldn't get along. As for who I brought back, I thought having Duncan adds more drama for the boys side of the groups, and I think that having Lindsay gives Heather all the more reason to dump Ella to the side. Yes! Giving Heather the trailer was mainly for that reason (muahahaha) and Geoff really didn't have much going on now that the teams have merged, and Zoey and Jasmine have kind of taken his job of mediating Jo and Heather. You'll have to see what happens now that Heather saw Dave voted for her!
CMC : Glad to hear that you and your family are doing well despite everything that has happened! I'm praying that everything will work itself out for you guys! If theres anything I can do to help, please let me know, my PM's are always open. On a less serious note, I'm glad you're enjoying the story still! I'll look forward to hearing from you again whenever that may be.
millikan : Yes Duncan is back! I think you'll like what I do with him. Also yes, but Geoff wouldn't have had much of a storyline since Bridgette and Gwen aren't around. I hope you like what happens next!
MatiasND : Glad you're liking the story! I would love for you to stick around and see how it ends! Also happy to see Geoff being eliminated where he was surprised you, I like to throw in a couple surprise eliminations every now and then!

(Start Episode)
"In the last episode of Total Drama Island," Chris starts as the capstone theme starts to fade into the background once again, "we had a surprise waiting for our remaining eleven campers. We brought Duncan and Lindsay back to the show!" the host happily laughs as a clip of the yacht plays, the delinquent and clueless blonde on board.
They reach shore and greet their former teammates once more, the rest of the cast left in shock. "And, just when they thought things wouldn't get crazier, I decided to finally merge the teams. It's one big free-for-all now!" Chris continues, the remaining campers eyeing each other warily, not knowing who's a friend or foe anymore.
"After those fun little announcements, the campers competed in a little game I called Say Uncle!" The campers are seen sitting in the makeshift bleachers, Chris spinning a wooden wheel to determine their fate. " Several rounds of jolly good fun later, we narrowed the field down to our two favorite hotheads, Jo and Heather."
Zoey getting her nose hairs pulled out, Jo jumping out of the barrel of leeches, and Brick eating an insane amount of ice cream are shown on screen as the host laughs at their pain. "Our final challenge of the day was the grizzly bear log roll, and BOY did Heather kick some butt in that one!" he shouts in an impressed tone, Heather shown growling at Molotov the bear as she stomps on the rolling log, causing the bear to slam onto the log right between his legs.
"Heather's win came with some juicy rewards this time around. A portable trailer exclusively for her use and leisure, and immunity from the upcoming vote." Chris announces, the trailer shown as Heather walks up to the cabin and hugs it, excited she has a space of her own. "And just when the campers thought the day couldn't get any stranger, they got to see everyone's confessional vote. Hahaahah! I love this show." he sighs, the TV being lowered and the confessionals being shown in quick succession.
"We're down to twelve campers in the race for one-hundred-thousand dollars." The camera cuts to the inside of a tent, where Chris sits on a wooden stool, sipping on what looks to be a fruit smoothie. He takes a long sip before tossing it to the side, glass shattering as he continues. "Will any of them have the strength to push through to the finale? I highly doubt it. Find out who's going home this week on Total, Drama, Island!" the camera zooming out with every word, showing the island in full view once again as the capstone theme peaks.
(Fade to Intro)
Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine
You guys are on my mind
You asked me what I wanted to be
And now I think the answer is plain to see
I wanna be famous
I wanna live close to the sun
Well pack your bags cause I've already won
Everything to prove nothing in my way
I'll get there one day
Cause I wanna be famous
(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Peaceful music fades in as the sun rises over the island, giving the sleepy campground an almost angelic glow. Birds chirp and fly by pines, a squirrel walking out from an oak tree. It yawns, and takes a long sip from a cup of coffee it somehow carries. The camera pans away from the tree and zooms in on Heather's pristine white trailer, which sits in the enclosed clearing.
A bird slams into the door of the camper, and it opens with a thud. Heather steps out of the cabin with a yawn, eyes lined with deep bags beneath them. She walks away from her prize and out into the woods, her destination not clear.
/
Mike's clothes lay on the dock, the boy's hands reaching up from the water to grab the dock. He pulls himself out of the water, oddly dressed in a shirt and swim trunks. "Hey Zoey! I didn't know you played guitar!" the boy calls out to the indie chick, who looks up from a notepad and blushes.
"O-oh, yeah…I like to write lyrics about stuff I like and then strum some chords to make it into music." quickly hiding her notebook from the boy's eyes, she blushes even deeper when she turns around to see a camera zooming in on her lyrics.

"Mike is so hot, and not just because of his looks." Zoey clasps her hands together, dreamily staring off before continuing. "He's probably the nicest guy on the island. He's always helping Dave and the other guys out with whatever they need, and he's a super good listener from what i've heard too!" she sighs before continuing, a more confused look on her face now. "The only thing that concerns me are his 'impressions' that he does all the time, and why he wears a shirt to the beach. Who does that?"
(static)
"It feels like I fall for Zoey more every day that I'm around her." the lanky boy sighs, palms on his cheeks while he too daydreams. "I still haven't explained my disorder to her. It's ruined relationships in the past, and I don't want to lose her. I couldn't take it." he frowns, balling his fists in frustration. "If only he hadn't ruined my middle school life." Mike mumbles.

A match is lit by an unknown hand, the flame hitting a wick connected to a large stone cannon. The wick quickly disappears, the cannon exploding with a loud bangas the camera zooms out. The mysterious hand is shown to belong to Chris, who is dressed in a pirates uniform and covering his ears. The cannonball flies through the air, Heather watching the cannonball from her chair. She gasps as she sees its destination, the cannonball making contact with her trailer.
The cabin explodes into flames, the toilet landing next to a gaping Heather. "Yeeaaarrgh mateys! Meet me in the amphitheater in five minutes, and I'll tell you about today's challenge!" the host shouts in a pirate's accent, turning off his megaphone and walking away.
/
The campers slowly gather at the amphitheater, both Chris and Chef standing on the main stage next to a white sheet. A grumbling Heather arrives with her smoking bags in tow, Lindsay watching with a confused look dressed on her face. "Well my little scallywags, have we got an adventure in store for ye!" Chris happily announces, the plastic parrot on his shoulder falling over with a creak. He frowns before pushing it back up, smiling out to the campers.
"Uhhh, what's under the sheet?" Tyler questions, looking at the white cloth with [piqued interest. "All in good time laddie! Who has a good hankerin' for a good ol' fashioned treasure hunt?" Chris continues, the cast looking at him with nonchalant expressions. "Now, this treasure hunt's got a twist mateys!" Chris shakes his fist and moves on. "What you're looking for isn't hidden, and isn't treasure!"
"If there's no treasure, then what's with the eyepatch and plastic parrot?" Duncan retorts. "Arrrrrgh, shiver me timbers! Good question me boy!" Chris smiles, tossing the parrot to the side and holding up a key in his hand. "Yer looking fer keys to a treasure chest!" Chef rips the white sheet away, revealing glistening chests underneath as the camera zooms in.
"Inside each of these chests is a treasure that will pamper you landlubbers!" Chris continues as the camera pans through the scattered contestants, all of them watching with bored expressions.
"And, one of these chests will give you…invincibility!" he exclaims, Chef walking over to the host with a bucket filled with wood in hand. "Now come 'round and pull a clue out of this bucket, or you'll have to walk the plank!"
/
The campers all reach in at once and grab a wooden board, looking at them with varying faces of dread and excitement. "These clues will tell ye where your key be stowed."
The camera zooms in on Dave's wooden board, the drawing of a bear plastered on in the middle. "A b-b-bear?!" he shouts, Chris popping up next to him. "I was hoping you'd get that one dude. Chef's fridge...niceeee." he continues down the line, Jo holding this particular board. "I hear he brushes it daily for fingerprints."
A suspenseful clang is heard as the camera cuts to a wooden board with a key in water. "That right there is the septic tank for the washrooms!" Chris pats Tyler on the arm, the boy looking at his board with a disgusted face. "Alright you scallywags, go find your keys and bring them back by 6pm...eastern standard time, to open up yer chests and get yer loot!"
Chris points to his watch as it ticks, the host then opens a chest with the demonstration keye, and smiles at the campers. "Fare the well young scallywags! Now get to it!" he shouts, frowning at the teens.

"Okay, whoever's idea it was to come up with this 'challenge' must really be running out of ideas." Heather frowns, crossing her arms in annoyance. "Oh, and Chris...those pirate tights don't exactly compliment your thigh flab if you know what I mean."
(static)
"Ohh, a treasure hunt does sound adventurous." Ella sighs, looking down nervously. "I just hope I can find a way to motivate myself to even attempt this challenge…"

Rising up out of the lake sits a wooden post, a key hanging from a connecting branch. Zooming out from the branch Mike watches deep in thought as several sharks swim around the wooden base. "Mike's challenge is to grab his key from the man-eating shark infested lake." Chris whispers as the lanky boy gets an idea and runs off. He returns shortly with two fish in tow, tossing them in the opposite direction of the key. The sharks quickly followed the scent of the fish, with Mike leaping into the water while they were distracted.
Zoey, who came to watch her crush complete his challenge, looks on in worry as she waits for Mike to return. As she raises her hands up to her mouth to call out to him, a tan hand grabs onto the dock, and Mike pulls himself out of the water. "Oh, Mike! I'm so glad you're safe!" she hugs the wet teen, who blushes. "Ohh, no. It was nothing at all!" he smiles, looking down at the red head wrapped around him. Unbeknownst to either, ominous music plays as a shadow disappears behind a nearby tree.

"Why does that lanky guy Mike always keep a shirt on when he swims?" Heather asks, narrowing her eyes in suspicion. "I wonder…what could he be hiding? Does it have something to do with his 'characters'?" she mutters.

Inside the main lodge, the wooden plank with Chef's fridge inscribed on it pulls away from the camera, revealing the kitchen behind. "Jo must retrieve her key from Chef's bank vault of a fridge without getting caught." Chris whispers as Jo quietly approaches the large fridge, creepy music growing as she gets closer. She opens the fridge, two frightening notes crescendo as Chef is revealed to be inside the fridge. The contorted cook growls at the jockette, who slowly closes the door and walks away, a look of horror on her face.
/
Zoey and Mike slowly walk towards an outcropping of rock, where she nervously looks at a burrow in the rock. A skunk emerges from the burrow and takes a quick look at Zoey before retreating back into its home. "Ohhh, what am I gonna do? My key is in that hole…" she sighs, before groaning and putting a hand over her nose. "I could lend you a hand!" a voice calls out. They turn to see Jasmine walking towards them, a small smile on her face.
"Hey Jasmine! Think you could help Zoey out?" the boy gives her a fist bump, and the Australian nods. "You don't have to Jasmine, I mean you should focus on getting your own key." the Indie Chick replies. "I got my key already so it's no trouble." Jasmine pulls out her own key, and looks at the burrow with a thoughtful gaze.
"Got it!" She snaps her fingers. "We'll flush it out. Skunks can swim in shallow water, so it shouldn't harm it either." the tall girl comments as she motions for Mike and Zoey to follow her. They look at each other and shrug before quietly falling behind their friend.
/
Back at the main lodge, Duncan sits on the roof of the main lodge, arguing with someone as he lowers a rope down. "This is a stupid plan!" he quietly shouts to someone below. "I didn't hear you say anything better!" the camera cuts to inside the lodge, Jo dangling from the lowering rope. "Whatever, just get the key already." he grumbles, the jockette rolling past a sleeping Chef, meat cleaver in hand.
She opens up the fridge and the camera cuts to the key as it gleams in the light, Jo quickly grabbing the item and shutting the door, slamming it by accident. She freezes as a shadow grows behind her and slowly turns around. Chef, now awake and very angry, leans down into the girls face. Jo smiles confidently before a crunching sound is heard. The camera zooms out showing Jo's leg between Chef's own legs, the hulking man grunting in pain but otherwise not flinching.
Now horrified, she shoves the man aside, making a beeline for the rope. "Pull me up! Pull me up!" she shouts, the delinquent frantically grabbing the rope and pulling up with all his might. Just as Chef makes a grab for her, Duncan pulls the jockette out of his reach, Jo laughing at his failed efforts. "Ha! Serves you right for messing with me!" She taunts, the boy panting as he pulls her onto the roof.
"You'll keep your end of the deal right?" he pants, the jockette looking back at him with a confused expression. "Oh dont worry DUD-can. I'll keep my end. Just don't fall behind!" she laughs, jumping off the roof.

"So yeah, my plan was to make an alliance with Jo to help her take down Heather." Duncan states plainly, leaning up against the outshout while he carves a piece of wood. "Do I regret it? Yeah, a little bit, but it's not like I have a lot of other people on my side other than maybe Tyler.." he sighs. "This better be worth the trouble, that's all I'll say."

Jasmine takes a large pail full of water from Mike, and runs over to the burrow and tosses the water in. The three quickly ran behind some nearby bushes, and watched as the skunk is rapidly flushed out. Zoey runs by and reaches into the hole, grabbing her key with a smile. "Thank you both so much!" she turns to her friends as they make their way over. "It really means a lot."
"Y-yeah, no problem!" Mike looks away bashfully, Jasmine giving the two a knowing smile as she watches the two interact. As she turns to walk away, a voice calls out to her. "Hey Jasmine, we're gonna head back and go open our chests. Wanna join us?" Zoey shouts. Jasmine turns to the pair, and shakes her head. "I'll make my way over there soon. You guys just make your way over there by yourself!" she shouts, walking back the way she had come. Mike and Zoey watch as their friend walks away, the camera zooming in on the pair reaching for each other's hands.
/
An intense tune plays while a wooden board with a key above a fire pit covers the screen, pulling back to reveal a large flaming hoop with the key dangling in the middle. Duncan looks at Jo, who shrugs in reply. "Not much I can do for ya." the jockette states to the delinquent, who shrugs as he preps to jump through the hoop.
He smiles at the camera before making a dash towards the key, leaping through and rolling onto the other side of the ring, key in hand. "Duncans tough exterior seems to be helping him with his challenge." Chris whispers as a smoking Duncan reveals the key within his palm, a know-it-all smirk dressed on his face.
/
"But poor Brick seems to be way out of his league with this key." the host continues to whisper as the cadet climbs up a fairly large oak tree, only to tightly wrap around the tree as it shakes. He peers onto a nearby branch where the key sits, only to see a woodpecker perched on the other end. He slowly shimmies towards the key, a nervous expression on his face. However, before he could get any closer, the bird slammed its beak into the branch repeatedly, causing the whole tree to shake from the impact.
/
A key sitting within a large pool of water is pulled away from the camera, revealing a disgusting looking toilet, with nasty stains all over the porcelain and the floor around. Flies swarm everywhere as a green stench rises out of the toilet, Tyler tearing up from the smell.
"Meanwhile, things seem to be…piling up for Tyler in the communal bathroom." Chris snickers as the jock shudders, before putting on a pair of swim goggles and a breathing tube and stepping into the toilet as if to reach the septic tank.
/
Pulling her board away from the camera, Lindsay looks down at the drawing in confusion before the camera zooms out, revealing a giant bees nest, swarming with hundreds of bees. She begins to turn away from the hive, but a hand appears on her shoulder. The camera pans to Dawn, who smiles as she walks towards the hive without a second thought. A few seconds later, she returns with the key, and a jar of honey in hand, the bees forming into the shape of a heart as she waves back at them.
Lindsay, wide-eyed with shock, slowly takes the key from the mystic before turning tail and running, screaming as she jumps into the water.
xxx
(static)
"I wonder what that was about?" Dawn asks, looking as the confessional camera perplexed. "I was just going to give her this honey as a peace offering. She is just a victim of Heather's evil exploits." she frowns slightly before continuing. "I must open her eyes to the truth!"

A sinister tune plays as a key glistens from a brown bear's neck, the large mammal walking tiredly around in its cave before lying down. The camera pans to the entrance of the cave, where Dave crouches behind a bush. "How do they expect me to get this key?!" he whispers to himself. He slowly crawls into the cave, groaning and cringing at the mud and hair left all over the place. He sniffs the air and recoils at the smell, but continues anyways. "So gross so gross so gross!" he cries as he reaches for the key.
As he grabs a hold of the key, the bear turns over, leaving Dave trapped between a one-thousand pound animal and a wet, muddy cave floor. "Crap!"
/
Dawn pulls her board away from the camera, revealing a large, purple snake sitting atop a stump, coiled around her treasure key. The snake hisses and bares its fangs at the mystic, but she walks towards the reptile with a calm demeanor. It rattles its tail in warning, but Dawn simply continues towards the snake. It contracts as if to strike, but just before it shoots forward, she reveals two eggs from behind her, both eggs glowing as a yellow backdrop appears, an angelic chorus playing.
The snake immediately stops, and 'smiles' as she sets the eggs on the ground near the serpent, which rapidly leaves the key in favor of the eggs. "There you go, Chris was just separating you from your kids, trying to simulate his neglectful parents." the camera stops, the frame glitching every now and then.
"Okay, which one of the producers let her in on my childhood?! He sobs. "It...it was so hard growing up."
The camera unfreezes, the mystic now holding her key with a smile.
/
A battered and bruised Heather walks down to the beach, her key wrapped around her neck for safe keeping, looking around in confusion. "Lindsay? Lindsay, where are you?" she turns around, looking for her ally. Hearing a splash and a gasp for air, Heather turns to see a soaking wet Lindsay crawling onto the beach before falling into the sand. "What happened to you?" the Queen Bee asks as she makes her way over to the now soaked and sandy blonde. "D-dawn helped me...so freaky…" she muffled into the sand. Heather's eyes narrow as she spots the mystic walking away from the vipers with her key, and turns back to a now standing Lindsay.
"Wow, you got your key already? You must have had an easy one then!" Lindsay gasps in excitement, not paying attention to Heather's condition. The camera flashes to reveal Heather barely balancing on a shotty rope bridge, her key sitting in a water bowl surrounded by alligators. They circle a moat and snap up at the black haired girl, Heather screaming in fear.
"Yeah, piece of cake." she dismisses, her expression back to serious. "Okay, I wanna talk some strategy with you. First things first, we need to find a new alliance member. Ella is distancing herself from us, and I have a feeling I know why. Dave is upset at me for something I did to Ella, I'm assuming it's what happened with Duncan…" her eyes widened, having figured out something important.
"I got it! That's why Ella is upset, she must have somehow overheard me planning to get rid of Duncan!" she slams her fist into her hand in understanding, Lindsay watching the Queen Bee with a confused expression.
"Uhhh, so who are we going to replace them with? It's not like you're a crowd favorite with the rest of them." the blonde innocently says, Heather growling at her to which Lindsay gives her a nervous smile. "That's the next part of my plan Lindsay, so just do your part!" she shouts.
/
Mike opens the screen door and walks back into his cabin to rest, but stops when he notices something on his bottom bunk. The camera zooms in on a folded up note tucked underneath the boys pillow.
"What's this?" Mike wonders as he picks up the note and unfolds it. "Mike, meet me by the tree near the beach. I wanna share the song I've been working on!" he exclaims, a huge smile on his face. He walks towards the exit, while unbeknownst to him Lindsay watches from the side window.
(fade to commercial)
A seagull with its neck constricted by plastic floats in the water, the island viewable in the background. Suddenly, an alligator shoots out of the water and snaps up the bird in one bite, before slowly sinking back down into the water. Mike walks to the beach, looking for Zoey underneath the tree. He gets excited after spotting her, rushing over to the lone oak by the beachfront. His smile quickly fades as the silhouette he saw turned out to only be Heather, watching the boy approach with a small smile on her face.
"Heather? What do you want? I'm supposed to be meeting Zoey here any second." he frowns, cautiously approaching the sly female. "I just happened to be out for a bit of a stroll, and happened to wander to this tree is all." she innocently tells the boy, giving him a look that made the lanky boy question her real purpose.
"Sorry, but I'm not buying that story. My dad is a cop back home, and he told me when to call a player's bluff." he crosses his arms and frowns. "What do you really want?" Heather drops her innocent smile and grins darkly. "I want answers Mike. And you'll give them to me whether you want to or not." she leans in almost seductively, Mike taking a step back from the girls advances.
"I don't know what you mean. What answers?" the confused teen asks, Heather laughing in response. "Don't play coy Mike, I know all about your condition." she plainly tells the boy, who reels back in horror. "W-what are you talking about? My impressions? Ohhh I'm just a really dedicated actor yeah!" he quickly sputters out, laughing nervously as Heather narrows her eyes and walks closer to the boy, backing him against the bark of the oak.
"I didn't want to do this the hard way, but you leave me no choice." she grunts as she lunges for the boy's shirt. She tightly grips Mike's shirt as he struggles to escape, Heather's smile growing wider. "Let's test something." she grins darkly before placing both hands on his shirt and pulls them away from one another.
"NO!" was all Mike could get out before Heather rips his shirt off. Mike gasps, his hair slicking back, his face forming a suave grin as he looks around before laying eyes back on the black haired girl. "Perfect.." she whispers, a guitar riff playing as 'Mike' walks over to her. "Ey yo, toots! Where's Vito at eh? I gotta take you out onna date tonight." Vito grins, his Jersey accent thick and very evident.
"Vito? Well, you're at a campground in the middle of nowhere, and I'm your biggest fan!" Heather mocks the tone of a fangirl, blinking her eyes rapidly at the suave jersey boy. "Who-a-a-oh! Don't hurt yourself, there's plenty of Vito to go around." he flexes his biceps and abs, Heather pretending to swoon into his arms. As Vito catches her, she pulls a white shirt from her back pocket, and quickly rams it back onto his body.
Mike gasps, looking around in confusion as to where he was. "Heather! What did you do?!" he shouts, gasping as he looks down and sees a different shirt on. "Oh, nothing Vito." Heather laughs, the boy dropping to the ground in defeat. "Okay, you win. Just don't tell my friends or Zoey. I can't let them know I'm a freak." he sniffles, Heather's smile growing knowing that she had won.
"Okay, I won't. But…you have to do a favor for me first." she says, Mike looking up at her with a defeated look.
/
Back at the cave, Dave somehow managed to escape the bear's clutches, and was attempting to reach for the key. "Crap, this stick is too short!" he sighs as the camera pans to the bear, the stick just short of the key. "Guess I'll just have to sneak up and grab it." he mumbles while tip-toeing towards the bear, hiding behind a rock as it turns over. He lunges for the key as it rolls, the Normal Boy snagging the key. "YES!" he cheers, immediately covering his mouth as he looks around wide eyed. He turns around slowly, whimpering as he sees the bear awake, and lumbering toward him. It roars loudly, the Normal boy screaming as he runs out of the cave, the bear in hot pursuit.
/
"For the love of everything holy, where is this key?!" Tyler shouts, the camera only showing the outhouse toilet, the stench still visible as splashing can be heard from inside the septic tank, and the jock groans in frustration. "Wait, I think I found it!" he shouts, as a squelching sound emanates from the toilet. "Ahhhhhh! I just touched some sh-"
/
The final wooden board falls away from the screen, revealing a bunny calmly sitting next to the final key, eyes wide with innocence. "Oh, what a majestic creature! I must sing a song for the wonderful bunny." She clears her throat, a magical tune beginning to play. Just as she raised her arm about to sing, the bunny turns towards her and roars, the princess looking down at the rabbit before screaming and running towards the nearest tree. She climbs up the nearest branch, and cries out as the bunny roars beneath her.
"Hey sheilah, looks like you should've left this little guy to the man!" a voice shouts, a lasso flying through the air and around the bunny. The lasso wraps around the animal's mouth, and Manitoba walks out from behind a bush, grinning as he saunters over to the key, grabs it, and walks over to Ella.
"Let me help ya down Sheila. Don't want you to get hurt now!" he grins confidently, reaching out a hand to the baffled princess, who blushes as she reluctantly accepts his hand. As she jumps down, Manitoba catches her in his arms, the girl gasping in surprise. "Don't worry, I gotcha!" he tips his hat to the princess in his arms, Ella bashful.
The sound of the loudspeaker turning on rings through camp, Manitoba and Ella looking towards the sound. "Okay campers, meet me back by the campfire in ten! And bring your keys." Chris announces, the loudspeaker cutting off after he finishes.

"Things are starting to fall into place for me." Heather laughs as she files her nails. "It's almost too easy, they're all so emotional."

Tyler sits on the open stumps, dangling his key in front of him with a bored expression while the stench from the septic tank emanates from the boy. "Tyler?! What happened to you?!" the jock looks up to see the rest of the campers in front of him, covering their noses from the terrible stench. "It-it was horrifying. I'll never be the same now…" he shudders, thinking about the septic tank and what he had to endure.
"Arrrgh, it be time to claim yer treasure!" Chris shouts, one foot on a row of chests, the host still in his pirates uniform. "For those fortunate enough to have a key, come forth with it!" he beckons to the teens, the camera pulling back to reveal two rows of large chests.
/
Duncan inserts his key into a chest, the lid opening with a glow. The delinquent reaches in with a frown, pulling out a bag of chips and a can of soda. "Is this seriously the best you can do?!" Duncan grumbles, Chris shooting him some finger pistols and nodding, a grin on his face.
/
Dave puts his key in several chests, but none would open. "Uhh Chris? I think there's something wrong with my key. It won't open any chests!" the Normal Boy directs to the host, who starts to laugh. "Oh yeahhh…I forgot to mention that. Some of the keys are duds, meaning they won't open any chest." he chuckles, the camera panning back to Dave. "Seriously?! Well, can you do something about him?!" he points back behind him, shown to be stuck in the bear's mouth, the angry animal growling. Several tranquilizer darts hit the beast, Dave hitting the ground with a groan. "Thank you…" he manages to say.
/
Zoey holds a blender in her hands, a confused look on her face as Jo opens the chest next to her. She pulls out a gift basket with snacks and other food, and a large red card with a marshmallow in the center. "YESS! I'm invincible!" she jumps up and down in excitement, some of the others watching the jockette with frowns, but now looking at Heather, whose eyes widen.
/
Jasmine, Mike and Lindsay open their chests, Mike pulling out a broom, Jasmine holding a large, tacky looking lamp, and Lindsay pulling out an accordion, a cringed expression on her face as it extended, letting out a horrid chord.
/
Tyler opens his chest, and pulls out a small bottle of cologne. "Wait…what?!"
Chris pops onto screen, pointing at Tyler as an elevator jingle plays in the background. "Tyler will be able to cover up that stench with a bottle of New Cleaver body spray! Cleaver...it cuts through the stink." he announces in an infomercial tone, disappearing as Tyler glares at the host. "You mean I swam and waded through a septic tank for cologne?!" he shouts, spraying the bottle and sniffing it. "On second thought, maybe I'll keep it.." he says, smiling from the apparent smell of the spray.
/
The campers all stand in front of Chris, various 'treasures' in hand. "I hope all of you got the treasure you were looking for…and more!" he announces, smiling as the campers give him mixed reactions. "But now it's time to do your duty and send one of your fellow campers off the island…for good." he points behind him, the dock of shame looming in the background. "So cast your votes, and I'll see ye buccaneers at the campfire at sundown! Araraargh!" Chris shakes his fist, a sea shanty tune playing as he walks away.

"Heather needs to go." Dave simply states.

"Heather must no longer hurt anyone on this island!" Dawn proclaims, hands clasped together.

"Do I really even have to vote? You know who I want gone." Duncan glares at the confessional camera.

"Now that I have a semi capable alliance, I'm basically running this game!" Jo laughs, crossing her arms confidently. "Heathers turn to go, then I'll rule this game!"

"Duncan needs to go. He's ruining others chances and playing dirty." Jasmine says, frowning at the confessional camera.

"Ohhh, it's getting so much harder to vote for people now!" Zoey groans, planting her face in her hands. "I guess I'd say Duncan, he kinda creeps me out."

"Heeather told me to get Tyler to vote for Ella, so I did just that!" she smiles, pausing for a while not remembering her own vote. "O-oh yeah and I vote for Ella too!" she quickly says, finger to her lip in bashfulness.

"Lindsay promised me a date if I vote for Ella, even though she can't remember who I am…" Tyler sighs and slouches. "I guess that would be a great way to make her remember me, so…sorry Ella."

"Bye Ella! It was so fun using you!" Heather says in a mocking tone.

"This sucks, Heather is blackmailing me and I can't do much about it." the lanky teens slouches back, looking defeated. "I thought I was ready to tell her and the others at the beginning of the season, but after being around them and seeing how they reacted to Svetlanas and the others, I don't know if I'm ready for their reaction then." he sighs, and takes a deep breath. "So, Heather asked that I help her out, and she won't tell anyone about my…condition. Sorry Ella, I can't help it."

The island glows a pale white under the moonlight, the capstone elimination theme playing as the camera zooms in on the elimination area. "This is it! The moment you've all been waiting for." Chris solemnly tells the twelve campers in front of him. "Marshmallow time!" he happily exclaims, grabbing his usual silver plate full of sugary treats.
"You know the routine, if you don't get a marshmallow…it's curtains for you!" he points to the camera in dramatic fashion, the teens looking at Chris with anticipation. The music intensifies as the camera cuts to everyone's nervous faces, the camera giving a close up of all their eyes. Heather however, is the only one smiling out of the bunch. Chris reaches down and prepares to give out every marshmallow he has. Ella watches the others with a saddened expression, still upset about what she had overheard.
"Dave, Duncan, Mike, Zoey, Dawn, Jasmine, Jo, Tyler, Lindsay, Brick, and Heather! Marshmallows for the lot of you!" Chris shouts, Ella gasping as the camera quickly pans back over to the plate which glistens from being emptied out. "But, how is that possible?!" Duncan stands up, shouting at Chris. "I know for a fact that there were at least four of us who voted for Heather!"
"You're right. But there were also four people who voted for Ella to leave." the host replies with a blank expression, the campers looking at each other and mumbling amongst themselves. "So, we had to get into technicalities. Not really my thing, but the producers said so." he shrugs before continuing. "Since Ella was the only person who didn't get her key by her own means, that is the tiebreaker." Chris comments, Mike looking down in shame.
Ella stands up, a small smile on her face. "It's ok everyone, I had a long time to think about a lot of things, and I think it's for the best that I go home." her smile wavering, she turns around and quickly runs towards the cabin. The campers look at each other in confusion, Heather sighing in boredom. "Well, I'm glad that's over!" she says, ignoring the glares she got.
"Don't you even care? She was one of your friends!" his eyes fill with tears, the boy walking off the way the princess had gone. "Ellaaaaa!" he calls out. "Nice going toots. You got the nerd upset." Duncan scoffs, the teens walking away from the campfire in annoyance. Even Jo left, surprising the people around her.
/
Ella stands on the boat of losers, bags next to her. "Are you sure you'll be ok?" Zoey asks, the rest of the cast on the dock ready to send her off. She nods. "Yes, I'll be fine. I learned a lot from this experience, plus I got to meet all of you! I wish you all good luck! Even you Heather!" she calls out, the Queen Bee scoffing from a ways away. The boat takes off, Ella waving to the teens as they return the gesture.
"Good riddance." Heather mutters, Dave grinding his teeth in anger at her words. She walks away, the other campers following from a distance. "Hey Duncan, I have an idea. Wanna help?" Dave whispers, the delinquent looking at the boy in confusion. "Whatcha got squirt?"
/
Heather hums happily in the shower, her silhouette seen against the drawn curtain. Steam rises from the shower and out the window, the camera following the steam. Outside, the shot pans down to reveal Dave and Duncan behind the washroom, on top of the septic tank. Dave removes one hose from an exposed pipe, and inserts the hoses connected to the septic tank. Duncan tapes it tightly to the pipe, and turns a dial, the new sewer water running through the pipes.
"H-hey, what is this? Is this sewage?!" the Queen Bee screams as the sewage flows through the showerhead and onto the girl, Duncan and Dave snickering and high fiving. "Ahhhh, st-stop it! NOOOOOOOO!" Heather's screams echo throughout the camp, the camera zooming out showing the whole island once more.

Hello all! Thank you so much for your patience, this past week was absolute insanity. I planned on having this out on Saturday/Sunday, but lots of random stuff came up, and I wasn't able to get it out. I'm happy I got it out today, and I will hopefully be back on schedule next week.
Anyways, Ella is now gone! Heather saw her as dead weight, and decided to replace her withMike! Luckily, Ella still has plots to finish, so expect her to have those resolved in later seasons! Her elimination also allows for new plot and relationships to develop, which will come up soon. Zoey and Mike are getting closer, but now Mike is bound by Heather! I'm excited to show you all how that gets resolved, good or bad! Anyways, I really appreciate your patience, and please let me know how you liked this chapter! See you all soon,
