Chapter 19

Author's Notes

Greetings everyone! Welcome to another chapter of Total Mix-Up Island! I think this episode has been my favorite to write so far, and I think you'll enjoy this chapter! Also to let you all know, I apologize for the unexpected hiatus. That was not my intention at all. Anyhow,

Onto the reviews!

Gucci Mane LaFlare : It was so fun watching Lindsay finally stand up to Heather when I was younger! Glad you liked my rendition as well! Thanks for liking the bike designs as well! I wanted them to fit each of their personalities and talents, like Jo using her strength to simply push the bike, and how Dave uses his smarts to make an electric bike.

Zeke the Prophet : Yes, Lindsay is gone, meaning Heather is fighting for her life. The guy alliance and Jo have their sights set on bouncing her, so she's gonna have to use everything she can to either hinder other players, or blackmail another character. Glad you liked the designs! I wanted to put some extra thought into each of the bikes instead of glazing over them. Yeah, the canon episode doesn't have much happening besides the Lindsay and Heather drama, so I didn't delve too far from that. There will be much more drama in this chapter.

Shuffollower : I'm back! I appreciate your enthusiasm every week as always! I hate making you guys wait as much as you all hate waiting for an update! Yes, Heather has blackmailed and unknowing allies seemingly at every turn, such as Mike. A lot of players are against her now, but she has a plan to deal with this as usual. I changed the location merely on a whim, nothing major XD. Don't worry about it, I promise it won't always be like this! Being patient is hard, I know!

romeoaifesili : Glad to be back! I wanted Lindsay to go out just like she did in canon, and I wanted it to have a little more impact with Dawn and Zoey warning her one final time before her downfall. I wanted Dave to have his moment to shine, as well as giving him some more character development and really flesh out what direction I want to take him in. As for more Mike and Zoey scenes, don't worry, there will be plenty more. Good guess for who will uncover the killer! You'll just have to wait and see who gets that honor!

millikan : Happy to be back! Thank you, life has just been crazy right now so I'm happy that I can keep writing. I'm glad you enjoyed how Lindsay stuck it to Heather! And don't worry, Brick will not be a side character I assure you.

Alright, with only nine contestants remaining, it's gonna be a wild finish! Here's Chapter 19 of Total Mix-Up Island!

(Start Episode)

The capstone theme begins to play as the shot opens up to the island, the forest blanketed in a faint pale glow. The moon rises high above the island's cliffside, giving the island a spooky appearance. "Last time on Total Drama Island," Chris starts, walking out of the dining hall. "Our campers flexed their engineering and adrenaline seeking skills to their limits in a BMX bike racing challenge!" he laughs, clips of various campers working on designing and building their dream bike. "When it came time to judge their bikes, we ended up with some very..interesting designs." The host continued, Dave's 'Tesla I' and Dawn's 'Univercyle' popped up on screen to show off their unique designs.

"Just before they started their big race, I pulled a little twist. They rode someone else's bike" Chris laughs, the teens grumbling on screen as they reach into an old bike helmet to see the new bike they would ride. "After acquiring their new wheels, the campers were tasked with racing down the coast line to see who would compete in the final, insanely dangerous BMX course!" Chris comments, making his way through the forest. Clips of the teens racing and crashing into one another, Brick pushing Jo's 'Kilimanjaro' from behind, as well as Jasmine and Dave taking off in a blur.

"After a very chaotic finish, Dave, Heather, Lindsay, and Duncan's bikes crossed first, making them our finalists. But the final had another twist to it." he continues explaining, the music still playing in the background as the host walks over towards the campfire pit, the fire lit and dancing in the night. "Our first place racer would gain invincibility, while our last place finishet was immediately sent to the boat of losers." he smiles, making a slashing motion with his finger across his neck.

"Sudden death, and it was much more than I could've expected. Heather used Lindsay once again to claim victory, and because Duncan and Dave couldn't finish, Lindsay went home!" He throws his hands up in dramatic fashion, Lindsay clearing a path for Heather, then finishing right behind her is shown on screen.

"After Lindsay and Heather exchanged some friendly words with each other, the blonde said her goodbyes to her friends, and was sent on her way home." The host gives the camera a large smile as he walks closer towards the camera.

"Only nine campers left in the quest for one-hundred thousand dollars! Who's brave enough to make it through this week?" He points at the camera with both hands before continuing.

"Find out right here, on Total, Drama, Island!" He proclaims, the capstone theme peaking and fading into the background.

(Fade to Intro)

Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine

You guys are on my mind

You asked me what I wanted to be

And now I think the answer is plain to see

I wanna be famous

I wanna live close to the sun

Well pack your bags cause I've already won

Everything to prove nothing in my way

I'll get there one day

Cause I wanna be famous

(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(End Intro)

Creepy music fades in as the camera pans over the ground, a black and white hue cast over the earth. A pair of feet enter the shot, and the camera quickly pans up to reveal a very large man with a hockey mask while aslo wielding a chainsaw. His eyes glow red along with the blood spattered on his butcher's apron. He raises the chainsaw above his head, revving the machine loudly as he steps towards the camera.

The camera cuts to a clearing in the woods, the remaining nine campers sitting around a film stand as it projects the movie onto a small projector screen. "Awww yeah, the psycho killer's going for the car!" Jo shouts excitedly, fists balled up in excitement. "Just stop making out and drive already!" Jasmine shouts, waving her popcorn wildly around in the air. "I can't watch…too…scared!" Brick shouts, tucking his head into his legs as the psycho killer can be heard moving closer to the car.

The car engine can be heard starting as a girl screams, Mike groaning. "Of course the car won't start! What else could go wrong?!" Mike facepalms, grabbing Zoey's hand out of nervousness. "Here comes the bloodbath!" Duncan shouts excitedly, jumping up from his seat. The light coming from the camera flickers red, the chainsaw revving loudly. Screams can be heard coming from the projector, and the light continues to shine a red color, Dave now wide-eyed. "I just don't understand how you all enjoy this…" Dawn mutters, looking away from the screen in rebellion.

Zoey flinches at the scene, unknowingly moving into Mike's chest. She doesn't seem to notice, as she was too busy watching the psycho killer finish the job. "Wow, he's running back to the woods! He got away!" she muses, not noticing the lanky boy currently holding her blushing profusely from her touch. He looks over and sees Duncan and Brick giving him a thumbs up, Mike smiling nervously back.

The projector slows to a stop, and Dave runs to the woods, puking as he goes. "I got it…" Jasmine grunts, getting up as Brick sighs in relief. "I'm so happy that's over. I hate scary movies." the cadet mutters, Duncan grinning. "Oh yeah? What scares you most? The part where everyone meets a grizzly demise?" he says, putting his hands around his throat in exaggeration.

"Or was it the psycho killer with a hook?!" he shouts in a spooky tone, revealing a hook plastered on his right arm. "AAYAYAHAYAHAHA!" Brick shouts, jumping up and falling from his seat in terror. THe delinquent laughs, Brick brushing off his pants and giving him an angry look. "Oh relax wimp." Jo rolls her eyes, putting the movie back into its case. "It was a pretty tame slasher." she tells the cadet, showing off the case with a hockey mask on top.

"Yeah there was hardly any hacking…not like Bloodbath II Summer Camp Reign of Terror!" he says in a serious voice, face animated with pretend fear. "No. Way. That's my favorite horror flick!" Jo shouts with a wide smile on her face. "My favorite part is when the killer shoves that girls hand into the lawnmower." she grins, pushing down on air for effect.

"Or when he pushes the girlfriend off the cliff, and she lands on a propeller, slicing her in half!" Duncan grins back, slicing his hand down as Brick watches in fear. "Or when the psycho killer shoves the guy's head into the woodchipper!" they shout in unison, grinning towards one another.

"Ugh, we get it, Jo and Duncan have something in common other than their bad fashion choices." Heather snips, rolling her eyes at the two's antics. "Slasher films are nothing but guts, gore and bad acting."

"Horror films are cinematic masterpieces." Duncan replies, crossing his arms and glaring at the Queen Bee. "Yeah, they've got tons of psychological effects." Jo agrees, motioning towards Brick. "Look at Sargeant Piss Pants and the nerd." The cadet was shaking in his boots, Dawn sitting right next to him, giving him an affectionate pat on the shoulder. Dave was still puking in a bush, Jasmine giving him water from her canteen to clear his throat.

"Whatever. Does anyone know where Chris is or what our next challenge is?" she asks, quickly changing the subject. "Yeah, where is he?" Zoey agreed, still blushing while laying on Mike's torso.

/

A faint horn can be heard sounding from the dock, peaking the attention of the remaining eight campers. Rushing over to the dock, the teens spot the tugboat stocked full of luggage, Chef and Chris frantically tossing the few bags that remained on the dock on board. "Hey Chris, what's going on?" Jasmine questions, the host jumping at her words. He and Chef quickly glance back at Jasmine and the others before screaming, hopping onto the boat, and zooming away with panicked expressions.

The teens all stand on the dock, looking at each other with confused glances. "What just happened?" Dave asked no one in particular. "Wait, what's this?" the Normal Boy stops when his foot hits something still on the dock. He bends down and picks up a lone backpack, a piece of paper sticking out of the main pocket. Dave pulls out the paper, unfolding it to reveal a newspaper headline. "Escaped psycho killer on the loose." he reads aloud, eyes panning the paper. The camera zooms in on a silhouette of a large man, hockey mask and chainsaw visible on the top right corner of the page. Dave continues, his voice growing more fearful. "Be on the lookout for a man wearing a hockey mask, with a hooked hand, and a chainsaw!"

The rest of the teens gasp, Dave panting in fear. "Oh yeah, the psycho killer is out roaming around!" Jo pumps her fist in excitement. "Things are getting exciting!"

Heather scoffs, rolling her eyes at the jockette. "Oh come on!" she throws her hands up in disbelief. "A scary movie, a hasty exit," she motions to Dave who was still holding onto the newspaper, "an obviously placed prop?" she huffs and folds her arms. "This is just their way of trying to get us to do our next challenge."

"I-I don't know. They seemed pretty scared, Heather." Brick states, turning to look at the petite form next to him. "Their auras were definitely showing signs of fear, but there was also something else…a color I've never seen before in either of them." the mystic informs the others. "Oh please." Heather interrupts. "They're just trying to freak us out with their little stunt." she states, rolling her eyes once again.

"If this was a stunt," a still fearful Dave starts, "would he leave behind his hair gel?!" he shouts, whipping out a small purple bottle from the bag, the hosts grinning face plastered on the bottle's side.

The group gasps, unable to comprehend their self centered host leaving without all of his branded items. "Oh my god. Is this really real!?" Mike panics, his hands clenched nervously. Suddenly, he gasps and hunches over, one eye closed. "Ohhh dag nabbit!" he shakes his fist in the air. "These kids and their stupid horror movies!" 'Mike' shouts in an elderly voice.

"So let me get this straight." Jasmine begins, moving towards the group. "Chris and Chef left us all alone on this island while some psycho killer with a chainsaw is on the loose?" she questions, Duncan shaking his head in disagreement. "No. We're all alone while a psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook is on the loose!" the music spikes as the delinquent grins, his hand now covered with a hook prop.

Brick screams in terror at the teens antics, hitting the deck with a thud. "Get a grip, muscle head." Jo grunts, looking down at the cadet with a sour face. "I thought you were some fearless leader at your camp." she air quotes, Brick frowning in annoyance. "I'm not scared of anything Jo!" he retorts, standing up and leaning in towards the jockette. "I just feel like we're being watched is all!" he finishes, pointing an accusing finger in her face, the girl swatting it out of the way and glaring at Brick.

"No duh Brick. It's a reality show. We're always being watched!" Heather shouts, dumbfounded at the boy's naivety. The camera suddenly gains a grainy look, zooming out to show Heather still talking to the others, but on a monitor. Sitting in front of the monitor was Chris himself, who laughs as he turns to face the camera. "Heather's right. And tonight, we're going to see which one of them can survive a real scary movie!"

He grins, wiggling his fingers for effect. "And we have a special guest with us tonight…the escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook!" he announces spookily, raising a hand to reveal a hook prop, the host's grin glinting.

/

"Okay, a challenge or not, we need a plan here!" Jasmine declares, Dave and Brick nodding earnestly. "Yes! A plan!" they both shout. Heather on the other hand, scowls and starts to make her way off the dock. "Your funeral." Jo smirks as she passes by, the Queen Bee pausing to look at the jockette. "The pretty girls who abandon the group always die first." she states.

"It's not real! Chris and Chef are just trying to scare us." Heather growls at Jo , who just grins even wider. "You could've made it more obvious Chris and rented a scary movie at a summer camp!" she shouts at the sky.

Cutting back to the tent, Chris smiles before responding. "I tried. But they were all rented out." he shrugs towards the cameraman before turning back to the monitors.

"Now if you'll excuse me...I need a facial. You losers can stay here and play boogie man." the black haired girl announces, walking off towards the campgrounds.

"That darn woman!" Chester groans, hobbling over towards the rest of the teens. "Back in my day, we'd just all go look for the killer and beat him up!" he shouts, the others looking at him with collective questioning. Zoey sighs and smacks the back of Chesters head. "Mike, this isn't the time to mess around." she gives Chester a serious look, and he gasps, now standing straight once more.

"Okay, let's head back to camp and talk some strategy. Sound good?" Jasmine asks, Duncan and Jo shrugging as they lead the way. "The most important thing we can do is stay together." the Australian finishes, starting off towards the campground. The others follow, but as a confused Mike follows the group, a hand reaches out and grabs his arm, pulling him away from the others.

/

In the dim moonlight, Mike and Zoey walk through the woods, both looking a bit more tense than normal. "Are you sure this was the best time we could've talked?" Mike nervously questions the redhead, eyes rapidly looking around for any sign of danger. "This is the only time we'll get to talk." Zoey responded, the indie chick also on high alert. Eventually they came to a stop in the middle of a clearing and turned to face each other.

"So what's up?" Mike asks, Zoey looking down and sighing. "Mike, what's going on? I thought you had dropped those 'characters' of yours. I feel like you're hiding something big." the indie chick sighs, rubbing her arm, not noticing Mike's eyes widen in panic. "I could totally be wrong though-"

"Sorry about that Zoey!" Mike quickly interrupts, laughing nervously. "I just thought my impressions could...use some more practice is all!" he laughs, putting on a fake smile.

"I can't tell Zoey yet!" Mike groans, smalling his hand against the wall in anger. "Heather knows about Vito and the others. And I'm pretty sure Jo knows how to use Svetlana at will." His eyes fog over. "And Heather threatened to use that against me if I ever told someone about our forced alliance." he sighs, slouching in the confessional. "Guess I'll never be able to tell Zoey.."

The camera cuts to a full shot of the island, the firepit glowing bright as the rest of the island taunts the campers with what lurks the darkness. Brick, Dave, Dawn, and Duncan all sit around the blazing fire, Jo and Jasmine talking and pacing amongst themselves. "Okay nerds, listen up!" Jo shouts, the other campers looking up at the jockette and rolling their eyes.

"Rule number one of horror flicks; never go out alone!" she starts, pacing back and forth. "Rule two; if you go out with someone else, don't go into the woods!" she continues her pacing, much to the ire of Brick and Dave. "And if you idiots somehow find your way into the woods, don't suck face! Or you will die in the woods!" the jockette gags a bit on the last rule. "Not that anyone here wants to do that."

Dawn looks around, the petite girl clearing her throat before speaking. "Haven't you noticed we're missing more than just Heather?" she piques. "Hey, Mike and Heather aren't here!" Brick jumps from his seat, hands on his head in panic. "Well, where'd they go?" Dave asks, looking at the others. "Breaking rules one through three." Duncan slyly grins, Jo gagging even more, while Dawn stifles a laugh.

/

On a recluse part of the island, fog thickens around the forest, blanketing the woods in a misty veil.

/

Mike and Zoey continue walking, the fog rolling around the pair as they slowly trudge up a hill. "And that's how I won a national championship in gymnastics!" Mike grins, Zoey laughing at the spiky haired teen. "Oh Mike," Zoey sighs, leaning onto and wrapping her arms through his own. "You're such a good storyteller!" she giggles, Mike blushing as they walk up the hill. "Yeah, I figured you'd think it was a good story."

"The details and people seemed so real!" she comments, Mike's smile faltering for a moment before regaining his composure. "Y-yeah, I just really love to tell stories."

"Plus it's got my mind off that crazy psycho killer." The indie chick looks up at Mike, who freezes in his tracks. "Oh my god. Zoey, we're alone in the woods, with the psycho killer!" he shouts, Zoey going wide eyed along with Mike. "Oh my gosh, just like in the movie!" she panics, looking around frantically.

Mike pauses, recalling something, his face turning red from the thought. "But they were k-k-...you know…" he stutters, Zoey pauses after hearing Mike's words, her face turning red after realizing what he meant. "W-what are you saying?" she turns to the teen, who had already closed the gap. He grabs her by the waist, staring into her eyes, their pulses racing. Mike and Zoey slowly move towards one another, not breaking eye contact for a second.

As their lips are about to meet, the camera zooms out as a foot slams down on the screen, the two turning to see a hulking masked man. He roars, holding a chainsaw in one hand, his other hand replaced with a hook. The pair screams as he revs the chainsaw, dashing back the way they had come.

/

From a distance, a camera catches the shadows of Mike, Zoey, and the killer all running up and down several hills, the pair a lot farther ahead. "Why does it feel like we've been running forever?!" Zoey shouts as the camera now follows them, looking back to see if the killer was still on their tail.

"I think it's so they can drag these scenes out and set up a good slip up-" Mike's foot clips a rock, causing the boy to tumble and roll, right towards a looming cliff. "Mike!" Zoey reaches out an arm while he screams, rolling off the edge, and free falling towards the bottom. Zoey can only watch as he hits rocks, cacti, goats, gets blasted by dynamite, and finally hits the ground.

Slamming into the ground, he groans, then suddenly gasps for air. "Oh come on! I just had my back fixed!" Chester shouts in anger, getting up and brushing off the excess rubble. Quickly cutting back to the top of the cliff, Zoey sighs in relief, seeing that Mike is okay.

"Hold on Mike! I'm coming!" she shouts, jumping off after her crush. Zoey grunts in pain as she too falls prey to the same disasters that had befallen Mike, explosions ringing out as well as goats bleating into the wind. She lands much more gracefully than the spiky haired boy, rolling after making contact with the ground.

"You okay?" she asks, just as a shadow looms over the pair. "I'm too old to die! Take the youngin' instead!" Chester shouts, cowering behind Zoey. "Wha-Mike?!" she panics, the camera zooming in on the killer as he revs his chainsaw once more.

(Fade to Commercial)

The killer revs his chainsaw and slowly makes his way towards the two, Chester taking off screaming, Zoey managing to grab his shirt and stay with him. Back in Chris' tent, Chester and Zoey can be seen on a monitor running towards the camera, their screams and shouts becoming louder. Both teens pass through the tent's entrance, stopping once they catch a glimpse of the host.

"Chris?!" Zoey gasps, the host smiling as he turns to greet the two campers. "I-i thought you had left already?" she presses on. "Nope! I'm here to make sure today's challenge goes smoothly!" he grins, and as if on cue the psycho killer walks through the door.

"AHHHHHH! Get me outta here!" Chester shouts, but a cracking noise stops him in his tracks as he painfully puts both hands on his back. "Mike! Calm down!" the host rushes towards him, putting a hand on his shoulder. "It's just Chef!" he motions towards the killer, who pulls up his mask to reveal the cook snickering underneath. Mike gasps heavily, now looking around in confusion. "Wait, I thought you guys had left Wawanakwa?" Mike asks the two.

"Dude, you need help." Chris deadpans, both the host and cook giving him blank looks. Zoey on the other hand, was frowning deeply at the boy. "So you're running a challenge?" she asks, not taking her eyes off of Mike.

"Yep! Your challenge was to watch a scary movie, and then survive through your own horror night with the knowledge you got!" he explains, pointing to Chef and the cameras while talking. "So, did we lose then?" Mike hesitantly asks, Chris popping up between the two. "Yes, yes you did." He grins, giving them a wink. "But, you're safe, and you get to watch everything go down from right here!" he smiles, signaling Chef to get a move on. The hulking man nods, walking outside with the host.

As they leave, Zoey wheels around and glares at Mike. "I'm too old to die…take the youngin?!" she growls, Mike backing away nervously. "I-i can explain.." he starts, but the Indie Chick had already walked away, standing as far away from Mike as she could. Mike slumps, knowing he's in the doghouse.

Outside, Chris stops Chef and gives Chef some water to drink. "Great work out there Chef. Maybe next time, try angling the hook a little more. It'll be more intimidating!" he finishes, and Chef nods in agreement before pulling his mask back down and walking away.

/

Outlined by the moon, Chef stands atop a rocky cliff, posing maniacally as the revs of his saw echo throughout the island.

/

Back at the fire, an easel had been set up with the campers drawn on. "Okay, I've just finished making a chart of all the remaining players.." she turns only to find Jo, Dawn, and Duncan still there. "Where does everyone keep going?!" the Australian angrily shouts.

"The cadet had to take a leak and he brought sweater vest with him." Duncan tells her, to which a grinning Jo holds out her fist. "Nice nicknames." she smiles, Duncan smirking and returning the gesture.

/

Outside the bathhouse, Brick and Dave can be seen stopping just outside the door. "Now Dave, I don't want you to leave your post." Brick starts, pacing back and forth, arms behind his back. "Even if you see the psycho killer, I want you to stay. Shout for help, and hold your ground until I'm able to come help you." he stops pacing and leans into Dave. "Do you copy?" he sternly questions, Dave leaning away awkwardly. "Y-yeah dude, just get out of my personal space please." the Normal Boy pleads, Brick smiling and giving him a salute.

He opens the door and steps inside, the slamming door leaving Dave alone with only darkness in front of him. "Calm down Dave. Nothing to be worried about. The chances of him finding me are slim."

As Dave talks to himself, the camera cuts to the perspective of a bush, where heavy breathing can be heard, the music taking a sinister turn. A hooked hand reaches forward and pushes some of the brush out of the way, and Dave is alerted to the sound.

"H-hello?" he calls out, only to be met with silence. "Who's there?!" the teen shouts, voice shaking from fear. More rustling can be heard, and Dave nervously takes a step closer to the door. Just before he can make a dash to the door, a hook appears from above, and lifts the boy up and away before he could make a sound.

Inside the bath house, Brick opens the door, happily sighing as the toilet flushes. "Now to check on Dave." the cadet tells himself, walking out towards the sink. Unbeknownst to him, another person lurked within the bath house. Hearing a door knob jiggle, the cadet gasps and hides under the sink counter, holding his breath and waiting to see who was with him.

The door can be heard opening, and footsteps could be heard growing louder, the music swelling. The camera zooms in on Brick's sweating face, the boy hoping it was anyone but the psycho killer. The music peaks, Brick shielding his already hidden body, peeking out to see…hairy legs.

Confused, he peeks out from under the counter to see none other than Heather staring right back, green face mask on and towel draped around her. "Brick?!" she shouts, the boy jumping in shock, hitting his head on the counter.

"Owwww. What are you doing here Heather?" he asks the Queen Bee, rubbing his head in pain. "I'm finishing my skincare routine. Duh." she rolls her eyes at him. "How's your little group doing with their 'planning'?" she teases, Brick now looking annoyed. "Hey, this is a serious situation here! The island's been compromised!" he retorts, now looking around for other signs of danger. "We need to regroup with the others-" before Brick can finish his thought, the lights start to flicker.

"Uh oh…" he whimpers, the lights flickering faster, and then shutting off dramatically. Brick starts to pant, Heather now huffing in frustration. "Seriously?! How am I gonna shave my legs now?!" she yells, accidentally walking into her fellow camper. "AYAHAHHHHHHHHHAHAHH!" he screams, and a tinkling sound can be faintly made out. "Are you peeing?!" she shouts, gagging in disgust as she tries to feel her way around the bathroom, looking for something in particular.

"N-no, why would you say that?! It's not like I'm afraid of the dark or anything.." he nervously mutters. A buzzing sound begins, and after a loud crashing sound, Heather can see again! As she looks towards the light source, she sees a Brick shaped hole in the door, the boy's hands raised above his head and screaming in hysteria. Heather shrugs and continues to shave, the source of the buzzing being her razor against her legs.

/

In the tent, Brick looks around at the other three teens, an embarrassed look on his face. "Dude, did you seriously pee your pants?!" Chris excitedly asks the cadet, who blushes in embarrassment and looks away. The host laughs and throws him a towel. "Chef had a super good gag going, but you got scared and ran off before he could do anything!" he says, Chef now appearing back in the tent. "I-it was so dark…and the buzzing, all the buzzing.." he muttered under his breath, to which Chris simply shrugged. "Welp, Chef my man, you're up once more." he points to the cook, who smiles and lowers his mask once again.

/

With the lights back on, Jasmine runs into the bath house with a concerned look. "Is everything okay?! I heard screaming." she notes, Heather now looking rudely at the tall Australian. "I'm fine. But Brick ran out of here like a lunatic." she folds her arms, looking very annoyed. "Can I have my shower in peace please?!" she snidely comments, walking away from Jasmine.

"Wouldn't it be better to stick togeth-'' Heather whips around and glared daggers at Jasmine, who clearly got the message. "Alright, fine. Just don't complain once the killer gets you because you didn't stick with us." she calls out, walking out of the bath house and back to the others.

/

The music starts off creepy as Heather turns one of the knobs on the shower, hot water streaming out of the showerhead. Heather smiles contently, slowly removing her towel from her body. A loud pounding can be heard coming from the door, and she quickly puts her towel back on. "Hello?! I'm in the shower!" she yells, the steam now billowing out from the stall. The knocking gets even louder, Heather rolling her eyes. The music gets more intense as she replies, getting louder and louder.

"Very funny Duncan. Now leave me alone." she turns to enter the shower, a chainsaw now revving loudly. "Duncan, this isn't funny anymore!" she growls, slamming the door open. But to her horror, instead of Duncan standing in front of her, Chef looms over her with the chainsaw in hand. The intensity of the music peaks as she she screams, the camera quickly zooming in on her mouth, then quickly zooming back out as she is now inside the tent.

"Maybe if you paid attention to the scary movies," Chris starts, Heather rocking back and forth on a stump inside the tent, "you'd know that A; you never go off alone." he holds up a finger for emphasis before continuing. "And B; you certainly don't shower…alone!" he smiles, putting his hand down as she continues to shake in fear.

/

Back at the fire pit, Duncan, Jo, and Jasmine all sit around the easel, some of the campers' images crossed out with pencil. "Well, I'm guessing there's only four of us left in this challenge." Jasmine states, Jo and Duncan looking bored as they vedge out. "The fortune teller girl would disagree with you went to go find us some food." Duncan yawns, the tall Australian looking around in frustration. "Ugh, does no one want to win this challenge?!" she groans, putting a cross through the mystics image, only three images remaining.

"Relax amazon, as long as none of us get caught, we'll make it through the night with no problems!" she says, hiding a smirk from the Australian.

/

The door to the mess hall opens, Dawn sneaking inside and quietly closing the door. "Good, I don't sense any auras." she sighs in relief, making her way to the kitchen. She opens the saloon door, seeing a tray of hot brownies conveniently layed out for the mystic to grab. "Oh I hope these are vegan." she says, popping one of them into her mouth. Suddenly, a door can be heard slamming shut. The camera whips back to the door to show it now closed,

Dawn now hesitant to move towards the only exit. 'Dawn… dawn… dawn…Brownies… brownies… brownies…' an ominous voice whispers from what seems like every direction, Dawn seemingly frazzled. "I need my tea leaves to find this killer!" she shouts, running towards the door.

Just before she reaches the door, it slams open, Chef lowering his leg and glaring at the girl in front of him. He raises his chainsaw and revs it once, Dawn puckering her lip in defiance. "I'm not scared of you, I have Mother Earth on my si-AHHHHHHH!" she screams, the cook swiping at her with the saw.

/

"Challenging the killer, are you crazy Dawn?" Chris asks, smiling as he stuffs another brownie in his mouth. "Why yes, I had nothing to fear until he started to attack me." Dawn surmises, the others shrugging as they reach for more dessert.

"You do get major bonus points for bringing everyone these brownies though. Good work!" the host finishes, the other campers nodding and humming in agreement.

"Hey Chris?" Heather pipes up from her stump, holding her face delicately. "Can I leave for a few minutes and take this mask off? It's starting to chafe." she shudders, the camera zooming on the mask, cracking in several places." Brick shudders as well, thinking of his experience in the bathroom with Heather, and nods in agreement. "Yeah, you should let her go. She'll get scarier than she is already!" he nervously proclaims, the others stifling laughter.

"Sorry Heather, you'll have to wait until everyone else is finished being 'slashed'." Chris says, sliding his thumb across his throat and shrugging his shoulders. The other campers sigh in defeat, none of them wanting to stay in the confined tent any longer. 'Hey, is it just us three left?' a voice from the monitor questions, bringing the campers attention back to the challenge at hand.

At the fire, Jo, Duncan, and Jasmine are seen still vegging out, Jasmine looking at the paper. "Why'd they all go off on their own? They all seem to be logical people right?" Jasmine wonders aloud, Duncan laughing at her words. "They've got school smarts, only the musclehead has any survival skills at all." He smiles, picking up a stick and lighting it. "We're the ones with street smarts and good survival skills." he lights another stick, holding the flames dangerously close to the paper and easel.

"You really are a pyro aren't you?" Jo intercedes, giving the delinquent a knowing look. "Is that why you went to juvie?! Lame!"

Duncan scoffed at her words. "Like I'd ever tell you why I went to juvie." he says flatly, swinging his stick as he leans closer. It hits the sheet of paper, lighting the whole thing on fire.

"Crap, I'll go get some water! Don't go anywhere!" Jasmine shouts, rushing off with a bucket she had kept by the fire the entire time. Duncan and Jo watch her dash towards the water, giving wide grins to each other. "Ready to take down the psycho?" Jo asks, Duncan grinning and the pair gets up to leave. 'Duncan… duncan… duncan… Jo… jo… jo…" Both laugh as they make their way into camp, Jasmine returning not long after they had left.

She throws the bucket of water onto the paper, dousing the flames in an instant. She gives a sigh of relief, then notices the lack of insults and other people. "Are you kidding me?!" Jasmine groans, balling her fists in annoyance. "I'm heading to the mess hall." she grumbles, walking away as the camera zooms out, showing the Australian on the monitor. It pans over to the next monitor, where the psycho can be seen standing at the end of the dock.

Duncan and Jo's heads come into view, the rest of the cast gasping at the two teens' plan. "They're actually going to face the psycho?!" Dave shouts, watching the two with worry. "I know right?! This is gonna be awesome!" Chris smiles widely, looking back at the others who now crowd around the host's chair.

"Horror movies are all about a final showdown." Duncan smiles, carving another skull into the side of the confessional. "And now that me and Jo ditched Jasmine, it'll be either me or her who takes him down!" he finishes, stabbing the pocketknife into the wood. "It'll be me who takes him down though."

"This is it. The final battle between two of the best competitors, and a crazy psycho killer! I'm so pumped!" Jo shouts, slamming her first into her palm, grin wide on her face. "If anything gets in my way of my showdown, even Duncan, I'll pulverize 'em!"

The torches on the dock flare brightly as Duncan and Jo approach Chef, pounding their fists in excitement. "Okay psycho, give us your best shot!" Jo shouts, the cook turning around and glaring at the pair. He starts towards the pair, slowly making his way over to the other end of the dock. Duncan grins, Jo handing him a wooden lounge chair.

Lifting the chair over his head the delinquent heaves the object directly at Chef, who expertly raises his chainsaw, slicing the chair into pieces. "Lemme at 'em!" Jo says, lifting a nearby canoe and throwing it with all her might, but Chef was ready for this as well. He slices the canoe in half, both teens looking more nervous by the minute. Duncan looks around for something else to throw, his eyes landing on an orange life vest.

He tosses the vest at Chef, the sound of it ripping to shreds as polyethylene flies everywhere. "Uh oh." he frowns, backing away slowly, the cook slowly gaining ground with every passing moment. The camera shifts to Chef as he glares at the two, raising his hooked hand. As he takes another step, a fish flies through the air, slapping his face. The fish slowly slides down his face, and the hulking man raises a brow.

The camera zooms out to show Jo giving the man a defensive look. "What? I ran out of things to throw." she explains, Duncan slapping his face in shame. But before the two can regroup, Chef takes off towards the pair, Duncan and Jo yelling in fright. The cook swings his blade down at the delinquent, who manages to dive out of the way, the saw slicing through the dock. "Quick, take out his handle!" he yells to Jo, who snorts and walks over to the boy instead. "I've got a better plan." she grins, Duncan gaining a worried look.

The camera cuts back to Chef, who reaches for his hockey stick handle, but looks up when he hears screaming. He cries out, seeing Duncan flying towards him at a rapid rate. The boy slams into Chef, knocking both of them away from the saw. Chef can only watch and a laughing Jo picks up the saw, ripping it from its place in the dock.

"Nice tool you got here!" she surmises with a cocky grin, swinging the weapon around to test it. "Now, unless you want to lose a leg or two, let's see who you really are." she menacingly tells Chef, Duncan also watching the jockette with a surprised look.

In the dining hall, Jasmine sighs, having found some leftover chicken breast in Chef's fridge. "I can't believe they all left, and after I told them we needed to stay together." she sighs, setting down her plate full of chicken, some grapes on the side and grabbing a glass of water. As she picks up a piece and tosses it in her mouth, heavy breathing can be heard from behind her. "She looks up to see a pale skinned masked man looming over her, having a striking blue buzz cut, his teeth poorly kept, and flame tattoos on his neck and arms.

"Whoa, how'd you get in here?" Jasmine shouts, jumping up from the table, stopping when she notices she stands taller than the psycho killer. "Um, are you sure you're the killer on the loose?" she questions, the man never breaking eye contact. "You seem kinda new at this sort of thing.." Jasmine trails.. The masked man now frowning.

/

Back at the tent, Jo walks through the door, Chef's mask in hand. "Anyone lose this?" she confidently announces, the others cheering for the girls victory. "Did you really have to throw me?" Duncan mutters, walking in behind the jockette, Chef giving the girl an impressed grin as he enters the tent.

"Hey…guys?" Mike interrupts, everyone turning to look at the lanky boy who stands by the monitor. "If Chef is here…then who is Jasmine talking to?" he points to the screen, Jasmine and the man shown standing in the mess hall, casting one another suspicious glances. The group's eyes widened collectively, no one daring to say what they all were thinking.

"OH MY GOD! THAT'S THE REAL PSYCHO KILLER!" Dave screams. The others glance at each other, before screaming themselves and rushing out of the tent, Chris and Chef right behind them. "This could be really good for ratings," he pants, the group running towards the mess hall, "but it will be really bad for lawsuits!" he finishes, rushing faster towards the building.

/

The camera zooms in on the dining hall, both Jasmine and the man still facing off. "Aren't you going to say anything? It's kind of getting boring talking to myself." the Australian says, her eyes looking for anything. An escape route, a weapon, something she could use to get away from this man. He takes a step towards her, and Jasmine takes another step back.

"Look, you seem like a really nice mate, but I gotta go get with the others. You don't seem to get what's going on here. Plus, your breath really stinks." she says, the masked man now getting angrier and angrier.

The cuts to the door as it bursts open. Chris, Chef, and the cast crowding the doorway, horror in their eyes. "Jasmine, that's the real escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook!" they all shout, hollering over one another. Cutting back to the Australian, she gasps in horror, turning to the man in front of her. He takes off his hook, revealing a grotesque looking stump where his hand used to be. "Uh oh.." Jasmine whispers, the man roaring in anger, revving his chainsaw. He lunges for Jasmine, but the Australian reacts almost too quickly, throwing a fist right at the man's face. She hits her mark, the force of the punch ripping his mask off, dropping to the ground in pain.

As she now looms over the man in an ironic twist, he holds his nose, and cries out in pain. "Owwww. That really hurt you know." he stands up, his high pitched voice surprising Jasmine. "I was treated so much better in prison. I'm out of here." he grumbles, still holding his nose as he exits the building, the rest of the group watching with shocked faces. Jasmine walks over to the group, Duncan giving her a smile of respect, to which Jasmine returns.

/

The usual shot of the island is presented, the campfire still glowing in the dark of night. Cutting to the fire, the nine remaining campers sit, Chris standing in front of them. "It's pretty obvious to all of us that Jasmine wins invincibility tonight for her heroics." Chris motions to the girl, who smiles in embarrassment, the others nodding in agreement. The host then walks over to Brick and places a hand on his shoulder. "And it was unanimous that Brick will be the one going home." he announces, the cadet hanging his head in shame. "Sorry dude, you were the only one to run away on terror without Chef being there. No hard feelings man, you will be missed." Chris says, giving the boy a reassuring smile.

/

On the dock, Brick boards the boat, the rest of the cast smiling sadly as one of their close friends is about to depart. "It was an honor serving alongside you!" Mike shouts, saluting the boy with a smile. The rest of the cast salutes as well, and even Jo and Heather reluctantly give the boy his farewell salute. Brick's grin grows wide, returning the salute with military bravado, a military horn blowing in the background.

As the boat departs, whispers can be heard in the background. The camera cuts to a bush on the other side of the dock, the psycho killer watching the teens walk back to the cabins.'Total…total…total…Drama…drama…drama…Island…island…island…' he stops, turning to the camera, his nose now bandaged. "Oh..it still hurts." he groans, trying to get a good look at his nose. "Is it bleeding? Can you see if it's bleeding?" he asks the camera, moving toward it as the screen fades to black.

Wow, it has been a LONG TIME since I last uploaded. I would like to start by apologizing for the extended absence. I cannot express how much is sucked to have so much time go by and not update, upload, or hear from you guys. But, now I feel like I can get back on track. Okay, now onto the story. Not much dramawise happened in this episode, and I felt it was a nice change of pace from the frantic drama from the past episodes. Even the canon episode wasn't that eventful. Similarly to canon, someone was booted for running without seeing the psycho killer, and that was Brick. I really like Brick a ton, and felt he was underused in his only appearances, and I felt like I didn't do him enough justice, but I promise to flesh him out more in future stories. I really considered kicking out Duncan in an ironic twist, seeing as he's one of the horror aficionados. But that didn't sit right, and so it came down to Dave or Brick. I felt like it was Brick's time to leave the story, as I still have plans for Dave. I hope to be uploading regularly, but burnout hit me hard as you can see, so I won't promise anything other than I will finish this story. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, and please let me know what you think in a review! See you next time,
