Chapter 24
Authors Notes
Another chapter is here! We are extremely close to the final three and finale! I hope you guys are as excited as I am! As for the last chapter, I did not expect it to be that long ahaha! It was definitely a challenge making sure the elimination made sense for Zoey, which a lot of you guys were surprised to see go. Anyhow, onto the reviews!
Gucci Mane LaFlare: I agree with Zoey being a harder character to write, and I appreciate you thinking I've done a good job with her so far. Her development isn't over though! So stay tuned. You'll have to wait and see where everyone finishes this season!
Shuffollower: Do not fret, commando Zoey will appear, just not yet. I really debated about putting her in this episode, but I felt since I wanted to have her leave in the castaway challenge, I felt it would be a waste per say. Your waiting paid off! Mike is free of his secret, which i'll go a little more in depth about in this chapter. You'll have to wait and see who gets voted off next!
millikan: Glad to see you're excited about Mike's confession! I was super happy to finally write it this season, as they had quite a bit of drama piling up to this point, and now its time to close the door on that portion of their story. Yes, commando Zoey will make an appearance so don't worry! As for your prediction, you'll have to wait and see!
Zeke the Prophet: Yes, I had Zoey leave this chapter and as for Commando Zoey, you will see her eventually! I like your predictions for the next elimination and finale, you'll have to see if you were right in your predictions!
Okay! Now let's move on to Chapter 24! I hope you all enjoy!

Campers
Boys: Mike, Dave
Girls: Dawn, Heather
XXXX
A wide, zoomed out shot of the island faded in, the capstone theme slowly growing as Chef began the recap instead of Chris. "Last time on Total Drama Island, the campers got swept away by the weather, leaving me n' Chris all alone for the day." Chef began, a flashback showing the cabins being picked up and washed away in the torrent of rain. "Instead of eatin' my nasty slop, they got to bask in the sun and eat pineapples all day." Another flashback showed the four teens minus Zoey wandering around shore, Mike running off not long after.
"Instead of sticking together," the hulking man berates, "they split up and tried to find what they thought was top priority." Clips of Mike wandering through the jungle, Dave finding the large pile of fruit, and Heather and Dawn staying put near the treehouse flashed on screen before cutting to a smiling host. "NOT what my trainin' taught me!" he shakes his head.
The cook began walking down the dock, arms behind his back as he went. "As you coulda' guessed, it didn't go well!" Chef stops at the end of the dock of shame, a grin growing on his face. "After a love confession by string bean, props to ya kid, the redhead repaid the heartfelt gesture by destroying their shelter."
A clip of Mike holding Zoey's hands in the woods followed by the Indie Chick shooting her blunt arrow at the ptera-goose. "I woulda' totally killed-I mean hit…that bird." He quickly corrects himself, and chuckles awkwardly as a flashback beings, showing the treehouse being destroyed, the goose slamming into the structure and leaving the five teens shelterless.
"After the strandees confessed their feelings or whatever, they finally figured out that camp was a mere 200 yards away." The teens are shown sprinting through the brush, bursting into a clearing and right in front of Chef and Chris.
The flashback ends, and Chef is still on the edge of the dock. "Redhead got sent home, leaving four suckers still around for me to…test." He chuckles darkly before looking directly at the camera and frowning. "So grab your food, sit your butt down, and see the next episode of Total, Drama, Island!" Chef says less than enthusiastically, the music peaking as the shot zoomed out, the island in full view once more.
(Fade to Intro)
Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine
You guys are on my mind
You asked me what I wanted to be
And now I think the answer is plain to see
I wanna be famous
I wanna live close to the sun
Well pack your bags cause I've already won
Everything to prove nothing in my way
I'll get there one day
Cause I wanna be famous
(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Nananananana nanananana nanananana)
(End Intro)
A peaceful tune plays over a serene shot of the sun rising, the pines glowing orange in the light.

Outside, the camera cuts to a closeup shot of a mumbling and shifting Mike. A blue bird flutters down onto his pillow, and eyes the mumbling boy with confusion before flying away. Panning up to Dave, a fly buzzes around the Normal Boys head. He swats at it lazily, to no effect at all. Cutting over to Dawn, the mystic seems to be more at peace than normal, a soft smile on her lips as a frog nestles next to her head. Panning down, Heather snores loudly in her bed.
As she snores, an acorn drops from above and into her open mouth, causing the girl to choke on the small seed. She hacks it up, groggily mumbling just as a squirrel reaches up to grab the acorn which sat on her chest. She shoots up out of bed, eyes wide as she looks around. "Wha-who's that?! Where are we?!" she asks, the camera zooming out to show the other three campers also awake.
"Wha-how did we end up here?" Mike looks around in confusion. The camera cuts to Dawn who holds the frog gently in her hands. "Oh my! Another day in nature!" she smiles happily, and the camera cuts to a wailing Dave. "Oh no, no, no, no!" he moans, and slams his face into his hands. "We're gonna diiiieeeee!"
The sounds of a helicopter's motor suddenly can be heard, and gust of wind raged through the clearing where the campers sat, dust billowing everywhere. "Everybody just shut up!" a voice shouts from above. The camera cuts to an angry looking Chef descending from above on a free hanging rope ladder."How you got here is not your concern!" he yells, the hulking man stepping down from the ladder as it approached the ground. He looked up and gave the pilot a thumbs up, and the ladder was taken back up.
"What happened to Chris?" Mike questions, hopping out of bed along with the others. Chef angrily shakes his fist at the lanky boy. "None of your gosh darn business what happened to Chris!" Both fists still balled, he grins darkly and continues. "I'm in charge now, and when I'm done with you, you're gonna wish you were never born."
The hulking man walks towards the campers and begins another announcement. "Your mission, is to make it out of the forest alive, or die tryin'!" he leans into Mike and leers at him, the boy growing uncomfortable.
"You can't be serious! We barely made it out of the last challenge. If we do this…we will die!"

"Another day in the woods?!" Dave shouts, moaning before slamming his head against the side of the confessional, utter defeat on his face. "I'd rather jump from the cliff again…" he mutters in annoyance.

"Heres how it works," Chef began, holding two large duffel bags, "team one. Germaphobe and psycho." he tosses a bag at the boys, Mike catching it and giving Dave a confused look. "Team two," Chef turns and tosses the other bag, "drama queen and creepy girl." Heather grabs the duffel bag and opens it up, Dawn giving her a curious look.
"Everything you need to survive the night is in these bags." Chef explains, putting a finger up as he continues. "You'll navigate your way north towards base camp. The first team to tag the camps totem pole…wins." the campers give their partners knowing looks before directing their attention back to Chef.
"And here's a tip." the cook grins darkly before continuing. "You better set up camp before nightfall, otherwise you won't be able to see your tremblin' hand in front of your face." he grins, shaking his hand wildly for effect. "Unless…you have night vision goggles," Chef quickly holds up a pair in front of the group, "butcha don't." He cackles with delight, but quickly stops when his apron tightens around his neck.
The camera cuts down to reveal Heather at the feet of Chef, hands on his apron and a look of terror on her face. "Please don't make me go! I'll go insane out there!" she begs, Chef quickly shoving her off. "Get a hold of yourself soldier!" he shouts, moving her back and away from himself.
The camera zooms in on Chef's face as he turns back towards the group. "And if you see agrizzly bear, count yourselves lucky." He grins, the camera cutting to the nervous looking campers as Chef continues offscreen. "You don't wanna run into Sasquatchanakwa.'' The camera cuts back to the cook, who walks away from the group. "He's one mean mamma jamma!"
The helicopter returned, the teens covered their eyes as dust flew everywhere once more. Cutting back to Chef, he climbs onto the lowered rope ladder and shouts back at the group. "Good luck soldiers! Try not to dieeeeee!" his voice slowly fades out as he flies away.
Suddenly, two claws slam down on the pair of bunk beds, latching onto and carrying them away. "Really?! This isn't legal you know!" Dave shouts at the fading form of Chef while Mike reaches into their bag. He pulls out a compass and his brow furrows.
The camera cuts to show both teams, Heather grabbing Dawn's arm. "File it with the producers, germy boy!" she shouts, rushing past the boys with a confused Dawn.
"Where are they going in such a hurry?" Mike wonders, Dave panicking behind him. "I don't know, but we're gonna die out there! We don't have don't have any bug spray, or soap!"
Mike sighs and grabs Dave by the arm. "Dave, we'll be fine. Dawn won't let us die cause we're her friends, okay?"

"Having Dave as my partner wasn't bad. He's smart, that's for sure." Mike tells the confessional before laughing awkwardly. "Except…unless I find a hat lying around somewhere, or if Dawn shows up randomly…we're both easy food for a bear." his smile drops, and he looks rather shocked at his own statement. "Uh oh."
(static)
"Well for once, I'm grateful to have Dawn on my side. If we ever encounter a bear…she can go play with it while I win!" she smiles innocently, folding her legs over one another and clasping her hands together.

Heather came to a stop a ways into the forest, panting and out of breath. "W-what was that all about?" Dawn asks, also breathing hard. "I just…wanted to get away from the guys, maybe freak Dave out a little bit." The mystic frowns and stands up. "And so you could reveal what you stole from Chef?"
Heather grins as she pulls the goggles from behind her. "How'd you guess?" she coyly asks, and Dawn shakes her head. "Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have these at night." the Moonchild sighs. "I wouldn't want you stepping on a poor creature in the dark."
Heather rolls her eyes but says nothing, still rummaging through their bag. She pulls out a map and ponders it before huffing in annoyance. "Ugh, this stupid map is useless without a compass." The camera zooms in on the map's drawn compass, soft yet intense music playing as the map compass slowly transitions into a real compass.
It bobs up and down in Mike's hand and the camera zooms out. The guys walked through the dense forest, Dave constantly looking around in fear. "So if we head north, we should be able to get to camp quickly and not get bitten, stabbed, infected…you get my point." Dave explains, Mike nodding in agreement.
"Well I definitely think going north like you said is smart, but I'm honestly more worried about running into a bear than the other stuff you said." He looks over at the Normal Boy, who was busy swatting away mosquitoes. "Y-yeah, you're probably right…" Dave sighs, falling in line with the spiky haired teen.

"Look, I'm all for avoiding bears and other animals, but that usually means traveling through swarms of flies, mud, and other things to avoid!" Dave exclaims with a stern tone. "I can't believe we're stuck with Chef in charge again! He's freaking insane!" He throws his hands up in the air. "I'm surprised to say this, but I'd rather have Chris back!"
(static)
"I must admit another challenge in the woods was not…ideal for the others." Dawn confesses. "I myself love any chance I can get to explore Mother Nature," her mouth twists into a frown before continuing, "but being near Heather's unpleasant aura makes the trip less enjoyable."

Dawn and Heather walk in silence, the Moonchild's head buried in the map, and the Queen Bee huffing in anger as mosquitoes swarm around her head. "Ugh, I'd kill for some bug spray, these bugs think I'm an all you can eat buffet!" Dawn looks up and softly smiles. "They like you, for whatever reason, so be happy! Plus, we have the bug spray, I just don't want you killing any innocent creatures."
"Oh whatever. I'd rather have these around than Sasquatchanakwa." she comments, swinging her arms wildly in vain. "Speaking of Sasquatchanakwa, what was it like? You were the only one to truly see it." Dawn presses, Heather giving her a questioning look. "I didn't really get a good look. I mean it was dark in that stupid box."
xxx
(static)
"I can't tell what Dawn is trying to get at, shouldn't she know what it's feeling since she can read auras?" Heather gives the confessional camera an odd look. "Well, if there's a chance she doesn't know anything about the thing, the better for our chances." she flicks her hair back and continues. "If she lets the guys know about Sasquatchanakwa, it makes it that much harder to win."

The petite girl nods and turns her attention back to the map. "Well, your aura indicates you're not lying. Let's keep heading north then." she points forward, and the pair continues on their way. Ominous music slowly builds up, and the camera cuts to a viewpoint from a faraway bush. Heavy breathing can be heard, and the girls walk past seemingly unaware.
However, Dawn slows down, and turns to look at the camera. She frowns, but says nothing as the two continue moving, the creature still watching them.
/
The sun sat high in the clouds, overlooking the hillside in the background. A funky trumpet tune begins to play, and the camera pans down to a chuckling Chef. He lays on the dock of shame in his bathing suit, a french language book in his hands. "Pardon monsieur, ou est la bibliothèque?" he says slowly, a grin still plastered on his face.
/
Mike and Dave climb up the side of a cliff, the Normal boy panting in exhaustion. "I wonder how Zoey's doing." Mike remarks, stopping on a small ledge to rest his arms. As he stares off in thought, Dave loses his grip on the cliff, slamming into the rocky surface. As he dangles from one hand, Mike continues on.
"You think she's having fun wherever the boat brings them?" he wonders, not noticing the still struggling boy. Dave manages to grab back onto the ledge, panting from fear and exhaustion.
"Hey, are you doing okay?" Dave gives Mike a death glare. "Just nearly fell to my death is all." he snaps, Mike raising his brow in confusion. "Did I really just zone out just now?"
Dave grunts but says nothing as he continues upwards, Mike shrugging before following the Normal Boy. On top of the cliff, both boys scour the horizon looking for any signs of camp, Chef, of the girls. "Anything?" Mike calls out to Dave, who was currently looking through a pair of binoculars. He sighs, the camera switching to the binoculars point of view.
"I see the girls, and Dawn's leading the way." Dave shouts, both Dawn and Heather can be seen walking through the woods, the petite blonde holding a map. "It looks like the girls are following the river!"
"Doesn't the river take them south? Check the compass!" Mike panics as he rushes over to Dave, the boy putting down his binoculars and reaching into his pocket. The tinkle of broken glass can be heard, and the compass can be seen shattered and bent in several spots.
Dave gives Mike another annoyed look, and the spiky haired boy chuckles nervously. "Hehe, sorry about that." Dave sighs and stuffs the compass back into his pocket. "No Mike, the river goes north towards camp. Well, we better catch up with them otherwise we'll definitely be lost or…attacked." he gulps.
Mike's brow furrows, but his eyes light up and he moves towards the edge of the cliff. He peers over the edge, and the camera cuts to show a small pond on the far side of the cliff. "Hey Dave?" he calls out as a smile forms on his face. "Are you ready for another cliff jumping challenge?"
(Fade to Commercial and Back)
A shot of camp appears, the camera flying through the grounds before rising up, showing the small buildings around the island. Cutting to inside one of the cabins, Chef smiles as he grabs a weighted blanket from one bunk, a log book from another, what seems to be a charm of some sort from a third bunk, and he finishes by grabbing a small bottle of facial cream from a fourth and final bunk.
/
Dawn and Heather continue to walk near the edge of the river, and Heather pauses. "Wanna sit for a sec?" The mystic turns and looks at the black haired girl, but nods in agreement. They stop and sit down on a pair of stumps, the river flowing in the background behind them.
Dawn rustles through the pack and pulls out two energy bars, tossing one to Heather. "Look," the Queen Bee begins as she unwraps her bar and takes a bite, "I know we both don't like each other, and probably wanna shove each other off a cliff right now."
Dawn pauses for a second before shaking her head. "No, I wouldn't do that, I'd rather not resort to physical violence." Heather snorts before continuing. "Either way, I think it's best for us to win this challenge and make sure we both move on."
"What if I have us lose on purpose and get the others to vote you off?" Dawn questions, Heather frowning at her statement. "How do you know Chef won't vote a random loser off?" she counters, and Dawn frowns as well. "Truthfully, you might be right. I just hope the boys are okay, that jump off the cliff looked painful."
/
A scratched up Mike and Dave tie together some logs, Dave struggling to lift one of the logs. As he grins when he gets the log high enough, a loud fart and gas cloud can be seen behind him. "Nice one." Mike comments from the other side of the makeshift raft, but frowns when Dave starts to hyperventilate.
/
Dawn and Heather finish up their food, and brush themselves as they start to get up. "Well, we better hope the guys are still as lost as ever." the Queen Bee muses aloud, not noticing a familiar raft moving down the river.
Both boys wave as they pass the girls, Dawn turning as gasping. "What?" Heather asks as she turns around gasping as she watches the pair disappear off screen. Both girls look at each other before shouting. "RUN!"
/
A campy whistling tune accompanied with drums and a tuba begins to play in the background. Mike and Dave emerge from behind a tree, and a can of bug spray sat in front of the tree. Dave notices the can and grins. But as he goes over to pick up the spray, a previously unseen rope tightens around the feet of the boy, lifting him up in the air. Mike gasps and immediately ascends the tree to help. While Mike was up in the tree, Heather crept into the scene and rummaged through the bag to find energy bars. She grins and runs away with them, Dave crashing to the ground moments later.
/
Heather and Dawn walk calmly on the side of the riverbank, Mike and Dave popping up from behind a bush with grins on their faces. Dave puts on a mask made of an old burlap sack, and Mike tosses a rock into the river. The girls turn towards the river with confused looks on their faces when suddenly Dave rushes out with a screech. Both girls notice Dave and scream, Heather accidentally tossing the bag as she and Dawn scramble away. Mike walked up to the bag and grabbed their energy bars back, along with a wool hat before taking off.
/
Mike and Dave sat down by a tree, eating some of the energy bars they had stolen. Dave was about to take another bite when something dripped onto his shoulder. He slowly glanced over at his shoulder, then looked up just as mud splattered onto the Normal Boy. He splutters in disgust, quickly getting up to clean himself off. Heather once again snags the bag Dave had been watching, pulling out a sleeping bag, only to turn and see a frowning Dawn. Heather grins sheepishly and shrugs.
/
Mike puts on the wool cap and gasps, Manitoba grinning before starting to dig. A flash forward shows Dave and Manitoba covering a large hole with sticks, leaves, and dirt, Dave laying down the last couple branches before jumping into a nearby bush. The girls walk through the open area only to step right onto the pit trap, both girls screaming as they hit the ground with a thud. Mike, hat now taken off quickly caught the bag before it fell down. He smiled when he pulled out a map, setting down the bag and rushing off as the campy tune came to a close.
/
The moon rose high above the island, a swarm of bats flying by the camera as suspenseful music began to pick up. The camera flashes to Mike and Dave walking down a moonlit path. "I can't believe Heather stole our sleeping bag and lighter! I don't know what we're gonna do to stay warm tonight…" Dave says with a nervous tone.
"Yeah, unless the girls are willing to camp with us tonight we're in trouble." Mike agrees, a frown forming on his face. He sniffs the air as they walk, grimacing in disgust. "Dude, that's not you is it?" Dave shakes his head furiously. "Mike, you should know I would never smell like rotting garbage." Dave shudders as he gets a whiff of the scent as well.
He bumps into Mike, who was looking down at something in the dirt. The camera pans down to show a massive footprint indented in the ground, Mike shushing Dave. "Oh no, I hope Sasquatchanakwa isn't here!" he shouts in a forced, over the top manner. Dave catches on and also shouts. "He better not be hiding around here, I'll drop my stuff and run!" A rustle in a nearby bush alerts the two, and Mike turns to the Normal Boy and grins.
He slowly approaches the rustling brush, and cries out as he jumps into the bush with no hesitation. A roar is heard as the spiky haired boy pops back out from the bushes, now atop the large form of Sasquatchanakwa. "T-th-th-th-MIKE!" Dave shouts, wide eyed and shivering in fear. Mike looks down, the beast making eye contact with him.
The lanky boy screams, and so does Sasquatchanakwa who flails its arms and runs towards Dave. All three run in the same direction, Dave leading the charge.
/
Dawn looks around with the night vision goggles, a smile on her face as she waves to nearby creatures. "Oh what a majestic deer!" the camera switches to the view of the goggles, showing the doe watching Dawn with wide eyes, "oh and a bird is still up!" she says as she spots a bird in a nearby tree, "and there's Sasquatchanakwa!" she continued looking around before doubling back, noticing Dave sprinting towards them, arms flailing as the giant beast still ran behind him, Mike still atop his shoulders.
"Heather…RUN!" Dawn shouts, causing Heather to look back and notice the sight. She screams, her and Dawn taking off. Dave rushes after the two girls, the sasquatch and Mike not far behind them.
/
The girls rushed into a cave entrance, stopping in the pitch black interior to catch their breath. "Dawn?" Heather calls out, her eyes appearing in the bottom right.
"Heather?" Dave answers, the Normal Boy's eyes appearing in the top left.
"Dave?" Dawn adds with some confusion in her voice, eyes popping into view in the bottom left.
"Dawn?" Mike responds, his eyes opening in the top right.
"Mike?" Dawn replies.
"Mike?!" Dave cries out with a happy tone.
"Okay, now that roll call is over," Heather snaps, "what are we gonna do about that…thing?" A pair of red eyes pop open in the middle of the four.
"Do you think it'll leave if we toss some of our bars outside?" Dave suggests, and the red eyes almost seem to frown. "I doubt it, those aren't probably good for him." Mike replies.
"Well we better do something, you obviously can't fight it." Heather huffs once more, and several pairs of small red eyes appear all around the group. "P-please tell me that the warm feeling on my shoulder is Mike's hand."
"No, that would be one of the bats." Dawn says quickly and simply. The cave went silent for a moment before Dave let loose a scream, and the four campers and Sasquatchanakwa all screamed in fear. Cutting to the outside entrance, the Sasquatch ran out of the entrance they entered with its arms flailing. Panning to the left, the camera lands on a similar looking entrance, the four teens quickly sprinting out. As they fled, a swarm of bats followed them out, their screeches echoing through the forest.
/
The four teens take long breaths as they come to a rest a ways away from the cave. "What the heck was that?" Mike shouts, looking rather bewildered. "That Mike, was Sasquatchanakwa," Dawn answers, "and he was just as scared of us as we were of him in there."
"Well I for one, am not taking another step tonight." Dave proclaims, setting down their pack and slumping down on a nearby log. "Y'know, I'm pretty tired after all that running around too." Heather agrees, Dawn giving her a suspicious look but saying nothing. "Mike, do you wanna go get some firewood for us?" the Queen Bee requests.
"Sure," Mike shrugs, "be right back you guys!" he shouts as he takes off towards the woods.

"The boys are playing hero once again." Heather grins and flicks her hair behind her head. "They're both too easy to manipulate. It gives me the perfect chance to take Dawn and dip. Let's just hope little ms psychic doesn't catch on." she frowns, now looking rather upset.
(static)
"Look, I don't trust Heather at all, but we don't have much of a choice here." Mike informs the confessional camera. "We're tired, hungry, and after the whole Sasquatchanakwa incident, I don't know if Dave is ready to split into groups of two until morning." he shudders and continues. "And frankly, neither am I."

A crackling fire lights up the small clearing the four campers sat in, all huddling around the fire to stay warm. Dawn meditates peacefully by the edge of the makeshift camp, Daev shivering next to her. "Dave, you must go get the sleeping bag if you don't want to contract hypothermia." the Moonchild calmly tells the Normal Boy, who nods in agreement. He snatched the sleeping bag and wrapped it around himself, sighing in relief.
Mike eyed Heather warily as she sat next to him, glancing every so often at the lanky boy. "Uh…you okay? We're not exactly friends or allies anymore." he says as he shifts away from the Queen Bee. She frowns but says nothing, letting the heat and glow of the fire hit her face.
"It's nothing. I'm just cold, and was hoping to get some sleep." she yawns and leans back against a nearby tree. "So, you want me to take the first watch?" Mike asks the girl, who nods, dozing off peacefully. The lanky boy sighed but nodded. "It's not like anyone else could do it." the camera quickly pans over to show a snoring Dave and a peaceful looking Dawn watching Mike clean up camp.
"Mike, don't worry about watching camp. I can easily stay up the entire night." the moonchild sweetly tells Mike. "Thanks Dawn I really appreciate it." He gives her a soft smile, and douses the fire. After a few seconds, he grunts as he finds himself a sleeping spot, and dozes off as well.
Dawn sits peacefully by the doused fire with her legs folded, arms out in a lotus position. A sudden rustle startles her to look around, a suspenseful tune quickly building. After a quick look around, she once again closes her eyes, only to gasp as a hand covers her mouth, pulling her into the night without a sound.
/
Mike lies asleep, the light of the sun now hitting his face. "DUDE WAKE UP!" a voice shouts, waking him up. His eyes snap open, and Dave stands by him with a panicked look. "The girls, the fire, our stuff!" he wails, hands on his head and a crazed look in his eyes. "They left without us Mike, we're gonna dieeeeee!"
/
A laughing Heather runs onward with both bags around her shoulders, Dawn not far behind with an angry scowl set on her face.

(static)
"I can't believe how easy that was!" Heather grins widely, arms wrapped around her waist. "It was sooo easy to trick the boys I was sleeping, put on the night vision goggles, and grab Dawn and run!"
(static)
Dawn frowns at the camera before starting. "I should've known Heather was up to something, but of course I was so absorbed in nature's energy that I didn't even notice her!" Dawn throws her hands in the air looking rather frustrated. "Oh I fear the consequences this will have for Mike and Dave…"

xxx
"What are we gonna do, what are we gonna do?" Dave paces back and forth, hands still on his head. Mike still stands underneath the tree, a heavy look on his face. "I just can't believe that Dawn would abandon us like that…" he mumbles.
"Now we don't even know how to get back, we have no food, no water-" Dave stops as he suddenly sniffs the air, an aroma wafting through the air. He takes another deep breath, and his eyes light up. "Hey, that smells like cinnamon." Mike and Dave both look at each other before shouting in unison. "CHEF!"
/
A peaceful melody begins as a shot of camp comes into view, a scent visible exiting the main lodge's chimney. A quick cut to the inside shows a pan of cinnamon rolls, and Chef's hand opens the oven. He pulls out the cinnamon rolls and sighs after taking a long sniff. "Mmmmm. That's some oven lovin'."
/
Dave and Mike race through the woods, both looking hopeful as they ran. "You sure this'll lead us to camp?!" Mike shouts as he stays behind Dave, the Normal Boy looking more confident as he runs. "Yes! I just needed to know the general direction of where the camp was, and then I found some semi familiar landmarks!" Dave pants as they continue to race forward, hoping to catch up with the girls.
/
Chef walks past a large totem pole to a waiting chair, the pan of rolls still hot in his hands. He goes to sit down but is interrupted by a shout. "Look, there's camp!"
"Aw crap." Chef mutters before turning towards the noise. Heather and a reluctant looking Dawn make their way towards camp, but Mike and Dave burst from behind them, panicked looks on their faces. "Quick! Touch the totem pole!" Dave shouts, Mike racing towards the girls.
The lanky boy passes a now panting Dawn, and grins as he catches up with Heather. "Sorry, sucker, but this is my game to lose!" she shouts, and slings one of the packs back towards him. He ducks below the bag, but it was enough to distract him from the rapidly approaching jutting rock. Slamming his foot into the rock, crying out in pain as he falls to the ground. The camera pans to the totem pole, Heather looking back as she touches the wooden piece, Mike helpless to do anything. "YES we won!" Heather shouts happily, Dawn and Dave coming to a stop near Mike. "Dude, are you okay?" he asks, and MIke's only answer was a pained groan.
"Alright, games over!" Chef shortly announces, looking rather annoyed. "Girls win, guys lose. See you runts at the ceremony tonight." he mutters, grumpily walking away, eating his cinnamon rolls as he leaves the screen.

"I can't believe Heather won…again!" Mike moans in anguish, one of his shoes missing, a pack of ice wrapped around his pant leg. "And even worse, if I somehow manage to not get the boot, I can't really move well."
(static)
"Too easy." is all Heather says, her signature smirk on her face.
(static)
"Damn it!" Dave slams his fist against the confessional wall. He grimaces before continuing. "I got so far to lose after Heather injured Mike? That's low. I really thought we had a chance to win there." Dave sighs and continues. "I just hope she gets whats coming to her."
(static)
"Heather didn't need to take me to win, but she knew I'd warn the others." Dawn angrily pouts, looking rather out of sorts. "I don't know how, but I do know the universe will not let her deeds go unpunished."

"This, was supposed to be my day." Chef complains to the four sitting campers as he paces back and forth. "I had it all planned out. I was gonna relax with one of Heather's facials," the Queen Bee gasped, "and read Dave's weird log book!" Dave also gasps after hearing Chef's plan.
"And then, I was gonna take a nap with Mike's weighted blanket," the lanky boy's eyes widened in surprise, "and was gonna finish the day eating my sticky buns and ward off some evil with Dawn's charm!" the mystics hand went to her mouth in shock.
Chef comes to a stop near the oil drum, anger in his eyes. "And you all ruined it!" he grumbles and fiddles in his pocket. He pulls out two marshmallows and tosses them to Heather and Dawn. "Here's your invinci-darn-bility." Heather happily catches hers, while Dawn looked rather sad.
The camera cuts to Mike and Dave, who give each other a knowing look before turning back to watch Chef with keen interest. "One of you two bozos is going home, and I get to decide who." He grins extra wide, and the music begins to peak. The camera cuts between Mike, Dave, and a grinning Chef, the music swelling.
The camera cuts to Mike, then Chef, then Dave, and continues to cut between the three, until the music stops, Chef launching the final marshmallow. "Tall and scrawny, you're still safe." Mike is shown with the treat in his lap, a disappointed Dave still next to him. Chef rushes over and points to the Normal Boy. "You! Germaphobe, you're outta here!"
Dave gets up and take a long breath. "About time. I was at my limit weeks ago with all these disgusting challenges.

"Left, left, left right left!" Chef shouts as he leads Dave down the dock of shame, the other three campers waiting for him as well. "Come on soldier, do I look like someone who's got all day?!" Chef shouts, now boarding the boat. Dave pauses when he approaches Dawn, the girl looking rather sad. "Hey, uhh, I'm not all great at this cheering up stuff, but you'll beat her." he reassures the Moonchild, who gives him a quick but strong hug.
"You played well, too bad you ruined your chance of getting to the final three by leaving me." Heather says as Dave passes her, rolling his eyes at her words. He finally stops by Mike, who stands by a support log, leaning on it for support. "Sorry I couldn't win dude." Mike says, sadness in his eyes. Dave shakes his head. "Just win this thing. You've got a ton of people backing you up."
Dave steps onto the boat of losers and waves as it immediately takes off into the night, the other three campers waving back as the boat disappears.

"So, it looks like we're the final three." Heather congratulates as the three remaining campres sat around the fire.

"The final three! I'm so close I can smell it." Heather happily proclaims in the confessional. "Amy, you should not have been eliminated like that. I totally feel your pain." she starts to sniff before continuing. "And Lindsay, I'm so so sorry about what I did. I hope you can forgive me. I mean, you are my BFF." she finishes with another sniff, but a big smirk dressed on her face.

"Wow, I never thought I'd make it this far." Mike says in disbelief. "I thought my disorder would've gotten me kicked off way sooner. But, I've got to win this thing…for Zoey!" he smiles, looking confident and determined.

"Dear Universe, please allow me one selfish wish…" Dawn prays with her hand folded together, "let me take down Heather! I don't care if I don't win, but she must not go any farther!"

Ominous music begins to play as Dave slumps on the boat, looking rather bored. "Hey, how long does this ride take anyways?" The camera cuts to the front of the boat, zooming into the darkness to reveal Sasquatchanakwa driving the boat. It turns around and roars at Dave, the Normal Boy screaming in terror. But just as quickly, it grabbed it's head and pulled, revealing Chef to be underneath and in costume.
He cackles, Dave sighing in relief. Then out of the blue, he grabs his head again, and reveals himself to be the yeti in a Chef costume. Dave screams once more, and it once again pulls off it's head to reveal a cackling Chef. This cycle continues, Dave sighing and screaming as masks fly into the night, the boys cries echoing into the night.

Oh my lord, I didn't even know it's been this long! I have been working 12 hour days and i guess the time has flown by faster than I thought. For you loyal readers, I sincerely apologize. Onto story related notes, the FINAL THREE is here! I know it's not what a ton of you were expecting, but it's who I've wanted since the beginning. And that meant Dave had to go. Poor Dave, he was a character that I wanted to fix badly, but also didn't know how to necessarily. I think I did okay making him a semi awkward brainiac, but I also need to address his main issue in canon, his anger and tantrums. I promise Dave's development isn't done. Also, this canon episode was never really that fun or that interesting in my opinion, I found it rather unoriginal and lacking in drama/content. But now, Mike, Heather, and Dawn battle for a spot in the finale! Let me know who you think will be our finalists! I'm so excited to be this close, and I'm extremely excited for the future seasons as well. Let's finish strong!
