Now, Back to I don't know what to do now
After those words left my mouth. I couldn't help but think that was something cliché to say. This, this is a lot to take in to be honest. That reincarnation is actually real and I am now in the body of Dave. Yes, that Dave. The Germaphobe, the guy who went insane and pushed everyone away from him by his attitude. Not to mention getting absolutely panned by the whole Total Drama Fandom. Though, some people actually like him. I actually pitied him to be honest. Having to last that long in the game, only to lose then get stranded on the island you just survived on before getting mauled by a bear. That is a lot of shit being thrown at you.
"I'm in the body of that Germaphobe, Dave! Okay it's not all lost I just have to not be a jerk to Sky or not. Maybe Ella I mean she is a bit naive and... Oh, who am I kidding! I'm stuck in the body of this loser!" I put my hands on my head and started to panic. This is by far the worst situation I was ever put in. But still, I have to make the best of the current life I have and absolutely damn lucky I get to start over again. Especially knowing what happened to him and how to prevent it.
"Dave, is that you?"
'Ah, shit.' I froze, I never thought I would be caught by his parents. 'Wait what am I gonna do?! I don't know even know these people?!' I mentally screamed
Slowly turning around, I made eye contact with one of his parents. Only it wasn't one of his parents or at least I thought it could be his mom. Instead, it was a teenage girl around maybe 15 or 16 and 5'7 in height wearing a white shirt and some pants looking at me curiously. 'Wait did he have siblings? I mean the wiki didn't exactly mention any family or whatever from what I remember. Guess this means I am in a different universe than canon.' Mentally thinking I decided to play my best 'I don't how I got here' card and try and make it stick
"…Sis is that you?" I shyfully asked while placing a hand on my elbow. God, I hope I don't have to do this over and over again
"Yes, it's me, I was just getting something to drink. When I saw you walking in here. What are you doing up so late?" she replied, helpfully
My mind drew a blank. And a voice in my head kept repeating: "Oh fuck what am I going to do?! I have no sister, nor brother, not even siblings! How am I suppose to interact in this situation. What am I even going to say?!"
So, I just tried the tried-and-true method of "I was scared and wanted to turn the lights." I said softly and my eyes downcast. I did not exactly think his voice would sound this cute. Okay, maybe it is cute.
"Okay, you want me to take you back to your room and leave the lights on?" I flashed a grateful smile this always work if you are so cute.
She then walked over to me put a hand on my back then I walked with her. I got this warm and fuzzy feeling when her hand was placed on my back. Was this what it feels like to have siblings? I put that back to my memories for safekeeping. I was brought back to my room and walked right into bed. My sister gave me a smile while I pretended to put myself snuggly into the blanket, before walking back to her room she left the door open and turned on the light outside. Allowing me to sleep without fear of the dark.
'This is extremely weird and a complete understatement of my current situation. One, this Dave has a sister or siblings. I'll find out about that in the morning. Two, I'm in Total Drama about maybe a few years off of when maybe the show begins airing or by maybe at World Tour. I don't know when I am in Canon as they don't usually put much emphasis on the time that and the fact that advanced technology exists here. So, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.' I counted off all the things I learned and guessed where I am in Canon.
"No matter. I will build myself a new life here and make Dave come out on top. But also, I get to the something I always wanted." I said to myself before shutting my eyes and dozing off to sleep.
I eventually woke up from a long night's sleep. Well, possibly the best sleep I ever had since forever. Being at work, always kept me up until midnight to early in the morning. I barely could even get a good night's sleep because I was swamped with paperwork I had to sign and process. Gladly, I was reborn as a kid again so I have to worry about that anymore. A nice smell began to waft into my bedroom.
'Probably, breakfast' I thought, well there's no use backing out now time to meet my parents
I followed the nice aroma out of bedroom and into the hallway. After a short walk, I found myself in the dining room there my sister and a man we're sitting at a table. Not to farm from there on a stove a woman was busy cooking breakfast. I'm guessing that guy would be Dave's father and he was at least 6 foot tall with dark scruffy hair, a matching beard, and he was wearing a slightly unbuttoned shirt with yoga pants on. The woman would be his mother. She was a little bit shorter than her husband but taller than Dave's sister. She was wearing a pair of Pajamas that had a floral pattern on them.
"Hi, mom. Hi, dad. Hi, sis." I greeted them
"You came just in time, Dave. Have a seat, breakfast is almost ready." His mom said in a sweet voice
'I got to start treating them as if they were my parents. If I was gonna keep this lie more believable.' I made that mental note and walked to the table. The seat let out a small groan and I sat on it. Kicking my little legs a bit as I waited for breakfast to be finished. 'Gee, I wonder what'll it be? Maybe be it'll be the classic bacon and eggs? Or maybe something with toast? How about pancakes or waffles and-"
Okay that's enough of that, let's get back to episode 1, shall we?
