All right sorry for jumping the gun back there. But we needed to move ahead with the story. And well I think you all are a tad bit curious as to who that mysterious newcomer that replaced Dave is. But enough of that filler let's get write into the episode. I mean right into the episode! And Happy Valentines Day and Ash Wednesday to you all!
As for our mysterious newcomer he was waiting for just the right moment to open his parachute. Back inside the blimp everyone was scrambling to grab a parachute and get out of the freefalling blimp. While everyone was getting out through the emergency exits, the Chris imitator decided to compliment his idol.
"This is great you've out done yourself, Chris. Parachute?" he asked about to handover one to Chris or so he thought.
"No. No, thank you. I'm actually a hologram." Hologram Chris, explained
"What? Why ain't I a hologram?" Chef asked before confirming his suspicion by poking a finger at Hologram Chris and seeing it pass through and his image fizzling out. Gasping in surprise he let out "Abandon ship!" before grabbing the brown-haired guy's parachute and jumping out of the emergency exit followed by the latter.
The contestants and Chef were screaming and panicking as they slowly plummeted to earth.
"The koala says cluck to the platypus fluck." the dark-skinned Australian said to calm herself down before pulling the cord of here parachute and the top part of the bag opened up the canopy, revealing it to be a real parachute.
The guy who could make all kinds of sounds pulled his parachute cord only for a chicken laying an egg to pop out. He made the wah-wah trumpet sound for taking a fake parachute.
Meanwhile for the twin cheerleaders, one was holding on desperately on the leg of the one with the beauty mark. The former opened her chute this time it was a real one. She gasped "Oh, I'll miss you sis, not much but probably not at all. Later!" she kicked her off but in a stroke of luck the other girl's parachute was also revealed to be working.
"Oh, fine! You can live." She said in annoyance
The Cree girl pulled her parachute, sighing in relief that it was a working one.
The next who got a dud parachute was that southern pageant queen, that was filled with trophies and a tiara, to boot!
That wizard got one filled with feathers. "Better try and cast an invulnerability spell." He said, pulling out a spell book from his coat
For the Chris idol worshipping teen, he got a working parachute "Hah, I knew Chris wouldn't let me fall."
The tall farmer boy got a parachute full of tambourines. But for the princess she managed to snag one them and began to sing. Causing a small flock of birds to latch on to her arms and shoulders then gently began to glide her to safety. Next, we have that purple-haired boy who got a parachute filled with hotdogs.
"Darn processed food. I'm eviler than you." He frowned as he continued to plummet to the ground
For our redhead genius, she got a parachute that had a teddy bear inside that had a parachute on for some reason. "Is the cuteness of the toy a grim contrast to the plight at hand? Probably not, just a silly mockery by Chris?" she said in defeat at the parachute she got
Our resident zombie survivalist got a working parachute. Hooray!
And lastly our strange new contestant was still plummeting precariously to the ground until he removed himself from the harness and continued falling at a fast rate. Seriously why did he do that?!
Everyone safely landed with their parachute or in the case of the ones who got the dud parachutes, crashed on to the beach or in the water for a much softer landing. As for our main protagonist he made landfall in the middle kicking a lot of sand in the air and striking a sick superhero pose when he landed. Some were in awe when he did that. Not me even one speck of sand was on him! Immediately the Cree Girl ran up to him and asked "Are you alright?" concerned after seeing him make a rough landing.
"No. I am fine." He simply said, checking himself to see if there was any speck of sand on him. Thankfully, there was none.
And for the Host with the Most he was walking towards everyone as they all gathered up into groups. Except Chef, who looked like he just snagged on a tree and fell down several branches. And the princess who landed with a pink bird on her head which gently setting her down while humming. This freaked out Chris while she remained oblivious to his shocked expression.
"Thank You, my feathered friend." She said as the bird flew away
"You could have at least given me one of the parachutes." Chef said exasperated at his co-host's negligence, getting Chris out of his funk from seeing that bizarre thing
"Shoulda. Coulda. Oops! Didn't. But you're right and I forgive you." he said in mock apology "Let's see. One, two, four, six, eight, twelve" Chris started to count off the contestants on the beach to see if they were all present, then pulling out a clipboard. "Huh. Only one missing not so bad." Chris did not know the one who was worshipping him was stuck in a tree after his parachute got snagged on it.
He tried pulling on the chords to get himself unstuck from his predicament"Chris! Can you help me? My parachute got stuck in a tree and I can't get it loooooossseee! OOF!" the teen couldn't finish that sentence as he finally got himself free before dropping to the ground on his butt.
"Welcome to Pahkitew Island!" he greeted everyone "On the right everyone who had actual parachutes: Topher, Jasmine, Sky, Shawn, Amy, Samey."
"Uh, it's Sammy." She corrected the host, which got her sister mad
"Amy, says that everyone calls you, Samey." Chris reasoned
"Well, yes. But-" she tried to say before Chris cut in
"Because you're the second twin. The lesser Amy if you will"
"But my real name is-" the girl tried to explain again
Chris got tired at this point and decided to call it night right now. "You're officially Samey." It then cut to her in the outhouse confessional
Confessional
Samey: This is so unfair. I auditioned on Total Drama to get away from Amy.
Confessional Ends
"And last is, um, you didn't exactly write your name down. So, who are you?" Chris asked to the last contestant
"Akemi Hajime." The mystery man said bluntly in a deep accented voice
"Okay." Chris did not want elaborate further from that
Reading from a card he picked up from his pocket "Your team will be Pimapotaw Kinosewak, which is Cree for the 'Soaring Eagles'!" A purple emblem depicted an eagle spreading its wings was shown
"Sorry, that means the 'Floating Salmon'." Sky said apologetically that Chris got that name wrong
The team emblem changed to that of an appropriately green floating salmon. "Huh, guess you're the floating Salmon then?" The host of Total Drama was confused scratching his head at his note. "And those without chutes; Leonard, Max, Scarlett, Rodney, Sugar, Beardo, and Ella. Your team is Waneyihtam Maskwak which means the 'Ferocious Ti—'"
"The Confused Bears?" Sky said correctly again, the other teams logo being a purple bear looking confused with a question mark next to it
Chris ripped up his paper in irritation. "This is what you get for using a free online translator." He said giving an annoyed look at Chef.
"My bad." His co-host wittingly replied and scoffed and shrugged not really caring as he walked off-screen
"Any who, seeing there is nowhere for any of you to sleep tonight. We figured your first challenge should be to build your own shelter." He explained
"Oh, yeah. One more thing." Chris raised a finger "Akemi Hajime you have to go over to Waneyihtam Maskwak."
"What? But he had a parachute." Sky asked in surprise
"Yes. Except, it was his own parachute. And according to the rules bringing your own items is illegal. So, you will have to go over there." Chris said smugly
The guy didn't really care and just stomped towards his new team. With everyone taking a step back due to his intimidating stature and appearance.
Hi everyone Happy Labor Day to you all and Happy Birthday to me on April 30 and May 1 respectively. I hope you all stayed tune for the eventual drop of this chapter. Because I am going to expand more on Chapter 4 focusing on my OCs school life and also dealing with an interim and maybe a behind-the- scenes from Chris and Chef, maybe the interns too. If I feel like it.
