Rise Of G-Morph And The Amazing Spider-Man by Amit Barabi:
Here is a summary for those who read this story on their phone's browser:
Gwen Stacy is chosen by Eunice to become the successor of the Hero Of Heroes, Ben Tennyson. Please read and enjoy her origin as the heroine, G-Morph, and her ever-growing adventure with her arachnoid boyfriend, Spider-Man.
This story is mainly based on the movies of The Amazing Spider-Man and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it also has some original ideas. Peter and Gwen are pairing. I was inspired by The Incredible Muffin's My Alien Academia and Ben 10: Unlimited. This story was originally titled "Wristed Heroes". This is the first story of my big planned series, Amit's Cinematic Universe, or ACU for short.
Ben 10 does not belong to me. Spider-Man and the rest of Marvel do not belong to me. Ben 10 belongs to Cartoon Network and was made by Man Of Action and Spider-Man and Marvel belong to Disney and were made by Stan Lee.
I must say, writing this story is a lot more fun than writing Heroes And Elements. This is why that other fanfiction of mine is going to be canceled for now. That is unless any of you guys want to adapt Heroes and Elements and make it your own.

I just realized that I am still covering the first day of the movie. By the end of this chapter, it will change.
Chapter 4: Spider Tingle.
Peter was on his way home. After turning down Gwen's offer to drive him home out of fear for her safety, Peter had two options: walking home or taking the subway. He felt sick; sicker than he had ever felt in his entire life. It could be physical, but with all of the crazy things that have happened to him, he assumed that it must have been psychosomatic. Whatever the cause was, he couldn't walk home in his condition, so the subway it is.
What a crazy day!
Just this morning, he was a friendless nobody -unless you do count the one friend he has overseas who has pulled his leg with a dumb prank- with next to no memories of his biological parents and had a crush on a girl who seemed to have next to no idea about his existence.
But now?
Now, the girl he had a crush on is willing to date him. Him! And it turned out that she has considered him as a peaceful rival to her intelligence this whole time. It is going to be his first date ever, and it is coming soon, assuming Oscorp will not kill any of them for his latest discovery.
Too bad his relationship with Gwen was not his only concern; it could not be any farther from being his biggest concern! He just found out that his craziest theory was right; Norman Osborn, The man he looked up to the most and his only friend's father, has killed his parents!
How could he have ever looked up to him? How could he have ever trusted him? How could he ever look the man in the eyes without wanting to kill him? Whatever His father's work was, Norman wanted to weaponize it and took Peter's parents from him when his father stood in his way.
Shortly after Peter got on the subway, he fell asleep. Suffering from physical aches and mental exhaustion that he couldn't understand made it impossible to stay in a sitting position or even keep his eyes open. It felt like his muscles were burning! It was like what he felt back when he just started working out a few years ago and his muscles used to hurt due to their growth. But this felt like 10,000 times worse. Burning muscles were not the only thing Peter felt. He also felt great hunger and a strange tingle in his head; the tingle was indescribable, unfamiliar, and disturbing, all coming at once.
With all of these physical and mental sensations going through him, Peter collapsed on one of the benches and fell asleep. Shortly after the brunette teenager fell asleep, a drunk old man who held a bag full of empty bottles of different booze in one hand and a half-empty bottle of beer in his other hand saw Peter sleeping on the train's bench and decided to mess with him, and put his half-finished bottle of beer on Peter's forehead.
The moment a drop from the sweating bottle touched Peter's forehead, the tingle in his head went off, and he immediately acted on reflex. Peter's right leg pushed him with enough force to flip backward and kick the drunk old man in the shoulder with his left foot against the farthest wall of the subway car and break all of his bottles. That is followed by Peter standing on his two feet. Not being used to getting up so fast, Peter balanced himself by grabbing a pole and noticing something weird.
"Why can't I let go?!"
Peter tried to pull his hand by force, but surprisingly, he ripped the pole out of its place. And to add to his surprise, without any effort. He did not even notice that his glasses fell off during his flip.
Before Peter had time to wonder about it any further, the drunk old man got up and tried to stab Peter in the head with his now broken beer bottle! "You little shit! I'm gonna fucking kill ya for that!"
It triggered the tingle inside Peter's head again, and on another reflex, Peter hit the man's bottle-holding hand with the pole he could not let go of, followed by a soft pole strike on the back of the man's knees. Once the man was down -yet not badly injured- the pole finally fell off of Peter's hand, and he was glad it was over.
The train stopped at his station shortly after that, and Peter ran from the station all the way home in confusion and fear of what just happened.
Parker resident, later that night.
"There you are," Aunt May greeted her nephew as he entered their home. He looked stressed and somewhat exhausted, and that made her concerned about his well-being, "Is everything okay?"
"How was the tour, Peter?" Uncle Ben asked, "Are they going to hire you?"
"Sorry, Uncle Ben, Aunt May," Peter replied. The symptoms of his mysterious and sudden illness seemed to be gone, at least for now; no burning muscles, no weird tingle in his head, and his newfound strength seemed to be turned off, too, "I got sick after a few minutes, and I think it could be because of Fla…" Peter suddenly felt the tingle again, but to a much lesser degree, as he saw his aunt looking at him worryingly. His aunt would usually have long and one-sided conversations whenever she learned about Flash beating him, and with everything that has happened to him today, he could not let her know about it without saying something that he would regret later, "Falling!"
"What?!"
"I fell in love with the girl who gave us the tour." Peter did have feelings for Gwen, but not only was he not sure if he was in love with her, but he started to fear that their... whatever they are... could put her in danger if Oscorp will find out that he learned about what happened to his parents.
"Oh, is that so? That is incredible, Peter! What is her name?!" Aunt May asked excitedly with high interest, "Is she from your school?"
"She is…" Peter replied shyly, "For a matter of fact, we are going out this next weekend."
"This is wonderful! We must tell you how to behave! First thing first, make sure you have a co-" The elder woman practically cheered her way to the dating lecture. Thankfully, as always, Uncle Ben came to the rescue.
"Come on May, he looks tired," Ben winked at Peter, who blushed at what he knew his aunt was about to say, "We can talk to him about it tomorrow after he returns from school."
"Fine, but we will talk about it before his date." Aunt May agreed to the compromise before looking at their nephew. Even if Peter hadn't had this new "alarming system" in his head, he could still feel something terrible is about to happen, "I don't want to deal with grand-nephews until after you graduate, Peter." There it is.
"Thanks, Uncle Ben," Peter whispered as he walked towards the stairs.
"We will still talk about it tomorrow," Aunt May declared.
"Okay, Aunt May," Peter said as his stomach started to growl in hunger again, "I heard you the first- Watch out!" Faster than humanly possible, Peter ran from near the stairs to where his aunt stood and caught a fly that had just flown in front of his aunt's face by its wings.
She looked at her nephew's hand in shock, noticing the trapped insect, "It's just a fly, Peter. You scared me!"
"I'm sorry," Peter said as he threw the fly away, "I am so sorry. I am irresponsible, and I don't know what is going on with me right now." His hunger took over and he found himself going toward the kitchen. He grabbed all of the meatloaves his aunt made and pretty much any other high-protein foodstuff he could find in the fridge, and then back on his way to the stairs. Surprisingly none of the consumable items he carried slipped from his hands despite his clumsy grip. Even more surprisingly, he managed to free one hand and use it to eat one meatloaf, "I am so hungry. This is a great meatloaf." Peter said as he walked upstairs.
"Do you think he got drunk or something?" Aunt May asked.
"No, I don't think so." Uncle Ben said while trying to figure out the situation.
"Well, something is wrong. I can tell." May replied. She tried to push it to any conclusion.
"Yeah, I know." Ben said with the famous Parker sarcasm, "No one loves your meatloaf that much."
"Are you kidding me?!" May said in frustration while glaring at her husband, "Why didn't you tell me 37 years ago that you don't like them?! All of those meatloaves I made for you."
With Gwen, en route home.
Gwen was disappointed at first that Peter turned off her offer to drive him home, but then she was reminded by Eunice that she had not even taken her car to work today. She used Stinkfly -a green human-sized insectoid alien with four antennas for eyes, four pointy legs, and a stingy tail- to fly to work and back. These were Gwen's first times using the Lepidopterran alien form, and she was thankful she managed to fly all this way to Oscorp Tower without being seen by anyone. Unfortunately, she timed out before getting there, as her current terms with Eunice made it hard for her to listen to the holographic woman's pieces of advice.
Having extra limbs was not a completely new experience due to her practice with Ampfebian's six tentacles, but using her wings required a lot of time to get used to. The way back home was shorter and easier due to the little experience she has acquired. In a way, it was fortunate that Peter did not want her to drive him home. However, it would have been nice to get to know him better and discuss their plans for their upcoming date.
Her first date...
The mental image of carrying Peter around the city of New York as a giant bug made Gwen wonder, should she ever tell Peter about the Omnitrix? 'No way! At least not until I ask the guy who made this watch!' Gwen thought, 'If Peter ever finds out, he will never look at me the same way. He will think that I am a monster!'
But deep down she knew that the Omnitrix was now a part of her life, and if she is going to keep it, some people will have to know. Peter included.
'Speaking of Peter', Gwen thought, 'I should probably check on him before calling it a day.'
Peter's room.
Peter ate his food so quickly that he didn't have much left to eat by the time he entered his room.
Surprisingly, Karen's AI server's cover was in place and the room's window was closed. He did not put the cover in place if memory serves, nor did he close the window. 'Someone was in my room and touched Karen. Could Uncle Ben or Aunt May do this?' Peter thought to himself, 'No way. They barely ever enter my room when I am not here. And whenever they do, they tell me.' That begged the question, who entered his room? Someone had to.
Peter opened Karen's AI server and noticed that the hardware looked completely different. Some new hard disks and processors replaced the old ones, and they looked unique. The motherboard looked far more advanced than anything he could find in that abandoned Stark Industries factory, and the Random-Access-Memories were way higher than the ones he previously installed, but not strange-looking like the previous parts that he has noticed. Not to mention a cooldown system that he had never seen in any computer in his life, and what looked like a new power supply unit with a weird-looking battery attached to it. Even the robotic arm with the old camera at its end that he built but could never get to work was upgraded and relocated next to the server. He built said arm so Karen could recognize him and have other ways to know he was around without the motion sensors.
Only once he tried to put the cover back in place, did Peter notice a sticky note attached to the inside of the cover: 'Keep her safe, B.T.' Peter read the note.
"Who the hell is B.T?" Peter mumbled to himself, "Now I know for sure it couldn't be my uncle or aunt. But who entered my room and why did they fix and upgrade Karen? And how didn't my uncle and aunt hear them coming?"
Before Peter could wonder about the subject any further, he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket. He looked at the screen and saw a text message from Gwen. Surprisingly, the annoying tingle in his head did not go off by that, and his hands did not feel sticky when he grabbed his phone.
Gwen: Hey, Peter, how are you feeling?
Peter looked at his phone's screen and suddenly noticed something weird; his glasses were gone ever since he flipped during that train ride, but his vision was not blurry at all. Come to think of it, his vision never felt clearer.
'How am I feeling?' Peter debated in his head, 'I have no fricking idea! I... How do I reply to that? What the hell is going on with me?!'. Between getting the attention of the girl he has a crush on and another older girl from Oscorp, discovering that Norman Osborn has killed his parents and would probably want to do the same to him if his discovery will come to his attention, finding out that someone broke into his room and fixed his secret science project, and all of these mysterious physical changes, Peter could not come any close to describe how he felt.
His phone vibrated again, but this time, Peter accidentally cracked it with the sheer strength of his grip. Thankfully, it was not completely crushed. He looked at the cracked screen and saw another text from Gwen.
Gwen: Are you asleep? We can talk tomorrow if you want.
Seeing that he couldn't let go of his phone now, Peter put his free hand under his shirt and carefully typed through it to avoid breaking his phone any further or sticking to it. Maybe he was starting to get the hang of it, or maybe his stickiness could just apply to one hand at a time, or the fabric of his shirt was enough to block it. Whatever the reason was, he could type on his now-damaged phone.
Peter: No, I'm awake. I don't feel so good.
Peter: Can you ask someone tomorrow to deliver my homework to me after school?
There was a pause for a moment, and then Peter's phone vibrated again.
Gwen: I hope you will get better soon. I wish you health.
Gwen: I have a free hour between school and work tomorrow, so I can deliver it to you myself. Can you send me your address? I asked one of the secretaries on the ground floor, but she said that it is against Oscorp's policies to give away people's addresses and other personal data without their permission.
Gwen tried to call him after this exchange, but when he answered, it turned out that his phone's microphone was crushed. When he texted her that he accidentally dropped his phone on his way home, she texted him back that he still managed to make a great impression on Doctor Connors and that she would tell him more in person after school.
'Okay, so she is not in trouble for claiming that she knows me,' Peter took in a breath of relief, 'I guess it means that no one at Oscorp Tower knows about me finding that weird room.'
Peter texted Gwen his home address and thanked her for both her kindness and gesture. 'I wonder if people who watch us from the side think that we are a couple...' Peter thought to himself, 'I better not screw things between us.' At least he already learned her birthday date when he just started taking pictures of Midtown's Science Debate Team. It could come in handy in about 10 months. Not too hard to remember. Gwen is only a month and a half younger than Peter after all.
Peter decided to go to bed and ask his guardians about Karen tomorrow; he would have asked them about any near-accidents that could be initiated by Oscorp, but with Gwen being safe, it is likely that his uncle and aunt will not be harmed in any way by that cursed company.
He tried to take off his shirt, but his stickiness was still active, resulting in his shirt being ripped off his torso and his jacket coming off with its own damage, "Come on! Seriously?!" Peter complained to himself out loud as he took off the collar of his ruined shirt, "I only bought this shirt three months ag-ouch!" The brunette teen felt something sticky being ripped off of the back of his neck. He quickly grabbed the mysterious object before it hit the floor of his room and its identity shocked him to his core.
It was one of those spiders from Oscorp Tower's secret room! It looks like it webbed itself to the back of Peter's neck. 'It must have bitten me when I rejoined the group!' He finally started to connect the dots as he remembered that pain he felt before starting to feel bad... well, worse, 'Did this spider give me stickiness, reflexes, strength, and better sight?' The boy touched his face as he wondered about the subject, and then he noticed something. The black eye Flash gave him earlier that day was gone! 'And regeneration too?!'
"I better figure it out quickly. If I broke my phone so easily, then I don't want to even imagine what I could do to a person." Peter mumbled to himself just before realizing something, "Why didn't Osborn use the spiders to heal himself or sell the venom to the military? With this groundbreaking development, the bastard could make an army of Captain America! Could it have anything to do with my dad's interference with Oscorp's projects? Am I strong enough to kill someone by accident?"
'Too many questions for tonight and I am too tired!' Peter thought, 'I have to sleep! Maybe it will all turn out to be a dream tomorrow.'
The Stacys' apartment
Meanwhile, at the same time, in another part of the city, Gwen decided to take a short look at the Omnitrix's features before going to bed.
She had already taken a shower, brushed her teeth, let her hair down, and put on her favorite nightgown.
It was a simple white nightgown with a rounded big collar for the head that left her neck and a small part of her upper chest exposed and short sleeves that only covered her shoulders. The skirt of the nightgown barely covered a quarter of Gwen's thighs in a standing position and covered even less while sitting.
It revealed a lot of skin, which made it better for the warmer nights of the summer over the colder nights of this season, but Gwen still preferred this nightgown over any of her other three nightwear due to how easy it was to move in it in bed while sleeping, unlike the formal dresses that she had to wear whenever her family was invited to a police ceremony. Those formal dresses were uncomfortable and made it hard to move. It was one of the reasons she liked short skirts so much. Well, that and the fact her chest was not very developed in comparison to many other girls from school; The latter of which made her want to feel attractive on top of her status as the smartest student who works in a lab after school. She also added to the nightgown a bright grey night coat made out of a soft and thin fabric since it got too cold tonight for her white nightgown to protect her from the coldness of New York's nights.
The blonde teenager wondered why the Omnitrix acted weird on two different occasions today. The beeping did not last for more than a few seconds and no one seemed to care, but she wondered about it, and she could not be proud to call herself a young scientist had she just overlooked that event and acted as if it was nothing. Also, knowing what caused the Omnitrix to beep like that could help her to prevent such an event from happening again in public. Not to mention how she could not tap into the innate instincts of her alien forms properly ever since she achieved a decent mastery over Upgrade and Greymatter.
It was not an issue until today when she almost timed out midflight when she turned into Stinkfly for the first time and was forced to land at some random building's emergency staircase, walk down the stairs, and then walk the rest of the way to work. She thought that Amphibians was nothing but an incident, but when she struggled with Stinkfly twice, it became clear to Gwen that something was wrong.
She could not just ask Eunice due to her trust issues with the holographic woman after what she did to her at school, and even if she did so right now since her mother worked from home for the night right next to Gwen's room, it was too likely for her to overhear something. She wished she had time for it before bedtime, but she only had a few minutes to spare that she has already spent texting with Peter, and today was already very exhausting.
'The last thing I need is for my parents to think I talk to myself,' Gwen thought to herself, 'It is enough that I only spend time with the Debate Team members and told my parents that I am about to go on my first date with someone with an unknown background. Well, at least he is cute, smart, and willing to help others. Yeah, that would get him some points with my parents. And at least he won't be like that other guy I knew...'
'Enough of that! Let's see if there is anything on this watch's Data Terminal.' Gwen tapped the faceplate twice, paused for one second, tapped it twice again, paused for another second, and then pressed her index finger on the center of the faceplate for four seconds.
The moment the four seconds of pressing passed, a green holographic board appeared in front of Gwen.

*Page 1/10,000*
Gwen searched for a mute bottom for the beepings, but the feature did not seem to exist on any page. With that option being off the table, the blonde teenager had to look through all of the listed features in the hope of at least understanding her struggle with her aliens.
The beepings could not be caused by someone trying to call her via the Communication Mode since the feature is locked and Eunice said that the creator of the Omnitrix will come in person to meet her, but that would only be the most obvious cause for the mysterious beeping. There were too many pages of this list to go through in a few minutes, especially when you are so exhausted and the locked features that covered most of the list were not relevant.
Then, as if she could sense Gwen's struggle, Eunice appeared in a two-dimensional form that resembled a cartoon on the board, "Here," Eunice whispered so quietly that Gwen could barely hear her, "It will help you, but you have to go to sleep in two minutes. I don't want you to blame me, Ben, or the Omnitrix for not doing your best at school tomorrow."
The menu returned to the first page with an additional button on the bottom of the board.
*Display only accessible features*
The name of the new feature said it all. It was so self-explanatory, but it made Gwen wonder, just how much control does Eunice have over the watch and its feat-?
'Wait a minute, how did Eunice know what I was looking for? Did she read my mind?' Gwen wondered, 'And why did she whisper? Could other people see and hear her when she is on this screen? Is she legitimately helping me to regain my trust, or is she manipulating me again?' Too many questions for tonight. It is time to figure out this watch and get at least a few answers! Confronting Eunice could wait for tomorrow.
Gwen pressed the button, and the board changed as she did so; it now showed a different list called "Omnitrix Feature List Settings (Limited Display)". This new list was way shorter than the previous one and differently organized, but the only active functions that she saw on the first page were related to her transformations.
Her curiosity almost made her move to the next page. She had to find out what was going on, and if she could not learn what caused the beepings, the Data Dub feature should be on the next page. She moved to the next page and got a glim at the active feature and was about to press it, but before she could...
"Time is up, Gwen!" Eunice said slightly louder than before as she appeared in her regular holographic form next to Gwen who jumped in surprise with a yelp. "Go to sleep. I am not going to give you a reason to blame us for lacking performance tomorrow."
"Just one more minute. I need to finish!" Gwen said out loud.
"Gwen?" Gwen's mother asked as she approached the door with a gentle knock that followed her entry. Gwen quickly turned off the holographic screen and hid her left hand under the blanket just in time before her mother opened her room's door, "Gwen, are you okay? You need to go to sleep. Why are you still awake?"
Gwen looked at her mother and came up with the first excuse she could think of. "I met this cute guy from school at Oscorp Tower. You know, the guy who asked me out, and I... I was just thinking about him..."
Gwen's mother stood there silently for a moment while Eunice pinched her nose bridge. "This one is on you, so don't blame me if she comes to the wrong conclusion."
Mrs. Stacy thought she saw where her daughter was going with this sentence and decided not to make her finish what she thought she was going to say, "It's okay, honey. It is a common thing for your age, and I do not forbid it. But you must catch your required eight hours of sleep so you will have the strength for tomorrow. Your father and I are very proud of you. Just promise me to make sure not to let your new boyfriend and whatever you do when you think about him stop you from accomplishing any of the goals that you have set for yourself, okay?"
Gwen looked at her mother for a moment of awkward silence. All she wanted to say was that she was worried about Peter's well-being and wanted to text him. But upon realizing what her mother thought she was doing, and what could support her little theory, she couldn't stop herself from blushing. Feeling too tired to explain herself at the moment, she just covered her face with the blanket and went to sleep. She knew with no doubt that she needed her beauty sleep for tomorrow and that her mother and Eunice were right, but she had to find answers sooner or later. But to claim that Peter is standing in her way to the greatness that she always wanted to achieve? Peter was nothing like Patrick!
...
The next morning was quite normal for Gwen. No "accidents" or "incidents" happened during her morning routine. It was such a nice change since finding the Omnitrix. She had her life planned out years ahead in advance, and ever since that watch attached itself to her wrist, she knew things will never be the same, so it made her normal moments feel far more appreciated.
She even managed to convince her mother that she was wrong about her assumption last night. To make things better, Eunice explained to Gwen on her way to school that she just assumed that Gwen wondered last night about the descriptions of the functions she can use at the moment, and while her theory was not on spot, it would still help Gwen in the nearby future. Gwen felt relieved to know that Eunice had not invaded the privacy of her thoughts in any way, but still wished to get an apology for the school incident. Eunice refused to apologize, but to make up for that, she confirmed that she did not cause the beeping alarm at Oscorp Tower, yet she refused to tell Gwen what caused that alarm for some reason.
Normally Gwen would have been mad whenever secrets were kept from her, especially when said secrets involved her. She hated it when people made the choice for her about subjects that involved her. It was her life and her choice! But something was odd about Eunice's expression. The holographic woman looked confused. It was almost as if she was not sure about the subject herself.
"Listen, Eunice," Gwen sighed as they walked to school, "I am not going to stay in the dark about it. So either you tell me, or I will spend our training time finding out myself. You owe me that after what you did to me yesterday."
Eunice thought about her options for a moment before replying, "I don't know for sure myself, and I don't want you to get false information about it. Tell you what, how about I will tell you just the facts that I know for sure, and we figure it out together?" Eunice asked. She still had not apologized for making Peter see Gwen in that embarrassing position yesterday, but that was a step in the right direction. Gwen nodded in approval of this suggestion, "Something was genetically modified in the room you were standing in. I don't know why or what the cause was, but that life-form somehow managed to hide from the scanners before the Omnitrix could even lock on the target, let alone try to fix it."
"What?" Gwen asked in surprise, "I knew the Omnitrix could scan DNA, but how could anything hide its mutation from it in the same room? Do you know what life form it was? Was it one of the lab rats? No, wait. The rats were in another room. So what was it?"
Eunice's expression looked profound. She clearly thought about it over last night, "I don't know how it managed to hide its mutation at all, let alone so quickly. All I know is they were not any of the lab rats, but I should not tell you who I think it was until I know the whole thing myself."
Gwen stopped walking, "Hold on, You said 'who' and 'they'! Was that person?!"
Eunice stopped a moment after Gwen and turned around with a nod, "Yes, they were a human person. I don't know how they did it, but I can theorize that that person could be involved in your boss's research somehow. Cross-Species Genetics is one of the most common causes of a mutation that the Omnitrix would try to fix, but it should usually alarm you only if the life-form is sentient, and even then, the Omnitrix will not act to fix the genetic damage without your approval."
How could a person be involved in practical experiments with Cross-Species Genetics?! They still couldn't work on anything other than rats and mice! So a human being?! There is no way Oscorp would risk experimenting with people already, let alone in one of the public spaces! No, that person must have stolen one of their untested serums and ejected it into themselves without the supervision of Doctor Connors or was ejected by it unwillingly by force. Her mentor would never approve of this kind of experiment happening on his watch.
Speaking of watches, Gwen's Omnitrix started to beep again.
"What is it now?" Gwen asked.
"Something is happening to the description of one of the features! Quick, check it out!"
Gwen made sure that no one in the street looked in her direction and then entered the settings. Once she pressed for long enough on the Genetic Modification feature. It opened a smaller second screen;
[Genetic Modification Mode]
{As the successor of Ben Tennyson and the wielder of the Omnitrix, you will be notified once you will be within the proximity of genetically damaged individuals.
With your approval, the Omnitrix will attempt to fix said genetic damage. However, if the genetic damage is too severe, or if the individual has adapted to their mutation by accepting it, the Omnitrix may not be able to fix the said mutation.}
"Eunice, did you know about this?"
"I certainly did not know about the adaptation part. In all of my years, I have never seen any meta-human who could just accept their mutation so quickly!" Eunice answered in a certain level of confusion. "Humm... Your Omnitrix must have added this part to the description upon learning something on its own. It is uncommon, but the main AI must have figured out something that neither of us had. I will look into it. You will try to have a normal day."
How could she just let it go and have a 'normal day' now? That was another strange thing added to the pile of-
Her train of thought was cut off when she heard a small kitten meowing. He was a beautiful male grey kitten with a white belly, chest, and jaw that highlighted his blueish-green eyes and his grey squirrel-like tail. The kitten looked so beautiful and cute, yet so unhealthily skinny.
"Are you hungry, little guy?" Gwen asked. She noticed that Eunice tried to pet the hungry kitten, but her holographic hand just passed through the little furry creature, "I didn't know you liked cats, Eunice," Gwen said with a smile as the cat was unaware of the holographic woman and kept meowing cutely.
Eunice looked upset that she could not comfort the kitten before disappearing without saying a word, 'Did I say something that offended her?' Gwen thought.
The kitten kept meowing, clearly begging for food. Gwen pulled a tuna sandwich out of her backpack and handed it to the kitten gently, "Here, take this, little guy. It is all I have, but you will probably need it more than I will."
The kitten gratefully took the tuna sandwich and left to an alleyway, and Gwen could swear he was smiling at her for a second. With that, Gwen knew the starving kitten will live through the day.
...
The grey kitten enjoyed his humble meal. He searched for a safe spot to comfortably rest while digesting it. He thought he found just the place, but then, a white portal opened, and a pair of black furry feet landed next to him and scared the kitten away right before the portal closed.
The humanoid creature's whole body was covered with black fur. He had cat-like ears and yellow cat-like eyes. He wore a black combat suit that was equipped with melee weapons. He tapped his foot against the floor rapidly at high speed, waiting for his would-be boss, "Where is he?! I hate waiting for work!"
"I'm right here, you hairy imbecile," A pale man in a black hoody said from behind him, "I already start doubting hiring you. If you can't wait for the right moment in this field of job, mister Maher, then I don't see how you could hope to capture the target I am setting for you!"
"Hey!" The assassin glared, "I made enough of a reputation to have you calling me. And for your information, boss, I am a great snip-" The Citikayrah mercenary started to speak smugly, but after seeing his new boss's glaring red eye, he immediately learned his place, "So who do you want me to kill, umm?" His new boss looked somewhat familiar, but he could not quite pinpoint his name.
The pale man narrowed his eyes and smiled menacingly, "I don't want you to kill anyone. I want you to capture Ben Tennyson's successor. They had their replica of the Omnitrix for less than a week. It should make them inexperienced enough to give a worthless excuse of an assassin like you the chance to capture them, Ratz. As for why I hired you specifically, it is because of your low reputation, and I am paying you extra just to keep it a secret. The last thing I want is to have HIM coming here. Oh, and as for how you are supposed to address me, call me Alien V."
"Y-you can insult my reputation as much as you want as long as you pay me, Alien V." The Citikayrah mumbled in fear, "Wait, Omnimaster chose a successor?! Not that I wouldn't hurt them for this fair share, sir, but you can't expect me to take down Magister Tennyson without some heavy weapons! I am going to have to turn this place into a freaking warzone just to get a few good hi-" The black Citikayrah, now known as Ratz Maher, tried to protest in fear for his life, but was cut off by his boss as he closed the distance and locked his hand around Ratz's throat
"What part of keeping it a secret do you not understand, Citikayrah?! I don't want to attract Ben Tennyson's attention, you furry idiot!" The pale man shouted angrily as he grabbed Ratz by the throat even tighter. His eyes glowed red with deadly intensity, and Ratz Maher could finally recognize where he saw that man before, "Just bring the girl to me, and make sure she is not dead! If I make a direct move, Ben Tennyson will come for me, and if that happens, then I will come for you! Do we have an understanding?"
The mercenary flinched after his boss let him breathe again but still nodded as much as his refilling lungs could allow him. 'Wait, did Alien V just refer to the Omnimaster's successor as a girl?' Ratz Maher thought. He heard legends about this guy, 'Alien V', as he called himself now, and his rich history with The Hero Of Heroes, but he never thought the man in front of him could give him chills like that, especially in his weakened state.
"As you wi-wish, s-sir, Alien V, sir! W-would you want me to attack this girl right now?"
The man calmed down and handed his employee a rifle that he kept hidden nearby before the arrival of his employee and a picture of the target, "No. Wait until her Omnitrix will time out. This rifle will be your plan B if she transforms after you engage her," The man walked towards the shadows before stopping and giving away his last comment, "Her name is Gwen Stacy. She might be a human and may not have any experience, but she is smart. Don't disappoint me, Ratz, or you will regret it."
Midtown's Science
Gwen had a few minutes to process this revelation before arriving at school. She was suddenly very glad she had her fair share of sleep last night when she arrived at her first class because putting her thoughts about that mutated person aside and focusing on her school assignments was exhausting. Not to mention that she did not have anything to eat until lunchtime.
Other than her exhaustion and hunger, Gwen's day at school went as normal as it could get. She did well in all classes and even got the highest score on an unexpected exam. Thankfully, she remembered telling the teachers that Peter was sick after school and that she wished to deliver his homework.
It was only at the end of the school day when Gwen saw Flash Tomson. She walked towards the guy who hit her... her... -whatever Peter is to her, she will figure it out soon- and possibly gave him that headache yesterday.
"Is Parker okay?" Flash asked with worry in his voice as Gwen approached him angrily.
"Like you care!" Gwen frowned. "What were you thinking?! That he will just heal the next morning or something?!"
"I'm Sorry?" Flash responded in confusion. The last time he checked, the school's nurse said that Parker was fine, so it could not be his fault.
"Peter had a headache after school, and it could have ruined his chances of impressing my boss, not to mention that he missed an exam today and will have to take the make-up exam next week. Where do you think he got it from?!"
"Hey, hold on! He took harder beatings from me and others before, and he was fine! And if he just took the damn picture, I wouldn't have had to punch him!" Flash said in defense against the accusation before countering, "Why would you care anyway? Doesn't he stalk you between classes or something?"
Gwen was quiet. She would have claimed right away that Flash should have never started it by bullying that kid, but his counter hit in a way she could never expect; provoking her reasons for caring for Peter made it harder for her to find the best argument, and the boy in front of her has seemed to notice something.
"Wait..." Flash connected the dots, "Are you and Parker a thing?"
Gwen blushed, but quickly composed herself with a response, "It is out of your business what we are! He better be back in school tomorrow, or I will never help you study ever again!"
Gwen left in anger, leaving Flash feeling guilty about his former friend's well-being. He knew he will have to fix things between them, or else he might fail at school, and that would ruin his dream to have a future in the army.
...
After she made sure that no one saw her and that she had Peter's homework in her bag, Gwen took off her homemade bracelet and put it in her pocket. She pressed the two buttons of her Omnitrix, activating it as she saw the holographic ring spinning and the three-dimensional hologram in the middle switched according to the selected alien transformation.
For a moment, she considered turning into her Piscciss-Volann transformation, Ripjaws, to scare Flash after not admitting that he was being a jerk and a bully, but that would make her even worse than he is. Not only that but doing so would accomplish nothing and just cause her trouble down the line.
She ended up selecting her Lepidopterran form, Stinkfly, as she originally intended, to fly to Peter's home to both save time before work and practice with the transformation. Her flight skills were improved in her second usage of this transformation, but she was smart enough to know she still needs to improve. Maybe she could read about some insects to understand this alien better, or even better, use that Data Terminal feature. It mainly contains trivial information about each transformation, but maybe there is something that could help her in this insectoid form. One would expect the Data Dub feature to make it easier for the young Omnitrix user to use new forms, but for some reason, she could only feel Stinkfly's innate instincts kicking in after nine minutes of her first try. She would have asked Eunice about it, but she was still mad at the holographic woman for what she had done to her at school the other day.
Once she pressed down the squared faceplate, Gwen was consumed by a bright green flash.
The Omnitrix was swallowed into Gwen's wrist as it turned green and her hands morphed and turned black. She grew a stingy tail and a pair of transparent green wings while her two human legs were replaced by four insectoid ones and her two human eyes were replaced by four antennas that grew from the sides of her transformed head. The Omnitrix symbol grew where her human eyes would have been.
Once the light faded, Stinkfly took off to the sky.
Parker resident - Earlier that day
Unlike Gwen, Peter's morning was anything but normal.
He hoped yesterday was all a dream; there was just too much for it to be real. From having that amazing view up Gwen's skirt to asking her out and her agreeing to go out with him and admitting that she always saw him as nearly equal to her in terms of intelligence, then finding out that his parents were killed by his best friend's father, and the whole thing with his spider abilities? Yeah, it must have all been one crazy dream.
And then his alarm clock woke him up.
As soon as the brunette teenager woke up, his reflexes kicked in and made him slam his hand against the mute button of his alarm clock, shattering it into small pieces!
'What the hell was that?!' Peter thought in shock as he looked at his now destroyed alarm clock, 'Did I just do that? NO WAY! I could never be this strong. Yesterday could still be a dream!' He looked around and saw the packages of the food he ate last night thrown inside his garbage can. 'Okay, maybe I just ate all that food and had a... mostly bad dream.' Peter thought, still in denial of yesterday's events, even the nice ones that involved his blonde crush or that black-haired weirdo hottie.
Then, when he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth, a small and diligent squeeze of the toothpaste container broke said container and left a big chunk of the toothpaste on the mirror. Hesitantly, Peter brought his toothbrush to the mirror and brushed off some of the toothpaste onto his toothbrush. He brushed his teeth and was about to wash his mouth, but just as he tried to open the tap, the tap broke as easily as if its joint was made out of wet paper.
Instinctively and panicky, Peter grabbed a towel from the towel rack, but as soon as he pulled it towards him, his stickiness kicked in and he ripped the towel rack off the wall just like the tap did a second prior! Peter tried desperately to fix the tap, but could not let go of the piece in his hand. He ended up turning off the water steam and dropping both the towel and the towel rack in the wet sink, but was still unable to drop the piece of the tap. He just wanted to leave the bathroom and get back to his room, but before he tried to open the door, he realized that it would break too if he was not careful. After opening the door very carefully, Peter entered his room and sat on his bed with one undeniable understanding;
Yesterday's events were all real!
Author notes:
This chapter was originally going to continue way further, but then, I realized that this is an excellent place for it to end... Even though I make some modifications occasionally.
I am sorry it took so long to finish, but I went through some stuff in real life.
If you want to support this story, you can always do it on P-atreon and get early access to the newest chapters before anyone else for just 5$ a month. If you want to support me without any reward other than my recognition, you can do it for 3$. I could use the support since I spend a lot of my free time on this story. I also post now some P-atreon exclusive videos for the established tiers. Every support helps me.
Just like this chapter, you can get early access to the next chapters a few weeks before their official release on this platform. The more people support me, the greater the chance is I will reduce the amount of time the newest chapters can be found exclusively on my P-atreon and release said chapters here.
Anyway, I plan to have the final chapter of this story on my YouTube channel once I will finish the Lizard arc and before I will start writing the sequel. If you want to see it as soon as it comes out, then subscribe to my YouTube Channel and support me on P-atreon.
