Thunderclap is a Thunderbird and Zephyr's pet. He has silver, black, and gold feathers and light blue eyes.
Thunderclap was rescued by Zephyr after he broke his wing in a net.
He is a very intelligent, loyal and affectionate companion, and tends to show his affection by gently nibbling Zephyr's ears or fingers. He also demonstrates that he's fully capable of understanding his master's wishes and faithfully follows his orders, such as when he is instructed to find enemies and alert his master to their presence. Thunderclap is protective of his master, as shown swooping and clawing at enemies pursuing his master.
Thunderclap has a sonic screech, allowing him to destroy small skimmers.
He can also generate and manipulate electricity through his body.
He can withstand nearly all crystal energy blasts, with the exception of ice.
