We're here, and time to go and visit the place where Michelle visited and kinda grew up in, and see the image of someone whom she misses and those she calls family. I wanna say thanks to "Marvelomac1010" for the concept to this chapter and many more to come. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 486: The Lewis Mansion…

(January 21. Double Tree Hilton Hotel. Fresno, California.)

Luna slowly wakes up. She then looks around and she sees that she is not in her bedroom. Instead she is in this fancy hotel room and then she remembers. "Right. I remember now, we're not at home at the moment and this is our five day stay in California…. Well, Fresno California. Well, this sure is something." Luna then sees the other bed has Lincoln asleep.

Luna and Lincoln agreed to share a room while Michelle and Amanda are sharing another room. Luna sits on Lincoln's bed and she watches him sleep. Then he wakes up and sees her. "Oh hey, Luna. Good morning sis."

Luna chuckles and she hugs her brother. "And a good morning to you too Linc." Lincoln smiles and he hugs her back. Luna kisses his forehead, making him chuckle and smile.

Then the door opens and they see Michelle Lewis and Amanda Bright come inside. "Good Morning kids." They go over and hug both Lincoln and Luna.

They then depart from the hug and Michelle then asks. "So how did you two sleep?"

Luna smirks. "We slept good. Sure must be nice sharing the same bed, huh mom?" Lincoln chuckles and this makes Michelle and Amanda blush, since they both slept on the same bed.

But they didn't tell them that when Amanda and Michelle woke up, they were cuddling with each other and it became kinda awkward and yet both women liked it. Michelle then changes the subject. "We should all get dressed and eat breakfast. Uncle Edgar is going to meet with us soon."

They all agree and prepare to get ready for the day and whatever else might happen. They look forward to seeing the place that Michelle Lewis knows and has once resided.

(Later.)

After breakfast and getting changed. The group are now at the lobby and there they see him, Edgar Lewis. He smiles seeing the group. "Hey, there they are. You guys enjoyed the stay here?"

Lincoln and Luna hug the elderly man and then Michelle speaks. "We did and I almost forgot that you have a lot of friends, especially the owner of the place."

Edgar chuckles. "Well, it pays to know folks from back then. Now come on, let's get going." They head out and then see the limo and so they hop in and drive off. "This your first time kids?"

Lincoln and Luna reply. "Not really."

Lincoln then explains. "I have some friends who have limos and I have rode with them on some occasions. Still, this place is almost different from Royal Woods and I can see why the Lewis name is known here."

He can see the large name of Lewis News Print from the building which is tall and far away. Edgar chuckles. "Yeaj. That one is always well noticed by everyone in town and another reason why the family name became bigger. But Michelle may have escalated the name to greater heights."

Michelle chuckles and she knows what he means, since she was a famous singer and worked in Hollywood and now she's well-known as a mother and lawyer, the best there is in Royal Woods Michigan.

Luna then sees a house they are driving by. "Who the heck is that guy?"

They see this man dressed like a pirate, purple pirate clothing and what looks like q wooden puppet parrot on his shoulder and he's using a wheeled row boat on land. Edgar notices him. "No idea. Sometimes Fresno gets some odd folks around. Apparently he's one of them."

Amanda then asks. "Edgar, what of the other Lewis Family Members?"

Edgar explains. "Some of them seem keen to meeting the newest members of the family when I told them that you'd all be coming… But I did notice some of the others weren't sure or rather bot keen to seeing you guys." That concerns them and makes Michelle feel stern.

Michelle feels like this reunion won't go so well and it might turn bad. But her plan is still in motion and will work.

(Lewis Manor.)

They all arrive and they look out the window. Amanda , Lincoln and Luna see the mansion and are baffled by size and appearance. "Holy Dairyland! Now that is one big mansion!"

Michelle chuckles seeing them excited and surprised. "Guys, this is Lewis Mansion and Estate. Owned by my grandfather from long ago, Bernado Lewis." The limo stops and they all come out.

Then Michelle sees someone she knows. "Uncle Bernie." She then hugs the man and he hugs her back. "It's always good to see you again."

"Same here, Michelle." They depart from the hug and Bernie speaks. "I understand why you couldn't be able to attend last year, and I am proud of the choices that you have made."

Michelle then sees her kids come closer. "Uncle Bernie, these are my adopted kids Lincoln and Luna and my girlfriend Amanda Bright."

"And it's so good to meet you all, Old Edgar here has been telling me after he visited last month " replied Bernie.

Edgar chuckles. "Call me that again and I swear I will beat you at arm wrestling… and chess… and soccer… and…."

Michelle and Bernie speak. "We get it. You still got it in you." They all laugh at this.

Bernie then speaks. "Come along everyone. Time to show you around the place. Also, Michelle have you proposed to Amanda yet? I mean, she already looks like your wife."

Lincoln, Luna and Edgar snicker from this. Amanda and Michelle are blushing red and Michelle talks back. "Coming from the guy who wasn't able to marry the woman he loved after five embarrassing dates? Seriously?"

Bernie is about to talk back, but then he realizes. "Touché." They then continue to walk into the mansion with the bodyguard outside and watching over the place.

Lincoln, Luna and Amanda see how big it is on the inside and the many fancy things around here. 'This place looks big and incredible!' Luna does notice some musicians photos from long ago, indicating that the Lewis' were quite talented in music and that explains Michelle and her singing.

Lincoln then speaks. "Guys, if Jordan were here she'd be impressed and think this is something out of the Victorian era."

Luna then speaks. "If Lola were here, she'd never wanna leave and think this is a castle. Look at all of this and…." She sees the stuffed Owl. "Creepy."

"Michelle. This mansion is unbelievable!" replied Amanda. "I'm pretty sure you had some great memories in here. I mean, a little kid going around a large mansion that must have some secret places and…" but she sees Michelle is not walking alongside her. "Michelle?"

The others notice this and they see Michelle is looking at a portrait and they go over and see it is the portrait of Bernado Sr. Her grandfather. Michelle looks sad and she feels kinda upset. "He would've loved to see you kids and Amanda."

Edgar then speaks. "He'd be proud of the choices you made and the good you have done, Michelle."

Bernie then speaks. "He would also would want to spend time with you're kids too and also have a small heart attack and give you a thumbs up."

Michelle chuckles hearing that. She then looks to the portrait again. Lincoln and Luna hold her right hand, while Amanda holds her left hand. This does make Michelle smile and feel alright.

They do notice another portrait of Bernado Sr. with an 8 year old girl next to him and they see that it is Michelle back when she was a kid. But next to her are the parents and this surprises Lincoln and Luna. Lincoln then asks. "Are they your parents?"

Luna then asks. "Our grandparents?"

"I miss them. So much" replied Michelle. "They would've wanted to watch you both grow up and have a bright and amazing future." She has some tears and then she calms down. "But I know that they're still here and…. Watching over all of us. Together." This makes them smile and so Lincoln, Luna and Amanda embrace Michelle and she hugs them back.

Edgar and Bernie are both happy for Michelle and what she has been through and the new life she's had with these kids and this woman whom she loves, and calls Family.

(Later in the day.)

The group leave the mansion and Amanda speaks. "Thanks again for showing us this place and the stories behind it. I never knew Michelle was such an adventurous little spark. Kinda sounds like me from long ago."

Edgar chuckles. "She'd always find a way around the mansion and just explore." He then looks to the kids. "We're grateful to have you here and see where you're mother visited and loved to play."

Bernie then speaks. "We look forward to seeing you guys at the reunion too. It's going to be something and don't worry Michelle, the plan you have is already known by our security team and they'll help enforce it."

Michelle nods. "Thanks guys. We should get going now and prepare for what is to come, the Lewis Family Reunion." They then get into the limo and it drives them back to the hotel.

But unbeknownst to them, far from the mansion and using binoculars are some people and they don't seem happy seeing Michelle and the others. One of them speaks. "When the time comes, then we strike at them."

A/N: they have seen the mansion, and see how much Michelle misses her parents, and grandfather, and this whole trip to California is already showing some signs of trouble. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
