Time to go on a hiking trip and just enjoy the moments of being around nature, but there will be some unexpected trouble in the form of… Well, nature itself but thankfully things will be calm again, and something unexpected will go down as well. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 689: Road Trip: A hiking trip…
We now see the Heavy RV driving down the road, with forests stretching for miles, and inside all the Loud's and Lewis' are just doing their own thing to keep themselves occupied as they head to the next destination.
Lori is relaxing on the recliner, Leni is chatting with Kurt on her phone. Luan is checking on Mr. Coconuts and cleaning him, Lynn and the twins are watching TV, while Lucy and Lisa are reading their books. Lily is just drawing with her crayons, while Lincoln is playing video games, and Luna is just strumming on her guitar.
Rita and Lynnard notice this and feel concerned for the kids, and being indoors and on their stuff not doing much, but then the RV makes a stop and this confuses them. "Huh, I wonder where are we now" replied Luan, and then Amanda parks the heavy RV someplace else.
Michelle then speaks to everyone. "Alright gang, we are here in the amazing Rocky landscapes somewhere in Colorado." They look out the window and see the amazing lake, the mountainous view, and the vast forest. This looks interesting to Lincoln, Luna, Lana and Leni. But then Lola asks.
"Can we stay in here and not do whatever it is you're going to…." But then she sees the stern look from Michelle, Amanda, Rita and Lynnard, and so she remains silent.
Amanda then speaks. "We're going on a ten mile hike in the woods, and to the mountain and enjoy the natural beauty of it all." She then has some gear hidden in the RV. "We also got some stuff which we can use while we're there."
Michelle then continues. "Also, don't try and get out of this. You guys need some outdoors time instead of being cramped into the RV, and don't mention about Otto and his foldable state, he's a droid designed for driving the RV." Luan remains silent, and Lola is about to speak, but the glare from Michelle stops her. "Besides, we did this before at Camp Mastodon, remember?"
Hearing this makes sense to them, and so they head out of the RV, and they each have backpacks with some stuff. Lynnard on the other hand is trying to put on the mountain pack, but then Rita helps him and this makes Lynnard chuckle nervously. "Honey, how the heck did you forget about putting this on?"
Lynnard sighs. "It's been a long while since I used a mountain pack. Sorry." They all head off, and they see Amanda has parked the heavy RV at a safe place, and well hidden from whatever else might come around. But they don't notice the mountain lion that sees them and before the beast can do anything, Pidgeotto tackles the feline away and it runs off.
Pidgeotto then flies back to follow the others, thank goodness the Pokémon are around to help.
(Later.)
The group walk by a river, and we also see Lola sweating and using bug spray, but Lana has Hops and he is enjoying this bug buffet. Lola then asks. "Lana, can Hops sit on my head and eat the bugs?"
Leni takes a photo of everything, and she is amazed. "This is totes better than looking at an image of nature online. So much wonder and… A bee hive." They all back away from it.
Lincoln does take some of the river water into his canteen, and then Lisa looks to the river, and sees the waterfall. "This could lead to a lake, or natural spring. The mountainous lands of Colorado are just full of pure and untouched natural things."
Lynnard then sees something. "Guys berries!" He goes over there, but then Lori blocks his path. "What the? Lori, what are you doing?"
Rita then has a book. "Honey, those are not the right berries. We could get seriously ill." Lynnard is about to protest, but then they see a squirrel eat the berries, and it falls to the ground and looks paralyzed. "See what I mean?" They decide to back off from the berries, but then Lisa takes some for some better uses.
Michelle then speaks. "Remember this guys, when we do reach the top of the mountain, we can use the jackets in the packs, and also we will be camping near the RV tonight, got it gang?" They all agree and like this idea.
Luna does look around and she sighs in relief and takes in the wonders of nature. 'Dang, if Sam were here she would freaking love this place. This is all riddled with nature, and calm vibes. I wonder how my girlfriend is doing, and also where the heck will we head off to after all of this?'
(Later again.)
They all continue their trip, and even have baskets filled with the right berries for them to consume, and Lucy even takes notice to some dead animals around… So, good for her I guess. They then cross the rope bridge and it doesn't seem so bad, and even Lynnard wasn't afraid of crossing the rope bridge. They are close to the top of the mountain, but then Lana stops and listens. "You guys hear that?"
They look around, there's nothing. "Lana, are you sure you're not hearing a bug stuck in your ear again?" asked Rita. Hops checks, and looks to everyone and shakes his head, which means no.
Just then, Servine, Pidgeotto, Swadloon and Metang also sense something, something that is not good. Lincoln takes notice of this. "Guys, something is about to happen and I think they know it too!"
Then something does show up, three very angry mountain goats. This shocks everyone, but then Lynnard speaks in fear. "Nobody do anything, and also no sudden movements!"
Lisa looks to her father. "Did you hear that line from Jurassic Park or something?" Then she has an idea, and she throws some berries and the three goats end up eating them, and then they lay on the ground paralyzed. "It worked, I brought them for the right…." But then the mountain goats get back up angrier than ever. "Hmmm, seems like they're digestive system works faster. This is bad."
Lana then speaks. "Maybe they're not so…" The Mountain Goat then breaks a rock next to it, and the rock shatters. "Never mind, they're aggressive and obviously very territorial!"
Lynn Jr. then has an idea. "Maybe Luna can use music to sooth the beasts?"
Luna looks to her confused and stern. "Why the heck do you think that could work? I don't think soothing music can work on very aggressive and territorial mountain goats!"
Just then the Pokémon get involved, and they can tell that this is going to be a fight. Lucy and Lana have some regrets for letting Banette and Revavroom stay back at the RV. Lincoln, Lana and Amanda know what to do with their Pokémon partners, and the fight is on.
Metang flies fast, but the mountain goat dodges this and continues to avoid Metang. Pidgeotto uses gust, and then Swadloon uses string shot and this snares the head from one of the mountain goats, and it gets tackled by Pidgeotto. Then Servine dodges and uses vine whip onto the third mountain goat, and then razor leaf, but the mountain goat uses its horns to deflect this attack.
This surprises them, but then the mountain goat uses the other goat to shield itself from Metang and thus he tackles the goat. But then the mountain goat spots Lisa since she gave them the berries, and it goes after her, but then Servine grabs the mountain goat with vines and then spins it around and then slams it onto the ground so many times, and then throws the mountain goat into the air and uses solar beam. The mountain goat comes down hard and is dazed, and this surprises the other mountain goats.
Just then, Servine glows and they all look in shock and awe. "She's evolving!" They then see, Servine is gone and doesn't have any hands or legs anymore, but instead looks more like a royal snake. Lincoln is awe struck. "No freaking way, she turned into a Serperior!"
Serperior.
The Regal Pokémon. Grass Type.
It can stop its opponents' movements with just a glare. It takes in solar energy and boosts it internally. They raise their heads to intimidate opponents but only give it their all when fighting a powerful opponent. It only gives its all against strong opponents who are not fazed by the glare from Serperior's noble eyes. It is also known as the Lord of the Forests. Evolved from Servine.
Lincoln is at a loss for words, Lisa and the others snap a photo of this. The mountain goats regain their composure, but then they see Serperior glaring at them, and she is big. This frightens the mountain goats, and they scream like little girls and run away. Serperior then looks to the others and Lincoln goes over and hugs her. "You evolved, and you look so awesome!"
The others are also grateful that it is over, and still surprised that Lincoln's Pokémon evolved, and the other Pokémon interact with Serperior. They know that Revavroom and Banette will be surprised seeing Serperior and not Servine.
Pretty soon, they all reach the top of the mountain and they look around and see just how vast and amazing this land is. Leni and Lori snap some photos of this and also some selfies. Amanda uses her video camera and she records all of this and Michelle and Rita have their photo cameras and take photos of this amazing place.
Amanda chuckles seeing Pidgeotto just gliding because of the winds here, and Lincoln looks to Serperior and pets her head. "You were awesome back there, and thanks for saving us all." Serperior nods and they all continue to enjoy this wonderful view. Luna also stands by them and they take in the amazing view all around them. They all can't wait to tell their friends when they get back home.
Just then, Lynnard looks around and he asks. "Guys, where is the other berry basket I had?" They all look around and are confused. Where the heck did it go?
(Someplace else.)
We now see the bruised, and beaten mountain goats, and they all enjoy the basket of berries that they took from, Lynnard. You have gotta be kidding me?
A/N: This trip almost went south real fast, but thankfully they got backup and Lincoln's Pokémon evolved into something strong, at least they're all fine and alright. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
