Nettle is Satkar's pet therizinosaurus. He has scarlet red and purple feathers and long, thick, black claws.
He is shown to be friendly and curious. He is not above using violence to protect his masters as shown when he saves Satkar from a nightcrawler by scratching and killing it, either slicing its throat or breaking its neck.
