So, as usual this one is about a certain puppet who has been with Luan for a long, long time and how did she get this dummy? But more importantly, who was the previous owner of Mr. Coconuts? This whole thing, is based on the episode, just kinda changed. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 691: Road Trip: Luan's Puppet…
We see the RV driving down the road somewhere on Route 66, and the one driving is Amanda Bright. They're all quite satisfied for the lunch they had earlier. Michelle and the Loud parents notice the kids all look full. "Dang, we really did hit it hard at the All-You-Can Eat Buffet they had" replied Lynnard.
"Perhaps we shouldn't have gone for that one when we were there" replied Rita.
"Are you kidding?" Lynn Jr. closes the fridge and she chuckles. "I feel fine, and also another round of something to eat. That food they had was awesome, and gotta love those barbeque chicken strips they have. What about you guys? The next restaurant?"
Luan sighs. "No thanks, I feel fuller than a Thanksgiving Turkey." She then burps, and this disgusts the others because of the smell. "Wasn't me, it was Mr. Coconuts." She then does her Mr. Coconuts voice. "I just couldn't resist the All-You-Can Eat coleslaw bar." Luan then looks to Mr. Coconuts, but all she sees… Is her hand, and this shocks her and the others notice this as well.
Luan then screams in horror, this causes Amanda to lose control and she stops the RV and looks to the others. "What happened?!"
Luan then yells. "Where's Mr. Coconuts?!" She then lifts the couch, and both Lincoln and Luna are still on it, but the strength does impress Lynn Jr.
Luna then speaks. "Calm down, Luan. Please, chill out. Where was the last time you had him?"
"At the previous diner we went to" replied Luan. "After I ordered the wood fire cooked pizza, and I won't forget the scowling look he gave me too." She then looks to Michelle, Amanda, Rita and Lynnard. "We have to go back and find him, now!"
This concerns them. Rita then speaks. "Luan, that diner is fifty miles back."
"But we have to, please!" yelled Luan with some tears. "I can't leave him alone and let him be lost!"
Amanda feels sympathy for Luan, so she goes to the driver's seat, and she turns on the engine. "Buckle up, it's about to get fast!" This confuses them and they all sit down and put on their seat belts, and then the RV converts the treads into hover turbines and it takes off at great speed.
The RV then shows up at the Greasy Spoon Diner, and then lands and parks. "We're here" replied Amanda. Everyone is shocked at what happened and Amanda sees them. "Oh, right. We forgot to mention this RV is capable of flight."
Lynn Jr. cheers. "Woohoo! Let's do that again!" Luan gets off her seat, she even ripped off the seat belt, and she leaves the RV and heads to the restaurant.
Luan looks around and she yells. "Everyone freeze!" The patrons and staff look to Luan, and the others show up as well. "Has anyone seen a short man made of wood, and with more wood in his punch lines?" Everyone is confused by what she said, and they just ignore Luan and go about their own business.
"I guess we'll have to tear this place apart!" they watch as Luan searches around, but they do see Lynn Jr. is ordering another burger. Lisa looks around and then she sees one of the staff going through the channels, and she sees it is also a security camera screen.
"Everyone, I think I know how we can trace down the whereabouts of Luan's wooden puppet."
They all see this and then Luan asks. "Ma'am, can we see the security tapes from today? It's an emergency!" The waitress then hands Lisa the remote and they all check the cameras. They then see the footage of a shady man wearing a coat and hat loading Mr. Coconuts into his car, and this makes Luan gasp. "No, I didn't lose Mr. Coconuts, he was puppet-napped!"
Lisa then zooms in onto the car. "Hmmm, Dust is a Must is what it says on the sticker of that suspects vehicle." She then checks her cell phone. "Here it is, the slogan belongs to Dusty Springs, a small town just south west from here." They all look to Luan, and she looks scared.
"So, if we find the town of Dusty Spring then we can find Mr. Coconuts!"
Lola groans. "Is this going to be our whole day?"
(Later.)
We are back on the road, well not really the road and now the RV is in hover mode and headed to the Town of Dusty Springs. They then spot the location, and see the state of the town. "Kinda looks like one of those wild west ghost towns" replied Leni. "I learned that from Kurt and his dad."
The RV then slowly lands. They do see the World's 34th largest spring on display. "Well, now we know why there is a Dusty Springs name on it" replied Lynnard and he takes a photo of it. "And judging by the way it looks abandoned, lives to the name Dusty in it. Still, this is far off the beaten path for us."
Luan then speaks. "It's time to spring into action and save Mr. C!" She then heads out, and they're all confused why Luan didn't laugh at the pun she just made.
They all look around, and this abandoned town gives them the creeps, but Lucy likes this. Then Luan hops onto the World's 34th largest spring and she looks around, and then she goes back to the others. "Alright, so here's the plan. We go and knock on every dusty door here, and ask them where he is, if they don't know anything then we look under every dusty rock! We are not gonna stop till we find him." She then hands them all some photos. "Here, these photos from the chuckle condo of me and Mr. C will help with the search." They all just go with it.
Yet, Luna feels like they are being watched. They go around the town and ask some of the folks, but none of them have seen the puppet and they are also surprised to see some folks here in this quiet and almost abandoned town, and for some reason some folks look like the Wild West.
Lisa and Lincoln are both confused. 'Are these folks lost in time or something?' Just then they hear the RV alarm and they spot the same shady man, trying to get into the RV.
"Hey!" they all head to the RV, the shady man dodges the attack from Metang and he escapes and goes behind a building and then he drives off.
"That was him!" yelled Luan. "He has Mr. Coconuts, we have to go after that kidnapper!" They all board the RV, and they race off after this shady man.
(Soon.)
The RV stops and they are in front of an old barn, an abandoned barn not too far from the town, they have the Pokémon block any exit around the barn. "We have him cornered!" yelled Luan, and she kicks the barn door open.
They then see all the puppet and wood work stuff. "Guys, from a Creep-scale of one to ten, I give this place a nine." All of this creeps them out, but Luan looks persistent and not willing to let this hinder her search for her missing puppet. They walk around and yet it is creepy here.
Just then they see some puppets move. "This is starting to remind me of something" replied Lincoln, and they see all the puppets look like they are coming to life. "Yup, this reminds me of that creepy puppet doll movie where the old lady's ghost haunts all the dolls and there is no happy ending!"
Lucy looks to Lincoln. "I would wish to see that movie that you watched."
Then the same shady man closes the barn doors and locks them. "Sorry, but I can't stay around and do an act. Gotta split!" He does make it to his car, and drive off. The Pokémon break the barn doors, and even knock away these puppets, and they that they are attached to this machine to make them move.
They all get to the RV, and they drive off after this man. Amanda picks up the speed, and she sees the blue car in front of her. Luan yells. "We have to stop him, or we're not going to see Mr. Coconuts again!" Amanda then has an idea. She sees the buttons and the different stuff she can use. She pushes one and it fires a net onto the top of the blue car, and then Pidgeotto comes down and pulls on the net, slowing it down a little.
Amanda then signals Pidgeotto to fly off, and he does. "Time to shock this suspect down!" She pushes another button, and a shock round is fired and sticks to the back of the car and sends volts of electricity into the engine and the blue car hits a big rock.
The shady man comes out, and looks a little dazed. "You'll never catch me!" He then races off with Mr. Coconuts. But then he trips over this spring sticking out of the ground. "Dang it, curse these dusty springs coming out from this town of Dusty Springs."
Luan then goes over and she picks up Mr. Coconuts and hugs him. Everyone else is relieved that it is now over. Luan looks to the shady man sternly. "It is over Puppet-napper!"
The shady man gets up and speaks. "What are you talking about? Also, stop calling me that. How could I even puppet-nap him, when I am…." He then takes off his jacket and hat. "His father." They see this elderly man, who legit looks like Mr. Coconuts, and this surprises and freaks them out. "My name is Calvin, Calvin Coconuts."
This makes them gasp, Lola feels like barfing since she's had to deal with sometimes hearing Mr. Coconuts talk on his own. Luna on the other hand… She looks disturbed. "Guys, I think I had a nightmare about this once. Only, the nightmare made him fifteen feet taller."
Luan is confused. "I just… I don't understand. What?"
Calvin then explains. "Years ago, I Calvin Coconuts am one of the most well-known and the best puppet maker, and so I made Calvin Jr. to look like the most handsome man I know, me." This has them confused, and Lola feels like barfing again. "Soon, we began to tour the country as the perfect father and son puppet banjo act. It was the perfect life, until fate brought us to Royal Woods."
"We were doing our usual thing and everyone loved us, but then this bird showed up and took away Calvin Jr. I tried to go after him, but I tripped and I lost sight of the bird. I never thought I'd see him again, until earlier this morning I saw him, and something inside of me kicked in and I just couldn't bear to lose him again. So, I did what I had to do." He then wipes away his tears and blows his nose.
Luan then realizes this. "Wait, I remember now! Mr. Coconuts landed in front of me, after a bird carrying him hit Lori's kite! If it wasn't for Lori's kite, then I wouldn't have met the best dang friend in my life!"
They all look to Lori confused, shocked and some annoyed, Lola the most since she's had to deal with Luan and her puppet for so long, and now Luna knows where this dummy came from. Even Lori is surprised about this and now she remembers. 'Oh my literal god.'
Luan now sees the truth. "So, all of this means that Mr. Coconuts was never really mine." She then looks to the puppet and she sighs and speaks. "Calvin, I think Mr. Coconuts should stay with you." This surprises the others, they didn't think Luan would do this.
Lynn Sr. then asks. "Luan, are you sure about this?"
Luan nods and has some tears. "Yes, I have to do the right thing. This is… For the best." She then hands Mr. Coconuts to Calvin, and he kisses his puppet/son. Luan then speaks. "Uh, before I go. Here's his favorite whoopee cushion, and his toothbrush and also his travel suitcase." This surprises Calvin that Luan did all of this for Mr. Coconuts.
Luan then walks away, but she does look back. "Always good looking at you toots." She then heads off with the others back to the RV, and yet they feel kinda bad for Luan, she's had that dummy with her for a long time since she was a little girl.
They all go into the RV, and Luan sighs. "Well, there he goes. I did the right thing, and…. Mr. Coconuts deserves to be with his father." The others are still not making sense of that part.
"Are least you did the right thing" replied Rita.
"Yeah" replied Luan. "Though, I am gonna miss the good times we had together, and his jokes and all the amazing routines we pulled off from every event and free time we have, and I also have to tell Benny and his dummy Ms. Appleblossom about this…"
"Hey!" They see Mr. Coconuts on the table. "What about my impressive charms?" Then they see Calvin who has Mr. Coconuts sitting on the chair.
This surprises them, but it is confusing and disturbing for Michelle, Amanda, Rita and Lynnard. "How the heck did you get in here and when did you even get in here?"
Calvin then shows Luan the photo. "You left this behind and after hearing about everything you and Mr. Coconuts have been through, it looks like you both have a good thing going. I think Calvin Jr. should stay with you." This surprises them, though Lola doesn't seem amused.
Luan is at a loss for words. "Really? You mean it?"
Calvin nods. "Absolutely. You see, I'm retired from the gig and can't do what I have been doing for some time, but you two are just getting started and going through one heck of a good gig run. I trust you to showing the whole world my boy's amazing talents, or at least Greater Michigan." He then hands Mr. Coconuts to Luan, and this makes Luan have tears of joy.
"Thank you Calvin!" cheered Luan. "Heck, you can come by and see me and Mr. Coconuts in action, and also bring those marionettes as well; they would help make an amazing comedy gig, or a big stage show of musical funny stuff!"
Calvin liked this idea. "Then it's a dang Coconuts of a deal!" The others are kinda mixed feelings about the whole idea. Then Calvin has his banjo. "How about a banjo duo before we hit the hay?"
Mr. Coconuts is handed his banjo. "It's Coconuts of a deal, papa!" They then start playing the banjo. The others are still confused, and a little bit surprised to hear this. Lincoln knows that Liam might like this if Calvin, and Luan and Mr. Coconuts are on stage, with banjos. Luna on the other hand, is a little freaked out.
But Lola, she groans and looks annoyed. "Please tell me this is not gonna be our whole night."
A/N: There we go, based off from the episode "A Doll Day Afternoon" changed a bit, and yet added all that there was to it, and glad that Mr. Coconuts is back with Luan and… Oh what the hell? What am I even saying? I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
