Vienne is a Dard and Kato's pet. He has orange scales, reddish brown mane, yellow eyes, and black stripes.
At first, due to his odd appearance, Vienne seemed blunt and apathetic, not really caring what happens. After a realization that his friends are in danger, Vienne is quick to go from lazy and cute to fierce and deadly; and vice versa. He is helpful to Kato, who describes him as a "calming presence".
Though not venomous, Vienne has sharp fangs and teeth that bite through armor.
He also has a spine-tingling hiss.
Trivia:
Vienne's name means river stream, a reference to the dard's love for water.
