Hornsly is a horned serpent and Kodiak's pet. He has pale green and yellow skin and orange eyes.
Hornsly is rescued from a fighting arena by Kodiak.
Hornsly is very aggressive but tends to only be aggressive towards the other Skyhawks; hissing and snapping at Thea when she tries petting him. This aggression may not be directed towards Thea directly, as he was simply unfortunate enough to be captured and mistreated by humans. Overtime, Hornsly began warming up to the human members of the team as seen giving Zephyr a sympathetic look when Webster dies.
Hornsly is very fast, nimble, and agile.
