Six months have passed the Duel Battlers tournament was held, and the ambitions of the Black Ace organization has been brought an end. Yukina won the tournament and defeated Raika with her also avenging her father. Ever since that day, life was returning to normal for Yukina and her friends. Not to mention the duelists that dueled for the Black Ace has broke away from them. However, their adventures aren't over just yet.

"I'm finally here." A young man said as he was leaving the airport. He had black hair with white highlights with him wearing a green top with a white hood with white shorts. He looked up at the open sky filled with limitless possibilities for him. "Watch out, Yukina Osama. I've got my sight set on you!"

...

Lustrous City

"Achoo!" Yukina sneezed with that coming out of nowhere.

"You okay, Yukina? You're not getting sick are you?" Cindy asked.

"No. I feel perfectly fine." Yukina said as she just simply relaxed by the water like she usually did.

"They say that when you sneeze, it means that someone is talking about you." Cindy teased.

"Come on. You don't really believe that, do you?" Yukina said as she just laughed it off and not knowing that it was true. Yukina just simply leaned back and stared up at the sky as well, but it's only because she's been enjoying the peace and quiet. "Can you believe it's already been since six months since we defeated the Black Ace?"

"I know." Cindy said. "Ever since the tournament ended, everyone thinks you're one of the best duelists around. Cray, Kent, and the others are all working as hard as they can to try to catch your level. Honestly, I'm just glad we don't have to deal with it anymore."

"Well, I wouldn't go that far." Yukina claimed as she thought differently. "Diego was never caught. He's still out there, as is Raika, and he still has that card with him. After the tournament, those two seem to have disappeared. They could be anywhere, and they could be back."

"And you'll just beat them like you did before." Cindy said as she was fully confident in Yukina, but Yukina knows what those two can be like.

...

The WDA

The WDA, which stands for the Worldwide Duel Affiliation, is one of the biggest dueling organizations across the whole world. It's had a hand in many of the tournaments and products for duelists all over the world. At the very top of this highly valued organization was one man that looked over everything in the dueling world. At the moment, he seemed very interested in Yukina and her friends. He was looking over a file on each one of them. Standing with him was Sabaro Brilliant, a former member of the Black Ace that was actually a spy for the WDA.

"Trust me, sir. Yukina and her friends are right for the job." Sabaro claimed.

"I have no doubt about that." His boss claimed. "After seeing what happened in Duel Battlers, I believe she and her friends have what it takes." He turned in his chair into a map he had of the whole world. "I thought this was behind us after what happened in Duel Battlers, but I was wrong. With what's to come, this provides us an ideal opportunity."

"But as this how going to work?" Sabaro questioned. "With you being the director of the WDA, you wouldn't be able to give them the clearance they need."

"I know, but we still have some time." The director claimed. "We need Yukina and her friends in this." What could be going on that the guy who runs the most successful dueling-based organization needs Yukina and her friends to help him out?

...

Duel Park

Meanwhile, the dueling fun was going on in Lustrous City happening right in Duel Park. Duel Park was a fun place for duelists. They can hone their skills, play some fun duel games, and have their own matches. In fact, there was a duel going on right now with Felix being in it.

"This duel between Cathy and Felix seems to be coming to a close." The MC announced as he always gave the play-by-play. "Is Felix going to end the duel right here?"

"I'm afraid that I am." Felix said. "You put a good effort, Cathy, but I'm afraid it's not good enough. Gladiator Beast Spartacus, attack and end this!" He had his monster attack and it did the final blow that defeated his opponent.

"It's over! Felix wins and beats Cathy!" MC announced with him gaining a few points.

"Aw man!" Cathy cried. "I thought I could impress Felix and he might go on a date with me!"

"Sorry, Cathy. No disrespect, but you'll have to do a lot better than that for something like that." Felix claimed.

"Yeah! Way to go, Felix!" Kent called from the stands. "Cathy, see me later to help improve your dueling!" Kent might have been trying to be supportive, but he's just acting annoying. After the duel was over, Felix and Kent met up just outside the building.

"You are so lucky they didn't throw you out for being disruptive." Felix said.

"Disruptive?! I was trying to be supportive for both sides." Kent claimed.

"I suppose it's better than the alternative." Felix said. Seeing as how Kent was once a bully that liked to gang up on small duelists, it's nice to see that he's acting more supportive to others than menacing. "By the way, where's Cray?"

"Where do you think? He's off training so that he can defeat Yukina." Kent said.

"That again?" Felix said with annoyance.

"What's that suppose to mean? Are you saying that Cray is wasting his time and will never beat Yukina?! He will! Just wait!" Kent claimed as he's always been Cray's biggest fan and supporter.

"No. I'm just saying that Cray's getting a little obsessive when it comes to defeating Yukina." Felix said. "So he lost a few times against her... He doesn't have to make a big deal about it. It's fine to be competitive, but he tends to overdo it."

"Just you wait!" Kent called. "Cray is going to be stronger than ever and is going to defeat Yukina one day! It's all because he's the best! In fact, he could even win that!" Kent pointed to a poster about an upcoming tournament.

"The Worldwide Supreme Tournament." Felix said. "A tournament that's going to be held all across the world that will help determine who are some of the best duelists there is."

"Man, I would love to get in that tournament." Kent said. "It's not fair! Why isn't there some qualifying tournament or anything that could help us get in?! What do we have to do?!" He literally cried.

"It's a grand tournament, probably the biggest in the whole world. It's probably not easy to get in." Felix claimed. "Besides, you can't enter solo. You've got to be part of a team."

"I know, but it's still not fair." Kent moped about.

"What's Kent crying about now?" That was when Yukina and Cindy showed up.

"Oh, he's just being hysterical and eccentric, as usual." Felix said. "By the way, Yukina, you remembered to restock the shelves back at my family store, right?"

"Yes, Felix." Yukina groaned.

"I get working at a store isn't all that fun for you, but it is payment for letting you crash at my place." Felix reminded.

"Oh yeah... Yukina's been staying at your place these past months." Kent teased with him implying Felix and Yukina are lovey-dovey. "You two have been getting cozy with each other? A guy and a girl living together is usually..." Felix didn't let him finish that as he actually whacked his fist in Kent's face with annoyance. "Aw! That was just mean! You could have broke my nose!"

"So shut up." Felix moaned.

"Felix is just nice enough to let me crash at his place, Kent. That's all that's really going on." Yukina said.

"And I'm glad you stuck around." Cindy said. "Things have gotten a lot better around here ever since you showed up."

"Speaking of which, how are Taiyo and Hana? Have you heard from either of them?" Felix asked.

"I have from Hana. Decker Village is doing fine." Yukina said. "As for Taiyo, I'm not sure where he is or what he's been up to. I guess he's still a little worried since Raika is still out there with Life Destroyer."

"That's nuts. We put the Black Ace out of commission." Kent said like there was nothing to worry about. "I think they're long gone and we don't have to worry about them anymore." That's what most believed, but Yukina wasn't so sure about that.

"I don't know..." Yukina claimed. "A part of me thinks I should be out there myself, trying to find Raika. Even though I avenged my father, it's dangerous that card is still out there. Even Hoiko is worried knowing that card is still free."

"But do you think Raika would even attempt to use it again after what happened?" Felix questioned as he remembered it well. Raika was being taken over by the darkness. He was losing himself and came close to destroying so much.

"It's more likely he's trying to make himself stronger so he doesn't lose control again." Yukina said. "Not to mention there's still Diego. He's still out there himself. That guy is a threat in his own way. He might have been quiet lately, but I'm sure he's ready to make some noise any moment now."

"You guys are overthinking this." Kent claimed. "They lost, we won, and it's as simple as that. It's been months since they've made any reappearances. I think those guys are far behind us now."

"Even if they do reappear, we can take them just like we did before. You managed to beat Raika back in Duel Battlers, and you've been getting stronger yourself." Cindy said. "Maybe Kent has the right idea. Maybe there's really nothing to worry about."

"Yeah. I guess you're right." Yukina said. Looking to the past like this and worried what might happen isn't really helping anything. It's best to try and look for a future that's good.

"Now, let's... Huh? What's that?" Felix questioned. He spotted something heading their way, and it was coming in fast.

"There you are! I found you, Yukina Osama!" Someone was charging right at them and it seemed like he wasn't going to stop. He had his eyes right on Yukina and didn't stop until just before reaching the ground. It ended up revealing that it was the same guy from the airport.

"What the heck?" Yukina questioned as they all wondered what the heck this was about.

"I finally found you, Yukina Osama. Thought you could hide from me, but I knew I would find you here." The guy claimed.

"Who's hiding?" Yukina questioned.

"Surely you heard I was coming, so you were trying to hide away where I wouldn't find you in this big city, but I knew you were a prideful duelist. Finding you here was obvious. Thought I wouldn't figure it out or find it, but I did." The guy claimed.

"This guy sure likes to run his mouth." Felix said.

"I think he's confused." Kent said.

"Yukina, do you know him?" Cindy questioned.

"Nope. I think there's some sort of mix up." Yukina claimed. "I don't even know who you are."

"My name is Marcus Zimmer. I came all the way from Steel City in America to challenge you, Yukina." He claimed as it sounds like he wants to duel Yukina. It sounds like he's a duelist himself and is looking for a duel. "I'm going to defeat you and prove to everyone what a fraud you really are." Yukina a fraud? Is this guy just confused or is there something else going on? Seems like this is the start of something brand new for Yukina and her friends as the times seem to be changing. They might not be dealing with the Black Ace anymore, but now they have this guy to deal with.
