A/N: This was supposed to be uploaded a long time ago but it turns out I was suffering a Mandela Effect with Kim here. Will here's a better look at the Kabuki Samurai.

Character Questions: Shio Kimura

Full name: Shio Kimura or Sannosuke Kimura (After she and Amaterasu get married)

Nickname: Kim (preferred nickname), The Kabuki Samurai (a name she came up with on the spot after crippling and nearly killing Shang Tsung), Aunt Kim (by Ted, Ruby, and Randy), Kimmy (by Amaterasu)

Occupation: Demon Slayer, Kabuki Actress, Maddox Family Babysitter, Model, Special Forces Ambassador, Co-Founder of Maddonosuke Fashion with Mai

Appearance: Dark green hair that's either fashioned into a high ponytail straight or braided, a low braided ponytail, or in the case of the time skip where she cuts most of her hair so it goes barely past her neck, a mid-level ponytail all tied together with a white piece of cloth. Sometimes, fashions into a bow. Her skin is fair and paler due to her Chinese blood and brown eyes. Refusing to wear makeup, Kim is a perfect example of natural beauty. Rarely dons makeup of any kind, only when performing as a Kabuki Actress.

Age: 150 when we met her, 177 after the time skip.

Mannerisms: Generally positive and wise-cracking. Always has something witty to say. Thanks to her blessings by Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, it's almost impossible to get inebriated, so she often drinks Sake like water. Often a joy to be around, her new friends can vouch for that, except the Kombat Kids (they find her attitude in tandem with her superior... everything annoying and anger-inducing)

What does he/she wear?: A loose kimono in a faded navy blue, a dark gray cloud covering a crescent moon with a crashing wave underneath. The kimono failed to hide her modest chest, with white wraps covering her torso. There were design intricacies around her waist and wrists, the edges dark blue, yellow, and red like the inside. Her hands had white guards, but the kimono hid them well. She also wore a black necklace with a skull held together with red rope. She also wore a two-pronged geta.

Her main outfit during Arc IV is as follows. She now wears a faded navy blue Haori Jacket over her taped breasts. Her bare legs now have a matching Hakama with boot heels similar to Mai's. Her white arm guards are now easier to see, with her hair tied higher while slightly braided. Her bow is a thick cloth that keeps her braided ponytail together. A few bangs are loose, some landing in front of her forehead. Her Haori Jacket is left open, showing Kim's six-pack and Sake gourd hanging on her right hip. Her Laundry Pole is slung on her back. Any other outfit she wears is a product of her cooperation with Mai in their fashion line, Maddonosuke Fashion. Regardless of what she wears, you can always find the Kanji for Joy (悦) on her outfits, the trademark for the woman.

Favorite color: Navy Blue

What is he/she good at?: Being taught by her father, Kim's a master swordswoman too where Xan himself said that she's better at his style than him, including the incorporation of the Hirazuki a technique that he, in this continuity, would invent. She's also a renowned Demon Slayer thanks to her father's teachings. When she rejoined society at age 100, she quickly learned the art of Kabuki Theater, becoming the female lead's understudy in short order. She is well-respected, though she only models for her and Mai's clothes. And finally, her optimistic attitude makes her job as Special Forces Ambassador easy.

What is he/she bad at?: Kim's attitude can be annoying to friends and foes alike. Even though she can back up the trash she talks, she can be pretty lost without those she cares for.

What does he/she want?: To make her dad proud.

What is his/her goal?: To not be left alone in any capacity.

What lie does he/she believe?: That her specific circumstances in terms of the life she lived means that companionship is eternally out of the question.

What flaw results from the lie?: She doesn't pick up on romantic advancements well, if at all.

What truth does he/she learn?: Despite her upbringing, she's deserving of companionship. Even if it comes from a literal deity.

What is his/her background?

The daughter of the standoffish, anti-social, generally depressed Edgemaster, Shio Kimura is a woman of surprises. Instead of being standoffish, Kim's friendly; instead of anti-social. Loves being in public instead of being depressed. She's joyous and happy. The literal polar opposite of her old man. But that shouldn't be taken for weakness of any sort. Shio Kimura is a renowned swordswoman and Demon Slayer in her own right. Her father believes she's better at both than he is.

Kim was adopted by Xan at a year old much like he was. Using her as an outlet to keep himself busy and find another reason to stay alive, Xan took to being a father well. He had help, of course, but it was just them as she grew up. Until one day, her life changed forever. At three, Kim was abducted by a group of Tengu as Xan had been mass murdering the others that lived in their resident forest. The place was demon-infested when he first moved in, but by the time he adopted Kim, the place was almost completely rid of them. The Tengu thought they could exchange Kim's life for his, but the plan failed spectacularly. They felt the wrath of an incensed Xan who slaughtered them for taking the sole light in his life. The next day, Kim would ask her dad if she could learn everything she saw him do and would continue until she turned five when he finally relented. The next 95 years were spent honing her skill to the closest one can get to perfection.

Kim then left her father's care and ventured into the public world, where she quickly joined a theater troupe. After short stints of investigation, she learned that the leader of the troupe was an ogre in disguise. After killing him and staying with the troupe, she returned to visit her father and joined him in defending Earth against Shao Kahn, becoming a key reason why his invasion was halted and stopped.

Soon after, Kim expanded her horizons since she was no longer needed as a Demon Slayer, going into Special Forces at first as a Lieutenant before asking for a position change because of the Kombat Kids' behavior. (Especially Cassie and Jacqui's antics in Outworld) It was granted and she became the Ambassador of Special Forces. At the same time, she and Mai started a Fashion Line named after their last names, Maddox and Sannosuke. But wait, Kim's last name is Shio.

Not anymore. After marrying the literal Sun Goddess and leader of the Japanese Divine Pantheon, Amaterasu, Kim changed her name to Sannosuke. The last name Amaterasu took up to blend in with society. She models the Maddonnosuke Fashion clothes that ranged from urban wear to dresses, kimonos, and everything else in between. It's a beautiful partnership. Mai does the sewing and Kim does the showing.

Nowadays, you can find Kim anywhere. From Earth to Edenia to visit her father, spend time with her wife, or defend the Realms of Light from evil's clutches. All with a Laundry Pole, some Sake, and a competitive smirk.

Is life not dull for Kim being married?

Absolutely not. Having the Goddess of the Sun who is also the leader of the Japanese Pantheon of Deities makes for an interesting marriage, to say the least. The two often brag to their friends that they married each other. It's hilarious and adorable, considering who they are.

Do the Kombat Kids even respect Kim?

Most of them do save for Cassie who Kim openly dislikes personally and professionally. Cassie has been openly racist to her many times. Kim has bitten her tongue out of respect for Sonya and fear of demotion despite being a part-timer. One day, she had enough and engaged Cassie in a one-sided fistfight, which ended up with Cass getting several dark bruises and a bloody nose. After the incident, Kim immediately requested a position transfer, citing Cassie as borderline impossible to work with. Callie obliged and gave her the Ambassador position, something Kim excels in. Jin respects Kim the most out of the group as they bonded over their guardian figures being respective legends of their own. They know about keeping up the prestige of their family names. Takeda respects Kim but also is awestruck by her natural beauty and has considered cheating on Jacqui. If only Kim wasn't married and wasn't blessed by a fertility goddess, so she knows his true intentions. That makes her relationship with Jacqui contentious at best. (AD: Very interesting information here)

What new challenges await Kim?

Thanks to gaining her patron goddess' soul, Kim now has to learn her new powers coming in. We already saw what her new soul and creativity can do as she was the one to kill Reiko in three Laundry Pole swings. More importantly, she has to now mingle with deities more often thanks to her wife being one. Meeting Nox and eventually meeting her mother in law being two examples.
