The Worldwide Supreme Tournament has finally come to an end, and the winners of the tournament were none other than Team Mystic. They are now considered the best team in the world for winning the biggest dueling tournament in the world. Therefor, one must be able to celebrate such an accomplishment.
"How is it going, everybody?! I'm sure you all missed me!" M.C. announced. The M.C. that Yukina and her friends have all come to known. "It is a great pleasure to be here because no one else deserves this honor than me. That's only because I know the winners personally. It is with great honor that I give to you the winners of the Worldwide Supreme Tournament: Team Mystic!" He introduced the team with all of them coming out. Cindy, Marcus, and Yukina stepped out on the stage to welcome their crowd.
"Here we are!" Yukina said as she was ready to bask in the fandom.
"We're the new number one duelists!" Marcus said as he wanted some of it himself.
"Uh... Open your eyes." Cindy said. Yukina and Marcus took a look. It was all designed to be a party, but the only ones there were Justin and Sabaro.
"Hey! What gives?!" Yukina said. "What's with the low turnout?! This is suppose to be a party!"
"Yeah! Where are all the important people here to make sweet deals?!" Marcus said. "Not to mention all the big dueling teams and pros who want to know more about us?!"
"I certainly didn't expect to so few of us." Justin said as he walked forward to the stage. "Never the less, you all should be proud of yourselves. As the head of the WDA, it is with great pleasure that I reward your team with the trophy of the World Wide Supreme Tournament." He claimed as he fulfilled his obligation and rewarded them a trophy that looked just like a globe with a card on it. There might be no one to celebrate, but they still got rewarded for the trophy.
"Thank you, Justin." Yukina said. "You know what, forget the party. We still won the biggest dueling tournament there ever was. We should be proud of ourselves."
"Besides, you don't need a party when you've got us." They all took a look and saw Team Fanrong did attend the party.
"That's right. We're the life of the party." Muyoshi said.
"And we are here to celebrate the victory of our friends." Jaw-Long said.
"And we want to do that in a fun way. Some customs do this in act of celebrating athletic wins. Normally this is done with barrels of water, but this way is much more enjoyable." Li-Jing said. All four of them suddenly took our water guns and started shooting water at all three of them.
"So it's like that, is it?!" Yukina said.
"Boring fancy parties aren't my thing. Let's have fun! Attack!" Marcus called as all three of them charged in and had a water fight instead of a card fight.
"Unbelievable. This was suppose to be a celebration for the win, but they turned this into some sort of child's party." Sabaro said as he thought they were all acting rather immature.
"Let them be. They're happy with the win, and they should be free to celebrate how they like." Justin said. "They're young, so they should be enjoying their youth." Everyone was really enjoying themselves, but then something interrupted all the fun. They all looked and saw a chopper heading their way. "What's this? That's not one of ours."
"Did someone request an air show?" Marcus questioned. They all wondered what this could be until it landed down and wrecked their party. The building wasn't designed for a helicopter landing, but that didn't stop them. The ones to come out was Diego himself.
"Diego?! What are you doing here?!" Yukina said.
"We're just fashionably late." Diego said as Team Void exited the chopper.
"Team Void?" Yukina said. They weren't the only ones. Team Rodrigo came out as well.
"The Rodrigos?" Marcus questioned. The last one to come out was Arthur...without his team.
"Arthur? What's going on? What are they all doing together?" Cindy questioned.
"This is great! The top four teams of the Worldwide Supreme Tournament are all here together to celebrate Team Mystic's win!" M.C. announced.
"Get real. We don't care that they won. Heck, these wimps were lucky and nothing more." Aaron claimed.
"Besides. We're here on business." Alonzo said. Them doing business can't be good for a lot of people. That's why Selena snatched the camera and had it pointed at Diego as he took center stage.
"First, out of mere decency, congrats to your win. Now that you've had your fifteen minutes of fame, it's time we move on to the main event. This little party of yours means absolutely nothing." Diego said. "The truth of the matter is that I never really had any intention of winning the Worldwide Supreme Tournament. It didn't really matter to me whether the team I sponsored won or lost."
"Say what? It didn't matter?!" Yukina said.
"That's nuts! You've got some nerve! We all fought hard in that tournament, and you're saying you don't even care?!" Marcus said.
"That's right. Although, it did provide me the data and info I needed to fully utilize the power of the Malicious Fiends, as well as finding the ones I didn't have." Diego said. "In fact, I have you and your friends to thank, Yukina. You've provided me excellent information that I needed, as well as the fact of helping me find those who had the Malicious Fiends. You were a big help."
"What?! We helped you?!" Yukina said as that thought made her sick.
"So we were right all along. You were after the six Malicious Fiends, and were trying to find those who could wield their power!" Sabaro said.
"That's right. I now have the one that young Arthur Lance has, as well as the one the Rodrigos here possess. That's adding to the ones that Team Void here were holding." Diego said. "For those who don't know, the six Malicious Fiends are six cards. As some of you might be aware of, dueling produces a strong and powerful energy that might be limitless. The origins of the cards we use trace back to years, maybe even centuries, and who knows how much further. Of course, the power of these cards all depends on the duelist and if they are capable of bringing that power out. In fact, when Duel Monsters was first created, the origins trace back to an ancient time, say like in Egypt, where people controlled these monsters through mystic arts. From there, it became more diverse and tied to ancient powers found all around the world. The six Malicious Fiends aren't that much different, but they are capable of producing a stronger and darker power than most can. They were cards forged in pure darkness, but the fools of this world let those powers go to waste by sealing them away."
"It wasn't a waste! Those cards are dangerous! They threaten our very way of life!" Yukina said. "A lot of people back home saw what Life Destroyer was capable of, and that was just from one of those things!"
"Yes... The dark power from Life Destroyer was truly a spectacle, so imagine what would happen if all six of them were together." Diego said. "Well, you don't have to wait very long to find out."
"What do you mean?" Justin said.
"As stated, there are six of those cards. Four of them are in the hands of the duelists that came with me, and Raika holds the fifth: Life Destroyer." Diego said. "That just leaves one unaccounted for, but I already have it."
"You already found it?!" Yukina said as they were all shocked to hear that Diego already has the last Malicious Fiend.
"Yes! The most powerful of them all!" Diego said as it was shown on a screen. "Malicious Fiend: The Void!"
"The Void?!" Justin said as they couldn't believe. "Is that where Team Void got their name?"
"In a matter of speaking, I suppose so." Diego said. "Of course, I need someone quite powerful to wield such a powerful card, and it only makes sense that I would want that someone to be one my side. Luckily, I found someone who is capable. May I present to you...Persephone!" He introduced a new duelist. A young lady with long silver hair and dark skin with her wearing a white jacket that had silver pads on her elbows and shoulders with black heeled shoes and pants with were wearing a burgundy top underneath.
"Persephone? Who is she?" Snyder questioned. He wondered about that until he saw her face and instantly recognized her. "That's Dana!"
"Dana?!" Marcus said as he could see it himself.
"Diego, what is the meaning of this?! What did you do to Dana?!" Snyder said.
"What do you mean? This is what you wanted." Diego said. "I kept my end of the bargain and cured Dana of her illness. I provided all that was needed and she's all better now. I just simply made a few "modifications" to her personality."
"You did what?!" Snyder said as he couldn't believe it. Does that mean that isn't the Dana he knows?
"Now, show them the power of the sixth Malicious Fiend!" Diego called. Persephone took her place in a chamber with a stand for her taking going up to the wall. Then, she played The Void. When that happened, a creature made of pure darkness appeared. It was like a piece of space formed this creature with it having glowing red eyes and a mouth.
"What is that thing?!" Yukina said as they were actually staring into a living empty pit of darkness. It didn't stop there. That thing unleashed it's dark power all through the room and it was released from the Black Ace's headquarters. A pillar of dark light shot straight into the sky and cleared away all the clouds in the area. It was like power from the pits of darkness itself was rising out of the ground and the sky itself turned dark. Never has any of them seen a card perform such power.
"Beautiful, is it not?" Diego said. "It's hard to believe all that kind of power is trapped in a mere card."
"Beautiful? You call something like that beautiful?!" Yukina said. "You really are messed up in the head!"
"This is only a small sample of what these cards are capable of, and I will soon have them all." Diego said. "I now hold five of the six Malicious Fiends. There is only one more that I need to get my hands on. After that, I will have the power of all six Malicious Fiends."
"Raika?! You want Raika back!" Yukina said.
"No. I want Life Destroyer." Diego said. "It's true that I am the one responsible for Raika having Life Destroyer, but I plan to obtain it and give it to someone who will be more loyal."
"You're nuts!" Sabaro said.
"Diego, you're dealing with forces humans barely understand!" Justin claimed. "You just displayed how dangerous this kind of power is!"
"You say dangerous, I say power that is just going to waste." Diego said.
"And just what do you plan to do with all of this power? Why are you trying to gather the six Malicious Fiends together?" Justin said.
"To be used as a mere message." Diego said. "You will either submit to our ways or you will be destroyed."
"So that's it?! Mere world domination?! Those cards have the potential to throw the entire world in darkness!" Yukina called.
"This is just like what happened with Duel Battlers!" Cindy said. "You attempted to use the dark power of Life Destroyer to ruin so many lives. You're willing to do anything to obtain your goals. The duelists that work for you are making a big mistake because you'll just dispose of them once they lose or you no longer need them. After all, you did sent your own duelists to their demise to feed Life Destroyer's power before."
"He did that to his own men?" Yuxuan said.
"He really is a monster." Li-Jing claimed.
"Well, I said my piece. You've all seen for yourselves the power we hold, or at least a small demonstration of it. They're capable of so much more." Diego said. "I happy to display to the rest of the world for those who wish to challenge us. Until then, I wouldn't get comfortable with bright sunny skies." He claimed and was about to leave.
"Hold it!" Yukina called. "What makes you think we're just going to let you walkaway?! You can't do this, Diego?! Don't you even care a little bit about this is going to affect our world?"
"And what did you do to Dana?! Dana would never agree to be apart of this!" Marcus said. "You turn her back so that's just the way she should be!"
"Please... I don't have to answer to the likes of you children. You all live in fantasies and can't simply accept the reality of life." Diego said.
"What did you say?" Yukina said as she attempted to go at him.
"Hold it! Don't move!" Aaron said as he and Alonzo got in the way.
"What are you doing?! Why are you helping someone like him?! Can't you see he's just using you?!" Yukina said.
"Because he hired us for our help." Alonzo said.
"That's right. For once, someone recognized our talents and is paying us pretty well, and much more. All he asks is that we duel for him and let him have our special card." Selena said. "We knew it was going to be our key."
"When you've been at the bottom like we have, you'll do anything to rise to the top." Aaron said. Figures coming from them. "Besides, it also means we get payback at you for ruining things before."
"Arthur, what's your excuse? You're family is loaded, so what could Diego have offered that you want?" Yukina said, but Arthur just simply looked away like he had shame. "Arthur?"
"You all have fun now." Diego said. "I'll be sure to remember you as you all fall into darkness." He claimed before he got in his helicopter and was leaving.
"Hey! Get back here!" Yukina called.
"Stay right where you are!" Aaron warned.
"No, let them try to fight back. It will be much more fun." Vincent said.
"That's right. Let's have them put up a fight before we completely destroy them." Zash said. Suddenly, the whole party exploded from the attack. Having that rooftop party too small of a battlefield, Yukina took things to the streets with Zash and Vincent after her. This turned into all-out war with them using their cards as weapons instead of the normal method.
"Here they come!" Yukina said as she and her phoenix made their way through the streets.
"I find it laughable if you think you can stop both of us! Hades Beast!" Zash called.
"Attack, Ripper!" Vincent called. The two of them attacked as the beast tried pouncing on the bird, and the fiend launching a series of daggers. There was almost no room for Yukina to counter attack. They were tearing through the whole streets and all Yukina can do is try to stay in one piece. She wasn't the only one fighting. The others tried to stop the rest of Diego's new team. Marcus smashed through a window and landed outside, but Aaron and Arthur went after him as they played both of their fiends.
"Go, Winter Bell!" Marcus called as he tried to fight back, but his attacks wouldn't work.
"I won't lose to a weak attack like that! Savage Titan!" Aaron called. He had his titan attack to crush Winter Bell, but Yuxuan with Lu-Zi stepping in and blocking the attack. They were all fighting in an intense manner while Snyder just stood and watched his old friend tried to be crushed.
"That is enough! Go now, Marcus!" Yuxuan called.
"Right!" Marcus said as he had Winter Bell attack again.
"I play Sword of Lancelot!" Arthur said as he modified his warrior and had it slash through both of them to push them back. "Go now!" He had his warrior attack. They both would have bene in trouble, but Arthur's attack was stopped by a series of explosions going off around them. "Who did that?!"
"I did!" Marcus was quite surprised to see that Sima was the one that saved them.
"Sima?! No way!" Marcus said. As for Alonzo and Selena, they were fighting off the others with their attacks apparently destroying both Cindy's sorceress and Muyoshi's Assembled Nightingale.
"No way!" Muyoshi said.
"They took them both down!" Cindy said.
"Salamander, attack!" Jaw-Long said as he fought back.
"Herculean Warrior!" Alonzo called as he had his monster attack and smashed its club against Jaw-Long's salamander.
"Now for the finish!" Selena said as she was going to attack.
"I don't think so!" Suddenly, another duelist came and played a card that blasted all of their power. Cindy and the rest of Team Fanrong saw that Hungwe was the one that helped them out.
"Hungwe? What are you doing here?" Cindy said. It looks like help has arrived, and just in time. Yukina was having a really hard time against Diego's two best. They were practically toying with her.
"I would have thought defeating you would have been more enjoyable." Vincent said.
"I think It's time I get some payback from our last duel. I play Gate of the Forsaken!" Zash claimed as he played that card.
"Oh man! Not that!" Yukina said as she was in real trouble now with the gate rising. Yukina would have been in real danger, but she was suddenly saved by a familiar green dragon flying in and stopping the attacks. "Storm Dragon?!"
"Yukina!" Yukina looked ahead and was surprised to see that Cray himself was there. "What are you doing messing around with these clowns? If you guys want a real fight, try me!"
"This is starting to get a little hectic. Is there really a rush to their demise?" Vincent questioned.
"I suppose not. Let's withdraw from now, but we will settle things another day." Zash said as the two of them retreated and took off and the others following. Yukina and the others were lucky that Team Storm showed up when they did.

Later
"Don't get the wrong idea. I didn't come here to help you." Cray said once everyone regrouped and talked about what was going on. "I only came because I saw Raika actually helped you, so I thought I come and check things out. So, Diego is at it again, is he?"
"Yeah. He wants all the Malicious Fiends. Somehow, he managed to find the other five, and he's on his way to get Life Destroyer from Raika." Yukina explained.
"We've got to do something! We've got to save, Dana. Right, Yukina?!" Marcus said.
"Right! Diego is a madman that must be stopped! We can't let him get the six Malicious Fiends! Are you all with me?!" Yukina said.
"Yeah!" They all cheered as three different teams from across the globe are joining together in an attempt to protect the world.
"We're coming for you, Diego!" Yukina called.
